Southgate Village sounded like it would be a nice, relaxed, fair ground like experience given what Cayle had heard of of the premier theme park on the planet. Yet he had assumed wrong from the name Southgate Village, as to what this gate of the theme park would be like. On both sides from the multi-lane highway which had a road into and out of Pilafland, there were rows and rows and rows and rows of brutally built concrete buildings with tunnel connections mid-air between them. Each side of the highway had a sign that said 'Southgate Village' on it, and they were only connected by a building which dwarfed any of the apartment tenements or indoor malls or garage buildings which made up the 'village' of Southgate. A building which in its sheer height and sheer width combined was the largest that Cayle had ever seen. His own knowledge of bunkers and the methods of warfare suspected that it could take a direct energy blast, perhaps one from an Oozaru Monster, and survive without much damage. Perhaps it could even take a nuclear blast, he was not entirely sure- but given that it had connected garages and the cars driving into the facility were not visibly driving in, he suspected it could survive most disasters without issue. What kind of money did the Pilaf Corporation have if it could afford such a building, or as he actually walked forward in the line on the sidewalk for the pedestrian entrance to the theme park, such a wall that was behind it. It went up over a mile and a half in height, with gunnery slits in places and steel doors to close off entry through those methods. The wall itself spread across the horizon on both sides, and Cayle was fairly certain from the thickness of the tunnels ahead, that it likely could have held every employee of the company within quarters in those walls, if Pilafland wished it- and that was saying something, given the 'employees' of Pilafland were in a larger number than any other corporation in the entire world, given the nature of Pilafland itself, being a quasi-megatropolis combined with a theme park with seven sections, and being a sovereign state which grew its own food, built its own, equipment, and protected its own borders- yes, even from the like of raids from the Demonlands. If any demons wanted into Pilafland? They had to pay a ticket just like anyone else. The Saiyan former farm boy waited patiently as they strode through the pedestrian line, preparing the paper receipt which he had for having purchased a full week pass for Pilafland for himself and Tiger Lily via the internet purchasing option. Soon, they were almost in the building which itself was the 'South Gate' of South Gate Village, but before they entered it, Cayle noticed a massive neon sign on both sides of the wall behind the building. He was not sure how Tiger Lily would feel about this, but anticipating her excitement even made him excited, if only a little. Dressed in a dark blue track suit with white stripes and brown traveling boots aside from the clothes which he had packed in his bags for the trip, he patiently trudged forward in the line, despite the fact that 'lining up to get anywhere' and moving patiently was largely alien for him, though he had seen customers do it at the food trucks of Taco King. Finally, Tiger Lily’s long awaited dream was coming true, and despite being caught in a long line of epic proportions for the grand entrance, she was bouncing off her white sneakers gingerly in anticipation. This was the reason why she ran away from home in the first place, to explore this magical kingdom, and forego focusing on her home school final exams before committing towards attending South City University. With her mother’s permission she was allowed to leave home, after Cayle returned to her home island to discover the truth about her heritage, that she was a half saiyan, and that she needed to train properly to venture the world safely on her own. Achido was the first person she ever sparred with, followed by an android who was tampering with the evidence of a crime scene, and Cayle’s attempt at training; it was not the best experience but it seemed like she learned a lot and so did Achido despite taking a brutal beating. Fortunately, her best friend was still alive, and they had all the motivation to beat Cayle someday together in a rematch.
“Sorry for running late to meet you, I figured I could do one last job testing a new motorcycle with Achido, so we all had enough zeni to afford this trip. I know you offered to pay for some of the expenses but it was my idea and I should contribute where I can.” Ty grinned at Cayle still excited about being able to step foot inside Emperor Pilaf’s castle once they were done lining up in queue. “So what attraction do you want to do first? I ordered an extra large park map online in the form of a giant towel, since I have trouble looking at the small print, and towels have great practical value when traveling.”
