As a whole, Capsule Corporation was quite invested in the continued well-being of the planet Earth- even despite their rampant profiteering off of… just about anything that one could imagine. Mega-corporation or otherwise, those that headed Capsule Corp’s divisions more or less unanimously agreed that without a planet to do business on, profits could not be ensured. Tap Brief was no exception to this, particularly as the head of the Wellness department’s marketing arm. It was her singular goal in that position to ensure that the Wellness department continued to be seen by the public as an entity that cared greatly for their health and happiness, which in turn reflected quite well on the rest of Capsule Corporation. This included seeing to issues that were normally outside of her department’s specialities- such as the dwindling nature of fossil fuels and the steady shift toward more infinite sources of energy. Of course, Capsule Corporation’s partnership with Gero Enterprises saw to it that they produced personal generators that could keep a single home in power for countless years without needing a drop of oil- but those generators were based on the same devices that powered Infinite Core-type androids and were unfeasibly to be implemented on a large scale. Many of them could be chained together to provide power for a single building, as Capsule Corp’s engineers had been working on in the previous handful of months, but even that had a certain limit to it. Something about their function prevented too many from being drawn from simultaneously, otherwise they risked surging and producing effects similar to a lightning strike to all devices accessing that power source at the time of the surge. So, they were left looking to more large-scale operations for power generation on any scale beyond private use. This certainly included geothermal and hydroelectric sources- in particular, the latter. Tap had been dispatched to oversee the progress of a particular dam located to the south of West City; it was an exceptionally large undertaking, even for Capsule Corporation, but the nature of her visit was more or less lip service. Capsule Corp engineers and their hired help were typically of the highest quality, meaning that progress was charging forward at a steady pace-- just one that happened to have a timetable long enough that executives occasionally were sent to check in. On this specific trip, she had opted to bring along her newly hired personal engineer, Malina, to both help her get a better understanding for the scale of Capsule Corp’s hands-on projects and to potentially see if she could spot anything going awry that Tap’s comparatively untrained eyes could not. The pair of women were flying in fast, huddled together inside one of Capsule Corp’s executive helicopters. Though the dam was accessible by road, the entrance path had not yet been paved and remained long and quite uncomfortable to ride up. Tap, naturally, would not stand for such discomforts if a more convenient option was available. They each had been given a pilot’s helmet equipped with a microphone on a semi-closed circuit, meaning that they could talk freely to one another but were wholly in control of whether or not the pilots heard their particular chatter. Tap had been mostly silent over the course of the trip, but grew more obviously eager as they soared over mountain and river alike, slowly inching forward toward the edge of her seat. Once the final pass had been cleared and the complete side of the dam came into sight, Tap pointed excitedly out the helicopter’s window, expecting Malina to look at it with similar jubilation. “ Look, look! There’s the first wall- the completed one! There’s three different structures set up along this river if my understanding’s right, and we’re going to visit the middle one-- the largest one!” her understanding was… right, but very rudimentary. Malina, who had likely taken a greater interest in the structure’s intended function, would probably know more of the technical details regarding it. If she did, she would know that the farthest wall was used to be something of a surge control to help regulate floodwaters and prevent the large hydroelectric generator in the middle(and largest) dam from being overloaded by unexpected weather conditions. It was still an experimental model and while they were confident in it being able to handle most floods effectively, there was no feasible way to actually test its full capacity and had opted on the side of safety. It was, after all, a rather expensive investment. The closest dam, the one they were passing over at that moment, was fairly small compared to the other two and was primarily designed to serve as a failsafe in case of catastrophic failure in the other two sections. It clearly would not hold massive floods at bay for too terribly long, but was designed to slow flood passage enough to safely evacuate the settlements further down this particular river. wc: 829 twc: 829 SadistSquirrel

