Bam! Bam! Jade got two good hits to Quill's face, and she backed away from Jade, touching her now swollen cheek.
"How dare you mess up my beautiful face, I didn't do anything to you."
"Sorry about your face but, that's where you're wrong. You knocked over my bowl of noodles a few weeks ago. I was hungry.. "
"Whatever, I told you to leave, but you didn't listen."
"Is that so.."
Jade's face became even angrier than before, and instead of charging at her, she walked towards her slowly. Once she was in front of Quill, she stared in her eyes for a few seconds, before she used her tail to hold her by the neck. Basically what she did to that man.
"What are you doing?! Are you trying to kill me?!"
Jade didn't answer, but instead looked away, observing Hachi and Juniper holding the others off. The most frustrating thing was, Quill ended up biting Jade on her tail, and now she was in a lot of pain. Quill wasted no time, striking Jade in the back, but as she was about to strike her a second time, Jade quickly crouched, in order to dodge it. Using her tail, she twirled it around her legs, and dragged them, so that she would fall to the ground. It was at this point that Jade realized.. the room was empty and the police were there. The pinkette got up, brushed herself off, and acknowledged the police's presence with a smile. Once Juniper approached her and informed her about that underground tunnel, Jade said
"Mmph. I knew that there was some sort of hideout in the area. Let's go. Let's not waste anymore time."
The pinkette accompanied Juniper into the tunnel. As she went further into the darkness, her pupils widened, adjusting to the darkness.. because she's partially a feline. There was water dripping from above, and it made Jade slightly irritated, especially since she got into that confrontation with Quill. Her tail was still aching. Jade wasn't exactly sure of where to go, so she pretty much followed Juniper. Well, it was pretty obvious where to go, once she got to that hatch. As she went up the flight of stairs, she felt two ki signatures above. It wasn't exactly strong, but Jade knew that even if she had to take on both of them, she might not last for a long time.
"What is all this?"
She said, in a confused tone. Once Juniper ordered them to stop, they chuckled and went up the flight of stairs, that led them to ground level.
"Oh.. no. Again? Well.. it's not like I'd get bored doing it.. but.. why won't they just listen and stop stealing the kitchen equipment?"
That was a question Jade couldn't answer. There were over 50 gang members in front of them, and.. at this point, the only thing that was left to do was to teach these people a lesson.
"Juniper.. my tail. It got injured in my previous fight with Quill. Could you heal it for me?"
She said, with a slight frown visible on her features.
"Ok, you know why we're here. Give them up."
They didn't even answer. Well.. it was time to stop this foolishness. Two of the gang members walked towards her, telling her to leave and if she didn't, they would make her.
"Like I'd do that. Juniper, you know what to do."
The two guys aimed their fist at her stomach but they were pretty slow, so Jade managed to grab their fists just in time. Immediately, her jade green aura flared up around her, and the two took one step backwards, assuming a defensive stance, while the others took three steps backwards. She didn't want to hurt them, but instead intimidate them. At this point, the only way she would hurt these people, is unless they retaliate, or refuse to listen, and at this point, it doesn't seem as if they were going to listen.
"I don't think I'll be able to hold them off all alone. Get Fenrir's attention, now!"
She said to Juniper. Hopefully he heard when Juniper tried to get his attention.. because of he didn't.. this fight would surely be a hard one.

"You're a cocky bastard, aren't you?" The thug growled as he dusted himself off, the two men somewhat circling as they stood in the street.
"Hm, I am, yes. Are you going to correct me?" The tall light blue haired man questioned with a growing grin on his face as he slid into a stance. His body simply slid into the stance, as if he were at ease, despite the fact that the thug's gang members were surrounding them, though they appeared to be keeping a safe distance. Either they were doing it to show they were willing to show good sportsmanship, not getting involved and rather trying to keep the two corralled within that space, or they were going to swoop in as soon as their friend was brought down. Fenrir could not help but imagine that it was the latter.
But it did not matter. He was going to deal with them, whether it was one on one or if he had to take on all ten men.
"Well, come on, I don't have all day. I could be hitting on some really cute girls rather than stand here looking at you." Fenrir commented.
"I'm going to kill you." The thug growled and he charged in.
Oh, this was going to be quick, and rather boring. Fenrir watched the man charge forward, full speed; it was what most people would call a suicide rush. He wasn't going to feint, he was charging straight ahead, fists looking ready to throw a punch.
Fenrir, for his part, did not move. He did not budge.
"You cocky son of a bitch!" The man appeared to hit the brakes just as he neared the tall light blue haired man as he cocked his arm back. His bicep visibly flexing as he added a great deal of force to his incoming punch as he swung his fist.
Now was when Fenrir decided to move. But he did not dodge. Why would he bother? No. He rather moved forward, toward the attack. And he cocked his head back; not to dodge or duck but to then swing his head forward as he thrust his forehead into the path of the attack. Or more like, Fenrir headbutted the man's incoming fist, slamming his forehead into the clenched fist as he grinned at the man, his eyes wild with excitement and energy; his lips curled back in a broad grin that showed off his elongated canines.
The thug cried out in pain, the audible sound of cracking bones filled the air around them. Every man in the area heard it. But for a half second, they thought that perhaps their friend had hit Fenrir so hard on the forehead that he cracked his head open. But, that was not the case, not even remotely the case.
The thug's wrist was broken, the skin bulged in a way that revealed that the tall man had managed to break the wrist and the whimpering gang member staggered back, grabbing his arm, "What? How the hell did you do that?" He cursed, his eyes watering as he held his arm.
