Helix considered for a moment that his senses had been knocked fully loose once he registered a doppelganger of himself charging their demonic foe. He took some hope from the fact that he couldn't have been killed and forced to watch the battle continue from the beyond, unless his body somehow gained the ability to fight on without his soul, so even if he had simply gone mad at least he could count on the fact that he continued to breath. Watching his double charge in for the fight was inspiring, at least, and so he decided to follow suit. He wasn't sure where his stores of energy continued to be drawn from, he had never had such an overpowering opponent to fight before and thus had never had to push himself this hard, but he continued to do so anyways in the hopes that this might end, already.
Charging forward from the opposite direction of this clone, he tried once more to latch on and perhaps tangle up the many limbs of Nerferu. Aiming for the joints, and utilizing his sharpened nails, he made YET ANOTHER effort to slow his foe down. Guardians above, he was going to be sore tomorrow. {202|3,714}

Sneering at the clearly inferior version of herself, she watched as it fell to her knees before her might. All was tight with the world - her power was clearly going to be the superior. This broken version of herself had fallen off of the path to power and the glory of her kind. She would correct the universe's mistake. Her eyes narrowed as the shifter morphed into the form.. of the namekian. Clever indeed... her attacker waded in punching and throwing elbows, but she had the energy to burn to avoid them all. She kept he eyes carefully on the shifter as she dodged and weaved... and let loose two swirling bolts of dark orange power towards the wily opponent who was using her powers in a last ditch effort to confuse her. She had to twist and flip back as the namekian.. she was pretty sure it was the original namekian... came in trying to grab at her once more. She landed facing her enemies, eyes darting back and forth... which one was the namekian and which one was her damned mirror self? Things were looking rather bleak, and the odds were not in Copy's favor. Her attacks had little to no effect on her cursed counterpart, who continued to weave through attacks as if they had meant nothing. There was a simple question lurking in her head... How? It had been floating around in the shapeshifter's mind for quite some time. Simply, how? Herself and this... 'Nerferu' were roughly the same strength, she could feel it, yet still, here she was. Completely drained of energy and struggling to keep up. One thing was certain, however. This fight was far from over. She stubbornly trudged forward, arms crossed against the colliding energy blasts. Nothing was going to stop her from correcting things, nothing had been able to do it before, and she was incredibly sure that another version of herself wouldn't do it. The demon of this world had taken the shape of the Namekian, but failed to sneak past Nerferu's guard... what exactly could she do now? All else had failed, and her energy reserves were running low. But at the same time... she could feel her opponent's ki supply beginning to fade slowly. Slowly, but fading nonetheless. If she could hold on for just a little bit longer... she might be able to win this. She thrust an arm forward, and it extended several meters. It flew towards Nerferu, attempting to strike her in the torso with a palm strike, while her second arm did the same, but unlike the other, made use of the sharp nails on this form in order to pierce this shadow.

With little else to do but to keep struggling against what was looking to be more and more inevitable, Helix focuses his energy and charges in for another attempt. He'd get his damned hands on this stupid demon or die trying! With a desperate cry, he hones in on Nerferu, and attempts to latch on. If only he could drag this monster down a bit, they might at least have a chance to at least smack it around a bit before the end. {83|3,797}

