Rik leaned against the alley wall, considering if he really needed to find shelter for the night or if he would be safe enough sleeping here. He knew that... homeless people... did so at times. He closed his eyes and remembered his own rooms from a bygone age with fondness; he had not achieved sleep as comfortable or as refreshing in this time as of yet. Maybe one day he would be able to build himself a place where he could take his ease again. Until then, he had a decision - the alley or try to find a bed for the night. Before he could decide, he heard footsteps coming down the alley. He stepped out from behind the dumpster and placed a hand on his sword and began scanning the alleyway. The last encounter he had in an alleyway had been less than friendly, though it had been somewhat entertaining. He shifted his stance and took a few steps clear of the dumpster and called out, "Who goes there? Come any closer and I might have to beat you into the concrete." "Ugh, this place bores me anymore." He muttered to him, before slugging down the rest of his beer and standing up from the bar. Zukkah looked around to see that most of the people had left, so he thought it was only right to make his way back home. The saiyan warrior was feeling a bit tipsy and irritated from failing to beat Romanus into the dirt in their first training session, but that's exactly why he was at the bar.
With the moon illuminating the night sky, Zukkah stepped outside and smiled brightly, knowing that if he were to stare too long, he would transform into an Oozaru great ape. If that were to happen, the city and everyone around would be in great danger and Zukk had no qualms with the citizens of Oolong city or the city itself. He in fact enjoyed the sin city and the opportunities that were presented to him by a fellow saiyan and her comrades.
As Zukkah made his way around the bar and into an alleyway, he began to stumble a bit from the alcohol running through his bloodstream, but he stopped when he heard a voice speak up in a weird tone of voice. "Huh, who's there? No need to hide, I'm just a drunk citizen looking to make his way home." He called out to whoever was in the alley with him. Zukkah remained still, using his only eye to scan the area, in hopes of finding whoever was with him.

He saw a figure come into focus before him; his HUD snapped a reticle around them and the figure started flashing in his sight. Figure detected. Scanning. .. .... Target is a Saiyan male - threat level unknown.
Rik perked up a little with interest as the scan completed, the last saiyin he had fought had been no mean opponent. He walked out towards the man, his face still shrouded by his hooded jacket. He rolled his shoulders and looked the man in the eye, "Greetings, I am Riku Masumura. Where I am from there were none of your kind. I am told that saiyans are supposed to be great warriors. I would test the truth of that, if you are not a coward." Rik threw his jacket open to reveal his sword on his hip and raised his eyebrow as he placed his hand upon its hilt. He had no desire to fight a man walking in completely blind; though the man did have an eye patch it looked like. He was large, but not overly so and had some sort of odd armor on. As Zukkah watched the man move just the slightest, he stopped and listened to what he had to say. It seemed that the man was a fighter and that alone had the barbaric saiyan intrigued to his real intentions. "A test of strength, huh? As a saiyan, I must accept your offer. Romanus will be jealous that he isn't here to witness this one." He announced to the Android with a slight smirk on his face. Zukkah didn't know what to think of the man, but it seemed the two were in an alleyway and that wasn't the best spot for a fight.
As the saiyan thought of what to do, he looked around to find a safer spot for them to fight, then he noticed a large clearing just across the street with no civilians present at the time. "There!" He muttered to himself, as he pointed to the open field. "We can spar over there. It's away from the buildings and any living beings." He said to Riku, then began to slowly walk off toward the open area. "Riku, huh? The name is Zukkah." The saiyan announced, as he continued to walk.

