SUCCESS! Finally Beruto managed to land a hit, feeling his sneakers cleanly impact the other young man's back. The small victory was short lived however. By the time Beruto was back on his feet and turning around to face Cade, ostensibly to see how well his kick had fared, the other shirtless man buried a shoe deep into the teen's already tenderized abs.
“Oooohhh!” Beruto groaned as he folded over the man's leg and was launched backwards, leaving a trail of saliva behind. The shirtless boy narrowly missed the follow up to his chin, propelled away from his opponent by the sheer power of the impact to his midsection. The red headed teen landed on his back in a heap, arms and legs flopping about haphazardly. “Oh man... You're good.” Beruto complimented his black haired opponent, again breaking his rules about talking during a fight, however seeing as he was already on his back he didn't see any reason not to. Cade's comment about Deamons though just struck the teen as silly and he dismissed it, it was something that belonged in his action comics, not real life.
Taking a moment to rub his aching middle, Beruto hauled himself back to his feet, refusing to give up. Clearly after the combination to his gut and the following kick, Cade had figured out where he was weak and was now exploiting that weakness, which was fine by him. Beruto's ego wasn't so huge that he would mind losing to a better fighter, especially if he was beaten in the manliest way. There was no more macho way to get destroyed than to have your core crushed by a stronger man. Of course Beruto had no intention of simply laying down and taking a beating, he was going do his best to give it right back to him and if it came to it, he'd force the other fighter to knock him out.
That in mind, Beruto stopped comforting his nearly demolished abdominals and straitened up. His right arm still useless, the sweaty red headed teen, took another moment to decide on his next move, seeing as Cade seemed to be giving him opportunities to recover and fight back. Clearly he had to do something to cancel out the man's speed and that meant he had t switch from striking to grappling. With only one good arm and his legs, the course seemed pretty clear, with only one real option that the boy could see towards victory. Skipping forward to cut the distance between them, but not enough to collide, Beruto ducked down and attempted to sweep the legs out from under Cade and then slip one leg under the man before he might land. His other leg would come around and lay across Cade's midsection and then Beruto intended to crank up the pressure and squeeze with all of his might in a savage cross body scissor.
“They this out!” the cocky teen would shout if he managed to get the hold locked on. Granted he hold left Cade's arms free, but he would have some control of the man's mobility now, even if it did at the same time leave himself immobile and vulnerable to counter punches. That though was a risk the boy was wiling to take, banking on his remaining stamina to hold out while he squeezed the breath out of his opponent.

Cade felt the other man's stomach give way before his foot and waited patiently for him to get up. He gave him a salute at the compliment feeling glad to be fighting someone honorable rather than a demon or a giant dinosaur, "Thanks, I've been training for a long time. I expect you'll be more than my match one day, you're a tough son of a gun already." The red haired fighter's face had flashed with skepticism when he had mentioned demons... Cade wondered if people from further off really didn't know the plight of the people in the southern demon lands. That was a damn crying shame, and maybe explained why they were allowed to thrive in that place. He shook his head, he needed to focus on the fight...
Beruto was almost upon him and Cade barely had time to brace himself as the other fighter swept his legs out from under him. He felt himself land on his opponent's leg and saw him bringing the other leg over to pinch him down. He quickly put 2 and 2 together and slid down and rolled away before he could lock the grip in. His rolled back and tried to lock the other fighter in a sleeper hold. He threw his arm around the other fighter's thick pillar of a neck and tried to tighten his grip as he brought his other hand up to assist with applying leverage. If he got a good hold, he would continue to hold it and try to press his advantage. If not, he would try to establish it once more on the uncannily muscled fighter. He wasn't usually a close grappler... but he had paid his dues on the mat and knew how it was done. He thought he had about a good enough grip, but he guessed he would be able to tell better when the other man started trying to break out of his hold... {Spoiler}{Battle Tracker}

