Tiger Lily was reading her text messages from Achido which included several photos of a black stone, sea moss, kelp, and barnacle covered temple, and from the details she read it was once underwater. A Tiger beastman by name of Daiko had been guarding it, he followed the trail of his missing students to this tiny island, and was not allowing anyone to enter since no one has returned since it appeared. There was a dark ominous aura in the direction of the temple that anyone with the ability to detect ki could sense. It had only been a few days since she last received these messages and he had not responded ever since. It was her gut wrenching instinct that something was wrong since her best friend always kept in touch. The teenage girl’s first thought was to reach out to everyone she could think of quickly before she took off from the magical land of pilaf leaving patrons in awe at her ability to take flight. In no time she reached the coast of Pilaf land and found the island in question, the temple was smaller than she thought, it was only a ten by ten foot structure with a pitch black hallowed entrance, and Daiko was standing guard in a meditation pose. “ Excuse me, are you Master Daiko? Do you know what happened to my friend Achido? He texted information about this place a couple of days ago and I haven’t heard from him since. Sorry, my name is Tiger Lily.”Daiko sighed as he was taking deep breath exercises while meditating and he was filled with regret as he stood up towering the teenage girl with a simple nod of disapproval. “ Greetings Tiger Lily. I am afraid he went inside to aid me in retrieving my students who I believe are also trapped. There is dark ki energy from this structure, I have been training near this coast for decades, and this island suddenly appeared one day. I tried to stop your friend but he insisted that he was confident in his abilities but it’s been four days since he went in. No one should enter, there is something amiss, and you should leave until I can figure something out.”“No!” Tiger Lily shouted, “If Achido is inside then he needs my help. I will wait here until more help arrives so we plan a rescue together.”Daiko nodded as he crossed his arms, still standing guard to stop her if she tried anything, and remained alert. In a panic she took off her glasses and slipped out of her black sweater to limber up with a few pushups. Underneath her billowing large sweater she wore a white tank top, a black swim top, and black shorts. Exercise was all she could do to keep her mind off from doing anything reckless; like pushing past Daiko to go inside. After breaking a sweat she sat on a sea grass covered rock, still feeling panicked, concerned, and close to losing her lunch at the thought that Achido was in deep trouble. To ease her fears she pulled out her capsule Corp c-phone to look through her pictures of all the memories she shared with everyone she cared about. While she felt a bit of relief at reminiscing past experiences her determination to do something to save her best friend increased. Ocean teal eyes stared at the grand entrance of the temple, the sea air echoed inside as if it were deep, the outside was small which made her wonder how anyone was trapped in such a small space, and it was so dark that the sun light was unable to reveal the inside despite its rays touching the dark stone directly. 'Come and see.' He walked through the darkness of the cavern, golden spear gripped in his hand, fear in his heart. He knew that the absence of fear was not the mark of the brave, it was the mark of the foolish. Fear was a part of him. It gave him an edge, and his ability to overcome it was what marked to courage.
The steady drip of water from deeper within beckoned him onwards. Two ravens sat upon his shoulder, and two wolves trod beside him, and for once all were silent. He touched the golden band that adorned his mighty arm... a nervous habit. Even he, gifted with the wisdom of ages and the foreknowledge born by sacrifice, could not see the end of this path, and that, above all things, did he fear.
As his boots echoed through the cave, he remembered the serpent and the venom. He remembered the wolf and the ribbon. He remembered his trials and tribulations and all other times where he had been summoned. When fate and legend and destiny had called him hither, when the tangled skein had made one demand above all others;
'Come and see.'
And when those words shuddered through his mind once more, as whispers of thunder, he stepped into the chamber.
And he saw.
The roots of the great tree. The well. The rope and the branches and the dagger.
The sacrifice.
Blood. Blood and pain and sacrifice were his, now.
But he had came. And he would see and seal with world against-It had begun longer ago than he could remember. Farther away than he could fathom. Kiryu realized now, he had felt a presence, a shadow in his mind, a threat and a whisper that promised nothing more than destruction. It began with this vision, this interpretation of he who not who. Of the feeling that there was something other, something imminent, something inevitable and ruinous. And his mind had scabbed over, forcing himself to forget the alien images and impressions that he keep his sanity. Kiryu had felt similar things over the last few months, ever since connecting with the arcane source of his powers. This, however... this was different. He felt some sort of pulling, a tugging at his very essence. There was something wrong, something with reality itself. And he knew that, at long last, it was time for him to come and see.
Kiryu steeled himself, making for the location of the disturbance that he felt in the core of his being. It wasn't difficult to find; even if he had not felt it on so intimate a level, Kiryu would have seen news reports of a mysterious temple, rising from the depths of the ocean, sending out a tsunami that had caused a bit of damage and destruction to the surrounding area. As Kiryu arrived, silver aura flaring around him, he could see that the exterior of the temple was constructed of some sort of dark material. Kiryu's first guess would have been obsidian. He did not know nearly enough about construction or geology to know how difficult it would have been to construct a temple out of obsidian, but it seemed like a sub optimal choice... though perhaps there were reasons beyond the physical structure of the material. Kiryu slowed as he approached, sensing several power levels... one of them quite familiar. Kiryu set his course for his friend, Tiger Lily. Upon finding her, Kiryu saw that she was a bit sweat and apparently looking through her phone. Kiryu gently landed next to her, having already dispersed the violent aspects of his aura so as to not disturb the surrounding environment. "Fancy meeting you here," Kiryu said conversationally. "I hope you might now a little more than I do right now, Ty, because if I'm being honest, this place is giving me the heebie jeebies. I can feel all sorts of weird energy from the structure. What the hell is this place?"Without waiting for a response, Kiryu waved over to the guard he saw at the temple entrance. "Ho, there! I'm Kiryu! I've come to offer whatever assistance I can. Do you have any information about this place?"

