It was an early winter morning and the air was quite chilly. Most animals have either migrate or hibernate within this weather and even the trees were mostly bereft of their lush leaves. Within this forest Ruby trudged through the snow, a small fog formed in front of her face every time she exhaled. Leaning onto one of the trees for support, she took out a rolled up piece of paper from her winter coat. Unfurling it revealed what appears to be an old map, with vague directions of how they would get there. She had gotten this map from an ancient bookstore, hidden within the papers. Of course there was no way to know if the map would actually lead to somewhere valuable or that if it was a real map, hence why she decided to check the location by herself before calling in her crew. During her search, she found a freshly made footprints in the snow. A tilt of her head follows as she inspect the footprint. Her mind began to ponder over different possibilities of the owner of said footprint. In her opinion, it was quite unlikely that the person to which said footprint belongs was following a copy of the map themselves though it was not a possibility she could ignore. Slipping the map back into her coat pocket, the pinkette began to follow the footprints while keeping her eyes on her surroundings. Tracking it didn't take long, as the person who made them made no effort to conceal themselves. Closer scrutiny revealed that the person was a young adult man around her age, with ash-grey hairs. At first, the girl would conceal herself behind a tree branch out of caution though after a few moments she find that there wasn't a need to. He appeared to be in the middle of practice though why he must have quite the thick skin to do so outside in this weather. Taking a step forward, she began calling out. It’s been a few days now, since it has been snowing and Sonar is in the trailer with Nero and the others. It wasn’t really snowing hard at all in the forest, so as always, Sonar wanted to train today. They weren’t at home because they decided to go to stay in the forest for a few days. Sonar didn’t object because, he knew that he could train with Nero in the open space. He woke at about ten that day. He went to the bathroom to brush his teeth and wash his face. After which, upon coming out of the bathroom, he saw Nero beside his bed, putting down a jam sandwich and a glass of milk on the table beside of it. “Good morning, Father.”“Oh, hey there, son. Are you okay?”“Yes, I’m okay,”“Well, I made you breakfast today.”“Yes, I see that. Thank you.”“No problem.”Sonar and Nero has built their relationship over the previous week, They’ve talked and trained a lot. Sonar ate his breakfast and after this he sat in the couch, waiting for his food to digest. But he ended up falling asleep. He missed his training session because of this. When he woke up, everyone was getting inside the trailer and Nero looked rather tired. “Oh son, you’re finally awake. You missed out a lot today Sonny boy. I’m pretty tired right now so I guess it’,s tomorrow for you then.”
Sonar wasn’t too pleased with this. But something came to his mind. “I guess I could go and train by myself outside.” “Are you sure?”“Do I look like a child to you?” “Ok then, go. I’m gonna go to sleep now.” “Mmph, okay.”He went to the bathroom to take a short shower. After which he got himself dried, and got his training wear. This is his normal dark blue pants and dark blue sleeveless shirt, with a white undershirt, When he stepped out of the trailer, it was cold. But Sonar got pretty used to the cold temperature over the few days that he was there for. He had to walk through a pathway that led to the open area. Upon reaching half way, he saw another pathway but it was a right beside the one he just came from. Within two minutes he got there. His glasses were a little foggy so he cleaned them before doing anything else. After which he started to do his warm up stretches. “One and two and three and four and….”