The orange haired teen unrolled her towel from her black backpack, it was the size of a typical beach towel, she held it up for boyfriend to look at and determine if there was anything that caught his attention. With a soft chuckle she continued, “You can pick first, because I know you’re not fully convinced at being a fan of Emperor Pilaf but maybe you will be if your first experience is worth treasuring forever. Most importantly, I want to go into the Magic Castle, it is full walk through museum of all the technology that was built in search of the magical dragon balls. I was originally going to major in Engineering at university but becoming a ninja like Shu, Emperor Pilaf’s right hand Shiba Inu beastman, sounds like a lot of fun!”

Wuubi was having quite the bout of trouble with Pilaf land. After the slight bit of fun testing out some of the rides, on the grounds that they were vantage points with which to help Yakun look for the man himself, she had tried to find the man on foot herself. It wasn’t like there weren’t enough images and iconography of the great emperor around the place, constant cartoons about his struggles against some monkey boy provided some interesting entertainment as well.
Do you know of this monkey boy as well Yakun? Did they just make him up for the story?
It really doesn’t matter, what matters is finding Pilaf. He had a rather interesting information chain that we need to make use of.
Oh, is that why we are here? What do we need to know?
He didn’t respond, though he’d actually told her why he was seeking someone of power for the first time. He must have started to trust her a little more after having fun with those motorcycles and her not making a complete butt of herself when it was all over. She’s sort of met some people who were headed this way as well so there was a fair chance she’d bump into them again, that’d be nice. Until that happened however she was focused on finding the emperor. Thankfully it wasn’t too hard. She’d spotted him rather easily, or at least she had thought it was him. Rather quick questioning turned out that it was some kind of human inside a costume that had no idea where the real deal was.
Having to pause for thought, she spotted what appeared to be shu, his right hand ninja and attempted to ask him questions as well, this went just as poorly. When she placed a hand on his should to get his attention he’d jumped in shock and his ear had knocked wuubi in the face, causing her some embarrassment as she stumbled backwards before realising that he was also a person in a fake costume since the ears were made of some kind of plastic. Another fake. Clearly this emperor made strong use of fakes to keep people off his tracks. No wonder Yakun figured that it would be difficult to find him even in a land named after him. Wuubi was stuck to a degree. She couldn’t just keep hassling the body doubles, it would make the real Pilaf very suspicious of her, there had to be a better way to find him.

Cayle was nothing if not an avid learner and reader. In the few months that he had been on the Planet Earth, the Saiyan had spent his time reading books and websites, watching television and movies. He hadn't spent much time watching Pilaf Cartoons or reading the Pilaf comics which existed, both because he was almost always busy- sleeping only about four hours a day because he had so much living and freedom to catch up on- and because he was not exactly enthused with the premise. He had seen enough Tuffle propaganda to know a story which was fishy, and given he had a very strong feeling that the 'monkey tailed boy' that was within the story of the cartoons was in fact a Saiyan, and more than that, might very well be Son Goku or Kakarot, one of those figures at least. Given the existence of a pig man, samurai, bandit, clever blue haired girl, and numerous others in both franchises, it almost seemed as if the two groups were telling their own sides of a complex and many volume covering story.
So as they moved through the line to exchange the receipts for their previously bought tickets for lanyards with their passes and advanced plastic wrist straps which worked as both electronic wallets which came per-loaded with an amount of Zeni which they decided on when buying the package and could be refilled at one of the thousands upon thousands of automated teller machines located across the park, and when they were moving up in the line, Tiger Lily apologized to him for being late to their initial meeting point, going so far to explain it as trying to earn extra money alongside of Achido, then asking him what -he- wanted to do at the park. The Saiyan tried to keep a chipper face, but there was no keeping up with the exuberance of Tiger Lily. Even if he was the exact same age as her, instead of presumably a few years older than her, he was not mentally the same age- having been matured by force. He also didn't have an undying and rabid love for Pilaf, or any other Earth fandom.
“The Towel is a smart idea, but as to where we go, I don't particularly have an opinion. We're doing this for your birthday after all, Tiger Lily, and as such you should be able to pick at least the first few attractions we go to.”