"Simple, really," Fenrir stood up straight as he rubbed his chin, "The forehead is one of the hardest parts of the skull. I used your momentum against you. It also helps me that when you threw that punch, you hadn't fully clenched your fist; people rarely do, it's a common mistake, not clenching your fist fully until they're just about to hit their target. This leaves their wrist vulnurable, and as you can see, I capitalized on it. You should go see a doctor or that won't set right." He motioned the man to leave. "And you can take your little friends with you; that is unless, of course, they wish to fight me?"
He heard a voice then; it was Juni. She had, apparently, found her way to him, or at least she was somewhere nearby. He could feel her energy but he could also hear her voice; she could be heard from a nearby establishment and he peered over in that direction just as Hachi hovered over to his side.
"Oh? You decided to join me, Hachi?" He spoke almost sweetly to the little floating octopus, watching it flex as he grinned even wider, "Oh? Nice flex there. Look, they're already getting nervous." He motioned to the gang members who were staring, confused at the octopus but also mildly uneasy at the tall man who managed to break one of their gang member's wrists with just a simple headbutt. "Oh, now that Hachi is here, I'm sure I'll be fine." Fenrir called out, so he could be heard by Juni as he popped his knuckles then turned his attention to the group of men before him again, "So, which one of you wishes to volunteer this time?"

Post by Misaki Kazamiya on Mar 4, 2020 6:20:26 GMT -8
Misaki hummed, as she moved to join up with Fenrir and... She assumed Toma. he had to be done by now, right? He was the leader, after all, so she figured he must be more effective than Misaki was.
The crowded streets and constant honking annoyed Misaki just a little more today, as she tried to navigate the city streets. subtly moving so that she could avoid colliding with other people and navigating with no grounding was a profoundly frustrating experience for Misaki even at the best of times. the din of confused voices dissonantly whispering amongst eachother and making an invisible wall of white noise, cutting off her perception...
Plants really were much simpler to be around than people, Misaki reflected.
Today, with an urgent mission to make up for her gorilla-induced destruction, the extra delay was even more unpleasant than usual, and Misaki groaned as she kept walking. Her humming was being maintained not due to her usual happiness, but as a way to keep her own inner peace in this rush hour, and give her some semblance of concentration to her surroundings.
Still, her senses were clearly getting past her, as an ambush appeared in her face, knife in hand. "Death to anyone who opposes-"
Misaki's hand came up quickly, grabbing the offending arm with her smile widening ever so slightly, and stopped the knife before it reached her forehead.
Several people screamed, stepping back, as the knife-wielding assailant tried to push the dagger forward, grunting as his hand shook, fingers starting to lose their grip around the knife as Misaki squeezed harder.
"You're being very rude." Misaki stated simply, before squeezing harder. the Criminal in question was weak... his knife fell from his hand as the sound of muscle tearing was replaced with the sickly popping and crunching of bone being crushed. "I'm not in a good mood right now. Please run to the nearest hospital and don't ever come see me again."
The Gardener's tone remained just as polite as ever, her face not even changing even as the man screamed, tears streaming down his face as the pressure built through his arm, the Limb utterly snapped as Misaki let it go.
Perhaps she'd been a little rude as well. Oh well.
Misaki placed both hands on her parasol, letting go of the man's now knifeless arm, before taking the weapon and throwing it into the nearest wall hard enough for it to shatter into a dozen pieces.
"-And I don't think you quite need a knife until you get the manners to use it properly, so I'll just confiscate that..."
"B-boss, you didn't tell me this would be what it would be like. you..."
Misaki's eyes widened slightly, as a brilliant jet of ki shot into her shoulder, The girl's eyes watering as an intense pain entered the limb.
"I also didn't tell you to whine about me. Now I gotta do this fast!" A hooded figure stated from down the street. he was wearing blue robes that covered his whole body - like some sort of street performer. Misaki assumed it was either to protect his identity, or that he just really liked blue.
The idea that it could've been both would have given Misaki a smile if not for the intense pain coursing through her shoulder, even as a pointed nail aimed for her knee and fired again. another incredibly fast bolt of Ki struck Misaki's knee, and the woman crumpled.
This time, at least, she saw it. Purple ki that started slow and accelerated as it shot through... pressurized ki? She didn't completely understand it.
"Still, you kept her focused enough on you that this was an easy capture. as for you..."
The robed figure spat.
"You didn't think these raids would just go off without a hitch, did'ja? Our intel is fabulous. I don't know what sort of spell you put on our boys, but you're not getting away with it against me." The hooded figure stated, spitting at the pavement as Misaki struggled up to one knee.
This was bad. She'd taken a bad hit to the knee, and she could tell she probably had at least sprained it with that attack.
"...Feeling the power of the Gristle gun, aren't ya?" The man asked with a chuckle. "...Never dealt with a magnetized ki attack before?"
And with that, the man looked towards the coughing Gardener with a grin, even as his lackey stumbled away. "th-th-that's what you get. bitch"
The hooded man's gaze changed, as his finger slowly changed targets to a now sheepish-looking employee.
"If you can't show a lady respect..."
A blast lanced through the pavement like a cutting laser, even as the terrified lackey ran away, causing the alleyway he attempted to duck into to explode.
"...You really weren't worth the hire."
Misaki grimaced at this display of power. She didn't know if she could beat this one as she was now. Apparently, he was tremendously strong...
But she'd never backed down from a challenge before.
So instead of laying there, she stood up, ignoring the chaos of the fleeing people in the streets, and charged up her familiar signature move, barely standing on one arm.
