Cayle Pota, son of Pota Potaset, himself the son of Potaset Potaset, whom was himself the son of Potaset Pota, the very same Potaset Pota who was himself the son of Pota Onio, and so the narration fast forwarded. Right there! STOP! Play. Cayle found himself in the Northern Lands, which had chill winds that reminded him back of Planet Plant, along side Tiger Lily and the others. She had convinced him simply by being herself, and by the promise of the gods' own sport. Snowboarding. Through a series of convoluted events, Cayle had then found himself signed up for a speed contest which allowed people to walk, ski, snowboard, even ride snow balls down the hill, and now he waited for the sound of the starting shot. The icy blue eyed saiyan was focused on this, snowboarding was like flying but without the ki, and the martial prowess. He couldn't fully explain his interest in it, but there was something liberating about it. Perhaps it was the unpredictability, where flight was more like swimming through the air for him. RP Post: There was a hint of nostalgia in a place like this- especially after hearing what was on the line as a reward. Was teleporting cheating? He'd done so to get here in the first place after hearing from his secretary, but... He figured it'd disqualify him. He'd always wanted to live up North again where his journey began, but some things take time.
That didn't even raise mention of what they were doing- either sport he'd never partook in before whether it be skiing or snowboarding. Nevertheless he'd heard mention of the sports once or twice at The Momentum Tower. It shouldn't be too difficult to get the hang of- perhaps for normal people there'd be a learning curve, but he had a lot of powerful tools at his disposal. That had to be the case, right?

RP Post: Will was glad to be able to get to an all-expense-paid trip to Jingle Village. After all, there is someone who lives nearby that he wants to meet during the holidays. However, he can't say no to a little challenge. Especially cause his Flying Nimbus is such a rare ride that they invited him to use it during the race. Was nice of them to allow him to do so, not often one would see a Flying Nimbus in a race, especially down a mountain. Of course, this wasn't going to be easy, anything could happen while traversing down the mountain path. As there were also many pine trees that made traversing difficult. Shouldn't be too much of a problem though. As he got on his cloud at the starting line. He looked towards Bass and Cayle Pota. Given both an encouraging thumbs-up before speeding down the mountain. His Flying Nimbus touching the ground gliding on the snow and surfing on it as if he was on a surfboard. He is going slower than he normally would on his Nimbus but this is the handicap he was given so he would be allowed into the race as him gliding over the snow event just a couple of inches would cause the Nimbus to go too fast and thus have an unfair advantage according to the people that got him to join. Not that he couldn't argue with their logic, it is one of the fastest things on Earth. Word Count: 248
Time: 3tHJP51i1d100 Condition: 1d26
Along the way, Will sees a terrifying creature. An owl faced mammalian that resembles a bear, appropriately known as a Owlbear. That stands in Will's path as he traversed down the mountain. As the Owlbear tried to swipe at Will it ended up being picked up and tossed to the side. The Owlbear shook itself in confusion as it then walked back towards the woods it came from. As Will then got to the finish line in 9 seconds flat.

RP Post: Hotaru had never been invited to such an event before. It was very exciting. He was dressed up in some new clothes. It was comfy, warm, and he could move around in it easily enough. He was used to the snow; back home, at least a long time ago on the estate, it would snow often and he would be allowed some time outside in the snow whenever he had done well in his training. He would always throw himself on the snow and flail his arms and legs about and make snow angels. He would also make snowmen; though the snowmen rarely lasted long as his brothers tended to then use them as practice dummies as soon as he left the area.
Still, he was used to the snow. He went to the starting area and he looked around. There were so many people joining the race. In the air he saw a lot of drones. They were recording every single second of this.
Well, all he could hope was that he didn't mess up too badly and that he made it down in, at the least, good time.
He could win. Or, he could lose. It didn't matter in the end. As long as he had fun, and didn't crash into a tree.1d100·1d26

