Percy took a breath of fresh air as she stepped outside, glancing around the garden in which she stood. She had crept out of the teahouse that evening after dinner for some alone time. Percy had been fortunate to find refuge, however temporary it might be, but it was taking some getting used to. Even as the daughter of the clan Matriarch back home, she had never experienced the kind of luxury that was the Zen Estate. And having lived for years as little more than a vagabond, it was like living in a complete different world. She couldn't help but feel dreadfully out of place, in spite of friendly reassurances that she was welcome.
And so when Percy found herself overwhelmed by the maids, too-soft bed, and her lively companions, she would retreat to the garden. Misaki had been kind enough to show her the garden. It seemed as though she felt comfort here as well, and knew that Percy would feel the same. She was right. Percy knelt down in front of a bed of peonies and watched as several ants crawled across the closed petals of the flowers. Tilting her head as she observed, she smiled. When she was a child, her mother had taught her of the mutual relationship between ants and peonies. The peonies need the ants, Persephone. These powerful little creatures protect the plant from other, more destructive insects. But the need is mutual, for without the peonies, the ants would go hungry. Because of this mutual aid, both organisms may thrive. They take care of one another. "Thank you for protecting the flowers, little friends." Percy sighed and slowly stood up, cracking her neck with a grunt, sauntering over to the camellia shrubs to check on them.

Whatever peace was felt at the Zen Estates that night was quickly broken when a nearly 7 foot tall bird trampled it's way through the garden. It's plumage was a brilliant golden brown and it's tail feathers alternated a deep black and red. With a harsh squawk, it leaped over Percy and the bed of peonies, quickly turning back to face where it had just entered from. "Blasted bird, this is the last time you run from me!"A small red-haired Saiyan shot around the the corner, fire in his eyes and veins bulging. His armor was covered in fresh mud and there were three shallow gashes in it's front. Cabin was completely unaware at first that the garden was occupied, anger had taken him and his visioned was tunneled in only the Ostrich-Turkey. "First you dump me in the mud, then you kick me, and now you see fit to rampage through the city? Rare as you may be, I'll make a meal of you!"He raised his hand, a bright green ball of ki forming just inches from his palm, "I should have known better than to take another of you after that damned Ostrich-Chicken tried to peck my eyes."The bird responded with a mocking honk, spreading it's wings and puffing it's chest out in a threatening display, as if to say 'Bring it on!' This only caused Cabin to grow more angry, and he clenched his fist shut, dissipating the ki ball in a flash of energy, "I'm going to make you regret that!" he shouted, stepping towards the bird, still unawares of his intrusion on someone else's peace.

"Wha----" Percy yelped as the gigantic bird leapt over her head, wincing slightly at how loudly it was squawking. She exhaled with relief that the flowers were unharmed, though the grass was quite trampled, pulled up in some places. "Well this is going to be difficult to explain to Misaki later..." she muttered, turning to the ostrich-turkey with her arms crossed over her chest. Before she had a chance to move toward the distressed creature, the clank of armour and angry yelling assailed her ears as a peculiar man burst into the garden. Percy looked on with shock as the red haired man in armour began squabbling with the massive flightless bird in the middle of the Zen Estate's garden.
Suddenly, Percy noticed the green ki energy and clenched her jaw. "Absolutely not!" Her voice carried throughout the garden as she yelled out to the uninvited guest. Percy jumped in front of the bird as it towered over her petite form, her arms spread and her brow furrowed in defiance. "Just what do you think you're doing?!" Percy glared at him, looking him up and down.

The petite girl leaped in front of Cabin and he had to admit he momentarily taken aback by her shouting. "Back away, or I'll deal with you too." When she continued to shout, he gritted his teeth in frustration, glaring at the Ostrich-Turkey behind her. "What am *I* doing? I'm trying to prevent that cursed bird from rampaging any further!" he pointed a finger directly at the Ostrich-Turkey, "It's nothing but a menace and I'm going to show it what for. You hear me, bird?" The bird spread it's threat display and stretched it's long neck out to peck Cabin right in the forehead. Cabin grunted and reached up to rub the welt that was forming. Clenching his fists at his side, Cabin's aura flared out, his tail flicking angrily behind him, "Mark my words, bird, I'll have you for a meal on this Earthling holiday!" He raised his hand, face as red as his hair in his anger, and fired a ki blast at the Ostrich-Turkey. His shaky hands caused the blast to go wide and it sailed up and over their heads, exploding harmlessly in a sparkle of his deep green ki energy in the sky above them.