By the time that she had pulled out the towel proper from her bag and showed him it as they walked forward, they were interrupted by the exchanging of their receipts for the actual badges and wrist wallets, and when that passed they continued forward in the line. Cayle adjusted his duffle bag on his shoulder slightly, and when Tiger Lily added on to their conversation, he waited to respond further, before thinking on his own research of the types of martial arts and warfare applied by the various races of the Planet Earth, and knowing a little bit about the Ninja topic both because they were among Carlos Alfonso's favorite types of martial artists and because of just having researched them, he immediately was struck with what Tiger Lily said. Sometimes, she really was Naive, sometimes- just as Kiryu Miyazawa had mentioned during the four way fight that Cayle had been in with Kiryu, Melody, Atalan, and himself.
“Tiger Lily, you should study to be an engineer if you have a knack and interest. It is after all one of the fundamental tools of anyone attempting to use ninjutsu- and your hero Pilaf uses how many different contraptions and robots to adventure with? He'd never have been able to make those if he didn't study engineering.”
Cayle Pota, son of Pota Potaset, was attempting to grow his knowledge in every way that he could, and had not ignored engineering. He had already read four text books on the matter because he planned on building a modern settlement on an island for he and his fellow Saiyans, one which could easily fit in with any modern Earthling settlement on the planet.
“With that said, I'd like to see the technology museum too, because it'd be interesting to see what was real and what was the fabrication of fiction.” By then, they were through the turnstiles and Cayle gave a slight hug to Tiger Lily after they were able to step out of the way of the line.
“Here's hoping that you have an excellent birthday vacation, and we don't run into any particular hijinks.”
The fact that there was so much propaganda against someone like himself, who had a monkey tail, and that there was so much technology around this place, made him somewhat suspicious of Tuffle connections to the area and to Pilaf himself, but he did not bother to say that to Tiger Lily. He had already seen enough of the red headed girl screaming at him because of her opinions not matching up with his or her thinking he had 'over done it' to know better than to bad talk her favorite franchise, and for that matter, he did not want to spoil her happiness. It was a treasure after all, one to be guarded, to be able to be as happy as she seemed to naturally be. A treasure he hoped for all Saiyans of the next generation to be able to enjoy.

After the test run with the Motorcycles, Rihito decided to not head back just yet and explore these lands a bit more. And well, that lead him to the entrance of the outstanding Pilaf Land! He'd been hearing about it each time he entered town, and even seen commercials about it on television. It looked way amazing than what people said about it, Rihito had to just go in there and look around! The thing is...he didn't have any money on him, he left it at home within the confines of his drawer. So if he wanted to get inside, then he'd have to somehow sneak inside. But how is the question? There were two in his mind. Either still someone's pass somehow, or go in around the main maintenance entrance. Both of the two were risky, but being caught trying to steal someone's things was embarrassing. That and the fact that he wasn't that type of guy. This meant that the maintenance entrance would have to. After a bit of walking, Rihito eventually came upon a door containing a symbol of gears, meaning that it was none other than the entrance within the engineering room.
Of course, it needed a keycard in order to push down the handle and open the door. Since Rihito didn't have that, he decided to just force the handle down with his superior strength and break the lock, forcing the door to open for him. Now he was arriving at the hard part...not getting caught by anyone or the cameras. There were multiple choices for him to hide from the camera or a worker if needed; walls, boxes, and more. Crouching down and remaining as low as possible, the teen proceeded through swiftly, coming up with the idea of using his blood to dirty the camera and forbid it of sight. It seemed that all the workers were busy having a meeting within the break room, this was a perfect advantage for him. A stairway was within his eyes. One that he assumed would lead him out of the room and into the amusement park that he wanted to see so badly. So far, his day had been going terrible, but if he were to do this successfully, then all his worries would go away.
"Pilaf Land...here I come baby!"
Those words were yelled by Rihito who had forgot that he wasn't supposed to be within this room. By the time the workers cane out to see where the noise came from, Rihito would already be out the door and downstairs managing to get into the lively crowd below the building. For now, he just roamed about, looking around at amazement at all the rides he could've got on if he bought along enough money.
Walking around with his hands resting within his pockets and his body slightly slumped over, a familiar person eventually came in the boy's sight. If he recalled correctly...the girl at the test run had the same hair color and outfit as the one he was currently staring at did, so could it be her...? There was only one way to find out, and that was by speaking of course. He walked up to the girl and placed a hand on her shoulder from behind in order to get her attention.