Post by Kite on Jan 30, 2020 13:26:42 GMT -8
This was probably one of the worst weeks for Kite. He came to the Pilaf Lands a few weeks ago, specifically two, and a few days ago, he got his ass handed to him in his encounter with Cayle. He was extremely strong. So now, Kite had two he needed to get string enough to beat.. Luther and Cayle. His Saiyan father, Nero, hasn't even showed up as yet, and has really gotten to Kite. To be honest, he did call once, saying that he would be a few weeks late. He walked down the shores of this beach he found, while he was just roaming around the area. It was quiet. There wasn't a single person in the beach by the looks of it, and it was pretty weird.
Why is this beach so empty? It doesn't seem to have an owner either. I guess his could be the place in which I hang out. Peaceful.. quiet.. calm.
The cool air brushed against his exposed chest and abs. He was trying to get his mind off some stuff really, and just found this cool beach. He hadn't exactly gotten where he could find a park, but here was better.. already. He laid his back on the sandy floor, observing the birds that flew over him in the light blue sky. This was the first time in a long time, in which he felt relieved, and calm. He laid there for about ten minutes, with the water rushing itself on the shores, brushing against his feet. He got up from the floor, and sand was all over his back at this point.
"Eh, whatever."
He was just pretty much strolling down the beach shores for a little longer, with the salted air brushing against his face, and for some reason, he thought that he was tasting it. Suddenly, his jade green eyes was darted not too far off into the beach's waters. There was this random island the middle of nowhere which wasn't too far off where he was standing.
"Huh? Why is there a random island in the middle of this beach's waters, and the weird looking temple? Something's.. not right."
And there was something else that was extremely weird.. he felt a extremely familiar ki signature near by, and he couldn't tell exactly who it was. There was another lingering around the place, but one of them stood out.
"Wait.. is it?.. Ty?.. out here?.. why?"
He tried to sense to sense where exactly it was coming from and to his surprise, she was on that weird island.
"Huh? Why?"
Sure, it's been a long time since he has talked to her, and would love to see her again, but he just didn't get why exactly was she over there. He wasn't going to just swim over there, no. He just didn't feel to good about doing that, so he thought of another way to get her attention. Not even a minute after, he started to power up, spiking up his ki for a little, so that she might sense his ki, and even if she wasn't paying attention, he throw about five ki blasts in the direction of the island.
"That should get her attention."
He said, with the holy white energy lingering around the shirtless teenager.

As Will flew closer on his nimbus cloud he could feel an ominous and strange source of dark energy within the temple. Someone or something is inside and they're anything but friendly. Was this temple used to revere some demon or another powerful mystical being that got free from its seal and rose its temple from the abyss beneath the waves? A first time for everything it seems, this is new territory compared to his vast experience of many dangerous encounters and adventures in the past, not just recently but in the past as well, but this isn't some happy go lucky adventure no Will can tell from this dark aura that this is going to be a horrific experience. He jumps from his cloud and lands gracefully onto the ground below in front of Tiger Lily, Daiko, and Kiryu. Will is happy to meet Kiryu, who was a mighty asset against the kaiju that almost attacked South Island, but this girl, however, seems to have answered the call as well. He then turns to see a tiger Beastman, dressed in Martial arts uniform, this must be the master Daiko who is looking for his students. It is then Kiryu inquired about what is happening. "From what I heard from the rumor mill this temple is cursed, it rose up from the water some time ago and people have been disappearing since. This tiger must be Daiko, he's a master around these parts who unfortunately lost his students. Nice to meet a fellow master, by the way, my name is Will O. Wisp. I understand what you're going through but I will do all that I can to go save them. And if you doubt me because of my appearance well," Will said. He then clenched his fists as he begins to shout as his aura flared up in a massive burst of power and like a flame being snuffed it was gone and his power went back to a smaller calmer state.
"I am plenty capable, this man in green, by the way, is someone I have fought alongside with long ago and they are no slouch either. It would be wise to have him accompany me so that we can better find the missing people inside. Though can't say I know this young lass though, who are you, what brought you to this temple?" Will asks Tiger Lily.
He was then interrupted as he sensed a power flaring up as multiple ki blasts headed towards the island. As they came forth Will whistled for his Flying Nimbus. As it comes to him and he rides he manages to deflect all of the Ki Blasts towards the water. He then sees the young man who fired the Ki Blasts at them. His eyebrow twitches at anger at this boy's brashness.
"Hey be careful next time we don't know what could happen if this temple is attacked, and there are probably still people in it. Do you ever think with that head of yours before doing something boy. Just be glad I was able to notice and deflect those blasts otherwise you could've gotten someone hurt." Will said.

