Cayle's official martial arts training, at least as far as that of an Earthling's point of view, was basically negligible. He was not some sort of long time student of a martial arts master in a hawaiian shirt, he was not a monk who shaved his head. He wasn't some street tough picked out of the rabble by a divine being to be his right hand on the mortal plane.
He was just a determined Saiyan who had been fighting for freedom and his own control of things throughout his life. So as these pirates attacked, firing at him and swinging heated metal swords at him, he moved without thought or hesitation. Dodging via leaping in the air over them, sommersalting past them and preparing a counter attack until he heard the distinctive, and distressed voice of his girlfriend, Ty.
Where he would have launched a volley of energy blasts back at the pirates he had been facing, he instead charged to the nearest rigging rope and grabbed it, swinging out like some sort of cinematic pirate towards the whirlpool and shifting his hold on the rope to be with his tail gripping it as he swung towards Tiger Lily and scooped her against him as the velocity of the swing brought them both back up.
Taking a moment to look her gently in the eyes, the Saiyan had a moment of pure humanity about him, “Are you okay? Do you need CPR?” he placed his ear to her chest after saying it, having landed the two of them on one of the decks of the strange ship.

The energy bolts released by the Gatling gun which Vidar's arm had become tore through the air at incredible speed. They cut the distance between the blonde cyborg, standing atop the railing of the Taco King, and the group of pirates. The shots the pirates fired and his attacks flew past each other, missing each other by scant inches, but he was not aiming to block their shots; this wasn't an action movie. He was aiming to disarm them of their weapons.
One of the pirates cried out in pain as the weapon he held suddenly burst apart as the glowing energy round that Vidar had fired slammed into the barrel of his weapon. The force, the heat, and the pressure caused the barrel to burst apart. The gun flew out of his hand as he threw it, the pain from the gun shattering to pieces felt as if his hand had been broken at the wrist. Another round struck the weapon of the man standing a few feet to his left. Another round struck a man in the shoulder, causing him to scream out as he dropped his arm, gripping his shoulder. His weapon fell into the water and disappeared into the murky depths below.
"Shoot that son of a bitch!" One of the pirates cursed, pointing at Vidar. He was going to say more only for a sudden spray of bullets to strike near his feet and cause him to flail his arms and attempt to leap back, which in turn caused him to fall fully off the side of the submarine and right into the water as he splashed about.
The large creature, the immense avian chimera, was still squawking loudly just out of his view. He peered over at it once, his eyes scanning over its frame once more before his eyes fell onto something strange. There was a cat, his eyes - more like his scanners - zoomed in on it almost immediately. They were attempting to dislodge the massive collar around the bird's neck.
He peered back at the pirates, "You used the wrong terminology; I am not the offspring of a female dog." He commented to the, now very, confused pirates, before he unleashed one more hail of glowing energy bullets towards them, forcing them to either drop their weapons or leap into the water to avoid being turned into Swiss cheese.
Would he be able to help the strange cat attempting to remove the collar from the bird's neck? He wanted to, he just didn't want to leave his spot and have another torpedo suddenly make it to the Taco King. One good hit was all that was needed to bring the ship down to the bottom of the ocean.
They needed another lookout.
He waved over, as much as he could, to the others, shouting in their direction, "I think that cat needs your help!" As he did this, he pointed in the direction of the massive bird, which was rather hard to miss even if one was distracted by fighting rowdy pirates.

Ocean teal eyes caught a glimpse of Cayle swinging by a rope over to her location at sea, sweeping her up from the whirlpool, while he held on to the rope to swing back to deck of the ship, in that moment of bewilderment she looked over to see a cat on a cloud distract the massive bird monstrosity from chasing after them. At the question of CPR, she was perplexed by it, Taco King must have had training videos of performing CPR and it was possible that he did not understand that the patient needed to be unconscious and not be able to answer that question.
“Sure.” Ty answered, uncertain of what to make of it, apart from locking lips, but she had no desire to have him blow air into her mouth so corrected herself, “Just a kiss will do.” A blush tinted her cheeks a rose hue, as she leaned in to kiss her hero, and then looked away bashfully. The rope had swung back to reboard the ship, the pirates were not giving up on their fight against two others she had not seen before who were clean for the most part.
Ty could tell her allies apart based on the fact that the pirates wore filthy clothes, even their skin were blackened by gun powder residue, and their clothes were tarnished by sea water. Pirates were a problem in the southern sea, usually people did not survive their attacks, and the technology was advanced from modern weaponry, it was up to them to secure the technology for their employer to reverse engineer. The red headed teenager had no intention of killing anyone, even if the enemy showcased no mercy, and it was best to render them unconscious.