Nerferu was faced with tow identical namekians, unsure at first of which one was her mirrored imperfect self and which was the slug man. One of them darted forward and attacked with extending arms, raking with its nails while the other one went for a brutish grapple one more. Rather than dodge, she surrounded herself with a barrier of ki and allowed the strikes to bounce off of it. The other namekian grabbed her... and she was pretty certain that this was the original one. She was hurled to the ground, but she managed to roll with it and extend her ki barrier out enough to slip away before he could pin her down and really start trying to damage her. Rolling up to her feet she called out, "Well done, slug. At least one of your attacks wasn't completely incompetent."Dark orange light speck with black dots shot into being around her as Nerferu called in more power. She could feel herself drawing near to the end of her power... soon she would be down to throwing punches like a peasant slave. She formed another projectile and sent it spinning towards the one she was pretty sure was her copy with a flick of her wrist. She jumped back and kept her eyes on both of her opponents... it wouldn't be long now. Soon... someone was going to make a mistake and this battle would be over. The now Namekian Copy and the real Namekian Helix were finally beginning to make some progress. Copy's extended strikes had managed to hit home, or at least, near to it, as Neferu had hastily crafted a makeshift barrier made of pure energy in order to defend herself against Copy's melee attacks. Helix had finally managed to get his hands on the demon, but was shaken off rather easily. Overall, their attacks did not do much to truly damage their foe, but each person participating in this seemingly never ending fight is growing tired. Eventually, one of them had to collapse, and Copy was working through hell to ensure that the one collapsing would be her. The Shapeshifter raised a fist, and brought it down like a hammer, slamming into the energy blast shot her way, forcing it to hit the stone floor with a thud. Her eyebrows, or the immediate area where her eyebrows would be if she wasn't currently a Namekian, twitched as Copy began to run forward, forming an orb of darkened ki in her hands as she did so. She threw it forward before she arrived at a striking distance away from the demon, and once she was close enough, she used her right elbow to send an attack at Nerferu's face, and her left palm to strike the demon's chest roughly. Soon... this would all be over... hopefully.

Nerferu's tank was nearing empty; she could feel urgency building up in the back of her mind, a little voice in her head was telling her... Finish this now, Nerferu... or they will finish it for you. The other her charged at her behind a crackling black energy bolt... she was certain it was her despite the shape she wore, they way she moved and fought was very distinctive from her companion. Once again she formed the shields of ki around her hands, batting the energy bolt away and sliding back a bit as most of her ki shield dissipated with it. She shifted one hand up to block the elbow and tried to stop the palm strike with the other... and her shield didn't quite hold. The palm strike slid past the barrier and struck against her chest, knocking her back a couple of steps and making her grunt. She took a deep breath and gathered a bit of her ki in her hands, making it look like she was about to shoot her normal ki blast once again, while feeding her ki into her feet. She pulled back her arm as if she was about to cast a bolt... and then whipped her leg up in a diagonal high kick, sending a spinning crescent of ki back at the false namekian. spinning and bringing her foot back down to plant, she kept turning and kicked up with her other foot in a horizontal arc, sending another dark orange crescent of energy flying at her foe... hoping this would be the end of the fight. { Battle Stats} DEFENSE PHASE. +0 HP Lifedrinker

The fight would rage on, and Copy would end up scoring two more hits on her sole opponent, barely even managing to inflict much damage to her. This whole fight had been devolving since the beginning of it. The whole process was a long and grueling one, completely opposed to and in contrast with what Copy had thought this fight would've been. Her goal was to knock them both down quickly, and continue on, however, at this moment in time, and with her current state... she didn't seem as if she was able to do that... How the hell had she managed to let things get like this? Her vision was blurry, her body was wounded, and she was struggling to maintain the form of the Namekian. She stumbled a bit as she retreated backwards, arms raised defensively. Although... blocking these attacks was not the best option. The world seem to slow down around her as the dual crescent arcs of orange energy flew towards her, seemingly faster than she could even hope to move. The arcs sliced straight through her green skin, one went straight through her torso, slicing her body in a diagonal fashion, and the other ended up missing. The pain from being essentially... cut in half sparked within her mind, and with that, a blank look came across her face. The two severed areas of her body began to slowly come apart... as Copy's head dropped down to the ground. Did that just happen? She just let that happen. N-No, there's no way that can be right. Maybe this was all a fleeting dream? Anger swelled up within her as she cursed herself for letting this happen. Did she just lose? To a lesser demon? This... sinner? Onyx energy began to surround her form. She wasn't going to let defeat slide! She simply couldn't. To do so would be to have failed. To fail to do something she had vowed to do from the very start, and she had never failed at it once. Today would not be the day... that she fails. It simply wouldn't be! A blood curling scream pierced the air, bursting out from the shapeshifter's mouth. Her body mended itself, and out of her screaming mouth crawled out the very same thing that Nerferu and Archimedean had seen at the start of this endless struggle. That form... Copy's no-nonsense form. That mess of appendages, color, shapes... it was an abomination. The scream seemed to evolve slowly... not only sounding like the Namekian himself, but also like Copy and Archimedean. Three layered voices were heard as she spoke, two extremely bulky arms sprouting from the side of the creature that was now Copy. "I've fought many different types of demons... too many to count. Not once have I fallen victim to defeat, and not once was I ever close to tasting it. To think, that my very own 'copy' would push me this far..."The thought of it brought a figurative crack of light in the room of darkness. The only person that could truly defeat Copy... was Copy. This monstrous version of the shapeshifter slid on the ground once more, suddenly changing and shifting her look again, into her very own shadow... Nerferu, her original form. A straight punch was sent towards the neck of her opponent. She then spun around to deliver a roundhouse kick to the side of her opponent's head, in similar fashion to Nerferu but within the very same motion, she shapeshifted again, turning into Archimedean this time.

