Upon releasing his fist she pushed his kick back using the force of it as leverage to leap into the air with another cut across the air, this time aiming for his shoulder as payback for the bruise he inflicted on her earlier. Melody was starting to feel sore all over as the fight carried on longer than expected, she glared at him when he said her name during the long list of music related names, but she refused to give him that satisfaction. During her blind fury she took another beating on her shoulder that was now a bigger bruise, the seams on her vest were spreading apart revealing her black T-shirt through it. Wincing from the pain the next attack was quite unexpected as she began to focus her ki in her free hand. The concentration alone distracted her from the beating while remaining grounded on her feet, there were more bruises in both shoulders, her cheek opened opened up again, and she was hit in the stomach hard enough to spit out blood along with a tooth. It was a gruesome sight which Koma did not get to see as her palm was raised up with a burst of almost blinding light. Koma’s slate grey eyes did catch the sight, but not quick enough to allow him to dodge the first blast of energy, though the second one was sidestepped. Even as he himself spit up blood from the force of the blast hitting him as he stumbled and almost fell, he pushed himself back up to his feet. Once again, he pushed spiritual energy through his body and especially his legs and lower torso, and rushed at her, his aura sparking around him and creating friction in the air as he did. Once again, he aimed to hit her in the shoulder with a leaping drop kick, aiming to make her drop the sword and thus neutralize the threat. Once again he hoped this would be enough to bring her to the ground when it came to this fight, as he knew that a few more hits like the one he had just taken would knock him out, as well. It was down to the last wire, from the impact of blows Melody parried the onslaught, and her bruised shoulder kept getting targeted; feeling that her sword strikes were less powerful than before from the constant pain as Koma managed to push her back while her grounded feet kept her standing upright. The skin on her right shoulder and neck was various hideous colors of bruising from greenish yellow to deep reddish purple.
“Getting tired yet?” Melody sneered with the small gap in her teeth between the upper cuspids was visibly still bleeding. Closing her mouth a small trail of blood escaped from the corner of her lips, she had to spit out the pooling blood from under her tongue while turning her head away, and kept her violet eyes locked on him while staggering.
Being versatile with both hands in the art of swordsmanship, the duchess switched hands and was now using her left hand to swipe the blade at Koma while keeping her right hand in a fist.

Skilled with both hands or not, there was not much of anything to even attempt to dodge for Koma when the strikes came at him. The dark haired, slate grey eyed former samurai warlord did not even have to try to dodge the strike when she switched hands, as it missed him without much of an issue. The movement brought a chuckle to his lips, when combined with her question. He had not even begun to become tired, not really- he was just sore from the strikes and cut, bruised, and bleeding in spots. "I don't know, are you? I mean, someone who has trained under a master swordsman like Glacier should be able to use either hand when it comes to striking with a sword, no?" he questioned, before pushing spiritual energy through his body as he rushed forward for another series of punches and kicks, aiming for her sore arm in hopes that it would be a source of pain powerful enough that she had to shift her posture and deal with the pain. “I am still warming up with that hand with your stupid face.”
Melody felt the breeze of Koma’s fists and kicks aimed at her right hand, which was severely injured, and she focused her ki to sense each strike in order to dodge them all. The entire time she had been trying to end the fight early by putting all of her might into every strike and her opponent had been perfect in his defensive techniques. In the past, a fight never carried on for so long, and the reason being was that there was a breaking point where her emotions got the best of her. With every insult to her bodily injury she hated Koma more and despite knowing he was from the Western Lands she was never going to forgive him.
Just as promised, she warmed up her left hand by firmly gripping the sword and aimed to pierce at his visage with two attempts.

"Ha, yeah, you are really doing that by using a sword in a fist fight, aren't you?" the vagabond former warlord said as he shifted his movement, pushing spiritual energy through his body to make him move faster than he had and to dodge the strike which had come. It was not enough to dodge both, and he took another sizable gash from it but he was still standing, maniacally grinning and shaking his head. Even with her trying to take him down more rapidly by taking swipes at him with her sword, he was not going to go down easily. Koma was beginning to get sloppy with his strikes as they went on, swinging his fists but hitting less rapidly. It could be mental exhaustion, being low on energy, or the fact he was bleeding out several wounds, but whatever the case he was finding it harder to hit. He kept throwing punches and kicks at her in an attempt to strike.