Post by Cayle Pota on Jan 30, 2020 22:39:51 GMT -8
Four Days Ago Cayle Pota, son of Pota Potaset, who was himself son of Potaset Potaset, who was himself Son of Potaset Onio, who was himself son of Onio Pota, who was himself son of Pota the Proud – he was a man who by all rights should have been busy with some scientific endeavor, or logical push to build the monetary power of his fledgling Clan of Saiyans, and thus their agency over the Future. He was a man who should have been, yet he had not been. Civilization was miles away from his physicality and light years away from his mentality. Four days ago, Cayle and Achido had come to this area and eventually this island, looking for a suitable place to train. Four days ago, Achido had volunteered to go into this Temple, despite the miasma of dark spiritual energy which hung about it. Four days ago, Cayle had allowed his friend to go into the Temple by himself out of respect for Achido's power and belief that it would do well for Achido's pride and his willingness to train more heavily in the martial arts. While Tiger Lily had been progressing at a prodigious rate, Cayle continually worried about Achido's progress, Jack's progess, Konja's progress. Any of those who he considered his inner circle of friends could be captured, kidnapped, harmed, otherwise targeted by enemy forces or the type of idiotic braggarts in the world like Luther, Kite, and the nefarious witch known as Lilith. So he had to do whatever he could to get them stronger, to strengthen their fighting spirit so he could help them strengthen their spiritual power and fighting potential. Four days ago, Cayle failed Achido in his duty as a friend and would-be teacher. Four days ago, Cayle was there at the exact moment that Achido's spiritual energy signature disappeared from the face of the Planet and the subtle feeling of the Temple's spiritual energy growing came to be. Four days ago, Cayle had almost stormed into the Temple. Four days ago he had almost went to his full maximum power, and charged in, firing blasts of energy and using spiritual energy to increase his strength even more than it already was at; intending to rend the Temple apart, stone by stone. Four days ago, the wizened master of the Sphinx School of Martial Arts stopped him from entering the Temple – pleading that they needed more skilled martial artists and more mystical knowledge to deal with this Temple, which obviously had some sort of mystical connection. Four days ago, he debated between trying to send off a text message to Kiryu, a phone message with Atalan's butler or secretary, and a tape recorder message with that Wizard-Private Investigator who he had the advertisement of seen in the Commercial Phone Book and Newspapers in West City, before flying off from the Island and Pilaf Land to conscript Lilith Nevermore to help him with it from where ever random cave, swamp, or gingerbread house she was currently holed up in. Four days ago, an eerie feeling stopped him from doing so. Could he really trust any of those Wizards or Witches, any of those Magicians to act as Magi and use White Magic instead of using Black Magic and making the issue worse. He could not trust others to help him with this, he would not. If this was a physical fight, if this was a war, if someone had kidnapped a member of his friends and family, would he sit there while someone else did all the work of saving them? He wouldn't. It was not the way of a Saiyan. It was not the way of a Warrior. It was not the way of a leader. It was not the way of a survivor. It was not the way of a hero. It was not the way of a would-be King of Saiyankind. Four days ago, he sought to find another way. He racked his brain for some answer. Four days ago, he remembered the sight of several adult Saiyans being starved by their Tuffle captors over an attempted revolt. Four days ago, he remembered their words. “You think starvation hurts us? You think that it hurts our minds? That it breaks our bodies and spirits? You think starvation can be another electric prod stick for you to jab us with? You think starvation can be another leash? Starvation is a gift. It brings us closer to who we are. To what we are. Starvation brings us closer to our gods.” Four days ago, he remembered long repressed memories of being taught the old ways before his capture and being re-taught them after by a wizened old grandmother of a Saiyan, a woman who should have been all rights long dead at the age of 85, at least with the brutal life of the Saiyans. Yet Colla had survived even through the Tuffle persecution, and had become the proverbial high priestess to a cult of Saiyan children starved for knowledge of their ways in a setting which tried its hardest to force Saiyanhood off of them if it could. Four days ago, Cayle striped down to the buff, and four days ago he used his bare hands and his natural spiritual energy to create a dug out on the Island big enough for himself to go inside and be able to maintain a fire without suffocating himself with carbon dioxide. Four days ago, he built a fire, he got a bucket of sea water, and he began the ritual. Four days ago, he began his quests for answers. His quest for guidance. His quest for an answer. Four days ago, he began a fast. He began a chant. Four days ago, he refused to sleep. Three days ago, he began to chant one day ago these events began. Two days ago, he began to feel hunger pains and he beat those pains out of his psyche with the rage, shame, and guilt of losing his friend and potential student to whatever nefarious trap this was. One Day Ago One day ago, on the verge of exhaustion, well past the verge of starvation, of dehydration, on falling in the steamy lodge of his own construction, Cayle's mind eye opened for a moment. He saw the Saiyan conception of the gods looking over him. One day ago, Cayle felt a surge of energy. Be it imagined energy fueled by adrenaline and psychosis be it a legitimate blessing from one of his people's gods, Cayle felt a renewed sense of purpose. “Be brave. Be strong. Be what you wish to be by taking steps towards being what you wish. Do not falter by doubting yourself. You are the same man who survived a decade or more of torture and experimentation by the Tuffles. You are the same man who survived it without forgetting who and what you were. You are the same man who has crawled his way into something on this planet despite starting with no knowledge of the planet and the clothes on your back when you climbed out of the facility at Mount Allion. You are the descendant of Pota the Proud. Make him have reason to smile down on you from the afterlife, proud of his descendant and the works which he makes. Go eat, go drink, go sleep. Prepare yourself for the battle which is coming and fight to free and protect what is yours. Sometimes the best medicine against magic is simple bravery and stubbornness.” those were the words which he felt guide him, push him as he stumbled out of the dugout sweat lodge which he had constructed on this island and resided in for the past three days. One day ago, he hunted down a fish larger than he had ever seen. One day ago, he feasted and insisted that Master Daiko eat as well. One day ago, he finally allowed himself to sleep