Career Saga:
Satanic Career Confirmed
Times were rough for Aichi and Rudolf while they traveled the demon infested roadside of the Southlands. The Saiyan and dog duo was struggling with their insatiable appetite. Rudolf was constantly hungry and so was Aichi, both of them were bottomless pits. Their food cost was high, so the Saiyan stopped at the nearby Satan City for some quick Zenni. Usually he got some prize money for a performance at a local martial arts tournament. Unfortunately Satan City offered no such thing when Aichi arrived.
At a loss the Saiyan prodigy was unsure how to proceed. Sleeping underneath of a bridge with his companion for one night he came up with a plan to get some good grub. Early the next morning he cleaned up at a gas station. His red hair was slicked back and Aichi was looking as good as he could. Fortunately he had some deodorant so he didnt stink. The perfect recipe for a part time job was coming together.
Aichi was entering the work force of Satan City. His late parents had connections with Capsule Corporation. Plus himself had developed connections with the Brief family though the Ryusha Temple. Aichi wanted to try this on his own, and confidently was readying his will power fornsocial interactions. Preperationg always worked best for him.
After leaving Rudolf at the bridge the prodigy headed toward a Sinic gas station. The clerk failed to greet him, but it didnt matter to Aichi. The Saiyan sped to the bathroom at just before ten am. The clerk was stocking thenadult section and didnt even notice him enter.
Staring in the mirror for a minute Aichi was talking to himself up. His arms were leaning on the public bathroom sink and he was very close to the cheap smudged up glass as his lips were moving quietly. Aichi spoke in near silence while looking himself square in the eyes. Both of his differently colored iris' had a red tinted sclera around them. Aichi was tired, and hungry. His mood was good though, albeit forced.
"You need this. Go out there, find a job. Earn some zenni, Rudolf needs you. You're smart. You're strong. Its temporary work. A match will pop up." Aichi gritted his teeth and spread his lips trying to invigoratehisnsoirit with forced ferocity. Bearing his fangs the Saiyan growled in the mirror for a few minutes like a wild beast.
Eventually someone banged on the door and his procrastination was no more. Spraying the aerosol to make it seem like he wasnt talking to himself in themirror, Aichi exited the restroom in his typical black jacket. His dagger was hidden underneath the jacket, he probably should have left it at the bridge but he hadn't thought of it. The tall Namekian was Aichi's height, and had a red cerebral membrane covering his skull. Aichi nodded to him and noticed that the man had something under his jacket too. The Namekian was wearing a black jacket, with a Void insignia on the lapel.
Aichi carried on, and the green man went into the bathroom.
Walking out of the gas station without paying for anything, Aichi was surprised when the clerk was screaming at him and chasing after with his fist raised. Aichi was startled and flew into the air as the man tried to snatch him by the lapel. Out of the mans reach he asked, "What, now theres a few for the toilet?" Aichi sighed.
The man had his cell phone in his other hand and was talking to the police. He told them Aichu had stolen in the bathroom. That wasn't true of course, but Aichi couldn't hear the while story as he slowly flew higher preparing fir an unnecessary escape. The man proceeded to tell them Aichu was flying, and that was the last Aichi could make out before reaching roof tip height.
The clerk was still was screaming, and completely aghast by the red headed martial artist who was flying. Screaming at the man Aichu insisted in his innocence by putting his hands in a prayer gesture as he flew upwards. He considered flying away still but didnt want to draw some kind if reputation as a thief. Aichi just flew up from the violent the man and waited for the police to arrive and hear his stiry.
Hair slicked back the Saiyan was flying cross legged above the rooftop of the gas station, after waiting ten minutes m. He watched for any police cars that were coming. For ten more minutes he just sat there, his arms crossed now too. The wind was heavier now and his hair was flying back after the long wait. The Saiyan remained patient though, and eventually two cop cars arrived.
Aichi hadn't heard all of the conversation the man said to the dispatcher, but he knew the man lied about him stealing. Whatever else he said was certainly lies too because the police exited their vehicles with their nine millimeter pistols drawn. The Smith and Wesson firearms were pointed at Aichi and it was clear the man had been intimidated by the Saiyan flying around. The police screamed something about resisting and Aichi gave up on trying to explain himself from a distance.
The police shouted something but Mr. Genki couldn't hear anything clearly from so far away and with the wind at his ears. He shouted back, "I didnt steal nothing!"
Aichi reached around to where his buttocks were in a sitting position as he levitated above the rooftop still. Had he been able to hear the guns clicking he might have stopped, but instead Aichu continued to reach for his identification card in his wallet. He pulled it out and masterfully threw it towards the police. It glided through the wind and landed atop the lead sheriff's vehicle.
Before the identification card landed, the frightened cops started shooting their guns. Like angry Hornets the six bullets flew at Aichi. Quickly forming a strong aura around himself Aichi delicately used super speed to grab the bullets near him. Pulling all six from mid air the mighty warrior was unharmed, and noted the good aim of the two officers. Better skilled with grace Aichi's perfect 67 degree angle of intercepting the metal bullets deflected their potential to implode. Hisnfingers deflected the metal down into his thumb. Almost no force was transferred. Instead the action made another loud biim noise.
