After spending two years living on Zen Estate raising Quintuplets, Juniper’s cousin Verna, frequently visited to play with the children. All the while, the mother of five demon children, she thought her cousin was just curious. However, she found herself tied to the young girl, when she was traveling via speedboat from the Western Lands to Central lands. To her surprise she found her cousin below deck, when she was retrieving a map, since the GPS was undergoing interference of some kind.
“Verna-chan.” Juniper nearly stumbled as her cousin hugged her tightly, “Your family must be worried by now. Hachi can take you back home, so don’t worry.”
In the middle of the ocean, a floating crate knocked into the side of the speed boat was it was simply floating, when Hachi hovered over to look he was instantly attacked by a swarm of fuzzy golden long necked chicks, each one had attempted to peck at his tentacles. In a panic, the dumbo octopus squirt ink in retaliation, and immediately returned to the side of his companions.
“Oh, dear.” Juniper freed herself from her cousin, summoning a large paint brush to wipe the baby chicks with her brush, soaking up the ink. However, the chicks were famished and were trying to eat the brush bristles. Juniper flared up her power level to startle the chicks from eating her dragon ball shard artifact and smiled when they obediently released the bristles. Using the blunt end of the brush, she moved the giant crate across the ocean, and lured it to the back of the boat to secure it with some rope.
“Where are your owners?” Juniper peered inside the crate expecting an answer.

Really, just what sort of fool did they take him for?
This was simply humiliating. With the vast problems in the world, Sho believed he would be assigned to stop a bandit problem or investigate a murder case. Instead, his infinite talents were relegated to...
"Chickens. I, Shou Taimu, an expert swordsman with an IQ of over 150, is being assigned to look for chickens." There was nothing but absolute contempt and disgust in his gaze as his soul piercing stare lands directly on his sorry excuse for a superior, Mu. The man represented everything about the world that Shou despised; a lazy, morbidly obese slob who only managed to get this far in life because of blatant nepotism, rather than deserving his position in the slightest. To top it all off, this bastard was -actually- stronger than Shou, but he knew it wouldn't be that way for too long.
"Mm..." The pitiful excuse of an officer finishes his tenth burger in a hour before finally addressing Shou, an assortment of condiments on his uniform and face...and it seemed as though the pig didn't have the slightest intentions of cleaning it off. "Yeah, sorry, Shou. You know you're my favorite Junior, but...we'd rather you have some field experience before you take on the big jobs first, haha!" That mocking laugh. The condescending nature. From the very first day he met this repulsive excuse of a human being, Shou vowed to strike him down with his own blade. "What a joke..."
And thus, that was how Shou landed in his current situation today. Somewhere between the Western Lands and Central Islands, he was busy operating a government owned boat they were generous to let him use for today's mission since he lacked the ability of flight. "Seriously. Who the HELL leaves this many crates lying around in the middle of the damn ocean!? This planet is filled to the -brim- with so many incompetent idiots..." It was exasperating, really, but on the bright side, the chirps of chicken from within alerts him to the fact that these were his targets. He begins the quite tedious process of collecting the chickens on his boat, when, not too far in the distance he spots another boat doing the exact same thing...though, it didn't seem to be carrying any government insignia of any kind. It was enough to arouse his suspicion, and thus, he drives his boat closer to the unknown one, standing atop it and flashing his badge.
"Halt! This is Shou Taimu of the World Government, and I've been assigned a duty to collect those crates. What are you doing with them?" For now, he wasn't immediately hostile, but given his cranky mood, he would prefer answers sooner rather than later. At the very least, the woman aboard the speedboat wasn't the ugliest person in the world.

