West City is known for being the most advanced in the world gathering different types of businesses and ventures that excel in scientific discoveries and new age technology. For a week Juniper had been attending a free nightly class on Ufology at West City University, while every seat in the theater sized room had been taken on the first day, it was now diminished to a handful of attendees for good reason, the eccentric Professor had been explaining all of his theories without scientific proof. The Tea Princess still found it interesting, mainly because Professor Nimoy could talk for hours so passionately that she was learning his mannerisms by observing him so that she could apply her own manner of speaking when explaining her mystic abilities to the masses; she had trouble finding people to listen to her about the healing arts. Tonight everyone that remained were asked to sit in the front row, the lights were dimmed, and the projector was turned on to display the screen of the hand held tablet Professor Nimoy was holding as he spoke in a lowered voice. “I am an expert in Ufology because it’s all real and very soon someone will discover me. So if I make it through tonight you will all be made into believers. I waited to see who would remain for the last day of class to trust you with what you are about to see with your very own eyes.”Everyone fell silent as he scrolled through his photographs of people, among the pictures was a strange monkey tailed young man who was missing his monkey beastman ears which Juni overhead someone say, but she knew that it was actually a saiyan and before she could explain this fact the Professor spoke first. “These photographs were taken in the southern islands, a strange looking young man who has been seen on DynoTube fighting an icy witch, a pair of teens, and an infamous rapper by throwing a car into a building has been under close observation by me. He is not an ordinary earthling, his power level alone grows at an exponential rate compared to a human or android especially since he can fly in the air. Unfortunately I only have the power level data as proof that something is amiss. In line with this discovery is ancient technology buried deep underground in different parts of the world in a language no one seems to understand and is completely disregarded as a coded language in order to keep the lost science secret.” Professor Nimoy took a deep breath, “I have cracked the code in these reports made by beings who regard themselves as Tuffles, there have been indications of Saiyans being from another planet, and while there is a mass of desidens who call themselves Saiyans in Little Vegeta in Oolong City, this particular saiyan in the pictures is blue eyed, a sign that he has been experimented on compared to the Saiyans that presently exist who exhibit black dominant hair and black eyes if purebred with the same species. While Saiyans can be crossbred with other earthlings they lose some of their common physical traits, for example this girl.”The pictures changed from Cayle to Tiger Lily fighting against Achido, then Luther, and then Orizuru. “She does not have a tail and appears ordinarily human with her red hair and green eyes and I have reason to believe she is a half saiyan. However, her power level has also spiked at a rate much higher than the other earthlings she has been seen fighting with. In truth, I am a researcher, and I am far too inferior in strength to begin studying these two subjects or even approach them. I have private investors who seek more concrete evidence of my unified theory and I am one step closer to uncovering the truth if we work together to find it. So are you with me in all this? You will be compensated well if you uncover proof about Saiyans or Tuffles not being from earth.”
Half the group left at this point, they were not convinced of the theories or pictures being aliens since they looked like everyday people. While earthlings had formidable fighters to protect people from danger the thought that they were not from the same planet was quite unbelievable. Juniper on the other hand was intrigued, she had not met different types of Saiyans before, and the truth was out there if she could meet one by utilizing her mystic abilities to read the ki signature directly. “ I am with you. My name is Juni and I have been attending all of your classes.” She smiled as she got up from her desk, “I am not sure how to prove it but I can read power levels without a machine and can see the channels for ki on the body since my demon blood has granted me this ability. I can look for evidence on either one of these species of people. You mentioned someone will discover you but what does that mean?” “I am afraid to say that I am half Tuffle. I have reason to believe Tuffles are sworn to secrecy and there is a top secret network of them suppressing the truth from being unveiled. However, my DNA is hardly any proof compared to Saiyans which is why I am focusing my research on them instead.” Professor Nimoy looked at who remained in the classroom, “Does anyone else have questions at this point before we continue?”[925/8,000]

