As the demon known as Copy and her new Companion, Helix entered the shadowscape of the temple's interior, immediately the light of day disappeared almost completely. The sounds outside of the temple seemed to be muted and unreal, soon washed out completely by the oppressive atmosphere. There seemed to be a kind of shadow-light permeating the interior of the temple, a permanent dusk that let them see the corridor ahead of them for a little way but became dim at 6 feet and impenetrable at 9 or so. After 15 minutes of wandering around with only the muted scuffs of their shoes on stone for company, a trap door popped open with a dull thud and dropped them into a room before it boomed back shut. In the shadow light, they could see a stone altar of some sort on one side of the room, raised up on a dais. Behind that altar, there was a series of dark mirrors, two of which began glowing with a faint unlight emanating from them. The one on the right seemed to draw Copy's attention, calling her closer to it. The scene in the mirror was nothing like the Copy that stood on this side of the mirror. This demon stood in a loose flowing white topped gi The better to show the blood.. a faint voice whispered in Copy's ear... the vision's pants were a deep royal purple, nearly matching her skin. Four golden horns rose like a crown around the top of her shaven head, her golden eyes seemed to be staring back into Copy's own eyes as a vision triggered. Nerferu was born in the spawning pits and raised to glory in the power and spread of the demon race. She grew up fast, and hard. Struggling in the pits against her peers for food and prestige... victory and defeat in the dark swarming tunnels. An older demon tried to teach her how to shapeshift... but she only stayed long enough to learn to shape her hands into weapons. That day she grew strong enough to harness a gang to her will; the food and growth that resulted. The salty spray of blood as she meted out punishment... again she grew mighty. She rose into the notice of the recruiters for one of the Baronies... and entered the service of Baron Atalan. She rose through the ranks of the army, a rising star boosted by her brutal following of orders and willingness to slaughter all before her. She rose to the right hand of the Baron, helping him indiscriminately slaughter his foes and expand his influence. She had gained a name for her favored weapon in this battles, when she shaped her hands into giant sledges. They called her... Nerferu, the Hammer, and her only thought was to bring the demons to glory by raising her master to the demon throne... The indistinct figure grew clearer in Copy's eyes as she seemed to phase into place, looking around in shock and phasing he hands into giant sledges. "Did you bring me here to weaken my lord baron Atalan? Be warned, peasant, that your end shall be messy."

