"Ah, damnit! How am I ever going to get this thing working?!" Achido spoke in a panicked tone, pushing buttons along the dashboard, while flipping switches all at the same time. The red light was still flashing and the alarm was ringing throughout the invention Achido and his employee’s were working on. Once again the young man seemed to panic as the alarm was going off, but with a little bit of focus and inspiration, Achi was able to clear the system and deactivate the alarms. "Phew, that was close!" He said while wiping the sweat from his forehead.
Achido was rather surprised that he was able to get into the system again and shut down the alarms, but the victory was short lived as one of his employees approached him. "Another problem, Samuel?" Achido quickly spun around in the chair to face the short man with black hair and a seventies porn mustache. "Mr. Nakamura, we, uh, seem to have a problem on our hands and I need you to come take have a look at what we have discovered." The short man spoke and trembled at the same time, obviously frightened with fear from what he had seen. Whatever it was, Achido knew that the situation was serious by the expression on the man’s face.
After a short walk from the research lab, the two men made their way back to Samuel’s office on the sixth floor of the large building, where Sam sat down in his chair and began to twist the computer screen so Achido could see it. It looked like a layout of some sort of map and a small red dot was blinking on it. The young man moved in to get a better look at the screen, pulling his glasses out from the chest pocket and over his eyes. "T-this is not good, Samuel. This happened once before and that was a little over two years ago.." He paused and began to shake his head slowly. Samuel examined his boss and feared for the worst. "I have an idea. But it’s a shot in the dark. Stay here and keep your eyes on that screen. If anything changes you better call me first." He stated before leaving the room in a hurry.
The young man was now headed to his office with a whole lot on his mind and unsure what to make of this situation. "It has been two years, what the hell am I going to say?" He mumbled as he stepped into his office and sat down in the chair. With a loud sigh, Achido finally reached for the phone and began a call that was stretching out to more than just one person, it was his friends from a time he remembers well and will forever cherish. "Come on, pick up the phone, one of you has to answer.."

Tiger Lily texted Achido to invite him over for a barbecue at her home island, so he could finally meet her parents, shortly after meeting his own, and since half the day passed without an answer she locked into his ki signature. Of course, she was not the type to approach some mysterious building through normal means, so the teenager flew up to the same floor Achido was in, gazing at him through the window hoping to catch his attention by waving, she noticed he was holding a landline phone, so she pointed up with a hand signal while mouthing the letters R-O-O-F.
After spending time on Ensalada helping build homes for saiyans found in underground bunkers, she actually missed her parents, mainly because so many families were displaced, and yet she had not found her father’s missing twin sister yet. Unfortunately, she was going to have to share the news, that she was still not found, and that meant another piercing. Well, at least it would be limited to his lifespan, most pureblooded saiyans lived past one hundred, and so far Koba had 28 piercings for the years that have passed between him and his twin.
On the roof, she half expected Cayle and Konja to already be on her home island, but there was a chance they were in the southern islands instead of Pilaf Land for the same reasons. Ever since she left her childhood home, she wanted to visit many places on earth, but she realized quickly that it was dangerous to venture on her own–ever since she traveled to the northern lands to open a bunker, which only contained a red fox humanoid creature, and had to fight against two androids who either wanted to capture them or kill them. Tiger Lily, honestly forgot to ask, since she was in a great hurry.

Management was a completely different beast from the simple life at the cash register. That was what Konja had been told after two years of making Employee of the Month most of the time. She might not have received anything like a high school education, but she made up for it with skills relevant to the job, and working extra hard for it. And now, in addition to having her picture framed on the wall for most of the year, senior management had approached her with... It wasn't exactly an offer, but it might lead to one, depending on how she answered. Day shift manager. She had done work for all three shifts, and she found all of them to have their own merits and problems, so it wasn't like she had a particularly strong preference. The day shift was fine. The question was whether she was willing to take on that responsibility. Was she ready? Senior management apparently thought so. So the matter was really up to her. Depending on who you asked, someone else might have jumped at the opportunity. But Konja had always been a servant, rather than a leader. And while it was true that the lowest of leaders also served higher powers, leaders simply had more responsibilities. Senior management had explained this to her, of course, and said that while they considered her ready, they would also give her time to think things through. Which was exactly what she needed. Aside from helping to build the Kingdom of Ensalada and continuing the war, she was using her free time to learn about the intricacies of farming on Earth, the similarities and differences between it and Plantian crops. She was also learning to do business. Not just as a cashier, but as an owner. How else could one earn a living off one's farm if not to sell her produce in effective ways? Management might have been something that could help her learn how to run a farm with multiple farmhands. But on the other hand, she would have to take time away from these other pursuits, as her teachers would no doubt give her homework in addition to the OJT. So how to think things through now... Well, that was why she was above Pilaf Land right now. Not to play about with the park offerings, nor to reminisce about that raid they did back then. She did her best to keep it out of mind, even. No, it was because the whimsical sight somehow gave her peace. And maybe because of someone who was down there... Her phone rang for a conference call. She picked up and answered. "Yes, Achido?" It had been a long time, of course. But for someone who came from a society where one could go for a long time without seeing friends from outside the tribe, it was nothing new. It was easy to simply pick right back where they had left off. "I'll be right over, we can talk about it in person."Honing in on his ki signature, she adjusted her vector and accelerated. That was at least something she had gotten better at with the years. Flying. Soon, she would meet with him again, and find out what the call was about. That is, if he didn't do some explaining while she was still along the way. Notably, Ty was already there. Well, she didn't want to be late so... again, Konja accelerated. Tardiness was unacceptable among the Taco King's army. And between friends, who were more than employment, why make them wait? [597/597] Ty Achido Cayle Pota