"Yo, you're uh..Wu or something like that, yeah? I'm the guy from the race if you dont recall me."

Cayle’s lack of interest for her childhood idol crushed her, it was obvious that being different in age and maturity made them incompatible, and she wanted to enjoy this trip knowing that her boyfriend also wanted to be here. Rather than allow her mood being changed on the matter she forced a smile and nodded.
“Magical castle first it is, it is not hard to miss when it's in the middle of the theme park, and maybe you can decide which of his machinations would be great to ride in first.”
When Cayle told her to study engineering, she grumbled at that point, he should have known that she quit studying by being out here. On top of all that she had been spending all her time trying to get stronger with Achido as her sparring partner for life. It seemed that only her best friend understood her desire to become stronger rather than waste away studying. How else was she ever going to keep up with Cayle if she was forced to study instead? There was no way in HFIL that she was going to change all that now.
“Hijinks is what I live for!” Ty found herself with a renewed determination going through the turns aisle and had a hop to her step once they went through bag checked by security. With stars in her eyes she began walking up to different storefronts, food vendors, and people dressed up as Emperor Pilaf and his gang. With her c-phone out she began taking so many pictures of everything in view in a newfound excitement leaving Cayle far behind as got carried away.
Without taking a second glance she bumped her head on Rihito’s mid-back, “Oh my! I am so sorry! I took my glasses off for a second coz I had some dust in my eye, eh? Rihito...and Wuubi! Wow! I didn’t know you guys were headed to the Magical Kingdom of Pilaf Land! What a coincidence! I had to rush back home for my boyfriend…” She turned around and saw that Cayle was struggling through a crowd of people. “Hey! Cayle what are you doing over there, come here, and meet my new friends!”

The Saiyan former farm boy simply walked with Tiger Lily as she excitedly bobbed from place to place, taking pictures of mascots and cosplayers alike, and beyond that he was silent, letting Tiger Lily do her thing and simply smiling at her own excitement, despite the hassle of going through the bag checks and having one of the security guards hassle him for a moment for his tail, which they thought like Tiger Lily's uncle Toad Lily was some sort of prop or prosthetic.
At the sudden group of people that separated the overly excited half-Saiyan and her rather dour full Saiyan counterpart, Cayle simply grimaced, trying to push his way and excuse himself without bowling people over or knocking them over by doing something like powering up. Despite Tiger Lily's demand her hurry over, Cayle took his time to get there thanks to not wanting them to get thrown out of the park for using his powers in a way which harmed park goers.
More people he did not know, more humans, which were apparently 'Tiger Lily's friends' with him having never heard of them or had them mentioned to him, even during the hours they had flown to Pilaf Land together over the South seas. The Saiyan fought back a frown for Tiger Lily's sake, before giving a nod. “I am Cayle Pota, son of Pota Potaset, himself son of Potaset Potaset.” he didn't even finish the full heralding of his lineage, because he didn't have it in him. Something bothered him about how little Tiger Lily knew about him even after six weeks of being 'dating' and making plans together. He would be surprised if she even knew what his favorite Earth food was, and yet she seemed to regularly have more and more secrets and associates he had never heard of or met. If they were meant to share their lives with one another, they needed to share it, no?
But he did not say a word of his actual feelings, or display his emotions. The icy blue eyed Saiyan stood there with his eyes moving in a calculating way, but didn't bother to say anything else. Initially, Tiger Lily had planned this to be a trip between the two of them. Then she had forced Achido along as well, and now she mysteriously had even more friends along. Did she really even care if Cayle was here? It was a worrisome thought.

Wuubi was at a loss, and as seemed to be becoming quite noticeable. Yakun was not being very helpful, finding her struggles to be entertaining and allowing them to continue for now. Try as she might she was lacking in ideas really. She couldn’t just keep accosting these body doubles, especially since she had already attracted what might be negative attention from the folk in uniform. They looked similar to the one that she had met guiding traffic beforehand and had given her directions but these were watching her with none of the formers smile and light hearted feeling.