Juniper and the rest of the Tea Clan took it for granted, but Koma -was- from the Mountains. In and of itself that was true, there was no real arguing it's validity. He was from the Mountains and had always been, the monastary that had helped raise him after his being made an orphan, and the village he had lived in before – they both were named three caves for the caves which the majority of the village took it's refuge from with the monastery on top. So there shouldn't have been a surprise that on this trip to the Northern Lands, Koma had decided to visit the mountains. If there had been, perhaps there would have been even more of a surprise when he used Henjiken to cut a bolder in thirds and then shave it down until it had become a stone snow board, and used that for this competition of speed. Win or lose didn't matter, this was about the fun of the game. Power Level: 29,830 PL. Time: hJQjZthG1d100Condition: 1d26Result: "Hey! You! Grey Scar boy! He stood out. He was, after all, a cyborg. He was dressed in casual clothing. No winter attire for him. The cold didn't bother him too much. He felt it, but considering his arm - his one good arm, was cybernetic, and he had a lot of cybernetic augmentations, it wasn't as if he was going to freeze to death. If he could handle the frigid temperatures deep sea diving, then he could handle the cold atop a mountain. After all, it wasn't as if he hadn't done it before.
He had been invited up there, for some kind of event. Plus, at the same time, he wanted to search the mountain. Rumors have it that there was some kind of Tuffle Bunker up there somewhere, and if there was one, then perhaps he would get lucky and maybe find an other one of Doctor Kringle's labs? The old man had taken over another Tuffle Bunker, down in the Southlands, so what's to say he hadn't found others?
He used his scanners, his bright glowing irises, to scan the best route down the mountain, at least in order to avoid obstacles. The last thing that he needed was to smash into a boulder or a tree and lose yet another limb. That would be the last thing he needed. So, once he got to the starting position, and made sure that he was adequately prepared for the race, he threw himself into the race. If he won, if he lost, it didn't really matter ultimately. All that mattered was that bunker.

RP Post: A beautiful snowy mountain. The air was crisp and clean. There was something so familiar about the place. It caused a great deal of nostalgia in the wolf. He stood tall over many of the people that had come to participate in this particular event. But, that was normal for him. Standing at over seven feet tall, he tended to be taller than most of the people around him. He grinned at a few people as he walked past them. Mostly because they did a double take, seeing the man in his floral print shirt, as if he were dressed for a day at the beach, a day at a nice warm tropical climate, rather than standing atop a freezing mountain covered in snow. He looked as if he was completely out of place.
And he was. At least, with that clothes he was. However, the cold didn't touch him. He could stand there bucknaked and the cold wouldn't touch him. He was in his prime, in his element. The cold, the snow, it was his natural habitat.
When it came to this particular event, the light haired wolf in his floral print tropical shirt didn't suffer from any delusions of grandeur or of having any kind of advantage over anyone here because he had been born of and born into the cold, the snow, the tundra. Rather, he was filled with joy of having the chance to have fun; and maybe, just maybe, snatch up a cute date too.

RP Post: Competetiveness runs through all Saiyan blood, and it was no different even for holiday festivities. Cabin had some amount of experience skiing, as the mountain home he was from had outposts further into the chain and sometimes the only way to or from was the ski or fly(which he still couldn't do.) He gritted his teeth through the cold and steadied himself at the starting line, adjusting his gear to get the perfect start. He surveyed his competition but he was struggling to identify anyone through the layers of coats most people were wearing. No matter, they would all be losing to him in a matter of moments so they were ultimately unimportant. The starting pistol went off and the racers all shot forward. Using his ki-infused muscles, Cabin launched himself from the starting line and began to carve his way down the mountain, head held low but with a strong look of determination on his face.