After all this, he started to practice uppercutting, as he is trying to perfect his attack that he calls ‘Sonic Light Fist’. But suddenly, Sonar heard this feminine voice behind of him saying “Hey”. “Huh?”He said as he turned around to look at who’s trying to get his attention. When he finally saw who it was, he was caught by surprise. He saw a curvaceous 5’7 figure with long pink hair and blue-ish green eyes. He was speechless. Having familiarized herself with many different martial arts techniques, it took only a glance for Ruby to recognize the technique he practiced. It was a technique meant to target the chin or solar plexus by sending one fist vertically upward-an uppercut. With perfect execution, it would not only stun the opponent but may also knock them down to the floor which would leave them vulnerable to more attacks. That said there was something different with his version of uppercut but without further clues, Ruby could not make an educated guess. Fortunately, diverting the boy's attention away from his training did not take much. Perhaps he didn't expect someone else would be out here in the forest with this sort of weather. Instead of replying to her greeting, the boy gawked at her in response. While this was not the first time people stare at her like that, it always made her feel somewhat uncomfortable. As there were no signs that he would snap off from his reverie any time soon she decides to speak first. "Can you quit staring at me like that? It's creepy."With that Ruby sauntered over towards him to give the boy a once-over. He didn't seem to emit a strong power level though he could have easily been suppressing them. After observing his training, the Saiyan blood urged her to test her mettle against the boy. "The name's Ruby. Would you like to spar with me?"Cracking her knuckles slightly, Ruby let her aura flared a bit so as to bath their surrounding with a shade of crimson before adopting a Muay Thai stance. Her elbows were tucked in so as to guard herself against any body strikes he may make should he decided to do so. He didn't even realize that the way he was looking at her was extremely awkward. She then broke the silence, telling him that this was a bit weird and she felt uncomfortable. "Wait, what?"He finally got out of his fantasy world and back to the real world. "Oh, oh, oh. Hey there."She told him her name. "My name is Sonar Wave."Then she asked him for a spar. He found it extremely weird that she wanted to spar with him even though she hardly knew him. But he had this as a good thing. Hmm. She seems to be bored, huh. Let me give her a little entertainment. He then stopped after about twenty seconds and assumed his signature stance, which he recently perfected. It wasn't really much. Finally, Ruby thought after the boy responded to his statement. For a second she thought the boy would just continue his magical journey in the land of make believe. Had that been the case, she would have said forget it and continued on her way. The boy then began to introduce himself which cause one of her eyebrows to snap up in response. While word names are usually fine, she had to question the sense of the ones who gave the child that name. "Sonar wave? Eh, what a weird name~ Is that a stage name or are your parents a hippy?" she quipped. A wave of blue light dyed their surrounding as Sonar powered up before her. Yet the difference between their power level was incredibly high that the spar would have ended even before it began. For now, she decided to humor him by suppressing her power level slightly so as to match his current level. "Ready when you are."The spectacled person then adopted a boxing stance, raising his fists slightly in front of his face. As he was practicing uppercut earlier, she assumed his fighting style leans closer towards close quarters. Kicking off the ground, her body was enveloped with crimson aura as she dashed forward to erase the distance between them. Her fist made a quick trip towards his face in the form of flicker jab. A simple probing method to gauge his method of defending himself. Whether or not the attack connected, Ruby would fire another punch straight towards his solar plexus. Both of her punches, while basic were enhanced to the point that she could knock a regular fighter's head off with them. She would retract her arm as soon as her strikes ended, before circling around him to look for flaws in his defenses. The spar finally began. Ruby proceeded to charge towards the human. Sonar was extremely surprised by her amazing speed. "She is pretty fast, I have to be careful."Within the few seconds, he got in the mindset of trying to dodge anything she threw at him. He blinked and as he opened his eyes her first was in front of his face. He quickly leaned his body to the side, successfully dodging the saiyan's punch. But yet again, she attempts to punch him in the stomach, but Sonar was able to guard the attack by using his arm to push away her fist. At this point, Ruby was behind the human. I have to think of something that could possibly slow her down. With the idea in his mind, he raised both of his arms, while sticking out his middle and index finger, and laid them on his forehead. He then discharged a bright blue light from it, not forgetting to close his eyes so that he won't get affected. After which, he quickly opened his eyes, when the time was right, and then turned around. He didn't know if his first attack worked but he tried to back it up by attempting to grab her. A slight smirk formed on her lips as Sonar looked surprised by Ruby's sudden assault. His speed accelerated for a moment so as to match hers but she could sense the ki spiked within his body just moments before doing so. By weaving sideways, he barely managed to avoid her jab before he deflected her follow up straight with one of his arm. If he was having this much trouble from her regular strikes, the girl predicted that he will come up with some sort of trick to turn things into his favor. Realizing that his evasive attempt put her behind Sonar, Ruby would swiftly turned around to face him. She