Appearance: Wuubi stands at a less than imposing 5`8,the lack of intimidation is only added to by the slim frame on the girl and meek posture. Due to the shock and partly due to her current demonic host, half of her hair is a silvery white while the other is a jet black. Her eyes fluctuate, giving away whom of the pair has more control of the body at a given time. Normal blue eyes for Wuubi and bright red with black Sclera if the demon has managed to get in charge. Depending on their current arrangement, one eye or the other might have swapped to red. Clothing wise Wuubi wears a slightly altered version of the outfit that she had been gifted to wear by the cult. Layered white and black clothing with blue bands within which is etched the name of the demon she now bares. The ensemble is designed to look a little archaic and reminiscent of a spell caster’s formal wear while being flexible
Personality: Wuubi is rather a meek young woman, having all the self esteem of the average earthworm due to her upbringing and still trying to cope with having her newfound freedom instead of the rewarded afterlife she had been promised when the world ender claimed her body, she has yet to discover any real hobbies or things she really likes and mostly listens to Yakunitatanai’s advice as to how to proceed with things. Her having the stronger soul for now leaves her to pilot the body as it were under the guidance of the demon.
Yakunitatanai on the other hand is a driven and egocentric demon, wanting the world for himself and pushing for any opportunity to further his next to non existent strength, acting for now as Wuubi’s guide. He is somewhat sadistic in his treatment of those weaker than him, while being fearful/respectful of those with strength. Lacking conventional hobbies, the demon only really wishes to see all beings crushed underfoot with him at the top of the pile.
History: The creation of a world ending monster is no easy task. First one must find a suitable vessel, raise it to proper age and prime it for being a host, at the same time while doing as such you have to appease and swell the power of the would be end of the world, usually a demon falsely believing itself to be a deity of destruction. Such creatures are often imprisoned and the releasing of them from their prison and into the vessel is a difficult task.
Wuubi is one such attempt. Stolen shortly after birth by a cult of death worshipping Yakunitatanai, a supposed demon god of death and destruction who would in the cult’s eyes was destined to bring about the end of the world and supplant the members of the cult as the new world’s ruling class. So their secret work began for the next two decades, properly brainwashing little Konran, changing her name to Wuubi in the process and making her fully believe that her entire life and purpose was to host Yakunitatanai.
Thus the fateful night came, all was ready the proper sigils were carved into Wuubi’s flesh and the cult called upon Yakunitatanai. Perhaps during their time of preparation, they should have actually investigated just who it was that they were calling out to. Yakunitatanai turned out to be a rather ambitious yet weak demon who had been trying to use the cults vessel in order to increase his own power. Wuubi as it turned out was actually slightly more powerful due to the cult’s rather brutal regime to make her body worthy and the demon was unable to oust the soul of the human despite her trying to allow this to happen.
The end result was a mixed being, both demon and human and in the cult’s eyes worthless, they decried the false destroyer and banished the newfound pair from their secret temple to fend for themselves in the world. Initially the new being was barely able to move. Yakunitatanai not being strong enough to force the body to move alone and his efforts only made Wuubi’s own jumbled and erratic. Forced to make some means of communication the demon opened a mental link to the human and negotiations began. A form of peace brokered and a means to at least co-ordinate themselves to move and attempt to pass for a human. Though neither really knows how to pass as a normal human, neither having spent any real time among them.

It had been a confusing couple of days, and no real time during any of it to actually stop and reflect on any of it. Yakun as she had been graciously allowed to shorten his name to had been rather quiet for the last few miles having set her in this direction. At the very least they had managed to get her limbs moving. It was almost embarrassing in a way that she had retained herself when her body had been given to the destroyer. He had rather awkwardly explained to her that he was nothing like as powerful as the cult had led her to believe.
“I don’t get it, if the idea was to get a strong host, wasn’t this always going to happen?”
The demon stirred, it was a weird sensation, almost like the feeling of waking up while you were already awake. That was about the best she had been able to describe it, and now she heard his voice once again.
The idea was that the cult was to remove the soul before I inhabited it. Unfortunately for us both that did not happen. Though this new arrangement works, we will still need to seek strength. Are we at the city yet?
So he wasn’t able to see what she was seeing. She’d felt him take over before now and she’d temporarily lost her ability to see, even when she could feel her eye moving independently of the other that she could see through. If she did gather sufficient strength it was likely she’d finally get erased as intended and Yakun would control her body fully and begin the destruction of the world.
“We’re at the gate, but I do not understand. Why will being here allow us to gain strength?”
Simple child, others with strength are here. By spending time around the not pathetic strength that the cult imbued you with will grow
That didn’t make a lot of sense to Wuubi, but she wasn’t going to argue with him. He was far more important than she was and he knew much more about the world around him than she did. She felt the itching ticklish sensation behind her right eye and lost the vision from it as he looked around them, he was barely able to do even that right now which was a shame. She’d have much preferred he lead the way but as it was she was going to have to put up with him, giving directions.
Okay, look for anything implying a town square or central mess hall, we are going to start at the centre and keep our eyes open for anyone with prowess above the norm… You know what’s normal for humanity right? Or do I have to be the one to tell you.
“Um… I’m guessing not flying, nor being able to do this?”
She allowed a little energy to collect in her palm before little it fade and disperse in the wind with a content little smile on her face. It had taken quite some time for the cultists to get the idea of manipulating her energy like that and she was quite pleased with the little trick. He seemed mostly displeased with her however.
That was a waste, and we don’t know what kind of reputation those with power have here. Giving away what you can do so easily is a mistake
“Sorry sir, I won’t do it again.”
She would have bowed, but that would probably be more unusual than just a girl talking to herself as she started to slowly step forwards, red eye darting about while her own blue gaze remained steadily forwards as if nothing was happening. The city seemed fairly pleasant and was quite well signposted, she couldn’t see anything that implied she was heading towards a town square or centre of town.
“Is there anyone we can ask?”
Perhaps, there might be folk in a uniform, it’ll have a badge. They might be willing to help you.
Finding one such person was little more difficult than reaching the end of the street as there seemed to be one such person. They were wearing a badge and an odd outfit and seemingly directing the traffic. She’d seen a few such things before, they were called cars according to Yakun and people used them to get to places quickly. It seemed a little unnecessary to Wuubi when one could learn to fly at a young age and she reasoned that it’d be faster than the car. Either way she called out to the man in.
“Excuse me sir? I’m trying to find the centre of the city?”
He was quick to usher her back out of the road and then quickly told her a series of turns to make. Wuubi looked a little blank at the rapid fire lefts and rights and numbers but Yakun understood well enough and the pair went on their way with Wuubi’s confusion only growing worse as time went by. This was a strange place, so different from where she was raised. Though mostly she was miffed that she was still alive, she had been looking forwards to the divine paradise that Yakun was to have delivered her soul in exchange for the use of her body. Still, at least he was real and she only had to follow his instructions from there to have a chance at getting what she really wanted.
