Capsule Corp twenty four hour unisex spa brings along people from around the world to share the rejuvination experience at an affordable price compared to the private pod facilities in a communal bath setting. While the common areas are shared the baths themselves are separated by gender. This top of the line facility is equipped with hot, cold, clay, ice, medicinal tea, and most importantly pill infused rooms. The treatments were enough to bring Juniper over from the Western Lands, wondering how a miraculous it was compared to her mysticism, and she went through all the requirements implored by the staff to do in a certain order. Step one was to put her shoes in a locker that had been assigned to her using a wristlet keyfob and to use the slippers inside. The same fob was used for a bigger locker to change out of her clothes and into a fluffy robe. Step three required she take a complete soapy shower otherwise elicit the assistance of staff standing by to get deep scrub followed by a full pill soak if needed. Juniper decided to do all of it, including the deep scrub, which was painful and not what she imagined it would be given that the brush that was used on her skin felt akin to acupuncture. The pill bath immediately restored the condition of her bare skin; it was no wonder the staff woman was so rough in the first place to prove their miracle solution. After a quick recovery she went back to the locker room with a new robe to wander the facility in. Only the baths were independent by gender as the other speciality rooms were co-shared including the sauna room. The common area room had heated tatami mat flooring people were sleeping in, shelling hard boiled eggs that were cooked in the sea salt sauna room, and others were watching the tv sets hanging from the ceilings. Apart from the eggs, there was a full restaurant to order from, using the fob to charge up every transaction with staff including the deep scrub Juni suffered through. Based on the prices listed, she had to use her credit card to pay for everything, given that the alms she collected for her mystic services would never foot the bill here. Utilizing her charms, the Tea Princess casually asked people about their experience of the spa, and it was only when she brought up her mystic abilities did everyone begin to avoid her. It seemed what she believed in was out of the ordinary for those who strongly believed in the science of Capsule Corp. Of course, she held no proof of her abilities, unless she had someone who was wounded for her to heal. Juni pouted as she was no longer able to hold a conversation with anyone and she wanted to retreat to the sea salt sauna but ended up lying on the tatami mat instead placing an order for a full pot of tea as she leaned against a large pumice stone that was in the center of the room. Despite how heavy it looked, the volcanic rock slid across the tatami mat with ease, and she bonked her head with a thud. Anyone nearby laughed but were scurried away at the floating black octopus that shifted its tentacles at people to go away. “Hachi, that is the opposite of what I am trying to do here, and I told you to wait for me outside how did you even sneak in here?” Juni sat back up as she sighed, frustrated over her failed research of the spa, she kicked off her slippers and crossed her arms for a minute until a tray with her tea pot was brought over which made her smile. “I am still excited to taste this medicinal tea…” [651] Beruto Fenrir

It had been an exhausting few days on the road. Beruto and Kite were supposed to have gone to Central City and instead had found themselves in the wrong country entirely. They had stopped in of all places, Orange Star City, ostensibly to get directions, but ended up staying a day for a thoroughly tiring televised martial arts training program. By the time they were back on the road again, Beruto had to return to his job. He had only arranged to have a few days off and they had burned through most of them in getting lost. This unfortunately meant that they no longer had time to lay over in Central City and visit with Cade, they had to go strait back to West city. Two more days on the road though didn't help the exhausted boys, Beruto in particular had aches in places he didn't even know it was possible to hurt. With another day's travel ahead of them before they were home, though home was a relative term for the red headed boy since he lived in the vehicle, Beruto wanted to get some proper rest before the last leg of the trip. That evening he poked about on the interweb and managed to locate an interesting looking spa on their route and decided to stop off there for the night instead of at the camp ground he had originally planned to stop at.
The sun was setting when the Eagle Five rolled into the spa parking lot. Kite was fast asleep in the back and hadn't expressed the same interest in getting a massage and hot soak as Beruto did, so the red headed teenager left the other boy to sleep. Climbing out of the RV, Beruto walked across the parking lot to the swanky looking establishment and entered through the front doors into the lobby. To tell the truth, Beruto wasn't expecting something THIS swanky, but there he was, standing in the ridiculously well appointed lobby, his shirtless, athletic features suddenly seeming out of place. Indeed, people were milling about in adjoining rooms in bath robes, not the swimming trunks the boy would have expected.
“Errr, excuse me miss.” he introduced himself to the secretary on station. “Uh, I'd like to check in for a massage and maybe a dip in a hot tub or something.”
“Ofcaws honey. Let me jawst get you signed in here.” the woman replied in an unexpectedly, over the top accent, her historically out of date glasses nearly sliding off of her nose as she looked down at her computer terminal.
Before the boy knew it he was being whisked along to a locker room to change into one of those silly fluffy robes. Well of course he wasn't going to let them cover his magnificent form and so tied the robe around his waist and then shrugged off the top half, letting it hang from the rope belt. The staff were a little put off by the red headed teen's insistence on not wearing anything above the waist, but after a few failed attempts as cajoling the boy into line, one of which was answered by the threat of a broken nose, Beruto was finally left to wander the spa in his half a robe while the staff located a sufficiently robust masseur for him. His wandering eventually took him to a room, like many of the others, though this one had a heated floor and was quickly being vacated by everyone in it except for a girl laying against a large, spongy looking rock, which appeared to have slid out of it's intended position on the floor.
“Huh... Wonder what's bothering them. Must have been called as a group for someth... What the hell is that?!” Beruto was idly speculating until he set eyes on the octopus in the room. It was one thing to have a figurative elephant in the room, but this was just plain ridiculous.

Fenrir walked. It was really all he could do, walk. He didn't have the money for a car, let alone one of those large RVs that he saw, multiple times, pass by him as he walked on the side of the road. He didn't really mind walking, it allowed him the chance to take in the scenery at a more leisurely pace, allowed him to breathe in the scents of the world around him, the flowers, the grass, and it allowed him to do so in a relaxed pace. He could stop whenever he wanted. He didn't have to fill a tank with gas. He also didn't have to worry about his well toned ass falling asleep after sitting in a car seat for hours at a time. Instead, all he had to worry about is the possible chance of rain.
