Appearance:
Personality: As might be expected of a descendant of Son Goku, Mochi is a generally pleasant mannered girl with a usually cheerful and somewhat carefree disposition. It goes without saying that she's fiercely loyal to her friends and intolerant of the people who cause them harm as well as those who would set their sights upon the defenseless. She wouldn't personally describe herself as a 'hero' as such, but she definitely doesn't like seeing people close to her getting hurt and doesn't think the best of those who use their power to harm those weaker than them.
Mochi is also the owner of a seemingly unquenchable thirst for adventure and excitement and much like her ancestor Son Goku, she's never one to turn down a good fight and is perhaps a bit too quick to take other people's word at face value, which makes her a prime target for the more manipulative villainous sorts. It's also worth mentioning that the young hybrid has a penchant for having a bit of a sharp tongue, quick to make teasing quips that can dig deeper than she intends them to among friends and towards her enemies, her smart mouth can land her in a spot of trouble, but no matter what kind of trouble that lands her in, she'll never stop speaking her mind.
History: Several centuries following Goku Jr and Vegeta Jr's clash on the stage of the Martial Arts World Tournament, the Son Family still continues. Mochi is yet another descendant of the great Son Goku, but instead of her parents deciding to move back into the country to revisit the small cottage in the mountains, they stayed in the city to raise their daughter. Energetic from birth, it was her father's decision that she study some degree of martial arts and participate in the tournaments, not only for the prize money but for the invaluable experience of testing her mettle against other fighters from all across the globe.
As the years passed and Mochi grew into a spunky young lady with a knack for finding troubles in her adventures across the city, her parents decided it would be prudent to have her enrolled in the nearest high school and with her mother's gradual decline in health over the years, organizing her to succeed her mother for the dojo that her ancestor, Pan, had established so long ago. Much to the dismay of her father, Mochi inherited a great deal from Pan; not just her looks, but her tendency for running her mouth, especially when the usual high school bullies or other unsavory types were involved, as well as the tendency to 'volunteer' her services to the local police force with heavily armed bank robbers.
RP Sample: The dark haired girl was still pretty bad at covering up her giggles, but somehow managed to stifle them long enough to get out a small compliment, "That certainly explains the apron. Your friend, was she pretty?" she asked, taking a bit to realise that she might have been prying into a sensitive matter and she quickly diverted into a different topic, turning her attention back down towards the canine whose name she learned was 'Fang'. "I guess that makes this guy the only family you have?" she continued the attention she had given to the pup previously, obviously someone who had a good relationship with animals.
"I feel kind of lost without my hairband," she filled in what would otherwise be an awkward silence with speaking about her fashion preferences, making her way over to the table and collecting it, sliding it on to create a layered effect to her hair. She appreciated the work he had done on her gloves equally as so, pulling them onto her hands, her dainty fingers poking through the holes meant for her fingers. After a bit of wriggling, she decided they were on right and promptly did up the strap at the base of her wrist, it was only after the inspection that all was right that she flopped down on presumably the sofa to prepare for dinner.
"I'll take some orange juice if you've got that in the fridge, or something," she was in need of the food and the drinks, but while she was leaving the preparation of those things to him, she turned her attention from the dog to the odd device on her right arm, flipping a panel up on it to try punching in a few buttons and as expected, nothing happened. It still wasn't working as much more than a glorified GPS device. "Do you think we'll be able to send the bad guys packing?" she asked all of a sudden, flipping the panel to her wrist-mounted device down, the concern ripe in her voice. "I'm kind of here under my own steam, so I'm a bit worried I might do something that'll affect the way history plays out; some of us aren't even supposed to be here in this time." she leaned her had back against the back of the sofa, peering up at the ceiling of the white haired cyborg's mansion.
She couldn't help but think about the 'what ifs'. What if they didn't succeed? She'd heard plenty about the world after death from her Grandfather back in her own world line - about the North Kai and the rest of it. Of course, she knew that the conflicts the Earth was facing at this particular time were just the tip of the iceberg. There were forces that hailed form the afterlife that saw fit to interject themselves into the course of history and alter it to suit their own needs.
It seemed that the usual set of troublemakers from the demon realm were still holed up in that literal hell hole in this timeline, which was a thought of comfort for the young quarter Saiyan, but she was a bit weary of getting into those details with someone she'd more or less just met and completed a series of tasks with - much less someone who had no concept of 'life after death'.
