Pilaf Land... Tch, what a waste of space. It was ridiculous how people could voluntarily spend their days wallowing in frivolities. Lilith clicked her tongue and turned her gaze away from the distant coastline. Even as a distant silhouette, the monument of idiocy was grating at her nerves. In fact, she could almost swear she heard carnival music drifting in the wind all the way here. Her mood only soured further. She had come all this way to further her research, not to have her senses assaulted.

After passing a brief greeting to the only person around here who deserved it, the young witch focused on studying the exterior of the temple. Aaand on staying as far away from the peasants as possible. They all reeked of sweat and poverty. Eugh. She pinched her nose and continued her investigation. Tracing a hand against the bricks, she focused her supernatural senses. The magical energies flowing through here were fascinating... She could feel tinges of demonic magic alongside something she didn’t quite recognize. All her findings were quickly scribbled into the midnight black tome she carried around.
With the external investigation done, Lilith was ready to step inside. Preferably before any of the others. With so many meddlers around, she couldn’t expect the beautiful monument to last long. Pilaf Land... what an interesting place. The ways of humans were intriguing... questionable, at times. But it wasn't anything she wasn't afraid to study. It hadn't been long since she'd made her way into the odd place that is Pilaf Land, and adopted this new form. A regular human form. Based on her past experiences, a woman wearing a nun's clothes wandering around a place like this wasn't exactly hard to notice. So, she remained in that same human form, but the articles of clothing she made use of were changed completely. She was the same blonde girl with eyes the color of the sky, although now she wore a jet black hoodie, along with a beige skirt. Simple, yet fashionable. Unique, yet inconspicuous. Her stature was reduced to a more petite size as well, to further blend in with the rest of these pitiful beings. The demon had been walking amongst the more, civilized races of the world for quite some time now, and it just so happens that she had stumbled across a structure. An odd one. It was some random temple. It had an eerie aura about it, and it seemed to radiate with otherworldly energies. What was this place? She stared at the whole things blankly, never having seen much like this before. She was just about to move along before suddenly, the worst possible thing she could've heard caught her ears. A peasant, she says? Who was this girl? This... maggot? She whipped around, only to discover someone that seemed... oddly familiar. Pilaf Land.. -Wait, why the hell is Kite even here? What the hell is this temple? Why did it have this.. weird.. dark.. feeling? Well, whatever. Yeah, this temple was already weird. Why exactly was he here? Not at the temple, because the only reason he's at the temple is because of Ty, but the actual question was, why was he in the Pilaf Land? He's been waiting on his father for like two weeks now and he hasn't even shown up yet, but whatever. He'll deal with the guy later. He ended up on this strange island, with this dark energy engulfing the whole temple. He walked 'round the island for a bit, but something struck him.. which was weird. Wait, what? Why am I hearing voices? Especially since everyone's over there and..

Lilith’s eye twitched. Her frown deepened. Immediately she snapped back. “Who are you calling a dustbin, you worthless harlot?” As she studied the odd woman, a strange sensation haunted the back of her mind. Something about this peasant just felt... off. Familiar, yet not quite. Was this really what a mere mortal felt like...?
Much to the young lady’s growing irritation, another annoyance dared to speak out of turn. She shot a venomous glare at the babbling peasant. “Silence, mongrel. Children shall only speak when spoken to.” Being at least three inches shorter didn’t stop her from looking down on him. Hmph, how dare a farmhand too poor to afford a shirt even address her? She aimed a sharp, accusing point at the buff boy. “You disgust me. Begone.” The sharp command left awkward silence lingering in its wake...
When the fools failed to follow simple orders, the witch finally lost her patience. The chill of wicked magic surrounded her as she started uttering a spell. “Awaken, o’ Tome of Nevermore and share thy secrets...” With a puff of twinkling smoke, a midnight black tome appeared in her grasp. It rose to float by her side. The pages fluttered open as if browsed by invisible hands. Arcane knowledge filled the girl’s mind. Secrets surged through her soul. Mystical runes appeared on her robes. Those who underestimated her would soon come to regret their foolishness.