So, he walked. He had plenty of energy, plenty of time. That was one thing that the light blue haired man with bright scarlet red eyes had plenty of, time. While he wasn't exactly getting any younger, he also wasn't exactly getting any older; at least, physically, he was not aging. Chronologically speaking, everyone and everything got older; one minute older, one hour older, one day, one week, one month, or one year older. Time continued to march on. It waited for no one.
He had walked for quite some time and while he was not tired, nor was he aching anywhere, he would really have wanted nothing more than to sit, rest, relax, and take a breather. The chance came, rather simply, in the form of a flyer.
It was thrust into his hand by a young man; the man had bright eyes, onyx black hair, and a toned physique. He had on a baseball cap, a simple t-shirt, and jeans. The t-shirt had a logo on the sleeve, CAPSULE CORP, the CC logo was also branded on the shirt's front left breast pocket.
The young man spotted Fenrir, walking along his merry way, whistling to himself, and clad in his usual attire; the red leather clothing that most people knew and would know him for, the red leather jacket with fluff lining the collar, and his boots.
"Sir, sir, take one of these if you would," The young man ran over to Fenrir, catching his attention. He turned to look at the young man, a fox-like grin crossing his features.
"Oh? What am I taking?" He tapped his chin somewhat, inquisitively, as the young man held the flyer out to him as well as a business card, although it did not appear to have his name on it rather the info for some kind of hot spring from the look of it.
"Here you go, sir." The young man spoke, politely, up at him as he held the papers out.
"Oh? Well, you are a cute one," his grin grew, "giving me your phone number like that; I've barely just met you and don't know your name, but you look adorable so I may let that slide. Do you want to go have some fun?" He all but leaned in close to the young man whose face grew bright red and he thrust the flyer into Fenrir's hand.
"H-here, it's a flyer for a hot spring. My employer told me to hand them out." He attempted to explain, sputtering the words out before he turned and walked away with a face redder than a fresh steamed lobster.
The flyer was detailed; it told him the location to the spring, who owned it, the prices, the services, and as he read it over he felt a slight ache in his lower back; as if his body were giving him a reason to head to that hot spring, for a day of rest and relaxation.
Finding the hot spring was relatively easy, and once he arrived, he entered the place with the swagger of a man who had the deed to the place; his eyes swept from one place to another, he rubbed his chin, curious, and as soon as he was inside, he was approached by a small woman. She had white hair, appeared to be in her mid to late fifties, and wore glasses. “Welcome, come this way,” she had him follow her, the woman’s eyes tracing over the man’s front, his half exposed chest, his well defined abdominals, and the fact that his pants were just shy of legal above the crotch.
As he followed her, she explained the hot spring, how it worked, and how it was set up. There were shared as well as gender separated areas; the common areas, for example, were shared, whilst the bath - for obvious reasons - was separated by gender. “Here we go, kindly remove your shoes and place them in this locker,” the woman rustled through the pocket of her apron and pulled out a key as she unlocked it and opened it for him, allowing the tall light blue haired man to remove his shoes and place them inside the locker, socks and all before she gave him the key and shut the locker. “Now, all you have to do is undress and then you may choose whether you go to the steam room or the showers and get a deep scrub,” she began to speak only to turn around and cry out, her face growing bright tomato red as she saw that the man had begun to already undress; his jacket had slid off his shoulders and he blinked, in mild surprise as he was halfway through removing his shirt, exposing his entire chest and abdominals to the woman; as well as a curious tattoo he had on his side and several scars.
“Hm? Is there something the matter?”
“You’re supposed to undress in there.” She pointed to the doorway and he stopped.
“Oh, forgive me. I was just excited to enter; I have never used a hot springs before. Plus, I was hoping that you would join me.”
Her face grew redder as he grinned at the woman, fully slipping off his shirt as he draped it over his shoulder.
“I’m far too old for you.” She said with a laugh, taking the man’s comment as a tease, a joke.
“Too old? My beautiful young lady, you are but a fresh young rose in this garden.” He leaned in, smiling, a warmth radiating from the man as he said those words, whispering them so only she could hear and her face grew all the redder because of it.
“I...It’s been a long time since anyone said anything like that to me.” She giggled slightly, hiding her face in her hands as the man, nearly twice her height, smiled at her.
“Then the men around you are blind.”
That too made her face burn, “Through there, you have to undress through there. I have to go back to work.”
He pouted somewhat but nodded, “I can’t say no to a lovely lady. Thank you for your kind service.” He nodded, plucked up his jacket then sauntered through the door; he could feel her eyes devouring him as he went through the doorway.
As soon as he was inside, he fully undressed, using the key he was given to open a specific locker and place his keys inside. Even as other men entered and, some were surprised to see him, he showed no shame in removing his clothing, exposing every inch of himself for any pair of curious eyes to see. Then he grabbed a towel that he wrapped around his hips and headed to the showers.
The water in the shower was cold. Far colder than he had expected. It felt amazing. It reminded him of home; the water hit his body and he shivered with delight, enjoying the short shower before he went to get the deep scrub. There were others getting the scrub in the same room, but they did not appear to enjoy it as much as he did.
“Ooh, that’s nice. Right there, lower back, yeah, little more pressure,” He groaned, his face gaining a soft red flush - as did the faces of the people giving him the scrub as they were not used to people reacting like that - and once they were through he sighed, “That was amazing, keep up the good work,” He winked at them and headed to the common area, towel hanging so loosely around his waist, it hung just as low as his pants usually did.
As soon as he entered, he heard WHAT THE HELL IS THAT? He turned to see. It was a strange octopus creature. “Octopus.” He commented rather plainly. As if it was something that he saw on a daily basis, nothing out of the ordinary at all.

Juniper turned her attention to the bare chested men that entered the common room, she was not the only one looking at them, the women walked passed demurely, and the men were not nearly as chiseled to perfection so they avoided crossing their paths. As a mystic healer she was unphased by their appearance, she even took the time to pour a cup of tea, and overheard the tallest man explain that Hachi was an octopus. After taking a sip of tea, she set the cup down, carefully scooped up her robe as she stood up from the ground, and smiled followed by a small hand wave.