As she weighed up her options on the matter a hand was placed on her shoulder. Causing the girl to go into a panic, trying to slip out from under the hand and her energy rose slightly ready to defend herself if needed. Though as she heard the voice it became a lot clearer that she didn’t need to worry as much as she did. The person that had been rude enough to grab her had been someone she’d met before, not a huge amount of time ago at that. He’d recognised her from the rather horrifying experience riding that monstrous bike.
“Oh, yes. I’m sorry but I didn’t retain your name either. It began with an R rig-?”
She was interrupted by another person bumping into the back of Rihito causing Wuubi to startle a little once again, but this person too seemed to be friendly, and indeed another person from the biking race. Wuubi didn’t recall the name too well either. It hadn’t seemed too important at the time to remember them since she wasn’t going to live all that long. Once Yakun meet with Pilaf and they fixed the failures of the cult she would be given her final reward and these people wouldn’t matter.
“Hello again, it’s a pleasure to see you both, and I’m sure we would love to meet your friend.”
There was such a thing as a proper upbringing however, even if they were unimportant folk. Clearly they deserved her attention and a little time since she was unsure of how to progress at this stage. Maybe exploring this land of Pilaf would be easier with them.
That’s actually good thinking. Those with power tend to attract one another. It’s no co-incidence that you are all gathering here despite the size of the park. They can oft feel one another’s presence, Pilaf is an awkward one because his power comes from what he owns. Not his own personal strength, it’s much harder to detect.
Wait a moment, does her boyfriend have a tail?
“I’ve been looking for the one in charge of this land, he goes by Pilaf if I’m not mistaken. There is something I wish to speak with him about. What brings all of yourselves here? Also mister Cayle, are you the monkey tailed boy from the Pilaf cartoon being displayed here?”

Post by Tenkami on Dec 16, 2019 14:05:12 GMT -8
Woah!
Wow!
Shiny!
Yummy nummy!
While she might've landed in the Southern Lands, her first meaningful step into the civilized life on Earth happened to be the eccentric and extremely odd land known only as 'Pilaf Land'. The sights she saw were absolutely astonishing, all of these people had so much going on that it floored her. She didn't even know what all of this stuff was, or how it could possibly be! Trees didn't make these glowing lights, or light at all! Was there fire in them? Leaning forward, one eye squinted as she got worryingly close to a neon light- thankfully not receiving any damage to her eyes as a result of such proximity. A smile was wide over her face as she meandered through the attractions. Though nothing, absolutely nothing could have prepared her for the culinary overload that was properly cooked and prepared food. At one particular stand she stood, pointing at what looked... Weird?
"Hey- hey! What is that?" She asked, pointing towards a pizza inside of a gently rotating pizza display case. Looking towards her, the staff member took a double take as even among Beastmen, Namekians, Saiyans and all she looked weird- and if not weird, outright stacked. Tenkami towered at seven and a half feet tall, but she looked anything but lanky. She was incredibly strong, with a formidable body. Though, well... She wore clothes, so it wasn't all on display. Her biceps alone were nearly as wide as modest trees. Intimidating, foreign, weird, overwhelming, a lot of things could apply to the shocked face on the employee as they stammered out the answer to her question. Her skin was a flat gray, she sported a Saiyan head of hair with wicked upright spikes and dark black eyes with small fractured blue irises at the center.
"U-u-uhm ma-ma'am that's our specialty Pizza here at Piece o' Pizza. It's got u-uhm perperoni's made from uh pepperoni stuff a-and ch-" He would be cut off as she leaned in towards it, sniffing. "What's pizza? It smells good, can I eat it?" She asked with a blink, looking to her right at the employee. Already she was sort of reaching over the stand and towards the case to open it up.
"H-hey! You can't do that ma'am." He said, attempting to push back against her arm. Though it didn't budge, the employee sliding back further. "You have to pay for it! Then you can have it!" He shouted, which made Tenkami withdraw her arm and raise a brow. "Pay for it? What's pay? Like... 'You'll pay' kind of pay? I'm even forgetting what that means because I just said it like four times in three sentences and the word's starting to feel like it's not real and I'm... Wait wait so- explain pay please." She said, blinking.
