Clove stood by a fountain of a commercial business plaza, staring up the sky scrappers that belonged to the rival financial companies she already did the full research on, as an owner of several restaurants she needed to choose one, she looked over at the Momentum Financial zeni-mascot handing out flyers, and green balloons. Taking the flyer, refusing the balloon, she pocketed a bunch of bubble gum drops into her skirt pocket from a plastic jar it was holding. After sitting down on a bench next to the fountain, she bent her knee near her chest, and began chewing the gum she helped herself to, blowing large bubble gum bubbles while reading the information of the flyer. With her c-phone in hand she played the live stream of the Velocity Industries she had to dig up through certain channels to acquire, the company had spent a lot of zeni on removing the video from tarnishing their reputation. Melody and a witch named Lilith were on a stage, in the video as an example in how to increase the financial equity of their estates. A black and white Panda beastman in pinstripe suit named Toby had ordered Truffles from Melody’s home village, promising in increasing her business gains by buying the mushrooms. Anyone could order mushrooms online, so she nodded at what exactly they were offering, apart from the zeni they spent on buying her products, it sounded like a scam. After watching a video, the next video was of a food fair in the same plaza she was in, where a worker from Velocity Industries quit by stripping down her clothes into a bikini, which lasted a full thirty seconds, and the third video played of the witch Lilith summoning frogs to rain down on the company picnic. Clove spat her gum, she started laughing to the point of tears forming in the corner of her eyes, and she sighed as he put her phone away to pull out more bubble gum from her pocket. Life outside the western lands was entertaining, she wondered if her mentor Melody would think about allying with Momentum Financial instead. The tea princess was still on the fence on it but at the end of the day she could only be at one of her restaurants at a time unless she learned instant transmission which seemed quite impossible to accomplish; she managed to explore the dark demonic arts of placing a demon mark on a relative but she figured her younger sister was not up for something like that just to increase her demon powers. Sitting down on a bench on the opposite side of the fountain from Clove would be a rather large woman, standing at 7'0", in what appeared to be a tight military uniform covered in medals. This woman, going by the name of Silver Snow, would be looking down at a rather long list, frowning a bit as she would slowly go through her expenses for this month. Years of wasting her money on fine battle armor, copious amounts of booze, and Red Ribbon memorabilia were finally taking their toll on her, and as she would continue down the list of merchandise that she had bought over the coming weeks, she could no longer ignore the facts: she was almost out of money. Looking up from her sheet for a moment, she would frown a bit as she would see some sort of Velocity Industries mascot approach her, dressed up as some sort of frog wearing a gaudy witch's outfit, with the hat as well as the wand it was carrying having the symbol of Zeni on them. The design was nearly enough to make her vomit, but she would hold back in order to keep somewhat of a public appearance as she would grab one of the flyers that the mascot was handing out, looking down at it out of curiosity. "Sign up your company to Velocity Industries, and we will boost your income to the sky! For 10% of the company's income..." Silver did not know much of what exactly Velocity Industries was, but she could tell somewhat easily that this sort of business contract shown by the flyer had to be some sort of scam. Crumpling up the flyer, she would shove it back into the mascot's hands before glaring at them. "Seriously, you expect me to sign away what little money I have left just to boost profits of a business I don't even have? What do you take me for, some fool who doesn't read the fine print, or perhaps some stuck up CEO who just wants to look rich rather than making actual investments? Either way, you can take this flyer back and shove it!"Walking away from the mascot, Silver would eventually notice something pretty weird going on. It appeared that the frog witch mascot wasn't the only mascot around, as she could see various other business mascots begin walking onto the streets, carrying what now appeared to be stacks upon stacks of flyers, detailing various different businesses and ventures. She could even see some sort of embarrassing Zeni mascot from Momentum Financial handing out flyers, pushing against a different Velocity Industries mascot while trying to hand out flyers to some woman. Stepping back a bit from the sight of various mascots getting closer, Silver would end up backing up into a free spot on the bench that Clove would be sitting on, not even noticing the girl until hearing the pop of gum from her as she would be looking through her C-Phone. Realizing her mistake, the military woman would slowly get up, dusting off her military uniform as she would look down to her. "Oh, I'm so sorry, I didn't see that you were already sitting here. I was just sitting down for a bit to take in... some sort of mascot parade? To be honest I have no idea of what's going on but it is sorta creepy how many salarymen in costumes are suddenly galivanting on the streets. Makes me wish someone would at the very least beat them down. Certainly would scare all of them off and away, I can guarantee that much..."

