Copy's fist collided roughly with the boy's, disturbing the sand and snow that they stood upon. A burst of air erupted from the impact of the two fists, and as soon as the shapeshifter's fist was retracted, it shrunk back to it's normal size. She had jumped backwards after delivering the punch, landing directly on the flats of her hands before righting herself in a backflip, now landing gracefully on her feet. The shadow that crept creepily towards Kite had produced tendrils that dripped with a black liquid, and Copy took a glance at the witch. Her voice trembled with anger, and the volume of it increased as her fists balled up. The child was screaming too, and before long, he had broken free with a burst of his energy. It would seem as if her two opponents were filled with more rage than they were before. Things like this is why Copy dislikes humans. They're so picky and easy to succumb to their own rage. It was a fight after all, what exactly do you think is going to happen? Surely, you couldn't go about your life thinking that you'll emerge victorious in every confrontation you are a part of? It was counter productive, it showed weakness, and it was proof that one had no desire to learn, to improve, to become better. It was upsetting really. Once she corrects the wrongs of the demon race, these pitiful humans would be next. There weren't many humans that Copy was a fan of, and these two weren't doing a good job of improving the demon's outlook on humanity as a whole. She shook her head, then immediately caught sight of a colorless orb of energy flying directly towards her midsection. Utilizing her ability to shapeshift once more, a large hole appeared in her stomach. The ki blast flew straight through the hole that Copy had created. The demon smirked. Without as much as a word, she jumped at Kite, and thrust an arm towards his face. Her fingers would be first to go, and two of them were shoved directly into the two eyes of the little teenager. It didn't matter if she was successful or not in poking out his eyes, as she would charge past him to reach the witch. While she may have avoided melee punishment from Copy so far, surely she didn't have the reflexes to avoid this. Nevermore would receive the same treatment as Kite did, as two fingers were thrust into her eyes as well. With a laugh, Copy had charged past the witch as the momentum of the thrust forced her to. She raised her two fists, staring at the two, assuming a classic boxing stance.

Anger was the first step to defeat. ...The witch smugly thought while conveniently ignoring any sense of hypocrisy. Her spell may have failed to blind the boy, but it clearly affected him. Finally she had gotten through that thick skull. Her next attempt would be far more literal... She scoffed at his howling. “Bark all you like, mongrel. You have neither the power nor the skill to end anything, least of all me.” Such shouting was empty bravado and nothing more, the last growl of a cornered dog. Her confidence wasn’t unfounded either. All this time she had been conserving certain protective spells... Insurance against unexpected and dangerous twists.

Lilith’s eyes widened when the demon closed the gap in a blur. As the foe expected, her reflexes couldn’t keep up with the sheer speed. The fingers stabbed into her eyes like twin daggers. Her head jerked back with a spray of crimson. A cry got stuck in her throat as she fell backwards. ...Until her form shattered like glass and faded away. Soon a familiar scoff came from further away. “Hmph, did you enjoy your little fleeting dream? As if you could even lay a finger on me.” She appeared utterly unharmed. However, beneath the cold mask she cursed her carelessness. She couldn’t believe she had been forced to spend one of her protections against a mere demon. How humiliating...
Pushing the silent annoyance aside, the caster shifted her focus back onto the boy. She aimed her hand at him, as if grasping the air. “I call forth the power of a sinister heritage...” A faintly visible vortex started swirling in the air. “Vampiric Hex.” Suddenly there was a powerful pull, tugging not the foe’s body but his very life energy. Resembling green wisps, the drained power drawn to the girl. Slowly her dripping wounds started closing... Her energy flared as well, feeding off of the ambient ki. Buuut the question remained... Lilith was really getting on Kite's nerves at this point. It's as if she doesn't know when to stop. He was pretty much trying to intimidate her, but it was no good. She kept on blabbering about him being a dog, and instead of saying that he's talking, she said that he was 'barking'. What kind of disrespect was that? That just simply added on to his anger that has already reached its peak. Even after that Dragon Blast was totally avoided by Copy, he just got more frustrated. This demon had the gaul.. the audacity to poke Kite in the eyes. How.. dare she?! Kite cried in agony, and fell to the ground, covering his eyes. He just went berserk after that. He started to hold the side of his head, as he tried to open his eyes. "Agh! You.. You little b-bitch!"
Immediately, he got up and his aura enveloped his form, dancing around him more violently than before. He started panting while his eyes were still shut, and it was painful. "I'm going to kill you! I'll make you pay for that! HAAA!"He just couldn't take it anymore, and that also included Lilith. Feeling her ki signature, he turned in that direction, and said "You little piece of shit! You scumbag! You're a damn weakling asking for a feat wish, and I'm going to give you what you want.. you asked for it!"
Not wasting a second, he raised his arm in that same direction, charging up a white ki blast, and fired it in the direction of Lilith. Hoping it would hit, he turned to where he thought he sensed that demon's ki signature. "Oh, you'll regret doing that. I PROMISE YOU THAT! I swear, once I get my eyes open, I'm going to pulverise you!"