The caster kept chanting. “From Hell’s heart I summon thee...” She flicked her wand and a spark fell on the ground. It spread rapidly, carving an infernal symbol in the sand. “Come forth, hunter of gods, Fenrir.” With a flash of flames, a towering shadow appeared behind her. A monstrous wolf stomped its paw. Copy's eyes grew narrow. She squinted at the frail lady as yet another insult was spat out at her. The lavender hair, the reddish eyes, the whole... 'magic' aesthetic. It all seemed like something she had heard of before... a question sparked in her eyes, but she refrained from asking it. Instead, at the speed of light, another insult formed in her head. As the demon opened her mouth to speak, a child interrupted. A teenage boy? One without something as regular as a shirt? Odd, Copy must say. Of course, little miss twinkie was the first to reply to his unbearably annoying voice. The command she gave the boy went unanswered, and out of annoyance, the lady prepared herself... for combat. So she was picking a fight was she? Copy remained silent, interested in the boy's response. He had chatted about multiple things over the span of nothing but a few seconds, most impressive... His level of power was nothing to laugh at either, easily trumping her own. But then again, power wasn't a factor. At the ignorant child's request for Copy to back off, the shapeshifter scoffed. "Is that a challenge?Her power began to rise, slowly increasing from the level of strength a regular human would have, to something much more. Her form didn't change, but her facial expression did. A smirk laid upon it, and she glared at that other girl with malicious intent. "What a cute little puppy you have. I hope he likes to play catch..."

With each word Lilith’s glare narrowed further into a squint. Clearly these yokels failed to understand what was good for them. A certain mage’s kind, patient words tried to echo through her mind, but her anger quickly smothered them. No! This disrespect would not stand! She paid little mind to the boy’s boisterous bluster. Even his rising power elicited no reaction aside from a cold question. “Are you done running your mouth, child?” When it came to overwhelming power, she had experienced worse. Far worse... She shook her head at his demands. “Fight you...? No... I am going to make an example out of you.” Her icy tone grew colder. Darker.
“You shall both die as you lived... Insipid and ignorant.”
The young noble flung another venomous barb at the mouthy woman. “Fool. It does not play. It hunts.” Honestly, calling this monster him was too good for it. The fiends she summoned served exactly one purpose. “Fenrir... Kill.” One word was all it took. The monster wolf pounced immediately. Its hungry eyes were first drawn to Kite and it lunged. The massive jaws snapped shut, big enough to chow down an average man’s torso in two bites. Even a seasoned fighter would find the powerful bite immobilizing and painful.
Meanwhile, the witch wasn’t going to leave the fighting to her servant. No, she would pay back these insults personally. A deep, calming breath sharpened her focus. She brought her hands together, as if joining them for a prayer. But what came from her lips was something else entirely... “Cry and collapse as your cursed body betrays you...” As she spoke the ominous spell, violet sparks engulfed her hands. Would she ever stop blabbering? That was the question that went through Kite's mind at the exact moment. It seemed as if the blonde haired girl was wanted to fight also, so.. what to do but to roll with it. "Well girl, if you want to fight then.. it's up to you. Go ahead. And you.."He said, referring to Lilith. "... Please.. Shut up."As she ordered her summoned creature to attack Kite, he took a defensive stance, as he came rushing at him. He was somehow able to sidestep this wolfman, and seriously.. he was annoying already. Kite wanted hit him so badly, but.. he just didn't feel like it at this point. He came here to teach this missy over here a lesson. As he was about to speak, a sudden lightning bolt came at him, striking him in the chest. As he took the blow, he could feel his ki pool being slightly disrupted.. only slightly. "You dare to call me ignorant?! Mmph.. you'll see who's stupid once I crush you. This woman was cocky. Very cocky. As if the boy and the shapeshifter were nothing more than two insignificant flies that had alighted on her nose, causing annoyance to rise. The eldest of the three smirked. Copy liked that in a victim. Not only would she have fun tearing the witch to pieces, but she would also be able to further her goal: eliminating the evil in this world. Clearly, this girl wasn't the nicest of people, and if she was going to attack someone for simply defending themselves verbally, that train of thought needed to be corrected and set on the correct path. The wolf had lunged forward, attacking the little boy that had interrupted the two ladies. Although, of course Copy didn't expect to be left alone. Her words dropped out of her mouth, and the demon prepared herself. Dark magic? Yes, this was dark magic. It was a rather interesting feeling. She'd never fought an actual magic user before. They didn't seem much different than regular warriors when it came to utilizing energy, although, this magic... felt completely different than anything else she'd ever felt before. While in thought, the very same spell that the little woman had been preparing was fired at her and the teen. It