The warzone was merciless.
A cacophony of parading marketing efforts struggling for supremacy over their competitors. Mere grunts expected to shoulder the reputation of an entire company. The Namekian when he looked out to the streets saw not clumsy parading mascots going around with flyers, he saw the people within the mascots frantically sweating and staggering around giving 150% of their effort desperately struggling to get a raise. The baking southern sun roasting them in their costumes melting every fibre of reason and cool that they may still have been able to maintain. It truly was a slice of hell if one was serious enough about it, capitalism was a battlefield like none other.
Of course, Momentum Financial was no different, and with his hands snug within his pockets Bass watched his dispensed Zeni-Dollar looking employee stagger about like all the rest giving out flyers. Though he wasn't worried, after all he did this job because of the sense of community it brought. Also because if he didn't his lights would go out and he'd be stuck without burritos- but, well, semantics.
There were even third rate competitors in no mans land like Acceleration Unlimited and Speed Money Fast that were up and starting sponsor-less companies trying to smuggle over investors with back alley dealings. Though it was nigh time their representative took a break before he ended up like the hotdog mascot lying halfway in an alley lost within a sea of legs and commerce. Who knew what they were representing.
Stepping a few paces back and turning towards the exit Bass tugged his small jacket and draped it over his shoulder upon leaving his office. Passing by coworkers, he'd raise a friendly wave towards long time employees like Gary and Carl.
"Hey Bass, what are we going to do about Velocity? Despite recent third party action against them due to corporate structure collapsing and... Well, their numbers are up. If the-"
"It's all good Gary, don't worry about it." Said Bass, sliding on the thin and fashionable jacket while giving his employee a sideways glance.
"Velocity has a lot of things. Lots of zeni to throw around, global resources and calculated takeover procedures for situations like this, but they're forgetting something." He said whilst turning fully towards Gary while narrowing his eyes. Pinching two fingers together he leaned forward over the edge of the cubicle, causing 'Gary' to seemingly shrink into his seat.
"They don't got the style, the guts, hell they don't even got the information. Remember, they're still trying to beat us- we're just trying not to give 'em the win." Leaving Gary in silence Bass made his way into the lobby and regarded their secretary who also had a name, he just didn't recall it at the moment.
"I'm checking out to relieve the mascot, guy looks like he's about to trip and eat a fire hydrant. Be back in like five minutes or something."
Stepping outside the Namekian would approach the Zeni-bill mascot and grab the fluff of the costume to tug it around.
"Greg- GREG! Are you still with me soldier?!" There was a brief muffled stammering as the unyielding wide eyes of the costume stared holes into whatever was in front of it looked at Bass.
"Ahahyes boss I'm doi-" He was interrupted by Bass.
"No you're not! You've earned yourself a bre-"
"-I'm fired?!" Cried out the muffled voice.
"No you moron! Paid leave, I'm giving you a break! Come back tomorrow before you die! You've been out here since eleven in the morning! Do you know what the sun does to dehydrated meatsacks-" Shouted Bass before he was interrupted.
"Malaria?"
"AAAAAH NO YOU TURN INTO LEATHER!" Bass started tugging the mascot towards the nearby Momentum building until the mascot started using his own two feet to dismiss himself. Watching him stumble away the blue Namekian let out a sigh as his hands rested against his waist before glancing towards a couple of folk sitting near a bench. He narrowed his eyes.
"Not the most peaceful of locales to go sightseeing, sorry you two had to see that."

A massive woman in a well pressed uniform excused herself for sitting on the bench next to her unknowingly, it was strange for anyone to pretend they owned public property just by sitting on it, especially since she was not nearly wealthy enough to buy out two major financial companies. Clove nodded in disagreement, then grinned as she noticed the woman tower over her, lately she had been encountering people larger than life, she wondered the kind of diet they were raised on to be so massive. The Tea princess stood at nearly six feet, just two inches shy barefoot, but her sneakers made up the extra height. As a descendant of her grandfather, who was a very small pig beast man, she was not nearly as tall as her father Pine Tea who was a demonic boar with tusks, and her fair skinned mother was a frail serpent demoness with horns and a long tail.