Foiled once again! Landing the kick on his black haired opponent looked like it was turning out to be a combination package of a fluke of luck and a bundle of false hope. The man was simply too fast for the teen to be able to hit reliably and with any power. Oh sure he'd managed a few slapping attacks and counters, but had otherwise completely failed to hurt the other shirtless male. Likewise, the fluke of luck struck again when he managed to sweep the man's legs out from under him, but frustratingly, failed to get his legs around Cade's midsection in time to trap him. Instead, the slippery flesh comet completely turned things on their head for Beruto, managing to get around behind the boy and snake his arm around the sweating teen's neck.
“Aaagh!...” the boy choked out before the pressure started to crank up. There was of course a moment of panic, as anyone would have when another person is essentially trying to choke them out, but this wasn't the first time for the fiery red head, and the moment passed quickly. Wasting only a couple of second's, Beruto put his escape plan into progress and tried to shove himself backwards against Cade, the closer he could press himself to the man the better. Then with his only good arm, he would haul off and ram his elbow back into the other man's stomach, ribs, chest, anywhere it might land from this disadvantageous position. Over and over the teen intended to drive his elbow back with as much force as he could manage while he still had the strength and mental capacity to do so.

Cade set the sleeper hold into place and began to turn on the pressure. Beruto's neck almost felt like a tree trunk a he really tried to bear down; he wasn't even sure that he was being effective until he saw the other fella's face start to turn red. He thought he might have the other fighter in a bad place now... depending on how experienced he was with grappling. He felt the man shift towards him... and start sending vicious elbows back his way. The peppered his ribs and gut, causing him to grunt in pain, but he didn't release his grip at first... until one caught him on the temple and he blacked out for half a second. He felt his arms go loose and the red haired dynamo slipping from his grip... Cade felt a little like his mind was floating in wool and the world seemed to be moving slow... he needed to stop his opponent from getting away. He called his ki up to enhance his limbs; blue light burst from him as he lunged forward and muttered, "Oh no you don't..." grabbed at the mans arm to flip him over his hip and back down to the mat. After Beruto was down, Cade rolled up to a kneeling position and leveled one solid punch down at the other fighter's ribs, hoping to knock the air out of him. {Battle Tracker}

BAM!... BAM!... BAM!... BAM!
In his desperate struggle to get out of the choke hold, Beruto blasted his elbow back, driving it into Cade's stomach, his chest, his ribs, somehow he even beaned the other shirtless young man in the face, something the red haired teen tried never to do. All of the body blows got nice, grunting reactions from his opponent, but it wasn't until the accidental elbow to the face that Cade let go, dropping to the mat himself. Wasting no time, the shirtless red head tried to scramble back to his feet and away, however Cade's momentary lapse of awareness didn't last long enough for the boy to make his escape. Instead he managed to grab the boy's right arm and since it was his numb one, Beruto didn't know he had been caught until his forward momentum was abruptly reversed and a moment later he found himself flat on his back, both of his arms flopping out to either side and leaving him completely open to Cade's follow up attack. His black haired adversary positioned himself on his knees next to the downed, vulnerable teen and expertly launched a punch strait down into the boy's exposed solar plexus.
THUD!
“UUUUUGHHHHHHH!!!...” the result was explosive, Cade's fist smashed deep into the upper most portion of Beruto's stomach, blasting the sensitive nerve cluster there and ejecting veritable gallons of saliva from the shirtless boy's mouth along with every molecule of air his already troubled lungs contained. However, what Cade might not have planned for was the severity of the suffering boy's reaction to the devastating punch. Leaning over him as he was when he launched his fist so deep into Beruto's stomach that the boy swore it went through him into the floor, Cade's head was right in line with the red head's when the boy jack-knifed off the mat, sitting up vertically from the punch. The result would be if Cade didn't avoid the impact, Beruto unintentionally head-butting Cade in the face as well as a potential and just as unintentional clubbing one the shoulder or neck with his numb right arm as he folded up.
Regardless of whether he actually hit the other man or not, Beruto was practically spent. After curling up from the atomic bomb dropped into his stomach, the boy flopped back to the mat, his arms ending up dangling up above his head as he laid there. It was near impossible for the shirtless, sweat soaked boy to breath, but he manged to get in a gasp of air and let out a pained groan. If he hadn't some how miraculously knocked Cade out with his flailing head butt, Beruto knew he was finished. He would lay there and nod to the speedy man and then take another breath before wheezing. “Go for it dude... Just KO me... Another like that... and I'm done...” he'd gasp and then close his eyes, waiting for Cade to unload another strike into his innards and put him to sleep for the next few hours.