Kite fell to the ground like a hunk of meat, slamming into the snowy floor roughly, crying out in pain. No one blames him, considering the fact that Copy had specifically gone out of her way to aim directly for his eye sockets. She was scarily accurate with Lilith as well, and her laugh wafted lazily into the air as she leapt back, however..... Lilith wasn't harmed in reality. The woman who's eyes had just been gouged out had... broken up into several pieces, as if it were a simple statue of glass. The glassy shards faded away, and a voice that Copy was just about tired of hearing was stalking forward behind her. The demon whipped around, a brow raised. The words that fell from the witch's mouth were as familiar as the woman who possessed said mouth. Copy really was tired of hearing it. Out of sheer curiosity, Copy had to ask, "Must you always repeat your phrases to cast your spells? I'm not too experienced when it comes to magic."There weren't many demons that Copy had met that utilized magic instead of pure energy. The feeling of energy felt much more... pure to her physically than the magic that continued to fly at her. But then again, could it simply be the type of magic? That is, if different types exist. She was still looking at Lady Nevermore when she heard the boy start to scream bloody murder. His threats were not entirely empty, and he seemed..... angry. Of course, that was to be expected. If someone somehow managed to stab out Copy's eyes, she'd be pretty pissed too. The energy blast that he sent flying in her direction was incredibly quick, and powerful. It slammed into Copy, and she simple couldn't make any attempt to guard against it. She was struck cleanly, and she performed a backflip in order to avoid falling on her back. Her vision blurred for a few moments as the burning pain made itself known. She groaned. Now then, it looks as if she'll have to pay him back now, doesn't it? She closed her right hand, and once again it was a fist. As she did so, her form changed once again, this time, into a certain demon that she still hadn't forgotten. Short hair that was the color of lime lay atop of her head, crimson red eyes glowed eerily above a sharp smile and a straight nose. A simple white and plaid red dress and outfit finished the look. This was the first demon to truly give Copy a challenge. This... was Misaki Kazamiya, an ordinary gardener. Without the parasol. The doppelganger of the gardener picked up the pace, reaching speeds far beyond that of the average demon. Pulling back the fist, she thrusted it forward once she was within Kite's range, aiming for his six pack.

The witch rolled her eyes and lifted her hand against the incoming white blast. “Shield of Shadows.” Her shadow obeyed the command immediately, stretching from beneath her and solidifying into an ornate shield. The blast exploded it against it, barely scratching her. “Pathetic.” While her earlier spell hadn’t been potent enough to actually hurt the fool, it was still serving its purpose. Thanks to the vampiric energy coursing through her veins, she was healed enough to taunt him. “I already told you that it’s useless. Are you deaf or simply stupid?” Or perhaps both. Hm, most likely both. It would explain a lot, actually.
Before Lilith could fling more insults, the demon’s curious question stopped her. She tried to seem reluctant, buuut the eagerness to talk about her favorite topic shined in her crimson eye. “Well, since you asked...” Besides, it was only normal for an expert to teach others, no? Being ignorant wasn’t a crime, but remaining ignorant should have been. She puffed her chest proudly. “Yes, I must. Each spell has a phrase of power associated with it. Humans can only cast true magic through vocal incantations.” After a brief pause, her proud posture deflated. “...One exception notwithstanding.” The quiet mutter slipped quickly past her lips. That man was a freak of nature, so honestly he didn’t even count.
Brushing the distracting thoughts aside, the young noble shook her head. As much as she enjoyed discussing the intricacies of magic, even with an enemy, this was neither the time nor the place... This fight has been long, but not tedious. Mostly annoying. He didn't even know if the attacks that he threw landed, well.. not until he heard Copy groaning. He didn't hear any signs of pain from Lilith. Mmph, she must have managed to avoid that attack with that 'Shields of Shadow' thing. Kite was still flaring up with anger, and it was very much visible on his face, and he still couldn't get his eyes to open. Was she asking him if he was dead or pathetic? It seems so. "I'd want to ask you the same question.. you dumbass. Your attacks are so pathetic."When Kite heard Lilith repeating that sentence with 'Fleeting Dream' it was actually annoying. He was sure that when he watched the television, magic users didn't repeat a line as much as Lilith does. It wasn't surprising when Copy asked Lilith that question about the same matter. "It's her dumbass catch phrase, that's what it is."When he said this, something struck him. It was about time he stopped blabbering. His anger took him over again, and it's the exact reason why he's blabbering so much. This was one of the reasons why Cayle gave him such a beating, and he knew that. He just finds it hard to admit. His pride was something that made it so hard. He wasn't going to apologize to Copy and Lilith, at least not yet. Not long after, he felt Copy's ki signature rushing at him. He quickly dashed to the side, igniting his aura, charging his ki at the same time. Once he landed, his aura dissipated. Suddenly, the area began to get a little heated, and soon enough, the fire from Lilith's spell engulfed the teenager. This was somewhat like Luther's attack in that fight between Riku and that unknown man that was super strong. Kitee felt the heat coming towards him, and he crossed his arms. The sweat began to run from his pores profusely, and his eyes were still closed, nevertheless. Once the attack was over, the sweat glistened on his body, showing his muscular physique. "Mmph. Were you trying to kill me or what?"He said, jokingly. "I'm actually surprised that you managed to avoid that ki blast, miss?"He said, as he tried to learn the petite woman's name. "But, you won't be so lucky this time."
He said, when a wicked smirk appeared on his face. This was actually a bit fun. He raised both of his arms in front of him, charging up two white coloured ki blasts, each aimed at his opponents. He fired it without much care in the world that it would land or hit. Well, at least not yet. Once his eyes would finally open, he would deal with that demon in the way he desires. Damn, the shapeshifter had managed to miss the form of Kite once again with her attack. The boy seemed to at least somewhat know what he was doing when it came to combat, but that doesn't exactly redeem him. He then asked if Copy was trying to kill him. What, was he daft? Copy blinked at him. Several times. Rose her eyebrows too, even. Either way, Copy gave the lady witch a sideways glance as she explained the concept of magic. It seems as if the lady had momentarily dropped the apparent hatred and resentment that she harboured for the demon, offering a short, to the point, and blunt explanation of magic. Well, it was plausible enough. She silently questioned the existence of this... 'exception' that Nevermore had described. Was it truly possible to bend the very laws of a supernatural concept such as magic? Maybe it was. She might have to look into it later. As Copy was thinking on the matter, the witch attacked Kite once more, with the boy returning with a vengeance. His blind and tasteless insults were getting rather stale in the demon's eardrums. At this point, she may even consider providing him with special treatment. But enough of that, the boy was firing a burst of energy at her! Copy swung her arms in a diagonal motion, slapping away the attack as forcefully as was possible. The energy slammed into the snow at her side, and formed a minor crater in the white floor. She would then jump at the boy again, this time flying at him feet first, thrusting out a leg in order to slam the bottom of her makeshift shoe against his cheek. Whether she succeeded or failed, she would land gracefully on the ground, and send a punch at the boy's stomach once again.