“Not a problem, it’s not a typical hangout location for the public, unless they plan on making an appointment with the people inside these massive buildings that make up the South City skyline at sunset.” Clove was observant as to why this silver haired woman was here, she remained seated casually on the bench, “Are you debating on trying out Momentum Financial? One of my mentors is acquainted with someone who works at the company, she gave up her zeni ventures after having children, but I have been expanding my restaurant chain and I figured I can entrust my own zeni to increase my profits with them...despite all the gimmicks. I imagine it effectively works since they own prime real estate in the heart of the city.”
A blue namekian with significant power level wearing a suit emerged from the building, with the coat over his shoulder approached the mascot, his power was a little over her own, and she stood up at this point to observe the scene he caused with the mascot. It seemed the person in the zeni mascot suit was freaking out before patiently waiting for the namekian to finish talking about being relieved of his post. A minute later the namekian apologized for the disturbance. “Ara ara, I never met so many politely apologetic people the size of palm trees before, now I am intrigued.” Clove teased, “You work for Momentum Financial right, the silver fox and I are interested in learning more about what you have to offer, since it seems Velocity Industries is a scam, even using a frog as a marketing scene ever since a witch crashed the company picnic. “
The Tea princess walked over to close the distance, she offered a slight bow as a customary greeting to the western lands, and resumed the vertical position, “My name is Clove Tea, I am descendant of Oolong Tea who established Oolong City in the western lands, but apart from my birth right I am owner of several restaurants in three territories. I want to expand more tea, coffee, and frozen drink shops. Is that something your company can help me with?” [509] [2,230/8,000] Silver Snow Bass

Listening to the woman, Silver would walk back to the bench, slowly sitting down with her head resting upon her right arm, which in turn would be rested upon her lap as she would listen to her talking. Upon hearing the woman's question if she was joining up with the Momentum Financial, she would try to hold back her laughter, only to let it all loose as she would chuckle at the thought of settling down her Zeni into any sort of business venture, much less some company going by the name of Momentum Financial. She had to conserve her money after all, and that meant playing it safe rather than risking her money. "Your kidding right? There's no way I'd fall for a business scam like Momentum whatever, or Velocity or any other of these companies! They're built on stealing parts of your own income, and I need as much income as I can get for what I plan on doing!"Noticing the tea lady introducing herself to some sort of blue Namekian and giving out her name as Clove, Silver would do a small bow to Bass as she would move to a more normal stance. Judging from Clove's careful words, she would guess the Namekian was some sort of important figure in Momentum Financial, a statement that would be backed up by his suit and formal look, though his outburst at his underling would also sort of confirm it for her in a different way. With the tea girl's comment including her on the girl's interest in Momentum though, Silver would quickly wave her hands in a bit of objection. "No, I'm not interested in having a business deal in particular. I will admit, I do share the disdain for Velocity and all of these other mascots wandering around, but Momentum is not something I will risk my own income with."Standing up, Silver would stretch out a hand to shake with Bass, in a bid to be polite. "The name is Silver Snow, I'm a... soldier of sorts, for whom I would prefer to stay quiet on. I've been doing some odd jobs recently to earn some extra Zeni, and I do have some combat training, so while I do not have specific interest in doing business, I would be glad to do stuff for you instead."As she would shake hands with the Namekian, she would quickly see more and more mascots march in throughout the streets, wearing dozens of different costumes from many different companies and locales. Before long the place would appear to be filled entirely by mascots, as Silver would frown a bit upon seeing them marching off into the various buildings, to hand out more and more flyers. Crossing her arms, Silver would look to the side, not enjoying the influx of mascots continuing to flood into the area, and with a slight frown on her face. "I will say, there is a bunch more business mascots that I'm used to being around with. Feels like something momentous is going on around these parts, wouldn't you agree? It's as if some bubble had burst, and they're all trying to get any last scraps before they're all out of business. Lousy vultures, the whole bunch of them. Wish they'd all go elsewhere."

The blue Namekian stood idly by as Clove responded to him- based on what she was saying it sounded as if the other person there happened to also apologize recently. Bringing a hand to the back of his neck he just shrugged it off, not wanting to psycho-analyze his inner better angels in the middle of a capitalistic warzone.
Just when he was about to respond to the first things she'd spoken the Tea Princess approached and offered a cordial bow, a gesture that made for a stark contrast when compared to the intense and shameless marketing that was occurring all around them. There was even a replacement mascot that came out of the Momentum Financial building, another blue zeni costumed employee fresh out of the air conditioned building and into the battlefield.
