Sonar is a tall young man at 5 feet and 10 inches and weighs about 190 lbs. Naturally white locks of hair cascades around his face and is nicely tied into a ponytail at the nape of his neck. When he is training or sparring, he normally wears a his favorite headband gifted to him by his family, which made of a dark blue cloth wrapped around his head with a metal curved place sewn to the fabric. The plate is engraved with a quaver note musical symbol. His attire consists of a dark blue sleeveless shirt over a white undershirt and dark blue pants. On his hands he wears dark blue fingerless gloves that reaches up to his elbow and open toe tabi footwear. He has a cloth bandages wrapped around his torso for first aid measures as a precaution from a past experience when he was child. Sonar is unable to see without glasses, he wears in his spars, his training, everywhere, making it easily recognizable by his peers.
Personality:
Sonar is a 18 year old young man that is said to have anger issues due to his past. He is not the type of person that you can just go up to and start a conversation like that, unless it is important or it benefits him. He normally tries to associated himself with persons who are stronger than him because he thinks that this will benefit him and he could learn a lot from them to better himself. He is not really a person you would call outgoing. He normally tries to stay to himself. Sure, if you offer to spar with him, he will gladly accept because he sees this as a way of bettering himself. He does care about others. If he sees someone that is doing something that seems to be wrong, he will try to stop them. Sonar's main goal right now is to find his family members, especially his father. But other than that, it is to become the strongest human there is.
History:
Sonar was mostly a city guy. He lived in a middle class family with his mom. He also had siblings. He had a younger brother that always annoyed him and he had a sister which is older than him by two years. His father wasn’t always around him. He was a wanted man for killing Sonar's maternal grandmother and up to now, no one knows where he is. His mother was the both the man and woman of the family, as she took care of all the things in Sonar's and his siblings' life. Since his mother could afford it, she sent him to school. She wanted him to have a good life ahead of him, where he could have a nice wife, children and also, to be able to take care of his family. In the primary level, he topped all of his classes in Math and English, but struggled with the other subjects because he had the mind-set that both of these subjects were good enough for him. His mother did convince him in high school that this wouldn’t work. And from that moment onwards, he started to focus on all of his subjects and passing all of them. He was bullied in school. He used to complain to his mom about this but all she told him to do was to man up. Sonar didn’t have anyone there in his life that could teach him how to fight. He offered a solution to his mother about this. He wanted to go to Martial Arts classes, but his mother refused to pay for any and she said she only cares about his education. Getting bullied for a few more months got him frustrated, which caused him to run away from his home. He left a letter in the living room telling his mother why he left and that he was sorry. From that day on he didn’t see his mother or any of his siblings again. He took most of his clothes with him. The hungry twelve year old stayed on the road for a week. Then a man saw him, sitting on the road, then went up to him asking where his parents were. Sonar didn’t answer the question. That same man decided to bring Sonar to his house. He stayed in his house for about one month, but didn’t go to school. But eventually did when this man offered to send him to school and pay all of his expenses. From that day on, Sonar went to a different high school and eventually went to college. Nero took care of Sonar like a son. He learnt how to fight because of him. And this is what brought Sonar to where he is now.

It was a cloudy day, when Sonar finally woke up and saw that his other friends were sleeping on either side of the bed that he was sleeping on. He got up and started to stretch, raising his arms in the air. He went to the bathroom to wash his face and to brush his teeth. After this, the young man then walked into the living room which was right beside the kitchen and saw Nero, sitting in the couch.
"Good morning sir."
"Good morning, Sonny boy."
Nero gave that name to Sonar when he first met him. He didn't really like it at first and still doesn't, but he learnt to ignore it over the years. Sonar went to the kitchen with his normal routine in mind, make a jam sandwich. Jam sandwiches are Sonar's favourite. Peanut butter was another alternative but Sonar is allergic to peanut butter. He went to the refrigerator to get some milk. Within a few minutes, Sonar had finished his sandwich and his milk and walked through the living room again. Normally, at this time, Sonar would have his training sessions with his peers that lives in the house with him. Nero was standing in the living room when Sonar passed.
