Personality: Misaki is a relatively good-natured young woman with an enthusiasm for taking care of plants and botany in general. She has a relatively normal moral compass for a teenaged girl and a fairly ordinary list of hobbies for the most part. This does not come through in her speech, necessarily. While the woman speaks politely, it's clear there is a sadistic streak. she talks casually of 'killing' or 'crushing' things without the slightest change in tone, She seems to have remarkably little sympathy for other's troubles, and consistently talks of rather heavy topics with the same polite smile on her face from beginning to end.
In the end, she is of the opinion she is 'strong', and has no problem telling people they are 'weak' if that is her belief. this evaluation seems to have only a tangential connection to power level. She does not act in an aggressive fashion for the most part, and will do her best to help people out, however... this changes in a few circumstances. If asked to fight, her goal becomes to crush her opponent with all her might. If she sees people causing unnecessary harm to plants, she will show them no mercy and seek to teach them a painful 'lesson' about just what they are doing, and why they should respect plantlife. This does not extend to a problem with farming or any other use of plants - she understands the basic ecosystem and the necessity in plants both living and dying - but will not tolerate unnecessary trampling or damage.
She is very saiyan-like in terms of her own lust for battle, however, loving putting herself to the test and putting her existence to the test in battle, though unlike most saiyans, will not usually challenge others to a fight actively. However, she's unlikely to hold back once challenged.
As a being gifted with special abilities and strength, neither of which she's had to work for, Misaki has questions of her own existence. Why is she different from other humans? Why does she feel so disconnected from other humans? Why does she seem to look at ordinary life with such a different lens from her peers? These are questions she wishes to answer for herself.
Misaki enjoys speaking to plants more than people or animals, and thus tends to avoid lengthy conversations with most. To her, plants are the one thing that speaks to her as an ordinary friend, and she regards them as being closer to her than any human or animal could be. she has an odd lack of common sense about some of her decisions, but makes them with full confidence. Misaki fully believes in any decision she makes, and is not prone to doubt her own judgement. When she decides to do something, she commits to it utterly.
History: Misaki is an ordinary girl who has went through a rather uninteresting life. Her parents, Seiko and Shirou Kazamiya, were decent if distant parents who took care of their girl, but even after being born her cold, quiet nature distanced herself from even her parents. the daily life that she did was ordinary, but detached, and has so far remained this way, with one notable saiya-jin exception that remains fixated on her.
RP Sample: It's a cold day for summer, enough to make a girl shiver. Luckily, she stuck to a fairly conservative outfit, so in Misaki's case, she was more than adequately protected from the unnatural chill. She would have preferred to stay home after school in weather like this, but the greenhouse needed tending to, and she wasn't willing to ask the rest of the gardening club to come in on a day off like this. Besides, it'd be nice and warm inside the greenhouse.
---Misaki Kazamiya---
The girl kept walking, humming to herself as she went. the sidewalk here ran alongside a lush area, filled with flowers and other plants trying their best to angle themselves towards the sun in this trying time. Misaki felt sympathetic towards them, but she knew there was nothing she could do. this was simply nature at work, and she was a harsh mistress.
As she kept walking, though, the whispering started again, and Misaki stopped to hear it.
"...What was that?...Three men? Oh dear, I'm so sorry, that was my mistake. Four men?"
Misaki looked towards the nearby hedges, noticing only the gentlest of rustlings, and nodded.
"Oh, don't worry about me. I'm sure all of us will get along just fine! Thank you so much for the warning, Mister Bluebell!"
---She has the power to speak to Plants---
It didn't take long for the hooligans in question to catch up, it seemed. Misaki turned with a gentle twirl, her umbrella being spun in her hand, as she gave a polite smile to her new friends.
"Hello there~"
Of the four men who stood there, three looked back, utterly baffled. "But how did she know we were... and we were hiding our power levels too, just like boss showed us..."
Misaki turned her attention to the fourth, though. these other ones wore school uniforms, but she paid so little attention in school to her colleagues she usually didn't recognize their names.
The fourth, however, was one she'd had the unfortunate pleasure of getting to know well. A delinquent by the name of Batanet. One of the many Saiya-jin that populated the world, though among a slightly smaller minority to go to a mixed high school.
"That's our Misaki for you. She's just too bright for you clods to handle. That's exactly why I picked her to be my bride."
Batanet ran a hand through his spiky black hair, before offering a hand forward. "Well, that and your power level. So, you're not going to be foolish this time, right?"
Misaki's smile grew a little more pronounced, but her tone was bright and cheery in her reply. "Foolish? And here I thought I was bright! Sometimes you can be so confusing, Batanet!"
The Saiyan turned a little pink at the words, looking away at Misaki's statement. "That's not... exactly what I meant... I, uhh, mean about you being foolish, so I..."
The flustered boy stops himself mid-sentence to clear his throat, his confidence immediately coming back. "You're right. What I meant to say was that your knight in shining armour has finally arrived. And he's asking you for your partnership."