When he believed he'd heard what she had to say, the Namekian first started by offering an introduction in return.
"I don't quite know who Oolong Tea is, but I very much know what Oolong City is. If you're who you say you are, you're a pretty important person from where you come from. I'm Bass, pretty bassic, manager of the company you've correctly guessed I work at."
Bass paused for just a moment and glanced towards Silver. He'd finished saying his part in the moment, and so when her hand stretched out towards his own he'd extend a hand from his formally cross-armed pose to accept the shake with a firm but not excessive grip. The kind of hold that displayed confidence if nothing else.
"It's a pleasure to meet you Silver, haven't dealt with soldiers since that shark attack or whatever we had here a while back. Though from what you're describing you sound less like a soldier and more like an agent, unless you're on vacation or something. Still, I just run a business, I don't really need the expertise of a soldier to get the things I want.
To answer your thoughts however, think about it. South City is the highlight- at least I believe to be the biggest highlight in particular of the Southern Islands. We get hundreds of thousands of tourists every year, and often it's during the seasons where the weather is nicest. It can get a little too hot sometimes, but this is nice. So when there are-" Bass gestured towards Clove.
"-foreign business owners here for either business or vacation, lots of places rightfully see it as an opportunity to network and try to expand their product and influence. Though an answer you'll probably like more is that this is the worst of it, the rest of the city can be pretty nice. Just avoid the underground fighting rings if that's not your thing."
Bass took another pause as he circled back towards what Clove had originally spoken about.
"Speaking of foreign business opportunities, I can't directly make your company expand. However I think cutting hundreds of thousands in unnecessary expenditures will give you the financial freedom to do that yourself. I'm not going to reiterate what the flyers already say, so if that sounds good to you we can head inside where it's quiet and air conditioned to get into some of the finer details."
His attention then shifted back to Silver Snow, there was a moment indicating the Namekian was thinking of something. He'd then pipe up and give an offer unlike that of a financing company.
"Maybe... There is something else I could offer. I don't know who you work for or what their ties are, but I'm not looking to aim people at anything in particular. Corporate is dissolving in our company and it looks like I'll have a lot more jurisdiction pretty soon, and I want to give the company an overhaul to offer more services and do more things. One of which was to have a security task force for extraordinary problems not always having to do with our own company. Rather Earth as a whole. I just thought I'd mention it since you offered being willing to do other things, don't feel obligated.
With that, we ready to head in?"
Bass would start taking a couple of paces back, about to turn and head into the Momentum Financial building unless one or both of them didn't want to.

It was strange for Silver to be so defensive about placing her zeni in a growing metropolis style company despite standing in the middle of the business plaza between the two rival companies. Perhaps she really was just trying to get away from all the gimmicks by going for a stroll, until she was lured to this particular area, and instead of leaving outright after making her decision she remained in their presence. To Clove, she figured there must have been a specific reason the silver haired woman stayed, she picked up that her name was actually Silver after she shook hands with the blue Namekian, which formed a grin on the demoness’ face when he revealed his name. “Bass-kun?” Clove was elated, “You’re the person I was going to look for today.”The mention of avoiding the underground fighting rings made the Tea Princess blush, she was nearly killed by a team of Tuffles, who decided to rob the bookies then escaped when she was unconscious. Will O’ Wisp was her team mate and he made the mistake of not checking on her when she was nearly asphyxiated in a tomb of ice and carbon monoxide. Since it was an illegal tournament, the whole incident was kept under wraps, the money that was stolen was reported as gym membership fees for a special martial arts arena facility, in order to place the bounty on Team Citrus. The underground crime network was efficient in bypassing the scope of the world government and playing around with their alibi to achieve their goals. “Interesting that you hit a couple of nails on the head with some of the things you mentioned, Bass-kun. A company overhaul? At this magnitude? I am intrigued, perhaps I can invest in some company stake as well.” At the invite of entering the building, she followed after the salary man, and explained along the way why his name was familiar, “Duchess Melody of Tuffle village in the western lands, is one of my mentors, I learned quite a few swordsmanship techniques from her, she mentioned you and your company to me at some point. As well as a turtle school master named Will O’ Wisp who I met in one of those unfortunate underground fighting rings…”