"Oh Sonar, wait a bit."
Sonar turned around looking at the saiyan.
"I know your siblings haven't gotten up as yet, but how would you like to get a little warm up without them for a bit?"
"Sure thing."
"Ok. Just wait for me outside, I'll be there in a bit."
Sonar shook his head in agreement as he headed outside of the house. On the outside, there was a big space. So big, that there could be numerous spars happen at the same time and there wouldn't be a problem. Sonar sat down waiting for Nero. He started to observe the environment. It looked gloomy, as if it would pour showers of water. The saiyan finally came out, in his normal training gear that he always wore when he trains Sonar and the others.
"So, it's just me and you today Sonny boy. Since everyone else is in bed, how about a little spar to see how much exactly you are progressing?"
"Mmph. Ok."
"Oh and by the way, don't hold back."
"I didn't intend to."
Sonar's light blue aura then bursted to life as he smirked looking at Nero.
"You will be impressed."
Sonar didn't have a signature stance at that time so he just simply put his two arms to his side, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. At a incredible speed, he charged towards Nero attempting to land a punch. Nero raised his hand, holding Sonar's fist without any struggle.
"I expected more Sonny boy!"
Ok. Let's try this again.
Sonar, igniting his aura, started to throw voilent punches at Nero, forcing him to cross his arms. He had the saiyan walking backwards.
"Ok Sonny boy, one thing you should learn when fighting."
Nero said while guarding Sonar's voilent blows.
"Never stop attacking when your enemy pushes you off."
With not even a second wasted, The saiyan pushed Sonar off voilently causing him to land on the ground. Sonar regained his balance and got up. Taking Nero's advice, he immediately started to throw a barrage of ki blasts at him. As the energy balls went in his direction, you could see Nero crossing his arms, trying to gaurd the attack.
"Woah!"
When they made contact, the smoke engulfed him causing you to only see his shadow. After the smoke cleared up, Nero's arms were still crossed, with his legs implanted into the ground. His shirt was badly torn and his pants had been torn up, but not too much.
"Nice one there Sonny boy, but let's see if you can keep up."
Immediately, at an incredible speed, Nero charged at Sonar, testing if he could defend himself. Sonar tried to guard this attack by putting one arm up in front of his face. When Nero's punch caught Sonar's arm, he felt a slight pain, which caused him to flinch a little. At that point, they both started throwing blows at each other. Exchanging punches and kicks, blocking and dodging attacks, brushes of wind just emerging from the impact of each punch. After about seven minutes, Sonar and Nero got extremely tired when he was trying to keep up so they both backed out. They were both panting heavily, trying to regain their breath.
"Impressive!"
"I told you that I would've impress you. Now, let's finish this."
Sonar then proceeds to do an attack that he has been practicing for four months.
I haven't perfected this yet but it's worth a try.
Sonar proceeded to charge up a blue ki blast in his right palm. It crackled voilently with electricity. Nero gulped nervously looking at Sonar. He knew that he wouldn't do anything to hurt or kill him so he was exactly, afraid. Sonar then squashed the ki blast. The energy from the energy ball formed a coat around his fist. Then suddenly, this ki turned into a big, light blue fist, which looked like Sonar was wearing a huge glove on his hand. As he ignited his light blue aura, he started to charge at Nero at an incredible speed, uppercutting him with his humongous fist causing Nero to be flung up in the air. Sonar pushed himself up in the air, going in Nero's direction, using his ki. Then he punched him again, causing Nero to be smashed into the ground. A crater was formed due to the impact. The saiyan looked beaten out at this point and found it hard to get up. Sonar walked over to him, holding out his hand, offering to help him up. The saiyan took Sonar hand and got up. Then he broke the silence.
"You did it son!"
Nero became silent after realizing what he said
"It's okay. I consider you to be my father anyways."
Nero ignoring that said
"That was a nice spar, and that last attack was awesome. Who did you learn it from?"
"No one really, I created it myself."
"Finally learning to manipulate ki properly now, huh, that's nice to hear. Well, you can go and take a break now, no more training for the day."
"Yeah let's go inside and check on the others."
They both went inside the house.