To her surprise, the other one just gave her a grin.
"...Well, looks like you've still got some ki left in you. I'll have to beat you thoroughly unconscious, then!"
Misaki grimaced, as the man put his hand up in the air with a grin, and a massive ball of violet energy charged up. this was dangerous in general... Even if she deflected a blast like this, it would do terrible damage to the surrounding buildings - and potentially, the people inside. Had this man no sense? She thought this was a gang of miscreants, not maniacs!
"...Fine." Misaki added, her own blast being charged... until she realized the collision might cause even more damage to the world around them. Then, what the heck was she going to do? If she fired off her solar axis as it was, she'd only tickle the...
Tickle...
Tickle!
Misaki grinned, Holding up her other hand as an idea came to mind.
"...I think this will be the first time I use this. Dual..."
The Hooded assassin grinned, as a ki blast the size of a small prius raised above his head. "You think that'll stop me? Atomic Grand slamw-"
Misaki grinned, and fired her second, pea-sized solar axis... directly for where she assumed the assailant's nose was, right underneath his cloak.
Luckily, a sudden, panicked 'Slaaa... haaaa..." Told her she'd struck right on target, and she put every ounce of energy into kicking off with her remaining leg.
"Ha-choo!" The Assassin finally yelled, and Misaki grinned from above as she realized her plan had worked. Her blast wasn't even enough to harm her opponent, but it was built to be irritating, and she'd blasted for his nose. It was a bit of a longshot at the end of the day, but she certainly knew she had problems on controlling her ki when she sneezed. One learns that quickly around flowers.
She was lucky enough to have timed it right, too, appearing right above her opponent's head before firing straight down into his energy ball. "...Solar axis!" She yelled, blasting twin golden beams into the violet blast... sending it right into it's owner with a small explosion that took out a nearby storefront.
Misaki smiled at the victory, even as she felt her stay up in the air rapidly change to a stay down, out of the air, and the graceful woman was not able to stick the landing this time as she thudded against the pavement, her shoulder and leg screaming in agony as the force went through them.
"...Hopefully, my group sees this before his does... Speaking of..."
Misaki turned to see her assailant, now the blue robes had been destroyed, and to her surprise...
Apparently one of the Devil's cooks was a namekian, after all. Or at least, happened to share the skin color and antennae...
This was getting interesting.

As the battle continued, Koma hit the pavement of the stone paved pedestrian street for a moment as he dodged under a thrown motorcycle from one of the Devil’s Cook gang members, and despite Koma’s drop the Saiyan-Human Hybrid Samurai didn’t miss a beat when it came to getting back up from the ground. From his positioning upon the flat of his back he rolled to hisright shoulder and pushed ki upon it and the right heel, before beginning to slam the heel into the ground and forcing himself to spin.
A few acrobatic jumps and twists later and another ten of the members of the Devil’s Cook Gang at this location were brought to the ground, not without Koma finished. “Scrap, Useless Scrap. This is what the ore proved to be. It challenged a hammer, and now a sword it never shall be.”
He challenged once again, nodding to Riku as he pushed out with his spiritual energy and attempted to see if any of the Devil’s Cook members who were still around actually were likely to be strong members who were hiding.
He pulled out his cell phone as he waited, sword in his left hand, phone in his right, and called Juniper to update her on his situation as scores of police, Yaro Clan Yakuza, Dumpling Hill Gang members, and others descended upon his location to make sure none of the lowest level thugs escaped and to make sure they all got captured and sent to jail.
“Juniper, is everything okay where you and the others are? Did anyone call you, or is everything going as planned so far?”

After the mildew smell of the tunnel dissipated, the scent of blood lingered before Jade could even ask, the mystic healer had become aware of the cut on the feline’s tail. However, being surrounded by so many thugs meant she barely had time to heal Jade before their assault. It meant that as soon as she attempted to heal her, she would most likely be assaulted in order to concentrate, and hitting certain pressure points on the thugs that closed in only kept them away temporarily. As the minutes escalated, she could tell Fenrir was being blocked from entering the industrial kitchen from the front of the restaurant, rather than explain herself, she jumped on top of a human wearing sunglasses, using his bald head as a step stool, and neared the service window. With a slender hand extended out she managed to ring the service bell, used by the chefs to alert waiters that the order was ready, perhaps then Fenrir would receive the message Hachi was unable to deliver to help her out in the kitchen. The tea princess rolled on the ground, avoiding a knife aimed at her, she broke a sweat as it was too close for comfort, despite her efforts combined with Jade pushing them back, they were cornered, their sheer numbers did not deter their morale. The mystic healer quickly tended Jade’s tail while the feline punched a few men and women in the gut to keep them back. A transparent glow centralized around the bristles of her paint brush and the ki fueled mystic spell was brushed on the pinkette’s tail restoring it entirely to it’s normal condition. Around ten of the devil’s cooks gang was subdued in that time, there were still forty left, and as cobalt blue eyes peered over to the back of the storage room beyond the kitchen, more of them were filing in. Juniper’s c-phone rang, she picked it up, and heard everything Koma had to say but rather than say anything back that would give away their efforts she sent her location then hung up. “ Alright Princess, we are taking you hostage, we can negotiate with the ducals to let us continue operating business as usual in Oolong City. After a saiyan thug cleanly took out the heir to the Tea Clan, it is time to take back what is rightfully ours, as only the strong lead and the weak follow.” Barbecue spoke up, some of what he said was picked up by the c-phone call with Koma before the line was cut. The death of Ma-Te was seen as a sign of weakness, even more so