“Ah, yes this is indeed an octopus, he has enough spirit energy to float and breathe the same air as us. I call him Hachi for eight tentacles. I suppose there are not that many of his kind that exist outside of the ocean which makes him more than ordinary.”
Hachi blushed, it was apparent by the rose colored ovals that appeared below its eyes, and the way the fins on its large head began to flap about was a strong indication that he was happy.
“Are you two enjoying the spa? My name is Juni, what are your names?” She tilted her head at both Fenrir and Beruto since the timing was near perfect she assumed they knew each other. While waiting for them to speak up she observed their chakras from afar until she stepped towards them, bent down to stare at their cores almost inches away until she straightened up, and placed a delicate hand on her chin in deep thought.
“My, your solar plexus chakra needs treatment.” Juniper removed her hand from her chin and pointed at Beruto’s navel then turned towards Fenrir to point past the towel on his hips, “That is the most powerful sacral chakra I have ever been graced to witness with my own eyes. Do you feel like your life is unbalanced because of that? I have been trained as a mystic for my entire life, I excel in the art of healing, and returning balance to the body. Would either of you be interested in volunteering so I can demonstrate my abilities?”

Beruto was just staring in sheer disbelief at the bizarre sight in front of him, an octopus, of all things, was just hovering in mid air, as if it was perfectly natural for it to be. More mind mending was that a voice coming up from behind him confirmed that he wasn't hallucinating, and then finally the young lady in the beastie's company elaborated on the creature's presence. Taking a moment to look away from the girl and her pet, flying octopus, the red heated teen turned his head to see who else had entered the room with him. He already knew the voice to be that of another male, but still liked to know what kind of man just nonchalantly accepted that presence of a flying octopus in a sauna, as if it were an every day occurrence. Well the shirtless boy's eyes certainly didn't mind scanning over the other man, drinking in every detail as they glided over his near nude form. It was enough to momentarily short circuit the boy's brain and push the absurdity of the hovering octopus out of his conscious mind. "Wow..." Beruto blurted out, his eyes gradually scanning down the entire length of the man's torso to the towel which looked as if it could fall off at any moment. His hormone fueled distraction though, which had derailed the surprise of walking into the sauna to the sight of the hovering tentacle monster, was dragged back to reality though when the young lady in it's company engaged the two further, asking their names and if they were enjoying their stay at the spa.
"Err, well I kind of just got here miss." Beruto replied, reluctantly dragging his gaze away from the attractive, white haired man. "Name's Beruto ma'am." he added and looked back to the other male. It was hard for the red headed teen not to keep looking at the man, just the sight of his muscled statue of a body was driving the boy's teen aged hormones into overdrive, and there was so much to see. His distraction back to the man was interrupted again when Juni, as she had introduced herself, stepped closer, almost uncomfortably close and bent down, staring at his abdominal muscles. Now Beruto was used to people checking him out, it sort of went with being how well built he was, having such a fantastic physique often attracted attentions and the fact that the boy never wore a shirt only enhanced that. Juni though was examining his midsection though as if he were a specimen under a microscope, and with such clinical detachment that it creeped the boy out a little. Then just as quickly as she had leaned in to look at his midsection and straitened and announced that his Solar Plexus 'needed work.' The boy raised an eyebrow, not that she mentioned chakra, but that she pointed at his navel and not at his actual solar plexus, which was located at the top of the abdominal muscles. The boy knew a little of the mystical 'sciences' and more about anatomy and wondered why she's misidentified the chakra point which was weak. Of course Beruto also knew exactly what she was seeing, though he couldn't see it himself, the unnatural weakness he had in his midsection was something he was well aware of but could never seem to correct.
"Errrr, thanks... But..." The boy was about to try and correct her when she turned her attention similarly to the white haired man and started examining his abs. Beruto of course could help but do the same, though as a somewhat more discrete distance. Interestingly enough, she mentioned the correct chakra point of the navel, where she had pointed on his own stomach, which made the teen wonder if she had just started in this profession. Of course it would be rude for him to ask such a thing, but he was thinking it pretty loudly. The young lady asked if they would like to volunteer so that she could demonstrate her abilities, though Beruto wasn't sure if he wanted her jamming a finger in his belly button and fiddling with his energy, something like that was liable to knock the boy right out. On the other hand, if she could correct the issue it was worth a shot. "Yeah, sure, why not. That is if he doesn't want to go first." the boy replied and looked to the white haired man again, obviously enjoying the view.

There were other people in the hot springs, other clients whom had gone to this particular place to relax, unwind, and shed away the stresses of the day and of life - from work, from kids, from everything - at least in this particular area. In fact, as soon as Juni walked in, many of them worked particularly hard to avoid her. Perhaps it was because of the floating octopus. But, when Beruto and the light blue haired Fenrir entered the room, several of them stopped everything they were doing. They just felt compelled to stop and stare at the two of them. Beruto, who was a youthful man, was still stacked. His body was maturing but muscular, as if he had been sculpted from clay by a master artist. Then there was Fenrir. He was sculpted as if that same artist then took to a block of granite and carved away at it until what remained was the man standing there just behind and to the side of Beruto.
The light blue haired man was used to being stared at. In fact, he had garnered quite a lot of attention when he stripped himself of his clothing in the changing room. Men stared, some with mouths agape as he removed article of clothing after article of clothing. Now, there the shameless man stood in almost all his near naked glory. The only thing keeping their eyes from getting the full picture of his body was a small thin towel that hung precariously, somehow, off his hips, so low on his waistline that it was barely an inch or two above legal.
The women in the room ogled; both at Fenrir and the young Beruto. In fact, their eyes were devouring their bodies, peeking here or there, longing for a slip of the towel and a tug from gravity. Some of them were peeking over at their own male companions as if they were drawing some sort of comparison between their chosen life partner to those two men, the two specimen, who had entered the room.
Both of them - Juni and Beruto - as well as the people around, could see every single inch of the man; his towering body stood nearly seven feet tall, at least six feet and eleven inches. Just shy of seven feet by one measly inch. They could see the tone, the construction, his shoulders, his chest, his back, his legs. They also could see the scars. He had several of them. He did not hide them. He had no reason to. Plus he had no way to even if he wanted to. There were scars along his lower back, one along his neck and jaw, as well as across his left leg up along the thigh and vanishing under the towel. It almost naturally caused the eye to follow and travel.
