Things were happening pretty fast. Most people would get lost on all of the happenings, but between the magic man and the giant cat creature, the talking decidedly non-pirate cat and the fat warrior, Ty and the giant lizard creature, the shrivelled up man with the star-shaped throwing knives almost nicking herself and Vidar, and the pirate Captain who could have just spent some of that gold to buy Taco King products.... Well okay, maybe Konja was getting just a little bit confused with all the madness that was going on. What did catch her attention out of all this, however, was when the Captain received a call, presumably from the underwater ship. It wasn't that the captain of that ship reported in with a name that was a dead giveaway for a Tuffle. She wasn't exactly all too well versed with their culture, nor did she know that by an odd coincidence, they sounded a lot like fruits you'd find on this planet. It wasn't the report that a Saiyan was after them - presumably Cayle. Although it was odd how they could have seen his tail under all that water. She wasn't familiar with submarines after all. No, it was how the Captain of this ship reacted to the report. The way she said it sounded all too familiar. There was no mistaking it. While it was possible that there were groups of Saiyans that caused trouble for pirates, or even other nations on this planet... There was a special scorn in that insult. Konja's eyes widened and she released as much power as she could muster. Everything else was lost on her. Ty releasing the lizard and it becoming some sort of lizard-woman, the Captain's snatching her with yet another collar... The war swept back into her head, as fresh as though it was yesterday. The militia warrior burned white as she charged the Captain at full speed, arm cocked back to deliver the surest straight punch she could give. Instead, it all vanished. The Captain, the lizard-woman, even the pile of treasure. Konja's fist instead slammed into the reinforced metal hull of the ship denting it slightly. That was when the doors shut, and the ship began to sink, as if understanding that its most important passenger had left. Of course. It was a trap. A metal tomb for all of them. But that was the furthest thing from her mind, still caught in the war, with that Captain. "HOW DARE YOU! YOU COWARD!" She yelled up at the ceiling as she spun around, much like she did in her cell as she attempted to somehow catch a glimpse of a hidden Tuffle camera. "COME BACK HERE AND FIGHT LIKE A WARRIOR!" Konja snarled as she rammed another fist into the wall. "COME ON!"467/3951 Will O. Wisp Cayle Pota Vidar (PROJECT: RAGNAROK) Kiryu Ty

As if things couldn't get weirder than it already has. The pirate captain has a lot more advanced technology then submarines, shock collars, lasers, and giant metal ship within a wooden ship. She also had a holographic communication bracelet. And some kind of animosity with Cayle's people, from the scorn of her voice he could tell it was of a long feud between them. And the crocodile turned out to be a woman who was turned into a crocodile and was teleported along with the pirate captain who's also apparently a scientist. Now the ship is being filled with water with him, an angry black-haired woman, a high school girl, and a cyborg. "It's official, I have no idea what's going on anymore," Will declared. Looking up he then gets up at the ceiling. Shooting Ki out of his paw like a welding torch, while whistling a jaunty tune he opens a hole up in the ceiling. He then drops down and throws the sumo pirate up first. "Alright just because these guys are pirates doesn't mean we should let them drown, we should let them repay their debts to society just like any other criminal, plus I pity them a little. So um cyborg man, you go and get those pirates you locked in the cabin out, I'll go contact the authorities and some boats to help pick us up. The rest of you guys use the hole I made to get out of here," Will said. As soon as he jumped out he got to the top of the ship and got out his C-Phone, and the tried to think of the best way to explain the situation. "Hello this is police," the person on the phone said. "Yeah I and some others are on a hijacked vessel that's currently sinking, if you can come and bring some boats to make sure the criminals won't drown that will be great," Will said. "Wait, is the ship the one with those pirates that have been ransacking Taco King vessels?" the lady on the phone asked. Will was silent for a few seconds, if he blinked he would, but instead he said "This is something that was commonly known?""Trust me a lot of weird things happen in the Southern Sea, we already got various shark riding gangs to worry about, pirates that raid taco restaurant ships is not that high on the list," the lady said. Will didn't even want to mention that they also had lasers and a giant pet bird monster so he just thanked the lady and hang up as he waited for help to arrive. In the meantime, he swam down the water, and since the ship was sinking on its own. He decided to lift it on it's with all of his strength to try to get it from dropping down even lower. Whatever attachment or device is being used to make it sink on its own, Will well be fighting against as long as he can. To give everyone enough time to get off before the whole ship is at the bottom of the ocean. Of course, Will hasn't trained his body to be able to be underwater for a longs period of time so they have at most an hour or twenty minutes.

Post by Kiryu on Aug 12, 2020 16:32:39 GMT -8
Kiryu barely had time to register that the albino crocodile had become... what he could only describe as a disturbingly sexy monster girl, before the Captain sprung a trap and apparently teleported herself and her minions away. Kiryu raised an eyebrow and looked at the tiger he had released, pursing his lips and asking it a question.
"That's not going to happen to you any time soon, is it, Duchess? I'll feel kind of weird about petting you if you become a hot neko girl."