“ Miss Brief, it’s a dam. I’ve seen a dam before…” She muttered, having awkwardly pulled out the brand new laptop she’d had hoisted onto her at Tap’s ‘request’... in a way she missed the old block she used to use… and it’d been a hard time to bring a hammer to it while Tap watched, only to then bury it with salt and garlic. Something about ‘not allowing it to rise once more’ or some similar thing. The helicopter ride was smooth enough for her to work, but Tap having lifted herself out of the seat left her arm space… something to be desired, especially with the heiress derriere threatening to KO her against the side of the helicopter at any moment. Her laptop gave a quiet ‘bwoop’ as she closed it down and tucked it into her back, shuffling up onto her feet and peering around the model at the dam. As they passed over the first wall, she couldn’t help but point things out and comment. “ This is probably the least important one but the most vital, Miss Brief! We’ll be going to the main dam in the middle, it’s where all the power will be coming from and if we’re lucky they’ll have everything in order. If not… well, you’re the boss Miss Brief.” She gave an idle shrug as the helicopter swung over the first dam and hurtled along its way towards the second. Out in the distance the construction work on the third seemed well under way as well, it seemed to be going smoothly for once. Malina pointed it out but didn’t have too much to say, instead looking to Tap and posing a quick question. “ When we set down, what’s the plans looking like Miss Brief? If you’re going to any more business oriented meetings, might be worth letting me take a walk around… see if anything doesn’t stick out to me is all. I’ve been looking at the intended design and doing a little research… I’m no hydro engineer of course but on a project this big small things sneak under the radar all the time.” She mused to herself for a moment, while she’d prefer to be back in her workshop working on the finalised designs for Tap’s engine… getting out may end up being a good experience overall. Since moving in it’d been nothing but rushing around and being able to let her hair down and get into something far less active was starting to sound more and more wonderful. Perhaps one day she’d even spend a day actually resting. Maybe. Either way, she was pretty sure she knew somebody working contract work on these dams… wouldn’t be too hard to find, might give her some insight into some potential issues to investigate. It isn’t uncommon for these problems to crop up and get reported, only for pure bureaucracy to prevent anything ever actually getting done about it. Malina was torn out of her thoughts by the helicopter slowing down and drifting as they moved to land near the second dam… while landing on it would’ve been quicker, a designated space for the helicopter to land was hardly a priority in construction. A small meeting party had assembled already outside; a bespectacled older man in a suit that seemed just a little too tight around the waist and arms was at the forefront, he sported a stubbly (if well-groomed) beard and an entirely bald head and overall seemed less comfortable in the suit than he was willing to let on. As they came down to land, and the co-pilot opened the door for Miss Brief he was quick to call out. “Ah, Miss Brief! Y’ve finally arrived. We’re awfully glad to have somebody as high and mighty as y’self here to inspect our work. Name’s Fancod, Alan Fancod… while w’s more than happy to start the tour now, I reckon you probably want a moment’s rest after y’flight.” It was pretty immediately clear that Mister Fancod was a man who had risen above his origins, a man who’d worked in the field and now sat at the head of a large project for an even larger corporation.

“ Damn right, I’m the boss!” Tap echoed happily as she sank back into her seat and crossed her arms smugly over her bust, appearing quite pleased with herself. After all, she was Tap fucking Brief- why wouldn’t she be pleased with herself? Regardless of her name and status, the woman’s eyes again lit up with delight when Malina asked about what she, or they, would be doing for this trip. To answer, Tap bent down and pulled a suitcase from beneath her seat. When she opened it up, she turned the container to Malina and revealed a pair of clipboards with official looking checklists and write-your-own-words sections alongside clearly expensive pens. Closer inspection of the documents would reveal, however, that they were entirely gibberish. “ I’m glad you asked, my dear Malina! Capsule Corp has full confidence that this project is proceeding according to schedule and without significant incident, so this visit is more or less a moral trip. See, we’re going to walk around and pretend to check things off or make notes on these clipboards. If someone is working hard, we’ll look happy with them-- if someone appears to be slacking, we’ll look a bit cross and fill out some nonsense on the clipboard. It’s all theater to encourage them to keep working hard!” the whole scheme was a bit underhanded, but ultimately innocuous-- Tap likely wouldn’t even be reading name tags to write down anyone for scolding if they actually were slacking off. Psychology was the name of the game! Once the pair landed, Tap shoved a clipboard and pen into Malina’s hands, took up her own, and waited for the door to open. Naturally, she paid little attention to what the pilot had said after the door was open and all but sprang out of her seat, landing gracefully on the concrete outside. Tap took a moment to stretch herself out, then immediately set about looking over each of her welcoming party. It was… satisfactory- and so she smiled, then scribbled something down on her clipboard. “ Yes, yes, we’re all very lucky to have me. Come, Malina! We’ve an inspection to do!” wc: 373 twc: 1202 SadistSquirrel