RP Post: Once again, a certain Mischievous Majin had gotten tangled up in something new. She had bumbled her way through the sign ups through pure dumb luck (or maybe meddling from the hosts). Now she stood at the starting line, curiously examining her equipment. The sticks in her hands she could kind of understand... They were pretty solid, sooo good for whacking stuff. However, the long boards stuck to her legs were a bigger mystery. All the bigger people around her acted like they were supposed to work like this, so she didn’t question it. And when the starting gun fired, she took off!
Sort of.
To call the pink girl’s style unconventional would have been a rather generous estimation. She managed to get her legs tangled up right at the start. Tumbling down the slope, she quickly turned into a huge snowball. “Whoa-whoa-whoa-wooo-ho-ho-ho-hooo~!” Launching off of a jump, she landed onto an express delivery robot. Unfortunately, the rough impact pretty much made it an ex-express delivery robot... Weakly it wobbled along, weaving past trees and obstacles. Finally the unwitting passenger fell off and tumbled past the finnish line. With her eyes still spinning like golden spirals, she completely missed the part where she set a new record! ...For the slowest snowball tumble of the year.1d100·1d26·1d20

Sleigh riding down a mountain was a past time in Kousetsu Village. It was no surprise that the event would attract the attention of a certain giant Saiyan. Grisha had showed up with his wooden sled, the very same one he used to survive the steeply descending slopes of the mountains at home. Setting the sled down, he grinned in excitement with his fists resting upon his hips. He gazed down the steep mountain. Everything at its base looked miniature. He could see the tiny trees and the path that formed a white part cutting through them. Lena wasn’t with him this time, so he could be as daring as he wanted.
The giant faced his sled and inspected the runners. It was all he mainly cared about. If the entire thing broke apart, as long as he had the runners, then he would be able to cut through the ice and comfortably make it down. Sitting upon the sled, Grisha grasped the sides and pushed off.

RP Post: Misaki stood nervously on her skis, wobbling as she did so. She hadn't done much skiing before now, learning a novice's amount at a school-trip not far from here. standing in her puffy green jacket and black snowpants, she felt rather like a large penguin about to do a belly-slide.
Still, she was having fun with the ride, moving as fast as she could with her skis as she zoomed through the terrain. A smile came on her face as she felt she might just be fastest down the mountain---
Those hopes were, promptly, dashed as a pink blur came past her on a lovely red snowboard.
"Snooze ya lose, 'Saki." The pinkette playfully teased. She wore a pair of thick orange goggles, a green beanie and a lovely dark-red coat - and skidded down the course without any trouble.
The thought was troubling to Misaki - not because she was worried about losing the race, but because she was rather certain this was the closest she'd ever come to thinking Coral looked... Cool?
The Gardener quickly shook her head, pushing the intruding thought out of her head. Winter really was not her season.

Final Time: 79 ---------------------
A sled? Hard to maneuver, hardly portable. Skis? Too much equipment, though admittedly an elegant solution.
But, Maxine had her own preference. A little self-indulgent, but... the snowboard was unmatched.
Or so she'd like to say. She'd come for slopestyle, not hardbooting! No amount of grinds or halfpipes were going to give her a better time here, so she settled for enjoying the ride. She didn't exactly indulge in many sports, as Oolong City didn't take many of them seriously - unless you consider parkour, but that was more of a calculated risk within her line of work. And, this sort of discipline fit her just fine - an android was going to be far less concerned by injuries than a person, making snowboarding an easier pick that it would be for many others.
She'd planned her route, suited up, and hit the powder with ease - but, no matter her intentions, her snowboarding route led to bigger issues than even getting too excited about tricks. Okay, sure, plummeting head-over-heels a few time didn't help either, but being met with a gale really put her off her barely existent game. In a storm while on a slope, she couldn't even rely on her internal navigation options... besides the general premise that 'down' was the right way.
So here she was, taking the toboggan track instead of the actual downhill course. She couldn't even see any of those drones from here... it was for the best; the Princess would absolutely make fun of her for this performance. But... time alone wasn't so bad. If she was going to lose catastrophically, she ought to at least enjoy the holiday while she could. A musing unbefitting of an android, but no one had to know about that.
...Hopefully no one would know she uttered the words 'shred the gnar' before starting, either.