"Uh, you use zeni-" He was cut off again.
"Then why didn't you just say you need to give me Zeni! That makes so much sense, ugh. If you would've started with that I wouldn't have had to ask so many questions and aaaaaagh!" She reached her hands up to both sides of her head, ruffling her hair as steam blew out of her ears like a train, whistle and all. "Okay okay lucky for you I am like super packing some Zeni." She said, reaching a hand to fetch out a massive wad of it. She just slapped it down.
"I demand all of your pizza."
And the rest was history, until a point came where Tenkami was walking around with multiple boxes of pizza almost perfectly balanced on one palm while she nommed slice after slice with a gleeful expression. There must've been at least ten boxes, all steaming with warm heat. Unbeknownst to her, she'd been smelling something else of interest. Something... Relatable. Which is what found her at a collision course with other powerful fighters, peering passed the pizza boxed as she felt they were within sight.
"Huh? Want some yummy nummies?" She asked the group at large, an index finger pointing at the boxes paired with an innocent expression.

As soon as Cayle arrived, she stepped back to let everyone talk to one another, and her concept of making friends was distorted. When she first met Achido, she challenged him to spar because he was wearing a gi, and were instantly friends after being unable to out match each other. Meeting Cayle involved an accidental kiss when he attempted to fly and scooped her off the ground to avoid injury, which she cried about because it was her first meaningful kiss apart from her parents; it was later decided to be a couple because they got along so well. The truth was, she never got the chance to hang out with either Wuubi or Rihito after the race, and she felt that there was no way HFIL that she would make enemies of people close in age. As everyone’s attention was on Cayle’s tail, Tiger Lily turned around, and was gone from the scene again just a few feet away.
In her excitement of walking the grounds of her childhood dream, she was easily overwhelmed, and distracted by anything that moved, glittered, and most importantly smelled delicious. A tall seven foot grey skinned woman was holding boxes of hot pizzas, she was also well toned, and Ty almost fell backwards just looking up at her stature.
“Wow! A pizza box costs 50,000 zeni each and you have so many!” Ty was hopping on her feet in excitement, almost running in place, especially since the grey offered to share, “I will gladly take a slice, I couldn’t budget any pizza while saving up for this trip, and it smells amazing. My name is Tiger Lily, what’s yours?”

“That story took over four hundred years ago according to mathematics and history, if it even happened at all.” The Saiyan curtly responded to Tiger Lily's friend, Wuubi. He wasn't even dressed in some sort of Gi like the kid was always dressed in when appearing in the series. He highly doubted that the story of Pilaf's adventures happened exactly as Pilaf Entertainment tried to say it did, as well.
The dark brown haired, icy blue eyed Saiyan was a very dour man at times, yes, but he was also polite whenever he could be. “It's nice to meet you, Wuubi, but uh... no? I assume that one of Pilaf's grandchildren or something run Pilaf Land, but I have no idea who actually runs the place, and that's saying something.” Not that he had a vast amount of information, but though he had not told Tiger Lily such, Taco King had recently won a contract to open a few dozen restaurants within Pilaf Land, and the company had spent the money to rapidly build a few locations already before missing out on the coveted Winter Season vacationers. “Why do you need to talk to the person who runs Pilaf Land?”
He would have likely introduced himself to the other human who was present as well, if it was not for the fact that he smelled a familiar smell, and turned from the group to find himself facing a very strange question. The woman looked almost familiar, but he had never seen a person who was gray before, either. Why did she smell vaguely like a Saiyan? The six foot four inches tall Saiyan former farm boy was somewhat confused by it all, but didn't bother to outright ask her if she was part Saiyan. That would be rude. He felt an immense power level from this woman, so found himself wondering even more about this woman than her strange mannerisms, even to someone such as he, who was a stranger in this strange land.
“If you want to give us a slice of this Pizza thing, sure, I will take one...” he had only ate cold pizza from Tiger Lily's house before, generally the foods that he had ate since waking up on Earth were home made things or food directly made for him by the restaurant he worked at. He had no particular preference for Earth food, though there were many that he liked.