“Yes, an octopus.” Odd, the man did not appear shocked at all. Then again, Fenrir had seen much stranger things. He was a much stranger thing. He was, after all, a multi-million year old ageless entity trapped currently within a fleshy prison that refused to age and refused to die of old age. He was not human. He was a thing, an other, albeit with an attractive packaging holding it all together. “It’s kind of cute.” Fenrir looked at the strange small hovering creature.
When the woman moved closer, rather uncomfortably close to others, it did not appear to bother Fenrir at all. In fact, his smile only broadened and he shifted his stance somewhat, his hands on his hips as he peered at the woman, “I mean, if you wanted to get a better look at me, you could have just asked.” He was shameless.
Several of the women giggled at the comment. Several of the men rolled their eyes. “You’re built like a miniature tank for a kid that looks so young. Though, I believe his solar plexus is up here,” He commented first to Beruto and then to Juni as he pointed up ,away from where she had looked when she observed him. “Hm? My chakra? I’ve never had any complaints about the size of it before; then again I don’t think that’s my chakra you’re looking at….” He said in a joking manner, “If it is, well, I’ve never really felt any difference. Is it abnormal? Do I have to get it fixed? And one more question, what exactly is a chakra?”
The curious tall man peered over at Beruto, hoping he would have the answer, though when the young woman questioned if she were to be allowed to show them her abilities, he tapped his chin, “Well, I would not mind seeing what that is all about; do you normally do that out in public? And do I have to remove my towel?” The second question caused him to tug somewhat at the towel, though not enough to remove it, just enough to emphasize the question and for several women to gasp aloud and several men to cover their women’s eyes as if they didn’t want them to get a look at something they shouldn’t be looking at - even if they apparently wanted to see it.

Juniper’s cobalt eyes winced slightly as she noticed the teenage boy shift uncomfortably, it seemed he studied what she was discussing, and she smiled. “Nice to meet you, Beruto. You have been traveling for a while right? Your chakra shifted lower which is why you feel your lower back aching from the imbalance it has caused in your body. Sitting for long periods of time will do that, even if the person is well toned and built, as you are. I shall treat you first. Do not worry, it is practically painless.”
The black octopus blushed when Fenrir said it was cute, blinking it’s big orb eyes, then spat out some ink above Juniper’s head, which remained unaffected by gravity as it hovered in the air, she immediately raised her hand and materialized a paint brush in her hand to collect the ink into the tip and draw up a sigil for ‘heal’ utilizing her mystic powers. Once the symbol was drawn, she used her brush to move it across the air towards Beruto’s exposed lower back pushing it towards his body, it disappeared instantly and he could feel the tension dissipate as well as feeling inclined to adjust his posture correctly from where he stood.
“There, all better, it’s much faster than any pill bath capsule corp has developed, especially since my healing is on a deeper level rather than the surface. I have been practicing on the hard working pig demon duchies every new year, and I must admit I have mastered it over the past thirteen years. I am a worthy support in a fight it ever comes down to it.”
Turning back to face Fenrir, she agreed with his knowledge of the solar plexus, “Yes, now both of yours solar plexus’ chakras are in the right place to balance the body. Nice to meet you, too...though I did not catch your name?”
The Tea princess looked down as he tugged his towel, almost starring, but she kept a complacent smile. “That won’t be necessary, the towel is not in the way at all, my healing abilities are not physical. I wouldn’t touch anyone without permission nor would I apply my healing abilities unless consent is given. Thought it seems personal space is an issue, I have yet to measure the appropriate distance would be, perhaps two feet you think? Or is that too close still? Hmm.”
After musing for a minute or two, she turned her focus to the question of what chakra’s were, with a wave of her brush she drew a box, and then began to transform out of her bath robe, she became larger in size as she revealed her true demon form; her skin turned into a light grey ash, her hair turned white, and her blue eyes changed into a crimson hue. Red tipped horns grew from the top of her forehead, and while the robe was meant for someone smaller it cascaded down past her shoulders, a liquid metal danced around her chest to hide parts of her exposed body like an ornate swimsuit. The painted square was on top of her demonic head, revealing the first chakra, “This is the crown chakra, followed by the third eye.”
The square continued to expand down to the middle of her brows for her third eye and continued down to her knees. “Throat, Heart, Solar Plexus, Sacral, and finally the root chakra. Spiritual energy, other wise known as ki, is channeled through these outlets known as chakra among the living. Typically keeping them in equilibrium is how a person becomes balanced in mind, body, and soul.” She changed back to the appearance she held before and the chakras became blurry in the window she provided by applying her mystic powers on herself. “My usual appearance is not as welcoming to most people, I figured since they were avoiding me anyways, I might as well show you both first hand what chakras look like to me. I can see them quite easily in anyone...except androids theirs is hidden unless they power up or force themselves to show their power. I am working on that still, which is why I am out here at the spa, so I can hone my abilities on all kinds of people.” [710] [1,729]

The other patrons weren't the only ones drinking in the view, Beruto stood by casting his gaze over the blue haired man's form, making no secret of his interest. Even better was hearing the man compliment Beruto's own muscled physique, comparing him to a small tank and then going on to gesture to his upper abdomen where the solar plexus is located. "Heh, Thanks You should feel how hard my armor is some time." the fiery, red headed teen flirted back rather openly. There was no point in being coy in general, less so when you were in the company of someone you actually found interesting, so Beruto certainly wasn't going to waste his time beating around the proverbial bush. He was interested and was making it known, and when the man asked if he would need to remove his towel, Beruto stared right at the man as if daring him to do so.