beneath the stars, to drink the water rations which he had brought with him. He checked his phone to find no text messages or alerts, its battery full thanks to the solar power charger he had connected it to before entering the dugout. One day ago, he redressed into his training outfit, with its black track suit with yellow stripes, its white t-shirt as an undershirt, its white socks and its stark black combat boots. One day ago, he put the Cape of Vegeta back upon his person in it's scarf form. One day ago, he allowed himself to sleep some more as he waited for reinforcements to come, sleeping in his dugout. Tiger Lily had been given Achido's text messages and the image messages of the island along with Cayle right after Cayle and Achido had found the island. Being in his best health was paramount if he was to save his friend. Four Minutes Ago On the far side of the island as he slept in his dugout, his power level relaxed as he slept, the Saiyan former farm boy turned would be warlord and vice-president of a restaurant empire lay on the island, facing away from the cliffs of the continental coast and hidden by trees. Four minutes ago, Cayle Pota, son of Pota Potaset, woke from his slumber and ate the last of the dried and smoked giant salmon which he had caught. Three minutes ago, he stumbled to his feet in the dugout, feeling the spiritual energy of Tiger Lily finally arrive, and feeling the vaguely familiar spiritual energy and pressure of what he believed to be Kiryu Miyazawa. Two minutes ago, he felt the arrival of another vaguely familiar spiritual energy- the kid which five days ago he had taught a lesson. He felt the familiar spiritual pressure build up of an energy blast coming so; one minutes ago he charged forward from his dugout, bursting through the earth itself and suddenly appearing topside before slapping the energy blasts out of the air before they could connect with anything. The energy blasts were sent flying into the ocean off the island. For the seconds after, he seethed at this child trying to attack his girlfriend and his potential ally. Did Kite really want to die? Was that really the only way to handle the likes of someone so arrogant as he or Luther? He said nothing to the boy, did not even bother a murderous glare. He simply let his power level be unrestrained, no longer suppressed. The boy should have noticed the familiar energy and known that it meant that Cayle Pota, son of Pota Potaset, was in attendance of the matter and was not happy with his oafish choice of action. Now Cayle turned to his friends, and to the Kakarot cosplaying cat who he had beaten to a pulp on an sand bar off of Papaya Island which only had two palm trees. He took a few steps to them, listening to everything said, before finally speaking up. “Kiryu-san, it is nice to see you here to help. I debated sending you a text four days ago when it occurred, to see if you could find or provide any information about it given your apparent skill with magic. I considered leaving a message with Atalan, or that Wizard-Private Investigator over in West City. I even considered conscripting Lilith to help with this, but I was not sure about it, and had no idea how this spiritual miasma this place is giving off would effect your abilities or their abilities – or if it would bring out worse sides of their personalities.” “I performed a ritual, praying to the gods, and this place definitely has something twisted and dark about it. But I feel like they said the only way to deal with it would be to force our way through and fight it anyways.” He then turned to the Cat, and shook his head. “If you're really here to help and not do some shell game, then you don't have to laud us with your past experience. This isn't a lucrative job, it's us asking for volunteers. So why don't you wise up, Katarot? Lecturing an actual kid about the danger of energy blasts he used when you yourself are acting like a used capsule salesman? If you wanna help us...? Help us, please. But don't try to tell us how many moon pies you've ate or something. That's obnoxious.” Then he walked to Tiger Lily and hugged her. “Are you okay?” (1074) (2086) (2,000 Effective Word Count.)

Master Daiko of the Sphinx School For five days, Daiko had stood watch over the island. For five days, Daiko had only allowed himself short meditative naps as the Saiyan who he had encountered in the group of two young men seeking to find a place to train did his own form of meditation. For five days, Daiko waited for the messages he had sent out to his connections in the Turtle School, the Crane School, the Wolf School, the Jaguar School, the Cobra School, the Capsule Corp private martial arts academy, the Pig Demon Duchies, even people who owed him favors in the media for his help in the last Karate Tanuki movie. Now help had arrived, and now there stood a chance of saving his beloved students. Some hope returned to his eyes, some energy returned to his being. Even as the braggart cat who was supposedly from the Turtle School and thought himself a master prattled on, even as the Saiyan berated him for treating this like a job interview, Daiko felt some relief from the weight of the world and guilt upon him. “It is a temple that was long sunken beneath the sea from what I can tell. From the energy signatures that are around it, and from the energy signatures which I felt near it when it was activated, I believe that two of Piccolo Daimao's elite henchmen, a sorcerer known as Timpani and her bodyguard, Zipher, were involved. I am not sure how or where, but I have fought the two of them several times in earlier days, and their spiritual energy was all over this place. That was part of why my students and I came here, though they went into the Temple ahead of me, claiming they did not want to see their master hurt at the hands of Timpani and Zipher once again. Cayle Pota,” he pointed to the Saiyan former farm boy, “And his friend Achido Nakamura came to the Temple seeking out a place for the two of them to train without restrictions near Pilaf Land. After I said my students had went into the temple and had not returned, but before I told of the source, Achido volunteered to go in to find them. I thought he might be able to sneak in and sneak out, especially with a huge power level like that of Cayle's out here to distract the Sorcerer and her body guard, potentially drawing them away, but I was wrong. Now the boy Achido is also lost in the Temple and I fear it may be a cursed place being used as a weapon by Timpani and Zither.”The huge tiger beastman let out a sigh, before steeling himself, fighting back the despair and trying to hope. Between the power levels of those here, he could see five people already who were within the top fifty power levels in the world, by his estimation. Surely they would be enough? DBBD- Shadow Anomaly Event
Even though the waters of the sea were calm and the wind blew gently russling the loose hair of passengers onboard the ferry from the Southern Islands. The sun's shining light however did not bring enough warmth down upon Kinryu Kyto to counter the eerie chill his inner spiritual senses were experiencing as the ferry was slowly approaching the harbor. "Mai-Mai, tell me can you sense this?"