Malina seemed a bit bewildered to have a pen and a clipboard shoved into her hands, before sighing and stepping out behind Tap. She couldn’t remember the last time she’d bothered to actually write something down, but oh well! As Tap seemed eager to start, she looked to Mister Fancod with a small shrug. “ Think that means no, sir. Miss Brief seems quite eager to start, it’s all very important after all.” She gives a knowing little smile before turning to her clipboard, immediately segmenting off sections of it. One bit for pointless gibberish… and the rest for an assortment of spitballing ideas of her own! If she was going to be writing down nonsense, she may as well take the time to write something down of use. Efficiency and all that guff! “ Ah yes well… right this way then Miss Brief!” He gestured towards the entrance into the interior of the dam itself, where it seemed most of the work was still underway. Descending into the dam wasn’t too bad, thankfully steps were constructed and in use rather than ladders, but it was definitely still under construction… the sound of clanking, hissing and banging echoing around. This ‘entrance’ area for lack of a better word seemed to be in a well-kept state, no doubt having been cleaned up a little in preparation for the important guest. “ If it’d please you t’walk around up here for now, that would be wonderful. We’ve got somebody coming up from the lower levels t’show y’s around but he’s runnin’ a touch late unfortunately.” The man seemed… apologetic but it was clear he didn’t consider the small delay an issue. At this time, another person came running up… talking in hushed tones with Alan Fancod… he seemed less than happy with the news, before chiming up. “ Somethin’s come up, nothing serious but it’s gonna pull me aways for a bit. When y’guide turns up don’t bother waitin’ for me none.” He seemed a friendly enough fellow, but at this point it seemed his exit was being made. He gave a quick gesture to a nearby room. “ Feel free t’wait in my office.” Before he rushed downstairs. “Certainly didn’t leave us much time to talk, huh?” Malina gave a quiet hum, before peering up at Tap with a look that seemed to predict mischief. “I assume we aren’t waiting, Miss Brief? You seem in a particularly buoyant mood today, so I doubt ‘waiting around’ is in your timetable.” The Tuffle couldn’t help but give a conspiratorial smile.

That conversation that had drawn Mr. Fancod away was just hushed enough that Tap was unable to make out anything significant being said. She could, however, read the mood well enough to know that whatever was happening… she wasn’t supposed to see it. After all, everything was going according to plan, right? Capsule Corp’s projects never hit any significant speed bumps…. Right? If publicity worked on denial alone, the whole world would have precisely nothing bad to say about Capsule Corporation. Really, if they wanted to keep using dynocaps at those hilariously economic prices… they’d say nothing bad anyways. Regardless! “ Perceptive girl, you are! If I had a mind to wait around on goons who didn’t want me to see something, I’d spend my days in my father’s building, trying to see what crazy new tech he was failing to develop completely that day. But…” Tap trailed off and furrowed her brow, turning then to directly meet Malina’s gaze. She took a step forward and extended her non-clipboard carrying hand to solemnly wrap her fingers around her engineer’s shoulder. Whatever she was about to say was quite serious- so much so that Tap apparently felt the need to extend her show of dramatic silence for a few seconds too long. When she did finally break the silence, the question that came quietly from her glossed lips was... … pretty uneventful, honestly. “ Malina-- what do you know about my family? Aside from the fact that we probably make up four of the ten most wealthy people on the planet and are generally better than our supposed competitor dynasties in every perceivable way. I mean, do you know anything about our history? How should I put this… about what we are capable of?” wc: 303 twc: 1505 SadistSquirrel