Though she was not particularly interested in actual Ufology, Savina had still managed to steal a quiet seat at a few of that strange professor’s seminars. The evidence he presented in favor of his claims were largely unsubstantiated, but they were at least fun to listen to the wild leaps in the man’s logic. Whether or not aliens actually existed was not much of a concern of the android’s-- of course, she hoped that they did exist in some capacity… and that they were particularly strong, but that stemmed from a nonspecific desire to find as many strong people as she could. Moreover, Savina found it somewhat useful to study the way Professor Nimoy’s leaps in logic functioned; they were not so wild as to be entirely unbelievable(aside from the lack of real evidence), but the interesting part was learning how that man’s mind associated two seemingly dissimilar pieces of information. It was almost like watching a group of children play a word association game while one boggled everyone else with the most inane of comparisons- like going from banana to human because their genetic construction was so similar. Due to these jumps in logic, the numbers of Nimoy’s class dwindled session after session, until only a select few remained for his supposed last showing in this particular course. The man put forth his usual assertion that what he spoke of was absolutely true, though it had taken on a new sense of urgency; his voice wavered with just enough emotion to suggest that he felt quite serious about the absurd declaration that someone would “come for him”. Whether or not that was actually true, the shift in his demeanor caused Savina to lean forward in her seat(which had been tucked away in the back of the class- she didn’t want to draw attention to herself.) The “evidence” that Professor Nimoy went on to display was a most curious assortment, indeed. Of course, the android was less interested in his presentation’s slides due to their supposed evidence, but more that the pictures suggested the presence of rather strong individuals located somewhere to the south. She had come to West City in search of a challenge but found its selection of fighters lacking-- but if so many powerful people existed to the south, she would have to plan a little trip. Then came the discussion of Saiyans, Tuffles, and beyond. Those particular subjects retained Savina’s attention, as they spoke of things that were immediately relevant to her person. According to Professor Nimoy’s suggestions, the Saiyans and their rival species, the Tuffles, were both from a planet other than Earth… and the latter was still operating as distinctive outsiders on their current planet, while the former had integrated more naturally. She began to place a little more stock in what the Professor was saying, given how much of it started to reflect what her own independent research had proven. After all, she was a Saiyan brain trapped inside a robotic body of… Tuffle design. Further yet, she awoke into life inside one of that enigmatic race’s abandoned bunkers-- and had since discovered other abandoned projects littered across the continent. Most of them were, as the Professor suggested, quite aptly hidden. Were it not for the resonation of her own technology, she wouldn’t have stumbled across… well, any save for the one she awoke in. When Juni rose to approach Nimoy to offer her aid, Savina also slipped out of her seat and made a quiet descent toward the man. To the android’s surprise, the girl proposing a partnership readily admitted to her own non-human origin, particularly a ‘demonic’ one. That was a curious thing, how many demons Savina had encountered so far. Her independent research informed her of the Demon Duchies that existed to the North, but she didn’t expect to run into quite so many amidst the human populations. Then again, dear Atalan had a Barony of his own that was only a few hours flight from West City- and he had also alluded to other minor kingdoms existing in the regions near his own. Perhaps demons were far more populated than she originally expected! “ He means that the Tuffles do not like havin’ their secrets aired out in public,” Savina injected, lifting both of her metal hands to present her palms harmlessly as she did so. Hopefully, the pair wouldn’t identify her as a threat. “ I don’t know anything about them being space aliens or whatnot, but I’ve found enough evidence on my own to prove that they exist. Heck, I’m proof enough--” she paused to gently knock her knuckles against her chest, letting the clank of metal-on-metal emphasize her point, “ I was built by the evasive little buggers. Or, my body was-- my brain’s actually one of them Saiyan types you were talkin’ about earlier. But… I think it’s probably best you not spend too much time looking into the Tuffle’s business. They get up to some pretty dodgy stuff, and the methods they employ are… well, more than most people can handle.” wc: 863 twc: 1788 / 8000 Juni

The revelation that Saiyans and Tuffles were from a different planet with no other proof besides photos of atypical fighters forced the remainder of the classroom to become empty seats, all that remained were Professor Nimoy, Savina, and Juni. There was clarity when Savina spoke up, revealing that she was more than an ordinary android, apart from the obvious components of her exposed metal exterior, and that secrets were meant to be kept because the Tuffles were something to be feared.
“I am not afraid.” Juni admitted, “However, if I leave your side Professor Nimoy, you are at risk of being exposed to people who would rather not have their truth revealed to the world. You have said enough, it is best you do not seek the proof you need, and leave it to someone else who can defend themselves from these mysterious forces. I dare say, you look just like any ordinary earthling, you claim being half Tuffle but you look human to me. I would need to meet a Tuffle to distinguish your chakras to know for sure if I can find others. I am not presently in my demon form and if I was in my real form I look just like most demons who roam the earth freely. My demon blood allows me to easily identify other races by their chakras alone and not their outward appearance. The flow of ki is different as you say between ordinary humans and saiyans when reading their power levels-- except for Androids.”
