Question of the Moment 1: What is your character's greatest fear? Greatest personal wish? Greatest fear - Zam fears all things and people she can’t just blast away. Out of all, her greatest source of fear is the dark, where weird noises and strange shadows are... Greatest personal wish - Zam wishes to become a big, cool and smart adult, like all the grown-ups she looks up to, especially Clove Tea and Mister Satan.
Question of the Moment 2: What is your character's favorite food? Most hated food? Favorite: Rocky road ice cream - Chocolate and marshmallows in general get Zam’s love, so ice cream that combines them is a jackpot. Most hated: Steamed broccoli - Zam absolutely loathes all kinds of veggies, but broccoli is on top of her hate list.
Question of the Moment 3: Describe your character's primary abode/home. If they're a vagrant like a certain Koma cosplaying Tuffle, describe your homeless encampment. Zam’s Playground, also nicknamed the Majin Forest, is a small corner of wilderness the little demon has claimed as her territory. Full of lush trees and wild bushes, it’s a chore to traverse, but a joy to explore. The stronghold is not protected by any manner of walls, but rather wooden signs scattered around the perimeter. Each one bears a grim warning scrawled hastily by the local demons. They tell all travelers to ‘Beware the Majin’ and implore them to stay out. Said Majin doesn’t mind the signs since she can’t read. The heart of the area is a tiny lake accompanied by a sheer cliff and a waterfall. It is surrounded by a variety of fruit trees. Zam is fiercely protective of the trees and their tasty treats. Anyone uninvited who even looks at them funny will end up on the receiving end of a ki barrage.
Question of the Moment 4: What is your character's favorite Broken Destiny universe fast food restaurant? Majin Moo’s - Duh~! Zam loves sweet stuff, yus.
Question of the Moment 5: Vegeta and Goku (Kakarot) have a lot of in universe media out about them. Gohan is the second Mister Satan and the star of 'Mr. Satan's Neighborhood' on Public Broadcasting near you. Almost all of the Z Fighters are famous in their own ways. If your character could eat lunch with one of them, which one? Describe the scene.
The midday sun shines warmly, playfully poking its rays through the windows of the biggest Majin Moo’s in Central City. Frigid air conditioning struggles to keep the warmth at bay. Suddenly, the double doors swing open. Heralded by a chorus of screaming fangirls, a famous figure marches in, wearing a brown gi and a confident grin. His trademark moustache and manly chest hair are unmistakable. He tosses around signed papers, as his booming voice drowns the radio.
“Heh heh heh... Settle down, folks! There’s enough autographs for everybody! Now where’s the lucky gal who won the chance to have lunch with the Champ?”
Faster than one can say here, a pink missile blasts across the restaurant. A delighted squeal is the only warning before the impact. “Mister Sataaaaaan~!!!” It tackles the famous martial artist like an out-of-control super ball. Luckily, the champ is made of sterner stuff than regular folk. He catches the missile, sliding only a couple of feet backwards. A closer look reveals a pink girl dressed in a garb very familiar to the big man. After the initial shock passes, he cracks a wide grin. A quick squeeze of her rubbery body confirms the guess.
“Heh, somebody’s excited. You know, you remind me a lot of my best friend.”
Zam is beaming brighter than the sunshine outside. “Ooh, really?!” Her arms stretch and grab her favorite TV star into a tight hug. His wheezing and desperate tapping go unnoticed, until he manages to get out the magic words. “L-lets... get... some ice cream...” Immediately the Majin releases her grip with another excited squeal. “Yaaaay ice cream! I want the chocolate one with nuts and marshymallows!” While she zooms over to the counter, the champ waddles after her while quietly catching his breath.
“Yeah... Sure thing...”
Question of the Moment 6: If you could thread with any one player character on the site, which would it be? The Charentis Project - Cuz it would be funny for the smol and dumb to meet the tol and smart~!

Question of the Moment 1: What is your character's greatest fear? Greatest personal wish? The mere idea of fear is antipodal to the concept of a samurai. However I can make it very clear if anyone laid a finger on my family, including my dear wife and my in-laws, they would lose the finger which came into contact with them. ((OOC: Koma's greatest fear is loss of his family/loved ones. ))As to greatest possible wish? The Dragon Balls don't exist, so what would it matter? But I do believe it'd be nice to be able to resurrect Ma-Te of the Tea Clan, my brother-in-law and best friend of many years. His death was not his own failure, but my own indecision. So if Genies and Dragon Balls were more than fairy tales, his resurrection would be my wish. Question of the Moment 2: What is your character's favorite food? Most hated food? I greatly enjoy Beef Stew or Wild Game Stew. Outside of that, Beef Curry with Rice. I eat all food, but my least favorite food is that of a strawberry. There is something tainted and warped about something meant to be sweet tasting so bitter. Question of the Moment 3: Describe your character's primary abode/home. If they're a vagrant like a certain Koma cosplaying Tuffle, describe your homeless encampment. My home is at the Zen Teahouse, where I have a small wing of rooms for myself, my wife, and our children. It is built in the traditional Pig Demon Duchies stye, albeit with modern security measures put in, and modern conveniences. The only area I really have to myself, though, is my forge and workshop, which is a garage on the edge of the property. Question of the Moment 4: What is your character's favorite Broken Destiny universe fast food restaurant? As a Samurai, Prince of the Pig Demon Duchies, and Daimyo of the Dandelion Clan, you would surely think it to be Burger Samurai, no? But to be honest the best food and time I had was eating Namekean food with my wife at Papa Warshboard's. My children enjoyed it when we went to the Little Saiba Garden, but they are currently barred from the location after young Ma-Te and Kokeshi tried to Saibanap a Saibaman to be their Saibaman Butler. I have had lunch with my grandfather several times since he marked me as his primary heir. He is a very opinionated man. Scene coming later.Question of the Moment 6: If you could thread with any one player character on the site, which would it be? Probably Bass. I feel like Koma and Bass would be funny to play off of each other, especially given both are so notoriously serious.

"Oh dear, this is going to be humiliating..." Question of the Moment 1: What is your character's greatest fear? Greatest personal wish? "I-I knew it... Look, okay, technically I'm not supposed to tell you this but... I trust you can keep a secret- or else I'll beat the &%@! out of you, you... Little twerp. I'm afraid of letting down my superiors. My continued existence is thanks to them, and if I under perform they can pull the plug and when I die, that'll be it. I'm terrified. I don't want to go. But I don't want to lose my dignity by begging them to spare me if it comes to that. It is truly my greatest of fears." She looked pale, wide eyed and short of breath, contrasting her typical stoic and composed posture. As she recomposed herself, her fear turned to rage. A wild smile mixed with hatred and excitement graced her face. "That last question was a little tough, I'll give you that punk. This one? This one's a walk in the park. I hate those savage primates, and I hate anyone that has anything to do with them. I heard some low level &%$#head researchers among my kind have been using Saiyans in experiments? What the hell? Don't they know they're contaminated? You can't purify the monkeys, there's no procedure in the universe that can fix the genetic mistake they are. The only way to purify them is with a big enough gun. My greatest wish is to end the Saiyan Race, and I'll gladly die fulfilling that duty." She said. Despite being true, her greatest desire in that sense had a rocky foundation of propaganda, misinformation and manipulation. If she learned the truth, she could change! Question of the Moment 2: What is your character's favorite food? Most hated food? "These questions are pretty personal, though watch out, too personal and I'm gonna break your neck. Anyways, this is another hush hush thing- I feel like this line of analysis you're performing is going to have a lot of that. Back in the Tuffle-Saiyan War researchers provided Tuffle militants with rations, and some of us got to pick what type of rations we got. I've always tried to remake their protein rations, the meat was vat grown to perfection, and it gives me the energy I need to perform. No, no, I understand that sounded sensational but I didn't say that for an advertisement." She clarified, letting out a cough. "As for most hated, I mean, that's easy. Who the hell eats vegetables? Wait- you didn't think I'd eat anything other than meat did you? What kind of energy does 'broccoli' or 'carrots' or 'grapes'-" She had no idea grapes weren't vegetables. "-have? I burn what I eat a hundredfold, I'm wasting my time if I'm eating dainty foods like veggies. Stupid question, idiot." Question of the Moment 3: Describe your character's primary abode/home. If they're a vagrant like a certain Koma cosplaying Tuffle, describe your homeless encampment. "I'm gonna be honest with you pal. My home's like a technologically advanced cardboard box right now- m-mind you it's not permanent! I guess to give you more substance, I can explain the laboratory I'm cloned in. After my war achievements and military career as a Supersoldier gained traction, a facility was prioritized with limited funding to continue my project in the background- my project wasn't actually 'mine', it was the researchers and their descendants that initially made me what I am. Every generation they added enhancements and cloned those into the next, rinse and repeat- I'm getting off topic &@%! why didn't you tell me sooner?! Ahem, right. The facility is currently, unfortunately, lodged into Mount Symbar at an approximate elevation of 32,000m. After having crashed here somehow- god this Corpses psyche got scrambled, it now exists in a significantly deteriorated state and at a mildly inconvenient ten or so degree angle compared to being perfectly level. Inside is a little nightmarish with you know... A few dozen generations of no contact or interaction