Nerferu smiled grimly at her other self's words; it stroked her ego that she was acknowledged as the mightiest foe another had ever face. Even if that person was herself, kind of. She kept her face calm and simply answered, "It will ever be so, sister. The cause of the demons is inevitable, if you would only take it up here, we could conquer both places for our kind. Think of the GLORY!" The straight punch that followed was lazy, if not outright sloppy and she was able to easily move back from the strike. The roundhouse was more on point, but she managed to dip under the whistling kick and avoid contact even as she saw the other's flesh melt and flow into yet another new form; the other namekian who had come through the mirror with her. She shrugged and leveled a dark orange blast of ki directly at the other's face with her left hand while pulling in even more power to herself. The flow was weaker this time, she was truly at the end of her rope now and would need to make due with what she had gained as her aura flickered around her, paler now than before. She laughed derisively at the shape, "You didn't think that would give me pause, did you? She was a weakling copy of the weakling, I don't care about her." She stepped forward, her right hand cocked back behind her back as if she was about to shove it forward to launch a blast... and then she did a backwards flip, kicking her right leg up and releasing a vertical spinning crescent of energy right towards Copy's upper torso. { Battle Stats} DEFENSE PHASE. +2 HP Lifedrinker

In a flash, everything came crashing down. A charging orb decorated the beautiful color of orange dashed directly at this universe's Copy, and in no more than an instant, she crossed her currently green arms in the shape of the twenty fourth letter of the alphabet, and brought them up to her face. Pain stung straight through her arms, and she fell backwards with the impact. Her back skidded across the stone floor until her body came to a stop. She gathered strength in her legs, and with them both, performed a kip up, and landed into that same standing position she was in formerly, crouching slightly, and arms raised defensively.
The cursed Nerferu laughed at her facade, to which Copy scowled. She continued to examine each and every little movement that her clearly dangerous opponent made, desperately trying to make a comeback. She was completely drained of any energy she might've had, and now, she had nothing else to fall back on. Perhaps she may have been examining the other demon a bit too carefully. As Copy prepared herself, the crescent shaped streak of ki came rushing at her faster than she could've tracked. Shit...
It had proved to be a possibly fatal mistake.
It sliced straight through the left side of her torso, and as it left her body, it had taken Copy's arm along with it. The limb flopped uselessly on the ground, and melted immediately on impact. Not a sound, cry nor groan was uttered from the shapeshifter's mouth. Slowly, the arm was replaced as Copy returned to her regular nun form, eyes void of any sort of color. She was panting... heavily. She took a shaky step forward, and raised her fists offensively once again, defiance screaming in her head.
"You think this hurts...? It barely... tickles."
The lie would only grow more apparent with each step she took, as her movements became slower and slower until finally, she stopped completely. She couldn't understand... what happened? She could inflict more damage at the start of the fight, but she had wasted so much of her strength... As she was now, there was no overcoming Nerferu's sheer power. She charged up a final energy blast in the palm of her hand. She poured out what little energy she had left into the orb, desperately begging whatever god existed for more power. Soon, she tossed it sloppily at Nerferu, with the attack being so slow and weak that anyone with even a slight sense of how ki worked could dispel it. Mere moments after the ki blast was thrown, Copy would collapse face first on the stone floor, utterly unconscious, exhausted, and defeated.