Cade managed to grab hold of Beruto's slack arm and used it to leverage the youth into a hard landing on the mat. His felt the air leave the other fighter's lungs in an explosive sound as his fist connected directly to his solar plexus with a mighty strike. Cade paused to wipe some of the saliva from his face, it had truly been much more than he had bargained for, as it flew out along with the air of Beruto's lungs. The other fighter seemed to panic, throwing a headbutt at Cade that he slipped aside of barely and answered with a sharp punch at his noggin in retaliation. He followed that with a jerky motion and then a wild punch that he caught as it neared him, not harming him but leveraging him away and off of the red head a bit. Cade reflexively kicked down at the other fighter's side then stood up and slid away. He watched the younger fighter for a few moments and saw he was in genuine pain. His heart went out to the plucky fighter, he had heart and determination. He knelt down nearby and called out, "Hey, buddy, you ok? I can call the medics in if you need them... or just let you take a second. Don't want to kick ya while you're down or anything." He held out his hand to help the other man up if he would accept the gesture. {Battle Tracker}

Laying on the mats, flat on his back, ready for Cade to just finish him, Beruto was surprised not by getting kicked in the side as the other shirtless young man put distance between them, but rather by the fact that he came back, offering his hand. The offer of medical attention was decidedly premature, as far as the sweat soaked red headed teen could tell, he didn't have any broken ribs, just a horribly aching mess of internal organs and lungs which could barely get a breath in. It also presupposed that he had lost, and if Cade was unwilling to knock him out, than Beruto hadn't lost yet.
“Man... If I get up... I'm gonna hit you... But if that's... what you want...” the shirtless boy gasped. He took a few more labored breaths, looking between Cade's concerned features and his offered hand, biding his time to recover as much as possible. This was probably his last chance to make any sort of move and he knew just what he would have to do. Saying no more, Beruto nodded as if he were begrudgingly accepting Cade's help up off of the mats and then reached up with his good left hand. Grasping the black haired man's hand though, Beruto did not try to haul himself off of the floor, instead he quickly yanked down, intending to try and pull Cade off balance while at the same time lifting his legs and lock them around the man's open midriff. If he managed to get his legs wrapped around the other shirtless man's body, Beruto would pour on as much of his dwindling reserves of strength as he could muster and squeeze the breath out of his opponent. They were down to the wire, Cade could finish him with one punch at this point and he probably would, but the fiery red head was going to do his damnedest to make the man work for his victory.

Cade grinned as his opponent declared his intent to continue the battle if he got up. He could respect the grit and determination on display; he could appreciate having the drive to continue to the bitter end. He gathered his senses and reached out to grab Cade's hand... and yanked him back towards the mat. Cade had half expected something like this when his opponent had declared his intent to fight. He rolled with the motion and jumped forward to avoid the leg lock the other fighter was trying to lay on him. As soon as he hit the mat, his mind started racing and he rolled to get eyes on his opponent once again. Beruto was moving to angle for another hold... so Cade took preemptive action and slugged him a good on in the gut, since it seemed he was sensitive there. He felt his fist smack into the other man's abdomen and winced in sympathy. He slid his other arm free of the red haired dynamo's grip and got up to one knee before eyeing the other man and judiciously adding a single punch more to his ribs before hopping up and stepping away. He waited to see if the man had any more fight in him... He was pretty sure he hadn't seriously injured him or anything like that, but he probably wasn't feeling to good. Maybe he could take the younger man to the side and give his some recommendations for tightening up his routine. He seemed a good enough kid, and he might become someone Cade was glad to have by his side. "You good bud, or we done? You're a tough enough feller, but if you want to talk after this I could give you a few tips on tightening up your defenses." Cade waited expectantly for the match to either be over or to continue, though he no longer had much doubt about what the inevitable conclusion would be.{Battle Tracker}

