Baccer could not help but take a step back as he witnessed his opponent begin her rapid shift "huh. So you weren't kidding about the whole demon stuff" he said, feeling rather intimidated. However this wasn't the moment to cower. it seemed this transformation took some time to perform, which left only her companion's weak supressive fire. this meant that he could for once stop defending himself and focus solely on attacking. As she transformed into Hachiko, he took a deep breath as his fingers turned into sharp claws, taking a martial stance as he grinned "these claws are something neat the red ribbon scientists outfitted me with in case i ever got in a pinch. You said you're a healer right, so it is ok for me to go all out, you can probably treat both of our injuries" Baccer understood that the situation he was in right now was quite the distadvantageous one. While she was quite tricky to deal with before, her demeanour and damage output kept her from being too large of a threat despite their power difference. However, if she was as monstrous as she looked in this form, he would have to really lean on the offense, hoping he could force her to remain defensive for long enough as to exhaust any possible advantage this form may grant her. Juniper understood that she would be vulnerable to Baccer’s attacks in a larger form, she would not be able to learn anything unless she kept her defenses up, and she wanted to witness the rate of his healing after taking a heavy blow. The bio android detected her power before and it matched his for the beginning of their spar; she was also holding back additional ki when she used telekinesis, to avoid harming him at first, but now that she was aware of his natural healing abilities she increased her power level to its natural state. An invisible aura surrounded her, the first strike from the teen clashed against a transparent barrier which shattered on impact, and followed through to hit her forearm which was an inch shy of doing damage on her ash grey skin. The second strike was caught barehanded, releasing one hand from her giant paint brush that had increased in size along with her, and countered it feeling the vibrations of his wings. With a smile she took a step back, using the the wooden handle of the brush as a weapon, infusing it with Ki energy to strike back twice, cutting through the air with an echo carried off by the ocean waves. This was his true test, as there are dangers in the world that he may struggle with, and Hachiko was willing to show him a glance of what it might be like. [241] [2,049]

Baccer was stunned at the demon's ability to dish out so much damage while blocking all of his strikes at the same time. The battle was unbalanced before, but now it seemed downright unbeatable. He began to hesitate, thinking about using the last of his energy to dodge... but then he steeled his resolve. He didn't pick a fight with an opponent three times his power level because it would be easy to win. Hell, it might actually be impossible. But if he was about to go down, he would make his final stand something to remember. If he could make her revere the powers of someone so much weaker than her, that was still a win in his book. So instead of using his sluggish body to block, he decided to throw caution to the wind and lean everything into offense. She might have blocked his strikes, but his sonic technique should be able to move past her defences if activated. This fight was like this from the beginning after all. Him using his techniques and abilities, trying to scratch the face of god. While his body suffered tremendous injuries, ones his regeneration just couldn't keep up with, he still grinned and took a step forward. Hachiko witnessed the damage on Baccer, by this point she smiled as she notated the limitations of his healing abilities, he relied heavily on his ki pool for his abilities, and perhaps with more training he could learn to maneuver around his opponents to reduce some of the damage he was forced to take to preserve his ki. The injuries he sustained was enough for her to end the spar but the hope in red eyes revealed he wanted to keep trying by delivering precise focused strikes despite the obvious bruising he suffered from his ribs. The first strike from the bio-android hit her forearm and the second hit another barrier which shattered into glowing white shards of ki. The handle of the paint brush was used again like a weapon, targeting pressure points like pool cue pole, healing Baccer of his injuries, and removing the blocked chakra channel that had been suppressing his ki; which had been forcing himself to expend more of it whenever he attempted to utilize it defensively. “I am a healer not a fighter.” Hachiko smiled, “I believe we both learned a thing or two from this fight. Shall we end this lesson here and save the rest for another time?”Hachi retreated towards the ocean to continue swimming after detecting that his companion had become rather lax of the situation. Baccer panted after that barrage of swings. It seemed to do minor damage, but damage nonetheless. Going through the barrier that had completely stopped him before, that was progress. However, after that she proclaimed that she'd prefer to call it for now. While his saiyan side was rather dissapointed, he couldn't force her to fight more than she wanted to, especially after healing his injuries and putting herself in a clear disadvantage. He let out a sigh and relaxed his stance. It felt... weirdly nice. Her healing had mended his woulds almost entirely, and the rest was taken care of by his own regeneration "man. If this is what you can do as a healer, i shudder to think what you'd be capable of as a warrior" he chuckled. It was nice, finally having a battle that wasn't simulated, he really needed that "so, were you able to read my power level?. Can you make me stronger now?" he asked, remembering what she had said about "chakra" before their little bout began Seeing no further reason to continue fighting, he dropped his combat stance and stretched a bit. It seemed that given enough time, he could heal any injury, even those that left him nearly dead. He even seemed relatively stronger now, saiyan cells were truly handy in situations like these "well. Hachiko released her giant form and reverted back to who the people knew as Juniper. Her hair changed from platinum white to dark brown, her red eyes changed blue, and her ash grey skin turned back into a light peach flesh tone. The paint brush in her hand materialized into a pocket dimension using her mystic powers and she took a minute to adjust her clothes back on her shoulders by tightening her obi.
“I trained my whole life to harness my mystic powers since I was gifted with the ability to heal. Martial arts requires that you understand the way a body moves and I focused on how the body utilizes ki energy. In order to improve your full potential, after witnessing how you utilize ki, my advice is to be prepared for people who cause more than physical damage. There are conditions that can be applied to slow you down. While it is great that you can heal naturally you can also be wounded so badly that it may not give you the advantage you need to win the fight.” Juniper recalled his chakras after he powered up, “Overall your chakras are balanced. I improved the remaining six for now after hitting all the right pressure points earlier. The only one that needs conditioning now is your Third Eye Chakra, that one requires you expand your knowledge, by simply learning it. Until then, the next time we meet, we can go over further treatments.”
Juniper dug inside her pocket and pulled out a small coin with a plain smooth face on it and extended it out to Baccer to take. “If you ever need to find me, use this, it has been in my possession long enough to absorb my ki signature. It is made from a rare ‘spirit’ ore that absorbs ki energy and as long as you keep yours suppressed it will retain its potency. Otherwise, if you ever find yourself in the western lands and cannot find me, simply channel some ki into the coin, and it will reveal the Tea Clan mon engraved on it which the locals will recognize.”
Hachi returned from the sea with various fish on each tentacle, all of them were so fresh they were still alive and flopped about, as the octopus hovered in the air to reunite with his companion. “That is a good catch, Hachi.”
“Say, do you eat sushi?” She asked Baccer, “I originally journeyed over here to get fresh fish. Hachi is a master sushi chef. Would you be interested in joining us?”