When Zukkah felt that he was a comfortable distance away from the buildings and civilization, he looked to the being with a bit of curiosity. " Hm, every person I have come across is always itching for a fight. My father trained me like he was trained at my age, but I am nothing like a saiyan." He announced to the being with a slight grin upon his lips. His tail swayed back and forth, as if it was curious as to what was going to happen. The smirk vanished from his face and quickly taken over by a serious expression. Zukkah quickly ripped the gray cape from his shoulders and tossed it aside, while continuing to stare down his new opponent. The black tank top and barbaric looking outfit was his choice for fighting, it was rare training gear that was given to him by an odd friend of his. The saiyan kept his eyes on the man before him, but wanted to see just how strong he was, so he quickly threw his left arm up and fired off three Ki Blast straight toward the Android. Rik followed the man away from the alley and soon they were out into a relatively open space that should afford them the freedom to cut loose. He turned to face the man named Zukkah and watched as he cast his cloak aside. Riku shrugged out of his own cloak and drew his katana, the steely ring singing out in the night air as it pulled free. He reached into his bag and pulled out a blade guard and fitted it to the edge of the blade, running his finger along it and showing the other man that he would not be receiving deadly cuts from it. He took a ready position in a form called Lion on the hill and waited for the saiyan to make the first move. He didn't have long to wait as he almost immediately raised his hands and started shooting blasts of ki towards the android. The first blast was well off the mark and he didn't even bother to move; he sidestepped the next one and started charging forth and evade the path of the last one. As he started getting closer to the saiyan he called upon his own reserve of energy and an aura of jade green energy burst into being around him for a moment. He used the power to propel his attacks at the man leading with a simple slash that would knock the breath out of him if it contacted his ribs. Rik stepped back for a moment after his initial attack reading his opponents reaction to his first attack while he whirled his glowing blade around and then whipped it down in a sharp blow towards his left knee seeking to hinder his defense temporarily. { } DEFENSE PHASE. Zukkah was rather surprised to see that his opponent had a katana as a weapon. In fact, it was something his parents wanted to teach him, but he had never got around to it since the saiyan ran away from home for a greater purpose in life. Zukk grew up in one of the smaller islands to the south with a mother who wanted him to be strong, but also intelligent as well. His father on the other hand always wanted to see if he could mold his son into the saiyan his ancestors would be proud of, but the man failed and watched as Zukkah ran off to a new life. With each of his energy blasts being swiped away, the saiyan smirked wide, adjusting the eyepatch upon his face, before watching and sensing every movement from Riku. With a quick step back, Zukkah managed to evade the first of the two attacks. As the swordsman attempted to slash down toward the saiyan's knee, Zukkah rolled out of the way and stood back to his feet in a flash. With a quick motion with his hand, an invisible force would shoot out and attempt to paralyze the warrior. Whether if it was successful or not, the barbaric saiyan would keep his hand facing the back of the man and fire off two blasts of pure energy toward him. Rik's attacks were far too sloppy; his father would have had him beaten for being too eager. He followed through far too much as the saiyin rolled away from the strike he had leveled at his knee. He left himself open to the man's counter attack... which seared into him though he couldn't see the actual attack. He felt a disruptive energy enter his body and clenched his teeth as he felt a brief but intense pain in his gut... ERR_R _NKN_WN E_ERGY DISRUPTING N__MAL FU_CTION Foreign Energy Det_c_ed Energy regulation protocol initiated.