With the five children they had inevitably spawned in the course of two short years now old enough to be taken care of by their grandmothers and the workers of the White Cat and Dandelion Clans, that is to say – taken care of by Koma's grand mother and largely ignored by either of Natsuki of the Tea Clan, Juniper's mother. Someone who Koma had in only a few weeks prior headbutted when she was visiting the Zen Teahouse.
The last samurai of the Bear Clan could still hear the ranting shouts of the fairy who was the accountant, maid, and head of household staff for him, Shortbread. How it wasn't princely or regal to do so, and how not even Ma-te had done such a thing. How the chuckle brought forth from Pine Tea at that incident did not make it okay.
Even before he had been recognized as the heir to the White Cat Clan and the responsibilities of Yajirobe to the Pig Demon Duchies, Koma had spent much of his life fighting with two sides of himself. That primal warrior which so many Saiyans indulged in was sharply caged within the half-saiyan's persona when it came to things, disciple, meditation, and practicing of the martial arts regularly were the cage to the grand beast which raged inside of every Saiyan born person, and as he had come to know Yajirobe, the man who was his grandfather and one of the founding grand-dukes of the entire realm? He began to realize that anger and passion was not entirely of one side of him.
The Grand Duke and his princely grandson were more alike than many cared to believe or admit, and some within the White Cat Court expressed surprise that it had taken so long to realize that this hobo Samurai was who he was. Yajirobe had once been a man who walked the waves as well, had he not?
Koma was no ronin, but had practiced his sky dance art more and more until he had awoken the ability to simply fly through the air by power of his ki alone. He had also promised Juniper a trip around the world together when their children were old enough to allow it, and so he had packed his bags, stowed them in the boat which she was planning to use, and flew ahead to make sure their accommodations on the first leg of the trip were prepared.
He had already flown to the small island resort which they were staying at for the first few days while they planned the next leg of the trip, and he had already confirmed their registration and paid their stay in full. Then he had chose to fly back and forth from the island and the Inner Bay port which Juniper would likely be sailing out of, running over watch in case of some pirates and also just testing his flight speeds. On the third lap he had been fired at by a suspect looking cargo freighter which had turrets built upon it. When they fired at him the third time he did what the reasonable type of person would do. He boarded the ship, beat it's crew, and when he found out that it wasn't a world government licensed vessel and that these ostrich chickens were not its own and it had no actual legitimate papers for transport, the Samurai assumed these were smugglers, pirates, rustlers, or all three. So he solved the situation by putting the chick in their crates in the ship's life boat then sinking the ship.
When he went on patrol again it happened again, and again and again. Four times he ran into pirates and rustlers doing this, and only on the fourth time did he find the ship they had stolen them from. The SS Turkey Island, he had begun returning chick's to it only to find himself in this situation.
He found Juniper finally here with the boat, but he also found someone trying to load up the crates he had yet to carry back to the ship. Someone who had the gall to insult Juniper with that tone, and with that terminology. Some fool who claimed that he was working for the World Government, despite the fact the SS Turkey Island had said that it and its sister ships, which had been entirely taken and their crews evacuated, the Cranburry Jam and the Mashed Potato, were ships that had been going in this path as well. If this guy was really World Government, why wasn't he doing his job? If he was really world government did he not see the official mons of the Dandelion Clan, the White Cat Clan, and the Tea Clan, as well as the Flag of the Pig Demon Duchies itself from Juniper's speed boat?
Perhaps it was a con, perhaps it was not. Either way, no one talked to his wife like that. Without announcing his presence, while still floating in the sky, Koma unsheathed Henjiken and gave the young government worker an answer. The artifact grade katana sizzled with his spiritual energy as he focused it into it, and then he drew the sword from its sheath, a perfect iajutsu draw, but this one effectively throwing an arc of energy like that of an energy blast with the movements of a lacrosse toss or a Hurley bat.
The water would likely explode sizably beside the government boat, and when it did, Koma would let go of the suppression upon his power level, suddenly jumping to nearly thirty thousand.
“If you're with the World Government, what branch? Where's your badge? Did they really send just one guy to stop the pirates which are plaguing the area?” it was all very suspect. Who in the world government couldn't recognize the flags and badges of the nations of the world? “I won't ask twice.”