'Chakra lady' as Beruto's teen aged mind termed her, dragged his attention away from the towering piece of eye candy and back to her strange hovering companion as she went on about his nodes being out of position or some such. Truthfully, Beruto was skeptical but for the sake of being polite hadn't said anything yet, which was out of the ordinary for the shirtless boy as usually he was utterly without tact and blunt as a rock. Things just got weirder though as the hovering octopus squirted out hovering ink... Yes, hovering ink. Beruto was beginning to think he'd stepped into a bizarre anime or something. Juniper though went right along with the hovering ink and somehow plucked it out of the air with a brush, then walked around behind the boy and started drawing in the air with the very same ink. Glancing over his toned shoulder, the boy quirked an eyebrow as was about to ask her if he was supposed to take some sort of position, however before he could get a chance to speak, the young lady pushed the hovering glyph she had draw towards him. It passed out of the teen's line of sight, since he was not an owl and thus could not look fully behind him, however he did know the moment it made contact and vanished though because he felt... something. It was a strange tingling sensation and then an easing of some of the tension in his his back. It was unfortunately localized only in the lower back and did nothing for the rest of his decidedly aching body.
"Well that feels a little different." he commented and raised his arms to fold them up behind his head and turned around to face the two, giving them both a full view of his phenomenal musculature as he twisted left and right a bit to try and loosen things up a bit more. "What I could really do with though is a massage and a good long soak." Beruto was about to explain to the man what a chakra was when their talkative host beat him to it, dumping a lengthy description on the guy complete with hovering graphics. It didn't stop the red headed boy from adding his own summation though. "Basically it's an energy node in your body. It's why in some cultures the stomach is considered the center of a person, it's where all of their vital energy is produced and why you can greatly weaken someone by striking them there."
'Wait a minute... people don't have horns.' the boy's thoughts suddenly derailed. Beruto's attention had been more on the blue haired man than their host so when she made her presentation with hovering symbols, the boy hadn't fully processed what he was seeing out side of the center of his vision. She'd transformed into some kind of deamon creature. "Woe... What the hell, you're like some kind of monster lady?" the boy asked bluntly, taking a step back but not lowering his arms. He didn't think he was in sufficient danger to warrant readying his fists, but did want to be out of arm's reach just in case the general weirdness did turn dangerous.

Fenrir did notice it. It was hard not to notice the staring, the eyes roaming over his all but almost fully naked body, the only thing keeping him covered being a small towel that hung so loosely from his hips that it was by some miracle or some invisible force that the thing didn’t come falling off and showing off to the world everything this man had to offer; in short, there were people staring at him. The white wolf was used to the attention, especially when his clothing began to make itself scarce.
Women tended to stare. Men too found themselves almost instinctively staring at him, either they were equally as intrigued or they were jealous, he didn't know what they were feeling when they looked at him, he didn't much care. He didn't mind the attention, he also didn't revel in it. He just put up with it, enjoyed it to a certain degree. He grinned over at Beruto, shooting him a sneaky little wink when the boy stood there, as if frozen like a deer caught in the headlights, ogling him as if he were devouring the tall piece of well muscled eye candy with those pretty hungry eyes of his, "I don't mind showing off but you're looking at me like you want to eat me; I know wolves, they look at their meal with that same hunger in their eyes."
The tall, well toned, blue haired man spoke in a teasing flirtatious tone, though he wasn't upset, or bothered. He grinned wide, a rather cheeky smile crossing his handsome features.
“Not that I mind being your snack,” The man grinned all the wider, stretching somewhat as he stood beside the boy, clasping his hands behind the back of his head, which only served to show off his physique all the more. Muscles flexed and his body was on full display for everyone to take in, “Though, maybe you shouldn’t bite off more than you can chew.” He teased the young man even further, “Hm, wait a few years and then maybe you can have the full course meal, how does that sound?”
He spoke in a flirtatious and yet matter of fact tone, speaking to the young man in a way that both sounded as if he were fully coming on to him but also, at the same time, sounding as if he were letting the boy off easy, or at the very least make it known that while he enjoyed the interest, found it flattering, the boy was still a bit young for his liking.
“But, I wouldn’t mind spending time with you anyway,” he added, tapping his chin, “what better place to relax without any concerns for gender roles or societal expectations than a hot spring? Sit back, relax, enjoy a nice soak, and maybe chat in the steam room.” He grinned, that same cheeky smile again, as he peered down at the young woman with her hovering octopus companion.
He did note that the octopus had become a visible shade of rose when he called it cute, and his smile only grew. If that were possible, that is.
“You really are adorable.” He leaned over to pet the small octopus, tickling it with one of his fingers as if he were tickling a pup, being particularly gentle with the small floating creature.
Fenrir had to admit, he was fascinated as he watched her work; the strange little octopus spitting forth ink that hovered in the air. The way that she used her paint brush to draw out those strange sigils, glyphs, that disappeared into the young muscular man’s body, and the way that the tension could almost visibly be seen vanishing from his body. The way he stood, the way his body no longer slouched, the way he appeared to relax, all were signs that the young woman’s treatment, as different and unconventional as they appeared, appeared to also function quite effectively.
“You are quite skilled,” He rubbed his jaw, watching her work, though something else caught his eye. She changed. Her body grew; her skin turned a soft ashy grey, horns grew from her forehead, her clothing changed somewhat, and he couldn’t help but stare.
It took him a second to finally come to grips with what he was seeing, yet he reacted in a way that was completely different from Beruto. “Hm, my name? I tend to forget to tell people that. I don’t know why. I guess it’s because I’m not used to people calling me by name.” He tapped his chin. “I’ve been called so many things; The Blizzard, Winter, and the White Wolf, so few people call me by my name. My name is Fenrir. It is a pleasure to meet you.” His smile grew once again; a little sneaky wink shot toward the woman didn’t help decrease the cheekiness levels of it.
Beruto reacted with abject shock, mild horror, and he called the woman a monster, moving away from her.
This earned the young boy a cold stare; cold was putting it mildly. His eyes had taken on a chilling air to them. The look that one could call an icy inferno in his eyes.
The air around the man appeared to waver, not due to heat, but something else. In fact, if one were to be standing directly beside the tall piece of eye candy, they would notice that the temperature dropped several degrees. Moreover, it did so rather quickly, as their breath would escape from their lips in visible puffs of mist.
As Juni took on her more “pleasing” appearance, she would notice that the man’s chakra had shifted, changed. It was something that one wouldn’t notice if they didn’t have the ability, but standing beside him, or more like around him, was an image. It was invisible to anyone else, but not to Juni. It was an immense white wolf, its eyes were bright scarlet and they were glaring daggers at Beruto.
