The Who - Personality and appearance
Appearance:
As Majins are, Nal is of a somewhat literally fluid shape - gray of skin, usually in a rather wispy form, slender and somewhat short - with an antenna reaching from the back of her head, to between the shoulderblades, alongside many smaller tendrils mimicking hair around said head. Usually, they reach down to the chin, surrounding the face, however frequently, the majin uses these to mimic hairstyles of others - quite fond of twisting them around each other to mock dreadlocks, but sometimes seen doing other styles. The face itself is typical to a majin - full cheeks, typically angular eyes, with black sclera and red irises, lack of any kind of nose, as well as a pair of rectangular protrusions in place of ears.
Her body is usually deceptively lithe for how durable Nal is. Small and thin, unless she needs to impress or threaten someone - at which point her body reshapes itself to appear bulkier and stronger, with usually no effect to her actual combat abilities. Despite looking small, her abdomen usually is shapely and toned - and if asked why, the majin usually snickers in amusement, as if hearing an inside joke.
Personality:
Nal is… unusual for a majin, in that while violence and energy are aplenty in her, they are rather tame and contained by comparison. Rather than manifest in erratic motions, eagerness to pummel everything and generally cause mayhem, they take form of frantic, rapid speeches, sometimes shifting topics before the previous one is finished - only to return to make a conclusion on said topic in the middle of whatever the conversation has moved to. That is not to say that Majin Nal is in any way calm - wild gesticulation frequently accompanies these speeches, and while more calm and less devastatingly powerful than others of her kind - she still is a majin, and if patience runs short, shall result to bashing faces in, if it’s necessary - or helps prove her point.
When it comes to fighting, the majin is partially akin to her kind - preferring physical approach to it, using the gelatinous quality of her body to absorb hits and then punch back with fervor. However, when it comes to ki techniques, Nal’s offensive capabilities are dreadfully weak. Instead, she had learned to use the power of ki to manipulate the forms, both her own and the others - focusing on undoing wounds and preventing others from dealing more of them. However, being what she is, the majin quickly realised that both can eventually be combined together - for some unique (and sometimes hilarious) way of supporting people - by punching them in the gut and making them feel better in the process. The look of confusion on people’s faces is one of the reasons she strives to master that style of support.
While not threatened or in a heated debate, Nal tends to be rather cheerful and calm (again, compared to others of her kind), rather friendly and enjoying a good jest. Naturally, she has an affinity for all things sweet and is usually carrying snacks - and if someone is offered one, they are definitely considered a good friend at least. Random people get nothing. However, while outgoing and easy to strike a conversation with someone she knows - actually getting to know people is difficult for her. In small part, it is because the mystic studies she focused on make the majin stand out like a sore thumb, making it - she feels - disappointing to those seeking a “true” majin, but in large part because something’s always roiling in that gray head - constant thinking and daydreaming, leaving little attention for approaching somebody.