when an heir to replace him had not been established, because her family was still debating their options between choosing an elder or their youngest clan member. The Devil’s cookgang was playing a dangerous game, if Juniper was captured, she would become a game piece in their favor, and she was in no position to attempt escaping. Jade was strong, she would keep fighting until her last breath, and until Fenrir got the message they needed to push them back by combining their efforts. “ I got your back Jade, no matter what, if you have been holding back this time, just give them everything you got. I have to turn into Hachiko, now.” Juniper assured her as she began to transform, her skin turned grey, red tipped horns grew out her forehead as her hair turned platinum, and her size nearly doubled as she stood around nine feet tall almost reaching the ceiling. The kimono she was wearing loosened, revealing a swim top underneath that scaled with her larger womanly form, the sleeves dangled at her elbows while the hem reached her knees instead of her ankles. While she appeared demonically menacing, she was singled out in this form, but it was necessary to aid her allies by applying her mystic spells to multiple targets. “ You’re dead wrong if you think I am helpless enough to be captured. Just because saiyan trash preyed on my pig brother doesn’t mean I will allow you to mess around with the tea clan.” Hachiko raised the kitchen floor tiles by combining her psychic powers with a telekinetic grapple on three of the gangsters next to Barbecue. From behind Jade and Juniper, there were distinct footsteps of a young girl wearing Zori echoed from the tunnel until the five foot village girl known as Sakuya emerged from the mouth of the entrance with her signature bamboo muzzle. At first she seemed like an innocent lost girl, but her appearance changed as veins pulsated in her forehead and around her eyes while her manicured nails grew long like claws. It was clear that she was indeed only half human and half something demonic in nature as he started to let out an animalistic growl from behind the muzzle before she started picking off Barbecue's men in the room one-by one by utilizing punches and kicks to break arms and legs; finishing off the last few of her targets by snapping their necks, leaving only a handful of the criminals and Barbecue uninjured. "Mm!" Sakuya replied fiercely to Barbecue and his remaining men, intending to strike fear in their hearts; even though her strength paled in comparison to another's. Meanwhile, outside, Toma had taken the opportunity to suppress his power level in half to blend in and observe Fen from a distance. He wasn't disappointed, he was elated by Fenrir's efforts at flawlessly keeping the goons at bay. And those elongated canines...well, he wouldn't mind if that wolf decided to bite him in each other's company. No, he had to focus for now because Juniper was now about to be flanked. However, the corners of his lips did curl when he felt the presence of his retainer taking control of the situation inside of the restaurant. Perhaps he should remind them just who they were messing with, hm? Yes, he would do just that and forego his restraint as he released his full natural power level before throwing about eight Devil's Cookbook gang members into the air and crashing into the street walls. His power level was certainly strong enough to boldly announce his presence, even if it was reckless; but it was simply a move to call out their bluff and let them know that there was no escape. "Sorry for the late entrance, but I just had to see you in your natural environment without me being in the way. The headbutt was a very nice touch, I can tell we'll get along very well in a fight Wolfie." Toma said exuberantly like he was putting on a show like a ringmaster, and whispered the last word in Fenrir's ear with a sly grin and briefly took in Fen's scent. Yup, definitely wolf; even his name made it obvious. Toma just hoped that his theory of Fen being a Spirit in a vessel just like him was correct because they would have a lot to talk about over good food and Sake, if he was. Post by Fenrir on Mar 26, 2020 15:54:05 GMT -8
The men around him were glaring, shooting daggers at him with their eyes. Oh, they were pissed. Their faces were nuclear with rage and he could almost feel it. It sent shivers of pleasure racing through his body; almost like small bursts of electricity that raced over his nearly seven foot tall frame. Why? Well, he knew he was getting to them. The men around him had yet to come at him in a whole group, they were nervous; each one of them was scared, or at the very least apprehensive, about what this man could do, this man who towered over most of them by at least a foot in height and managed to just shatter the wrist of one of their members with a simple headbutt. What else could he do when he wasn't joking around? Because that is what he had been doing all this time. He had been toying with the whole lot of them. They could tell with how he walked, how he talked, how he carried himself; he moved with the ease of a predator, a wolf stalking his prey, staying back, keeping his distance, and taking his time. He was scenting them out, sizing them up, and seeing which one of the group could pose the biggest threat, not just to him but to every one of the people he had come with; for example, Juniper.
Which one of these pathetic street thugs could really pose a threat to the group? That was what he wanted to know and the thugs, in turn, wanted to know just how powerful this strange man in red leather actually was. Was he holding back? It was a possibility; a very big possibility since he had yet to be visibly active or go on the offense. Thus far, he's only been on the defense, retaliating against attacks thrown at him. But, what could he do if he suddenly changed his mind and went on the offense? How many of the crew could he bring down? That is what was holding them back, the uncertainty of it all.
"Hm? No one? Not a single one of you is going to volunteer? Not even you?" Fenrir said with a visible pout on his face as he motioned to the man who had spoken up earlier. He appeared to be hesitating. He had stepped up but now that he looked at his comrade's broken and now swollen wrist, he appeared to be not so eager to throw his hat in the ring.
"Tsk," the man clicked his tongue in anger and annoyance as if he had little choice in the matter as he rolled his eyes, "You're a tough guy, aren't ya? Standing there, talking your talk, but if we all rushed you," he began.