Wuubi was rather surprised by Cayle, from how Tiger lily had acted she had expected him to be another excitable character but instead he seemed quite sombre and serious which was as it should be. A worth while attribute to be sure, a person like that she always had time for. Though the number of people of power in the area was starting to get slightly under Yakun’s nerves. Almost like he hadn’t expected such strength in one location so quickly. However he wasn’t sayinganything to Wuubi so she assumed she was fine to converse with them all. The worry that Pilaf and the story he was in was over four hundred years ago did bring her to some worry however.
“Oh, four hundred years. Would Pilaf have lived that long? I may have made a mistake in coming here. I was hoping he would help me with a problem, according to an old friend he or someone he can put me in contact with can fix a ritual that was started and went a little awry.”
She caught the smell of pizza and smiled before giving a confused little head tilt at the person that was carrying the boxes, that wasn’t right surely? Oh wait, it must be another of the people within the big costumes that had been walking about the place. She relaxed a little as Tiger lilly seemed quite happy to chat with them as well, but Wuubi could feel the power emanating from this one. None of the other mascot characters had felt even remotely this strong. The exclamation about the price of the pizza only made alarm bells ring in Wuubi’s head. Why was someone coming out of the blue and offering such an expensive item.
“I’ll have to decline the kind offer. I have eaten quite a lot of the food here and don’t think I could manage another bite. It smells absolutely delicious though. I didn’t realise the mascots here did delivery of the food? It’s a very convincing costume though, much better than the other ones I’ve seen so far.”

"Yeah, it's Rihito-"
Out of nowhere, Rihito felt something hit his back, forcing him to stumble forward. He was standing in front of Wuubi, so if he didn't stop himself quickly then...! His face stopped inches away from the woman in front of him, one foot was slightly lifted off the ground while the other crushed down firmly to ensure that the boy wouldn't go any further than where he already was. With an audible sigh of pure relief that an "anime protagonist moment" didn't happen; his upper body was lifted upright, thus regaining him his original stature. Whoever the person was, he assumed it was just some random guy or girl who didn't watch where they were going - which was understandable, seeing as how the scenery would take anyone's proper mindset. Still, he couldn't help himself not to turn around in curiosity and get a glance at them, that was when his brown eyes widened.
This was the second person that was at the race he'd seen at the amusement park; he didn't get a chance to remember her name, so he couldn't even guess it. All he could do was give a warm smile at her with his free hand rubbing his neck, the other still within his pocket.
"Damn, I really wasn't expecting to see the both of you y here. And uh...sorry, I wasn't able to catch your name. Wait, you have a boyfriend...?"
Rihito was surprised at her words, though it was expected. She was cute and had a nice personality, what healthy male wouldn't be attracted to such a girl? Just thinking about how beautiful she was made Rihito's cheeks light up, but he dispersed the thought with a shake of his head and focused back on the conversation at hand. A quick glance was given at her boyfriend who introduced himself who looked normal aside from his tail - but his entire attention was on the abnormal woman who arrived with a box of pizza in her hand...no, there wasn't just one box, there were many…!?! It reminded him that he was still hungry, not having nothing but a piece of toast to satisfy his hunger for the morning. And it was around the afternoon, so that was half a day without a proper meal; if he were to eat an entire box, than that'd surely make up for breakfast, lunch, and probably dinner. Who'd blame him for dashing at her like some sort of wild animal? He regained himself halfway in front of the grey woman, and simply bowed his head down.
"Would you please give me a slice as well... multiple of them?"

Much to what she expected, most of them accepted the offer of free Earth food. She supposed it could maybe be convenient not to have to dedicate work towards yummy nummies... Just getting it for free must make it feel less ouch to the moneys. She thought, her other hand rubbing her chin thoughtfully as she looked up and over the group. Her attention then shifted back towards Ty. "Fifty thousand Zeni's?" She asked, tilting her head to the side.