After she released herself from Cayle’s grasp, she was quick to help Vidar take on his remaining assailants while he climbed the crow’s next to motion over to the massive sea bird, she leaped into the air to deliver a sharp kick behind the jaw and the ear to drop some of the pirates, while using blunt for trauma at the temple of their skulls with her fist to drop more on the ground. All while avoiding the laser guns that began to tarnish her black sweater to bits.
While the pirates on the ship had been suppressed, there were two remaining issues, the submarines underwater, and the massive bird. Now that she was out of the way, she did not notice the collar around the bird’s neck which was preventing it from escaping, and it was clear that it had been enslaved by these criminal masterminds in their attempt to control the ocean.
“Cayle, what about the submarines underwater?”

Sometimes I really just can't catch a break, huh?
Kiryu Miyazawa found himself in the water, the waves crashing all around him. In the distance, there was a battle of some type, and he recognized several of the people involved.
Wait a second... are those... actual pirates?
Kiryu quirked an eyebrow, more and more confused by the moment. Still, treading water wasn't going to do him any good. Kiryu focused briefly, gathering his power and exploding into the sky, a plume of seawater spraying the immediate area with a salt spray. As his verdant aura flickered around him Kiry sped over to his allies, utilizing his magic and calling into existence his ethereal Susanoo, giving him extra protection and energy. He made his way over to Tiger Lily and Cayle, who seemed to be... kissing? In the middle of a fight? People were strange.
"So," Kiryu said conversationally, "Either I have struck my head on something very, very hard and am concussed and delusional, or... we seem to be fighting pirates. Can anyone go ahead and give me the Cliff's Notes version of what the hell is going on? Those of us playing the home game would very much like to know if phrases like 'booty', 'shiver me timbers', and other pirate jargon are appropriate while we spank these idiots."

This cat was really something. Though his appearance suggested the domesticated variety used to exterminate rats and other vermin, his skill reminded Konja more of the beasts that prowled the hot, wet, and green places called 'jungles', and the arid grasslands - not too far from the badlands of Planet Plant, just with more grass - called savannas.
It was during this period of incessant evasion that he explained that he wasn't a pirate, that the down and out... pirate who looked like a pirate, down in the crow's nest, was the actual lookout - and he didn't even do a very good job either if someone managed to sneak up on him! More importantly, he too was fighting against them. Which readily explained what was going on here.
And just as quickly, his attention shifted to the giant bird monster out in the water. The cat man called in what appeared to be a living cloud, jumped on it, and flew in the bird's direction, his objective apparently to release it by way of destroying the collar the pirates had placed. With a wild best such as that flying rampant, surely things would be more interesting.
About as interesting as Cayle swinging with a rope - just like in the movies - and catching a falling girl with a notable power level. Ever the reliable comrade, he quickly performed the "CPR method" as was explained in Taco King safety videos. This was how Earthlings awoke someone who had been saved from drowning. This must have been his friend, Tiger Lily.
Just then, a man emerged from the sea and approached them. Seemed to be starting conversation. Well, why not? Given how none of these pirates posed any truly significant threat individually... much life Tuffles.
The machine man Vidar, meanwhile, continued to provide cover for the group, deftly intercepting the pirates' guns with his own very big cannon. Something that looked similar to the Tuffles' "magnetic" weapons that fired bullets. Except it fired energy blasts instead. And contrary to the frequently applied saturation fire, he used it with incredible precision, such that nobody died.
Well... this wasn't war, and Earthling authorities seemed to prefer locking up their criminals, instead of executing them. Odd, but if that was the culture here, and everyone else seemed to be following suit, then so be it.
He then waved to get their attention and shouted, apparently to get someone to assist the cat. Well... she wasn't going to be fighting anybody up here, so she might as well.
Break the binds and release the beast. Truly a predator's instinct, this cat.
Konja cracked her knuckles and jumped down onto a nearby pirate's shoulders, flipping over behind him to grab his ankles and flinging him overboard as she found her way back to her feet. She then bull rushed a line that was busy firing at Vidar - or getting shot, whichever was first - knocking them down or over with her arms as she made her way to the railing.
She jumped on and with a quick push, she was in the air, on the way to the bird, which she caught by the collar. The fast food cashier called out to the cat. "Releasing it to wreak havoc? A bold strategy." Konja hung from just beneath its beak, legs clasping one part of the collar in an attempt to twist it apart, while her hands grasped another section, fingers digging into the reinforced metal like it was mere dirt.