She turned to Savina, “I cannot read your power level but you can read mine right? You admitted that you were built by Tuffles, do you recall if that took place here on earth? Perhaps, you would not be here if you knew the truth. HFIL, you might be here on behalf of those who built you. Are you in control of your free will or does someone control you with a remote? What were you looking for in this presentation exactly?”
Juniper was breaking a sweat, she was rather nervous around Savina, not being able to detect her power level left two possibilities: she was a formidable android or could easily be suppressed. However, the question remained to what brought the android to a ufology class in the first place. The Tea Princess would have never believed that the Saiyans who lived in her grandfather’s city were from another planet until tonight; they were problematic with their hot headed attitudes and gangs.
“My half brother...a pig beastman was murdered by a saiyan. He was not a fighter, even though he was an expert marksman it was not enough to save his own life, and if I am to survive on my own in the world then I better learn what I am up against. That is why I attended this class but I never suspected that saiyans were not from earth.” She did not waver from her melancholy expression, suspicion remained of what Savina believed in, and she forced herself to give her the benefit of the doubt.
While Professor Nimoy wanted to interject, what Juni asked her counterpart also piqued his interest in knowing the answers from an android made by Tuffles, so he sniffed the air after a beat.
“What is your name, miss?”

It truly never ceased to amaze Savina with just how open the demons she had met were about their heritage. She supposed there was some level of prestige to flaunting the latent power of one’s bloodline… but if the histories she had read were correct, most of the civilized world ought to consider the demons their natural enemies? Sure, not all of them worked for the same agency, and if Atalan was any indication, many had aspirations of claiming fame for themselves. Nevertheless, it was an honest surprise that the humans’ military forces didn’t actively act against representatives of the demon race. Perhaps, she pondered, it was because of some standing cease-fire between the major powers that were? Or, better yet, Demons might have been simply too naturally powerful for common military or basic police to deal with directly. Mayhaps then they decided that they would preserve their more powerful assets for instances wherein threats revealed themselves as precisely that, rather than pulling the trigger on someone based purely on their heritage. The lattermost option seemed to be the most probable, marking human governments as shockingly… progressive. Juniper let out a rather long-winded stream of questions and hypotheticals of her own. It was a lot for Savina to take in initially, but she listened as closely as she could and stored each question in her memory to be replied to in order. Of course, the demon was correct- Professor Nimoy looked to be just as human as anyone else, but that wasn’t a surprise to even Savina. Of all the identification information she gleaned from the computers in her home bunker, Tuffles were nearly identical to humans or Saiyans-- and a rather large percentage of them had subjected themselves to deliberate genetic manipulation, resulting in many hybrid offspring. Eventually, the android guessed, Tuffles would be more of a culture than a species. Of course, when things turned pointedly toward Savina’s individual strength, she couldn’t help herself but to smile. It was sometimes frustrating for her power to be constantly masked by the makeup of her body, but she had learned through considerable experimentation how to reveal her approximate power to those around her. The process required focusing only her natural ki flow through her organic parts and letting her artificial core fall into a background application; this resulted in her power level being perceivable by those around her and measurable by onlooking scouters, though it was not entirely accurate. By Savina’s own estimations, there was something like a twenty five percent margin of error in calculations of her power based on her individual revelation process. To make matters worse, the technique she had devised was actually quite painful and had the potential for knocking the poor girl unconscious if she sustained it for too long. “ I don’t think you should be afraid, just… careful. See, they’ve got some structures that even I can’t bust into, and I can promise you that the difference in our strength is quite vast. In fact, I’ll do something that’ll let you sense my power for a second- but only a second, so pay attention now,” Savina replied initially, offering up a half-apologetic smile to Juniper and Nimoy alike. The android took a step back and placed her fists at her side. She focused intently on her spinal column, allowing her mechanical processes to fade into the same diminished states they adopted when Savina slept; the girl’s natural ki began to swell within her few remaining organic pieces. A small few seconds passed with Savina retaining her intense concentration-- then, for a brief instant, her aura flared to life around her body. The girl’s energy overtook her form and immediately illuminated the nearby area brightly with pale white light. The showing of her power was comparatively impressive; if a scouter or similar device were nearby, it would read a power level of approximately ten thousand. However, the show was indeed for only a second, as Savina let her flare of energy fade away the very nano-second that she began to feel pain setting in across the whole of her nervous system. Her body’s artificial processes spurred into life again and set to work repairing the light damage that her show had done to her organic parts-- and once again, Savina’s