The tiger, betraying more intelligence than Kiryu would have believed possible, snorted a negative, then cocked it's head to the side... as if it was considering the new name.
"Okay, so definitely better than Mittens. Let's see if it grows on you!"
Kiryu then turned his attention towards the 'surprise' the pirate Captain had left for them. He smirked a bit, bemused by the sort of normality of it all.
Really? A metal door? That's the best you got?
Kiryu quirked his mouth. That was the problem with a lot of these villainous types; they never really thought this stuff through. Sure, a metal cage would be plenty effective on baseline humans, but Kiryu and Will had fought a giant Kaiju shark in the sky. Melody was a prodigy like few Kiryu had ever encountered, and he could detect a lot of power from the others aboard the ship as well.
Something like this would only buy the pirates a few moments.
As swiftly as he could, Kiryu moved over to the door that the Saiyan woman had started wailing on. Focusing his energies, Kiryu did something similar to what he had done to the collar. The scale was much larger, and thus cost more energy, so Kiryu did not want ton transmute it to something else entirely. Similarly, simply summoning his power and completely blowing through the door or one of the other barriers could cause issues with pressurization that could prove fatal even for the super powered warriors that they were. Instead, Kiryu opted for something else; he changed the metal that the trap was made of.
Instead of whatever powerful steel or alien alloy it might have been constructed of, after an expenditure of magical energy, the cage that entrapped them was now made of aluminum, something that should prove no challenge for a band of ki-powered warriors to overcome.
"Give it a try now!," Kiryu said, readying himself for what would come next. One of the warriors, most likely, would strike the door; if Ty or the woman he didn't know didn't do so, Kiryu would only wait a few moments before doing so himself. Regardless, the door would easily break open, swinging on it's hinges and crashing into the wall. "One of you, lead the way," Kiryu said. "I'm going to try something."
Kiryu focused, then, closing his eyes and extending his senses. He reached out with not only his body, but with his mind, with his sixth sense, that almost undefinable ability to be aware of ki and magic. What Kiryu found was... not what he was expecting. He didn't feel any residual ki or mana... it seemed that whatever the Captain had used to teleport, it had been a mechanism of some type. That said, it still used energy, and Kiryu, it turned out, was able to, faintly, sense it.
And sense where it had gone.
"I can't be sure, but... southwest of here. A similar energy signature. Not far, I think whatever they used had a short range. We have to be quick and get off this sinking ship, but we might still be able to catch them! I'd lay zeni to zucchini they have some sort of getaway vehicle. Come on, let's try and get above deck before we're trapped in this sinking wreck! We don't have a lot of time until it's so far under we may as well move in with a hermit crab!"
Duchess looked nonplussed.
"What? I know it seems grim but at least I still have jokes, right?"
The tiger chuffed... it seemed in indignation. Kiryu sighed. Just his look that he would make a new kitty best friend that could understand, but not appreciate, his sense of humor.
Everyone's a critic.
Kiryu looked up, seeing the hole Will made, then grimaced.
"Looks a little small for me! I'll get out this way and if I find anyone, I'll try to get them out!"

This was no normal submarine that he was dealing with, Cayle quickly realized. Both faster than a normal submarine would be expected to and with some sort of strange grappling arm which moved like a tentacle before ending with finger like appendages. Easily half the size of the ship above, it was the sort of ship which would carry a sizable crew and be a viable weapon in any military's arsenal; and when it launched its grappling appendages forth it looked like it might have surprised him too.
Cayle Pota didn't fall out of a tree and hit his head yesterday, he wasn't the type of stupid barbarian that the Tuffles identified Saiyans generally as. Which is why when the appendages launched out at him to grab him he did the simplest thing to the five appendages. He grabbed back, one with each arm, one with each leg, and one with his tail.
Then he began to focus his spiritual energy through his body, pushing his physical limits further and further and focusing on flying upwards, outwards, skywards. Like a cyclone of space age steel and Saiyan sinew the Saiyan would-be warlord flew towards the sky, and spiraled a bit more before orienting himself. As he saw the sun in the sky he knew the directions he was facing as he spun and launched the submarine towards South Island's suburbs.
Then he dived back towards the water, and into it. The simplest way to deal with these pirates was to hold them outside of their comfort zone, and that meant carrying them skywards. So he did so, focusing even more of his spiritual energy into it, pushing into the beginnings of Kaioken times one, and focusing every moment. Up, up, up, up.
The ship was brought some thirty feet into the air, helped in part by the lightened weight thanks to Kiryu's transmutation of the metal's type.

There were other animals in the room besides the tiger? He caught sight of the crocodile as one of the other people in the room went to go pet it; apparently they were moved by the actions of Kiryu and how he managed to tame and befriend the white Bengal tiger with his act of kindness. The crocodile, however, did not appear all that interested in friendship; it immediately latched its maw onto the arm of the young woman petting it; who didn't appear phased by the creature's biting teeth. The girl, rather than react like a normal person with any sort of pained reaction, removed the collar around the crocodile's neck - who puts a collar around the neck of a crocodile - only to then surprise the cyborg when the croc transformed... into a young woman?