Six more bangs went off and the Aichi tossed the lead down and frowned harshly. His aura once again spread out and he Dragon Dashed to the east in escape.
Not disturbed as much as someone might guess, Aichi kept the same plan for his day to make some Zeni. As he flew his hair was back to its typically messy shag, the water he slicked it back with evaporating by the unfiltered early daylight. Paying little mind to it he flew for a good twenty minutes before landing in a supermarket.
He had forgotten his identification card on the police car.
Entering the super market oblivious to any pursuit by officers Aichi applied for a part time job. The manager interviewed him on the spot but unfortunately he didnt give him a job. Instead the young woman told him to come back tomorrow for a new interview, and to bring his idea. Aichi nodded, feigning satisfaction at her response to the job.
He still hadn't realized he lost his identity proof.
After the hour long interview, and waiting for the manager, Aichi headed further east looking for another prospective job. He slowly walked passed the various crosswalks, cautious not to get hit but at a steady pace still. Stopping at various establishments on both sides of the road he was earnest in his search for a career.
The Saiyan didn't know it but he was being hunted as he walked casually for a new interview with a fast food place.
While he crossed the street and headed to a Taco King, police were twenty miles away speeding eastbound with his name and image on their cop screens. They were tracking him down, but first they were heading to their office where high tech laser guns were kept. Aichi had been a confirmed Anamolous Threat to Satan City, and the so called "thief" was reason enough to permit lethal force. Soon the police would have a weapon for Aichi to fear.
For now, at exactly twelve thirty four pm, Aichi was waiting for another manager. This time Arthur would be questioning Aichi about his employment history.
After successfully getting the job, Art as he like to be called asked for identification. Aichi pulled his wallet out, the metal chain clanging from his black denim belt loops. Scouring twice Aichi was sweating and slowly recalling the last time he saw it.
"I think I left it at home?" Aichi squeaked, but Art was fine with it. He instructed Aichi to come back by four with it. He promised to reserve the job until then. Hungry for some of the tacos he could smell in the lobby, Aichi promised he would be right back.
The mission was clear now. Aichi had to find wherever the ID card was now, or he wouldnt eat anytime soon. He hoped the police hadn't seen it land on the car. Unfortunately that wasnt the case, and they were only thirty minutes away from him. Exiting the Taco King Aichi flew off into the west sky. He planned on returning to the scene where the police tried to shoot him.
As he flew he crossed paths with a series of four SWAT vans, their red and blue lights whizzing about. They ran a red light, blaring their siren in the middle land. Aichi wondered if they were looking for him, and dashed faster away in the other direction.
Fortunately they didnt see him, and Aichi was able to return to the gas station in less than twenty minutes. He was exhausted from all the flying, and softly landed on the roof. Squinting his eyes for better vision and wheezing exasperated breaths, Aichi scanned the ground for his ID. The bullets were glittering on the ground but he didnt see his rectangular id card. The Saiyan didnt dare get down from the roof, but stayed up there for a good ten minutes while he scanned thoroughly.
Eventually Aichi assumed the worst. He decided the police had retrieved his identity card. Not so worried about his job now, Aichi sat on the roof. Cross legged and cross armed again, he was concentrating very hard on how to retrieve his card without any further conflict. The more he thought about it the more stress he felt, and Aichi suspected eventually a warrant would be filed for him.
Deciding he would not waste any more time, Aichu came up with the best plan he could think of. It was also the first plan the hot headed Saiyan could think of. Usually cool and calm, Aichi easily got flustered in irritating situations. Flying back into the air he was flying low and looking for a cop car. Hoping for just a lone patrol car, Aichi scanned the streets like a hawk preying on the prairie life.
I didnt take long for another speedster to run a red light. Aichi spotted the cop quickly by its lights. Speeding down he followed the car. Before long he was at its rear. Aichi dragon dashed faster and grabbed the whole cars rear end with two hands. Flinging it into the air, Aichi see his target. Following it at breakneck speed Aichi was circling in position with the open window. The cop was screaming and suddenly Aichi seized the airborne vehicle.
Flinging it gently Aichi opened the door. The cop was felled to the passenger side and cowering. Aichi peeked his head over the upside down doorway and said, "I need my idea." The cup was crying but Aichi him.
Aaccording to the airborne prisoner Aichi's identity card was in the SWAT vanss lead unit. One of the cops that shot at him had it, and brought it to the police station as evidence for the R.A.M. laser approval. As he told Aichi the Saiyan put the car down by slowly levitating downwards. Eventually he got all the info he needed and set the black and white siren equipped vehicle down.
The cop grabbed the radio and warned his comrades right away. Aichi wasnt afraid of the R.A.M. Expecting the van had gone in the same direction they were following him from, east; the Saiyan flew off on the same road. Flying at the same level as a car would, Aichi was recklessly flying. He was focused on finding that SWAT van, and get that Taco King job. While he flew his stomach was growling, and Aichi's dedication to find the identity card issued by Southlands for citizens grew more and more hardened.
Quick with aero-acrobatics, the prodigal master flew swiftly past the Taco King. He nearly shed a tear as the shredded beef smell watered his mouth.
Aichi knew these cops would give him.trouble, and wished he had some food in his belly. Flying faster, Aichis passion drove him forward to secure the job and fuel his training as a Saiyan.