energy presence was quite invisible. “ Hopefully that’ll do it! For your questions, now… I haven’t met my creators yet, so I can’t say for certain whether or not my component parts were made off of this world, but I can definitely say that I was brought into life on Earth. Entirely accidentally, actually- but that’s a long story for another time. See, when I woke up, I was the only sapient thing left in my facility. The Tuffles that had made me were long gone. By the few security records I was able to access, I’d suppose they’ve been away from that bunker for at least a few years. To answer your questions more specifically-- yes, I’m in complete control over my own actions. There is nobody guiding me by remote, but the only proof I have is my word. As for what I was looking for in this presentation, well…” the android let a rather week shrug roll off her shoulders, “ ... I guess it’s a mixture of boredom and curiosity. I wanted to see what the Professor had to say, and it was more interesting than most of the other stuff there is to do around this city.” “ Oh, and my name is Savina. Pleasure to meet the both of ya!” wc: 946 twc: 3285 / 8000 Juni

Juniper’s cobalt eyes stared at Savina and what she was about to reveal. In the instant the android bolstered her power level, the color of her own eyes changed from a blue hue to a red briefly to focus on the seconds it took to detect the chakras that were not visible before, until now. It was all the Princess needed to determine the truth and she noticed it was not easy to do based on how the power level wavered into a flicker. It was fascinating to know that people existed in the world that were made of mechanical parts and still hold on to something that made them human in some sense. The sign of pain was realistic enough to wonder if her mysticism would still work on someone that was mostly robotic than organic. Usually she balanced an individual’s body by being able to see which chakra needed work, in this instance it seemed she could only apply her mysticism blindly, and she raised her hand to materialize a paint brush from another dimensional plane. At this point her companion Hachi escaped from her messenger bag and spat out ink into the air, which stopped in mid air hovering as if gravity had no effect, and she lured the ink towards her brush to draw out the sigil for heal and restoration.
“I am a mystic healer, I have never healed an android before, but if you allow me, I think this will still work---no, I am almost certain it would.” With a wave of her brush the sigils floated in front of Savina, “I am not sure which one you need so I drew up both. Just touch both of them, the effects I conjured will apply, either to restore your health condition, or restore expended ki.”
It seemed that there were unseen forces in both of their abilities, while Juniper could hear the whirring mechanical parts inside of Savina due to her demonic hearing, she did not know that her internal components were in the process of making repairs. Offering healing or granting a ki boost was all she could offer in this situation as it was a learning experience for anyone present.
“Professor Nimoy, she is telling the truth or she truly believes she is what she says, I only had a brief second to read her chakras.” She materialized the paint brush away and ordered her floating octopus to return inside her bag.
“Well, Miss Savina, it’s almost like you are one of the tangible proofs involving Tuffle technology, but it does not prove that your creators are from a different planet. What is needed is a spaceship that they used to arrive on earth hundreds of years ago. While I have not discovered such proofs, the absolute dating of the bunkers over the years does not match what capsule corp had developed during that time. While it is lucrative to think that such advanced technology would remain secret for so long, it was hundreds if not thousands of years ahead of its time.” Professor Nimoy, revealed the absolute dating data he uncovered on the projector screen from his tablet, displaying the dates and observations of what he has summarized and continued, “Other examples are blue prints of their spaceship, reports, maybe their source of fuel for interstellar travel. Anything that would make others believe that Tuffles and Saiyans are from a different planet. As it stands now, society does distinguish the different species of earth. Androids are seen as new age technology, Tuffle bunkers are seen as secret mad scientific experiments by our ancestors, and only medical professionals bother to understand the biological compositions of every race in order to treat their patients.”
He placed his tablet down, removed his glasses, cleaned them from the dust collected in the air, and put them back on his face with a sigh, “The Tuffle bunker I came across, was in the southern Islands, it was one my father had kept hidden until his passing. I learned to read the language from the reports my old man had hidden with the help of two of my colleagues. This was while attending West City University as students and we learned the Tuffle language after spending years on it. Rango became instantly famous for developing a decryptor of coded languages as a result, with his new fortune my android friend has been on a mission to recover more lost technology in the southern islands in hopes of applying improved technology schematics on himself as well as find the proof that I need, and he is my one and only investor of my ufology research. My other colleague is Professor Poblano Pepper but the last report I received was four months ago regarding a homing device of finding other bunkers based on a specialized signal...and with the suspicious bombing of the Poblano Laboratories, currently it's an ongoing investigation, I am at loss of any progress on that. So, we’re back to square one, and it seems like you might know the language, Miss Savina?”