Baccer listened to what Juniper had to say attentively. A healer with power like hers was definitely new to him, and the way she explained how his chakras worked was quite captivating. Maybe by training and participating in more fights like this he could attain his semi-perfect, or even his perfect form. as she gave him the coin, he examined and raised a brow "so i can use this to find you?. Sounds good. Once i reach your level of power i'll seek you out, and then we can have a rematch in which you actually get serious" he chuckled. he wasn't saiyan enough to feel insulted that she showed him her true power for only a little, but he was Saiyan enough to want to see it again. As they were talking, her flying octopus companion seemed to return with a number of fish in his multiple appendages "su...shi?" he asked, seemingly unfamiliar with the concept. However as always, the android remained exciteable about the world around him "sure thing. I've never eaten Sushi before, but it sounds tasty"And with that declaration, the android walked closer, interested to see how this 'sushi' was prepared. After all, learning to make it himself might provide him with a nice snack for long travels... not that he really needed to eat, but he could still taste. Juniper reached in her pocket and opened her DynoCapsule case browsing through it before choosing one, pressed on the cap, then threw it on the ground. A metal picnic table emerged from it with a sunbrella in the center, the seating was attached to the frame, and she immediately sat down as Hachi began to slice up the fish with a knife on its free tentacle. A wireless solar powered rice cooker, plates, and chopsticks emerged with the set up. An entire tea pot was placed inside the rice cooker, after filling the pot with a water bottle, using the internal heat source to boil the water. After it boiled she took it out barehanded, resisting the heat naturally with her demonic blood, then the tea princess poured a second water bottle into the rice cooker, poured in rice inside and turned it on. The sushi was prepared, there was enough for an entire banquet, and no ingredient was spared in the preparation.
“Fish is a good source of nutrients, it ails joints, and improves memory. It is one of my favorite foods apart from tea which I enjoy ceremoniously as it is my clan’s name.” Juniper pulled out two small cups of tea, “This is Oolong tea. Famously known in the western lands because it is the Grand Duke’s name, who is my grandfather, he is a mysterious pig beastman that I have only had the pleasure of seeing once when I was elected as the clan’s heiress. I suppose it is because it’s difficult to trust people even if it’s your family when ruling an entire country known as the Pig Demon Duchies. Despite its name, my grandfather is not a demon, he earned the name along with Yajirobe of the White Cat Clan, guardians of Korin’s tower, for having a ravenous appetite comparable to demons. There is a lot of history in my homeland, I feel that with time, most of it has been lost. My sister, Clove, often finds that some of the stories are untrue, so history is what you make it out to be and what you believe in.”
After finishing her tea cup, she poured more of its golden liquid into it, and smiled. “I have heard stories that the Red Ribbon army liked to collect relics, including that of the legendary dragon balls when my grandfather and his friends looked for them, always being in competition with one another. It is a good thing Dr. Gero reformed the army in time to aid the world in the war against the namekians and Piccolo daimao. I hope that they are treating you well.” She paused, “Do you think the stories are true? It’s hard to believe in anything from the past without having witnessed it.”
After finishing her second cup of tea, she picked up chopsticks, and began to eat the sushi. While Hachi prepared all the sushi perfectly anything that remained he ended up eating down to its bones.

Baccer looked in awe at the speed at which everything was prepared. Of course he was familiar with capsule technology, but he's never had sushi or tea before. He opted to sit next to her, to take a closer look at how she prepared the various ingredients and the meal as a whole "whoa. So this is what sushi looks like" he said, seeming amazed by all the new info. The bugan attentivaly listened to her description of the grand duke Oolong, before she turned the conversation towards the red ribon army, at which point he rubbed the back of his neck, feeling rather guilty "well... at this point i don't really affiliate with the army anymore. I left because they were using me as a mascot rather than a warrior. I wanted to see the world ya know. But i am feeling rather bad about all the chaos i mus have caused back then. If they ever need me again, i will surely come to help, way stronger than i left" he said, showing his resolution about becoming a great warrior worthy of his classification. And as the sun began to set and they both had their fill, he got up and stretched "well. I guess i should be going now. I suspect you also have places to be. It's been a pleasure meeting you Juniper-san" he said, tryiing to use the honourifics she taught him, along with a small bow "i'm sure we'll meet again some day" the android said, seeming in high spirits as he waved while walking away, on towards another adventure WC: 266 Total WC: 3106 Juni