"Yes I do Shinryu." The silver haired maiden's jade eyes looked past the young Saiyan warrior towards the shoreline. She took a stark deep breath because of shock upon seeing the little island with the mysterious temple sitting on it. "Something here is not right?"
Kinryu Kyto sensed the energy of several powerful individuals gathering near the anomalous temple. Along with the Ki signature of one individual whom Kinryu has come to respect approaching. Kinryu than turned to scoop Mai-Mai up off the deck of the ferry with her legs resting over his left arm triggering many looks of awe and cell phones streams from the other passengers as they began ascending up into the air. "Then Sweetie let's go clean up this mess."
A moment later the couple came flying swiftly towards the mysterious temple from out to sea. As they got closer together Mai-Mai's face couldn't hide the awe from being carried through the sky. Kinryu Kyto was also happy to see some joy as they head into this unknown potentially dangerous situation.
Which is what it became as he sensed a flare of power followed by a small barrage of Ki blasts coming from the beach in front of the temple. Causing Mai-Mai to cry out in fear as he had to dodge several of them exploding around them. Highly irritating Kinryu.
When they finally got close enough to land on the beach, Kinryu Kyto spotted Master Will O-Wisp scolding a young shirtless boy whom he assumed must have fired those reckless Ki blasts. Upon letting his lover find her balance on his feet Kinryu marched straight up past Master Will O-Wisp to the shirtless boy Kite and said with earnest displeasure clearly present in his dark Saiyan brown eyes. "Yo, kid! I don't care who you are but I must tell you this now. Remind me later not to kill your stupid ass."
Kinryu Kyto then turned to nod his head as he greeted his new senpai. "Good to see you here Master Will O-Wisp. I didn't get the chance to introduce you to my friend Mai-Mai before you left."
"Hello," Mai-Mai stepped forward to shake the Kame School Master's hand. "Would you happen to know what is going on here?"
It was then Master Daiko spoke. Hearing him go into such details about this place caused Kinryu Kyto to step forward and say. "How can we help?"

Hearing Kiryu’s voice gave Tiger Lily a bit of hope, if there anyone in the world that she knew who was more than capable at solving this puzzle it was him, and she shot up from where she stood clutching her c-phone tightly at the sight of him. At the same time she was so full of emotions, when she opened her mouth to speak, no words came out, and she was fighting back tears almost. Achido was her best friend, if she gave up on him now, she would never be the same again, and she had been training all this time to protect everyone she cared about. The sea air calmed her down eventually, she grew up next to the southern island ocean, it was the most peaceful sound that reminded her that there great opportunities on the horizon. Perhaps all this training she had been doing would allow her to accomplish solving the problem at hand. “Kiryu, please help. Master Daiko’s students and Achido are trapped inside. It’s been days since they went in and have not come out. It doesn’t look that deep, which means it must be a portal of some kind, like the one you made to stop those pirates from firing at us on the Euphoria! Without food or water and the time they have been gone is increasing the danger.” Ty bit her lip, “You’re right, it does give me the creeps too, I felt something similar north of Oolong City for the winter spectacular...the northern islands…”A black and white cat appeared on a yellow cloud, she had seen him before in the southern islands, while out on exhibition for Tuffle technology with Rango who was the owner of the yacht known as the Euphoria. While he looked like an ordinary house cat, he was dressed in a gi, and then he finally spoke up to both Kiryu and Daiko. “My name is Tiger Lily, my best friend has gone inside this temple, and it has been days and I---” Tiger Lily grabbed the brim of her hat, lowering it down to cover her eyes, she was so frustrated by the situation she failed to notice the ki blasts Kite had aimed at her; or notice Will O’ Wisp and Cayle take immediate action to deflect them. By this point there was some discussion about securing the temple from being damaged and a used capsule sales man which made no sense so the rest of the conversation was tuned out. Ty swallowed hard on her negative feelings, she did her best to concentrate on being strong enough to be useful, and by the time she recovered she felt Cayle hug her; while she did not detect him before it was not enough to turn the tide of her emotions. “I am fine, Cayle! What happened to Achido…?” She took off her hat to look up with her ocean teal eyes pleading at Cayle’s cold steel blue hues, he looked fatigued, the sockets of his eyes were visible, and while he was dressed in usual training clothes she could tell something was physically wrong with him. “What happened to you?”Daiko revealed that a powerful sorcerer named Timpani, who served under demon lord Piccolo Daimao, was responsible which left Ty stunned, and she noticed Shinryu with a silver haired woman arrive while the tiger beastman explained the situation further. Piccolo daimao stole Emperor’s Pilaf’s ship that was used to find the dragon balls, her scattered thoughts made her remember that particular memory, as she had been in the magic kingdom of pilaf this entire time, and it seemed evil forces were at work so close to home. In the distance she could see Kite flailing his hands, she narrowed her eyes, it seemed he was trying to get everyone’s attention, and he succeeded except they were all insults. It would be easier to determine what Kite wanted if he got closer, it was possible he did not know how to swim, but he was strong enough to jump if he had a good running start from the shore of Pilaf Land to the island. “What choice do any of us have but to go in there, with our combined might, we can uncover the truth, save everyone, and stop Timpani from trapping anyone else. It’s now or never!” Ty announced to everyone present. “Master Daiko, please step aside! I am going in, there is no more time to waste, Achido has been in there for far too long. By the time we figure something out...it might be too late!”Tiger Lily’s form blinked out of sight, an ability she learned from Kiryu, and reappeared behind Daiko as she took a leap of fate inside the dark temple. Everyone nearby witnessed her stand inside an empty room despite the sun light not being able to reveal the inside, she looked as if she were floating into a black backdrop looking around at nothing until she began to fade away. The entrance was black again and her ki signature was entirely gone from earth.