His eyes fell on the tiger almost immediately. Did that mean that the tiger would also transform into a young woman? Heck, even Kiryu was startled by the transformation and eyeballed the feline. But, it appeared that this cat was not like the crocodile, as even the feline showed - a startling amount of intelligence - that it would not change despite the collar that it had around its neck having been removed.
Everything after that just went downhill; first the Sea Captain, revealed that she was carrying rather advanced technology - including the hologram communicator she had around her wrist. Then, the same scantily clad pirate captain, enraged by all of the people aboard her ship - several of whom appeared to have annoyed her, particularly Kiryu - yanked the crocodile turned young woman back towards her with a new collar, another piece of strange technology. Then, before anyone could do anything, the pirate woman, the gold, and the few people with her - not including a...sumo pirate? and a seemingly almost fully nude and very emaciated ninja? - disappeared from the room as the room was shut with heavy doors, and he could hear the sound of water beginning to rush the ship.
They were sinking.
How could she have done that? He could still sense the energy readings of the men that he and Konja had previously captured. They were still aboard the ship. Which meant that the captain had abandoned her men to die, drowning, aboard her sinking ship. He felt something. Was it anger? Yes, he would call that anger. He clenched his fists, his eyes flaring a soft golden glow as he felt those feelings wash over him. This was unacceptable.
It also appeared that he was not the only one who was enraged by the captain's antics. The dark haired Konja flew into a rage, punching at the metal door with denting blows, demanding that the pirate come back and face her like a true warrior.
Looking around the room, his eyes flashed gold again, his scanners working on attempting to ascertain the make-up of the metal which the room was constructed with. At the same time, his scanners were working on finding weaknesses in the metal plating, any form of way to punch through. They had to get out of there; not just to save themselves but to save the men trapped in the captain's cabin.
He went over to the door which Konja was beating on. The metal was denting, which meant that if he could strike it hard enough, it would shatter apart, or at least he theorized. The door was not indestructible. It was denting. Which meant it could only take so much punishment.
He didn't really have much of a chance to do anything; the door was transformed, as was every other wall in the room, into...Aluminum? His scanners picked up aluminum; a sudden change from what the metal had been before. So, this man had the ability to transmute things into other things? Something similar to alchemy? He didn't think that was possible, especially on an entire room.
But, there wasn't time to be impressed.
The cat managed to cut a hole in the roof; the water had not fully submerged the ship yet? Well it had only been a few seconds, and that allowed the feline the chance to fly out - but not before hurling the fat sumo pirate out, apparently? Well, he was saving the pirate; which is what Vidar also had to do. He peered over at Konja, "We have to get the pirates out of the captain's cabin." He attempted to reach her, not sure if she would hear him or not during her little angry tirade, but once he let it be known that lives were on the line, he turned and attempted to fly out of the same hole through which the feline had escaped from. Now that the metal was aluminum, it did not take a lot of effort to force the hole to widen and allow him to slip out as he made his way towards the captain's cabin.
The metal bulkhead door had yet to give, which was good. But it meant that the men were still trapped inside. So, allowing his energy to pool around his body, to surge and spread, he made his way towards the doors and cocked his fist back before allowing a sudden rocket boost - flames surged from the port on his shoulder - he slammed his fist into the door as the metal twisted and gave. It fell inward and slammed onto the ground as he made his way inside. He moved as quickly as possible, ripping the bindings of the men one after another as he dragged them out of the room only to return to grab several more of them.
"Your captain abandoned you to your fate; I suggest you surrender quietly and turn yourselves in. If you help bring your captain down, I'm sure the police will be far more lenient. After all, why continue to serve a captain that leaves you to drown?"
The pirates stared, shocked, at the revelation; their captain was gone. The ship was sinking, and the captain possibly knowingly left them all there to die.
"We'll do anything, just get us out of here."
As he untied the men, he felt the ship begin to rise up, being pushed out of the water. How? He did not know, but he did sense a powerful energy source under the ship; no, make that two of them. One of them appeared to be the cat. The other....was that Cayle? His sensors indicated that it was.
He was strong. No time to admire. Vidar turned his attention back to the pirates and finished unbinding them and then took them out onto the deck of the ship to await the authorities. If they arrived, he would be able to provide them with evidence of the pirate captain's deeds; having recorded the entire event from start to finish. Everything, every image, every second of audio and video footage, archived within his databanks, recorded using his bright yellow eyes.

Tiger Lily kept her hand gripped over her face, watching everyone work together to find a safe way out, and she was stunned at how upset Konja felt about the Pirate Queen getting away. Something was amiss, why was she so emotional about someone she just met, even if Jewel lived a criminal lifestyle they all attempted to capture her like good civilians, and while they failed in their first attempt they would simply have to try again. Perhaps if they ignored her crew and the captive animals they would have had a better chance at reaching her but she was using technology that surpassed modern advancements. At present the redhead was in no position to attempt to console Konja, she was still suffering from what she assumed was just a nosebleed, placing pressure over it to make it stop.