"Then you would all be beaten down in a group," Fenrir finished the man's sentence as he cracked his knuckles, "I've faced men far more prepared than you. You're not even a blip on the radar, but I will humor your existence for, oh, let me see," He checked his wrist as if he were checking a watch that he was not wearing, "I'll say three minutes. Send out your strongest and if he can survive for three minutes, I'll stand here and let him pummel me in the face for as long as he likes, however he likes, but if I bring him down to his knees," his voice grew almost cold, steely, "You all piss off, before I get really annoyed, that good?"
The man flinched at how suddenly Fenrir's voice became chilly; the voice of a man who, rather obviously, would not hesitate to snap more than just a wrist or two.
"I'll fight you," there was a voice that emanated from behind the group. It was a deep voice, almost a baritone and caused the tall wolf to peer over the shoulders of every one of the group, right over their heads, as one man stepped forward. He was not as tall as Fenrir, he was about a foot shorter, but with a thick muscular built body, he had a thick sinewy neck and a strong square jaw. The man had long hair, pulled back in a ponytail, a bandana was wrapped around his forehead, almost giving him the appearance of a pirate, and he had a scar across his partially exposed chest, "I want to punch that smug smirk right off your face," he confessed.
"Oh? Well, there we go, a brave volunteer. Now, tell me, what's your name? I'm sure you probably don't get asked a lot by people you're going to fight, but I always love to know the name of my opponent when I'm going to fight them; at least if they show promise, if they're interesting." He hadn't bothered to get the names of the other man who had fought him, the one whose wrist he had broken with that rather effective and powerful headbutt.
"The name's Gaston," The man stepped forward, cracking his knuckles as he grinned at the light blue haired wolf, "And your name?"
"Fenrir," He said with a bow of his head, not going for the full bow, though he did at least give him a polite tip of the head as he looked the man over, "Try not to bore me like your friend over there."
"Oh, don't worry; I won't bore you. However, I hope you can fight as well as you can talk," Gaston's muscles flexed as he got into a fighting stance. Something that his last fighter did not do.
This one had some level of training. His stance was not perfect but he had gotten into a fighting stance, so that was something he had over his comrade. So already this man was more interesting to Fenrir than the last; and certainly more interesting than the rest of the riffraff which stood around watching the two men.
Without really much pomp or circumstance, Fenrir got into stance. The two men were staring each other down, silent, as they sized each other up. Then they shot forward.
The first attack was thrown by Gaston; a potent swing from the left, which Fenrir managed to block before bringing a powerful strike of his own. This too was blocked, this time by Gaston as the two grinned; their smiles spreading across their faces as they swooped in close and their heads both reared back. Their foreheads collided with enough force that the burst of energy from the violent collision caused the ground beneath their feet to crack visibly and suddenly.
The force of the impact also caused the two men to be forced back and away from each other as they staggered back a bit, their smiles never leaving their faces as they regained their composure and stood upright.
"Oh? So you actually know what you're doing. You're not one to put on airs, you actually have some training then?"
Gaston rubbed his neck, popping his joints a bit, "Yes, I was trained even before I joined the gang; I assume you were as well. Your stance is better than mine. Your moves are calculated, and you never waste any energy on unnecessary frill. You would have made an excellent member of the group," Gaston commented, with praise that garnered whispering and muttering among the rest of his group, "You lot, shut up," Gaston growled over at them. This silenced the muttering immediately as he smirked at Fenrir, "You're interesting."
It was at that point that Fenrir took note of something; it was an energy signature he had felt before. It was different than everyone else's; yes, it wasn't like the thugs around him. Their energy signatures were basic, bland. He sensed humans, he sensed saiyans, and he sensed other people of other races in the group but this particular energy signature he detected - while not particularly high or potent - stood out to the light blue haired man. It was that of Toma; the well built man who had allowed him entrance to the meeting that, in turn, allowed him to join Juni and the others out here to deal with the thugs standing about. Yes, Toma was somewhere nearby. Though his power wasn't quite as strong as Fenrir had originally imagined him to be; was he suppressing his power? Could he do that? The wolf sniffed the air as if he were attempting to make sure that it was Toma; oh yes, there was that scent. He had picked up Toma's scent, due to having been standing directly next to him during the meeting, and there was no mistaking that it was him nearby.
Though, now that Fenrir managed to identify the source of that familiar energy, another question then came to mind; why wasn't Toma participating in their festivities? He had been at the meeting, he had heard everything that had been discussed, and he knew how disruptive, and even dangerous, the Devil's Cookbook gang was. So why was he nearby, standing there, watching, doing absolutely nothing?
Then it hit him. That's exactly what he was doing. He was watching, observing the fight.
"There's something equally as interesting nearby..." Fenrir spoke up, which mildly confused Gaston as he looked around them.
"Who are you talking about?" The muscular man almost sounded annoyed and he grit his teeth; this was his moment, he would not be upstaged by some nobody - and that's when Toma allowed his full energies to be released and his power to spike. He threw nearly a dozen men, well more like eight of them, through the air. They sailed through the air - like so many majestic birds - and crashed into various walls, and even into a booth selling cabbages - the booth owner's wails for the destruction of his cabbages was almost drowned out by the shocked cries of the rest of the Devil's Cookbook Gang as Toma made his presence fully known. He could not be ignored now.
"Does that answer your question?" Fenrir spoke to Gaston before he turned his scarlet eyes toward Toma.
Toma spoke up, apologizing for his late entrance, and then commenting on why he had waited until that moment in order to make his grand appearance, all with flourish, pomp, and circumstance. Oh, he had not just made himself known, he had done so with theatrics. And they were appreciated; the men around them took a collective step away from Toma as well as Fenrir, as they saw that yet another member of the opposition had not only stepped forward but had very quickly proven their dominance on the battlefield.