Near the gathering group, the air suddenly glimmered with magic. Those with sharp senses might recognize it as a certain young lady... The new arrival appeared in a twinkling shroud of arcane energy. A closer look revealed a pale and frail girl with long, mauve hair. Dressed in traditional robes and a wide-brimmed hat, she practically declared her status as a witch even to those who didn’t know her. She seemed a bit too young to be called wicked, however. The keyword being seemed... Eyes still closed, she breathed in the dark atmosphere, savoring the gloomy sensation. Ah, almost like back home... How nostalgic. However, a nagging, little feeling bugged the witch. A small tingle in the back of her mind kept poking her, telling her that she wasn’t alone here. It was a ridiculous notion, really. Who else would come to a cursed... island...? Her crimson eyes opened, only to find a familiar figure. She blinked. Once. Twice. Not really wanting to believe it at first. Finally her gaze narrowed. Venom dripped from her voice. “Oh, it’s you...” No, she was not happy to see Cayle, the shaved gorilla masquerading as a man. Aaand she could imagine the sense animosity was mutual. Hence she refrained from voicing what she truly felt. Instead, the young noble shifted her gaze onto the gathered crowd. Those she didn’t know were barely given a passing glance. By their looks, she judged them all mere peasants, the kind who thought punching things while shouting was somehow a respectable way to live one’s life. However, there was one figure who caught her attention. “Sir Miyazawa... Why am I not surprised to see you here?” A rhetorical question. Of course the hopeless hero would poke his nose into this matter sooner rather than later. She had hoped to reach this place before him, but... Oh well. Surely he wouldn’t object to her doing some research. While a local beastman explained the situation, the witch scoffed quietly. Truly he must have been desperate to rely on these simpletons. One of them even had the gall to ask how they could help. She cast a glance at the orange-haired girl who seemed all too eager to ruin this beautiful place. Worse yet, she seemed to know that Cayle all too intimately. Her nose wrinkled at their little display of tenderness and turned her attention back onto the temple. She could feel something inside calling her name... How very fascinating. Once the strange girl vanished into the temple, Lilith was quick to follow suit. She approached the entrance with calm, fearless steps. Her cold voice chimed like a silver bell. “Hmph, the only way you mortals can make yourselves useful is by staying out of the way. But no matter. Some fools lost in the temple are none of my concern.” Why should she care? She had far more important matters on her mand. “I am simply here to study the source of this lovely magic. You peasants can go drown in the darkness for all I care...” As she stepped into the shadows herself, her body and voice faded away. WC: 528 | 528 Tag: Ty Kiryu Cayle Pota Will O. Kiryu's eyes flashed about, taking in all of the rapid developments as they came. Kiryu had felt the energy blasts coming towards them, of course, and had been about to deal with them when Will O' Wisp, his companion from fighting the giant kaiju shark near South City, took care of that issue for them. He greeted Will with friendship, but privately thought that the cat like martial artist was a bit naive, assuming that those energy blasts had merely been careless and not malevolence. Kiryu noted the power that had produced the blasts, marking it for monitoring... and perhaps dealing with later. Kiryu did know, however, that will was powerful and capable, and his presence at this place was encouraging. "Will! It's good to see you again. I'm glad you're here... I've got a bad feeling about this place. We're going to have to be on our toes in there."
Kiryu turned to Cayle Pota, the mighty Saiyan warrior he had enjoyed sparring with, and though Cayle greeted him pleasantly, clear concern was etched on Kiryu's face as he regarded the fighter. "Tiger Lily is right... you don't look good. That makes me uneasy. Anything that could put someone as strong as you off... well. This might be tough for all of us. As far as this place... I don't know. I could probably try some detection and information sense, but I'm getting a kind of... I don't know. A blank, I guess, would be the best way to put it."
Kiryu paused, then, chewing his lip and considering. "The way this place feels to me...
I don't know if you're a movie buff. I grew up a little isolated from others so I loved all kinds of films. There was this old, classic sci fi horror flick. It was called Xenomorph. Looking back on it, the effects don't really hold up, and the monster is a guy in a rubber suit. But the design of the monster...
It started life in eggs. Hatched and resembled nothing so much as a horrifying blobby crab. Pounced on mammalian victim's faces and forced a tube down their throat to implant an embyronic life form, then this... head holder just dies, right? And you have no idea there's something growing inside you... until it literally chews it's way out of your thoracic or abdominal cavity.
The thing that chews it's way out, it has no limbs. It has a horrifying maw and is quick and can climb walls. It then finds small, weak life forms to consume, to grow, until it can shed it's skin, molting and growing into it's adult form.
Bipedal, vaguely humanoid in the composition of it's body. Jet black. Completely hairless. An elongated, bulbous cranium with no visible eyes. Jagged fangs with, for some horrifying reason, a second mouth and set of fangs within it that could extend out. Blood so acidic that it could burn holes in metal and eat through flesh and bone with ease. Terrifying strength. A ridged tail sharp and strong enough to easily impale a man and lift him off the ground. Incredible stealth and climbing abilities.
The reason this monster became so scary, so iconic, is that it was other. See, it looked somewhat like us, but it was so different, and so, so wrong. It's only mode was aggression. It's only purpose was to feed and kill. It could not be bargained with or understood. It could only kill or be killed. And we fear the other. We always have and we always will.
This place? It's like that. It is... other. Do not expect to see things like anything you have seen before, and once you step foot inside... trust only yourself."
