Appearance: Raijin stands at a less than dominating 5`9 with a somewhat slim but well toned frame. It generally makes her look rather fragile at first glance when fully clothed. Her black hair reaches down to her waist and is barely kept in place with a subtle headband. The fringe of which is kept short to keep it out of her eyes. Said eyes are a Sapphire Blue and glow when Raijin is excited. Clothing wise, she tends to wear reasonably formal wear, shirt bow and a skirt being the attire of choice, though usually only in black and white and of a rather cheap variety. Underneath the layers are a tight fitting vest and a pair of shorts for when her outer layers normally get destroyed by a scrap.
Personality: Raijin is something of a wild one, feeling confident in whatever she does to something of an extreme. She enjoys drinking, fighting and meeting friends. She is quite a bouncy and chaotic entity never really wanting to sit entirely still and always looking for something fun to do. Often she tries to boast about her feats of strength and glory. Even if they are exaggerated to high heaven and a little faked at times, though she does enjoy hearing of others feats of prowess and skill, often finding it necessary to supply these people with alcohol to keep the story going.
History:Raijin started life on Earth with a mother that died during childbirth and a father that went unknown to her for many years. As a child she was a little different among the orphanage, not just because she randomly gave off little sparks and was capable of lifting items of furniture and hurling them across the room when she was annoyed. She was adopted and quickly dropped back off several times during her stay at the orphanage, not least of which because of the visitor that kept turning up claiming to be her father would cause the friendly adoptees to freak out, especially when he would inform the poor folk that the child they had adopted was the descendant of Annin the guardian of the sacred Furnace of Eight Divisions and therefore a literal goddess that they should be worshipping instead of trying to discipline.
She turned into a bit of a strange teenager, figuring out some control over the gift that had been bestowed onto her via her odd parentage and made a few attempts at turning that power into a means of survival. She took to listening to a police radio and intervening in the crimes that were close by, finding it rather easy to beat down on casual thugs and idiots though there were a few close scrapes with folk of actual power compared to herself. She wasn’t the type to let something as simple as being beaten into the dirt stop her and with every scrap she knew she would only get stronger. She’d been convinced by her probably father that she was a demi-god after all. It was only a matter of time until she became stronger than all these mortals.
As she drifts into adulthood, Raijin struggles to find her place within the World, her “divinity” was still manifesting itself and she knew herself to be stronger than average yet there were so many mortals that could put her through the ground in one way or another. Though she works quite the humble little job to make ends meet she spends any and all of her free time looking for the next big thing to do. Or even just a fun crowd to hang with and push the limits of what a fledgling deity can do. Having at least figured out that the more she pushed herself the more she seemed to discover about her powers.

Half the names on the list had already been crossed off. Raijin was starting to get annoyed, how hard could it be for her to actually get someone that was willing to accept what she was and that she just wanted to make some easy cash by doing menial tasks. It'd start out well enough with her going to the interviews and introducing herself. Then when she was asked to talk a little about herself she'd go into depth about her deific heritage and her time helping the police with the petty crimes and they'd suddenly get really nervous, thank her for her time and then never contact her again.
You'd think that any company would be pleased as punch with having a deity on staff, but apparently not! It was almost like they thought she was crazy or something. Though she'd quickly learned not to demonstrate her powers in front of the people she had decided to term as normies at any rate since they just didn't seem to get it. Either called it some kind of trick or worse believed her and ran off in a panic that she was going to attack them or something. It was really just unfair.
Still, she was nothing if not determined to see this through to the end, the lovely folk at the orphanage had given her this list of companies with which to look into and who might be willing to actually hire her. This was her chance to prove that she was capable of maintaining a more normal life. It was something that she wasn't entirely capable of it seemed, her various adopted parents returning her so quickly only attested to that problem, though that might have been due to the showing appearances of what claimed to be her father.
Still, it was nice that she was being given these interviews. Despite them all going so badly, clearly someone had pulled some strings back home to get them for her. So she was going to try her best to succeed at at least one of them. If a demi-god like herself couldn’t manage to handle a simple mortal task like this, what chance did she really have at performing great heroic deeds? Squaring her shoulders, she stepped through the doorway of the local k-mart only to see something rather surprising taking place. Someone had taken a gun to the clerk behind the counter. She smiled as her arrival caused the man to swing the gun to her and scream that she should get on the ground. Her eyes started to flicker and glow blue as her power rose. Today was going to be a fun day after all.