The sinking gut feeling of descending towards the ocean sea floor slowed down with Will O’ Wisp attempting to stop the ship, after escaping through the smallest hole to do so. Kiryu harnessed some kind of magic to change the metal, the hull of the ship began to bend from the pressure of the sea from the changes of unseen properties. Vidar punched a hole directly upwards into the Captain’s quarters, immediately untying some of the pirates that were kept as prisoners in the cabin, who were not at risk of being drowned had anyone forgotten they were in there to begin with. Tiger Lily secured her footing again, feeling Cayle’s familiar ki signature skyrocket nearby, the sensation of being lifted up slowly made butterflies form on her stomach. As soon as they were safely back on the surface the water inside the hull began to pour out of the hole while sunlight was now visible as proof that they were no longer in the depths of the ocean.
The South City Police arrived promptly after Cayle resurfaced with the pirate ship in tow, a familiar presence was watching him, that of Toad Lily who was wearing a modern scouter, the Doctor had connections with the World Government, and while the operator Will O’ Wisp communicated with did not take his call seriously, it was still being closely monitored. All the ki signatures gathered in a specific part of the southern sea was a strong indicator to lead an investigation. Everyone on the police vessel watched in awe as a monkey tailed teen was lifting a massive ship over his head with ease using an ability that kept the scouter on Toad Lily’s face to keep counting up due to it being kaioken. The sound irritated the doctor, so he removed it, and turned it off, slipping it into his white lab coat.
“Does anyone need urgent medical attention?” Toad Lily spoke through a megaphone a police officer handed him, then proceeded to yawn shortly afterwards when he released the button to hand it back, the black circles under his eyes were a sign for his lack of sleep, and he kept a somber expression.
Tiger Lily’s eyes lit up at the sound of her uncle’s voice, she neared the nearest wall of the ship, and punched a large hole through the aluminum made casing in the direction that she heard him speak. The teen felt that everyone was safe enough for her to abandon ship and leap into the Police boat, she found it difficult to speak without feeling the continued flow of blood filling the inside of her mouth, and her uncle was quick to react by putting on a pair of medical gloves to examine his niece's injury.
“Should I be concerned, Cayle? How is it that anytime Achido or Tiger Lily are hanging out with you that they end up with a broken nose?” Toad Lily said apathetically yet stern enough for the saiyan to hear him. [642] [3,182]

While Cayle was busy fighting with the submarines. Will was still exerting himself pushing up against the ship. Whatever mechanism is being used to cause it to start sinking either seems to be pushing down on Will. Or the more and more water filling it causing it to get heavier and putting even more pressure on Will. As if the underwater pressure wasn't enough already. The overexertion of his strength causes his time to be able to hold his breath underwater to lessen exponentially. It looked like he was going to drown, but hopefully, at least everyone else would get out in time. Until he felt himself the gentle sea breeze again, as he looked down to see himself being lifted up into the air as he still had a grip on the bottom on the boat. On the sea were the police people he called arrived, at least that wasn't in vain. He then looked to his right to see Cayle holding up the entire thing by himself, surrounded by some strange red aura, the power Will could feel and see emanating from him probably exceeds that of him in his prime, that Cayle is truly a scary person. He began to take breaths again, in and out, in and out. Come to think of it, as he felt the boat it started to feel more like aluminum rather than the hard metal it was made of earlier. One of them must have somehow transmogrified it into aluminum. They must have had strong magical capabilities to do so, so it was most likely Kiryu in that case. As he whistled for his Nimbus and jumped off. He then meets up with the others who are on the boat. "Well you all have done a good job in taking care of these pirates, honestly thought I could do this alone, but if it wasn't for all of your efforts we wouldn't prevent any deaths today. You all did great to take care of these pirates, you madam managed to help me get the collar off of that big bird beast, young lady you managed to get that shock collar off of that crocodile which was a very brave thing to do, Kiryu you tamed a wild beast and also used incredible magic to turn the ship to aluminum, and you Cayle have shown exceptional power that possibly exceeds that of most of the Earth's Martial Arts masters and lifted an entire vessel with that red aura of yours, and you Mr. Cyborg were smart enough to tie up the pirates after handling them all yourself. We all did our part to help bring order and peace on these harsh open waters. I hope this isn't the last time we will meet," Will said. And with that, he waves them all goodbye as he flies off on a cloud. The policemen and women on board the ships tipping their hats up looking perplexed at what they just saw. This is going to be something they are going to talk about for a while that's for sure. As he flew off into the horizon and into the sunset. Certainly going to be a memorable day. Word Count: 533