A lot of things were happening, Will saw Cayle do a heroic catch as he swings on a rope as if he were some action movie star. He knows he could fly so Will wonders why he didn't do that but then he sees him begin giving CPR to the girl he rescued. He turns his head and goes back to what he was doing as he notices Kiryu is also here as well, who seems to be confused about what was going on. Considering Will's on the back of the neck a giant strange bird monster, a pirate ship is attacking a floating taco restaurant, and a cyborg is firing bullets at submarines. He has every right to be confused by the circumstances of this situation. It was then the woman helped Will to free the poor beast from its restraints, although she believes the reasons for doing so to be more mischievous. Well, he mostly wanted to free it cause those pirates forced him to, but knowing that the mouth bites the hands that feed, this bird will probably turn on the pirates as soon as it's free. As she was helping he powers up to full power and together they manage to break the collar in half. The takes notices of this and begins to brush it's neck with its beak as if it was scratching an itch it couldn't reach. It then looked at the pirate ship as it's feathers ruffled and poofed up as if trying to appear bigger. It then let out a loud shrill shriek causing everyone in the vicinity to have to plug their ears. The giant bird then begins to turn on its captors and peck at their vessel. Will then saw Kiryu and flew to him to give him a summary of what happened. "Hey Kiryu, long time no see, any way to summarize it in one sentence. I found this pirate ship and a taco restaurant vessel attacking each other, I took out the lookout at the crow's nest and got into a fight with someone I thought was a pirate but wasn't and thought I was a pirate, and then they started to let out the submarines and some giant semi-aquatic bird monster they captured and forced to follow their command with what I am guessing to be a giant shock collar which I just have broken so yeah that about sums it up. Now if you excuse me, I have some pirates to beat up," Will said. Will then landed on the take and got out his staff, as he began to knock out every single pirate that would try to attack him. Whether it be a wrench, a sword, a broken bottle, a knife, a gun, or whatever object that they would try to hit at them. Will would be too quick for them and deliver decisive blows on their noggins or in their guts knocking them out or causing them to reel on the ground in pain. Some would even be kicked with enough force to be knocked on the side of the ship with few being knocked overboard. After getting inside the ship Will made he was way through the lower decks. It is time he had a meeting with the captain in charge. Word Count: 550Total Word Count: 1,761

As the group fought on in a lopsided matter, making Vidar do the heavy lifting while Konja and Will, as well as potentially Kiryu, focused on the giant Emu and Penguin hybrid creature that was towering over them and Cayle and Tiger Lily found themselves in a compromising position for a moment before Ty jumped to Vidar's aid, and the pirates began to fire with more accuracy and heavier arms. Even if they were pirates, even if they were cosplaying historical pirates, they still had heavy fire power behind their piracy.
From out of the floorboards came turret emplacements, from storage rooms rushed out forces with big damn guns, the kind which could be trademarked with that name and get away with it. They began to take potshots at our heroes.
Cayle simply sidestepped those which he could, and let those which he couldn't sidestep hit him. He was too busy trying to listen, trying to watch, trying to center himself. How would he deal with the submarine? An energy blast could work, but only if they could find the thing. Vidar's help would be tremendous in such an endeavor, but Vidar was a bit tied up.
“Tiger Lily! Stay safe and stay near Vidar! If you see the cat, tell Konja that he's not an enemy.”
The Saiyan former farm boy rolled his shoulder, cracked his knuckles. Then he rushed over the rail of the ship and dove into the water. He might have been born and raised for his earliest years in the badlands, never even understanding what an ocean was, but when you're a natural youre a natural and he figured the easiest way to fish out this submarine ship was to use the method he'd use to fish out a submerged fish.
Dive and hunt it. Seek and destroy.