struck the teen, but Copy managed to avoid it, narrowly.it struck the ground behind her, and an obvious grin emerged on her facial features. "Interesting. I think I'll try that out as well."As she was speaking, her whole body began to shift and change. Her stature shrunk even more, her hair began to change color, and her facial features made the appropriate changes. The witch would now be looking at a doppelganger, a near perfect copy of her. It smirked evilly, as Copy clasped her hands in the same way that Lilith did before, essentially creating a mirror of what had just happened. "May you understand the error of your ways as your frail form collapses."A single purple spark burst out of her outstretched hand, targetting the little woman. Her eyes darted over to the boy, the very same one who would supposedly teach the lavender haired one a lesson. Copy scoffed. Pathetic. Did this one really believe that he could do that through any means? Copy, still in the shape of Lilith, dashed towards him, attempting to shoulder block him down to the ground even with her small stature. Whether she was successful or not, she jump backwards a few feet, creating a bit of distance between the two. She gave him a verbal warning, to not stand in her way. "As for you, I'd suggest you let me handle this. You may think that you're stronger than the two of us, but you are very incorrect and incompetent. Let me deal with the woman, she is my treat and no one else's. Leave at once. Otherwise..."Her aura burst around her Lilith form, as if to further emphasize her point. Her power increased to it's full extent, and she balled up her tiny hands into fists. "You'll be joining this woman in the beatdown I'm going to dish out."

Against all common sense, the two peasants weren’t even phased by the powerful curse. Stranger yet, the mouthy harlot’s body started shifting. Lilith’s icy composure cracked from the sheer surprise when she realized she was staring at herself. All of a sudden the imaginary puzzle pieces fell into place. This transformation... And the odd energy... The picture was finally clear. “Wait... I know what you are...” How unusual to see a doppelganger demon in the land of the living, much less one with any substantial power. Hm, studying it might prove intriguing... She simply had to break it first. In mind and body.
When the inevitable counter-attack came, Lilith closed her eyes and didn’t budge. Both the energy blast and the mimicked curse hit her directly. Yet on the impact, her figure shattered into countless shards that faded with a twinkle of magic. As the dust settled, her real body was barely a couple of steps to the side. “Did you enjoy your fleeting dream?” However, she couldn’t even finish her taunt properly when a painful cough clawed at her lungs. Red droplets fell on the sand. Crippling agony coursed through her veins. Her toxic glare focused on the facsimile. Curse that arrogant copycat... How dare she turn her own spell against her? She would pay for this...
Quickly the noble donned her cold mask again. Smugly she brushed some stray strands of hair behind her ear. “Pathetic... A foolish yokel and a pale imitation cannot hold a candle to me.” Her focus faltered when she made the mistake of listening to the two fools prattle. Girl this, woman that... The young noble had heard just about enough. Her eyes flickered open. “That is Lady Nevermore to you, peasants.” Venom dripped from her words. They would learn to fear her soon enough, she swore it.
The witch aimed a sharp point at the shirtless boy. Fenrir needed no other instructions as it lunged again. What in the world was that? A.. doppelganger? Well, whatever she was, Kite didn't even care.. because he didn't know what it was. All that came to his mind was 'Demon.. Shapeshifting Demon'. Demons are bad, right? He watched as Copy shapeshifted into his other opponent, Lilith, and once she literally mimicked what she just did, Kite.. couldn't even believe his eyes. He eyes widened just looking at what happened a few seconds ago, and he got back to his senses once he saw fake Lilith charging at him. She was extremely fast.. so fast that he didn't even get the chance to guard. Her shoulder was pummeled straight into his chest, and he tried to tense up his muscles. But for some reason.. he could've felt the pain still piercing through his torso. Once she bounced away from him, and ignited her aura, she threatened him to leave, or else she would have to deal with them both. "First of all.. after what I just saw, that's an absolute no no. I'm not leaving. I'm taking you out, you demon! I can't have you lurking around the area like it's ok. It's not. I won't allow you to hurt anyone."He said this.. in self defense. He wouldn't let this thing leave his sight. Not even once. Hell, this shapeshifting specie could be suppressing. As for that Fenrir puppet, he was getting on Kite's nerves. He charged at him again, attempting to bite the teenager, in which Kite sidestepped. "Step off!"Suddenly, below him, he saw this shadow which emerged from the ground that engulfed him, causing him to not see what was happening around him for about two seconds. He stretched his arms apart, and the darkness dissapated, reveiling Kite's angry expression. He was pissed now.. really pissed. "I'm done with your games, missy. I'm taking you both down, especially you whatever you are.. some demon.. but whatever. You're all weak, and it wouldn't take long to take you both out on my own."