Misaki Nods. "So I see. But I don't recall either a castle or a dragon. Shouldn't a knight only come when the maiden needs saving? Although, then again, I suppose in that situation I'd have simply butchered the dragon and left on my own terms... my, my, the whole metaphor's coming apart at the seams!"
Batanet takes a second of staring, trying to comprehend what Misaki is going on about, before turning red. "Y-you, uhhh... this is what I'm talking about! We're perfect for eachother! So why won't you go out with me?"
The Girl shrugs. "Well, I suppose if I had to put it down to a reason... I'd say it's because you're weak."
The Saiyan steps forward, at that, his energy flaring out with a deep violet colour before grabbing Misaki's shoulder with an angry look. "I am the strongest person in the school! My power level outstrips everyone here! I'm already on my way to learning how to fly! I have fighting skills that are complimented by veterans!"
"And yet you needed to outnumber me before approaching. You've twice now attempted to bully me into becoming yours. And you bully others for the express purpose of making yourself feel better. you demonstrate your vast power by picking on those weaker than you."
"That's just a part of being strong."
"And as long as you believe that, you'll be the weakest person in the school~"
A fist came to meet Misaki's face, blindingly fast.
It quickly found itself impaled on the spike of an umbrella.
"A-ahhh! What the hell..."
The girl looked up with a smile. "Oh, my. The strongest man in school is holding onto the stab wound in his hand just like any other man would."
the Saiyan clutched his hand with a snarl, the blood flowing from an open wound left by the ki-enhanced parasol as he howled in pain.
"boss!" his cronies yelled at once.
"Get away from me! I'll show her just how strong I am!"
Misaki, for her part, only smiled. "...My, when you're like this, you become just a little cuter, Batanet~. Well then... it's always been my policy not to back down from a challenger."
The saiyan's response was a snarl, as a violet missile of energy was thrown towards Misaki.
The girl smiled. "Oooh... those are stronger than your usual ki blasts, aren't they? This must be that saiyan power I hear about."
Misaki's polite smile turned from sweet to sinister as it widened like a snake's, and the woman slapped the blast away with a casual air. "For someone who is weak, that was a great effort... I take it it is my turn, now?"
Batanet's eyes widened, as he quickly put his hands together, charging a stronger blast in anticipation of what Misaki would do next. A low growl turned into a yell, as he focused all his ki into his hands, creating a violet, crackling blast that thundered and sparked.
Misaki, for her part, gently hummed, taking the relaxed stance of an old housewife, as she let her shoulders sag. The green-haired fighter gently cracked her neck, and golden energy began collecting around her. a gentle, nearly inperceptible wind fell from her, as she stared towards her opponent without a care in the world.
Then, in a single instant, that snakelike grin appeared again, and a glare of pure malicious enjoyment adorned her face. Her umbrella was furled, and now, the full power of the sun surrounded and empowered her, as her golden ki mixed with the sunlight around her.
"Solar Axis!" The gardener yelled with a look of pure delight on her face.
"Punishing flare!" Batanet yelled, as the two techniques clashed.
Violet struck gold as the blasts warped and fizzled the atmosphere. the sheer wind pressure and force thrown by the attacks sent Batanet's three cronies flying off from their makeshift arena on the grounds and left them plastered against the school walls.
Batanet grinned. "Oh, is the princess getting serious now?"
"Princess? I'm merely a gardener."
"I wouldn't know it from how you act! You sequester yourself off, sit by yourself, and act like you're better than anyone else! Who gave you the right to think so highly of yourself!"
"Highly of myself?" The Kazamiya asked, the anger of the question seeming not to affect her at all. "...I see. You are mistaken, Batanet."
"Then why? Why of all the women in the school..."
"That's simple.
Not one of you interested me. I saw no need to speak to any of you."
The Saiyan's look changed from one of anger, to confusion, to embarassment, to fury again, and his energy blast followed suit, nearly entirely engulfing Misaki's golden glow with violet light as he pushed his energy forward.
The Teenaged girl grinned, as the violet beam began to overtake her own.
"But... seeing you like this, with killing intent so strong in your energy... I dislike you less than I did." Misaki said with an even smile.
"Scared? Now that I've proven I can overpower you?"
"Well..."
Misaki grinned, as her eyes glowed with golden light.
"Let's not go too far."
Batanet's eyes widened as he realized what he'd gotten into, but it was far too little, too late for him to save himself as Misaki's figure became blinding, and her blast gobbled his violet beam at ridiculous speed.
Then, all Batanet knew afterwards... was pain. Searing, burning pain.
It took a few moments for Misaki to walk to his side, her pace just as casual and slow as it was when she was walking on the sidewalk earlier. Humming a gentle tune, she walked to the fallen saiyan's side.
"...W-why..."
The gardener's smile was genuine, as she looked down at him. "...If you become strong, come find me after graduation. Once you've stopped being so weak. I'll make you my favorite shrub."
"...I don't understand you at all."
"I know."
And with that, Misaki Kazamiya continued, unhurried as always, to go check on her plants