A single brow slowly rose as Juni performed… well, what exactly she was performing was a bit of a mystery to Savina. It had an air of magic about it- not unlike Atalan’s demonstrations all those weeks ago, but it still seemed quite different. Fortunately, Juni bridged the gap in understanding a moment later by describing her talents as that of a healer. By the time she had finished drawing her healing runes and explaining what they might do, the Android had already lifted her hands and was shaking her head quite decisively. Magical things were difficult for her to understand and she didn’t have much of a desire to experience the effects of something so far beyond her understanding- at least, not by choice. There was no telling how restorative magics would affect her mechanical body, so if it resulted in the loss of function in a particular limb or, perish the thought, an entire subsystem, Savina would have no way to easily restore her functionality. Even transplanting her nervous system into another android body posed a high risk of death. “ I’ll, uh, have to pass on those. Don’t really know how they’d interact with all my mechanical parts, but more importantly… I do still have biological components, and I’m quite afraid that any kind of healing… well, magic, might try to restore the tissue around my nervous system. I imagine that would be quite painful, given that my nervous system is encased quite soundly in my mechanical components-- it’d be like trying to grow a body inside a body that already exists. Less like, y’know, birth and more like cancer. People-shaped cancer. Besides, the pain that I feel from powering up like that isn’t anything necessarily in need of ‘healing’. That happens because my ki normally blends seamlessly with energy produced by my energy core in controlled quantities, making me rather difficult to detect. But, when I force myself to flex like that, I’m forcing my raw nerves to produce and maintain a surge of ki. If I had to make a comparison, it’d be like… the difference between trickling a little cold water onto your hand and jumping into an ice lake,” she concluded with a sincere shrug. There was a distinct possibility that she was completely wrong about everything regarding her physiology and mechanical construction-- but the data had been uploaded directly to her brain and it had thus far proven fairly reliable. The professor’s re-entry into the conversation snagged Savina’s attention at least long enough for her to hear him out. Like the few other academics she had met, the man seemed to enjoy boasting about his feats and achievements- and those of his colleagues. She didn’t care much for the specifics of how they came to find the one bunker that they did, only where it was found and whether or not it was still inhabited. Both questions would have to go unanswered for a while longer yet. “ I really don’t think you’re strong enough to be poking around the bunkers like that, Professor. Of the two bunkers I’ve interacted with, one was sealed so tight that I couldn’t even bust my way in- and the other was full of experiments that’d be able to pretty easily rip you in half. I’m always one to encourage punching above your weight… but maybe not that far up. But… yes, I can read Tuffle text. No way I’d be standing here today if I couldn’t!” wc: 590 twc: 4722 / 8000 Juni

Professor Nimoy clears his throat, “Yes, Miss Savina, as educators we understand the risk of these Tuffle bunkers. In fact, my investor Rango, has hired the Saiyans I had shown you earlier for an expedition, he had been following them for quite some time using a built in scouter to detect and study their exuberant power levels before offering them a job. It is how I was able to show you the clips for my presentation this evening as we exchange quite a bit of analysis data with one another.” He turned to Juniper, “The magic arts are just as mysterious as ufology. I am grateful that my interests are in science because I would never be able to prove magic exists with scientific research as it is an anomaly to nature.”
It was awe inspiring to Juniper to hear Savina explain her mechanical composition and the concern she had with mixing mysticism with her body at the risk of being restored biologically. It was an absurd notion but she never tried to grow an entire limb before either, so it was worth trying someday. The tea princess smiled and half chuckled at the thought, it seemed impossible to restore limbs like that because there was a time limit. She reached out and touched the sigils which disappeared instantly and restored her own expended ki energy after making them for the Android.
“Over the years I discovered the limitations to my mystic powers. Say a finger was severed, if I use my mysticism immediately after, I can reattach it cleanly, which is better than a doctor’s ability without the constraint of time at an operating table. However, if the finger was cut a week ago there is a high probably that arteries and veins have decayed. Necrotic tissue would make for poor blood flow and oxygen and would cause more harm to the person with blood clots. In other words, unless you were born today, and made into a machine on the same day, it is near impossible to restore your organic composition. The only healing that would be applied is to mend the pain you may be suffering from, if nothing else needs to be restored, based on the passage of time even a partial organic body has restorative memory. Perhaps a better example would be if you ever find yourself in trouble, I can aid you in a fight, and apply my mysticism on any injuries you may suffer from in support, any healing I apply then would be limited to what it was before apart from the mechanical. I am not a fighter but a lover as people commonly say.” She mused and turned her attention to Professor Nimoy, “Anyways, back on the subject of Tuffle bunkers...what does that have in relation to Saiyans Professor? You went into great detail that Saiyans are aliens compared to other earthlings based on their fast development on earth. In Oolong city they are a nuisance of territorial gangs, which is not out of the ordinary, at least not in terms of yakuza specifically.”