Ty nodded after Cayle instructed her to stay by Vidar, as she ran across the Taco King ship, she noticed Kiryu standing there, and then she realized she had no idea who Vidar was as she had not met him before. In a far off future, she would meet Vidar for a second time in a tournament hosted by Kiryu where they properly introduced each other, but until then she opened the door to what would have been the captain’s cabin on the bridge of the ship finding it empty. The red head then followed after the black and white cat that went below the deck of the pirate ship. “Kiryu, we should help that cat, the Captain is probably down there, there wasn’t anyone in the captain’s cabin.” Ty waved at the teenage magus to come over, following closely at Will o’ Wisp’s heels. After a short flight of steps, the hull of the ship was grand, while the outside was wood, it was a facade as the inside was reinforced metal, and velvet tapestries adorned the decor across the ceiling. The port holes that were used to fire cannons were large enough to allow brilliant sunlight inside, and on top of a massive pile of treasure sat a pink haired woman, sitting on top of a treasure chest, completely adorned in jewelry. “Bloody hell, I ordered Tacos, not a mangy cat!” Jewel shouted, taking a breath to yell at her crew, “Do I have to do everything myself around here, you lot have stolen a taco king ship before, what is taking so long with my blasted order! Avast! What is with this redheaded squirt?”The remainder of the pirates below deck were afraid to speak up, as they have failed to take over the Taco King ship after coming across noteworthy opponents, and her guards were the first step in front of her to protect her. A sumo wrestler approached Will o’ Wisp and immediately reached to grapple the feline. In the shadows of the rafters, a frail emancipated man with a black face wrap and a red loincloth immediately flung several ninja stars at Ty who barreled out of the way. The rest of the stars stuck to the wooden steps of anyone else who may have followed after the teenager. A few locks of her orange colored hair fell to the ground as Tiger Lily avoided further harm. “That Taco King ship doesn’t belong to you, why did you attack, when you can clearly afford to pay for it!” Ty stood up back on her feet, taking a terrible stance, since she had not learned Martial Arts from Kiryu yet, “Also those laser guns are getting confiscated, they are intricate tuffle technology that we were going to salvage...for science! Not pirates!” “Finders keepers! You are too late, pirates are free to take whatever we want. You are welcome to try and stop us squirt!”At that moment Ty was a bit intimidated, crossing her arms over her chest, feeling insecure with the antagonizing name calling by the overbearing voluptuous pirate woman. “Stop calling me squirt!” Ty stuck her tongue out at the woman in response. A white bengal tiger and an albino crocodile emerged from behind the pile of treasure, wearing collars, snarling their teeth at the teenager which made her scream in surprise causing the Captain to laugh at the spectacle. The pirates were firing on him, their eyes nuclear with rage, shouting and cursing, "Kill the bastard already! How can not a single one of you kill him?!" One of the pirates pointed angrily at the blonde cyborg, standing atop the railing, unleashing hails of brilliant tightly compacted energy rounds upon them. He had managed to disarm several of the pirates already, their weapons shattered and blasted to smoking pieces and dropped as the pirates gripped their wrists in pain. One of the men was struck in the shoulder and he fell onto his knees, cringing and grunting in agony as he attempted to stop the wound from bleeding.
"Apply pressure to the wound," The blonde cyborg could be heard shouting over the din, speaking to the wounded man.
The others looked at each other in mild confusion. Why would he tell them how to treat their wounds? He was the one shooting at them. Why help the enemy? It made no sense to the pirates at all.
One of the pirates stray energy attacks managed to slice past the cyborg; the glowing bolt managed to slide against the cyborg's shoulder. It tore the fabric of his shirt somewhat, smoldering it, and yet it did not bring forth any blood. The pirates stared as they saw the cybernetic implants and augmentations continued beyond the shoulders.
Another shot struck him, this time on the shoulder. The force caused the cyborg to stagger back, almost fall off the railing upon which he stood. Yet, he snapped back upright as he righted himself.
His HUD immediately went into action upon impact.
ANALYZING POSSIBLE INJURY... MINIMAL DAMAGE... NO LOSS OF LIMB FUNCTION...
His eyes took on a golden glow as he turned to face the pirates once more. "Surrender now or face your destruction." He spoke aloud, his arms raised up, the Gatling guns which they had become had changed back into his normal arms, much to the pirate's surprise.
"Over our dead bodies." One of the pirates cried out in defiance in turn.
"Yes, that is... what facing destruction means..." Vidar was left standing there, visibly looking momentarily stumped at the man's reaction.
"Bring him down, bring him down!" The pirate called out as several more pirates emerged and raised their weapons high.
"Just remember, you brought this upon yourselves." Vidar spoke up as his body began to take on a soft glow; it began in his chest, the glowing visible even through his shirt, and then it spread up and through his arms, two parts appearing on the backs of his shoulders as he clasped his arms together tightly. Through a series of audible clicks and the sound of gears and tumblers, moving parts, his arms changed, transformed, as hidden weapons emerged and then it became crystal clear just what he was doing. He had connected his arms together and created one weapon.
The air around the cyborg appeared to waver as the temperature around him rose sharply, "Royal...Flush...." He spoke aloud, his eyes glowing brilliantly as he took arm, and a massive wall of flames were shot forward, flames and energy intertwined to create a wall of heat and pressure, that shot forward and caused the water underneath to steam from the heat and part somewhat. The pirates shouted in shock and fear as they saw this coming, several diving into the sea to avoid it, others throwing themselves to the ground.
But, he was not aiming at them directly. He aimed over them, aiming to miss the pirates altogether. He did not want incinerated corpses. He wanted them to surrender of their own accord.
The flames burned for less than a few seconds, roaring over the pirates heads like an enraged beast emerged from the darkest depths of Hell. Then the flames ceased and he was left standing there, eyes narrowed, steam and smoke pouring out from the ports on the backs of his shoulders, "Do you surrender now?"

