Celerai felt his strength depleting as the spar went on, but what went up was his determination. His determination to impress The Duke, The Duke of Mister Satan. As the battle progressed, the most Celerai has been doing is throwing some ki infused punches at Duke's stomach. Yes, it is more effective than normal hits, bit it wasn't good enough. Everyone he threw his imbued fist at him, he barely flinched. Duke started one of his motivational speeches again. This time, it was something about.. basically bring out something surprising at the moment when you need it most. A new move, a new technique, even a new transformation. Celerai hasn't really been working on any of these, to be honest. All he wanted to do was to bring the techniques he has now to perfection. The fight continued with Duke attempting to kick the Saiyan in the stomach, which was easily sidestepped. But that wasn't it. A spin kick was aimed right at his jaw. BAM! As the kick connected, Celerai could feel his body shaking from the impact. Once he regained his balance, he started talking. "Hmm.. I've always thought about getting new techniques, but.. I can't think of one right now, I'm pretty.. blank right now. Wait.. okay, let me try this."Witg some sort of plan in mind, he rushed at his opponent, attempting to uppercut him twice, instead of merely punching him in the stomach. Celerai was, unfortunately, not so prepared that they could pull out a powerful finishing technique from thin air - however, it did bolster their determination to carry on to a point where he drew out more and more strength to power himself up with. Powerful blows struck the Duke of Satan one of the other, both of them smacking him straight in the jaw and staggering his movement - the sheer force forced him to stumble backwards and clench onto his chin. His tenacity could still endure a lot, but his energy reserves were faltering. No matter how determined he was, he was not going to last in the battle long if he was exhausted. "Good..." Drama! Tension! In battle, this is more important than one's own safety! This is what martial arts should truly be about! It was merely the same result. The hits connecting and The Duke of Satan simply staggering, but showed no sign of pain. It was making the Saiyan kind of frustrated, as he realized that Duke wasn't really getting tired. At least, not as fast as he is. I don't think I can hold up with these ki infused punches much longer. But they are much more effective, in my opinion. I can't hold back.The Duke did say something, but instead of a lecture, he simply said, "Good." Celerai took the opportunity to jokingly say "So, can I have the candy now?"As said before, Celerai wasn't exactly aiming to win, he was just trying to impress.. 'The Duke of Satan'. Duke threw some powerful blows at Celerai, and because of his slowness at this point, everyone of them connected. Celerai couldn't afford to be knocked down and not put in something big. If not a new technique, a new way of fighting? Celerai charged at Duke, attempting to do what he recently did, to throw two uppercuts at him. WC: 182 | 3,935 {BATTLE INFO - CELERAI}

"Bahahaha!" the Duke released a hearty laugh, hearing Celerai point out the joke he made from earlier and asking for the noble's one of a kind candy to be given to him again. He cracked a wide smirk and crossed his arms when the Saiyan struck him again, blocking both of his blows with his crossed arms and speaking: "If you're very, very good, kid, maybe you'll get one!" He really was quite good, though... the Duke's stamina was finally reaching its complete and utter limit. If it turns out that Celerai is still somewhat fresh and will be able to keep this up on and on... he's not going to win. Which is still very exciting! The Duke gritted his teeth, building up the remaining ounces of energy within his body, and then suddenlt lunged forth. He still has a chance! And acting upon that chance, he suddenly sent two powerful smashes straight towards the Saiyan's gut. [Words: 158/3202] Defensive Phase Ki Blade - vs 40 def - hits for 13 damage! Duke kept on caring the Saiyan 'kid'. It didn't bother Celerai one but, but he wondered if he didn't know that.. Anyways, the Saiyan's punches were blocked by Duke, after which he crossed his arm to answer the question, could he have the candy now. He stated that if he was good, he, would get the candy. To be honest, that sounded like some kid asking his parents for candy, and they would say, "You'll have to be a good boy then." Two powerful hits went straight into the Saiyan's stomach, causing spit to fly from his mouth. He didn't anything much left in him, to be honest, but he still decided to go all out, giving all he has got to give, to impress.. 'The Duke of Satan'. Once he regained his balance, he said "Come on, man. You got to eat some candy, so why can't I have some. Maybe it might just get me pumped up like it did to you. You've gotten to your old self eating that candy, and I think it's fair if I have some. And one more thing, I'm not a kid Duke. Don't you know that Saiyans age slower than Humans?"

For some reason, the fact that Duke Satan decided to withhold candy from Celerai offended the Saiyan greatly - at least to a point where he put a pause to the fight and began to complain about how he should deserve a candy too, that it would really rejuvenate him, and that he's not a kid, so the Duke should stop calling him that. He ended the rant off with some stuff about how Saiyans age slower than humans, before charging forward to strike at him again. And this time, the blows struck and resonated. The Duke barely raised a guard in time, the sheer force of Celerai's attack easily breaking through his hasty defense and leaving a nasty bruise across the towering Earthling warrior's cheek. Such strength... If he can repeat it and continue bashing the Duke with it, perhaps he can actually win. For now, however... "Hahaha! Maturity is not just a factor of age, little Saiyan!" the Duke laughed and explained, striking a smirk. "It is a factor of how mature you act, too! And since you found it acceptable to pause a spar in order to ask me for some candy, I'd say you're not the strongest branch in the forest in that department!" The Duke lunged forth again, sending a series of powerful blows towards the Saiyan's chest. If he doesn't finish this soon, his chances of victory won't turn out well... The spar was obviously going end soon, which a high chance of Celerai being the victim and Duke being the victor, as the Saiyan didn't have much left inside of him. He was extremely exhausted at this point. Celerai struck the towering human twice, leaving a nasty bruise on his cheek, in which Celerai found very.. unpleasant. That's.. brutal.."Woah, didn't mean to hurt you that much, hehe."Then Duke, since the start of the fight, continued on the points that were brought up during the spar. He stated that maturity isn't about age, it's about the way someone acts. He also stated that since Celerai felt the need to stop the spar to complain about not getting a candy, he isn't acting mature. Celerai simply ignored him, and was mostly focused on his state right now. Duke rushed at Celerai, sending multiple blows to his chest, in which the Saiyan was unable to dodge. He took each and everyone if those blow, and now was even more fatigue than usual. "Ok.. could we just stop talking about candy now. It's obvious that you won't give me, and.. Mister Satan has suffered worse injuries and stood back up, after all!" the Duke of Satan yelled back at the Saiyan warrior in order to dispel his concern, then moved into an offensive battle stance, awaiting his opponent to strike again. He was no longer in any condition to defend himself, his muscles were getting far too tired from taking every single attack heading his way all the time - this meant that the only way forward from now on was a full, unstoppable offense. Celerai lunged at him again, first throwing an energy infused punch, then following it up with a weaker, unpowered one. They both hurt, a lot. But they also gave Duke Satan hope. After all, if the Saiyan could no longer summon the strength necessary to throw energy punches one after the other, then he too must have gotten exhausted to a point where he could not fight for much longer. Finally, the spar was over. It ended pretty unexpectedly, in Celerai's opinion. Once he got the ki infused punch and the regular punch, he was rather confident that he might win, seeing that Duke was pretty tired himself. Duke stated that he will not be able to get the candy in the spar but instead, he would have a candy at 'Satan City'. Celerai was extremely excited when he heard about Satan City. Yes, I've finally got through to him. I've impressed him.Standing there, not realizing was happening in front of him, he immediately received two punches to the stomach, and.. that was the decider of the spar. "Ugh!"He fell to the ground and looked at his opponent saying "Ok Duke, that's enough for me.