One. Two. Three. Four. The metal door held against each straight Konja threw, even if each did leave a dent. Whatever it was made of, it certainly wasn't mere steel. Something beyond that, no doubt. Was it beyond Earth's standards? Probably not. Otherwise, the cat would not have been so easily able to cut through it with his ki. They'd used ki attacks on the Tuffles before, so they couldn't have been unfamiliar with such things. That was only the beginning of their troubles, though, as the feeling of falling from one of her father's flying lessons - lessons that she really should try continuing - gripped her gut. Of course this being a watercraft, that could only have meant that it was sinking. Fast. The influx of seawater and its respective salty stench confirmed the cashier's suspicions. Konja hammered with renewed vigour against the metal, survival instincts kicking in. The magic man would make things easier, however, as he used his sorcerous arts to alter this hardy alloy into something far more fragile. At the magic man's signal, her next punch tore through the thick door like paper, and water started to pour in through there. Well that was no good... His next words were far more prevalent on her mind, however. The Captain was somewhere to the southwest. Not too far off... there was still time to catch her. But given the position this ship was sinking, and Vidar's reminder that they needed to capture the pirates alive, Konja could only growl in frustration before relenting. They needed them alive. And in a way, it made more sense. If the goal was to punish these criminals, then was an extended stay in prison more terrible a fate than simply drowning? A few minutes held no candle to years of imprisonment. Yes... While she doubted that Earthling prisons would perform the same experiments the Tuffles did to her, it was at least some small solace to give them back a little of what she tasted all those years in their captivity. Konja sighed. "You're right, Vidar. We need to save them... for prison."She made her way up the hole the cat punched into the hull. Up to the deck, through that disgusting seawater, then back to the captain's cabin, where the machine man punched through the bulkhead using the machinery in his arm. His design wasn't Tuffle, to be sure, but it seemed that technologies on different planets had certain similarities. Konja didn't know anything about science, or laws like physics, so of course it would make sense to assume that technologies operated in different ways on different planets with different people. Regardless, she was quick to help Vidar with rescuing all these pirates, who might not have necessarily have been Tuffles, which also made sense in a certain way. At least, the Tuffles she saw during the war were always quick to pull out their fallen, which made them easy pickings for Saiyan warriors instructed to wait in the wings and flank the enemy at their most vulnerable. It was an arguably dishonourable tactic, but in a war for survival, it was either the Saiyans or the Tuffles. At least it was that sort of reasoning that would lead her to conclude that they might not have been of the same blood as their Captain, who in retrospect, had a particular, familiar scent about her. It was muddled, similar to Jack, though it wasn't a Saiyan odour. Something else entirely. As she untied pirates and reinforced Vidar's words with threatening glares and knuckle crunching, the ship began to move in a different direction. Much like the feeling when her father would pick her up for his flying lessons... shortly before letting go, and she would fall to the ground. Konja never did finish those lessons. In that way, she was used to scout mainly on the ground, which took much longer than flying, to be sure, but at least she owned it. Her connection to the earth was unquestioned. Soon, the water began to drain from the lopsided captain's cabin, a sure sign that she wasn't just imagining that the ship was going back up. Beneath the vessel, outside in the water, she could sense it. It was Cayle. The cat as well, but the greater bulk of the power was definitely emanating from Cayle, who somehow could raise it to a level the dwarfed her own, and exceeded even that of the King. Admittedly, she felt like she was catching up to the King with her training, but she never imagined anyone could become so powerful... Konja smirked. If he could achieve such a level of power, then she wasn't wrong to keep training. To keep fighting. If she just kept this up, eventually, she would exceed the Tuffles' technology, and perhaps even ascend to the stead of the legends. Perhaps one day, she might even achieve enlightenment and become a Super Saiyan, like Yamoshi. Her father would always chide her for praying to the Super Saiyan God, but she never let go of that wish. How Yamoshi achieved that power had long been forgotten by her clan, but if it meant pushing herself to grow everyday, then she would do it. The Tuffles might have toyed with the Saiyans. But they would have no recourse but to kneel before the Super Saiyan God, lest they face destruction. The ship stopped in mid-air as Cayle continued to hold it up. Konja helped Vidar in escorting the pirates back out to the deck, where as it turned out, police ships now surrounded them. It seemed that this particular episode of this adventure was over. The Tuffle Captain had escaped with the treasure and the lizard woman, while leaving her crew to die. But on the other hand, the Taco King ship was saved, and everybody had worked together to capture the pirates. The bird was long gone, having probably flown or swum off after the ship started to sink. But as far as the cat was concerned, that was her most important contribution to this effort. That was fine... though she could only wonder why he felt the need to address each adventurer individually before summarising events like the narrator at the end of an adventure movie. Was he intending to watch over them all from his magic cloud like a teacher of some sort? Alas, that question would have to be answered some other time, as his cloud carried him away. Two by two, one under each arm, she would jump the pirates down to the police ship for capture and then come back for more. Once this was done, she made her way over to Vidar, and offered her hand for a shake. It was an awkward sort of thing, angled to look more like it was asking for something, rather than sideways to meet the hand of an equal. But she never was really good with social mores, even back on Planet Plant. "I know the cat already said this, but you did great today. It's been great meeting and working with you, Vidar." Before today, she'd only ever fought machine men built by the Tuffles, clearly inhuman constructs with nothing but weapons and aiming systems mounted on their metal