General Information Name: Aisling Species: Fae (Demon) Age: -- Gender: Male Appearance: Aisling was not born in the same manner that most other beings were- rather, he was created when the Fae Queen Titania was overthrown and, due to her immortality, split into fragments. Aisling is one of those vestiges- specifically, an entity magicked into existence from Titania’s stolen dreams. It is the nature of dreams themselves that define Aisling’s curiously epicene state, something shifting and ephemeral, not quite as it first appears. He appears as the Queen might have in her youth, only, well, male. Naturally, he is not a particularly masculine individual; the fae lad is somewhat short and rather lithe in his dimensions. His hair is a vivacious shade of pink with a few odd wide streaks running throughout its length- and quite lengthy, it is. The lad’s hair reaches to his waist at its longest, with the front section being cropped comparatively short while the rest remains tightly braided behind him. His flesh is pale and his features soft, with eyes of a rich violet hue- and cheeks quick to flush when elated.
Personality: This lad’s character is one conglomerate between those facets he might have developed naturally, remnants of Titania’s true personality, and a flavorful twisting by the ethereal nature of the Queen’s dreams. Due to the contrast between those individual sections of persona, some of Aisling’s traits stand in stark contrast with one another. At his core, the lad is curious, mischievous, and altogether quite whimsical- often preferring to chase after what seems “fun” rather than what might be immediately prudent. As actions within one’s dreams are often without consequence, so too does Aisling conduct himself as though consequences were something that simply did not exist. When he is reprimanded or punished for anything, it typically comes as a great surprise to him and can be frequently regarded as unfair. In fact, if pressured into speaking about his own origins, Aisling often regards his very creation as something entirely unjust- that the person he used to be did not deserve such punishment. When the fragment of Titania within him is roused to the surface, Aisling’s personality can shift quite dramatically. Something that piques the queen’s interest demands his full attention and suffers little in the way of distractions- his distaste for consequence can become petty and spiteful, driving him to want to exact vengeance on those that he perceived to have wrong him. His penchant for pranks and mischief can instead become malign at their core, detached and cruel, as though those he is toying with exist solely for his own amusement. Despite that, the Queen does instill within Aisling a sense of loyalty and responsibility; he strives to carry out promises made and honor alliances with those who had proven beneficial.

History Before the sealing of Piccolo Daimyo, much of the Earth suffered from his evil. Fae kind was no exception- in fact, a majority of fairies were once inherently ‘good’ creatures and suffered greatly at the hands of the Demon King’s wrath. Though the species survived his agonies, they were forever changed by the experience. Many grew distrustful of other species, and some even became quite cruel themselves. Perhaps the most tragic twisting of this was the fae queen, Titania, whose sudden introduction to fear and malice left her entirely unwilling to experience anything of the sort ever again. It was to that end that she aligned her people with the very same Demon King when he arose to conquer the world once again. The good-natured courts who remained viewed this as a grand betrayal of their race, but nevertheless followed the decision of their queen in an attempt to spare themselves the wrath of Piccolo Daimyo. Rather than enlisting in the Demon King’s armies proper, they instead hid within their courts and obfuscated abodes, simply staying out of the world’s way. However, when they learned of the partial sealing that so greatly diminished Piccolo Daimyo’s power, they emerged again and pleaded with their leaders to break their alliance with the Demon King. Either through fear or loyalty, Titania refused- even going as far as threatening to banish her own husband, the fae king, for daring to suggest that they betray Piccolo Daimyo. Fearing the worst for their kind, the fae courts engaged in civil war. Eventually, the rebellious fae and their king, Oberon, succeeded in isolating Titania away from her supporters- and away from the Demon King himself. As reason had failed to deliver her to their side, they instead attacked and bested her. Oberon pleaded for her life and convinced his fellow fae to punish Titania’s crimes not with death, but with a sundering. She was split into fragments: Breath, Dreams, Vitality, Bonds, and Responsibility. Each of these vestiges was encapsulated within new bodies, ones formed of Fae magicks, and were scattered over the world so as to minimize the likelihood of them ever again becoming whole. Even, then, if they were to reunite, the resulting being would likely only be something resembling Titania and not something true enough to again command the whole of fae-kind. Aisling was created of one of these fragments- the queen’s dreams. He was sent far to the South, hidden away from the world. There, he was expected to remain asleep, where he could best manifest his nature as Titania’s Dreams. However, a stirring within the world roused Aisling from slumber and inspired him to wander forth from the forest.

It typically allows the user to fly into their opponent’s from any direction and lay a full body barrage in addition to its practical benefits- but Bukujutsu was once so common place that some martial arts enthusiasts forget to place it where it belongs, alongside the Kamehameha.
