Well, that was certainly a waste of a trip. None of the Pig Demon Duchies allowed Will to go up Korin Tower to meet with his father cause they couldn't believe that they were related. At the very least he was able to write them a letter of his recent adventures and what happened. Still though if they are that strict of letting people see his father then it is no wonder he didn't come to help Will while he was in a coma on an island in the middle of the ocean. Those people might have refused to let him leave the place.
He feels sorry for his father, it must not be easy living up in that tower forever. Thoughts of such a life are why Will left there to explore the world instead of staying with him. That's probably why his mother left too. Such a sad life that must be, being up there all alone for so long, even if the view was marvelous. Hopefully, that letter gets to him and he'll feel less lonely.
Another thing he wishes happened was winning that ice sculpting contest. He really would've liked to win that 500,000 Zeni. At the very least he and his partner had fun and that's all that matters. He still has that Zeni that Reese rewarded him with. The question is what he could spend it on. As he is flying back to the place Melody let Will O. Wisp stay for a while and had hm healed at.
While he still wishes that that fight never happened at least Will learned a lot and got stronger from it, he also appreciates Melody for letting him stay at such a luxurious place and be tended to. There's even a spa at this place which he may have helped himself to for a while. He flies to the top floor to where his room's balcony was and jumps off of his cloud, he opens the sliding door and goes inside to begin packing up his things and leaving. He wishes he could say goodbye to Melody or thank her but apparently she is busy elsewhere. He hopes he can meet her again someday.
It was then that he heard knocking at the door, out of it was Portobello, Melody's servant who helped heal him with his magic.
"Ah it's you, I was just about to pack up and leave," Will said.
"Oh it's fine Master Wisp, but I sensed that you arrived and just came by to tell you that a package arrived at our doorstep with the Pig Demon Duchies stamp on it and some kind of other marking on it. It doesn't seem to have any return address or name, but it is signed to be delivered to you. It doesn't appear to be dangerous, although I do sense great power in it, it is not malicious in anyway. Whoever gave you this item must think of you kindly to give an item of such mystical energy to you. I hope you took great care with it. Hope you enjoyed your stay here," Portobello said.
Portobello then hands Will and oddly shaped wrapped package tied with string. Portobello then tips his candle hat and leaves before Will stops him by tugging on his shirt.
"If you ever do see Melody again, tell her thank you for what she did for me, and tell her sorry that I wasn't able to say that to her in person." Will said.
"I'll be sure to give that message to her next time I see her," Portobello said.
As Portobello leaves Will sits on the bed to unwrap the package, however he then looks to see a note attached to it. Besides the Pig Demon Duchies seal there appears to be a pawprint mark in black ink imprinted on the note as well. He unfolds the note and it reads a short message:
"Read your letter, you're doing great kid, I have been holding onto something for a while. If anyone deserves to take care of this it's probably you. Take good care of it now, there maybe a lot of these but they're not so easy to find anymore." the note said.
The message, the pawprint, Will knew what this letter means. He did right a lot about his recent exploits like the shark with the Dragon Ball Shard inside it and accomplishments and even some of his own hardships. How did he managed to get it delivered to here after he read Will's letter though? That old cat surely does work in mysterious ways. He carefully unwraps the letter and to his surprise what he held in his paws made his eyes open and his pupils dilate looking at it as he audibly gasps. The orange color, there's even bits of what was one shapes of four stars on this piece, this is a Dragon Ball Shard.
Truly a gift to treasure and hold on to, and one he shall not take for granted. He puts the Dragon Ball Shard in a safe place in his bag while packing up. The question is where to go now? Perhaps he can buy a new place to live in Orange Star City now that he has the Zeni. Or even fix up his old Dojo and just live there.
He goes out the balcony and flies off to the east. Surfing through the sky and touching the clouds as he goes by them. He wouldn't want to fly any other way. Especially since this is faster then regular flying. As he is flying over the Central Lands he is beginning to sense a few malicious auras down in a jungle below. They seem strong but not as strong as Will, and they don't seem to be aware of Will's presence as they are not attacking him.
Luckily he is always having his power level suppressed to prevent himself from being jumped by people who would want to pick a fight and or rob him. He then looks to see several demons, some to be Daimao Piccolo's spawn while others seem to be true demons. They all appear to be arguing with each other. Will hides in the foliage above the trees as he uses his cat ears to listen in on their conversation. Whatever they're up to, it can't be anything good that's for sure.
"I'm telling you Whistle, this is nothing to be concerned about?" said a bull like demon.
"Not concerned, not concerned?! Those martial artists have been killing our kin left and right and now they plan to build a civilization not too far off from our own lands and you say that shouldn't be of concern?!" the Demon Namekian Whistle said.