frames, their voices only meant to demand your surrender. But today, she met a machine man who could argue that he did deserve the 'man' half of the term used to describe him. There was certainly a lot more man than machine in Vidar, even if the mechanical components outnumbered the organic ones. Not that Konja was any expert on the nature of AI, or the developing levels of intelligence, but he certainly acted more human than all those Tuffle drones. She made her way down to the police vessel, and from there saw Cayle still with the pirate ship overhead. She waved in his direction and called out, just a tad bit of uplift in her voice. "We've got almost everyone off! You can put that thing down soon!"From there, she turned around to meet with Cayle's friend, and see how she was doing. The way she handled that giant lizard was truly admirable. Almost Saiyan-like, dare she might say. Well, with an arm that could get bitten by such a thing without a scratch, she certainly was no mere human, as far as the ones she'd met on this planet before. Her encounter with the Captain left her in a bit of a problem spot, though. Blood was dripping from her nose after she ran hard and fast into the Tuffle Captain's invisible wall. Konja waited for her to finish her discussion with what was presumably her relative or caretaker, given the authoritative position he had over her. At the conclusion of this, she raised another stiff, awkward hand to Tiger Lily and tried her best to smile. It was so bad that it made her perfectly fine set of teeth appear crooked. "You're Cayle's friend Tiger Lily, right? You fought like a Saiyan today, and I'm sure he's proud of you. And... by the way, I'm Konja of Clan Korm. Cayle and I grew up together. It's good to meet you." Was that even the right order of sentences? She wasn't sure. It wasn't everyday that she went out of her way to introduce herself to someone outside of a combative warrior's sparring context. Well, the words were out now, so it didn't really matter. Depending on how you understood it, that may or may not have been an exaggeration. But given their villages were within walking distance of each other, and they frequently fought at the regional warrior festivals, not counting other reasons to go play, they might as well have grown up together. Any friend of Cayle's couldn't have been bad, right...? 1642/5593 Cayle Pota Ty Will O. Wisp Vidar (PROJECT: RAGNAROK) Kiryu

It seemed that, with his assistance, all the others were able to see themselves free of the ship... or free the rest of them. Cayle and Will, with their efforts, managed to lift the massive ship high into the air. Even with the metal transmuted into something lighter, it was still an incredibly impressive feat, given the size of the vessel. Sensing no one else where he was looking, Kiryu concentrated on Tiger Lily's power signature and, with an exertion of will, stepped sideways through space, teleporting himself and Duchess (he was going to run with that) to appear at her side.
A lot was going on. Will essentially recapped... everything they had done, which drew a bemused smile from Kiryu as the feisty feline fighter flew far from the rest of them, on a literal cloud. Kiryu looked at Ty, Vidar, who Kiryu only realized now was there, Cayle, who's power he had sensed the moment the Saiyan had started utilizing it in earnest, and the warrior woman that he was unfamiliar with. Kiryu then jerked his thumb at the retreating Will O' Wisp.
"He always ghost like that? Kind of puts a damper on the victory celebration if we all just get when it's done. Whatever happened to grabbing a beer and swapping stories, you know?"
Kiryu didn't expect much of a response. There was a rush of activity, with officials from the World Government arriving, and any pithy small talk was far from the priority at the moment.
Several of the officials, recognizing Kiryu from the incident with the Kaiju shark, approached him, wanting to get as full a story as possible. Kiryu told them what little he could... pirates, transforming crocodile monster girls, treasures, and adventure on the high sea. His eyebrow was quirked the entire time; it was quite the story, one that he would enjoy retelling...
As long as they made sure it was a happy ending.
As soon as he could steal a moment, Kiryu approached the dark haired fighter who he hadn't yet met. He extended a hand, hoping she would shake it.
"I think you're the only person out of this group I don't know. I'm called Kiryu... and if I were a betting man, I would say that you were going to go after this pirate captain. I want to let you know that if you do, if you want... I'd be happy to have your back. At first I thought both the crocodile was like Duchess... but the fact that that piece of garbage has enslaved someone..." Kiryu's hand tightened into a fist and his jaw clench. It took an effort to keep his power from exploding and damaging the surroundings, and Kiryu had never lacked for control.
"Anyway. Like I said. If you want a hand, I'm in. Or if you ever want to go a couple of rounds; I'm always game for a new sparring partner."
Duchess (Kiryu was totally sold on the name now) began purring, which sounded like a miniature engine, and, again betraying a keen intellect and insight, rubber her face along Kiryu's hand, sensing his distress. Kiryu could not help but break out into a smile and wholeheartedly pet his new companion.
"Yeah... I know. I'll tell you what, though. You can come and stay with me, if you want. As long as you like. I think you'll love where I want to take you; it's secluded, there's miles of wilderness, places to hunt, bathe, relax and play. I think it'll be perfect for you."
Kiryu wasn't sure if the querulous noise that followed was assent or not, but, when Kiryu moved to say his goodbyes to the others, Duchess followed him. Kiryu again extended invitations to train, or just to debrief. Truthfully, after this particular adventure, he found himself in dire need of some rest and relaxation. When Kiryu made to fly away, he magically constructed a platform to carry Duchess. The bengal got on, and the two flew off together, to better get to know one another and recuperate for whatever came next.