Post by Konja of Clan Korm on Aug 5, 2020 7:49:25 GMT -8
The cat made his way back to the ship and below the deck, no doubt to catch the pirate captain. Tiger Lily followed suit, possibly with the magician in town. Cayle had jumped into the water, no doubt to hunt down that undersea ship that was attacking from below. Konja, meanwhile, slid around the giant bird's neck and found herself latching on to the plumage behind its crown. The freshly liberated beast quickly turned its gaze upon the ship, raised its feathers in an obvious show of aggression, and charged, repeatedly striking the vessel with its enormous beak. The yam farmer turned fast food cashier smirked as she held on with the carnage, fond memories of communal roab hunting coming to mind. Of course, this bird was not the same thing as the mountainous pile of muscle, tusk, and power that was the roab of the Saiyan badlands. But it nevertheless took its revenge as appropriately as any hunted beast fighting for its life. The beak struck the hull of the pirate ship, once, twice, tearing away the wooden surface as it went. Wood ultimately gave way to reinforced metal, at which point the fowl gave up and jumped up onto the deck, just as the machine man Vidar unleashed his trump card, singeing the hair off a number of pirates who ducked rather than got out of the way. One talon stepped up on deck, and then the other. Whether it was the fact that they were now disarmed and clearly outgunned, or the sight of the giant bird monster now towering over them - it must have been quite light to not have capsized the ship - they could only cower in response to the Cyborg's demand. Konja pumped her fist in the machine man's direction, other hand and legs clenching tight to the back of the bird's head. "Well fought, Vidar! I think these pirates have had it."The bird shrieked, as if in agreement, before turning aft of the vessel and attacking the quarterdeck. Not that there was much left to attack after Vidar scorched off the wood, but the bird didn't seem to care. It continued to strike at the exposed metal plating with its beak and talons. Konja slid down its back and off its tail, landing on the deck, with a flourish as she called out again to the machine man. "I doubt this bird will be causing any more trouble."Now what? On the one hand, there was Cayle with the undership. On the other hand, the captain, as any captain would, might have more surprises in store. From experience with Tuffle soldiers, the commanding officer always had something... surprising... up their sleeve. Given how well Cayle had taken to this painfully salty sea water, and how Konja had failed to bring goggles today, she wouldn't be much help. Not an entirely comfortable thought. She wanted to aid her friend, but given her lack of adaptation to the sea, she might just end up hindering him instead. There wasn't much of a choice here. She'd have to join the others in dealing with with the Captain. Altough... Her gaze shifted back to Vidar and all these captives. They'd have to put them away first. "I'll help put these pirates away. Then we can assist the others with the captain."Konja made her way across the deck, grabbing the pirates by their collars, until she had formed an uncomfortable pile that she held behind. She dragged this pile into the captain's cabin - oddly empty - and tied each one to chairs, tables, the bed, any heavy furniture she could find. Just like the revelation that the wooden pirate ship was actually a metal beast, the cabin's windows were shut behind massive blast plates, presumably to protect whatever was in here. Good. The farmer turned fast food cashier examined her handiwork and, finding herself satisfied, turned around and sealed them in with the bulkhead door. Giving the machine man a thumbs up, she made her way below deck and found quite the standoff. Between more pirates, two more slave animals, and a surprise attack of sharp projectiles from the darkness, it was certainly a lot tenser than the situation above. Konja quickly tilted her head to the side, the stars embedding themselves in the stairs behind her head. "Looks like the captain likes more than just giant parrots. That's surprisingly diverse for a pirate."Never mind that her only impression of pirates was movie stereotypes. [748/3484] Vidar (PROJECT: RAGNAROK) Will O. Wisp Ty Cayle Pota Kiryu

Post by Kiryu on Aug 5, 2020 10:08:31 GMT -8
On the one hand, Kiryu was glad for the familiar faces. Tiger Lily, the teenage prodigy with potential he could only dream of, and Will O' The Wisp, the old cat man martial artist who seemed to be a relic of a bygone era, were known to him. Kiryu would count them as allies, perhaps even friends, so given the bizarre tableau that Kiryu was viewing, it was reassuring to know that there were people he would be able to count on.
On the other hand, basically everything that Will had said was a string of nonsense words held together by duct tape. The only thing that convinced him that he wasn't delusional was Will's matter of fact, nearly deadpan delivery of the information. Kiryu could only sigh. Every time he felt like he was the one dealing with the bizarre, the arcane, he would have some adventure with others that resulted in, apparently, an attack by pirates.
Oh brave new world, that hath such people in it.
At Tiger Lily's urging, Kiryu followed her and they made their way below deck. As they moved, Kiryu noted that the wooden exterior was not, it seemed, the main body of the ship; it was made of a much sturdier looking metal, which likely explained why it had been able to survive attacks from the likes of Will and Ty and the others.