Though his mood was dour, Kiryu turned a kind smile over to Ty. "Don't worry, my friend. I know it seems rough but I'm sure that with us here, we can conquer any challenge together. We just have to remain brave. Which does not mean not to fear! It means to use it and channel it and not be frozen by it... and I know we can do that."
Kiryu was mildly surprise when Lilith, mentioned by Cayle, also arrived at the scene. He inclined her head to her. She actually called him 'Sir' Miyazawa... and unlike their last encounter, there didn't seem to be a hint of irony. "Lady Nevermore. I did not know that I would meet you again so soon! I'm sure you were pulled to this place, much as I was. I think we need to research the temple and ascertain if it is a threat. I'd be happy of the assistance, as your own knowledge of traditional magic far exceeds my own."
Kiryu nodded to the newcomers, introducing himself. "I'm Kiryu. Good to meet you. Watch yourselves in there, if you plan on entering."
Finally, Kiryu closed his eyes, extending his right arm out. Concentrating, he summoned (from nothing, to the naked eye) the wizard's spear that he had created. It appeared to be made of a dark wood, and was etched with arcane runes, the sigils and whorls running the length of the shaft. The head looked to be made of some type of metal, and thought it was a dull grey material, the leaf shaped blade seemed to shine with some inner light, and practically hummed as it moved through the air.
Kiryu breathed in slowly, closing his eyes as his lungs filled to capacity. Kiryu rolled his neck from side to side, and it popped loudly each time. When he opened his eyes, they had changed. They glowed crimson, with geometric patterns in the place where his pupils should be. No aura crackled to life around him, but the pebbles and detritus on the ground around him vibrated, some rising into the air by a centimeter or two as Kiryu gathered his strength.
He said nothing the guardian. He merely nodded, grinned at his friends...
And then he stepped into the shadows of the temple.

It seems to be the one that called themself a Saiyan. If they're here they would be a great asset in helping them beat this threat. All he was doing was trying to convince Daiko to let them in he didn't prattle on that much. Maybe this boy still thinks he is a fake Martial Artist or something. No use arguing with him. It was then that an unexpected visitor came, his student and his lady friend. This...complicates things. And the girl that was here when Will arrived introduced themselves as Tiger Lily. It seems that Cayle and Tiger Lily's friend has gone in but hasn't come out. "While it is nice to see you Kinryu I am afraid it's too dangerous for you to go on ahead, I don't want to lose one of my students as well. I think it would be better if you and Mai-Mai stayed here and guard the temple with Daiko, perhaps this boy can stay here and help as well, I fear they may be a bit too excited to handle the dangers from within. Or even you could join us Daiko and let them guard the place while you go in." Will said. It was then Will stopped and listened to Daiko's explanation. That this might be the work of two elite henchmen to the dreaded Demon King Piccolo. Now, Will has even more reason to let them stay here. This is bigger than he originally thought. Just what are they planning exactly. As Tiger Lily walked in Will then couldn't feel her energy, as if she just vanished as soon as she entered, that's not a good sign at all. It was then Will felt a chill down his spine as a creepy girl or woman covered in magical energy walk by. From the looks of it, she did not seem to like Cayle. Although her condescending way of talking seems to tell she does not like anyone at all. She talks about how she only came to study the magic of this place to walk in and disappear herself. "Okay do not panic, it's probably just some sort of spell that hides the presence of those who enter. They can't be gone yet, Kinryu, again I must ask of you to stay here with the others. I am afraid this could be too dangerous for you. So under no circumstances must you come in, no matter how long we're in there. We will use our power to get everyone inside out, Cayle, you are the strongest and most skilled fighter I ever met. We'll need your help most of all," Will said. He then turned to the entrance, he slowly and carefully walked inside. As he got enveloped into the darkness. Even with his night vision, he does not seem to see anything in this darkness. Must be the work of Timpani's magic, whatever it is they're planning he must stop it before it gets out of hand. Whatever Timpani and Zipher are doing with this temple and whatever they want with the people they captured can't be good, Demon King Piccolo doesn't seem to be the type to take any prisoners.

What the hell? Where did all of these people come from?!
Kite thought. He only threw the ki blasts so that he could get Ty's attention. It would've simply went straight over the island, and over the structures, which included that weird temple. But some people had to get in the way, and make it look as if he was trying to attack someone, or he was trying to destroy something. Cayle showed up out of nowhere, slapping away one of the ki blast. The teenager knew at this point, that he would take that extremely offensive, and once he came closer to the boy, and started to stare at him, fear seeped through his body. He stood there, with a neutral expression on his face, rather than expressing fear, even though he was totally scared, and expected him to.. pulverize him by attacking him once? But he didn't. A cat beastman, that was riding on a nimbus, showed up, that was a little bit stronger than the boy, based on his observation. He started insulting the boy, along with another guy, which was accompanied by a silver haired woman. Why were they even arguing? A few moments before this there wasn't a single person in the way, and once he threw a few ki blasts in order to get Ty's attention, everyone showed up, including Cayle. Kite was angry, yes, but couldn't even speak, as he didn't want to get Cayle irritated.. at all. He didn't want a repeat of what happened the last time they fought. Well.. his attempt to get the orange haired girl's attention was rather inseccesful.
"Damn it! All of that for nothing? All of that embarrassment for nothing? Pfft."
He had to think of something else. Something was obviously wrong, as everyone went over to the island and they were having their own conversations. The only option that was left was to.. run like a mile or something like that.. generate enough speed to actually leap over the water. If that's what he had to do to see what was going on, and to talk to Ty, then so be it. He ran as far as he could on the shore, and once he got to this 5 feet rock, he stopped.