"Oh? I don't mind you being late; and this isn't my natural habitat. You want to see me there, I'll probably be naked and there will be snow on the ground," He grinned, a mischievous smile that crossed his features as he turned to look at Toma, much to Gaston's chagrin, "If you want to see that, I am more than willing to accommodate," he said in a flirtatious tone.
"Don't ignore me, damn you!" Gaston growled, losing his composure as he charged in from behind, his eyes blazing with anger at being treated like some common nobody, able to be ignored now that Toma made himself present. He brought his fist down, aimed at the back of Fenrir's head. Except the wolf just slid over to the side, sidestepping the attack as the man's momentum carried him forward and past Fenrir who raised his arm up and brought his hand down in a powerful chop to the back of Gaston's thick beefy muscular neck. The force was enough to bring the man crashing to the ground, face first, and smashing into the dirt with a crash, half burying his face in the floor as the ground beneath him cracked.
"The adults are talking, try to wait your turn like a good boy," Fenrir spoke down to the, seemingly unconscious, man before he turned his attention back to Toma, "So, have you decided to join in on the festivities then? I wouldn't mind another partner to play with; Hachi's a great partner though, aren't you?"

Misaki put a hand to her arm, one sleeve ripped bare as the other was covered in red form her messy bandaging. She'd learned to bandage as part of some basic first aid courses she'd taken a year or two back, but it was the first time for her to be wrapping her own body parts, and while the quick tie around her knee was simple enough, the blast to her shoulder was definitely awkward to handle. She'd regained some feeling in the limb, at least... though the sudden re-appearance of feeling in the arm made Misaki question if she'd been paying enough attention in biology or first-aid... She shouldn't be able to move the shoulder at this point, right?
She supposed she didn't understand human biology nearly as well as she understood that of plants, but it still seemed... out of place. odd. as was the fact she'd mostly stopped bleeding. Luckily, as she followed the trail of her comrades, finding the place Fenrir was supposed to go, she walked forward with a certain swagger - a strong frown on her face. Before now, she'd simply wanted to take down this Devil's cook gang based off of a feeling of debt - a desire to pay the teahouse back properly for misconduct.
Now...? She'd find every single one of their gang that acted like the two she'd fought earlier - and end those ill-mannered miscreants little rampage. It had clearly been going on far too long, and not only her pride and her body was marked up by their strength - they'd ruined a 300 dollar outfit. Money was not easy to come by in her current time of life...
perhaps she'd be able to find some meaningful employment to fix this problem later, but for now, a Misaki with a perfectly-good-until-recently outfit limped towards the rest of the group with red eyes flaring, catching up to the entrance of the room toma and fenrir were fighting their way through...

This was it. Supposedly the last fight. The two men that tried to attack Jade started to smirk and chuckle to themselves, which was a bit weird. It all made sense when one of them started to explain themself.
"Hmph. So, it's you. The pink haired cat girl that took care of Quill. She wasn't even the strongest out of all of us. We were expecting you and Princess Juniper. Don't you dare think that this fight is going to be easy. We'll not allow anyone to stop us."
Why were they so confident? Hm, that was something even Jade didn't know the answer to.
"Enough talking. It's time to end this."
Immediately, her jade green aura flared up, and she dashed towards them both, aiming both her fists at their stomachs. Somehow, they managed to avoid the attack. How? Jade stopped abruptly in her tracks, as she looked at the two men in disbelief. They started to laugh. So soon as Jade was about to attack them again, a few of the gang members held her back by the arm. They looked at her for a few moments, and she tried to get away from the gang members, but they held her by the arm in a way that she couldn't escape. Well, she didn't see a way to get out until she felt her half bruised tail being grabbed. It was at that point where she felt an unbearable amount of pain. She screamed in agony, and suddenly, her aura began to flare up around her form. It ended up scaring the gang members that were holding on to her, and they let her loose because of this. The violent aura was still surrounding her form, as she looked at the men, thinking about her next move.
"Next time, I won't miss."
She said. She wasn't exactly going to attack them as yet, but instead she wanted to get past them so that Juniper could heal her tail that became worse than before. She ran towards the two, but instead of attacking, she leaped into the air, somersaulting over them and in Juniper's reach.
"Ok, Juni. I'll protect you while you tend to my tail. It got worse because some guy grabbed it."
While Juniper was taking a look at Jade's tail, a few of the gang members came at Jade, trying to attack her. Jade managed to catch both their fists, and punch them in the stomach to hold them off. One fell to the ground while the other went flying across the street.
"What the-?! Hey guys, get her!"
It's a good thing that Jade's tail was ok now. Now, she can move around freely, and take down these goons once and for all. The first one threw their fist at her face, which she managed to dodge. Picking up from her momentum, she grabbed his arm and kicked him in the stomach. It was obviously painful, as she held his stomach in agony, and fell to the ground. He passed out immediately. She didn't exactly mean to do that. Fighting these gang members was something that she was slightly worried about, but that wasn't all. When Barbeque started to threaten Juniper, Jade was about to get pretty defensive, and most likely punch him in the face. Even though Fenrir was there and she was at a distance. But.. Juniper had her ways. Ways that Jade didn't even expect?
"How dare you?! I won't let you hur-!"
She stopped to listen to Juniper, as she assured Jade that she would be fine and that she should go all out. She responded with a nod of her head, showing that she agrees to what Juniper had to say, but what had Jade shocked was the fact that Juniper had her giant form, 'Hachiko', this whole time. Jade was a bit confused when she first heard the name.
"Huh? Hachiko?"