Malina gave a small acknowledging chuckle as Tap went on and seemed more than ready to rush off to whatever trouble they were going to get up to. “ Well, for both our sakes I suppose it's a good thing you don’t!” It was about that time she realised Tap had hung on the but, staring her down… Malina looked like a deer in headlights, wide-eyed as she tried to think of what she said wrong. Her clipboard clung tightly to her chest as Tap settled a hand on her shoulder. The moment dragged on longer than even she expected, but probably longer for Malina than it actually did. “ Um…” She murmured, only to immediately get cut off as Tap actually started talking! She listened intently, aware she was being asked a serious question… or at least a question she was going to take seriously. For a moment it seemed that Malina didn’t really know what to say, but Tap may’ve been able to recognise something else in her expression. She was gauging her answer. “Welllll… I don’t know very much about it, in truth. Of course I know a little more now, and you keep talking about how ahhh… durable you are and such. When we met? So assumedly you’re meaning that. If you ask me about Capsule Corp I can probably ask more but I assume you mean more that ahh… Brief Family. I don’t necessarily know what is and isn’t true sometimes! Didn’t really uh… grow up with the information.” She gave a quiet cough, her clipboard wasn’t quite lifted over her face but it was certainly much higher than it needed to be. She looked like a meek sheep as she lifted a hand and pushed her glasses up her nose nervously.

Tap’s lips pursed. She had expected the rumors around her family’s origins to be a bit more… exciting than something that she had perpetuated herself. It was no lie that she was exceptionally durable, but her lineage made her far more than durable-- faster, stronger, and… there was the matter of that troublesome tail, though that was a story for another time if at all. “ That’s not even really doing it justice. See, there was… a very powerful man in my family’s history, and we all have more or less been enhanced by his blood. Moreover, there’s a certain sort of person that my family makes it a priority to, well, produce offspring with. I think I should demonstrate, wait here--” Tap interrupted herself and jogged down a short hallway to find the nearest guard’s office. She was gone for perhaps two minutes before returning with… a pistol in hand. Once she was again standing before Malina, she made a show of turning the gun’s safety off, then thrust it toward the engineer. “ I expect you know how to use one of these, at least in theory. Aim and pull the trigger, easy breezy. Now, take this, take a few steps back, and shoot me,” Tap was smiling after her command as though it were an entirely reasonable thing to say. Before Malina could interject, at least initially, the heiress shook her head and added, “ Yes, I’m sure. No, you won’t kill me. Trust that I’m not a suicidal maniac and just do it.” wc: 272 twc: 1777 SadistSquirrel

Noticing the pursing of Tap's lips, Malina worried she'd said something wrong... it was clear on her face at least. She at the very least listened intently as Tap continued, as eagerly hanging on her words as she’d ever been, tilting her head with a small curiosity at what she was saying. “ Right, right… o-oh, okay! I’ll just wait here.” And Tap was gone. Malina frowned as she pattered her fingers against her clipboard… this wasn’t a good conversation for her to be in, she knew that. But she didn’t know how to exactly get out out of it! She shook her head as her fingers went from an idle tiptap to a nervous drumming… that ceased the moment Tap came back into view. “ Ah! Miss Brief! Y-You have a gun. D-didn’t realise my contract was going that poorly.” She gave a shaky little laugh, only to have the thing thrusted towards her… she recoiled, obviously before setting the clipboard aside and frowning as she held the pistol carefully and safely… surprisingly safely actually, fingers entirely free of the trigger and one hand under the grip to brace it. “ A-And why are you givin-- Miss Bri--” Poor Malina could barely get a word in, straight up pouting as the heiress continued… by the time she was able to talk the Tuffle could only give a long sigh. “ This was definitely not in my contract! Just once I want things to go smoothly…” She frowned, before nodding. “ Alright. I trust you.” At the end of the day, it wouldn’t be the first overpowering force she’d fled from, if things turned sour. The pistol was raised smoothly as she braced herself… gave a quick mag check and sighed, her index finger finally slipping into the trigger guard and giving a smooth practiced pull. She wasn’t about to pretend she had less experience with a firearm than she did… she’d just have to explain it. Somehow. The thoughts filtered through her mind as the firearm went off, the sound rattling through the dam… surprisingly not completely drowned out by the work going on.