As they explored, they soon came across, as the stereotype would have it, a big tiddie pirate captain. Kiryu suppressed a sigh... did she really need the top to be unbuttoned that much? To him, it was like a big neon sign screaming "TRICKING YOU WITH SEX APPEAL!!!" He supposed, at the end of the day, it probably worked on lonely, desperate people... especially if they had been out at sea for too long. It wasn't that the woman wasn't attractive, physically, it was just such an obvious ploy it made Kiryu want to roll his eyes.
Or, hell, maybe she did it because it made her feel confident. In that case, who was Kiryu to judge?
The attempt at distraction was obvious enough that Kiryu was not surprised when bladed weapons came flying at their company from the shadows. Kiryu could easily have dodged, but instead opened up a hole to his pocket dimension, a tiny rift in the dimensional fabric shimmering into being in front of his center mass. The weapons entered what appeared to be a floating back hole the width of a quarter and disappeared.
"Hey, thanks for the souvenirs," Kiryu began, grinning. His words faltered and he grimaced when he saw the emaciated, underwear clad man who had flung the weapons. Kiryu sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose in a mock attempt to ward off a phantom migraine.
"Seriously, what's the deal with you people? Are you the BDSM Pirates? You could at least feed your gimp, Captain. The whole twenty four seven dynamic isn't my style, and I am definitely not the sort to yuck anyone's yum, but do you have his clear and enthusiastic consent for this? Starvation is pretty extreme edge play, and..."
Kiryu trailed off, his improvised diatribe pulled from spending way too much time on the wrong subReddits dying as a pair of animals emerged from a treasure pile. Kiryu's eyes went wide and his mouth opened, and...
"KITTY!"
The bengal tiger paused for a moment, cocking it's head, but Kiryu had already moved so quickly he left an after image. He was kneeling in front of the tiger, hands stroking it's head and scratching it's chin.
"Ohhhhhhh yes who's a big pretty kitty? Is it you? Are you the most savage cutest predator in the world? Yes you are, yes you are!"
The tiger made a noise. At first it was... surprised. Perhaps offended? But as Kiryu stroked it's head and scratched behind it's ears and made cooing noises and praised it's beauty... well, the tiger apparently decided to hell with it and gave Kiryu a head butt, it's enormous jaws rubbing Kiryu's face, marking the magician with it's scent. Kiryu laughed in delight, then noticed the collar, and remembered hearing something about keeping the animals in shock collars.
Well, that simply will not do.
Kiryu placed a hand on the collar. It was a technological marvel, he was sure... but he didn't care. With a word of power and a bit of magic and concentration, he put forth his art, and the collar simply... changed. What was once a metal bond became a ring of water that splashed harmlessly to the floor. The tiger tried to look at it's neck, failed, then rubbed it's shoulder along it's neck. No longer feeling the collar, it roared, turned itself in a circle, and pounced on Kiryu. Displaying a high level of intelligence, rather than savage or attack Kiryu, it offered it's gratitude and affection, licking the young man and nuzzling him. Kiryu was nearly giggling, then patted the beast and gently moved it, getting up.
Though he was quite enjoying his new friend, his eyes hardened as he looked at the Captain.
"So. You like to force animals to do your bidding, eh? Tell you what, Captain. You can surrender and come with us... or I can do to that crocodile's collar what I just did to Mitten's."
The tiger made a sort of snorting, chuffing noise, and looked at Kiryu.
"Okay, so not Mittens. We'll workshop it! Still... pretty good threat, right?"
The tiger turned back to look at the captain and growled so loudly the floor vibrated with the noise. The cat clawed the ground, leaving deep scratches.
Kiryu smiled.
"What's it going to be, matey?"

Will was running through the halls of the ship, he began to notice the more modern interior. So apparently the wooden exterior was just a fabrication, they must have used a lot of glue to pull that off. After dodging several turrets, knocking out various laser gun-toting pirates, and jumping over whatever trap they had. He enters the pirate's treasure room with Cayle, Ty, Konja, and Kiryu to see the scantily dressed pirate captain. Well serves him right for thinking a man would be in charge. At least piracy is not a male only career, even if it's not a viable or legal kind of business. "So wait, you have all of this treasure and you wanted to loot a seabound restaurant ship instead of just paying for it, either you are really dumb or are you are the most frivolous pirates I ever have seen," Will said. It was then a big sumo wrestler pirate, a...strange combo, tried to grab Will to smother him in his rolls of fat. Will managed to get out of the way just in time as the large man chuckled. "A small fry like you will be crushed and smothered by my weight, and you sure won't be the last. My fat is a natural armor that protects me from most blows. Not even a bullet or cannonball can pierce through it!" the sumo boasted. As he stopped his feet on the ground, somehow also causing the ship to tilt left and right. Will just calmly walked in front of him. The sumo was surprised but just thought the cat had a death wish. As the sumo went in for another grapple Will delivered one single punch to his gut. Will's arm sinking into the fat as it ripples and the man writhes in pain. After Will gets his arm back out from the fat the sumo stumbles back and falls onto the ground causing the ship to shake.