If anyone was actually watching Cayle, they would see him tense his finger tips then toss the vessel equivalent of a Renaissance cyborg above his head like it was a chip he was preparing to catch with his mouth. With a tense of his head in that direction and all, before pulling a water proof, 100% shatter proof, money back guarantee capsule generation pistol at the vessel turning it into a capsule and catching it like it was a coin he had just tossed in the air. Following Tiger Lily and Konja's spiritual energy signatures after he did, the dark haired, icy blue eyed Saiyan flew in their directions, letting his power level dissipate as he let go of the emotional and physical trigger that caused the activation of the Kaioken.
"I don't know, Toad Lily. I wasn't here when Tiger Lily got her nose broken, and I wasn't even aware she'd be here initially. In the case of Achido? He kissed her and I don't know what came over me, next thing I knew, he had a bloody nose. Unless you think I somehow broke her nose too, while lifting a ship out of the ocean with all my strength?"
To the others, he didn't say anything because while they had technically caught the pirates, they hadn't finished their task just yet. Somewhere nearby was supposed to be a Tuffle base, and while the pirates were defeated that submarine sure seemed to be of Tuffle make and the pirate ship seemed to be too. Could they go off and get drinks with the job half finished? Cayle called Carlos Alfonso de La Reyes on his cell phone, and the Taco King himself picked up momentarily. “Cayle, mijo, why the heck is their a submarine in our parking lot...?” blared on the speaker. “Use the capsule gun to shrink it when everyone gets out of it. If they try to resist you tell Cebo and Pepino to scare them off with big scary saiyan nonsense. I don't want them escaping with the submarine.” “Oh... it's one of those Truffle things. Got it. Johnny, Rico, get the shotguns incase we need them. Cebo, Pepino, quit cutting vegetables and get outside! Little Walter get in the mech loader in case they need some extra convincing!” It wasn't as if Carlos Alfonso hadn't survived many brawls before and led his restaurant crew through the dreaded Fast Food Feuds of a few years before. There were quite a lot of police officers. In fact, there were more police officers than Vidar had actually imagined would show up. He had been almost convinced that the idea of someone calling the police in order to report what was happening - a battle out at sea between a Taco King restaurant (that was also a boat) and a faux pirate ship that was currently housing tigers and transforming crocodiles, sumo wrestlers, and an almost naked ninja with questionable hygiene practices - would result in the individual making the call being either ignored as a crank call or perhaps the police would send at least a small unit of police to investigate the goings on.
But, there they were, having arrived by boat. Including an individual that appeared to know Cayle, and also Tiger Lilly. He had been speaking over a megaphone, questioning if anyone was in need of medical assistance. Peering over at the pirates, he had already given them a quick scan of his brightly glowing scanners, they did not appear to be suffering from any physical trauma, despite the beating they had gotten and almost drowning with the rest of them. But psychologically was a different story. Being abandoned by their pirate captain and left to die, he was sure they would need some amount of help.
But, as the boat was set down, and it was thankfully no longer sinking, the pirates began to be taken in. One by one, they were taken, cuffed, and set aside so another one could also be arrested. It was a rather quick and efficient system as the police officers worked together to get it all done. Vidar was somewhat impressed.
Odd though that everyone was beginning to leave; or, at the very least, the strange cat had gotten on a puffy cotton candy looking tuft of a cloud that he had called to him, and then after congratulating Vidar on dealing with the pirates - although he had help when he had taken them out, help from Konja to be precise - he flew off. He left the group behind. The cat was gone. Vidar could only watch as the cat took off, all the while questioning where he was going… They still had not finished their task. The whole reason behind the group being out there was not to deal with a group of pirates, it was to find some kind of Tuffle bunker, a compound, possibly filled with weaponry or treasure or sandwiches, Vidar didn’t really know what would be inside of the Tuffle Bunker, but possibly weapons had the highest probability.
After the cat, Kiryu and the tiger also left. The big cat, whom he apparently named Duchess, followed after the man. Did...he forget their task too? Well, it wasn’t so much that they forgot, or at least that is what Vidar theorized, but that they had instead grown weary of the whole business after dealing with the pirates and their giant bird - which, speaking of, what happened to the giant bird? Had it just wandered off just like everyone else?
His thoughts about giant sea birds were interrupted as Konja spoke to him, telling him he had done a rather good job dealing with the pirates, “You did quite well, too.” He nodded, “I would not mind working with you again in the future.”
There were so many interesting people outside of the lab. It made leaving the dusty old lab behind just that much more worth it now; he wondered if he ever would work with her again in the future once their job was actually done. “Are we going to go down to the Tuffle Bunker now?” He questioned Konja or Tiger Lily, whichever one of the two women would answer him, since he didn’t know what they were supposed to do at the moment. They had a job they had to finish but it appeared that other people had decided to leave. Would they leave too?
“I’m curious as to what could be inside of the bunker. Perhaps, if I am fortunate, I will find a replacement…” He tapped his chin, that last part he spoke softly, mostly to himself, as he needed to replace his arm - which was still in bad shape. He had managed to piece it together but it was weak, sensitive, and he was nervous of the whole thing just falling to pieces.