from fellow surviving Tuffles or natives. Think of it as a gigantic block of steel that's bent in a reverse U shape, as half of it was sticking out of the mountain and bent by the weight of what remained of a landslide on impact. Inside it's just an absolute disaster. No power, meaning no lights or cleaning bots. Doors have no power, only thing that is powered are sensors that activate defense mechanisms like turrets. In the main cloning chamber where my project is- was... worked on, there's rows and rows of vats that have mostly exploded as previous Corpses never got released due to all researchers inside being dead on impact with the mountain and there are no automated functions for clone dispersal given the finesse and rehabilitation required in the process. That's great and all, right? Here's the kicker. The pressure of extended growth inside a confined space damaged those Corpses psyches enough to where the automated sensors linking me to the clone network thought I was dead. Good thing that they did, because the mutated amalgamous blobs of organic material that became of those things would've had my brain in it had it not done so. Now they just... Sort of writhe and eat each other to survive, it's nasty. Then there's where I'm at, one of the last remaining mainstream vats. After this- which by the way the vat is at 100% capacity and my cheek is mashed against the glass at this point, it's the dinky half sized back-up vat. Please help. Was that too much info? Doesn't matter, you'll listen whether you like it or not." Question of the Moment 4: What is your character's favorite Broken Destiny universe fast food restaurant? "I-I... Why do you have to put me on the spot like this? Hm... I honestly can't tell you. I know back before I was forced to live multiple generations in vats only to be slowly crushed- aha, the Tuffles had a lot of information about that planet. I don't know if any of those chains are still around these days though. However the strangest thing has kept me company all of these years. Some sort of broadcast, and they feature types of people I've never seen- they also sometimes feature Saiyans... Which... I mean, I can pass it up as a wildlife documentary or something. Out of all the commercials, I think I like Hasky's the best. No nonsense, sounds like a place that serves big portions of meat. Everywhere else includes other crap that I don't care about, and has portions so small I'd have to humiliate myself by ordering everything on the menu or something. I thought the Ox King's place was also a little appetizing, but for such a big legacy the guy serves really dainty portions of meat you have to cook yourself. Absurd, I don't want to waste time cooking my food, there's a reason I'm going to a restaurant! Not. To. Cook. My. Food! Whew, got that out of my system. I get really frustrated and I can't really... Communicate outside of my thoughts, so I can get pretty emotional in my current circumstance. Might have something to do with why the other Corpses spiraled out of control into mutated non-humanoid monsters. Help." Question of the Moment 5: Vegeta and Goku (Kakarot) have a lot of in universe media out about them. Gohan is the second Mister Satan and the star of 'Mr. Satan's Neighborhood' on Public Broadcasting near you. Almost all of the Z Fighters are famous in their own ways. If your character could eat lunch with one of them, which one? Describe the scene. "Ha, what an excellent question, you might just survive after all. Good thing for you, I'm a fountain of knowledge about these people. Do you know what... One... Six... Eight... Maybe nine... No, it was definitely double digi- Whatever, a ton of generations of being broadcast the PCN- Pilafland Cartoon Network in case you don't know, does to a person? Well let me tell you, with no other stimulus I am a vast library of PCN lore. The deep lore, from its earliest days to the most recent episode of the Pilaf Prank Show. Now more in line with the question, out of all of these fighters featured on the show... I- I gotta tell you eighty percent of them are doctored up monkeys, I can smell them because the broadcast is practically beamed into my head- I can tell. It's that musky greasy hair. I think I'd have to pick that Buu guy. He's into sweets, but he really knows how to have a good time." There was a moments pause. "Wait, you want me to explain how the scene would go? What the hell, are you on drugs? Tch, fine. I... I walk up to... To Majin Moos. Turns out- woah, surprise, Majin Buu... I..." There's a pause before a light muttering. "-I hate this... Ahem! Anyways, we meet. He makes weird fat bubblegum sounds, he gets his sweats and then he accompanies me to Hasky's. Basically, I hate to admit this but he's here because he's extremely fat and I don't look as gluttonous because he's there with me devouring sweats and being rotund. H-hey, I'm just saying it how it is. You expected an emotional response? Well, I think myself a logical person." A complete lie. Question of the Moment 6: If you could thread with any one player character on the site, which would it be? "Hm... If I could meet anyone other than one of those fighters from the other question... Tricky one. I'm sure there are a lot of people that haven't appeared on the PCN, but those aren't people I even know exist at this point. The people I have seen in promotional material and advertisements are probably all dead. Though more recently, there was this... Fox-Earthling-Majin girl that's had some screentime. I think we have a lot in common, I wish I could give you a better answer to this one. I mean it's also a given I'd love to meet up with some of my old colleagues if any of them are still continued to this day. I won't tell it to their face though, actually, I'll probably say the reverse. I just hate giving people the win y'know? Like, they shouldn't get to feel validated that I like them or something. That's ridiculous. Still stuck in a vat. I have like, thirty or so years left at best. Less than one here, the vat glass is literally bulging outwards at this point. Help."

Question of the Moment 1: What is your character's greatest fear? Greatest personal wish?"Uh, isn't this question rather personal...? It's hard for me to answer what's my greatest fear, honestly - not that I do not fear anyone, it's just, it's hard to pick from so many equally terrifying options. I don't want to think about what would happen if I were captured again, I'd rather not think about what it feels to be buried underground and suffocated, merely mentioning either of those is enough to send chills running down my spine. The winner, though, is probably turning out to be inadequate. Imagine, showing up to an incident merely to offer your aid, only to be told off for being useless, or, worse, merely because of my species - just because we haven't been heroic for eight hundred years. No, no, I can't ever let myself experience that! The second part of the question is easier to tackle. When I awoke after my first death, I hoped to return to a world where the Tuffles have rebuilt, rebounded, and are once again in the idyll we used to have. I still hope to experience that one day. I really hope to make the world a better place - but at the same time, I really hope it sticks." Question of the Moment 2: What is your character's favorite food? Most hated food?"A few decades before the climax of the Saiyan War, one rather... mad chef and biological engineer working for the Nectarine estate came up with the ridiculous idea of meat apples. They're apples, you see, much like the ones we grew in the garden, and they taste like apples... but their internal structure is meat-like, and they provide a lot more protein. Somehow, it actually turned out tasty, and I enjoyed them back during my first life. Very spicy foods, especially ones based on meat, like hot wings, are probably the least to my liking. What's the point if I have to take a glass of water with me if I want to take more than a single bite from my lunch, especially when that kills the hot taste you were there for? As soldiers, though, we were expected to be able to eat anything provided, so it isn't like I could never eat some spicy food if there was no other option." Question of the Moment 3: Describe your character's primary abode/home. If they're a vagrant like a certain Koma cosplaying Tuffle, describe your homeless encampment."...Why are you looking at me? What did I say? I don't even know who this "Koma" person is, and I am certainly not dressing like them! Whenever me and Paizu have to set up camp for the night, I always aim to be as practical with the setup as possible. First, I search the immediate area for a place which has just enough space and isn't in full view for everyone in the surrounding five miles to see. If the climate is cold enough, I set up a campfire, otherwise I make a small fire in a burrow over which I can cook my food, and cover it up afterwards. Best to have access to a source of water nearby to wash myself and my equipment, and if there's something softer nearby to sleep the night on, like leaves, then that's great too. I bring some things with Capsules, too, but only minimal things like food storage and maybe a mattress. It'd be great to set up a Capsule house for myself, but that's just begging for bandits or worse to find my place of sleep. Besides, I don't mind the humble life." Question of the Moment 4: What is your character's favorite Broken Destiny universe fast food restaurant?"Personally I quite enjoy Frappea's, they are fast and functional and their meatballs are a joy. I quite often end up in the North during my travels and I always know what to expect when heading to one of their restaurants. One day I am going to challenge the Tyrant Burrito in Burrito Bass, however, and much like every other tyrant, it will cower in fear." Question of the Moment 5: Vegeta and Goku (Kakarot) have a lot of in universe media out about them. Gohan is the second Mister Satan and the star of 'Mr. Satan's Neighborhood' on Public Broadcasting near you. Almost all of the Z Fighters are famous in their own ways. If your character could eat lunch with one of them, which one? Describe the scene.wip Question of the Moment 6: If you could thread with any one player character on the site, which would it be?"One day I am going to meet every Tuffle and every character who suffered under the Tuffles, prove to one side that I can be a hero too, and prove to the other side that maybe our current path has been wrong all along. I'm sure even people like Charentis and Cerola have some good in their hearts."