It was clear that Clove had lost her match in the ring when she curled her fingers into a fist by saying it outloud. After a pause she continued to speak, “I would have come sooner, I honestly thought I had a deep understanding of my businesses, but if I can cut out expenditures like you said, the savings from it will allow me to open another restaurant. I am ready if you are.” She turned to look at Silver who may have still been on the fence, she figured she was a calm calculative woman by the number of ribbons on her uniform, so it made sense that she needed to formulate her thoughts. “I know we just met, you look like you are a good judge of character, so I am sure you can still manage to hear this salaryman out on the changes he plans to make for the company, without having to sign anything, Silver-san.”[537] [4,033/8,000] Bass Silver Snow

Listening to Bass with a calm disposition, Silver would seem to have a bit of a look of disappointment in the blue Namekian's talk of business, seeming to have no interest in the woman's skills and instead referring her to the business and highlights of the city. She already knew much about how South City was normally be a great place to visit during this time of year, but she didn't exactly have the money to experience it, not to mention the fact of the various salarymen and mascots clogging up the streets, making it hard to travel even if she did have the money to enjoy the city to it's full extent. Things would change very quickly however, as Bass would move to talking about hiring a security task force, not for his company specifically, but for the Earth itself. This idea intrigued Silver Snow greatly, and as she would dwell into her thoughts of such a task force, she would quickly remind herself of the Red Ribbon Army of the past, with all of it's military might. She was unsure if this plan would work well, but if she could at the very least take this sort of job, she could use it to hire smaller cells of the fragmented remnants of the RR into one piece, under the guise of a defensive fleet for the Earth. Smiling a bit, Silver would look to Clove and then back to Bass, before talking. "Ah, a task security force around the Earth? I actually have had somewhat of a similar idea in mind, but without the money to put it into action. I won't sign a thing just yet... but I think I will be willing to hear this out inside... away from this crowd."Taking a few steps forward, Silver would take a good look at Clove, seeing her willingness to talk out things with Bass but also remembering her connections to people she had referenced. The white-haired soldier only knew Melody from information on the internet, and she couldn't recognize the other person that that Clove had mentioned at all, but the fact that she had mentioned the Tuffles did raise her curiosity, since they were known for high levels of technology, something which she valued a bit for keeping up with others. Taking her time in following Bass inside, Silver would turn to talking with Clove, to ask more. "So miss Tea... pardon the intrusion, but you said a Tuffle Village, correct? Did you get to experience their technological advances first hand? I have a understanding that their technology is highly valued, and could help further a possible security force on this planet if used in the right way."Waiting a bit for an answer from Clove, Silver would silently hope to herself that she didn't push too far into asking the woman. She didn't want a exact discussion of her training under her "master" Melody, but she was certainly interested in the technological capabilities of the Tuffles, and how it could be used in times of conflict. She was hoping of getting a calm answer now, but whatever did happen she hoped at least she would get some info from the woman, even if it was mostly useless. Heading indoors after letting Bass go in first, Silver would hold onto her central medal on her chest, breathing in and out slowly. She had no idea of how things were gonna go within this building, but from her hope, she would come out of this meeting with a lot more influence and power. At the very least though, if things did go sour during this meeting, she would at the very least have some information, so whatever did happen, she would certainly be okay either way. Holding the door open for Clove, Silver would turn to Bass, before calmly speaking. "So, your the owner of this building right? Lead the way then."

Bass started by making a potential correction, based off speculation alone if nothing else.
"I think she meant Truffle Village- could always be wrong though, I suppose."
Standing at the entrance of the building and looking up, the large white dome-like structure with MOMENTUM in bold black sans-serif characters stood dauntingly. It'd grown over time- being the most profitable of all of the different branches. Now with the corporate side of things collapsing, each branch had to fend for themselves. Bass didn't seem to struggle with this transition- perhaps even having been looking forward to it.
"Yes, this would in fact be the building I am an owner of. We'll head up to my office."
Despite saying that, he'd still take the time to address some of the things on the table. Which, speaking of tables he'd walk up to the sign-in desk and quickly pen in something. Likely him and whatever for the other two. It looked like he didn't care much for security, for if either of them actually checked the sheet they'd just see 'Bass + people x2' written in the row.
"So, Will's actually managed to become a master of the turtle school?"
Saying that, Bass reached over towards a cubicle they were passing by that was empty to yoink the chair that was resting there.
"Office only has one guest seat, so I'll just borrow this quickly. But wow, that is surprising. He'd always just puff smoke and blow glitter, it's a welcomed change to find out he's actualized what he goes on about."