It was then he saw Konja came in, another strong fighter to join the rest and outnumbering the pirate captain as her pets are turned against her.
"I really don't want to harm a lady so we can do this the easy way and you surrender like my good friend Kiryu suggested, or we can do this the hard way. I maybe not the strongest person in this room right now, but believe me that none of you pirates stand a chance." Will explained. Word Count: 405

For a species which was not born on an overtly ocean world, an non-amputated saiyan was naturally aligned to survive in ocean regions of a world which was overly ocean covered. Just as Cayle had dived to take care of the submarine which they had detected, he had dived through the water like a knife slipping through warm butter, and soon was propelling himself towards the submarine using his tail as a propeller.
As far as detecting the submarine? It wasn't very hard given the way it pushed through the water and given the fact it had what one might consider a non-standard engine. From even this far away, Cayle could feel spiritual energy of an immense size coming from the direction of the submarine.
So the Saiyan would-be warlord pushed himself forward, as rapidly as he could as he thought of how to deal with this submarine without killing all of those whom were upon it. “What would be the best spot to grab it if I was going to try to levy it out of the water? Could I even lift such a thing? Should I come at it from a distance and speed at it as fast as I can?” he thought to himself as he swam through the southern seas after this submarine ship.

Post by Vidar (PROJECT: RAGNAROK) on Aug 11, 2020 9:08:18 GMT -8
The wall of flames had roared angrily over the pirates and when it disappeared, the air wavered before it tapered off and everything returned to relative normalcy; or as normal as it could be when dealing with pirates, giant birds, and cyborgs shooting fire at said pirates... This world was just so... entertaining. Everything outside of the lab was always exciting. There was never a moment of dullness anywhere, at least that is what Vidar had noticed since he left the comforts of his long forgotten underground lab. Now there he stood, atop the railing of a sea bound Taco King restaurant ship, staring down pirates. His black sclera a perfect backdrop for his brightly glowing golden irises that gave off the impression that his eyes were ablaze. His shoulder ports releasing thick clouds of steam that hissed up towards the sky behind him. All in all, he resembled some kind of demon, a supernatural being, of cybernetics and fire, daring the pirates to make another attempt at attacking, all without even saying a word.
They cowered, staring at the cyborg with looks of dread. They were scorched, at least some of them were, and their weapons were tossed to the sea with an orchestra of splashes. Not exactly what Vidar wanted them to do but they had disarmed themselves. So, that was a positive? They did not appear to have anymore fight left in them, not after that dragon's breath attack almost roasted them.
Konja, the dark haired woman he had spoken to earlier, congratulated him on his fight. Could he call this a fight? Well, it technically was a fire fight, in more ways than one, so he accepted the praise.
"Thank you." He leapt down from the railing and began to gather up as many pirates as he could, helping Konja in dragging them across the deck, into the surprisingly empty captain's cabin and tossed them to the floor as he searched for something that he could use to bind them with. He found some rope and with that, he helped Konja restrain them. They would have to wait there for the time being. He and the dark haired saiyan woman left the Captain's cabin and she shut them in with the thick heavy reinforced bulkhead door.
Outside, on the deck, the immense bird was still pecking at the metal hull of the ship, growing more and more irritated at the fact that its beak was doing little to no noticeable damage to the ship's real exterior; as it appeared the aging and old looking wooden exterior was nothing more than a thin veneer, a facade, meant to replicate an aesthetic from an era long ago. Odd for pirates to go through such lengths to look like pirates, or so Vidar thought.
Still, what were these people if they were not pirates? Their ship was a fake, the facade was just that a facade. The only pirates that Vidar had ever known were from the occasional swashbuckler film which was allowed to play inside of the hidden underground bunker - one of the scientists was a fan of the exciting adventures of a certain swashbuckling buccaneer and his band of merry men, or something to that effect. Vidar was not really allowed to watch the movies to their entirety; every time he began to sit down to watch one of the films, he was called away for further testing, further upgrades, or just simply to be put into stasis until the scientists were ready with yet another upgrade. But, with what he did manage to see, he saw the stereotypical image of pirates; these men fit the image, at least in terms of their clothing and general attitude. Their ship, even, fit the mold of what a pirate ship should look like according to the film. But, if the ship's facade was fake, did that mean so were the pirates aboard?
He watched Konja as she headed below deck. Is that where everyone was headed? He did detect a number of different energy levels heading down below deck - including several that he knew from past encounters, as well as several new ki energy signatures? Just how many people did that strange old codger manage to talk into taking on this job, Vidar queried mentally.