The Professor reflected on what both Savina and Juniper had to say before he carried on, “Well, the additional bunker we did find near the one my father had discovered, had what we commonly refer to as a pickled saiyan, who is a Tuffle test subject under cryo sleep. The absolute dating on the saiyan was over 800 years old. Which is different from the Saiyans in Oolong City, whose absolute dating stops in their lineage at 400 years old, based on the diet of eating food native to the western lands at the time. Something happened between these two types of Saiyans long ago. I have theory they arrived on earth using different methods but I have no proof apart from their diets have changed since. Meaning the food they ate prior to 400 years ago is from their home planet. The change is quite dramatic in the study but it’s not sufficient evidence to the public. Professor Pobablano discovered the differences in nutrition by studying his own DNA back when I was a student, his daughter Pepper who is also a Professor is presently missing, he had been studying a saiyan’s ability to heal faster than most species on earth. For now, all our combined research over the years is just theory because the data is insufficient, if you two ever come across anything that would help unveil the truth, feel free to contact me at any time. Please save my contact information for the future.” Professor Nimoy adjusted his glasses on the bridge of his nose, picked up his tablet again, and displayed all of his contact information on the projector screen.
Juniper notated the information on a small notebook she pulled out of her skirt pocket. “Savina, would you be interested in finding Professor Poblano, Pepper? I believe we can learn more about Saiyans if we find her, since she is missing, maybe she is in danger like you suspected, especially after coming across Tuffle technology. What do you say?” [847] [5,569/8,000]

Post by Misaki Kazamiya on Jan 29, 2020 22:57:50 GMT -8
Misaki sat at the back of the class with a large smile on her face, still waiting to see if she'd correctly concealed her self. the whole "suppressing her ki" thing hadn't come naturally to her at all. The first few times she'd tried to suppress her ki, she simply imagined her energy passing back into her, hiding inside her body, and keeping quiet inside her. This was what lead to the first of several explosions that the police in this town were now looking for the answers for, the "West City Private Bomber". Luckily, there was no casualties, but the glut of coffee and tea shops that have exploded have painted a grim picture, leaving the popular chain "Mochi Rabbit" to blame as one of the principal fast-service Tea shop and desserts chains. How anyone thought that a tea shop had the capacity of mass havoc was unclear, but the accusations of industrial espionage did not care for the flimsy logic of "Common sense" or "Reasonable conclusions", only blood and vengeance. Even at this moment in central city, unrest was becoming more and more pronounced, and no barista was so foolish as to move without a piece on their person. One day, this coffee-shop aggression, real or imagined, would convert from a few simple angry voices into skirmishes, battles for the sanctity of their brews and blends, of their leaves and beans. Those who fought in this war would be known for countless acts of hedonism, bravery, vicious acts and heroic last stands - all completely unknown to the little florist that unwittingly caused them. This isn't the story about tea-shop skirmishes, though, so this brief historical note ends here. Instead, to focus on Misaki's continued training, she worked first by extending her senses outwards, feeling how other people felt and looked, not just the base strength inside of them. It took a week for her to really differentiate, but she felt like she understood so much more about it now, even if she didn't understand how she knew it. She could tell if someone's ki felt "good" or "evil" from a feel, though she wasn't entirely sure what the exacts were, or why she was certain on which ki was good or evil. it just made sense to her, like knowing that something is red or blue, or how to move her left or right foot. Feeling stuff like age, race, or stability... that was a lot harder. She hadn't got a huge hang of it yet. what it had taught her was that her ki had previously been incredibly unstable. compared to just a little while ago, she'd managed to hold onto so much more for herself just by realizing that she'd simply been chucking the vast majority of her old power into the ether. She imagined, if someone had the eyes to see as much, it probably looked like her energy simply bled off like water falling out of a bucket, pouring out around her, back into the world. With only a little training, she'd refined that energy, pulled it back to herself, and now... as one final test, she'd decided to see if she could hold it for the space of an entire lecture. She wasn't enrolled in this particular university class, of course, but there was a certain magic to going somewhere with a swagger that said "I belong here", that allowed many to go wherever they wish. While Misaki was not privy to this fact, the confidence she tended to carry everywhere she walked, at least until actually spoken to, showed in this fashion, and no one was willing to ask the scary florist just when she'd enrolled. And so, the Gardener sat in the back of the class, silently humming with a pleased look