"Ok, here goes.."
He immediately started running as fast as he could, faster than any average human, to be specific. The sand trailed behind the teenager, as he ran down the shores of the beach. It was a rather large beach, and he was surprised that he generated enough speed, to get him over to the island. He leaped off the sandy shores, with full force, and a few moments after, he was in the air, and he used his ki to propel him through the air. Well, to be honest, the air felt really pleasing as it brushed against his chest, but the pain he suffered was terrible, as he was slammed into the ground.. and he fell on his face.
"Ugh! Crap!"
He got up immediately, as he saw the crowd walking inside of the temple.
"Hey! Ty, wait up!"
Apparently everyone left and had already entered the temple, but why? What's going on? He could feel the dark energy inside of the temple from the outside, and he just felt a strong need to find out what was going on. He ran as fast as he could, once he got up, and to be honest it was creepy just feeling the energy coming from this building. He didn't even know what to do, he just stood there.. at the entrance.
"What? Why am I standing here? I need to find out what's going on."
Leaving that statement hanging, he went inside of the temple. He walked briskly, as he was trying to catch up with the others.

Here it was, the source of the energy. A small temple in which several very powerful individuals had gathered. Helix watched from hiding, suppressing his power as low as he could, at least until he could get an idea of who he was dealing with. Not only humans but some of the..stranger beings of this world had shown up. Without much of a frame of reference to compare them to, Helix determined that at least some of these Earthlings knew one another, though perhaps not all of them. Then, even stranger still, they proceeded to enter the small stone building they had all gathered at, one by one, and then vanished into thin air. Their powers simply vanished, and even if they had hidden them away, he doubted they were also able to sneak away in defiance of his potent Namekian ears. Now only three remained, and it was clear that the bulk of the power between these Earthling warriors had already entered the strange temple and vanished. Perhaps it was time to introduce himself, now when the stakes weren't quite as high. Emerging from the foliage, Helix stood at his full height, gently increasing his own power to its normal, if relatively modest, levels. There was no point in trying to show off here, but he at least did not want to appear helpless. It was also good to let his companion off near the shore know that he was still well. Keeping a respectable distance still from the remaining few, he took the chance to get a closer look at them. A fierce and furry warrior stood out most prominently, and though their own power was nothing to scoff at, Helix felt the least threatened by this one, sensing only a kindred desire to protect. Apart from him, a pair of more typical Earthlings were still present, looking as strange as Helix had always found them. One was clearly the stronger of that duo, and its garb spoke to a fighter's background. If any one of the remaining Earthlings would pose a problem, it would be that one. Helix remained on his guard, but at least would speak as a friend.
"I am Helix, from an island to the south, come to see what is causing this disturbance of energy. I did not expect to see so many strong warriors doing the same. What has happened to those who entered that temple?" {405}

Copy found it. Here it was, the very same island that she heard about in just about every corner of these lands. The shapeshifter stood at the coast of the Pilaf Lands, simply, observing the multiple fighters that seemed to converse with one another there. Her own power was heavily suppressed to match that of a regular human, as ever since she arrived here in whatever this place was, she was extremely conscious of blending in as much as possible. She wasn't even in her nun form at the moment. Instead, she took the form of a regular human girl, resembling her nun form somewhat. Possessing the same blonde hair and bright, blue eyes that her favorite shape had. She felt an ominous and rather attracting presence inside of that temple, which probably wasn't a good sign. She had heard rumors, stories about this place, and when they should've moved her to avoid searching for it, they did the opposite. Copy felt oddly drawn to the prospect of magic, dark magic, at that. There was something about its queerness, its uniqueness, its beauty, that compelled Copy to search for it. Not only that, but there were also many strong fighters here, fighters that could be potential assets to the shapeshifter. She smiled to herself. This should be interesting. You don't get a chance to play with the shadows like this everyday. Therefore, whenever an opportunity like this arises, one must take it. She released her power, removing the figurative cap that was placed on it, allowing all of the energy to flow through her body freely, bringing the powerful feeling of strength back to her mind. She jumped upwards suddenly, and soared through the air towards the small island. She landed roughly on the surface of it, almost all attention drawn towards her. Dust was kicked up by the sudden landing, and Copy dusted herself off before observing all of those who were present. It seems as if all the other fighters had wandered inside already, their bodies along with their ki signatures, completely disappearing from this earthly plain. Things like these did nothing to frighten Copy, instead only adding fuel to the fire of excitement that burned brightly within her. She looked at the guards in turn, giving small, subtle nods to each and every one of them before her gaze settled on the Namekian. A Namekian? Why was he here? What could he want? Was he simply here out of sheer curiosity and a desire for power much like herself? Probably. But it was rather odd to see a warrior Namek out in these parts. Especially near a ominous and terrifying temple. She placed her hands on her hips and cocked her head to the side, a loud crack becoming audible as she did so. What bones did she have to crack? She had bones? Well, maybe. She had heard the dialogue of the green skinned slug, and had unconsciously answered them. "They are gone, Namekian. Off to tassle with whatever dangers that await them in the temple, and I'm guessing that you are here to do the same. I am doing so as well, and as such, I suppose we simply enter, together, and follow them."The utterly long response she gave was unnecessary, not needed, yet she felt like she had to make the offer. The Namekian's power hovered around her own at the moment, and he wore a warrior's clothing. At least, based on what she remembered about Namekians. Either way, her offer stood, as he seemed to be capable. There's no telling what would await them on the other side, and as such, she might need aid.