As the flames failed to produce results, the witch squinted suspiciously. That should have done serious damage... Critical amounts of it... And yet, the boy brushed it off without a care. How annoying. Briefly the memories from her previous battles flashed before her eyes. Would she fall again...? Her sharp teeth gritted together. ...No, not against a mere child. Especially not against this child. “Tch, that is it. I have had enough of this.” They left her no choice. There was only one more spell left she could use...
Arcane power surged around Lilith. She started another incantation. “Through time and space in a single step...” However, yet another blast came her way fast. A lethal explosion clawed a scorched crater in the sand. As the dust settled, there wasn’t even a scrap of robes left of the young lady... Gone in an instant. One could almost imagine her cold voice still drifting in the wind. “You are both idiots and this squabble has been a giant waste of my time.” ...Yeah, exactly like that.
At this point it should have surprised no one that the clever girl had once again avoided certain death. She was pretty good at that. Faster than any creature could naturally move, she had crossed the distance and appeared at the very entrance of the temple. She needed a deep breath before she could continue chiding the two annoyances. “I have a literal million better things to do than to argue with a caveman and a faceless monster.” Silently she swore that the day she regained her rightful position in the world, these two would be the second and third to die.
“Pray that you never cross my path again...”
With that, the witch turned away and promptly strutted into the temple. She kept her pride in check by reminding herself that this wasn’t running away (yes, it was), but rather a much needed shift in focus. This temple had been her goal all along and how she had gotten so distracted was something of a mystery. Hmph, well, no matter. She left? Hm, ok. That wasn't a surprise. As much as Kite was caught up in this whole fight, she forgot why exactly he ended up on this island. It might be the same purpose as Lilith. Maybe! Maybe not! He didn't even get to see the expression on Copy's face when he stated that 'Lilith was trying to kill him'. Obviously, he was kidding. Yeah, he says some dumb stuff sometimes, and ninety percent of the time it's when he's angry. When his eyes finally decided to open, he saw Lilith vanish in front of his eyes. He looked at the small crater that the blast created, and Copy swinging her leg at his cheek. He simply caught her leg and held it for a few moments, until he decided to release it. "Well, well, well.. what do you know?.. She left."Hm, now he didn't even get the chance to apologize. It would be rather obvious at this point that she would think ill of Kite forever most likely. Copy was still here though, and why waste the opportunity, even though there was a high chance of Copy just not caring at all. Instead of attacking, he folded his arms across his chest, saying "So uhh.. I didn't quite catch the name uhh.. was it again? I.. I just want you to know that I have a problem, ok? I.. don't want you to think that I'm just some random kid that doesn't have a life. Since Miss Nevermore? Yeah, I think that's her name. Since she left, I'm guessing that it's my time to leave. I wasn't here to fight anyone in the first place anyways. I was just here to check out why some of my friends were here. See ya, I guess." With that said, he left the demon by herself, and went to the entrance of the temple. Before he entered, he tried to sense the ki of Ty, Cayle and the others.. but there was no sign of them. He just felt Lilith's ki getting fainter and fainter. He didn't see the reason to waste anymore time, so he entered. As he went further, his ki became hidden to the outside world. WC: 369 | 452
