Name: Cayle Pota
Species: Saiyan
Age: 19 (Biologically), 800+ (Chronologically)
Gender: Male
Appearance: Cayle Pota is a tall, broad shouldered Saiyan with pale skin and short cropped, slightly spiked dark brown hair. His eyes are an icy blue tint, and most prominently visible outside of that is a jagged scar on his left cheek. The Saiyan wears a patchwork of clothes which he found on a long dead corpse in the facility he woke up in, a long coat, a scar, boots, gloves, pants, and the beginnings of a gi. His body beneath these clothes are covered here and there with scars from his being experimented upon by the Tuffle Science Executive. Despite that, his wide smile is often easily visible, and his expression is typically one of a friendly person, not that of an easily angered menace.
Personality: Cayle is a friendly and easy-going Saiyan who has none of the characteristic blood thirstiness of his species in the common setting. The dark brown haired young man is none the less prone to quick anger, sometimes stubborn, and generally focused on his self-given mission of finding as many other former Tuffle-Experiment Saiyans as possible. If no one else helps them he will.
Motivations: Cayle's primary motivations are to find his family, find those responsible for his imprisonment, and to free his fellow Saiyans. While not considering himself a great hero, the fact that he remembers what happened to him and has awoken in this alien place has made him feel even more that he should go out of his way to help the others, especially his sister and brother, Cassa and Okhoy, and his friends Daiko and Ginge, because anything else would be simply callous.
His reasoning for finding those who are responsible is less about some driving need for revenge and instead about the need to find clues on where the others might be.
Bonds: His brother and sister – He cares a lot about them, though he is not sure if his parents are alive, he feels a familial obligation to find his siblings and care for them the best he can, despite the events that caused their capture.
His friends Daiko, Ginge, and Konja are likewise people he wants nothing more than to reconnect with and look out for, and because of this he wants to become stronger.
Dr. Rebri he remembers firmly from the mean Tuffle scientist studying him, and he detests the man, wanting nothing more than beat him to a pulp, though he does not necessarily want to kill him.
History: The earliest thing that Kayle can remember clearly was being brought to the planet Aspic from his home on Vegeta. There he was in and out of sleep as the man he remembered being called Dr. Rebri performed tests on himself and the other Saiyans who had been brought to this somewhat hostile new planet by the Tuffle scientists under Dr. Rebri.
He could never actually figure out how many had been there, or remember the number of tests they performed on him, but the Saiyan remembers a haze of being awoken, fed, tested on a number of things, having his blood tested and hair collected and then put through a series of horrific tests. In that haze his early childhood and time spent with friends like Endive and Pinach, or hanging around his brother Daiko and sister Ginge seemed to pass by, and the scientists seemed to get older, the tests more brutal.
Then the tests stopped, and he finally started to remember more than a haze, as he slept and he dreamed. He had been a member of a somewhat rural village of Saiyans who had settled on the Planet they called Vegeta. His family and neighbors traded with the Tuffles in addition to their fellow Saiyans, and he even had the pleasure of generally knowing his father as that man taught his son what it meant to be a warrior and a farmer.
It was on one of the nights that the warriors of the village were all gone on missions or simply on business to the Capital City that those Tuffles they called friends came to town in what at first seemed like trade, but soon followed in an explosion of violence. Apparently war had sparked in other parts of the world, and these Tuffles knew it. They kidnapped nearly half of the village, and did the same in other villages and towns elsewhere on Planet Vegeta, killing those Saiyans that they did not capture and ship off planet for their tests.
The painful tests had left scars upon his body and his mind, and as the stasis pod allowed him to heal but stopped him from aging, the war that many of the Tuffles were trying to win became irrelevant, this rogue branch of Tuffles had become what amounted to an endangered species and their plan to figure out how to either brainwash their captives or genetically engineer biological constructs to fight the Saiyans on more equal terms, it had become irrelevant. The group began to split up in the case the Saiyans finally found them and their particular experiments, and then many of them went into stasis as well.
Hundreds and hundreds of years passed, and the Saiyan Kingdom was formed, Conquered by the Freiza Force, and eventually destroyed. Time rolled on and on for years as the massive power generators of the stasis pods began to finally run out of power as their inhabitants continued their sleep.
RP Sample: It was nothing new, this attempt at further psychological warfare and trying to goad out a response of righteous anger from Clayle. The Tuffle Science Commission had done that sort of thing to Kayle and the other test subjects with out fail in the centuries before. The words now did not set off Cayle, even as the klaxons began he began to trudge further into the bunker. His mind was filled with a simple thought, no group which had given up on survival and went headlong into a nihilist attitude would have put this much effort in defending a place they now felt on destroying the setup.
Without a moment's hesitation, he traveled through the last hallways of the facility and stopped to let himself catch his breath before opening the last door and slowly beginning to trudge forward. While he would definitely stop to look around, and see a singular stasis tube and still functioning computer systems he did not let himself get psyched out by it.
What was this figured hidden in silhouette of the iced tube? Who could it possibly be? Was it another of his people? A different test subject, or a powerful weapon? He could not be sure, but if it, or based on what he could see of the figure, she, was in danger could he really be just risk it?
He walked to the console and hit the release buttons, as opposed simply smashing the console, and turned towards the tube, crossing his arms and walking close enough to help the figure when they fell forward as they inevitably would.