Cabin carefully balanced on the prow of the small fishing boat, quite enjoying the cool sea spray that the breeze carried. Sweat poured down his entire body, a long day of hauling nets and setting them. He wasn't much for an honest day's work, but he learned a long time ago that sometimes one had to do things they didn't like to survive. While he was so far away from his village he had no support from his people. He was on his own at the moment and he couldn't afford to be picky with how he got a meal. Besides, he was starting to enjoy the captain's company. He was a simple man with a weathered face that told stories of many years. He didn't say much, something Cabin very much enjoyed, and when he did, it was important. He opened his eyes to survey the sea and to his surprise, he spotted a wooden crate bobbing in the waves. He placed two fingers in his mouth and gave a sharp whistle, waving a hand above his head and pointing out the crate to the captain and rest of the crew. With haste, they dropped a spare net into the ocean and the captain carefully maneuvered the ship along side the crate, allowing his crew to more easily and stabling retrieve it from the churning sea. Any find like this could be valuable and fragile, and it wasn't much of a payoff to bring aboard a box full of shattered glass and no wine. With a great heave, the crate was pulled onto the ship, and the puzzled crew shouted to the captain about the box making noises. "Quit lollygaggin' then an' pry it open!" the captain howled, shaking a fist at the crew. A loud creak and the clatter of the lid revealed it's cargo; a pile of peeping Ostrich-Chicken chicks. Cabin smiled, it was quite a prize. Maybe not some rare, expensive delicacy, but it was food nonetheless. He kept his eyes peeled on the horizon, stopping one box then another and another. Soon there were at least half a dozen crates full of hungry chicks and the captain was beginning to get frustrated, "What kinda monster is leavin' these poor li'l chicks out here?" he demanded to no one in particular. "Captain! Ships on the horizon!" They flew flags he couldn't recognize and seemed to be coming closer together, crates filling the ocean around them. Were they the ones losing crates? Or perhaps lucky scavengers like themselves. Suddenly there was a blast of ki across the water and a burst of energy from one of the boats, and with panic rising in his throat Cabin gave three sharp whistles and slide down the prow of the ship. The crew rushed about the ship, preparing what little weaponry a fishing boat like this had, struggling against the ship itself as the captain spun the wheel with all his might. The ship groaned and creaked under the stress, but the rudder held fast and she began to turn. The captain screamed something over the commotion that was hard to make out but Cabin knew what he meant. With haste he pulled himself up the netting, then the mast and into the crow's nest, taking a pair of binoculars to survey. He picked up a small radio in the nest, leaning over the nest to wave at the Captain just as he had finished hoisting a house flag to recognize their ship as a fishing vessel belonging to the Southern Islands. The Captain noticed him and picked up a small receiver near the wheel, "It looks like... World Government? And Demon Duchies? Captain, I don't know what's going on down there." The Captain nodded and gave him a quick handsign, to which Cabin picked up a small book and began flipping through it. He found his page and began tapping a button situated under a heavy-duty light, used for sending signals and messages to other boats. Cabin had some knowledge in it, the hidden village patrols would use it occasionally on nights with thick fog to communicate, but even among his people it was an outdated and archaic system. He tapped out a quick message: Friendly ... Fishing ... Trouble? ... Assistance needed? ... Now hopefully someone else on one of those ships could read such an old code, and that if there was trouble, they didn't decide to fire upon them too.

There was no correlation between the World Government and the Pig Demon Duchies. While they were not enemies, the Duchies were neutral, focusing on the Western lands as their own independent territory, Juniper was stunned that she was being questioned despite the flags and kamon on the boat she was in. The Dandelion Princess was standing in a small speed boat, she managed to find one crate full of chicks, and she would never dare to put livestock inside a DynoCapsule, only someone who wanted to kill the newly hatched baby birds would do something like that, and before she could answer Koma flew in from the clouds demanding answers as well. In the distance she noticed a fishing vessel, which was obvious by the equipment, and the Fishing Association emblem on the flag at the top of the mast, it seemed they encountered a crate full of chicks as well. The person in the crow’s nest was signaling a message, she figured their radio must have been broken, since most ships were on the same channel to avoid collisions out at sea, and she understood the gist by responding with an orb of ki in her palm. Frustration was evident in the glint of his eyes. Shou hadn't necessarily been asking who they were actually aligned with given how obvious it was from the ship but rather what they were up too. He didn't think it was an absurd question, and to his credit, he'd been much nicer in spite of the ridiculous task assigned to him. Apparently, that wasn't enough for these people, though. No, instead this officer had to be subjected to what he could only perceive as the showboating antics of the person known as Koma, and how he could do absolutely nothing because of the immense power gap between them. He closes his eyes, silently processing the situation in his mind, masking the utter rage and fury he felt deep within his soul. Lashing out would cause him to gain absolutely nothing, and if he waited like the patient man he was, the rewards would be endless. He takes a deep breath, calmly answering Koma's question in spite of himself.
This world truly needed a cure, and he was the vaccine.
"I am Shou Taimu. My Identification Number is 91234051, which includes my branch and everything you need to know about me. And my badge-" He gestures down to his shirt, where it was neatly pinned for anyone to see. "Is right here. I apologize if I angered you- I was only assigned to this area to rescue some chickens, you see, and was simply making sure they got back to there right owner. I won't bother you any further." It was best, he figured, to end the conversation as quickly and sufficiently as possible. He was a man that hated almost every single person that could ever exist, and was far from a social person unless it had the chance to benefit himself immensely. Perhaps they were after the same goal here, and perhaps they weren't. Shou didn't care too much, besides making sure to keep this man's face in mind for the future; a future where he wouldn't back down so easily, and could actually enforce fear and respect into other people.
Reclusive and antisocial as ever, he goes to slink back into the water, making sure to keep those chicken crates as neatly on to his craptastic boat as possible. Truth be told, he -did- get that message from Cabin, but never really bothered to acknowledge, to focused on making sure this mission was complete and he could get his paycheck from the government.
A trained murderer was being put to do this?
Absolutely disgraceful.