Question of the Moment 1: What is your character's greatest fear? Greatest personal wish?
Starting off simple, eh? Fine, fine. As for Maxine… it would most certainly be having the Shinobu Clan crumble, even with her assistance. As a machine, she is outright incapable of being negligent or a traitor herself, so the most logical fear would be having it all fall apart anyway. Then, she would have truly failed Duchess Rhyme… after that, there is only oblivion. Oh, she’s scared of storms, too. They unsettle her. Can a machine have primordial memories, I wonder?
A machine’s greatest wish – is such a thing really possible? Well, it would surely be to serve Duchess Rhyme in the flesh once more, right? But, the dead can’t be brought back. Such a wish is just fantasy. But, clinging to a dying dream regardless… maybe it’s not a mistake. Without playing with time, though, she’d really like to have another big non-combat job – once, she had to clean up the Shinobu’s tax records. It took weeks upon weeks of work, but sorting through numbers and checking testimonies; it felt cool. A lot of the staff admired her effort, too. It felt good.
Waka, on the other hand… she’s already lost a lot, so there’s not quite as much she’s outright afraid of anymore. Being cast away again would not bother her for a moment – no, in fact, she tries not to hold onto anything, in preparation for that rejection once more. Her true fear now would probably to be lose all her Majin powers… they’d given her back her life, after all. Without them… she’s just an overweight fox.
She’s a bit old and cynical for wishes, though. A dream, even, is probably too much for her. Just living is all she’s got. If she had something she was hoping for, it is probably recognition and fame. She’s been nothing more than a punk and a fall-guy for so long, she would like to be in the spotlight for something meaningful just once more. Whether it’s being a hero or a villain, though… she no longer cares.
Question of the Moment 2: What is your character's favorite food? Most hated food?
Suffice to say, Maxine has no stake in those matters. She can taste, and technically eat, but only a tiny amount and only really for the sake of appearances or testing for poison. She finds being encouraged to eat quite irritating, in fact; and doesn’t really find any pleasure in taste. She would far, far prefer to be cooking than eating. All that said, she was a tiny preference for sour things; and really enjoys preparing cocktails. It’s a Shinobu staple. On the flip side, simple stews and microwave meals; things like that take the presentation out of cooking. What worthless affairs.
Waka, is the opposite, unsurprisingly. She’s a gourmand to the bitter end, and then maybe the spicy end as well; but definitely the sweet end. Number one is sweets, like many Majin, but particularly cold desserts; the more complex – and large – the better. She has a particularly soft spot (among a great many soft spots) for ice cream. The worst is a much harder question. She despises fancy restaurants and their tiny, flowery dishes… flavour and presentation is important, but there has to be substance, too! The Western Lands need to rethink their culture!
Question of the Moment 3: Describe your character's primary abode/home. If they're a vagrant like a certain Koma cosplaying Tuffle, describe your homeless encampment.
As much as she ends up cooped up in the Millennium Royale and behind a desk in Plastic Beach, Maxine’s apartment in the Shinobu Clan’s headquarters is her true home. Following her promotion, she has a studio apartment as befitting of the clan’s luxurious nature; but she doesn’t tend to use much of the room.
A smooth modern room, all in black, but with so much empty space… it feels a little desolate. However, there are signs of life. A gunsmithing table and all kinds of tools and gun lockers are the main attraction, and her closet is quite full of various outfits – not just suits! Of course, she has no need for a bed, but she does have a similar low table for lying on when she needs to charge – as a Drain-type, she does have a battery life! A couch also stands out, as well as a TV; doubtlessly devoted to her gaming hobby; though she hides her consoles well. And, finally, there’s what usually greets people first… Masumi, usually snoozing the corner on his dog bed, quite content with his new life.
Waka is not so lucky. She barely scrapes enough together to pay the rent for her tiny apartment, which barely has 10 square meters to work with. It’s really just a place to sleep and eat for Waka, while she works in West City. One day, she’d like to move to the manor she’s been putting so much work into rehabilitating, but as it is she can’t afford the travel time – transport at her size is just too costly and difficult. Her room is messy, but not unkempt; she takes good care of her things. Most of all, she tries to keep her pantry very well-stocked; hunting down every local sale making the most of it. It’s tough, being big.
Question of the Moment 4: What is your character's favorite Broken Destiny universe fast food restaurant?
Fast food? Fast food, for the Shinobu?! That’s the real joke question here. They would not even consider it! Well… anyone in the top rungs, anyway. Maxine doesn’t eat, so she obviously has no preference, but Hatsuka and the gangers of the clan lean towards Dragon’s Bowls. The so-called ‘Burger Samurai’ can go die; they would never offer a single Zenni to a rival clan with so little class.
Waka – Majin Moo’s, of course. But, she’ll really settle for anything that’s cheap and tastes good; nutrition be damned. Alas, she can very rarely splash out on it with her budget.
Again with food? Of course, Maxine can’t have lunch… but she could host, or at least have a coffee date or something. She has zero belief in the Z-Fighters, and mostly believes the remaining few are fakers or should leave their ways behind. The world doesn’t need heroes anymore, it needs a future. That said… if she actually knew them all, and could choose, then there’s an obvious answer. She would most certainly meet with Android 16, and take the chance to have perhaps the only talk with someone similar to her. Contentment with one’s destruction, mixed feelings about their creators, and the way the world can be appreciated through a CPU – they are matters she can’t discuss with anyone else, even cyborgs. She might not be able to appreciate the birds singing quite as much, but… maybe she can learn to.
Waka would not take the obvious choice – Majin Buu is annoying and loud. Not her type at all. And, given Android 21 is squarely in the villain category as well as the ‘doesn’t exist’ one, she has other preferences. She would probably settle for Mr Satan – he’s a well-to-do guy who seems fun to be around, and has a good head for business on his shoulders. He has a good sense of self-awareness, which is something Waka also prides herself in. They would probably bicker about a lot, and Waka might be betrayed by her image of such an icon, but… at least there’d be something. She just doesn’t care for ‘heroes’ anymore.
Question of the Moment 6: If you could thread with any one player character on the site, which would it be?
I’ve always had an ear out for a thread between Maxine and Luther – she does adore indie artists, and rap above all else. I always liked to think she had his old mix tape hidden away somewhere, as one of her prized possessions. He might not wouldn’t appreciate the attention, much less from a yakuza hitman, but there is at least one soul out there who thinks his music efforts were worth it.
Err, as for Waka… she’s always been way harder to write for, so this is a tough one. Probably Lilith. I think the witch might hate her, but alas, Lilith would probably be right in Waka’s strike zone. I don’t think she’d mind being the big strong dumb one for her.

Question of the Moment 1: What is your character's greatest fear? Greatest personal wish? Cayle's greatest fear is to fail at freeing his family and village, and the other pickles. He's also equally afraid of being locked in this war forever playing at freedom in the shadows of acting long before. He has other minor fears, but the majority of them are suppressed. His greatest personal wish or want is to be able to find the other members of his family, and to save them – as well as to be able to protect his fellow Pickles. Question of the Moment 2: What is your character's favorite food? Most hated food? Period? Heroes' Drupe, a cherry like fruit from the Planet Plant. On Earth? It's likely tacos or the like. When it comes to hated food? If you can call Tuffle nutrient paste food, then no holds barred, that. If not, then I suppose he isn't fond of corn.

Question of the Moment 1: What is your character's greatest fear? Greatest personal wish?“My greatest fear is not being strong enough to protect the people I love!” Tiger Lily nearly shouted at the top of her lungs with a sense of panic in her voice, “My greatest wish is to make Arashi happy! As well as my friends because it is very important to me.”The red headed teenager’s attitude changed dramatically at the concept by swaying her head side to side gleefully. After a beat she began to browse through her Capsule Corp cellphone of all the pictures she took with her friends in Pilaf Land, the happiest place on earth, and was lucky to have friends that helped her earn a lifetime pass to the theme park after saving Marshmallow Summit from a carrot meteor. A few of the photos were of Rosemary, a fennec fox beast woman who tutored Arashi, and managed the crops growing near the Pilaf Land tree house. Even Lilith Nevermore had candid photos taken of her, one in particular was of her eating shaved ice with honey from a glass bowl that one of the robots snapped in their surveillance footage. Question of the Moment 2: What is your character's favorite food? Most hated food?A blush turned on her cheek when she thought about it because she honestly ate everything. “My favorite foods are tomato soup, grilled cheese, BLT sandwiches, spaghetti, roasted turkeysaurus rex, apple cider, mandrake tea and anything Cayle makes!”The truth was, she was listing the foods her friends liked, she had no personal favorites, when she could remember their favorite dishes instead.
"I am allergic to pineapple...so I guess it's my most disliked food despite being a native islander."