Rik gritted his teeth and faced back up to the larger warrior as he launched two more bolts of energy towards him. It was definitely time to take this seriously - this man was a skilled warrior and would defeat him if he was not able to bring his own attacks to bear. He charged towards the man and flicked his sword once, twice to deflect each attack. He leaped into the air and launched a spinning kick at the large warriors face with brutal power. As he landed he whirled his blade around once more and picked a new target... his sword flicked out like a serpent's tongue towards Zukkah's right elbow as he called out, "KAI-YAH!", probing his defenses again and looking to create more openings. { } DEFENSE PHASE. Zukkah was surprised to see the energy blast being slashed away once more, causing the saiyan to drop his guard for a split second. With Riku coming at him with a fierce kick to the face, Zukkah had to throw his arms up quickly in order to absorb the impact, leaving him open for another attack. As the katana sliced toward the elbow of the saiyan, Zukkah attempted to move out of the way, but the blade sliced the skin wide open upon the edge of his elbow. " Ah! Damnit!" He called out in pain, but he remained focused on the man in front of him. " Heh, you're much faster than I anticipated. You will be a perfect sparring partner. " He announced to the Android with a smile forming upon his lips. The barbaric saiyan knew that this would indeed be a great fight, so he got back into a battle stance and grinned. In a flash, the saiyan threw his arms up and fired off two more blasts of ki to make sure Riku would keep his distance. Rik reset into his defensive posture after managing to score a solid hit with his blade on Zukkah's elbow. As he suspected, the man handled it like a true warrior and shook the pain off and reset himself, ready to counter attack. Once again, his opponent charged up hist fists to launch energy bolts at him but this time, Rik did not wait. He darted to the side, batting the first bolt of energy aside and completely avoiding the second by just not being where he had been. He darted in and sent a slash on the upwards diagonal that would connect solidly with Zukkah's ribs if it connected. Following this attack, Rik would step back and assess his opponent, saying, "You are a warrior, I can tell already. Perhaps after this we can go and get a drink. Tell war stories." He nodded with respect before taking a step forward and spinning to his left, bringing his blade down in a left to right slash at his opponent's knees. Zukkah watched his two blasts soar directly toward Riku, but it seemed that the swordsman was prepared for the same attack once again, by swinging the katana to deflect the first blast, then he quickly moved out of the way of the second one. " Grrr!! Son of a saiyan scumball!" He called out in anger because his attacks were unable to connect to his opponent. Zukkah had to come up with a plan, but Riku had already rushed in once more with the sharp blade twisting in the wind, as the man ran forward to attack the saiyan. Zukkah watched every step and movement the man made, then as he closed in to slice away at the cheat of the warrior, he swiftly took a step back just in time, because the blade sliced through the black vest that the saiyan was wearing as protection. " Shit, that was close!" He said, as he watch Riku take a step back to speak himself. " A drink? Hell yeah! Keep this up and there won't be much of a fight left." He announced to the Android with a smirk, then got caught off guard with the rapid movement of the blade, which sliced into the left knee of Zukkah. His leg was bleeding along with his elbow, but the saiyan looked up to Riku and couldn't help but laugh. " Nothing the alcohol won't heal." He chuckled, then rushed forward himself in an attempt to throw a quick jab to the jaw, followed by a massive right hook to the Android's eye. Rik managed to sneak his second attack through Zukkah's defense once more, scoring a solid blow to the warrior's knee. He came back to a guard position in a form called Leopard in the Tree and studied his foe; it did look like he might have lost a step with that last blow. He had better try to press his advantage while he could... While he considered his next move the brash saiyan almost took him by surprise by switching to a purely physical attack. He easily swayed out of the way of the leading jab but quickly discerned that the heavier punch following it was going to connect with unfavorable results. Releasing his blade with his left hand, he threw his forearm up and into Zukkah's wrist, managing to guide the punch from completing its course into his face. Rik pressed his advantage, cutting loose with a quick series of light slashes aimed to open cuts into Zukkah's torso without being fatal. Rik shifted the grip on his blade and started circling the large saiyan, looking for another opening... Scanning opponent.... Opponent favoring left knee. Recommend attack from this vector.Yeah, no shit. He thought sourly. He didn't need a computer to hold his hand like this... maybe he could tweak the settings later. Or more likely find someone to do it. Either way, now was not the time for this internal monologue. Zukkah was unsure what to make of this Android, he just knew that it was nearly impossible to land a single blow on him. With both punches