Perhaps Koma could not read minds, but after having spent decades in the profession of a warrior, mercenary, soldier and samurai the descendant of the Grand Duke Yajirobe could definitely read body language. From the actions of his wife, Juniper, the half-saiyan Samurai could tell they had gotten a message which was a short range broadcast. He had no idea what it was, but if it wasn't vocal radio and was short range, it must be something like morse; an archaic code.
His primary focus remained on this supposed officer of the world government. The slate gray eyes of the half-Saiyan didn't move from him as he spoke, the warrior trained in courtly arts keeping track of every so much as twitch on the man's face as he spoke. He wasn't sure what about this man was lying, but something about him was clearly not telling the whole truth. People didn't carry themselves that way if they were telling the truth and not acting out, and it was clear in the way he carried himself he resented something too.
“Rescue them from whom exactly, Mister Taimu?” there were holes big enough in the plausibility of things to drive a whole freighter into. “If the government sent you to deal with the apparent issues of this shipping route... where's the rest of the defense force?”
He didn't say 'no offense', either. Because Koma didn't hide behind shields of frail, unmeant words. If this guy took offense oh well.
“Juniper, what did that message say?” he questioned his wife, using her full name because there was no reason to allow a stranger access to his marriage's secrets by knowing what Koma or others that were Juniper's love ones called her.

Cabin sighed and crossed his arms after translating the return message. He flipped through the code book again and tapped off an affirmative before descending down the mast and returning to the Captain's side. "It looks like they're looking for those crates, Captain. Shall them across?" The Captain grumbled a response to Cabin and turned to his crew to shout orders. Cabin sighed again and dutifully began collecting the crates and moving them to a small shoreboat. Setting the lid on one of the crates, he had the idea; No one would miss a single egg, would they? He thought for a moment, it could make a wonderful breakfast once he got off this infernal ocean vessel. With only the moment of hesitation, he reached inside and plucked an egg, making some excuse as to a missing weapon he needed to retrieve, "Surely, Captain, if it should go south, I should be armed, right?" The Captain couldn't, or just wouldn't, argue with his logic, and waved Cabin away, who quickly descended into the ship's belly to stash the egg at his cot. He did grab a small bootknife(just in case) as well, then jogged back up to the deck and entered the shoreboat. Each row came with a grunt but he made it to the Pig Duchy ship with no issues. Waving to the crew on that ship, he shouted up to them, "Ahoy! I've got your crates, as requested! Would you mind helping me aboard?"

“Permission to board, granted.” Juniper smiled at Cabin. “I am Juniper Dandelion Tea and this is my husband Koma Dandelion of the Bear Clan and White Cat Clan.”
Four ships were now in close proximity after a few minutes of gathering the crates full of chicks, while Cabin boarded the Dandelion speed boat, there was not enough for the crates but tugging them along behind it with rope was all they could do, before they all drifted away into the open sea into danger. Once they were all gathered there was ten crates, Juniper used her psychic powers to remove all the lids off, they chicks were extremely hungry, and she could understand what they were feeling.
“Hachi, please gather some krill to feed the chicks with.” The Dandelion Princess handed him a capsule, with a capture net inside. The black floating octopus nodded, hovering across the sea to a flock of seagulls, shooting ink at the birds who were gathering near a whale eating krill.
The Dynocapsule was clicked then dropped into the ocean which burst into a cloud, the krill were secured in the fine mesh net, then the octopus picked up the net with impressive strength, the netted catch was at least a hundred times larger than the creature. It hovered all the crates, the ones tugged with the speed boat, the government ship, and as well as the ship which held the original cargo before its shipment was stolen by pirates. Millions of krill were dropped into each crate, feeding the starving chicks, and then Hachi returned to its companion’s side.
“The chicks are safe and fed, now. Good work everyone.” [274] [3,880/4,000] Shou Cabin Koma

Cabin saluted the captain of the other ship, and responded to her introduction with his own; "Greetings, I am Cabin, of the Saiyans.." He helped to load and tie off the remaining crates, and was taken aback when the girl seemed to lift the lids of the crates using just her thoughts "Wow, that's quite the feat. How did you.. No matter, I should think a technique like that is a well-guarded secret." He made a mental note to practice it himself. If he could manipulate his ki outwardly, surely he could achieve a similar effect? The next shock was a small octopus-like creature that floated in the air above them. It even spoke! What sort of madness were the Earthlings involved with? He watched as the being floated above the ocean and hauled back a net full of krill that Cabin himself might even struggle to pull. He felt his mouth hang agape at the strangeness of the situation, looking over to the other two boats to make sure all seemed calm. "Will they be alright? Should I clear out in case of an altercation?" After a round of congratulations, Cabin returned his small boat and then the larger fishing vessel. Those chicks had been voracious eaters, much like himself, and he wondered about the egg stashed in his bunk. Would it be a good breakfast, or perhaps it better to let it hatch and see what sort of monster he can tame? With a final wave to the small speed boat from the deck of the fishing vessel, he returned to his post and the ragged-looking vessel set sail for the ports of West City once more.