The odd pulsating cold energy he gave off, the chakra, the strange wolf, it all became very clear that this tall piece of male beef was not just some random male stripper hanging out at the hot springs. In fact, it became clear that he wasn’t even human at that point. What was he? Well, it had something to do with the large white wolf.
“Oi, don’t be rude,” he spoke up, even his tone had lost all sense of playfulness, “don’t throw the word monster about so haphazardly. You’ve yet to see what a real monster looks like.” He turned to look over at Juni, his eyes softening somewhat, a small smile crossing his face. The wolf turned to look at her too, and then just like that it was gone. “If most people don’t deem your usual appearance welcoming, then those people are fools. Either form you take is a masterpiece in my eyes.”

Hachi demurely accepted Fenrir’s tenderness to pet him, the pink discs on his smooth cold black flesh increased in size, and his black orb-like eyes glittered in fascination.
After Beruto regained balance he revealed he needed physical treatment and further explained his understanding of the source of all energy within people. It was good to know that the teen was as studious as she had been; Beruto had the beginnings of being a healer himself if he set his mind to it. The two males were then flirting with each other which made her grin with a pair of fangs over her bottom demonic lip. After she returned to her facade appearance she noticed a wolf behind Fenrir that she had not seen before, sizing down to her previous physical form to fit her white robe again, she was taken aback by being called a monster by Beruto suddenly. Juniper was a Tea Princess, descendant to a mighty console of the Western Lands, and raised under the influence of a royal upbringing along with mastering the four arts of a devoted scholar. However, she was not seen as an elegant nobel outside of her home and country; she never would have thought that it was so uncommon to have seen demons roam the lands freely. All she could do was size him up, she was not a fighter, and defending her honor meant nothing to a stranger; if he wanted to avoid her, now that she revealed the truth about herself, and found it unacceptable, like most of the people in the spa, she was not going to hold it against him. As she breathed out calmly, a cloud formed from her lips as the temperature suddenly turned frigid, and in her peripheral she could sense the source but the need to explain herself to Beruto compelled her.
“Hell? No. My mother is from HFIL, all demons are, and have surfaced to the earth to do as they please like most earthlings. I am not a representation for my kind or ever will be as I am only half demon and a pig beastman...monsters exist but I can assure you, I am not one of them, dear child.” Juniper smiled at the vigilant teenage boy and diverted her attention to Fenrir as the chill in the air dissipated after he spoke his peace.
“My grandfather Oolong possesses a similar composition of chakras as yours but his sacral is not as brilliant because he is shallow. While he remains unchanged in life he has definitely accomplished enough by having an entire city named after him in the Western Lands as well as establish the Pig Demon Duchies as his legacy. I do not find the imbalance of the sacral chakra problematic, personally. Grand Duke Yajirobe is a legendary samurai with a near perfect balance except for the throat chakra. If anyone desired to regain personal balance then they would take it upon themselves to seek counsel or aid from a mystic healer such as myself.”
While she had drawn the sigil for ‘heal’ for Beruto she painted another glyph using her brush for ‘restore’ for the expended ki Fenrir used in his travels he would feel anew invigorating energy. The mystic spell did not have to be applied behind the blue haired man and it was instead pushed towards his exposed chest, the black imbued ink disappeared on contact with the surface of his skin, and a glowing aura surrounded him akin to powering up. Recalling the wolf from earlier, her cobalt blue eyes changed, and turned into a crimson hue.
“Ah, I did not see you there until I changed, but now I can. What is your name?”Juniper turned towards the invisible wolf that could only be seen using her demon eyes and bowed her head in greeting at the creature until it vanished again, she then looked at Fenrir. “Is the ancient wolf a familiar? This is the first time I have met anyone like you apart from the spectacular display of chakras. It seems you are one of a kind.”
She blinked and her eyes changed back to a blue color while listening to Fenrir’s compliments. “Thank you. I wish I could be myself but I do not have a preference with either of my physical appearances. I have long shed my carnal desire in order to focus on my mysticism, my profession requires that I approach people without judgement, and the facade is necessary for our current society in order for me to practice my healing abilities on people. Like a good doctor, I must be able to look at people in the nude in order to treat their ailments properly without being distracted by their physical appearance.” Juniper mused for a moment, “Perhaps if I aid as many people as possible around the world I can remain in the form I was born into someday. It is my goal in life to bring balance to the world. Until then, would you both like to head over to the sea salt sauna or hot spring? It will help Beruto make a full physical recovery and help everyone relax.”
With a smile she turned to her octopus companion, “Stay here Hachi, it is too hot in there, and you will be boiled alive because you are not warm blooded.”

With his weird-O-meter ticking up and off the scale coupled with no desire to be lectured or scolded by people who didn't even know him, Beruto just dropped his ares and cut his losses. "Yeah, what ever." the shirtless teen said shrugging, disappointed that what could have been an otherwise interesting encounter and a relaxing evening, not only turned out to be a cold fish, but a mutated cold fish with an unpalatable air of moral superiority. The last thing the already stressed out boy needed to to be told how horrible he was for daring to have an opinion of his own. They didn't even bother to consider the possibility that what he meant by 'Monster' was more in the awesome Godzilla sense. Instead judgement was passed and he was sentenced to be lectured, something the red haired teen was going to have no part of. Offense is Taken after all, not given. He had meant no offense by his comment, after all he didn't go running from the room screaming 'Monster', no he backed up a step. But an assumption was made about his character and he wasn't going to just stand around be be further besmirched.
"Look I came for a massage and a soak, not lecture. You want to be offended, go right ahead. I am going to go find myself a jacuzzi somewhere because frankly I think I'm more tense now than when I walked in here. Come if you want to, but I'm done with the weirdness. Peace out." the somewhat irritated teen continued and then side stepped and headed for the door. He'd head out into the lobby if he wasn't stopped and stop by the front desk again to inquire as to where he might find a hot tub to soak in for a while.