Fortunately for Malina, Tap couldn’t have cared less about how or why the girl knew how to use a gun properly. It was a common enough device that she expected everyone to at least have some idea about how to fire a weapon, and an engineer in particular was expected to have some shreds of knowledge about the mechanics of such a device. Rather than focusing on that, Tap was occupied with considerations about how she should properly demonstrate her abilities. There was always the possibility of letting the bullet simply hit her and bounce harmlessly off, but… that ran the risk of ricochets and bits of shrapnel tearing off of the bullet tip on contact. If she was unlucky enough, the bullet could bounce back and injure Malina, to say nothing for the potential damage that could be done to any unsuspecting worker down below unfortunate enough to be caught in the line of fire. So… that left her with only one reasonable course of action! Once Malina pulled the trigger, Tap’s hand jerked up in front of her torso with enough speed that the motion might have gone entirely unnoticed to a lesser trained eye, save for the fact that its location had changed. While the gunshot echoed through the dam, Tap remained perfectly motionless with her hand in front of her chest, fingers closed around something-- they both knew what, however. She smiled and extended her hand toward Malina, opening it palm side up to reveal the bullet’s head resting gently inside her palm. It even appeared to have minimal damage done to it, save for a flattened head where it first made contact with her hand. Tap turned her hand slowly and let the bullet clatter harmlessly onto the ground. “ See? I’m quite exceptional- more than just my beautiful face, I mean. That’s why I wasn’t really worried when the bike jerked the other day-- I was actually ready to grab you and jump off before we crashed. I would have been fine if we did, but it would have been quite improper for me to have simply let you get hurt. Now…” she paused and turned, moving her hands behind her back at hip-level to point up toward her shoulders, “ Climb up. We’re going to go for a little run and see just what all that fuss earlier was about.” wc: 407 twc: 2184 SadistSquirrel

The engineer flinched as she saw Tap’s hand settle in front of her chest… only to realise she was holding something not grasping something. With a horrified shudder she flicked the safety off and set about making the pistol not a concern (for her at least), dropping the mag into her hand and racking the slide… the newly chambered round popping out and clattering on the floor… which she was quick to kneel down and pick up with a small frown. “ I’m uhhh… quite impressed, Miss Brief. Although hopefully this is the last time you ask me to shoot you?” It took her a moment to breathe, before she gave a soft smile. “ Well… thank you for wanting to catch me. Luckily it didn’t come to that… Uhhh… Miss Brief?” She seemed confused for a moment… before finally catching on and giving a quiet chuckle. “ Miss Brief, I’m really not sure running around with your assistant clinging to your back inspires the respect you deserve. Although it may increase morale.” But, she knew better than to deny Tap at this point… even at her most eccentric as she moved over slowly, cautiously setting her feet in Tap’s palms as she hoisted herself up with a sigh… looking a little imbalanced as her hands clung tightly to the model’s shoulders. “ J-Just be careful okay! And… and please don’t drop me…” She gave a loud gulp, looking down from half a feet higher than she was used to, if not a little bit more. She wasn’t built for falling. But, they would inevitably head off… perhaps in time finding their way to one A. Fancod. He spied them almost immediately, eyebrows raised at the sight. “ Ah, not one for waitin’ around I takes it Miss Brief? Well, since y’s down here I guess I should explain. We’ve been havin’ some trouble with ahh… birds.” At exactly that moment, bird’s cry could be heard rattling through some of the nearby pipes. “ Don’t know how the buggers got in ‘ere none, but they’ve managed t’figure their way into the pipes, sittin’ up in the tub pretty with a nest. Push comes t’shove we’ll flush the buggers out but right now ain’t much we can do. S’a lark more than anythin’, but we keep hoping they’ll find their way out on their own time. Else… well, else ain’t gonna be pretty.” Malina seemed thoughtful for a moment, before she spoke from her position at Tap’s back. “ Have you tried using a net?” Alan seemed annoyed for a moment at the stupid question, before clearly pondering the answer. Simple problem may’ve just needed a simple answer. Although it was hardly the largest concern, they’d simply been working around up till now. wc: 455 twc: 2,219