Again, if he was fortunate, he would find something. If not, he would have at least completed the task at hand.

Post by Konja of Clan Korm on Sept 2, 2020 4:46:13 GMT -8
"And I am Konja of Clan Korm," Konja introduced herself in the usual fashion. "Farmer, Scout, and most recently, ah... 'fastfood cashier'."She eyed the magical man, who from his own words already seemed to know everybody here. "Yes, it's not surprising. Her people have enslaved many. Including Cayle and myself." Just like that, all those years flashed through her mind, and she had to close her eyes momentarily to shake them off and get ahold of her emotions to carry on the conversation. "Her people and mine are ancient enemies. Although I would be lying if I said that I do not care for your help. You clearly have reasons to oppose them. I welcome you then as an ally in this war."Briefly, the farmer smiled, an awkward one. She was really in need of practise. "Yes, I would appreciate that. Let us fight sometime. I believe that the truest way that two warriors can understand each other, is through their fists."With this, the magic man who made himself known as Kiryu flew off, magicking away his new stripe-cat friend with a supernaturally constructed platform. It was at this point that Cayle hurled the underwater ship into the distance, seemingly in the direction of the Taco King. No doubt, the proprietor was preparing to deal with it already, likely as part of the plan... This quest was far from over. But while they interrogated the contents of that underwater vessel, it was understandable that others, such as the magic man Kiryu and the cat man, would take just some time for a brief respite. Vidar responded to her congratulations, and raised some questions on his mind. The machine man understood that they weren't done yet. That was likely the thing that was on everybody's mind. The mission was to locate the bunker, break in and release the pickles that were trapped there. In addition, Cayle and Jack would get their hands on that fearsome technology and knowledge, so that they could use it to turn the tide of the war... For Vidar, though, it was more of a quest of exploration and discovery. And it only made sense to her. For a machine man like himself, surely there would be much technology he could use to improve his body. The Tuffles built some truly terrifying machines, the sort that were only countered by the fact that she had seen the King and his elites demonstrate similarly destructive power before. She again tried to smile (and again ended up doing so poorly) as he expressed his receptiveness to working with her again in the future. "Thank you. I'm glad to know that I can work with someone as reliable as you again later on."On the matter of the bunker, then... "Cayle has captured the underwater ship. I think that maybe the Captain was not the only Tuffle. Maybe those in that ship are also of her kind. If so, we will have to interrogate them for the location of their bunker. And once we find out..." Konja audibly smacked her fist into her palm, "We'll break my people out of their sleeping imprisonment..." then looked at Vidar. "And you can find some technology that I'm sure you can put to good use. I have seen their weapons at war. What we saw here today with the pirates was nowhere near the limits of their power. I'd sleep better if I knew such things were destroyed, or... in the hands of someone like yourself."Of course they'd also probably bring some back to the strange man who hired them, but surely the weapons had to be destroyed, or at least go to someone they could be trusted with? If not Vidar, then maybe this 'World Government', which seemed to rule the more peaceful parts of the world. Tuffle weapons were too dangerous to be left uncontrolled, especially in the hands of Tuffles. Konja looked off in the direction where Cayle threw the underwater ship. It was all up to them now. Of course she was sure the Pickles who helped staff the Taco King would do a great job. But if they wanted her to help, she would gladly try. Otherwise, well... she still needed to get to know this Tiger Lily. And perhaps this relative of hers as well... 722/6315 Vidar (PROJECT: RAGNAROK) Cayle Pota Ty

”Hm, I never pictured you to be the jealous type, it must be part of the saiyan territorial behavior Ty’s father seemed to naturally inhibit when he was in the playground with my sister. No one else was allowed to play with Calla Lily without his permission.” Toad Lily held a melancholy expression, he was one of the people who was sometimes not allowed to play his own sibling as a child, and he returned his attention to Ty to see if the bleeding finally stopped, “Feeling better now? Try not to put any strain in breathing with your nose right now, it may cause the bleeding to begin again.”Ty nodded gently, she opened her mouth to speak, but she was having trouble doing so while she recovered and instead offered a hand gesture to make an OK symbol with her thumb and index finger. Ocean teal eyes looked over to Cayle, he was taking full command of the situation through his c-phone. She waved goodbye to Will O’ Wisp and Kiryu who departed in their own methods of travel. Konja approached her and congratulated her for fighting bravely, the sixteen year old teenager nodded, and said, "Thanks! I hope you are not too upset that we didn't capture them but we will next time. I promise!" In her excitement of being a hero her nose began to bleed again, this time Toad Lily helped her by applying the pressure to stop the blood vessel from bleeding out, and he turned to look at the raven haired saiyan woman. "I am her Uncle Toad Lily on her maternal side. Pleasure to meet you."
Rango finally approached with his boat which was kicked away from the scene for safety reasons. The android tipped his hat at everyone present then spoke to Tiger Lily, “You did it lass. You uncovered ancient technologies from the bunker I set my eyes on for a while. Where there is one, there is plenty more!”