on her face... until now. this was really... Really... Really...!Getting difficult! The Gardener clutched tightly to her parasol as she felt the energy build. a few hours was her limit at the moment, she guessed, and she knew if she didn't let go... ' Nope. Not exploding again!' instead, the Gardener let out a very loud exhalation of air as golden energy suddenly bathed the area, golden ki knocking several loose chairs around and scattering the professor's paper as Misaki tried to get her own power in order. the energy swirled like waves, flowing through the area, before slowly rolling back, forming in an orb, before wreathing the Gardener's aura. With a few deep breaths, Misaki managed to reduce it to a simple skintight outline, before finally willing it to turn invisible, if not to enhanced senses then at least to basic eyesight, before getting up out of her chair. "...One moment, please. I just... need to use the washroom-" The woman tried as a poor attempt at walking away from the conversation, before actually looking up at the conversation going on. She hadn't really been able to sense ki very well the first time they'd met, so she hadn't recognized Juni at first, but now, seeing her, she could finally put a name to the signature. "...Miss Juniper. It's good to see you again!" Misaki would add with a smile. "as well as your friend with the strange feeling. speaking of, so this is how your ki feels? It's... strange." She'll add after a second, looking a little confused by the feeling. it just had... something she wasn't used to feeling. although she also felt it frequently, it almost seemed like? Almost... friendly. Familiar. The girl shook her head, pulling herself out of her own concerns, And snapped back to attention, giving a slightly nervous smile. "I... Appear to have interrupted something important. I'm terribly sorry about that. Perhaps we could talk once your business is done, though?" The Gardener asked, looking happy to see her recent friend. They hadn't interacted since the tea house, but she appreciated her warmth, as well as the ability to talk with someone else who was, well, strong. "...And if you need help gathering up those papers, I'd be more than happy to oblige." The gardener would quickly add to the waiting professor. [1021 words] [6,590/8,000] Juni

Professor Nimoy instinctively picked up the loose sheets of paper, it was nothing important apart from notes, and an outline class syllabus for all of the students who were in attendance before they left due to disbelief on the subject. After he finished he nodded at Misaki, “Ah, I was unaware there was another student. Well, I am glad you attended the class to the end, I hope you have new insight on what the future might be like if we uncover the truth about ufology. Um, you mentioned wanting to go to the washroom? It’s down the hall to your left, hard to miss, it is next to this lecture room.”
“Misaki-san.” Juniper smiled, again the green haired woman’s chakra was visibly being suppressed, and her expression changed as it seemed the gardener was Internally suffering; increasing her concern that something might be wrong. The tea princess looked over to the front of the classroom again. “Well, it seems I have a more urgent matter to attend to. Savina, please contact me if you decide to look for Professor Poblano, I will send Professor Nimoy my contact information, so you can retrieve it from him.” She turned to leave, “It was nice meeting you both. Thank you for the lecture, I have learned quite a bit about Saiyans, Tuffles, and...Androids though it may not have been the primary topic it is worth knowing that ki can still be utilized being partly organic. Please take care.”
After climbing the stairs leading up to the top of the amphitheater structured room towards the main hall of the building, she held the door open for Misaki to step through, and then closed the door to the classroom behind them. Cobalt eyes peered down both ends of the hall and materialized a paint brush in her hand once the area was clear. While it seemed that the Gardener was in control of her ki signature, it was sporadic, and it fluctuated from low to high at odd random intervals. It seemed that Misaki developed more than double her power level from the last time they conversed in Oolong City but something beyond that was amiss as far as she could tell.
“What is the matter? Your chakras are quite imbalanced compared to the last time I took a glance. It also appears that you are blocking your own ki. Why is that? It is rather dangerous to carry on with blocked ki especially upon expenditure. I am a mystic healer and I can help you if you allow it.” Juniper began to roll up the sleeves of her maroon sweater, with pink ruffled hemmed sleeves, eager to be of assistance, and then assured Misaki further. “My techniques are not physical, it is simply a matter of being allowed to apply my mysticism, and what your symptoms have been today. Do you recall when the problem began?”

Misaki blinked a few times, a little confused about what Professor Nimoy was saying. Lecture to the... Oh, right! They were having a class in here, after all, weren't they? Misaki was so focused on holding her power level down she'd completely missed anything else about the room. She thought he was teaching about... saucers? Ceramics? Right! And something about Tuff... Tuff... Toughness? What did that have to do with UFO's? What even was a UFO? Was it some new animal she'd never heard of?