Question of the Moment 3: Describe your character's primary abode/home. If they're a vagrant like a certain Koma cosplaying Tuffle, describe your homeless encampment.“I was born on a remote island my father Koba Kalabasa inherited from his adopted parents. Unfortunately I never had the chance to meet them because they were quite old and passed away. An elderly fisherman lives on the island adjacent to my home island and is very kind. After studying for final exams I stayed at my Uncle Toad Lily’s apartment in South City. I have made several friends ever since!” Ty rubbed the back of her neck nervously, “I also met Cayle who was unaware he could fly like my father since their power levels were similar. Incidentally, we kissed when he scooped me up to carry me back home to meet my parents, and the rest is history!”A soft chuckle escaped her lips through clenched teeth, “We made a trip to Pilaf Land where we developed the land for a treehouse on a sapling of strength as a vacation home. Ever since we met Arashi alone in the woods, we remained in the area a bit longer to catch him up with some training. Rosemary tutors him in our absence while Cayle and I rescue Saiyans from Tuffle Bunkers.”The red headed teen clenched her fists briefly, “Our last rescue mission was overwhelming so Cayle managed to purchase Ensalada Island from Taco King and convert it as a Saiyan sanctuary. It’s our primary base of operations to help people recover from past trauma. I plan to bring Arashi there someday but the Saiyan orphans are a bit rowdy and I don’t want him to get hurt so he needs to get strong enough to take them all on!”
Question of the Moment 4: What is your character's favorite Broken Destiny universe fast food restaurant? “Taco King, of course, but that’s mainly because I haven’t tried many others. Does the food at Pilaf Land theme park count? Shu Marshmallows and hot cocoa is very delicious, you can get it at Marshmallow Summit lodge. I also love the Pilaf Gang Lemonade its refreshing when you spend all day there.”Question of the Moment 5: Vegeta and Goku (Kakarot) have a lot of in universe media out about them. Gohan is the second Mister Satan and the star of 'Mr. Satan's Neighborhood' on Public Broadcasting near you. Almost all of the Z Fighters are famous in their own ways. If your character could eat lunch with one of them, which one? Describe the scene.
“Who cares about a monkey boy when you can hang out with Emperor Pilaf? That’s a no brainer! Shu and Mai are his best friends and have been in so many cool adventures like meeting a witch named Baba Yaga and collecting the dragon balls to summon the mighty dragon Shenron! He has even boldly faced Piccolo Daimao in a hovering craft, so that he can trap him inside a rice cooker, he is so brave!”Tiger Lily was under the effects of a wish from the dragon balls, Emperor Pilaf succeeded in being admired by the world granted by Sheron, so she evidently had no idea that parts of the stories were changed in his favor. Especially since he released Piccolo Daimao from the rice cooker, not trapping him in it, which is what Ty believed happened based on the children’s picture books.
A moment later, Emperor Pilaf and friends enter the room, and Ty's eyes begin to glitter at the sight of the trio. "Pinch me, I must be dreaming!"
"It is I, Emperor Pilaf, your mighty ruler of earth!" A soft chuckle escaped his sharpened teeth.
"Long live Emperor Pilaf!" Shu, Mai, and Ty raised their hands to bask in the glory of the Emperor.
"As my loyal subjects, you must spend all your zeni on Pilaf Land, all proceeds are for the purposes of making the earth a glorious lesser version of me!"
Question of the Moment 6: If you could thread with any one player character on the site, which would it be?“Cabin, he would be a good influence to the saiyan orphans on Ensalada Island. Especially with how troublesome Tuffles have been. We need to stand in solidarity in order to strive for freedom and peace on earth.” A cold sweat formed on her forehead, she was having trouble remembering what happened between UN-11, and the red fox beastman that smelled like a saiyan. It was possible she was still suffering from a concussion in the aftermath and if she tried to force herself she nearly fainted from trying so hard.

Post by Zaru on Jul 13, 2021 4:34:26 GMT -8
Question of the Moment 1: What is your character's greatest fear? Greatest personal wish?
Zaru's greatest fear, more than anything else, is the idea that he'll become what he was predicted to be by so many of the Krillin Clan as a boy; a savage and ruthless killer, who doesn't care about martial arts. Every time he gives in to his darker urges, or if he kills anyone, he will feel that reality getting closer. Truthfully, he doesn't realise the pretentiousness about martial arts moral purity that's entered his family, or that both Krillin and 18 have no issue with killing either. Zaru's greatest personal wish is to become the best martial artist in the world in terms of pure skill, since he's accepted that power isn't something he has a lot of naturally. Wrapped up with that is his fantasy of surpassing and one day defeating Krillin, if only because it'll prove to himself and to the rest of his clan that he is a real martial artist and not just a violent thug.
Question of the Moment 2: What is your character's favorite food? Most hated food?
Zaru's favourite food is fish, easily, by a big margin. Especially since he was basically raised on it, living in the Southern Islands for so long. Zaru's most hated food is pizza, but it basically applies to any food he eats where he has that nagging feeling that it isn't contributing to his build or healthy. He just hates pizza in particular because he doesn't enjoy the taste of it, or how easy it is to get.
Question of the Moment 3: Describe your character's primary abode/home. If they're a vagrant like a certain Koma cosplaying Tuffle, describe your homeless encampment.
Zaru's house is a fortified building, built in traditional Japanese-style architecture, out in the great southern desert. It is perched at the top of a winding mountain path that is notoriously hard to hike up, partly because he likes isolation and also because just leaving and entering can be a form of exercise and training. He has a lot of rooms in there, and is considering converting some of it into a future dojo, but hasn't told anyone about that yet.
Question of the Moment 4: What is your character's favorite Broken Destiny universe fast food restaurant?
Zaru is a Midnight Son loyalist, since he really enjoys Eastern Lands-style food in particular. Papa Washboard's does come in at a close second, though.
Zaru felt a little out of place, being dressed like a 'normal' person for once. Hoodie and jeans wasn't that normal, he guessed, but the old man had asked him to wear something other than his robes if they were going to meet. The restaurant itself was fancier than he was expecting, and he wasn't really sure where the old man was as he stepped further in. He supposed that the guy was short, so it wasn't like he could be seen easily, but the lack of a certain facial feature did make him stand out. Before he could look any more, he was interrupted. "Zaru." He glanced to the side, and saw a man with three eyes, wearing the robes of a northern martial artist. He was bald, and had a killer look in his eyes. Zaru was about to object, and then he saw the sigil of the Crane Hermit on those robes - not just the Crane Hermits in general, but THE hermit. Oh, great. He paused for a moment and awkwardly sat down opposite of the man, a single chair to the side of the table inbetween them. "So, what? The old man stiffed me so we can talk, is that it?" The triclops simply stared at him, not even having ordered food, just tea sitting in front of him as a waiter approached Zaru. Before he could even ask, he was interrupted. "Just get me the fish." Eventually, the Crane spoke. "I was asked to speak with you, actually. Your family has been very concerned about you, and how hard it is to figure out what's going on." "Why'd he ask you? He hasn't lost his marbles already, has he? Or does that eye let you read minds?" No matter what he said, and no matter how hard he stared back, the same violent energy that was always in his eyes, the triclops never glanced away, never broke off eye contact. He figured this must have been the Hermit, but what was all this about? Did he really have to think the old man asked him all the way down the mountains just to be a bother? "You should be more respectful towards him, and no. I don't need more than two eyes to see through you, Zaru."Zaru's eyes narrowed as his food was already brought over, and he wondered who this guy thought he was. "Oh, yeah? Who even are you, and what do you think you see, huh?" There was a more aggressive cadence in his voice, though his volume didn't raise. Before there was anymore answers, he saw a little figure - it looked like a kid, with extremely white skin and pale cheeks. Above him was floating a bowl of noodles that slowly lowered onto the table in front of the triclops. "They didn't have the ones you liked, Tien, so I just got you the house special."He felt a little less intense as he watched in confusion, seeing the small figure hop up onto the other free seat while Tien spoke. "That'll be fine. Thanks, Chiaotzu." Slowly, Chiaotzu turned his head and stared up at Zaru with unblinking eyes, which unnerved him for a moment, but he didn't show it on his face, and he'd never admit it. "This is the troublemaker, huh?" Chiaotzu simply went back to his noodles as Zaru's unamused face looked to Tien again. "You just sharing my personal busienss around?""Chiaotzu is like my brother. Anything I say to him is safe." Zaru glanced over at Chiaotzu again, mostly just to make his sarcastic remark. "Yeah, I can see the resemblance."That got a stern look from both of them - he'd never had a stern look from someone quite that short, so this was a new low. "I understand that you're hurt, but that doesn't excuse what you've done." Zaru stared at him, steely-eyed and refusing to give him an inch. What exactly did this guy know? "I mean it, Zaru. Martial arts isn't something you can use as an excuse to just commit violence. Not when something has you so angry." Zaru didn't like that, not at all - too close to the heart of the matter, of the fact that something was making him angry. He spoke in a low, and almost threatening tone. "Maybe you should give me a demonstration then, geezer."There was a moment where they seemed to lock eyes and simply understand that neither was going to give in, both of them having an intense energy flowing through them. It almost seemed to steam off Zaru's body as he wondered if the Hermit would take him up on his offer, if he would reach across the table and try to beat him there, and then. Uncle Amon had told him stories about the Crane Hermit; maybe they were true, or at least the rumoured ones. Instead, even as Chiaotzu nervously glanced between them, there was just silence, and no action. Zaru got thrown off a bit as Tien did nothing, and soon the triclops seemed to simply realise something, grabbing the chopsticks from the table and pulling them apart. "Eat." Zaru's eyebrow raised as all the tension and pressure was driven out of him, and suddenly he felt small. Like a child again, who had just been waited on to wear himself out, so his trantrum would end. "What? E-Excuse me?"He rarely stuttered, but felt so thrown off. The other man radiated this aura of constant seriousness, and of little regard for how flippant Zaru was being. "You will be fine, Zaru. Promise me that you'll take your time, and enter the World Martial Arts Tournament. Do that, and Krillin will know that you're alright."Zaru wasn't sure if it was a bribe, or a threat, or whatever. All he knew was that Tien was offering to get the old man off his back, and all for entering a tournament? Well, that and 'taking his time', whatever that meant. Still, he could see where Uncle Amon had learned, now. He could see shadows of him in this man. Or maybe it was this man he saw shadows of in his uncle. "...Okay." The answer wasn't firm, or authoritative. He just knew that now, when he entered, maybe he'd have an audience. He wasn't sure. Maybe he never would be. Question of the Moment 6: If you could thread with any one player character on the site, which would it be?