Her eyes started to squint, a puff of smoke came out of her ears as the gears of her head churned to spit out what that number meant. "Too many zeroes, I just dropped a pile on the counter and asked for a ton of the pizza stuff. It's super duper good and smelled even better. This place is super awesome." She said, chomping down and deleting another slice. She then reached in, and took one to hand to Ty without much of a thought.
Her attention then shifted to Cayle, her eyes narrowing slightly. Another puff of smoke poofed from her ears, and her face suddenly twisted in the shape a sneeze might take on someones expression. Suddenly she turned her head up. "AAACHOOOOO!" She shouted as red hot material melting saliva flew out and away into the sky. In a battlefield that could maybe be weaponized- scary stuff. "Shorry had a bit of a shneeze." She said, sniffling again afterwards and getting Cayles pizza next. She handed him a bit, before commenting.
"You're familiar, I don't know why. That's how I found this group, you're all a little familiar, but you are the most. I don't know, reminds me of something... What..." She shrugged. "I can tell you guys are different in general though from most people here. It's like uh..." She put a finger to her chin and thought.
"It's like you are... Are... Are... Like a... Pizza... In a pond... Yes, that makes sense." She said triumphantly, a poof of smoke firing from her nostrils as they flared. "Very weird for a pizza to be in a pond. But I guess even pizza needs to go to the pond sometimes." - Wait, what? Even she seemed confused at what she said, one eye blinking slowly before the other. "Huh."
Turning her attention to Wuubi, she didn't look at all offended. Whether the meaning of some of the words she'd used were lost on her or she just didn't care would be tough to decipher. The weirdness of the faces she made and her mannerisms made it tricky to keep a finger on her. Unless one just defaulted to considering her an airhead- not the first time it would have happened. "Mascot? Costume? I don't know those words, especially mascot. Costume sounds like Cost and ume... Perfume... Cost... Costly Perform... Convincing... Costly... Perfume... Do I smell good?" She said, sniffing her arm, the one holding pizza boxes.
"Oh that's the pizza." She said, nodding again. "If you say so though, no pizza coming your way." She said with a sigh, looking to Rihito next.
"Oh, now that's an appetite I can relate too." Tenkami said, pulling off three full boxes to actually make the stack look less absurd, attempting to push them into Rihito. She wasn't trying to be rough, she just naturally seemed pretty whimsical and a touch clumsy with her strength.
"I guess I should say hi, did I say hi? Anyways, I'm Tenkami. Uuuuh... I'm figuring out where I am, this is the... second place I've been to with people. I came from a jungle in a tropical place." She said, nodding one final time.

“Pilaf land is great! They have the best food in the whole world! You have my thanks!” Ty was feeling pumped, after she was given a slice of pizza she practically inhaled it, the whole slice was eaten in a blink of an eye, and she began to fly up to meet Tenkami at eye level. In truth she was feeling a connection to the grey, without telling what her true power level was, the saiyan blood that coursed through both of them brought the urge to fight.
“Say, Tenkami, we should spar. I have a feeling I can learn a lot from you if we do. However, today is my seventeenth birthday, so I am going to have to wait until tomorrow since Cayle is going to celebrate it with me… and that means everyone here is welcome to hang out with us too.” She spoke the last sentence loud enough for everyone standing below to hear and then proceeded to point towards the ocean’s horizon line.
“You see that island right there with the volcano billowing ash clouds? Let’s meet there tomorrow morning when the sun rises. After that, maybe you can go up against Cayle, too.” She grinned, quite eager to fight now, but she had a promise to keep by spending a day at the theme park, so she needed to control the urge to get stronger.”Okay?” Ty tilted her head hoping her challenge was accepted before she landed back on the ground.
At some point while everyone was either talking to each other or eating pizza Tiger Lily left and returned with a giant plastic souvenir cup with lemonade inside. The top of the cup had the famous Emperor Pilaf, Mai, and shu with a fluffy yellow cotton candy ball with a silly straw at the very top. The clear cup revealed cherries cut in half, slices of lemons, and ice as the beverage was mostly yellow in color apart from the red hue of the cherries at the bottom.
“Look Cayle, this was worth 95,000 zeni. A week’s worth of doing odd jobs in South City. It’s delicious!”