"The only menace I see here is a ruffian with crimson hair and filthy armour. This creature is simply in distress, and quite understandably, to have such a bizarre person chasing after them. And furthermore, you've trespassed in this garden and caused damage. You should count your blessings that it was I was the one you so rudely interrupted." Percy's cheeks were red with irritation as she scolded the man in front of her, thinking about what might've happened if it was Misaki who caught him tearing up the grass. A smirk twitched in the corner of her mouth as she pictured Misaki football kicking him into the sky until he became a mere twinkle in the night sky.
Shaking her head of this image, Percy looked up just as the Ostrich-Turkey pecked him and gasped as he fired off a blast of energy, moving to duck---but the blast missed. She stood back up straight and glared. "Are you insane?!" Percy stepped forward, her fists clenched at her sides. She glanced briefly over at the giant bird with a concerned frown, but turned back to the man when she saw that it was unharmed.

"Insane? Me?" Cabin laughed at her, perhaps from madness or perhaps from frustration, and looked as if he was about to pull his hair out, "I should think I am, after a night in this damned place. You've taken ten years off my life, Turkey!" Cabin shouted, once again pointing at the Ostrich-Turkey behind Percy. The bird wasn't intimidated by Cabin in the slightest, and if anything had become emboldened by Percy's defense of it. With a gleam in it's eye, it spun around on one foot and delivered a powerful back-kick to Cabin's chest. He slid several feet backwards, tumbling end-over through the garden and crushing several flower beds. The front of his armor was cracked and small chunks fell from it with every agonizing movement Cabin made. He sputtered and coughed as he tried to at least get off his back, but the wind had yet to return to his lungs and he could only rock back and forth and grumble. His armor had shattered. It completely fell to pieces when he finally managed to get up from the grand and a single tear falling from his eye "That was.. This was the armor I got when I became an Elite Scout. I'm... I..." Cabin felt a serene calm fall over him. If this was the way it way going to be, to Hell with the bird. It had brought him nothing but stress and misery since he had won it as a prize for eating the most turkey pot pies in one sitting, and as delicious as those pies were they had not been worth this beast's troubles. "You have it, then." Cabin stared blankly at Percy, and then turned his back to her and the bird. He leaned down and began tenderly picking up the pieces to his chest armor and cradled them a pile in his arm. "I've no use for a monster I cannot ride, work with or even eat. You keep the beast, little Princess," Cabin said with venom in his voice, making a gesture to the opulent garden around them, "But with a power level that I should think the bird has it." He opened a small pouch at his side and began dumping the pieces into it, becoming frustrated once again when he realize that only a tiny fraction of the pieces would fit. "And don't think I can't see your thoughts. You wish violence on me?" His ability to read surface level thoughts through ki manipulation was a talent normally kept secret, but with his Saiyan rage on the rise, Cabin's mouth was moving faster than his mind, and his muscles were aching for a confrontation, even if it meant exposing his secrets a bit.

"Well good, we're on the same page, because someone in their right mind wouldn't be causing a ruckus like this over a bird!" As the Ostrich-Turkey attacked the man, sending him flying through the flowers, it felt like it all happened in slow motion. "No!" Percy gasped, turning around on the bird. "Bad bird! Shoo! Go!" She ran towards where he landed, appearing to show concern, though it was not for the injured man; she knelt down, looking at one of the destroyed flowerbeds and groaned, gently touching the crumpled petals on a trampled rose. "You..." Percy stood up and opened her mouth to shout at him, but stopped as she saw the look on his face. It was clear that he was upset, and why; the Ostrich-Turkey had all but decimated the armour he had been wearing when he burst into the garden.
Her expression softened, albeit briefly, before the red-haired stranger directed his ire at her. "Princess? You don't know me at all. I'm no princess." She huffed indignantly, absent-mindedly scratching the scar that disfigured her right shoulder. Percy glared back at him as he taunted her, but her eyes widened as he called her out for her thoughts. "E-excuse me?!" There was something deeply unnerving about how he knew what she was thinking. Her cheeks reddened once more. "Well who wouldn't, after the harm you caused? You might not realize it, considering you clearly don't care about anyone but yourself, but take a look around! This is someone's home. And you've caused damage to it, and to the earth. This? This is unacceptable." She gestured angrily at the crushed bed of roses before them.