But, once Juniper transformed into the beast, it made more sense. It had the other gang members looking at her themselves. Only for a few moments at least, and Jade took the opportunity to punch one of the female gang members in the gut. She doubled over the feline's fist, which pretty much got the attention of the others. Now, they were furious. This random guy from the gang came rushing at Jade, and he launched his first at her face. She grabbed his fist and drove her fist in his face, which caused a slight bruise on the male's face. Hmm, this doesn't look too good. There were just too many gang members here. If only she could get someone else to fight with her. Juniper may have transformed into Hachiko, but the others were needed. Hm, there wasn't much time. As Jade took a few steps back, an idea suddenly spiked up in her mind. She spread her fingers apart, this is with both her hands, and placed it over her forehead shouting 'SOLAR FLARE!'. A bright jade green light was emitted from it, and it blinded the people around her. Obviously, this wouldn't last for a long time, maybe for about thirty seconds. But at least it gave her time to think. Anger flowed through her body, as she looked at the people in front her. She wondered why they wouldn't stop fighting, and stop stealing from the restaurants. For the first time in a long time, anger serged through her body. Her facial expression became neutral and her stare was suddenly directed at Barbecue. Her aura suddenly flared up around her form. With her ki increasing, her hair fluttered behind her and her tail wagged in an upward direction.
"You're all going to pay for what you did, now that most of you are blind, I won't spare this gang. Hmph. Haaa!"
It was obvious that her speeds grew immensely as she charged at the large group of gang members, taking them out one by one. As much as she became a bit serious about this fight, she still needed help, unless she pulled off some sort of miracle and totally take down these bad guys.

Hachi watched in amazement as Fenrir took down gaston, the octopus remained observant with Toma’s arrival, and nodded his head when the wolf deity addressed the octopod.
It was a relief to Hachiko detect familiar ki signatures in the restaurant, Toma, Misaki, Hachi and Fenrir were held up in the front of the restaurant while Jade and Sakuya remained in the kitchen with her. Cutlery, pots, and pans were sent flying in the air as Sakuya sliced into half of the gangsters using her demon-like claws, Jade took care of the remaining half, and Hachiko grappled Barbecue into a visible violet aura. In a matter of minutes the gang was subdued in the kitchen, local Police officers took the tunnel from the previous location to arrest the gangsters. The tea princess was cornered, she had hoped no one had to see her transform again, but she was forced to turn back into Juniper before retreating towards the front of the restaurant to regroup with Hachi.
In that brief moment, her straight platinum white hair changed to dark brown ringlets, and her crimson red eyes met Misaki’s until her irises turned cobalt blue. The blood was obvious through the crude bandages that the greenette was injured, Juniper stood by her with glowing hands while she smiled at the gardener before turning to the others.
“Thank you for all your help, the streets are now safe because we worked together as a team, though it seems it’s not over quite yet.” Juniper looked over to the unconscious man at Fenrir’s feet, “We only came across one of the Cook’s gang brothers in the kitchen, the other location only had low level thugs, it seems the remaining might be with Koma-san and Riku-san. I fear they might have escaped if the samurai did not get them all.”
Juniper turned to Misaki again, “If you allow it, Misaki-san, I can tend to your wounds.”

Misaki's body shuddered, as she went to open her mouth to answer. Answering should be easy, and yet the Battle-worn human felt the energy floating so far out of her reach. her energy was nearly spent just getting her here.
A large portion of her body was spent, and unconsciousness briefly beckoned. A swift death. a black-out. The normally boundless woman felt her limits hit as her energy trailed in sad, colorless white wisps.
Was she to fall here?
Was she, Misaki Kazamiya, to fall after a battle with a common street thug.
The struggling legs found a way to grow still as a bitter annoyance came across the gardener as her energy ceased being that of a human. all at once, ever so suddenly, the energy changed - becoming something else. something inhuman entirely.
With sudden ease, Misaki stood, as a subtle red surrounded certain features. Her eyes grew a more narrowed, slightly slit-like composition as she stood straight, her energy no longer spent but easily circulating.
With a sigh, and a sudden look of determination, Misaki would look to Juni. "...I'd like that." The Gardener would add, her voice holding a little more edge. "We have more prey to hunt. I'm guessing you can get these handled quickly?" She'd ask, with just a touch less politeness than normal...
And ever so slightly pointed teeth that were visible for bare flashes behind her lips, as she spoke, even with her usual, casual smile.

The was only a string of words heard from the speaker of Koma's cellular phone as his call connected with Juniper's, and it was not a full picture but was enough to let him know what was going on. Barbecue, for who else would talk with such a cocky attitude, had threatened Juniper. In this action to prevent assault on things which Ma-Te loved, there was a chance of someone who Ma-Te loved being harmed instead. Koma of the Bear Clan, Koma of the White Cat Clan, Koma of many names – he would not allow it. As the phone sung its screeching melody of disconnection noises, he pocketed it and then looked to Riku. “They've attacked the others, apparently the majority of their forces are elsewhere. Have you ever played the game known as Salmon's leap? Because we're about to leap across the entire mountainside and up the proverbial waterfall.” He assumed Riku would understand the urgency he meant as the half-Saiyan Samurai turned and prepared to rush and leap through the streets, blocked off household gardens, and multi-story buildings to head towards the place where he knew Juniper should be from the map. It wouldn't be instantaneous but neither would be Barbecue's death when Koma finally got to him. Somewhere, a metaphorical shamisen player was running their finger's raw to keep up with his pace. "Ah, it would be a privilege and honor to see such a beautiful sight with my own eyes. I'll have to take you on that accommodation in the future." Toma said softly in his deep voice as a smile creased upon his lips, and he rubbed his chin thoughtfully as he entertained the idea; after a hearty meal together with nothing but the finest delicacies and spirits, of course. However, after he had witnessed Fenrir dispatch Gaston with ease, he could feel a pleasurable shiver run through his body; a worthy mate indeed, oh how he hoped Fenrir was a long-lived being like himself unlike all the other mortals, so he could share the rest of his days with the wolf. "Indeed I have, and I'm confident my vassal and the others have matters under control on their end." Toma confirmed to Fenrir with a chuckle and had decided that he might as well offer his own talents as he followed Fenrir to their destination to the inside of the restaurant. Meanwhile, Sakuya returned to her original innocent demeanor and simply observed the ongoing fights with her arms at her sides until she was needed or called upon for a new task.