Tap frowned quite deeply when she felt the engineer’s shoes fill her palms instead of… well, anything more pleasant. Had this scatterbrained girl never been given a piggyback ride before? Hell- Tap could remember demanding these sorts of rides from her father all the time when she was little… and sometimes when she was big, because walking places was hard and why would you walk when your darling father could carry you? Nevermind all that- there was a plan for everything! Tap quickly shifted her hands to seize the tuffle’s ankles, then pulled her legs tightly around her waist, until she was pressed snug against the heiress’s back. Confident that the girl would know how to hold herself there, Tap’s hands slid deftly along the length of Malina’s legs and settled quite happily on her bottom. There might have even been a squeeze or two-- but who was going to complain about something like that when those very same hands just proved capable of catching bullets, right? The saiyan shifted and prepared to dash off down the stairs when that damnable Fancod returned, complete with a remark about Tap’s impatience. She scoffed and cast an intense glare toward the man. All that fuss was made over… birds? They seriously wanted to delay Tap’s tour of the facility because birds had gotten in the pipes? If they had some kind of accident, or were severely behind schedule because of something within anyone’s control, she might have understood delaying her knowledge of the situation. Birds?! “ Use smoke. You know, like the phrase, ‘smoke them out’? Not enough to suffocate the dumb little critters, but enough for them to get a good whiff of it and they’ll probably come flapping out all on their own. Then, you can flush the pipes without risking injury to any of the things. Just be careful about it, the last thing Capsule Corp needs are animal rights activists kicking down my door, telling me what a terrible thing we’ve done to the environment. Hell, am I going to have to station a Public Relations agent at every damn project to ensure that nothing goes on that could reflect back poorly on us?” lecturing, it seemed, was a fond pass-time of Tap’s. She huffed out a sigh and shook her head, moving then to step up onto some nearby railing, Malina still firmly in tow. “ Well, I’m still going to have my look around, and I was intent on getting some exercise… so I’m going to do that. Just… make sure the chopper is ready for us when I’m done,” with that, she glanced at Malina over her shoulder and flashed the girl a cocky smile and a little wink, “ Hold on, we’re gonna go fast.” Tap launched herself off of the railing and into the open air, free falling toward a set of construction rafters somewhere several stories below. She landed without a hitch and bounced quickly off toward another ledge- and another, and soon enough, they were soaring through the expansive complex in a series of long, happy, jumps. “ See?! My family is pretty amazing-- this kind of exercise is nothing for us!” wc: 547 twc: 2731 SadistSquirrel

Malina felt herself being harshly tugged into a clinging position, and while it stayed rather loose as she just sat there awkwardly… that changed very quickly. For a moment she was distracted. “ Oh well… how about smoke and a net? Otherwise they’ll just end up flying off and getting somewhere else we don-- Miss Brief!?” Malina suddenly yelped as she felt them hop up onto the banister, her eyes widening as she realised what the woman was planning. “ Nnnnn -- eep!” Her legs clamped down tightly around Tap’s waist as her arms clinged against her shoulders, as the model flinged them off into a freefall… her bob immediately catching the wind and flying wildly. Tap was likely having a merry grand old time. Malina… not so much, as she clung tightly and closed her eyes firmly shut as they bounced from railing to railing, ledge to ledge. It took her a long time to open her eyes again, eventually taking in (with horrified expression) the sheer display of acrobatic might. “ M-Mm-Miss Brief I really don’t -- Eep!” She flinched suddenly as a bit of scaffolding came far closer than she would’ve liked… it wasn’t anywhere near hitting her, but she was clearly losing her cool. “ V-Very amazing though Miss Brief! Amazing! Absolutely amazing. I’m amazed.” She was repeating herself already, and a quick look to her showed she was somewhat in distress… but more importantly, her usually straight and tidy hair had begun to curl and overall look significantly more disheveled. By the time they’d come to a stop, Malina was panting more than Tap was! She wasn’t quite hyperventilating but she was certainly threatening to as she remained clung to the model even after they came to a standstill. “That… was definitely uhhh… something! Maybe next time you can show me safer. And you safer. No shooting at you? No death-defying stunts and acrobatics? M-Maybe?” She gave a pleading look, only to frown and sigh. “... that’s not going to happen, is it?”