"Oh, please, they're clearly here for me!" Another voice called. Even as the odd Namekian - showing features clearly not usually seen on their kind - strutted forward, a deep, light yellow ki of glowing evil erupted from her in all directions, as Helix was lead down an unfamiliar lane... Lady Archimedean was a battle-hungry namekian, a warrior caste who took her position and talent into more than stride. It didn't take too long after she realized her power to find the humans that were below the namekians on the planet little more than nuisances, and despite the questions and concerns of her peers, was quick to leave, and join Piccolo's side. After all, the opinions and experiences of those who were not Archimedean meant little to the overconfident Namekian. Instead, she had already begun to make her court of lesser demons and weaker namekians, and sought to control those weaker than themselves - after all, they clearly needed her guiding hand, and she was all too eager to make their lives comfortable as long as they were spent in devotion to her. The halls shifted and turned as the namekian strutted forward. "So you two are our opponents? This won't even make for much of a warm-up, then... and it seems like one of our opponents is a namekian who strayed from the correct path... So much power, and yet you fail to use it. Copy entered the darkened temple without another word, as they seemed to dissapeared completely from the perspective of those outside of the ominous place. The darkness surrounding the place would be naturally unsettling, as the duo walked through the seemingly endless stone hall. The growing anxiety gnawing at her mind was not negative; it only added more to the hair raising experience. The excitement of not knowing what awaits you in the depths of darkness... it was a new experience for Copy. She spent most of her days fighting demons she could sense anyways, so this was a refreshing feeling. Despite the internal fangirling she was performing, her expression remained neutral. No smile, no frown. Just a deadpanned look, plastered on her human face.
As they delved deeper into the area before them, the small amount of illumination around them warranted a bit of relief from Copy's mind. She offered no form of conversation to her Namekian ally, being the person she was. With each step she took, her senses heightened. She remained on her toes so to speak, ready for any sort of ambush or attack of some sort. And that was when the trap door opened. She fell down suddenly and abruptly, her eyes widening as she dropped down. Using her shapeshifting abilities, her body pulsed and changed abruptly, allowing her to land gracefully on her feet. She was now in her nun form, with the same blonde hair and blue eyes seen in her previous human form. It would appear to Helix as if she was simply now wearing a nun's stereotypical clothing, her facial features not changing in the slightest.
Copy eyed all about the room they both now stood in, seeing the multiple mirrors that were propped up in the room. Instinctively, her gaze fell upon the one to her right, and she approached it without as much as a thought. In it, she saw a face that she never thought she'd ever see again... Copy's eyes grew even wider as stared at her original form, the sheer likeness of it jumping out at her. Her eyebrows arched as she was tossed into a surrealistic vision, her pupils dilating.
She saw many things... heard things... the bloody mess of bodies beneath her feet looked beautiful... the ferocity at which she fought, it all felt... weirdly comforting. What was the meaning of this? Was that..... Copy? She knew one thing. Whatever that thing was in the mirror, it wasn't her. At least, it wasn't her anymore. So what was that vision she had just seen? It couldn't be a prediction of the future... as that old body of hers was capable of shapeshifting, yet what she saw in the mirror betrayed that. The temple was tainted with darkness... maybe this was some sort of test? A fight against a version of yourself? Who was responsible for all this? These questions surfaced her mind, but Copy quickly pushed them back down into her sea of thoughts. The vision seemed to materialize, and before the Shapeshifter knew it, there it was. Standing directly in front of her.
The words that flowed from Nerferu's mouth made Copy only more confused. What was she? What was this? Soon enough, another character joined them, a feminine Namekian it was, and Copy regarded her with interest less than that of a fly. The old demon was more interested in this... other self... or was it even herself? She grit her teeth hard, staring directly at her old form.
"I did not bring you here... demon, but know this. I don't know what you are, nor why you are here, but your very existence is a threat to everything I've ever believed in."
This demon, crushed others beneath her feet with little to no remorse, much like Copy. But the difference between the two of them was that Copy was her own boss, and always would be. There would be no changing that. This version of her... was weakened. It wasn't what Copy wanted to be, and simply knowing that this could've been a possible path that she could've taken... almost made her puke. She had joined the pitiful demons instead of correcting their ways. She had killed countless people, people who didn't deserve her retribution. This had to be corrected. Immediately.
"I'm going to erase you. Now."

Helix's ears strained against the darkness, searching out for the slightest sound among the gloom that might reveal what they were walking into. Unfortunately, the trap door made no warning sound until it was too late. The new area they found themselves in was thankfully better lit, even if it wasn't the most comforting appearance. In his shock, he failed to notice the sudden change in his impromptu partner's appearance, distracted instead by the ominous setting in front of him.
Both fighters were drawn to a mirror, set up in some sort of ritualistic fashion, and while Helix could tell that something concerning was happening with Copy's investigation, he was far too entranced with what was happening within the mirror he examined. The dreadful aura that emerged to his right was only a footnote in the horror that he witnessed himself, as a figure stepped forward from the mirror as a twisted reflection of his own.
Once, when his people lived in peace on their homeworld, all those Namekians that had survived a cataclysm far in the past were spawned from a single great ancestor, the fabled Guru. In the centuries since then, after his people had migrated to the planet Earth, the call to create a new generation spread among what was left of the native Namekians. Having already lived for some time on this new world, not all shared the same view of this new generation, however, and among those that chose to create new life, values diverged. Some chose to create children who could better blend in with the Earthlings, or at least took to heart the great variety that was present among the Earthling population.
Helix's own creator, on the other hand, was one among those with simpler opinions. He would create a child in the image of the Namekians of old, not necessarily out of pride or tradition, but rather to preserve, as the Warrior-Clan ultimately strives to do. With carefully balanced strength and potential poured into the essence of his egg, Helix was born to, perhaps, one day take his father's place as the guardian of the Namekian people. With hard work and judiciously applied wisdom, Helix could grow to become someone truly great.
What stood before him now was the total opposite. It wasn't the odd shape that this being took that offended every sense within Helix's form, nor fear for the power they emitted. It was the malice. The pure, venomous bloodlust that eminated from their every pore as they taunted the Warrior sickened him to his core. The Namekians were blessed long ago, it was said, by the ruler of the universe himself, and granted stewardship over artifacts of such power that no other people could be trusted with them. That one of his own kind, no matter what planet or reality they hatched from, could be twisted into this..monster..was too much to bear. Only one word came to mind as Helix took his stance, ready to fight with every fiber of his being.