Lilith Nevermore for sure - I don't believe we've had a chance to really interact, and I think it'd be great to form a dynamic with them, since Zaru would feel naturally protective towards her after his experience during Shadow Anomaly, whereas I can imagine she would hate him for killing Atalan, while being a martial artist on top of that.

“Welcome viewers! It’s Mad Brad, and this is another episode of Mad Brad’s Crazy Adventures! I decided to come out here in the freezing arctic to meet an Ice Man! Yes; a man found in the ice by the locals here. What did you say his name was?”
The microphone motioned over to a blond man, Tobias, who was smiling brilliantly for the camera. “His name is Grisha. He’s our protector here.”
“That is amazing. Could you take us to him?”
<CUT>
The camera man was trembling, pointing his lens right in the giant’s face. Grisha’s graphite eyes stared into the lens, appearing enlarged with how close he was. His nostrils then flared, giving the viewers a close up of his hairy nostrils.
“Holy smokes! He’s bigger than we expected!” Mad Brad exclaimed. He looked over at the blonde girl, Lena, who was with him and asked, “Does he speak?”
Lena nodded. Her mitted hands were folded against her lap, clenching each other out of nervousness in front of the camera. “Uh, y-yes. Yes; he does.”
“Could we ask him some questions?”
“Yes; that shouldn’t be a problem.” The girl looked over to Grisha and called for his attention, “Grisha! This man…”
“Mad Brad!” he exuberantly repeated before flashing a cool grin at the camera as it panned over to him.
“Um…Mr. Brad wants to ask you some questions.”
Grisha took his attention away from the strange device the cameraman carried and regarded Brad with a scowl.
“What do you fear Grisha?”
Grisha rested his fists against his hips and proudly exclaimed, “Grisha fear nothing!”
“Wow. Nothing; really?”
“Nope!”
“What about if something happened to the village?”
Grisha’s brows rose and he blinked. Mad Brad laughed at the giant’s surprised expression and stepped behind Lena. “What if something bad happened to her?”
The Saiyan’s expression contorted and an ominous shadow fell over his face. His bottom lip turned upward in anger and his pectoral muscles and shoulders started to become pronounced as his fists pressed into his hips until trembling.
Brad blinked at Grisha’s scary expression and asked, “Did he understand the questions? He looks mad.”
A sweat bead descended down the side of Lena’s head as she sheepishly answered, “He’s really upset.”
Grisha bent his arms at the elbows and raised his fingers like claws as he unleashed a threatening bellow at Brad: “NO HURT LENA!”
Brad’s face paled and he turned to run. “I don’t think he understood the question!”
“RAAAH!”
“Grisha stop it! He’s not going to hurt me!”
The cameraman was hyperventilating as he ran, the camera shaking wildly left and right.
<CUT>
Brad and the cameraman were out of breath and lying in the snow. Lena rubbed Grisha’s forearm as she reassured him, “They weren’t going to hurt me or the village.”
Grisha turned his head dismissively and snorted. Brad sat up, leaving an angel-print of his body in the snow behind him and sighed in relief. “Whew! I thought my goose was cooked! Let’s try a safer question.”
The camera motioned over to Grisha who was giving it a suspicious glare.
“What do you wish for Grisha?”
“Hm?” Grisha asked with a cocked lip.
“A wish Grisha. You know, like wishing on a star.”
The giant made an uncertain face and scratched his head. If he could wish for anything…he peered thoughtfully up at the sky as a dream bubble billowed over his head. Grisha had grown to the size of a titan and was stomping around the mountains as though they were hills. He discovered a herd of walruses upon a glacier and reached down to grasp the entire glacier in his hand. All the walruses were bellowing and vacating it, diving into the water as Grisha brought the iceberg to his mouth and tossed it into his maw like a snack.
<CUT>
Brad was holding the microphone up to Grisha. The giant seemed to have calmed down and allowed him to get closer. “What is the favorite food of a big guy like you? And what food do you hate?”
Grisha grinned happily as he rested his hands upon his hips. “Lena food!”
Lena’s face flashed red and Brad looked at her with raised brows. “Oh?”
The cameraman crept closer to her, causing her face to turn even redder. Lena bowed her head until her hair hid her face like a curtain.
“What food do you hate?” Brad repeated.
Grisha then narrowed his eyes as he glanced over at Tobias. “Tobias food,” he stated without even thinking about it.
Tobias frowned. “Well, you can starve then for all I care.”
“I don’t think Lena will let him starve,” Brad laughed as he teased her.
Lena’s face couldn’t get any brighter before she shouted in her embarrassment, “Grisha! He’s hurting me!”
“What!?” Brad gasped in shock, and immediately looked at the giant who was baring his teeth threateningly at him. “Not again!”
<CUT>
Lena, Tobias, and Grisha entered the wooden, two-story shack. Brad and his cameraman followed, taking in the wooden floors, the cast iron stove, and the hearth that blazed, warming the interior. A pair of giant mysterious horns were mounted on the stone block walls.
“What animal did those belong to?” Brad asked.
“A big, mean yeti we called The White Devil. Grisha killed it,” she explained.
“A yeti? No way! Is this all there is of the 1st floor? It’s simple and straightforward. I like it.”
Lena nodded. “Mhm, upstairs are the bedrooms.”
Grisha was already headed upstairs, his weight causing the steps to creak. Tobias remained downstairs at the lone kitchen table, while Lena escorted the interviewers up. The first door on the right was Grisha’s room. There was a lone bed that seemed too small for the giant. It had fur pelts stacked upon it and a wooden desk, which had a candle to the side of it. Against the wall, across from the desk was a chest of drawers filled with his clothes.
“This room is a bit small for Grisha, isn’t it?” Brad asked.
“Yeah, but it’s all we have. My father has the biggest room.”
“Why don’t they trade?”
“NEVER!” Tobias shouted from downstairs.
Lena smiled a little out of embarrassment and explained quietly, “My mother used to sleep in there. It means a lot to my father.”
“Oh sorry.”
She shook her head. “No worries.”
They stepped out into the hallway, while the cameraman quickly captured Grisha plopping back-first into his bed, with his legs planted over the side. “Down the hall is just my room and that’s pretty much it,” she explained.
“Wow. I like it. Not too bad for an arctic crib!”
Lena arched a confused brow. “Crib?”
<CUT>
“Have you guys ever left the arctic before?” Brad asked.
“Grisha and my father have,” Lena answered.
“Really? That’s awesome. What’s your favorite fast food restaurant?”
“Fast food?” Grisha repeated as he imagined a running snow hare.
“We didn’t eat at anything like that. Grisha and his friend Cabin pigged out at a buffet. It was cheaper than paying at a regular restaurant. You haven’t seen how much he eats.”
“EAT LOTS!” Grisha happily exclaimed with a large grin. He happily patted his hard stomach.
“Oh! We’ll have to record that one day!” Brad exclaimed in excitement.
“Can we not?” Tobias grumbled.