She all but cackled at Malina’s clearly preposterous request. No, actually, she very much did cackle. It was rare that Tap got the opportunity to actually show off her abilities, and rarer yet that she could do so without having to worry about the bad press involved with it. The model rarely had time for proper training given her career, and despite her own thoughts on the matter, any demonstration of her abilities during a photo shoot ended poorly. Apparently, there was little appeal to be found in a woman who could crush your skull with a single hand by the wider audience. Sure, there were those niche crowds who enjoyed that sort of thing, but… Tap was hardly looking to appeal to them. Not that a fruitful career as an online model crushing things between her thighs hadn’t crossed her mind once or twice, of course. “ This is plenty safe-- even if you fell, I’d catch you. I caught a bullet, and you should be smart enough to know that you cannot possibly fall faster than a bullet can travel. If you could, I’d be impressed… and concerned,” aside from being essentially physically impossible-- if the laws of physics somehow allowed Earth’s gravity alone to rocket Malina into bullet speeds, it would likely mean that she was impossibly heavy. Fortunately, she was not. “ One more round-- we’ll head back up, then we can get back in the chopper and you’ll be perfectly comfortable hurtling through the air in a metal death cage that can’t save you if you fall!” the princess exclaimed gleefully, then turned on her heel and immediately began leaping back up the long series of ledges that she had used to descend. Poor Malina. wc: 302 twc: 3033 SadistSquirrel

Malina hesitated… before giving a nervous chuckle. “ Well… when you put it that was Miss Brief, I guess you have a point.” She seemed to relax a bit, before she realised they weren’t using the stairs to get back. “ W-Wait? M-Miss Brief, I’m an engineer! I trust the helicopterrrrrrr!” She cried out, burying her head into Tap’s shoulder as they began bounding right back up again… she clung tightly the model as they leaped through the air but it quickly became apparent that Malina had taken her word. Finally opening her eyes and just taking in the sights as scaffolding whipped past them. By the time they’d finally came to a stop, she was actually smiling. “ I… ahh… well, I guess that was sort of uhh…” She pushed her glasses up her nose, said nose wiggling a little. “ ... cool.” Finally up where they started, she gave a small wiggle… her legs unclamping from around Tap as she settled down on her own two feet… an awkward silence for a moment before she smiled up at Tap. “ ... I trust you too, sorry. You didn’t let me fall after all, right?” With a cheeky smirk, she shook her head and rushed off to where she’d left her clipboard earlier, plucking it up into her hands. “So… back to the helicopter? Perfect!” She nudged her head for Tap to lead on, following along behind as she aggressively scribbled. Just what was she working on? Their work at the dam was complete it seemed, and while not much help was needed it had certainly been an interesting experience for all involved… while it would take a while for it to be functional, many months if not years, the people of West City were safe in the knowledge that even with the declining fossil fuels their energy needs would be met for years to come! All with the help of Capsule Corp, of course. As it should be. The co-pilot opened the door for Tap as she approached the helicopter, ushering the two in. Malina seemed positively distracted however, and it didn’t take long to see why. Alongside an idle scribbling of some sort of design for Tap’s bike, was a strange assortment of lines that she seemed quite meticulous in drawing, even correcting a few that she didn’t think were right… for the time being, it didn’t make much sense. The helicopter took off, and still Malina remained scribbling away. The fact she’d essentially stolen a clipboard didn’t seem to bother her much, given she’d only stolen it from the company she worked for anyway. However, in time she seemed done with it... a few last minute lines and scratches. She nudged Tap carefully, before tilting the clipboard towards her. “You needed somewhere to exercise like that, right? Push your limits. Might not have the resources for it right now but… given time… right?” At least now the lines made sense, bars… beams, a veritable Saiyan obstacle course.