"I hadn't heard of Oolong City before," He tapped his chin as he looked over the attractive young woman in front of him. There was something about her that was oddly comforting. Something that he couldn't put his finger on. Even if her 'true form' had caused some shock in Beruto and caused the young boy to ask if she were some kind of monster, it was, in fact, rather calming for Fenrir, though he couldn't quite figure out why. Perhaps it was because he was so used to seeing everyone's external facade, the mask they put on, that seeing their true visage, their true colors, was somewhat relieving. Juni did not appear monstrous to him; in fact, since he had begun to speak to the young woman, she appeared to be quite civilized, polite, and humble. She spoke with an air of someone who was a member of a higher level of the caste system than he, yet she did not lord it over him. She spoke to him as if they were equals.
When she spoke to the wolf, the invisible being that had appeared around Fenrir, the light blue haired man grinned. She could see his true form? He wanted to see if she could; he had exerted a tiny bit of his pressure outward, revealing the form to her. Only one with the ability to see chakras, those with specific training, would have seen it - that is unless he made it so others could see it - and she saw it. "I'm quite happy that you could see that," Fenrir confessed to the young woman, "Oh, that is no familiar; although it is, in fact, ancient. That is the form I used to take in front of humans. This body," He motioned to himself, "is not my real form. My real form has no real actual physical form. It's strange to explain but simply put, I was an other, a being whose shape could not be comprehended by the human mind. So, I took on a form that they could comprehend. Namely the being they later began to call the Great White Wolf of the White Desert; though, truthfully, it wasn't a desert, it was more of a tundra. I'm not sure if you would call me a demon or a deity. I'm not sure what else you would or could call me. But, human is not a term I could use to describe myself, if I am to be perfectly honest."
The wolf watched Beruto, watched the young man's face as he reacted to his stern words. He appeared to be bored of the situation, bored of Juni, and bored of Fenrir. It was odd how quickly the boy grew tired of the two of them. Fickle, he appeared to be. Not wanting to be lectured, even if neither Juni nor Fenrir had attempted to lecture the boy in the slightest. All that the tall muscular man had done was tell him not to be rude; he did not know what a real monster looked like. Fenrir, on the other hand, did know what a monster looked like. He had experience dealing with monsters. If only more monsters were as nice to look at, or as nice to converse with, as Juni.
Yet, Beruto appeared to not want to listen and he wandered off, even if Juni had offered to spend some more time with them, including a nice stay in the hot spring or the sea salt sauna. Either way, the tiny hovering octopus would not be allowed to join; something about the poor thing possibly being cooked by the heat.
He watched Beruto wander away then turned his attention back to the small octopus as he reached over and pet its head once more. "I would not mind spending some time in the sauna. It's my first time visiting a place like this. Then again, it's my first time visiting a city like this. It's so much different compared to anything I'd seen before."
"How unfortunate that he left." He pet the small octopus, not really looking in the direction that Beruto had wandered off to. He, instead, chose to distract himself by holding the small octopus creature on his palm, allowing Hachi to hover peacefully over his flat palm, "I want to get a few things done today; maybe some relaxing in the hot spring, go to the sauna, not in that order. Or could be in that order. I don't really have a preference. Then I'll shower and leave. I have some stores to check out. I want to see if I can find some decent kitchen equipment. I don't have a place to stay yet, but I want to know where to go shopping for some decent appliances should I get a home in the near future."
He sat up and tapped his chin, "Maybe I'll find one of those really big stand mixers, the ones you see in bakeries. I always wanted one of those; it would help baking and cooking easier." He appeared to be in deep thought, thinking on whether or not he would spend so much money on one of those appliances.

Beruto muttered in response to both herself and Fenrir about the subject of monsters. It seemed like the teenage boy was distressed yet displayed that he did not care what was said. After Fenrir mentioned not knowing of Oolong City she turned her attention back to the light blue haired man.
“Well it’s quite different from West City, everything here is by far futuristic in architecture, and the fashion is simpler if not practical too. Oolong city is a mixture of old and new, some of the residents still wear clothing that is over thousands of years old in fashion, and others wear more modern clothing. You’re starting to make me feel like I miss being home by reminiscing on it because I am out of my element here.”
Juniper listened carefully to what Fenrir had to say about what she thought was his wolf familiar, from the sound of it the only origin of his true form was from the tundra, and he believed that he was a deity. The story was a bit similar to Inari Okami and the shinto shrines placed all over the western lands. It was possible he was born into the world through worship of the people who brought him into existence or was created by other deities to the mortal realm to serve a purpose. Of course it was all speculation and since they just met she figured she would learn more about him with time.
“I see, do you still answer by Great White Wolf of the White Desert?”
The sudden outburst from Beruto startled everyone in the common room, he was suppressing his feelings, but it was odd that he allowed himself to be so sensitive about the situation rather than learn from it. The fact that he felt lectured meant he was focused on the fact that he was younger and despite that he required no guidance from either of them being older or their different life experiences. It would explain why he was unattended by his parents in the spa, he had something to make up for, being young meant he needed to be treated like an adult because he was independent. Juniper reflected for a while until he stormed off, she was uncertain if following him would help, she might make matters worse if she tried, it was the red haired boy’s decision to leave, but deep down there was only one thing she had left to say.
“Beruto-chan, I promise that I am not trying to lecture you, but rather inform you...and that is to say that the hot spring is not near the entrance, it’s down the hallway from the showers, and a full soak will relieve the stress you are under. Take good care of your body and it will take care of you.” Juniper smiled and returned back to Fenrir’s side as he played with Hachi; the octopod was enamored with him already.
“The sauna is just through those doors, the steam is infused with stone salt mined from the mountain tops, and it’s a more natural method of removing impurities from the body. Instead of these Capsule Corp pill baths. Chemicals are found in nature but I feel there is no shortcut to finding cures for ailments, sometimes the average human body is capable on its own, with the right application.” Juniper mused about how different it was for both of them to be in West City, “You have not explored the world? Me neither, which is why I have been traveling, the experience will help me achieve my goal of balancing the world with my mystic powers. Is baking simply a hobby or is it an occupation?”
The tea princess listened to what Fenrir had planned for the rest of the day after the spa, more specifically his interest in acquiring machinery for the purposes of baking, while she warned Hachi not to follow them he went into the steaming hot room. There were some people inside sitting peacefully as they concentrated on remaining in the steam as long as possible.