That said, he raised his arm in front him, and a white ki blast emerged from his palm. As he fired it at Lilith, it took the form of a dragon's head. She should sustain some slight amount of burns if this ends up hitting. He wouldn't have left the demon hanging around like that. He raised the opposite arm, aiming it at her, firing a white ki blast. It shouldn't hurt, but it should at least disrupt her ki flow for a small period of time. Copy merely shook her head at the boy's refusal. Even with his tremendous base power, he really was nothing when compared to someone as skilled as she was. Her now red eyes narrowed, now looking even more like the woman she had taken the form of. "Tsk, tsk. If you're going to be like that... Hold that thought.The other woman that took part in the fight that ensued, spoke her own name. A name that would instantly trigger a memory in the shapeshifter's mind. Could it be that same clan she'd heard about all those years ago? Copy was quite the elder, but the sound of this name... it had to be the same one... the magic had to be a dead giveaway. But... weren't they all eradicated? That couldn't be true, because there stood a Nevermore right before her eyes! Copy's eyebrows furrowed as she studied the tiny lady. A bit too intently. The shadow that had erupted from the ground had missed Copy by a hairsbreadth as the doppelganger of the witch backflipped, landing gracefully and narrowly avoiding being caught within the jaws of that overwhelming darkness. The words of the boy was nothing but childish banter to her, and her eyes only glanced at the teenager. Luckily, she had glanced right when a burst of energy spiralled towards her. It struck her in the chest, and she slid a foot across the floor of the earth to maintain balance. Her expression now wore a frown as she stole a look at the Nevermore again. She couldn't keep quiet about this. "Nevermore, you say? I believe I've heard of your clan before. However, I must say, you should have all been eradicated."Her frown turned upside down, literally, and Copy's face was now a smiling Lilith, incredibly out of place and unnatural to see indeed. She was against killing anyone without providing them with a chance first, no matter their alignment or tendencies. So instead, she'd convert this little lady. To forget about the unrighteousness that is the Nevermore clan. "They were criminals, and good for nothing people overall. If anything, I should end your life right here and now. But I will not. Because if I were to do that, I'd be violating my own principles. So instead, I'll knock you around a little. And maybe tell you a little story about what I do to wrong doers."Raising two hands, white energy gathered in the palms of them both. Her shape began to shift and change again, now taking the form of the boy. The energy blasts fired, one aimed at Kite, the other aimed at Lilith, and they looked exactly like the one the teen had fired moments earlier.

The witch clicked her tongue when both foes avoided the jaws of darkness. “Tch...” She knew her curses would bring them down within moments, but they were just too slippery... As the foes returned fire, she quickly swiped her hand. Fenrir twitched and got yanked backwards like a puppet dangling from strings. It landed right in the harm’s way, taking both blasts with its iron hide. The wind howled. Enormous explosions shook the beach. However, they were too powerful even for a monster to handle. With a pained yelp and flash of flames, the fiend returned back where it came from. The caster suffered from the shock wave, barely staying on her feet.
As the dust slowly settled, the young noble coughed weakly. More red droplets painted her palm. Things... were getting bad... She was already hurt. Furthermore, after casting so many spells in quick succession, her reserves were running low. The sensible thing was to take a step back, calm down and come up with a plan. ...Unfortunately her common sense suddenly drowned beneath the echo of the doppelganger’s words. The fool insulted not only her, but her entire noble heritage. Her eyes widened. Pupils shrank to mere pinpricks. “You worthless maggot... Do not dare to sully my family name that way...” A hateful hiss passed her sharp teeth as they gnashed together. Quickly it evolved into a threatening growl.