The verbal lashing only served to solidify Cabin's feelings further, and he spoke up when he had enough. "You're right, I do only think of myself, which is why it's your problem, not mine." Cabin rolled his shoulder and turned his back to the girl, still mumbling to himself. Why did he ever agree to take one, let alone two, of those creatures and then let it cause him so much trouble. He should have blown it up the moment it came loose. He pulled a small whistle from his pouch and threw it at his feet, "Unacceptable? I quite agree, I do hope you don't get in too much trouble for all this from the Queen." Cabin spit at the ground in a sign of disrespect and then turned to leave. He caused damage to a lot of this, on purpose even, but this wasn't his fault. He was going to find whoever sold him that bird and beat a refund out of him. Or maybe... Cabin swung back around, pointing a finger directly at Percy, "I've changed my mind. You owe me for the bird," his eyes scanned the regal garden once again, "Or I could just have whatever I wanted." He brought a hand up to rub his chin, a smirk forming in the corner of his mouth, "It's not like you could really stop me. How long do you think the guards would be here if I started now?" Cabin let his ki aura flare out once again, his tail uncurling from his waist and flicking behind him in his own threat display. "Come on, I'll even let you have the first go at it, if you think you can stop me."

Percy practically growled in frustration, and stomped over to stand in front of the man, pointing at him with her whole hand like one might stab a knife. "This peacocking is as unnecessary as it is garish. I won't abide this disrespect." She leaned forward, venom in her voice. "You surely don't know the Lady of this estate, or the woman who tends this garden. If you did, you'd be on your knees, apologizing and helping me clean up your mess. In fact, that's exactly what you're going to do." If looks could kill, she'd have a victim in front of her. Percy was angry that this person had trespassed, but more so that he destroyed and killed so many of the flowers in this beautiful, lively garden.
"You are going to come with me, and explain to the Gardener what you've done to her garden, and then you're going to put on some gardening gloves and assist me in fixing your mess." She reached out to grab his wrist, but as his ki aura flared, Percy gasped and reacted automatically, push-kicking towards the man's stomach in an attempt to get him away. "What do you think you're doing?! Have you no sense of honour, picking a fight on land that isn't yours, that you just so recklessly destroyed? And you have the audacity to say that I owe you?! Just who the hell do you think you are?!"

The blow to his stomach came unexpectedly, and Cabin's aura disappeared with an 'oof.' He staggered forward slightly, blinking through the fog in his vision. How could a human hit so hard? And furthermore, how had he not seen it coming? Bile rose in his mouth and he spit it on the ground, fighting the further urge to empty his lunch. "Who the hell do I think I am? I'm CABIN! I'm an Elite Saiyan warrior! And I pick fights with whoe-" he stopped mid-sentence, silently retching. "That was just a lucky shot.." Cabin commented as he straightened back up, "Unfortunately for you, you only get one." Cabin raised his hand and began concentrating an orb of swirling green ki in his outward-facing palm. He released the ki orb and it widened, but curiously held in place after only a short little hop. It was the distraction. Immediately Cabin dropped into a crouch and fired a straight punch under the orb, aiming directly at Percy's lower stomach, the very same place he had been hit. "If you wish for violence, this is what you get!" With a snap of his non-punching hand, the orb of ki exploded before his punch had landed. A high-low combination and extremely troublesome to avoid, but Cabin's movements were sloppy as his head was still foggy and he hadn't quite regained his breath yet.

"Ngh!" Percy had never been hit so hard in her life. She had attempted to dodge to the left of Cabin's punch, but he still managed to strike her in the side of her torso. Dodging the punch was futile regardless, as the raw power of the explosion sent her flying backwards, rolling as she hit the ground with a sickening thwack. She groaned, laying there a moment, before slowly staggering back to her feet, wiping blood from her mouth. Percy had never met a Saiyan before, and she mentally added it to her list of things to ask Misaki to explain to her at length later. She took a deep breath as she steadied herself.
"Cabin, the Elite Saiyan warrior. For an 'Elite', you're really rather boorish." Percy clenched her jaw, staring back at Cabin with defiance in her eyes. "People here are all the same. You squander nature's gifts and cause harm so callously." Percy straightened up as well as she could, holding her chin high as she spoke. "My name is Percy. I am a Druid. You owe a debt not only to this estate, but to the Earth, and I insist that you pay it." It was clear to her that she was in over her head with this man. He possessed a similar strength that she had only seen from the likes of Misaki, and he sent her flying effortlessly. Despite this, she kept her head up and dropped into a horse stance. With any luck, she could at least defend herself and tire him out so she could take him to Misaki to answer for the damage done.

