Welcome to the 2nd Anniversary Mission Creation Contest! In this contest, you will write mission prompt submissions in the manner we have done in our previous mission writing contest threads (located here and here, and gain rewards. It's been a long year, and we want to thank the players for persevering with us. Though our previous mission contests have been simple voting, in this instance we will be separating the mission prompts into brackets and allowing weighted voting (allowing a person to pick a 1st, 2nd, 3rd choice) for the missions in each bracket and have them ascend the brackets as they gain votes. If we don't get enough submissions for a particular genre (which is what they were going to be separated into brackets through) we will have them compete through a mission location based bracket. The format for mission submission is the following: Mission Name: REMEMBER PUNS ARE GOOD Mission Star Rating: As described in the RP Rulebook and Rewards Guide. This is the amount of multiplier on 2,000 words that a mission has as a requirement to be finished. Genre: (Choose up to two from from Mystery, Beach Episode, Martial Arts Dojo, Vacation, Part-Time Job, Film/Commercial, Sci-Fi Mayhem, Hunting, Treasure Hunting, Crafting, Petty Crime, Train/Plane/Boat Robbery, Corporate Espionage, Holidays, Martial Arts Tournament, Extremely Strong Civilian, Regional Capital Police for a Day, Broken Destiny Noir/Detective Story, Tomb Raiding, Night School Student/Teacher, Shadow Anomaly**, Racing, Festival, Spooky, Magic, Animals, Kaiju, Custom(Youmakethisoneup) 1st Choice Location: The place you'd most prefer the mission to be. 2nd Choice Location: The place you'd prefer if the other choice isn't an option. (Location should be one of the 8 location categories found in the mission board.) Summary/Prompt: The Prompt and/or Summary of the mission's concept. Proposed Rewards: This is not necessary but you can add it. I may or may not allow the proposed rewards, or might take them and modify them to fit. While the rewards for this event (including participation rewards) will not be revealed for some time after this has been posted, anyone who participates and submits at least one mission into the contest gets 4 free Capcha rolls. As far for what a Shadow Anomaly is genre wise, ask and we will give you details. It references a former world event that occurred in the Pilaf Land area and which references mystically accessed/reflected alternate dimensions of Broken Destiny’s own dimension. Mission Name: Freddy got Figured Mission Star Rating: 2-Star Mission, 4,000 WC Genre: Mystery / Whodunit? 1st Choice Location: Worldwide 2nd Choice Location: East Lands
Summary/Prompt: Another disappearance. This time it was the Mayor of Fairy Floss, Freddy Sweettooth. Go check out the Mayor's Mansion, find clues; wait, is that a figurine of the Mayor? Tracking down the security footage, you see that someone had sneaked into the Mayor's Mansion during the night. Every recording of the person is slightly distorted and doesn't get much of a look at their face, but they seem to be carrying some strange kind of gun that almost looks like a toy... Ask around town if they've seen anyone that looks like that.
Proposed Rewards: 1 Figurine of a Broken Destiny board member. It looks to be part of a collectable set?
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Mission Name: Hourglass Figurine Mission Star Rating: 3-Star Mission, 6,000 WC Genre: Mystery / Extremely Strong Civilian 1st Choice Location: Worldwide 2nd Choice Location: East Lands
Summary/Prompt: You managed to get a lead, a good one this time. The culprit appears to be living in an abandoned factory outside town in the industrial district. It used to be a Toy Factory, Fairy Toys, owned by a reclusive billionaire (Merlin Rosewater) who went missing years ago after an explosion in the factory. When you go to the factory, you find yourself accosted by a small army of toy soldiers that fire real bullets; even the miniature tanks fire payloads capable of leveling a small house. Getting past the security, you get inside, and find the culprit's office, formerly the CEO's office. You find files detailing what has been going on in town... Someone was using an experimental weapon to turn the people of Fairy Floss into figurines! And it looks like they want to make you a part of their collection.
Proposed Rewards: 1 Figurine of a Broken Destiny board member. It looks to be part of a collectable set?
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Mission Name: More than You Figured Mission Star Rating: 4-Star Mission, 8,000 WC Genre: Mystery / Supernatural 1st Choice Location: Worldwide 2nd Choice Location: East Lands
Summary/Prompt: You managed to defeat the culprit! But, wait. The gun that they had was a toy? How did that make sense? How did it fire actual energy attacks at you? But, now it's a toy? Wake the culprit up and ask him some questions and you realize that he's actually the CEO of the Fairy Toys company! But, how could that be? He should be at least in his nineties by now and yet he looks like a spry and young twenty year old! Turns out that he was accosted by an actual Fairy the day of the explosion, a thug in the servitude of Oberon, the Fairy King, who runs the Fairies like a Mob Boss. It appears that Merlin owed Oberon a large sum of money, as did the Mayor, and all the people who had been turned into figurines. Merlin was trying to use his gun - which works on belief and imagination, as sappy as it sounds - to track down the fairy goon that had been turning people into figurines and force him to take him to the Hall of the Fairies. Help Merlin track the goon down?
Proposed Rewards: 1 Figurine of a Broken Destiny board member. It looks to be part of a collectable set?

Super strength, super speed, Ki and magic manipulation, it was a miracle you managed to beat this guy. Force him to open the way to the Hall of Fairies. Once you go through the portal and you find yourself inside what looks like an immense and beautiful castle, you are surrounded by countless fairies. You stand no chance to defeat them all. Go quietly with them as they take you to Oberon.
The Fairy King, Oberon, glares you down and demands that you cease interfering in his business. If you accept, he'll pay you a large sum of money and let you be on your way. If you refuse, he'll throw you in the dungeon... There you'll find that many fairies had also been thrown in the dungeon, including one who claims to be the rightful ruler, Queen Titania, deposed by her would-be husband who grew mad with power. She'll help you restore everyone who has been turned into figurines if you help her escape and overthrow Oberon.