<CUT>
Goku and Grisha were seated on their knees before a picnic blanket laden with a feast. The legend was grinning happily before he raised his arms, bending them at the elbows as he cheered, “Oh man! I’m starved. There’s nothing like a home cooked meal!”
Grisha happily nodded as his tail swished behind him.
“Let’s dig in already!”
The two started grabbing for food: rolls, grilled Cornish hens; bowls of rice; sandwiches, coils of fried noodles, and sweets. There was a lone onigiri filled with sweet red bean paste. Grisha had been reaching for it when Goku snatched it up first, joyfully laughing, “All right! There’s still one left.”
Grisha watched the legend bring the rice cake to his mouth and scowled before lunging and tackling him onto his back. The onigiri flew across the grass as Goku blinked. “What the heck?”
He watched Grisha pounce for it like a big cat, and in a blink, the cake had vanished. Grisha’s eyes widened in shock as he landed only to grasp a handful of grass. Goku’s cheeks were large and round like a hamster’s as he chewed the onigiri.
“Too srowf. Nicess try d’ough!”
Grisha rose some on the balls of his feet. His hands remained planted like paws in the grass as he glared at Goku. Goku audibly swallowed his meal and smirked before bending at the knees. He lowered his stance, extending his left arm with his palm facing Grisha, his fingers curled like claws. His right arm was bent and raised up next to his head—his fingers, similarly curled.
“Don’t be so bent out of shape. Although, I don’t mind letting you vent about it.” He beckoned Grisha with the fan of his hand. “Bring it on.”
<CUT>
Question of the Moment 6: If you could thread with any one player character on the site, which would it be? Grisha would love to meet more of his tailed brothers and sisters. And yes, the tails matter to him. It’s how he identifies them as being his kin.

"Ah, here we go again. I have to admit pal, I kind of enjoy these talks." Question of the Moment 7: What is your character's worst habit? Their most positive tendency? "Easy. I leave my toothpicks on the bathroom counter- h-hey! Don't get the wrong idea, I'm not unhygienic, I just demand those below me clean it up. Tch, that was a close one. Need clean teeth, can't rely on scientists for everything. As for my best practice, hm... Have I ever told you I'm the best chance the Tuffle Race has at eradicating the monkeys? We have so many great minds, but I'm by far the strongest. Like, physically... I don't know... Maybe... Theoretically there's something else... I don't know everything. So anyways, in that sense my best practice is my work ethic. Eat hard, don't play, work harder... I feel like that's not how the saying goes." Question of the Moment 8: Does your character have a code they follow? If so, what is it? Otherwise why is it that they do not have one?"Even hearing this question makes me think of the body odour of apes as they ran around firing visual effects all over the place. As you guessed, I do have a code. It's not necessarily word for word, but in general I am to never associate, befriend, or tolerate the existence of any Saiyan partial or whole. Saiyans are a genetic mistake that only has one fix. Otherwise I like to where I can represent honor and integrity, to act as big as I am and inspire greatness from other Tuffles. I know I'm a project myself, but that doesn't make my story any less achievable to an ordinary Tuffle. Just get in a lab and start sticking needles in yourself. One day you'll get there, or die trying! At least you'll die doing what you loved for science." Question of the Moment 9: What does your character do in their spare time? What are their hobbies?"Really leaving no stone unturned, are you? Well, I guess it's statistically impossible for someone to be tearing apart space monsters and quelling rebellions every waking moment of their lives. Starting in the late years of my first Corpse, I've gotten a massive appetite because of how big I can get. I'd say most of my spare time is spent eating and relaxing to build energy for the next time I have to do something. I'd prefer not to use any energy stimulants on the fly if I can help it. As for my hobbies..." Bubbles fluttered up from her face in the vat, which had a tube connected to it. "Uhm... Well, the Pilaf Cartoon Network has been nice. Though I had previous hobbies before this... Minor... Predicament. Specifically, I enjoyed farming cattle. I like to be involved in every step of the process in making what I eat, I pitched the idea once upon a time to make genetically enhanced cattle to then pass those traits to me, but it didn't get too much traction. It did spark the idea of harvesting hyper-nutrients from them though, which could stimulate existing growth. At least I think, truthfully we haven't necessarily tested that, and the last I heard about it was a long time ago. Of course, the farms I'm talking about were like nothing I've seen on the PCN. I'm talking metal facilities, a lot of animals, not green pastures and straw hats. Though the latter looks relaxing I guess." Question of the Moment 10: Your character finds themselves in a position where they can star in an advertisement of their choosing. What would that advertisement be, why? Or would your character even take the opportunity in the first place?I would want to really knock out some anti-Saiyan multi-media. Get the message to Earthlings that Saiyans are just waiting for a chance to rise up and take over their world. Though if inciting rightful genocide and worldwide warfare isn't on the table, I might have to go with supporting Hasky's or something like that. By supporting Hasky- Wait, no. Actually hold on, that's genius. See, I'm a Tuffle you know? Proof right here. I'd rather support uh..." More bubbles floated between the small gaps of liquid in the vat. "One of the places that sell vegetables. If I can get as many people flocking to those places as possible, I can have Hasky's and the places that sell meat all to myself. And someone else to be a scapegoat for the bill and my appetite." Question of the Moment 11: If your character had to suddenly work a normal job, what would it be and why?"I already kind of eluded to the answer before, but I think I'd love to be a farmer. Sounds quiet, remote, peaceful, and it's strangely poetic. They were raised to be a delicious meal, I was raised to eradicate the Saiyans. I especially like the rural Planet Aspic farmland." She misidentified Earth. "It does look a lot nicer than I remember, but three hundred years can make a lot of things change. Speaking of which, even I've changed. I'm a little worried, since these are unmonitored genetic variations, but that's getting off topic. I'd be a cattle rancher, through and through." Question of the Moment 12: Has your character ever had a crush? If so, what traits from them caused those feelings? Otherwise why haven't they?"Damnit! We were doing so good, to! How am I supposed to answer that, where have I ever had the chance to settle down and have a family?! I've never even thought about it, and putting me on the-..." Her raised voice started to lower, a grouping of bubbles that'd pushed up through a few cracks in the vat popped, and there was silence. "I... Anyone I'd meet could technically be cloned as well, but... Different Tuffles have different priorities. Besides, if I got into a relationship I'd be a liability, and I'd have a weakness when facing the Saiyans that they could exploit. I mean I guess if a day came where our war was over, uhm... I don't really have a crush, no, but I like people that will do everything I say down to the finest details happily." Question of the Moment 13: What is your character's shoe size? (Use North-American Shoe Sizes for ease) What is their favorite type of shoe?"H-hey, that's a trick question. There's no way any of those would fit me. I-I mean I guess I could still math out an answer. If a six sixteen or something is twelve point five inches from front to back, and it increases by an inch for every size up..." Bubbles drifted up, bouncing off her closed eye once before getting lost in the sprawled out mass of hair. "A theoretical size eighteen to twenty, maybe. Something I can answer much easier actually, is the type. See, there's only one shoe type that can handle me, and those are combat boots. Rough, tough, laced up with a lot of heft to them. Most other shoes I'll wear out in a couple of weeks, but those usually last me a month a pair. At least normal ones and when I'm not on assignment. Some Corpses have gotten special clothes that are a bit more durable, obviously I'd prefer those where possible." Question of the Moment 14: How does your character sleep? (Both in length of time, in position, and in detail)"Come on... You must know the state I'm in, right? I... Well, whatever. I sleep for ninety five percent of the day in a vat, and the remaining five percent like this is only a partially conscious state. I can't move or even open my eyes, I can only think, and even then my own thoughts feel like they're a dream. I don't even know if any of this is happening, but it keeps my company. Of course, in the beginning as is standards in cloning chambers we develop vaguely in the fetal position in the beginning. Over forty four years however, my growth has changed that. I'm now very painfully pinned inside of the chamber. I'm starting to wonder if it's going to end here. I thought three hundred years would be more than enough to get help... But... Maybe it's over. Maybe they found us..." A group of bubbles came from the edges of her mouth, bubbling up the tank. "Anyways, back before all this I was still a heavy sleeper. I slept for as long as I could get away with due to the energy my body demanded, and only ever woke up when I was manually woken up by a colleague or researcher. I typically spread out when I sleep, much to the complaint of any bunk mates I might have. Uhm... I typically remember my dreams, and often times they're terrifying and vivid. I don't know why, but I feel like it's part of what comes with me after every Corpse has my mind and consciousness transferred into it." Question of the Moment 15: What is your character's spirit animal? (Only use Earth animals, you fruits, veggies, instruments and appliances, unless you give the animal a full explanation of