Cayle answered the phone call – set up on a three way conference, apparently hosted by Konja – good for her, she was learning more about the use of electronics and electronic accessories every day – with an uncharacteristic grunt. He listened and also read the text that Tiger Lily had sent them all earlier, and then shook his head.
“I would come over and help right now, but apparently the South City Police Department Station #4 isn't willing to sign over or allow me to bail out, 13 teenagers, especially teenage Saiyans – despite the fact I am legally their guardian by all intents of the word. Something about a hit and run with a cabbage cart, motorcycle racing through the streets by children who aren't even teenagers, none the less license having teenagers, and a fist fight with some martial arts students down at the Starfish Style Martial Arts School. So why don't the three of you come to me? I'm sure they'll be more than happy to allow four adults to chaperon the children – especially.” and the Saiyan warlord and king of Ensalada Island got loud at this point. “Given I could destroy more than half of the building without trying and simply take them, if I got the inclination.”
“It's the police station on the corner of 4 Star Avenue and Toriyama Lane, Konja, Tiger Lily – it's the one by the combo Taco King and Majin Moo's Combination building.”
And in the background, even now, a voice could be heard shouting at the police, “You better throw the book at them officers, MY CABBAGES. MY CABBAGES.”

Achido was wearing a white button up and some black slacks with some fancy black shoes, which were perched up on the edge of his desk with the phone in his hand. As Konja answered the phone, Tiger Lily levitated to the current floor Achi was on and motioned from outside for him to meet her on the roof. With a bright smile on his face, the young man nodded and finally answered Konja. "We will be on the roof, so it will be easy to spot us!" He replied to Konja, while still sitting there on the phone. It was at that time when Cayle finally answered the call. The young blonde man just shook his head at what he was hearing. "Cayle, this is a worldwide issue we are dealing with. My computers are going off the walls, showing some kind of activity in the same location of the Temple from two years ago. Ugh, just get here when you can!" He hung up the phone and quickly ran out the door of his office.
As Achido finally made it to the top of the building, he stopped at the exit to the roof with his hand resting on the door for a moment to get a breather. He pushed the door open to see Tiger Lily chilling up there. With a slight wave, Achido walked over towards the edge and looked around to see if Konja was near. "Now, we wait for Konja." He stated, before turning to look at the redhead with a smirk. "Might as well catch up a bit while we wait. How have you been, Ty?" He asked, realizing that his glasses were still on his face, so he quickly pulled them off and placed them back in his shirt pocket for the time being. "Cayle answered the call, too. He was saying something about meeting him at the police station, but I think what I have to show you will make you feel like this is more important." He added, glancing around the area in hopes of Konja showing up soon. The young man was unsure of how serious the situation was, but he knew that he had to check it out either way. There was something about that place that made him feel uneasy.

Ever since she left Pilaf Land, a lot has happened, including adopting a small dragon boy who resided in the tree house sometimes who was being taken care of by Rosemary the fennec fox beastwoman charged with his education. Seeing Achido show up in business style clothing made her look at her own sloppy style of wearing tank-top and a black jumpsuit hanging at her hips. In the rush to get over here she was still wearing a tool belt, she had been helping her father assemble a few things at her home island, preparing for the barbecue since it was the first time her parents would be meeting everyone apart from Cayle. “I sent you a text about attending a barbecue later…if you’re free.” Ty began to say but it seemed something was on her best friend’s mind, “What’s wrong?” As he went into detail about waiting to speak to Konja and Cayle, it seemed they were not far away, the local south city police station was a few blocks away, and they would rendezvous on the roof to discuss a few things. “Ah…I feel like it’s been so long we have so much to talk about!” At first she smiled widely but she could tell Achido was worried so she idly stood by, watching the distance she could see Konja getting close, but it seemed Cayle was held up. While it was not the first time her boyfriend had to deal with the police, she figured this was entirely something else, perhaps one or two of the teenage saiyan refugees were in trouble with the law—hopefully after all the good deeds they have done in the southern islands over the year was sufficient enough to be in their good graces to simply give those kids community service by cleaning up the beach or painting over graffiti. “Konja! Hi!” Ty called out, she was too excited to see everyone, that it was impossible to be as equally serious as Achido. [331] [639]