The sound of Gaston's body hitting the ground had been just the right note to cause every single one of the goons that stood around to go utterly silent. The man had been brought down so easily, with one single simple strike, a chop, to the back of the neck. He went down, hard, and was left to lie on the ground, unconscious. He was alive, everyone could hear that he was breathing, but had been knocked clearly and fully unconscious. He would wake up sooner or later, Fenrir was sure of it, with a throbbing headache and, from the way his face hit the floor, a broken nose. Both of those ailments would heal, over time, given medical care. His ego, on the other hand, that would take longer to heal, but that was not his concern at the moment.
"He took down Gaston," the whispering began to spread.
"Yes, I did, didn't I?" The wolf peered over at the men, his eyes taking on a cold chilly glint. The air around him almost wavered, as if the temperature around his body and his body alone had dropped as he turned to face them. He took one step towards them and as soon as his foot touched the ground, frost spread outward across the floor from underneath his feet. "I already told you, if he did not survive the three minutes with me, then you can all beat it. I've grown bored of you." He cracked a bit of a smile, a toothy one, "I don't want to see a single one of your faces, smell your foul scent, or hear your grating voices here again. Or I'll do more than give you a simple love tap like I gave your friend there."
He turned away from them, several of them had taken a few steps back, away from Fenrir, and they watched as he walked toward the restaurant from where he detected Juni's presence.
As the wolf entered, the police swarmed the thugs outside, catching them off guard as they cried out, attempting to flee but to no avail, each one was arrested, thrown into the back of a police car, one after another.
Fenrir followed his nose to Juni, also following her undeniable energy reading, "Oy, Princess, are you alright back here?" He questioned as he spotted the young Tea Princess, "I doubt you needed my help; a damsel in distress, you are not." He walked over, a small smile crossing his face, "Though, I wouldn't have minded seeing you in action, if I am allowed to be frank."
He peered around the restaurant then turned to her again, "Hachi was a very good partner, you know?"

OOC: It was not meant for there to be a posting order for this thread and I reached out to Darth who plays Riku to post and have not received a response, so we will skip his turn until he can post again.
Juniper noticed immediately how fatigued Misaki had been after she spent the energy to aid their operation, it was not enough to simply clear out these ruthless thugs who were doing everything in their power to gain control of unmarked territory that was under protection by the Tea Clan. Unlike the other duchies who controlled smaller villages, an old city required a lot more work by trusting capable fighters, and the police to handle the law as the clan saw fit.
“The trouble our enemies are causing is political rather than powerful, they are disturbing the peace of the local businesses by manipulating the market for zeni with their thug-like influence, and perhaps our actions here today will discourage such behavior in the future. However, I feel that our traditional lifestyle is the main cause of these attempts to disrupt the balance.”
Juniper’s cobalt blue eyes turned as red as Misaki’s, she then tapped into her demonic mystic powers to heal the gardener, using her brush she painted the sigils in mid-air to restore her back to health as well as some of her ki. A physician typically required physical contact to restore a patient but a mystic utilized an ancient sorcery to create an invisible healing spell to perform entire miracles on a person’s body. Anyone with a ki signature nearby would also feel the effects of the tea princess’ invisible aura, a sign of her abilities with the healing arts which she trained her entire childhood to master, and when her eyes changed back to blue she smiled.
“Good as new, almost, I was not able to restore all of your ki, and I will need to research that further. You’re quite gifted, your ki pool is abundant, as it surpasses my own and I wonder.” Juniper pulled a chair from a nearby table and motioned for the greenette to take a seat. “Rest up and catch your breath, Misaki-san. As soon as we hear from the others to regroup we can sleep with ease to recover from this battle.”
A familiar voice caught her attention, the wolf deity called out to her, and she turned to look at his direction along with Toma and Hachi. Without Sakuya’s help, Juniper and Jade would have been in quite the pinch being outnumbered, but Duke Toma’s quiet vassal with a segment of bamboo clenched between her teeth was a fearsome demon especially trained to subdue their enemies to protect their home village.
“Eh, I was concerned for a moment, when I was forced to turn into my demon form....” There was melancholy in her voice, “Ever since my brother was murdered by a saiyan thug from Little Vegeta, these people think they can take out the rest of my clan, and take over the city. Thanks to you and the others, we can preserve the natural ancient beauty my grandfather Oolong built over the years and restore the order for the residents here.”
Hachi blushed from being included by the princess for aiding in their efforts to subdue the miscreants. The Police were doing their part in carrying out the unconscious from the kitchen in the charge of medical team, through the back door of the restaurant’s kitchen, and arrested the conscious criminals.
“I developed quite an appetite from all that spent up energy. I wonder what is good around here and at this hour.”