Kite didn't even know what was happening after that, other than that 'copycat' disrespecting Lilith. He wasn't even paying attention to their little personal problem, but once Copy literally shapeshifted into him and, copied exactly what he just did, he was furious. The dragon headed blast came at him at an amazing speed, but he managed to cross his arms just in time. It seemed as if she didn't copy his technique perfectly, as he couldn't feel the slight burn that it would normally inflict. "You son of a..! Damn you! How dare you copy me?! I'll make you pay, demon! You didn't think that I'd be beaten with my own attack, because if you did, you're wrong! You.. you're over here stealing people's identity. I won't let you go through with it! And you.. "Again, referring to Lilith. ".. please. Guess what? If she's a maggot, then you're a sewer rat. Now, will you please shut up?!"
Immediately, he saw the flames surrounding him, the heat rising and he started to sweat profusely. He covered his face for most of the time standing there, and stayed aware while he did so. In order to see if anyone would attack him off guard, he sensed the ki signatures around him. As he felt the flames seeping under his feet, he couldn't even bare it for a single second. "Ouch! Damn you! I'm going to kill you once this clears up."
It was getting hot, and he was trying not to get burnt, as he stood on his toe, and lifted his each leg one after the other with every second he got. Finally, the torment was over, and Kite's expression wasn't exactly.. pleasing. "Consider yourselves dead."Immediately, he raised both his arms, and a white ki blast emerged from both of his palms. After charging them both for quite a bit of time, he fired them both, one at Copy, and the other at Lilith. Hmm. Both of the shapeshifter's opponents had dealt with her offense rather easily. With Lilith sacrificing her little pet puppy in order to shield herself from the dragon head that had flown at her, while Kite dealt with the attack the way most hardened warriors do. Make contact with it head on. The boy's shouts were expected, and the second Kite, who was in fact Copy, rolled his, well, her eyes. It was actually ironic and pathetic. This teenage boy was trying to discipline her, a battle hardened shapeshifting demon with more experience than he could ever dream to achieve. Who was he to tell her off? Especially since it seemed as if he couldn't control his own anger. At every minor inconvenience he lashed out at both the demon and Nevermore, contradicting himself in Copy's eyes. The witch wasn't any different, as almost every bit of dialogue that fell from her mouth contained an insult. Copy cocked her head. There was work to be done, and clearly, some discipline was heavily needed. Kite's doppelganger turned to Lilith, who seemed to have been shaken by Copy's former words. Her voice brimmed with malice... and hatred. Interesting. She performed a spell, a spell that sent burning hot fire travelling across the beach, instantly turning even the sand beneath their feet into glass. An onyx shield formed in Copy's muscular right hand, and she put it directly in front of her. The fiery energy slammed against the makeshift energy shield, and some even spilled over and unleashed its wrath on bits of her current form. The Kite copy grit it's teeth, until the fire had finally ceased. The black ki dissipated into nothing, revealing a slightly scuffed Kite. There were burns on the chiseled arms of her form, but they disappeared as quickly as they appeared. Copy smiled, until she suddenly felt... empty... the burning toxicity of the flames still had an effect on her, and slowly ate away at her. She clutched the six pack her form possessed, and grit her teeth. "Argh, I see... dark magic."She forced a smile. "You should be a fun opponent."The energy blast sent at her was regarded by Copy immediately as she whipped around, and slapped away the colorless energy. It hit the undisturbed ground to the side of the battle, and Copy changed her form once again. Finally, she showed them her favorite form. She took the shape of a simple nun, with blonde hair and sky blue eyes, in addition to the traditional and stereotypical attire of a nun. Classic Copy. "I hope you both know you have no way out of this."Black ki gathered in her two palms to form two orbs the size of basketballs. She reared one arm back, and chucked the one in her right hand at the boy. It charged forth, and took the shape of a dragon's head, much like his last attack, except this one... was onyx colored. The second one was tossed at the tiny lady in a similar fashion, and it took the same shape her first attack did.