Beruto's last gasp effort to grapple Cade met with the same failure which almost all of his other attempts to attack the other shirtless man had. His black haired opponent seemed to intuit the attack and using his inhuman speed, countered the red headed teen's offensive maneuver with one of his own. Cade dodged Beruto's attempt at a lock and then struck back, burying a punch in to the boy's navel and sinking his fist clear through to the kid's spine. The shirtless, sweat slick teen was already exhausted, his abs were already trashed and so the defense musculature did nothing to resist the man's fist as it crushed his innards.
"Uuuuuuaaaaaghhhhhhhhh!!!" the boy let out a long, pained groan as his stomach folded around Cade's fist and he flopped back to the floor, his arms dropping back above his head. The boy was helpless and pretty much finished, all of his strength drying up as he laid there, gasping for a breath. Cade seemed determined to ensure that the fight was well and truly finished, which Beruto actually respected him for, and blasted the boy directly in the solar plexus again with his other fist, repeating the devastating blow which the shirtless teen had taken mere moments ago and completely annihilating the Beruto's consciousness.
"Aaaaaaaaaghhhhhhhhh!!!" Once more Beruto's core absorbed the titanic hit to it's most sensitive area and once more a veritable fountain of spit flew out of the boy's mouth along with every molecule of air in his lungs. He stared wide eye'd in shock, up at the other man for a few moments, his chest trying several times to expand and take a much needed breath, but each was a false start and after another moment the boy's eyes rolled back and his head lolled to the side, his mind submerging into darkness as he passed out. In another few moments his breath would return but Beruto was officially knocked out. He missed the man's words and any count which may have been issued as his mind swam in the murky darkness for some time, and he would remain in that state for a good half hour or so, to wake up, most likely in the locker room or infirmary.

Cade stood, victorious over his opponent and watched as the medical team came out to check on him. He hadn't really meant to hit him that hard... but maybe he had gained more strength than he had thought. He waited until one of the men signaled for a stretcher to come out before he hesitantly asked, "He gonna be ok, Doc? I didn't hurt him did I?"
The man looked up briefly and shook his head and said in a reassuring tone, "He'll be all right Champ. you just knocked the air outta him so good that he passed out. A little rest and he'll be up and at 'em, right as rain. We're taking him back to the infirmary if you wanna see him after the award ceremony."
Cade nodded his thanks and went to where the head judge waited for him. He accepted the belt, a trophy, and coupons for a free dinner at a local diner. The belt was quite nice really, even though it was just a red cloth belt with CCMAC Champ stitched in gold thread. He offered to take Beruto's trophy to him and the judge agreed to let him handle it, handing him the second place trophy. Cade went and found where they had laid the young man out. The infirmary was a small room with a couple of cots and an old beat up desk. The office chair was currently unoccupied so Cade plopped down in it and began to idly spin a few times . He sat Beruto's trophy, shaped like a clenched fist held up into the air, on the table and spied a container of paperclips. He took a few out of the container and idly chained them together as he waited. He leaned back and the chair squealed in protest before stopping and cradled him as he idly reached for more paperclips. Wonder how long I can make this thing? He set about finding out, adding to his paperclip chain until the red haired youth finally woke up.