Copy's raised a hand before her face, and balled it up into a tightly closed fist. Black energy seeped out of the tiny open spaces left by the fist, her eyes opening up even wider than they did before. Her face was the epitome of pure, unhindered rage, and she made no attempt to hide the sheer amount of hatred she felt for this... thing. She let her negative emotions fuel her power, as onyx energy began to swirl up from beneath her on the stone floor. Her sky blue pupils began to fade away, seemingly blending in with the colorless sclera before finally disappearing completely. Her eyes were now lacking pupils as a vein popped up on the side of her forehead, and her teeth grit. Weakness, cruelty, primitivism, all these things represented this pitiful shadow of her. Demons were not righteous, and this 'Nerferu' was far from it as well. That, was the problem that she had came here to solve. None of these demons that opposed her and Helix would leave here alive, if she could help it. A powerful aura burst around her as she shouted loudly, her current thoughts being shown clearly in the pattern of her aura. It rolled off of her form in waves, and lashed out around her, with tiny sparks of energy flying out around her. "Prepare yourself. It's not everyday that I show pitiful demons like you such power."Her mouth opened to a terrifying and rather concerning degree, as something large and ominous began to climb out of the hole. This was her shapeshifting powers. She would show these worthless maggots a perfected form. Soon enough, the creature had completely dragged itself out of Copy's mouth, and consumed the nun immediately. It spoke, and three different voices came out. One was her regular human voice, while another was a stereotypical, hysterical voice of a shrivelled woman, and the final one was deep, inhuman, and ominous. "This is your end."

With already too much to deal with, Helix had no choice but to suppress his concerns at the transformation his ally was taking. What exactly did he agree to help? Surely this wasn't something common among the Earth people? No matter, an enemy stood before him, with no signs of backing down. He fell into a long practiced defensive stance, becoming a rock upon which his opponent would crash against, and focused his power to its full. The mass of his patterned muscles bulged, his veins visibly pumping beneath his green toned skin. Perhaps he had made a mistake coming here without the aid of his kin, falling into matters out of his league, but it was too late for doubt. Fear would only lead to his death so long as he had no known means of escape. The only option was victory.
Growling in the effort of tapping into his body's full strength, he focused everything on the fallen Namekian, launching himself forward into battle! {166|672}

Nerferu cast her senses towards the human seeming figure as she began speaking... and felt the familiar energy signaling that she was one of her people. She cackled derisively as her foe named her demon, as if she herself were not one. She was taken aback as her mouth opened and... she crawled out of herself? This was not normal even amongst demon kind, and Nerferu had never heard of a demon that worked quite like this... she hoped Baron Atalan would be pleased when she presented its corpse as a trophy to him. He loved deviant mutations like these, that allowed him to further his study of magic. The layered voices were quite interesting too, and a bit unnerving, she had to admit to herself. She supposed this was what she could have become if she had pushed her shape shifting to its utmost limit; the sight of this made her glad she hadn't. She went her will out into the ambiance of the temple and drank it in, filling herself with its dark power. Her Dark Orange ki flared into an aura around her as she considered her enemy's taunt and answered in an amused tone, "We'll see about that, you're not even a real being, you just copy everything around you. I'll finish you quickly, since you seem to be... a possibility of what I might have been. We'll learn a lot from your corpse."{ Battle Stats} DEFENSE PHASE.