evaded with such ease, Zukkah took a step back and kept his eyes upon Riku. With the katana already ripping through the flesh of Zukkah's elbow and knee, the saiyan had to try and keep away from the blade in order to even have a chance at winning this spar. As Riku swiped the blade back and forth toward the torso of Zukkah, he wasn't able to move out of the way fast enough, causing the black vest to be shredded up along with sections of his chest. The pain was immense, but Zukkah was doing his best to push through it and keep fighting like a true saiyan would. Riku began to circle the saiyan warrior with the blade gripped tightly within his hands, looking for the right opening to attack Zukkah. With the saiyan turning slowly because of the wound to his knee, he was met with the katana against his shoulder, tearing through the skin, blood pouring down his arms and staining the gray bracers red that were upon the saiyan's wrist. " Gaaaahhh! Shit! I...don't know...anymore.." He muttered to himself, as the blood wouldn't stop coming out from the shoulder wound, so he raised his hand and conjured up just enough ki, then placed it upon the wound. " AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!" He screamed out in pain, as the ki was burning the wound shut, stopping the saiyan from bleeding out and dying on the Android. The pain was enough to drop the saiyan to a single knee, but he looked up to the Android as he was breathing heavily and grinned wide. " I'm not giving up just yet. You've proven to be much stronger, but I still have some fight left in me!" He called out, then stood from his feet and slowly began to walk up toward the Android. As Zukkah neared his opponent, he dashed forward and attempted to knee the being in the gut, followed by a quick spinning heel kick toward the face of Riku. Riku's blade once again struck true and he came back to a waiting position. He was satisfied with his performance so far in this battle; he had started rough but had begun to find his rhythm as the battle progressed. He was.. .relieved that his skills had transitioned to this time and were still viable. He had worried that warriors might have surpassed what knowledge he had fought so hard to earn; but battle was battle. Though some of the techniques might have changed the basic principle remained the same. He relaxed slightly as the saiyan went down to one knee; he wasn't sure if the man meant to continue or not but he proclaimed his willingness to continue the fight and charged in more quickly than he had moved the entire fight. The big man's Knee caught him in the stomach and ripped the breath from his lungs... if his body hadn't been partially protected by metal his ribs would have likely have splintered. Danger! Potential damage to chassis detected. Recommend initiation of defensive protocolsRik staggered back, lungs trying to suck in precious air and not succeeding; not to mention his damned HUD spouting the obvious once more. He blinked quickly to clear his eyes and saw Zukkah spinning around to and launching a kick towards his face. He quickly threw his hands up in a defensive posture and let the kick slam into his guard, staggering back a couple of steps and eyeing the saiyin a little more seriously now. He turned his head slightly, keeping his eyes on his opponent the whole time and spit a bit of blood from his mouth before saying, "Well struck, that will probably hinder me tomorrow."It was his turn now. He stalked forward and feinted a slash with his sword before launching a forward kick at the big man's chin. He spun as he recovered from his kick and quickly spun, bringing the flat of his blade whipping towards the saiyin's temple; he didn't want to kill him after all but knocking him out might be for the best. As the saiyan's fist connected against the hard metal of Riku's body, his entire hand began to thump from the pain, in which the saiyan had never felt before because this was his first time fighting against someone other than a saiyan. When Zukkah took a step back and realized that there was no real chance of him making a comeback, but he was not going to give up and wanted to keep proving to the Android that he was a worthy opponent. " You have earned my respect, Riku. Now bring it on." He said in a firm tone, with his lips forming a slight smile upon his face. It was then, when Riku used his sword to feint an attack, then swing around to bust the saiyan in the face! Zukkah threw his left arm up to block the attack, absorbing some of the impact, then swiftly rushed with the flat of Riku's blade toward his temple. It connected hard, causing the saiyan to stumble back only a few feet, while rubbing the side of his head. " Next time, make sure to use enough force to knock me out, because that hurt like hell!" He called out to the Android. Zukkah shook off the pain and rushed in to keep this battle going until he was either completely drained of energy or knocked out from how well Riku has been landing his attacks. Whatever it was, Zukkah had a feeling that he may get lucky again, so as he closed to distance between himself and Riku, he rolled to the side of the Android, then attempted to kick his feet out from under himself. If that were to work, the saiyan would jump to his feet and drop down with a massive elbow to the chest of Riku. Word Count: 307 Total Word Count: 2,092 {Battle Actions!}