expected him to do the same but for some reason he kept facing the other way. Instead he took a strange pose before he began flashing in her direction. The light that follows threaten to sear her retina with the attempt to disorientate her. A veil of ki formed around her body which prevented his attempt so she was able to see what follows next. The boy then reached forward in the direction of her chest like a crazy molester before she smacked his hands away, her eyebrows furrowed slightly. "Seriously? After trying to flash Ruby with his Solar Flare, Sonar quickly went behind his opponent attempting to grab her by the stomach. But something happened. He somehow raised his arms a bit to high causing him to grab her breasts instead. He ended up squeezing them by accident. What the actual shit just happened. Did I just grabbed her breasts by accident?He stepped back from her, expecting that she would be extremely angry about this, which she was. He might have had the pleasure of feeling them for a while, but he knew that when something was serious, there isn't supposed to be any joke there. "Oh I see. An accident."Compared to her tone earlier, her tone lacked the explosive heat of anger earlier. Instead it was pretty cold much like the chilly weather that surrounded them. If looks can kill someone she would have murdered the person that stand before her a few times over. She tilted her head as she consider the boy's apologies, saying that he would allow her to slap him later. "A slap huh? How generous of you." she said, almost spitting her words to the floor. When fighting against someone in close combat, it was easy to touch one's chest by accident. Even moreso when they're using grappling techniques, which she would normally have been more than happy to simply just let it pass. But what Sonar did was not a palm strike nor was it any grappling technique she was aware of. Though emotions bubbled to surface she was willing to continue for now, and watched as the boy rushed towards her with hastily thrown punches. Unlike earlier, she didn't even bother to take a stance even as he approach her. A loud slapping sound can be heard before Sonar's hands flew away as if he had struck an invisible wall. One moment he was charging in with his fist and the next moment his hand flew away from her. The next punch he threw yield the same result as she watched with a slightly bored expression on her face. In reality she simply deflected both hands away at a speed one's eyes would find it difficult to follow. Taking a step forward, she imbued her fist with energy before driving her fist towards Sonar's face with a crushing straight. Whether or not the attack hits home, she would unleashed a vicious hook next to target his liver. Sonar wasn't too pleased in how she answered him after he apologized. It seemed as if she didn't believe it was an actual accident, which it was. Is she trying to call me a liar?Sonar tried to control his anger as he didn't want to come out as a molester and an abuser. After he told her about the slap that she could give him, it seemed as if she answered in a sarcastic way on purpose. "Well if I can't prove it that way then how else should I then?"He said with his voice in a little bit of a rough tone as he grew angry, little by little. He charged at her, attempting to punch her twice in the stomach, but by the time he was supposed to hit her, at an incredible speed, she blocks both of his punches. Huh?! How did she get so fast all of a sudden?But as soon as his attacks were blocked, there was a fist, that was imbued with ki, coming right at his face. What the hell?He quickly attempted to raise his arms, putting them in front of his face to block the devastating punch. Within no time she threw another punch at him but this time aiming it at his liver. This was where his injury that he got from childhood was and he wouldn't dare to spare anyone that tried to worsen it. Once he realized that he realized that it was heading directly there he quickly tried to move his arm towards her first to try to guard the attack. He did but the shockwave that came from it flung him over a few meters away from her. Suddenly, his injury started to hurt and his anger wasn't hidden at that point. His face looked like it would explode, if it was possible. He got up holding his side and broke his silence. "SO THIS IS WHAT YOU WANTED TO HAPPEN?! Ruby watched with cold eyes as the boy asked her what she should do. At this point, her kettle was past the boiling point that she couldn't care less. From her point of view, the boy was gawking at her and decided to use opportunity of blinding her as a way to feel her up. Disgust well up within her as she grinded her molar slightly. "You can figure that out by yourself."Her fist lanced towards Sonar's face but the boy manage to stop it from breaking his nose and possibly his glasses as well. The hook which she fired at his rib was also blocked though the impact was enough to send him flying towards the tree. Ruby watched as Sonar pulled himself back up, showing mild signs of injury. His face morphed into one of rage as a result but she didn't feel intimidate by his hollering. Instead it fuel her anger even more. "The nerve."Compared to his earlier style, he make distance between them before firing an energy blast towards her. The sudden shift of attack caught her offguard as she realized it was too fast to dodge. So instead she rushed forward into the energy blast which struck her barrier before dispersing. Though her barrier had taken slight damage, it somehow manage to remain intact. Crimson ki swallowed the blue as she dashed forth before she leapt, using the power build up to launch a superman punch straight towards his face. The sheer force of her punch would send turbulent wind throughout the forest which sent snow flying everywhere. She was not done yet however as she slips closer before launching an oblique kick towards his knee. Like a hammer on nail, it was meant to impair his leg so that he would find it more difficult to move hence providing her with more opportunity to strike him.