"They're all probably weak, a bit a single one of us could wipe them all out no problem if we worked together, I bet they think if they can all be in one big group they think they can beat anyone with power of teamwork or friendship or some other human garbage like that," a hideous spider like demon said with a feminine voice.
"The more these Martial Artists unite the less likely we are to beat them, not to mention that it seems the man in charge of this operation seems to be a popular Martial Artist. A lot of things are being said about him and it doesn't seem to be no lie, they call him the Duke of Satan." another Demon Namekian said.
"Duke of Satan? Is this Satan City they're talking about, so they finally are getting built, that's great to hear. Hmm I do need a new place to leave and if they need help constructing it then I suppose it wouldn't hurt to chip in myself," Will thought
"Bagpipes is right, which is why I brought you two from the Northern Demon Kingdom to listen to me, a lot of the others aren't listening to me and I can't be able to speak with the Daimao about this matter, so we were hoping you could convince those in the Northern Demon Kingdom to aide us in attacking this city," Whistle said.
"Wait, this dude's name is Satan? Alright, we'll help just so we punch some stuck up human using the name of a phony demon. That's a text book example of cultural appropriation if I ever heard it," the bull demon said.
"Honestly if it's an excuse for eating people I'm in, and I am sure some buddies of mine will also share the same sentiment," the spider demon said rubbing her hands together.
That doesn't sound good, time to intervene. Which one one to catch from surprise and take down first. The bull esque demon is the largest and the strongest of the two demons, but not as strong as the two Demon Namekians who are both slightly stronger then the demons. Probably why they are even bothering listening to them. Will then pounces and then flying kicks the bulls head breaking their skull and knocking them into a tree as their head is planted inside it.
One of the Demon Namekians had one of those newfangled Scouter devices on their heads.
"Alright Whistle, we can take this guy right? I mean we're stronger then those two was, how high can his power level be?" Bagpipes ask.
"It's over eight freaking thousand!" Whistle said taking and crushing his Scouter.
"What the hell that can't be right that little guy can't have that much! Hakutaku had four thousand, Jorogumo has two thousand five hundred, and we each have five thousand. And you're tell me this guy has more then those two combined?!" Bagpipes yelled.
"Together we have more then enough power to beat him, we need to silence so we can continue the plan," Whistle said.
"That is true, adding together the numbers that device said all of your powers equal to you do have more then I do, but numbers are not everything. As you will soon see," Will said.
Bagpipes and Whistle then began to fire a barrage of various bolts of energy towards Will. Will began to dodge each gracefully with his superior speed and reflexes. Jorogumo attempts to shoot at Will with her webs, and all manage to miss him. It was then however, that he began to feel his left arm stuck to something. He then stops to see his arms caught in webbing as he seems himself surrounded in webs. She wasn't trying to hit him in the first place, she was setting a trap around him that would restrict his movement.
"Oh ho ho ho, strong as you are not many people can escape my webs with ease. Imbued with my demonic powers only my death can ensue your freedom, now boys prove yourself as demons and kill this fool. I don't care if you leave enough for me to eat or not, I could always eat Hakutaku's corpse," Jorogumo said.
Whistle and Bagpipes then get side by side and form a circle together with their hands. Within this circle a powerful beam of both of their energies combined is being formed. If that hits, Will might surely die, he goes to get his right arm out but it gets stuck as well. However, it is pointing towards them. He manages to open his right paw and begins to build energy within it. He hasn't done this technique with only one hand but it wouldn't hurt to try it out now.
"This is the power of the Turtle School, my training, my courage, and my determination. I put all that I have into this one attack. Kame...hame...HAAAA!!!" Will yelled out.
It was then then the two large energy beams began to clash, however as they are clashing Will begins to power up even more as his aura begins to spike. As the Kamehameha begins to quickly push pack their beam Whistle and Bagpipe try to power up to fight back against it, but it's too late as they being caught into the beam and heading straight towards Jorogumo. Jorogumo yells as the beam heads towards and engulfs as a bright light and explosion rings out of the jungle as many birds and animals scatter away from the commotion. As Will does this he falls down to the ground as the webs then become just regular weak spider webs. He then jumps onto the tree tops above as he looks over the horizon.
He then calls his Flying Nimbus as he flies over to the Southern Lands. Since the Demon Namekians said it was close to their kingdom Satan City must be being constructed there. It takes quite a while for Will to get to Southern Lands, especially with that sudden stop he had to make, but he ends up go past the Central Lands border as he flies over familiar territory as he remembers flying over these lands when he was first awoken from his long coma. Of course staying far away as he can from the Southern Demon Kingdom, he looks around to find any signs of construction, perhaps he can see his old friend the Duke there as well.