its taxonomy and stuff) What's their favorite animal?"Y'know I thought this question stumped me, but then it hit me out of nowhere. Out of all the animals I've seen on the PCN of Planet Earthspic I have two in mind, but I have to pick one. I'm stuck between a hippopotamus or a Sperm Whale. Both are terrifying, massive and have a lot of big scary parts. I'm like a humanoid version of that kind of raw power, I don't need any weird gimmicks like Saiyans to get my strength. As for my favorite animal, it's the same line of thinking. The PCN has this great show called Paleontology with Pilaf- I have a conspiracy that the main actor isn't actually Pilaf, but keep that between you and me, I'd rather not deal with a hit squad in my current predicament. Needless to say they talked about some ancient Sperm Whales, called the Livyatan Melvillei, and a giant shark called the Megalodon. Though both of those as far as I know don't exist anymore so... I'd have to go with the Blue Whale. So big it just doesn't have to care about anything and is super powerful, raw power is the way to go- not the same as those darned back alley visual effect powers the Saiyans have." Question of the Moment 16: What's your character's favorite drink? (One answer each for alcoholic/non-alcoholic, if they're of age and actually drink)"You're not trying to ask me for a drink or something are you? Tch, as if. I already answered the question on crushes, the only crushes I have is my crushcount, the amount of Saiyans I've crushed with MY OWN BARE TWO HANDS!" A wave of bubbles seemed to blow out from Charentis's mouth in the vat, and her body slightly jostled within. The glass of the vat seemed to groan from the pressure, but it was formidable stuff. She'd expire of pressure before it cracked. At least, her sanity would. "Ahem, anyways this is an easy answer. What is the most protein packed drink in existence? Milk. However wait- you object? I'm supposed to also have an alcoholic drink? Boom, fifty steps ahead of you, I'm an absolute massive brained Tuffle. Eggnog, alcoholic milk and then some. Nutrition, fun. Funtrition." There was a single bubble that blurbed out from the side of her mouth. Did she chuckle? Question of the Moment 17: What's your character's favorite holiday? Feel free to describe some archaic DB:BD Earth Holiday, or one from ancient Planet Plant or the like. Do they celebrate it now?"I don't mean to rain on your enthusiasm, but I didn't really partake in much when it came to civilian holidays. I was on the expedited path to winning the war against the Saiyans, and even then..." There was a pause. "Needless to say I wasn't involved with much. Though just because I didn't partake, doesn't mean I didn't enjoy any of the ideas. For example, while it wasn't too special at the time for me, when the TAS formed every once and a while they'd have day long ceremonies that I would often enjoy, handing out promotions, awards and honors for things done in the line of duty during the Saiyan War. I... I hope my medals are still around here somewhere. They're special to me." Question of the Moment 18: What is your character's favorite color? Favorite color to wear?"I don't want to be that person but eat &#@! I'm being that person. I actually have two equally favored colors and they're completely opposite of each other and incredibly particular. One of them is specifically cobalt blue, anything but it is mediocre at best. The other one is Rose Red, ninety percent red with a pinch of pink just spices up the color to be so much more than it could be otherwise. I think based on that I'd like one of those floral patterned shirts I sometimes see Southern Islanders wearing on the PCN. Except I'd like my pattern to have a cobalt base with rose flowers. Maybe so it's not too bland the flowers will have like... Yellow centers or something. Whatever, shoot me, ha- jokes on you, this glass is &%$@$@% tough."

Question of the Moment 7: What is your character's worst habit? Their most positive tendency?Eh, that’s pretty subjective, isn’t it? Well, if it’s in my opinion… Maxine, in spite of insisting on being such a professional, is pretty constantly judgemental and harsh on others. For a self-proclaimed unfeeling machine of logic, she tosses people she dislikes out of her consideration quite hastily. Though, maybe more seriously than that, her inability to deal with grief in any sort of healthy manner is… bad. I’m surprised people put up with her constant gloominess. Plus, there’s her tendency to be looking for her own doom… she’s full of bad news, really. Good news, though? Um… a lot of her good qualities can be explained with just ‘she’s a machine’, so I’ll say – in spite of everything, she has an appreciation for art. Kinda? Sorta? When she feels like it? Waka’s just cruel. She got thrown under the bus, so she feels she has the right to throw anyone else she doesn’t like under the bus without any second thoughts. Upon seeing what’s wrong with the world, she took it as a sign to exploit it rather than do something about it; even if she is personally frustrated by such faults. It’s a downward spiral. Still, she’s not a terrible person. While she has her opinions on matters, she doesn’t tend to judge people on their hobbies and duties, and will put up with just about any conversation. She might look bored all the time, but she is listening. Question of the Moment 8: Does your character have a code they follow? If so, what is it? Otherwise why is it that they do not have one? That’s pretty obvious for Maxine. I guess you could say she’s literally following code, if not a code! She blindly obeys the orders of the creator she never knew… in lieu of last words, she can merely followed the spirit of Duchess Rhyme’s lifetime – to let the Shinobu Clan survive to the unknown future. I suppose it’s lofty and often vague like many living people’s ideals, and she too will follow it until she dies. That’s really the only ending for such a dream. ...oh, right. There's also those mottos of hers, aren't there? 'Tomorrow it could be you.' 'Brand your chest with these words - 'Don't rely on anybody.' The only way it should be, for the honourable killer.' What do they mean, exactly? That's for her to know. Mostly she thinks they sound cool, but they do have meanings - maybe just to her, though.
Waka tossed away such things a long time ago. I suppose you could say she believes in ‘look out for yourself first’ and maybe ‘beggars can’t be choosers’, but that’s less a personal code and more a learned lesson. Her life’s rough. She can’t really afford to cling to a moral compass, or she won’t have somewhere to live anymore. Question of the Moment 9: What does your character do in their spare time? What are their hobbies? It doesn’t come up very often, especially since she prefers to hide it, but Maxine has a couple of hobbies. For a robot who has no need for free time, she has a variety. Working on her guns could be argued to be part of her business, but she goes way overboard. She even nicknamed them all! It’s a bit pathetic. Tying into that, she enjoys a lot of video games too – she’s an FPS junkie, unsurprisingly, though I imagine she slips in the occasional weird indie game or fluffy visual novel. She considers the former to be ‘training’, of course, but it’s just feeding her gun nerd side. And, the one she can’t excuse, she’s an audiophile; always hunting for new rap albums and reading music reviews. It helped her learn to talk like the Shinobu, and connect with others, so it is important to her as a part of her past. Err, poor Waka, though – she can barely afford hobbies! She’s a gourmand, obviously, and she’s not a bad cook, but aside from that she often doesn’t have the money or time to fit such things into her schedule. If anything, she’s probably a bit of a martial arts junkie in spite of everything. Her bajiquan is pretty impressive after all, and I haven’t really explained in her backstory how that came about, so she must study it on her own. Otherwise – she likes the mundane things, like gardening and cleaning. Oh, and she likes studying magic, even if she’s terrible at it. How nice. Question of the Moment 10: Your character finds themselves in a position where they can star in an advertisement of their choosing. What would that advertisement be, why? Or would your character even take the opportunity in the first place? Maxine would not care. If it’s on orders, she’ll do it. I guess she’d like to look all formal and handsome, but… she doesn’t really care for fame or materialism, so it’s lost on her. Maybe something about swanky cocktails or nice suits. I don’t even thing an advertisement for something she likes would really appeal to her. It is but a well-edited fantasy, after all. Similarly, Waka can’t be so picky. Work’s work. All she’d really care for is that it pays well, though not being humiliated is a welcome bonus if it’s an option. I guess on one hand, she’d like the attention, but on the other hand, she wouldn’t want to be in the spotlight. Being known for an advert is kind of a paper thin kind of celebrity, isn’t it? Question of the Moment 11: If your character had to suddenly work a normal job, what would it be and why? Maxine already does! Sure, she’s known for being a cool wannabe-hitman and all, but most of the time her work is just… pretty normal. She’s usually a personal assistant to her superiors, but does all kinds of other mundane work – sorting taxes, doing filing, handling housework, managing businesses, organising meetings… she’s both a fantasy gokudo and a real yakuza, you see? If she wasn’t so skilled, she’d surely have been replaced by the Shinobu Clan by now. It’s perhaps one of her best qualities – she doesn’t have an ego about her work or skills, so she’s not some hero who’s above an everyday job. In fact… she rather relishes such work. She doesn’t like fighting. See, see – if putting up with her insecurities is the worst part of a relationship with Maxine, then having someone who is genuinely eager to do all the boring jobs most people hate is probably the best part. Similarly – yeah, Waka works normal jobs all the time! Really shitty ones, mostly! She’s not rich or famous like so many others, so she has to make ends meet. Some are totally mundane – stocktaking, warehouse work, administration, cleaning, or construction; but given