It was a good half hour after he had been knocked out when the inert body of the red headed boy once again started to show signs of life, other than his steady, all be it, labored breathing. Stirring and letting out a groan, Beuto's mind slowly started to rise up from the soupy blackness of unconsciousness and the first thing he was aware of was the persistent ache which was still throbbing through his guts. This wasn't the first time he had been knocked out in this fashion and he was sure it would not be the last, so the sequence of events was pretty well known to him. That didn't mean the results were terribly pleasant however and Beruto knew he'd have to take it easy for the next few days until his core fully recovered from the pasting he had just received.
"Ohhhhh... Man..." the shirtless young man groaned and slowly opened his eyes but quickly bright his arms up and crossed them over his face until he could adjust to the light. "Anyone catch the number of that train?" the red headed teen joked, unaware that the only other person in the room was the very man who had rendered him unconscious. Reopening his eyes and taking his arms away from his face, Beruto looked around at his surroundings, noting the other cots, a desk, an already ridiculously long chain of paper clips which was still being worked on and his final opponent from the tournament. Trying to sit up and utterly failing due to his pulverized abdominal muscles, Beruto let out a muffled groan from the sudden spike in discomfort and opted to roll on his side and then sit up sideways. It was the first time he had a real chance to look at the guy while he wasn't bouncing around and moving too fast for the teen to see, so naturally Beruto took a moment to scan the man's physique up and down. 'Heh, nice to know I wasn't KO'd by a cream puff.' the boy thought to himself.
"Nice chain you got going there... I uh, take it I've been out a while?" he asked the other shirtless man.

Cade had become so intent on his task of chaining paper clips together that he almost jumped with surprise as Beruto let out a low groan. He almost dropped the paperclip but he managed to get it safely into place on the chain. He reached over to the paperclip tray and felt around until he snagged the last one and began to put it into place as he patiently waited for the young man to gather himself together and wake up. No need to hurry him along, Cade figured he owed the younger man the time he needed to get his noggin on straight since he'd been the one to knock him out. Cade finished his chain and began feeding it slowly back into the tray where they had been before his interference as he saw the youth roll over onto his side and push himself into an upright position. He grinned at Beruto's words, "Yeah, it has been a few minutes, maybe 30 or so, not too bad though. I just get bored easy and they foolishly let me within reach of something I could tinker with. How's the gut, buddy? Seems like that was the only part of you that I hit that really hurt ya."
He paused for a moment as he finished feeding the chain back into the tray; the nurse or med tech who used this desk would probably be cursing his name for the next few weeks. If they figured out it was him that had done it. He turned to regard the red haired fighter and said, "It was a real fun fight. I have your trophy here." He grabbed the trophy of the upraised fist and handed it over to the younger man. "If you don't mind a few pointers, I could give you some advice. I'll take you over to the diner across the street, give you some tips on defense, my treat." He hopped up from the creaking chair and offered Beruto a friendly smile, "Unless your stomach hurts too much, I understand. You could get a milkshake, that would be kind of like putting ice on it, right?"

Sitting upright but opting to remain on the cot upon which he'd been placed, Beruto was happy to see that the guy wasn't some jerk, absorbed by his own abilities. Indeed, his former opponent seemed to be quite down to earth and glad that he hadn't seriously injured the boy. As Beruto earlier surmised during their fight, Cade had figured out where he was weak so there wasn't any point in denying it, and so the red haired teen chuckled and shrugged. "Heh, yeah, I guess you found my soft spot. About the only place on me that if soft, so I don't guard it just to give the competition a chance. Guess I should have stared guarding it after you started hammering me." Beruto replied.
"But you were just too damn fast man. Holy smokes." he added and accepted the trophy when it was handed to him. "Thanks." the shirtless red headed teen replied and looked the trinket over before setting it on the bed beside him and considered Cade's offer. "Well, tips I don't know about, I'm pretty sure I know what I did wrong. Dinner though would be nice, seeing as I was kind enough to play host to your fists for all of ten minutes." the boy joked. "But seriously, don't worry about it, this isn't the first time I've gotten my butt handed to me. It actually happens a lot more than I'd like to admit, what with all the free shots I give out." Beruto added with another chuckle and hauled himself off the bed. "Oh, don't let me forget, we should totally trade cell phone numbers during dinner, it would be nice to get together for some training from time to time. Hey, maybe we can even start a club or something. We were like the only two dudes out there without shirts. What do you think?" Beruto asked as he picked his trophy up and stepped around the desk to offer Cade a proper hand shake fore they departed for their dinner.