The namekian in front of Helix gave a savage grin as she saw the muscled namekian enter a combat stance. His stoicness would be contrasted by the savage grin the copy gave as she got ready for the man's approach, putting both hands to either side and giving an evil cackle as her violet aura exploded around the room. "...That quiet stoicism..." The mutated namek girl got into a low combat stance, nails showing as she took her form in stride. One hand was outstretched as if ready to grab any offenders that got too close, while the other was drawn back with bent elbow, deadly blackened nails pointed straight towards her opponent's vulnerable heart. A very offensive and strong stance that sought to give her a chance to rend her opponent asunder the moment the battle began. A cruel smile eventually settled on her face. Copy's makeshift eyes would narrow at her shadow, the gleam of the crimson color only seeming more emphasized by the half closed eyelids. The three different voices she took up came gushing out of who knows where once again, with the words tinged with sheer malice in all three of them. "You don't honestly think you can defeat me in combat, correct?"Who did this demon think she was? She was nothing but a mere shadow, a mere mistake. She wasn't even the true version of Copy. Copy would never work under anyone, not even a demon. Even if it meant the end of her sad life..... right? At least, she thought so. Either way, it was about time that this bumbling fool tasted defeat. Three different appendages suddenly sprouted out from her form, each one in the shape of a human arm. Black energy began to gather in the palms of all three of them, and that was when she heard the bragging and boasting of that odd looking feminine Namek over there. A bit annoyed, angry and reckless, Copy moved to be the first to act. She yelled at the Namekian that wasn't Helix as she pointed one of the arms at her, energy blast ready to fire. "Pipe down, pipsqueak!"The onyx ki burst forth in the form of a regular energy blast, charging straight towards the Namekian woman. Copy then dashed across the room towards her true opponent, literally sliding across the stone as she drew nearer and nearer. Her makeshift arms thrust forward by about eight feet, as Copy attempted to shove both blasts straight into this demon's gut.

A burst of dust and smoke erupted around this mockery of his own kind, a product of his ally's efforts to assist. Helix appreciated it, since his own opponent would have to be eliminated quickly if he had any hope of remaining a factor in Copy's fight. As the Earthling rushed off, Helix himself struck. Before the dust could settle, he launched himself forward with all the speed he could muster, focusing his energy into his arms and diving towards the wicked energy source at the heart of the obfuscation. With a roar of defiance, he lashed out, unleashing a barrage of blows that bore the entirety of his strength behind them. Once he was sure he must have knocked his twisted foe off balance, he latched onto them, attempting to make use of his powerful, larger frame to entrap them. If he could get a solid grip on the corrupt doppelganger, he might not only have a chance to crush her mocking form down to size, but create an opening for his stronger ally to take advantage of. Even with the gap of power, surely the Earthling's own struggle would be in their favor if the fight were to become two against one. The amorphous shape before Nerferu grew three appendages from it's mass and began charging them with a dark black energy. She cackled at its question and sneered as she called back, "I don;t know if defeat is the right word for what is about to happen to you... obliteration is probably closer, creature." It is was then she even contemptuously began wondering if that was as good as she could manage.. before the creature began sliding towards her, arms stretching with energy blasts coiled directly at her midsection. She made a snap decision and started to spin and twist away from the attacks, but wasn't quite fast enough to evade both as the right... hand... of the creature managed to slam the energy blast against her left side before she could get out of the way. She growled as the burning ki ran across her skin, darkening it to almost the same filthy black as this creature's ki. She gathered concentrations of energy in her hands and her right foot; as she fished her spin she brought her leg up and launched a kick through the empty air, releasing a crescent bolt of orange energy towards the shapeless mass of her opponent. Her heart was picking up its pace now, adrenaline and joy of the battle was making her body and soul tingle in anticipation. This was the most alive she ever felt, engaging in destruction of her foes. Lady Archimedean waited with a smug grin as her fellow namek strode forward, ready for a useless speech before an equally pathetic strike - before a blinding flash of green wiped the smirk straight off her face. Pulling back, the Namekian was briefly forced on the defensive, dodging through the flurry of blows with a look of shock, before barely managing to dodge the grapple with a quick spinning backflip to get her out of range. The girl looked on with shock and no small bit of anger. "F-Fast..." The mutated namek muttered, her cocky expression changing to one of fury. "...But no one gets the better of Lady Archimedean, Piccolo Daimao's trusted lieutenant. Certainly not your odd demon turncoat friend over there, and most certainly not some barbaric brute like yourself!" Archimedean held both hands forward, painted lips pulling back into a sneer as Purple energy radiated from her palms. "Take this! Infinity big bang storm!" The namek screamed, before unleashing a hail of blasts at her counter-part, a gatling gun of exploding black spheres that burned the ground and left the area in tatters from the indiscrimninate destruction. Even as she unleashed the attack, though, the furious stream of blasts streaking across the room was quickly halted by a large explosion that sent the namek sprawling. "kuh.... You bastard..." The Namekian spat, bringing herself shakily back up to her feet as she tried her hardest not to stumble from the hit. BATTLE TRACKER