With the closing power signatures and Achido's instructions, it wasn't hard for Konja to spot a couple of dots on the roof of a building. He wasn't kidding when he said they would be easy to spot. This conference calling thing really was convenient. She had heard that a long time ago, phones could only call one person at a time. And even further back, there was a time when all phones were of that wired variety that you couldn't just carry around. Cayle explained his situation as she closed in, having to deal with the police because of teenagers being teenagers. Over the call, she could have sworn she heard a voice that sounded vaguely familiar, yelling about cabbages. Well she was preparing to start a yam farm, so it wasn't out of the question that she might have run into a cabbage farmer sometime in the past. Still, it was quite the predicament. The King of Ensalada gave the directions and his second made a mental note to head over there once the three of them had assembled. "Understood, Cayle."Before she could say much else, though, Achi explained what the fuss was about. That was, the old temple, where she had even fought... Herself, had the Saiyans and Tuffles been friends instead of enemies. What a strange memory that was. Would she ever really grow to embrace advanced technology so much that she might one day wear Tuffle-like armour? One point in its favour was it didn't have any needles or scalpels that she could tell... But another point against was that her skin made fine armour by itself, especially when reinforced with ki. As she closed in, the dots became figures. And one of those figures called out with a familiar voice. Tiger Lily. Konja landed on a three-pointed crouch before standing up with a smile, waving back. "Ty! It's been a while." She looked over to Achi and nodded. "Hello, Achi. I've been... thinking, lately. Well..."How exactly could she put this? "Well, I'd like to ask you about something, but it sounds like there are important matters to deal with." The question was which. Well, it really shouldn't have been a question. They could make a quick stop at the precinct, get the kids out and send them on the way back home. Then they could make their way to the site of the strange temple. At least, that was how she imagined things would go. Konja was more of a follower than a leader, at any rate, and it was still hard to grasp the idea of being the King's second. Especially when you had someone with a leader's upbringing like Tara, or a leader's history, like Elder Fiddar. Even Renkon, and "formerly" Lieutenant Barlei... But that was where Cayle had put her, and she would serve that role to the best of her ability. [482/1079] Cayle Pota Achido Ty

With Konja just in the distance and closing in on them at a quick rate, Achido smiled slightly at what Tiger Lily had said. "A Barbeque sounds great!" He seemed excited at first, then it vanished when he remembered why he even asked them to come, so he looked back to Ty and began to speak some more. "I just have a bad feeling about something. The temple, I sense there is more to it than we originally thought. My computers have been picking up weird activity in the same location of the temple that rose from the ocean." He paused once more just as Konja arrived at the scene.
His demeanor changed instantly as the female saiyan landed on the rooftop of the building. Achido quickly walked up to her and hugged Konja tight after she spoke, then pulled away slowly, and looked the saiyan in the eyes. "What is on your mind, Konja? There is no need to hold back your thoughts." He replied, pushing the strand of hair around the ear of the saiyan to make sure it wasn’t in the way. It was as if everything around him has faded with the presence of Konja around him, It was silent, all the human could feel was the constant pumping of his heart, beating through his chest like a heavy metal band’s drummer during a solo.
Achido finally pulled himself out of the so-called trance he was in and finally turned to face Tiger Lily with a little nod. "I don’t know about you, but I think Cayle can handle himself for the time being. We should probably go check out what is going on in that location. I already alerted a small team to meet us out there so we have the right equipment needed to investigate this properly. I don’t need any of my friends getting hurt." He let out a long sigh after speaking, then glanced down at the device on his wrist, and quickly looked back up at the others. "I think Cayle would understand, don’t you think so as well?" He asked, looking at them curiously for the time being.
Taking the lead wasn’t normally Achido’s thing, but he had a weird hunch that something was going on and that whatever it was, it was something that could potentially be very dangerous to him, his friends, and maybe even the entire planet. Whatever it was, the young man wasn’t going to just stand around and wait for it, he wanted to take it head on, and see exactly what they were going up against. Achido looked back and forth at Tiger Lily and Konja, before finally hopping up to levitate just a few feet off the ground. "One way or another, I am going to check this out, I just can’t stand here and doubt my team. Are you both coming or not?" He asked in a soft tone. He was certainly scared, but most of all Achido was curious.