He turned away from the captain's cabin, now no longer empty but instead full from one end to the other with grumbling faux pirates, and began to make his way below deck, following all of the other energy signatures that were collecting down there.
Vidar did not know what to expect down below decks, but what he found was not what he was expecting. Once again, the image of pirates that he had in his mind came from the movies which would, rarely, play down in the hidden subterranean lab. None of those movies had a single pirate ship captain which was a woman, and yet, there in front of him, was a woman whom Vidar could only assume was the captain of this fake pirate ship. Her clothing somewhat followed the image of what a pirate looked like, even if it was far too revealing - what was the point of all that exposed flesh? All that did was leave open targets for an opponent to well target.
Perhaps she was a strong and capable leader? That could be a reason why she was the captain. But, why would they accost a Taco King restaurant?
His eyes scanned around the room and he saw quite a horde of treasure. If they had all of this lying about, then why not just go to the restaurant as any other person would and buy their food?
It did not matter either way, really, as they were their current enemies and had to be dealt with. Kiryu was, apparently, playing with a rather large tiger; the beast seemed to have taken a liking to him. Somewhat odd but, Kiryu appeared to have a rather warm air around him that brought others closer to him. Or Vidar assumed.
"Your men are currently captive in your cabin. Surrender is your only course of action that you have left, Captain. I would suggest taking it."

Captain Jewel blushed in frustration to Kiryu’s accusations of her crew’s diets being connected to the darkest themes on the internet, the fact that a teenage boy blurted the first thought in the recesses of his mind only made her feel concerned about the type of upbringing he had, and she stood up from the treasure chest she was sitting on to unsheathe her cutlass. “Watch your filthy mouth boy! We are pirates! The sea is free! And if the ninja chooses not to fully clothe himself or eat...or bathe that is his prerogative!”Shortly after her retort, Kiryu became distracted by the white bengal tiger, in just a matter of seconds when he tamed the wild beast by removing its collar, and coddling it to a domestic submission. “This is my ship and I give the orders around here! Not some teenage boy, a dimwitted red headed teenage girl, and a cat. Oh? There are even more of you?”The purple bangle on her right wrist began to glow from the jewel on the center, she pressed it, and received a hologram message from the remainder of her crew in the submarines. “Captain Jewel of Opar. Tamarind reporting in. The sea king has been released and we caught sight of a saiyan swimming deep in the water.” The footage of Cayle swimming with his tail made her grimace, “Capture him or kill him. It makes no difference to me. Filthy saiyans.”Jewel cut off the transmission, while this incident had no real significance to anyone in particular, perhaps Konja would realize that the Captain was a Tuffle based on her empty remarks. The additional proof was in her disinterest in the crew that was captured who were all human. The whole set up was a ruse from the start, Jewel recruited people to join her pirate adventure, galavanting, and securing treasure for a hidden cause. The sumo, the emancipated ninja, and the exotic animals were of little importance to her. It was the treasure that she needed to secure for her kind. Tiger Lily followed behind Kiryu, observing his abilities to tame the bengal, and figured she could try the same with the albino crocodile which did not hesitate to bite her forearm in one quick motion. While it occupied itself with chewing her arm, she released the collar around its neck, and it transformed upon release into a green haired crocodile reptilian woman. “Ah! I am free!” The green haired woman said through sharpened teeth while still biting the teenage girl and then ceased to bite Ty. “Oh sorry! It’s instinct that I bite when I am morphed into a crocodile. This crazy woman has been experimenting on my kind, so be careful! You do not know what she is capable of--”Another shock collar appeared around the monster woman’s neck with a chain attached to it, she was rendered unconscious by Jewel who attached the collar using a special tuffle tech gun, and retracted the chain one fell swoop dragging the nearly lifeless woman’s body towards the treasure pile. Everything happened so quickly Ty barely had enough time to react to what just transpired and when she could rush over to save the monster woman she hit an invisible force field surrounding the treasure horde, hitting her nose hard enough to bleed, she raised her black fingerless gloves to her face, and a small cry escaped her lips from the injury. “You can’t treat earthlings or animals like this! What you are doing is wrong. You’re a monster.”“Ho ho ho! Easy there squirt, the next time you come near me, I will make your heart stop with an electric shock.” Jewel retorted, “I had enough time playing. One last challenge before I go, coming right up!”In a blink of an eye, Jewel, her monster girl captive, and the pile of treasure disappeared in an instant as she used some kind of teleportation to escape. The reinforced metal door behind Konja sealed shut automatically trapping everyone inside the ship which began to sink on its own, the metal creaked as the pressure increased below the depths of the water, and eventually water began to spill into the hull, the metal shell began to be crushed from the pressure from suddenly sinking to a nearly bottomless sea floor.