Copy struck a single hit, and slid away, keeping her distance as she closely watched her opponent. Eyes narrowing, she cautiously observed this Nerferu gathering energy before suddenly kicking the space before her, sending a crescent of energy flying straight towards her head. In the span of a mere moment, Copy's supposed head had retracted into her body, seemingly shrinking to the point at which it dissapeared completely. The orange ki flew directly over her messy form, and Copy brought her head back, only to have two energy blasts charging towards her at a great speed. The shapeshifter automatically sprung into action. A pink wall soared upwards, made entirely of her own mass directly in front of her, and the two energy blasts sent her way hit the hasty defense instead of Copy, and smoke billowed in the air. The wall dropped, and there stood the demon. That stung a little. She stole a glance at the two Namekians, as they both began their bout, her ally opening up with with a series of blows that the other one avoided, narrowly. The Lady then thrust both of her arms forward, and fired off several energy blasts at Helix. Copy could feel the energy radiating from the blasts, and could tell that they were probably going to prove to be troublesome for her ally. Dashing over to the regular Namekian, Copy shapeshifted into a wall, blocking only a fraction of the shots sent Helix's way. She shapeshifted back into that mess of appendages and color, and spoke to her ally. "Be careful with this one, Namek. And try to stay alive."After viewing the lady Namek's powerful technique only once, Copy was confident that she could replicate it completely. Turning back to the opponent she fought before, she shapeshifted, taking the form of Lady Archimedean. "Die."The voice still sounded like three at once. Raising two arms, the doppelganger of the womanly Namekian formed two potent orbs of burning black energy. They were fired off immediately, and even more followed after. They all flew towards Lady Archimedean instead of her shadow in a surprising turn of events, intent on finishing her quickly. Copy wasn't too confident in Helix's abilities, and as such, she might need to aid him.

Helix threw everything he had into that assault, even seeming to catch his opponent off guard by his own ferocity and skill, only for this Namekian mockery to dodge and evade him at every turn. As they drew back, unleashing an overwhelming barrage of energy at him in response, his shaky hope wavered. He wasn't ready for this. He should have left and gone back home, letting stronger, older, more experienced Warriors handle things here. The wave of corrupt light drew closer. He watched it all as if in slow motion, himself rooted in place and unable to react. It was over when it was only supposed to have begun, and he had nothing but himself to blame.
Shaken in his own self-doubt, he didn't notice Copy's approach until she was already shifting shape again..so strange..blocking what they could of the attack against him with their own body. That destructive, violent, evil energy crashing into another..to protect him. Flashes of his past flickered before his eyes, of a comrade from the past who fell to an inferior enemy because of Helix's own short comings. As he got lost in the crushing guilt, he could barely so much as acknowledge as his body reflexively guarded itself, crossing his forearms before him and absorbing the remaining bulk of Archimedean's attack. It never dawned on him that the violent assault of energy tore at his clothes and burned at his flesh. He was hardly even conscious of the fact that a defiant shout rang from his mouth, his body surging with renewed energy as he immediately threw himself back towards his foe, nails and fangs bared and ready for use. It didn't even occur to him that a mirrored version of his twisted opponent's own attack was launched back at her by his Earthling comrade, who was really no worse for wear physically than himself. All he knew at that moment was a red tinted haze, filtered over the painful memories of his past as he pummeled at what remained of Lady Archimedean, reeling in the emotional overload of another throwing their life in jeopardy to protect him, Helix of the Warrior-Clan, one who was born to protect. {368|1,281}

The battle shifted and swirled away from Nerferu in a blink of the eye as the amorphous creature rushed over to defend the namekian that seemed to be accompanying her. Nerferu wasn't sure why this thing would stick its neck out for one of the slug people... but she could try to take advantage of it. She raised her palms and charged up her dark orange ki into blasts one aimed at the slimy slug thing and one at her demon brethren. She began circling around and away from the mirror, taking aim at the green skinned warrior once more, she snapped off a shot aimed at his right knee, hoping maybe it would help to slow him down.