Juniper took a seat in the first row, which was the closest to the source of heat, which she was resistant to being that she was a half demon. After an hour the sauna room was empty, it was impossible for humans to last more than fifteen minutes, and Hachi was running low on spiritual power as he had been powering up to resist the heat.
“Hachi, that is enough, you should leave, it has been an hour go rest in the common room and I will restore your expended ki once we are done here then head out to the hotspring.” Juniper nodded in disapproval as she began to build up a sweat, “It seems you are unaffected by extreme temperatures. Do you not feel anything, Fenrir-san?”
Hachi left the sauna, using the last bit of his strength to open the door, then flopped over to the massive pumice stone in the center of the room to rest.

"Oolong does sound as if it would be very interesting; a mixture of old and new sounds, I guess, cozy." He thought it over, as he attempted to imagine just what Oolong City was like going by what the woman had said; the mixture of old and new, the people wearing clothes that are many centuries old while, he imagined, walking around with some futuristic piece of technology tucked in their pocket, bobbing their head to a strange but not at all offensive remix of an oldie but goodie piece of music. The image was strange, a young modern civilian clad in old clothes. But, it was not unheard of. If he were to be honest, it sounded oddly quaint.
When the attractive young woman questioned whether or not Fenrir still answered to that old title, the Great White Wolf of the White Desert, a small grin escaped the well muscled man, he was holding Hachi in his palm as he pet the octopod on the head, "Oh, that was a title given to me, not one I chose. But, if you wanted to call me something, you could call me Fenrir, or Fen. Great White Wolf of the White Desert sounds so stuffy. I haven't used that title in a long time; but if it's you calling me that, then I won't complain." His flirtatious smile crossed his handsome features again. "Whichever you prefer."
He watched quietly as the young woman attempted to calm down Beruto, or at the very least point him in the right direction; he wanted to go to the hot spring but was heading in the wrong way, and would have likely ended up outside rather than at the hot spring had Juni not told him specifically where it was. The light blue haired man didn't bother stopping the brash youth; if he wanted to walk away, well, he could walk away. Fenrir wasn't going to stop him. Instead, he preferred to pet and play with the small octopod, Hachi.
"What is a Capsule Corp pill bath?" The wolf stared at her curiously; he was certainly not very well traveled, as he didn't even know what one of those was. He hadn't heard the term until he arrived at that hotspring; what did a pill bath consist of? Was it some kind of big tub where one got in and got covered in pills of some kind? No, that couldn't be what a pill bath was. Why would anyone bother creating something like that? And for what purpose? He could only imagine that the term pill bath was not exactly a literal translation, "Baking is... I would imagine a hobby. I do not have a job anywhere as a baker; if that's what you're wondering. Discovered a long time ago I had a real love for it. It's very relaxing, takes my mind off of things that cause me stress."
He allowed the small octopod to hover up and away from his palm so he could follow the woman out of the common room. She appeared to know the layout of the place quite well, at least enough to know where the hotspring and the sauna were. From the way she described its location to Beruto as he stormed off, it sounded as if she could find her way through the place with a blindfold on.
The well muscled man looked around the place, enjoying the sights, sounds, and the warmth that radiated around his body as he soon sat in the sauna with Juni, "Hm, the cold never really bothered me, and I lived in the snowy north, so I didn't feel too much of the heat. There was always snow covering the ground. So long, little buddy." As Hachi was told to leave, Fen gave the small octopus one final little affectionate pat to the head, allowing it to hover out of the high temperature sauna for its own health and safety. "So, what is there to do over there at Oolong City?"

“Well, Capsule Corp, is the front runner of the latest technology and medicine. I have not had the luxury of a full pill bath, it is something the elite indulge in, granted it is done by appointment and in private at their headquarters in West City. This spa has a communal pill soak, it has restorative properties on the body, and it does work. However, it is my belief that the body would become dependant on a drug instead of naturally healing on its own.” Everytime Fenrir smiled, she smiled along with him, she still held an observant expression, and was quite attentive to everything he had to say but was nowhere near as flirtatious as his sly signature smile.
“It is good to have a hobby, especially one that is as relaxing as yours, it makes life seem a bit simpler, and the best part about baking is being able to eat the treat at the end.” Juniper chuckled softly, “Mine is calligraphy and watercolor painting. I am confident in my calligraphy but not so much illustrations. I am indecisive about the color palettes, I find myself starting over when I paint, and I end up spending the entire day away that I force myself to stop.”
The tea princess picked up a wooden ladle and poured water over the heater to steam the room up. The robe she was wearing was entirely soaked now, she was starting to exhibit the limitations of her beastman blood, as she settled in for a bit longer.
“Oolong city balances the other cities in the world. It is known as the city of sin for its gluttony, greed, and lust. The best restaurants, casinos, and all forms of adult entertainment is found there, so I am sure anyone who visits will find something to do. I have not visited much of the city because I have been occupied training my mystic powers, my entire lifetime for the most part, despite living at the heart of the city. When I go back and I find free time, I just might venture about.” Juniper stretched out, “I am at my limit, time to enjoy the rest of the spa. Would you like to tag along? I plan to stay a little bit longer before I sit in at a couple of lectures at West City university.”
After leaving the sauna, Juniper restored Hachi’s ki, and went into the clay ball room. The robe she was wearing was put inside a bin as it was entirely soaked through. Underneath she was wearing a black mostly sheer open back one piece swimsuit which was required to be worn in the communal areas. The clay balls were the size of grapes, kept warm from a heater under the tiled floor, which applied pressure points from laying over them, and she took the time to practice breathing in the room which smelled like earth. Nature presented the elements, air, water, earth, all which was necessary for life. It was the same experience from the spas in Oolong city apart from pill bath. After another hour Juniper said her goodbyes to Fenrir in the common room wearing a new fluffy white robe which were provided in every room.
“It was a pleasure meeting you Fenrir-san and I hope we meet again, soon. Take care.” She turned to leave towards the women’s locker room.
Hachi motioned his tentacles as if blowing a kiss followed by waving all his black tentacles to imitate a wave before following after his companion.
Fate would allow them to meet again if Fenrir knew where to look.