Misaki smiled and nodded, hiding her anxiety as Professor Nimoy thanked her. "Thank you, Professor Nimoy. Yes, I learned quite a bit during this class. Yes, I hope we can make a wonderful future out of the world we can make together with UFO's!" Misaki responded confidently, hoping against hope that everything she just said didn't sound insane and hopefully close up the conversation a little bit. he was busy with packing, after all. maybe he'd only half-hear her?
Climbing the stairs together with Juniper, as she spoke of some urgent matter that required her attention, Misaki idly wondered what could possibly be urgent at a time like this? Maybe she was just a little tired and wanted to finish up the conversation? Or maybe it was something else...
Either way, Misaki couldn't give it her full attention, as she focused once again on suppressing her own power. It was a little easier now that she'd had a break, but sweat was still pouring off the young gardener as she headed up the stairs, and it had nothing to do with the exertion of walking up the steps. As it was, she was grateful for when Juniper opened the door for her - at this rate, she was concerned that if she grabbed onto the door handle, she might accidentally break if if her ki spiked accidentally. That wasn't a bill Misaki was quite equipped to pay for.
As Juniper brought her paint-brush up, Misaki was briefly concerned this would get aggressive. she didn't want to fight Juniper, at least, not like this, but the Girl quickly made clear her concerns and issues.
"My chakras are... imbalanced?" Misaki asked curiously. she didn't truly understand Chakras the way Juniper did, only half-understanding the idea. it seemed all a bit of a complicated thing at the end of the day, and she had other subjects to learn about... although, if it was affecting her health, maybe she needed to understand it more than she thought? hmm.
"I'm... not sure about my chakras." Misaki will say after a moment. "As for my Ki... I was recently beaten by a shapeshifter in the southern lands. I was walking through a few demon villages, when suddenly, an aggressive landowner launched herself at me." She explained, before giving a shrug. "We ended up fighting after I pointed out destroying a building without permit was against the law, and I found myself... fully copied. She was a shapeshifter, and she used my own techniques and abilities against me... it wasn't one-sided, but I don't think I had much of a chance to win." Misaki admitted. "but after seeing her fighting style, it made me wonder if maybe, if I trained, I could get stronger than I already was, and so I worked on a few things. I tried out push-ups and pull-ups for the first time, experimented with how I could shape my own ki, and... well, I noticed she could actually make her power go lower than it really was when she started the fight, so I decided I would see if I could do the same thing. I don't think I'm very good at it yet, though." Misaki would admit.
After she stopped, Misaki would add "...Goodness, I might have been going on a little long. I think, if any symptoms were had... I did notice feeling strange after speaking with my father on the payphone, on the way here." Misaki added after a moment with a thoughtful expression. "I don't know if that would have anything to do with it, though." She'd admit with a small shrug.
As Juniper explained her healing procedure, Misaki would nod. "It's fine. After all, plants need to be taken care of if they're sick - even if the plant doesn't realize it. It's the same for humans, at least, I think."

Juniper quietly listened to Misaki’s experience which was reminiscent in her explanation, the gardener had learned from a fight against a doppelgänger, and unlocked more ki quicker than she could handle. Perhaps it was her human side that was unable to tame her cesspool of enriched demonic powers and the Tea Princess could relate to that matter being a half demon herself. However, it seemed without proper training the greenette was having difficulty containing her power level and was suppressing it in such a way that she would implode ki through her aura alone. With the stroke of the paint brush, still coated in ink from Hachi, she drew a sigil to release the suppression instantly. The mystic symbol phased right through Misaki, it was like uncapping a raging storm of ki energy, which became vacuumed into a pocket dimension with a wave of Juniper’s free hand to prevent the hallway of the university from being destroyed.
“Everyone is born with chakra’s, it is how ki is channeled throughout our bodies, and defines who you are as a person based on the condition of those ki channels.”
Another sigil was quickly painted in mid-air shortly after, which floated into Misaki’s chakras to rebalance the ki channels so that it flowed evenly from her the tip of her green hair down to her toes.
“The best remedy for your condition is to continue to train through sparring. I am afraid after your last encounter your demonic blood has reacted from the experience. It is a matter of health, even a shark must continue swimming for its entire lifetime or be at risk asphyxiation. Without training your body and your spiritual energy control at the same time your body will not be able to harness the spiritual energy within it and without, that is to say that ki is the oxygen to your body-- essential for living. In the meantime, if you ever need further treatments contact me right away. I will gladly be of assistance as it helps me hone my talents as a mystic healer.”