her thuggish nature she does a lot of illegal work too – intimidation, being a bouncer, starting fights, being a fall-guy for sports bets, and so on. Suffice to say, she doesn’t have a lot of respect for people who don’t have to work a normal job. Question of the Moment 12: Has your character ever had a crush? If so, what traits from them caused those feelings? Otherwise why haven't they?Maxine… h-has had many crushes, given she works for a rather matriarchal family of demons who are tall and glamourous, but she would not really understand the concept. She’s just a machine! Why was she built like that, you ask? Shinobu Rhyme was always rather whimsical, but she wanted a friend from her butler rather than just a convenience. Hm, though, it’s a bit odd that she only likes girls… Perhaps I will be giving too many easy answers with this, but Maxine’s tastes are a little more complicated than ‘tall girls’ – she likes to be respected, and in spite of her constant complaints about it, she likes to have her feelings taken seriously. She usually doesn’t like to be in charge, but she does like to look ‘cool’ on occasion, so even that flips back and forth a lot. Most of all, though, they’d have to settle for being second to Duchess Rhyme’s memory – and that’s not a welcome position for a lot of people. Perhaps most of note, she did once date Shinobu Hatsuka – err, or more like, Shinobu Hatsuka dated her. It didn’t go beyond a single night out, and it seems to have been a bad experience for both of them. It’s part of Maxine’s hesitancy around relationships… she has learned that she prefers the emotional side of such things, to put it simply. Waka has had crushes, but she’s old enough to realise that they’re just crushes. And, well, you know. Not many people want to go out with a 7’ tall heavyweight fox with an inability to emote on her face. Not to mention one who’s a crass bully and a ruthless tease. But, she’s still fishing. She likes cute, bashful people – boy or girl – who she can tease and toy with, though she’s never that rough with people she genuinely likes. She’s very confident in her looks, so she’d insist on someone who can also appreciate her size. And, she likes shorter people, since – err, well, she has a bit of an ego about her height, but also because she likes to be in a maternal role. I’m sure she gives the best hugs around, and having a date who doubles as a pillow must be quite convenient. She’s dated a few times, but without much success. Poor thing. Question of the Moment 13: What is your character's shoe size? (Use North-American Shoe Sizes for ease) What is their favorite type of shoe? Buuuh. What is this question?! I-I know I’m picky about heights and weight, but I have no idea of my own shoe size, much less America’s measurements for it! Um, um… uh…! M-Math is hard! I dunno, uh… Maxine’s probably, like… a 6.5? Is that small enough? Waka… is huge, so… um… 13? Anyway, the part I can answer. Maxine is obviously all about those nice leather shoes to match her suit, though combat boots are nice and practical. Of course, she doesn’t really have to worry about comfort, so… it’s mostly just about endurance and looks. The Shinobu like their loafers and uggs, and no doubt have tonnes of younger gangers who are sneaker dogs. Gotta have that drip! Hm, though, aside from her… do stockings count as footwear? Ufufufu… Oh, poor Waka. Once again, on her budget, she can’t afford to be choosey. She can’t even fit in most! She has to work with specialty Saiyan-sized stuff, I imagine. If she could dress up nicer, I’m sure she’d want to. But alas. Her own luxury is her pair of fancy loafers… gotta finish that ko-gal look! Question of the Moment 14: How does your character sleep? (Both in length of time, in position, and in detail)Maxine does not sleep. However, she doesn’t have the luxury of Infinite Core-types, so she has to recharge. She just lies on her back, totally still, and shuts down. Usually it’s just for an hour or so, but depends on how low she’s running. She’d probably get more cozy in an actual bed, or if she was doing it to keep someone company, but for her own sake there’s really no point in being picky. Can’t feel anything when shut down, after all, and she can just decide to do it without having to wait for her body to feel like it. No waking up sore, either! I’m a bit jealous. Waka – she probably sleeps like a rock, maybe on her side. Would probably sleep in if she could, but usually can’t afford to, so she always gets up a bit cranky. She would steal all the blankets though, but again… she’s pillowy herself, so that’s probably not the worst thing ever. Doesn’t snore unless she’s really exhausted, fortunately. But, you’d better pray she doesn’t have a dream about a giant marshmallow. Question of the Moment 15: What is your character's spirit animal? (Only use Earth animals, you fruits, veggies, instruments and appliances, unless you give the animal a full explanation of its taxonomy and stuff) What's their favorite animal? Maxine doesn’t usually like being around animals, so that doesn’t really show up on her radar much. Can a machine have a spirit animal? Or is her spirit animal a lithium battery? Maybe a GPU? A-Anyway, fine fine. Not to sound up myself, but I’d say probably something like a kestrel? They’re small birds, they’re held in high regard by nobility, they’re hunters, and they’re pretty well-behaved. Not as iconic or respected as any eagle or owl, but still loved by those who like them. She’s a bit beyond a dog, so I think that’s a good place for her. Otherwise, maybe a stoat? Similarly a hunting animal, but with more personality than any pooch – sleek, smooth, and a small and skilled killer. And again, used by nobility – there was even a law against the poor having them, once upon a time! Plus, their fur has a luxury quality, so you could say that fits the Shinobu. Hmhm, I think I’ve found her derisive call-sign for ISLET, huh? …oh, favourite animal. Hm. Maxine’s a try-hard, so I’d probably say an owl or something. Maybe that’s on her gamer tag. Uh. Waka’s already a fox, so… is that already an answer? If I have to be more creative… hm, a big spoiled ragdoll cat. She’d just like to pass out and sleep on someone’s lap all day, thanks. And get fed every day, without any work… wouldn’t that be nice. She’s not so complicated when you put it like that, is she? Plus she has that independent and ego-centric streak like most cats. Ah, but don’t call her kitten, or you’ll get punched out. Her favourite animal? She likes mice. They’re tiny, affectionate, and have a nice reputation in spite of everything. Rats are welcome too. She’s a slow-moving girl, so in general animals are pretty comfortable around her in spite of her size. Nothing puts animals off like sudden movements, so her lethargy is a serious bonus instead. Question of the Moment 16: What's your character's favorite drink? (One answer each for alcoholic/non-alcoholic, if they're of age and actually drink)Like with the food question… Maxine can’t really appreciate drinks much. But, she at least has more preference there than with food. Non-alcoholic… the professional in her would love to say just water, or lemonade, or something remotely classy; but I bet she likes something silly like sports drinks or soda. Yeah, probably something the young punks in the clan like. Hey, does that mean she’s like – a gamer who drinks energy drinks? That’s pretty sad, man. Alcoholic is more her preference, since… she’s in the Shinobu, and she likes making cocktails. Since the flavour doesn’t matter so much – probably the Blue Moon. It’s a swanky purple cocktail, and the Shinobu are crazy about that colour and such presentation. She’d probably make it a bit more sour than sweet, but the taste comes second to being a company man. Waka probably guzzles down soda, being such a sugar fiend; but she’d prefer fruit juice. Sweet smoothies and such would be top of her list – but, they cost money, y’know! Soda’s cheaper. Hm, I wonder why? Totally nothing corrupt, right? Oh well, oh well. She doesn’t drink too often, surprisingly, but when she does she has a preference for simple mixers rather than anything too fancy. Again, partly due to budget constraints, but she’s just not that picky. Cocktails are so small, anyway! Ah, well, maybe a Long Island Iced Tea would keep her busy. I’m pretty sure I made a Dragon Ball parody of that in one of Maxine’s threads, actually… Question of the Moment 17: What's your character's favorite holiday? Feel free to describe some archaic DB:BD Earth Holiday, or one from ancient Planet Plant or the like. Do they celebrate it now?Secretary’s Day? Ahahah, no, as if the Shinobu would respect that. As much as they really should! Maybe they do. A-Anyway, it’d be Valentines. The Shinobu are rich and comfy enough to flirt around, so it’s fun to be handling all the weird requests and giving the gifts that come about on that occasion. I suppose then White Day too, since it’s the Western Lands. I doubt she does anything for herself, though. Maybe reads some trashy romance visual novel that night. Don’t tell anyone, please. Waka’s big on Halloween, for… reasons. Hey, hey, it’s not just the half-price candy afterwards, honest! She likes the mood of it. It’s a day to goof off a bit. She’s a monster too, right? So, it’s a little hint of acceptance in the crummy world she’s stuck in. And, kids are alright. They’re funny little things. She doesn’t mind playing the clown now and then. Question of the Moment 18: What is your character's favorite color? Favorite color to wear?Well – Maxine probably likes black the most, but the Shinobu are all about purple. It’s always a purple or violet ribbon in their hair; that’s their clan calling card. At least among the VIPs, anyway. It’s an elegant colour that has always been considered a sign of luxury, as well as having a feminine edge to it. Fortunately, Maxine’s hair does the job for her, so she can usually get away with just wearing black. Hm, but don’t tell her that her hair’s pink, rather than purple, or she’ll get cranky. It’s just a light shade! Waka likes dark blues and whites, but she doesn’t really get many chances to be picky about what she wears. So, the most she can do is that signature grape-coloured sweater of hers. Not that I think many people are going to complain about it. Ufufu.
