Atalan's attacks were once more shunted into the earth in a most unsatisfactory manner. He had been considering other tactics to his path to power... after this fight might be the time to start exploring them. He once again called upon his power to speed himself up, narrowly avoiding the sizzling power coming from Luther. He felt some little frustration that hist attacks had been shrugged off so easily... but he didn't think he had the reserves remaining to call upon his spells any longer. He drew in enough power for a few more blasts and casually threw the first crimson bar at the man's chest much like the ones before it... the second he shaped into a wicked spike as he started to run around his foe and leaped into the air, shooting it down towards the rapper's leg, seeking to take him off his feet and pierce through his stout defenses at last... He landed with a grunt and a cloud of dust whirled up around him, obscuring him from view momentarily. Narrowly avoiding the burst of energy sent his way, the baron responded with a burst of his own. The energy flew quickly towards the big man's chest, and Luther could do nothing about it, other than quickly raise his arms to minimize the sudden surges of pain. The contact made between Luther's forearms and The baron's energy blast caused a tiny explosion, stunning the rapper for a few precious moments. Once he wasn't rendered immobile, Luther searched around for Atalan, finding him a little to his right, firing off a much more dangerous looking attack directed towards his leg. The impact of the ki forced Luther down to one knee, and drained even more of his energy. His anger rose suddenly, and he released his fury in the form of a shout. "That is it! I've had it with you and your fancy techniques!"For the umpteenth time, Luther procured an orb of crimson energy in his palm. He tossed it with all of his strength, and tossed another for good measure. "Step off already!"The rap star's eyes glared daggers at the demon Atalan, filled with hatred. He finally recalled the destruction of his car, and let that memory fuel his strength. Now, however, he was almost completely drained of his remaining energy. If he wanted to get his vehicle replaced, he'll have to persevere.

Atalan felt a burst of satisfaction as his attacks finally seemed to be having an effect on the brute he was facing. With Luther down on one knee, looking at him with hatred in his eyes... it was almost like being back home. Now was not the time to indulge in nostalgia, however; his opponent apparently still had some defiance left in him. The fiery orbs started forming again and with an unadulterated look of hatred at Atalan, his opponent launched the first. Atalan sidestepped to the left and was met with the sight of the second ball almost upon him. He quickly sketched three red glyphs into the air that joined and expanded around him to form a shield; the ball of fiery ki impacted the shield and shattered it with a cracking sound. Fortunately, the power of what was left over was barely enough to send him back half a step. Atalan's pool of power was running quite low... but this was the most fun he had enjoyed in some time and this brute had no idea how dry his well was running. He casually started walking around him once more and called out, "That is a fine, strong well of anger and hatred, young man. It would serve you quite well in my homeland. Maybe we can talk about some potential opportunities after this if you of a mind." He fired another bolt of crimson energy at Luther's gut, barely bothering to aim it as he flicked it forth with his fingers. He strode around a few more steps and raised his left hand and fired another corkscrewing energy bolt at Luther's chest before lowering it and wiping a thin sheen of sweat from his forehead... Go down you brute... I can't keep this up much longer, damn your hide...

Shit! Did I just.... lose!? That doesn't make sense!Alas, it did. Luther's attacks barely struck home, while his opponent's bolts of energy hit him hard. The first burst of energy charged towards his stomach, forcing Luther to dive low and raise his arms defensively, softening the impact of burning ki and himself as much as he possibly could. The second hit him square in the chest, and once that happened, both of the combatants could tell that the fight had finally come to a complete halt. Luther dropped to the ground, literally falling on his ass, and skidded wildly on the dirty ground. He crashed into his broken vehicle, with his back leaning against it. His eyebrows were furrowed, and his teeth were grit. Regrettably, he let his anger and pain decide what words came out of his mouth next. "S-shit.... if you think that this is over, you're dead wrong."He tried to pick himself up, but stumbled and ended up sitting on the dirt again. "I might not be ready now, but just you wait. You and your sorry ass is gonna be nothing but bloody paste by the time I get back up!"His eyes widened with anger as he spoke to the baron, knowing that he probably wouldn't be going anywhere anytime soon. The cumulative damage he'd taken had caused him too much pain. He simply couldn't stand up anymore. His ki generator seemed to have unfortunately conked out. Looks like he'll have some work to do pretty soon.....

Atalan lowered his hand and let his power dissipate as the rapper crashed against the side of his car and couldn't get up. He grinned and released his hold on his power as he started strolling over to the downed man. I like him humbled, I must admit... but he was quite strong. I should try to forge a small tie... maybe I can use him later. He stopped a few feet away from his defeated opponent and just stared at him with his golden eyes for a few moments before turning back to the car. He reached into the breast pocket of his shirt and pulled out a cell phone and dialed a number, "Yes, I have a car I need to have towed and repaired..." He concisely gave the information for picking up the car and the payment info, then hung up and turned to Luther.
"Well, Luther, I must admit you were quite an opponent. I have arranged to have your car repaired, in the hopes that there will be no further... hard feelings between us." He reached up and snapped his fingers, summoning a standard sized business card... one had to have mortal tools in a mortal world sometimes. He reached down and placed it behind the one intact windshield wiper on the car, "Here is my card. Feel free to call on me sometime... I have work for people like you my new friend. Work for people who can step up and take what they want and have the power to do so. Feel free to contact me some time."
Turning, Atalan left the man to make his way home with his car, feeling lighter of heart than he had since he had arrived in this place. Nothing like a good throw down to lighten the mood. Especially if you managed to win.