"People here?" Cabin said through clenched teeth, "My residence is far for here, with the Chapas Tribe by the lake known as Kessho-ko. Do not lump me in with you and your ilk." Cabin spit on the ground once more, watching her intently as she went through her motions and got into stance. "My people come from the Northern Lands, deep in to the mountains, and you would suggest I am some pathetic, low-life city dweller like yourself?"
The girl had made a huge mistake in giving Cabin the initiative. The back and forth banter had given Cabin time to work his ki into the area around him and he no longer needed physical movement in order to fight. "I should think a young princess living in her castle should be more wise as to whose lifestyle they insult. One wouldn't want to get in trouble with Mi-Sa-Ki." He let the name roll slowly off his tongue for maximum impact, and using this distraction to advance. Small sparkles of coalescing ki energy formed in the air around Percy, barely visible at first until they shot forward with a prismatic glow and pummeled Percy like fists. Each strike would dissipate the ki in a small flash and since they needed no physical input, Cabin only stood staring at Percy as blows rained down from every direction and angle around her. ----- WC: 230

"My ilk? Lowlife city dweller?!" Percy bit back a quip and took a breath, calming down. "This is not my home, these are not my people. I lumped you in, as you put it, because you seem to have the same disregard for the Earth and her creatures as so many people here do." She grit her teeth and glared back at Cabin, yelling over him as he called her a princess. "I said I'm not a princess! I---" She stopped mid sentence as he mentioned Misaki's name. "H-How do you know Misaki!?" Her panic was interrupted by a punch; or what felt like one. Cabin hadn't moved. Percy coughed as she was pummeled over and again, attempting to block and then to move away, falling down to the ground with her arms crossed protectively over her head and neck. She yelled out in pain, peering over at Cabin as he watched her getting attacked by an invisible force. "Why can't you just...ngh!...apologize like a normal person!?"

Cabin stopped and frowned at the girl, "I shan't apologize for you threatening me. I've as much regard for the natural world as any pampered 'Druid' would." He was unsure of what that word even meant, but she had referred to herself as such earlier and it seemed a point of pride for her. He had to give it to her, her defenses were solid and her stance was well grounded, but she didn't seem to be making any sort of move towards him, she was only focusing on blocking. It was quite possible she was having the natural reaction to being assaulted from an unseen force, panic, but for someone so confident in their abilities a moment ago, it was a bit disappointing to not see them in action.
"This is pathetic, even a Saiyan baby would fare better than you. The least you could do is fight back." The pummeling ceased all at once and Cabin took a deep breath and drew his ki inward again, pulling them permeating field back into himself, in addition to dropping his guard and stepping forward, crossing his arms behind his back and leaning in towards Percy, "I'll even give you a free one, if you are feeling brave."

Percy continue to stand her ground and do her best to block the unseen blows pummelling her from all directions. As Cabin stopped his attack and talked down to her, she huffed a deep breath, wincing a little as she straightened her posture. "You don't know anything of my people. Druids are conduits of the earth and nature. We are its protectors. We are not warriors, but we are not layabouts, either." Percy's eyes were determined, but her body was tired.
"Cabin, the Elite Saiyan Warrior. I am neither Elite, nor a Warrior. And I don't want to fight you. Whether you are on guard or not." She took a few shaky steps forward and gave Cabin a lopsided smile. "I want you to apologize for destroying this garden. I want you to repair the damage you've done. Do Saiyans not hold themselves accountable to their actions?" Percy's eyes narrowed a little as she looked up at her adversary. This was not a fight she could win, that much was clear to her. But as long as she could stand, she could drag it out for long enough to exhaust Cabin, or long enough for someone within the estate to hear the commotion. "Look around this garden. The damage to the flowerbeds, the shrubbery...do you truly feel that you are without blame here?" She held her head high, looking back at Cabin without fear.