Recalling the clenched fist Clove made outside when she'd originally said that, Bass carried on.
"Can't say I've lost much, but if I did it'd probably be a pretty big kick in the ass. Just take it in stride and use it to break through the crap holding you back."
Approaching the door to his office on the topmost floor, Bass would lightly shove open the door. Inside would be various displays. Some were reserved for figurines and special collectible items. The figurines in particular were Koma of the Bear Clan, Bryce Vandross, Zukkah and Bass- but not the one pushing the door open; this figurine seemed to have an apocalyptic makeover and a throne of zeni in tow.
There'd be some fairly valuable things if either of them could recognize what they were. The Armor of Vegeta was in a glass casing, for example. Regardless, the Namekian didn't really give much time to take in the sights.
"Well, business time."
Walking through the room he'd drop down into his cushy leather chair. The ones they had were actually nearly as nice to sit on. Unlike typical scratchy or hard office chairs, they were just shy of couches. It seemed the Namekian didn't cheap out on employee accommodations.
"Melody and I have had a history, a few adventures here and there. Now, essentially on paper what we do is we manage your accounts. You bank with the normal run of the mill big corps and you get slaughtered in transaction fees and taxation. Thimk of Momentum like a lock on a package going through a delivery service. The delivery guy can't get in to mess with the contents, take your zeni, yadda yadda. That means you maintain more of the wealth you earned. Of course, we're a company too. Yet unlike the global mammoth companies that need millions and millions to upkeep operating costs, we're as of quite recently a single location with an impressive but reasonably concise list of clients from around the world. So, you give us less than you'd give them."
Bass paused to gauge Cloves reaction, before continuing.
"But, I am more than Momentum Financial, the company while it once was is not more than me. In order to not have to dirty our reputation with scandalous transaction fees and shameless marketing I offset the remainder of our operating costs through outside means. I'd normally not tell you this, but I'm currently in the presence of an incredibly talented fighter and a military operative. The way I can actually save you the biggest amount of zeni is simple.
You want to buy say... A phaser ring- that's some expensive stuff, it'll blow a hole in just about any normal persons pocket. Now, you come to me about that and I might just give it to you for free in exchange for being a part of The Momentum Corporation. Not your business, you as a person. Your business is the client, you're the asset."
Bass drummed his fingers on the desk for a quick moment as his attention shifted over towards Silver Snow.
"So, you want to hear more about our trajectory. I've been saying Momentum Financial and The Momentum Corporation, the former is what we are and the latter is what the overhaul will make the company. Diversification is the priority, branching out to much less niche markets across the world. Produce, toys, clothing, education, games, media. That's all great, all helpful, but honestly the most meaningful changes are the ones behind closed doors. Internally I'll be making the company an approachable place for capable fighters or fighters with potential. Since I can relate to the standing in front of rocks punching straight for ninety percent of the waking day, I can understand the ignorance to how the world actually works. Believing in the fundamentals of... I don't know... What's the word... Humanity I guess, even though all sentient life shares those traits. Most martial artists are in it to better the world, some- particularly from where you're from Clove have alternative motivations, but I don't think any good or bad in intentions want to see the world gone."
He took a moment to quiet down, if nothing else to just allow some time to process what was being said.
"Most people forget about it, most people think it'll just work out, but there are real problems. Piccolo Daimao, for instance. I've been there, and he's not doing nothing. If we're not hearing about it, it's because he wants us to feel it before we do. I want to be ready for that, be strong enough to rise to the occasion when it arrives. I can ensure that on my end, but even with the capacity to teleport anywhere I want I can't be everywhere at once. I need more people.
It is why I'm making a planetary security force, bureau, whatever you want to call it. Actually, if you want to call it something tell me- I need to think up of a name. It will operate with the backing of the Momentum Corporation but largely have an identity synonymous with itself as to not come with the... Technical strings a lawyer riddled corporation might impose on public perspective."
Bass would then shift in his seat and lean forward onto the desk, resting his elbows down and awaiting their responses.
"I'd share more details, but I'd like to see where your thoughts are as of now."

Clove listened to Silver ask about Tuffles in a way that did not sound like fungus, until Bass clarified that the demoness probably misspoke from saying Truffles, it was then that she realized she was so reflective of the incident with Team Citrus that everything the soldier was saying made sense. In fact, there was nothing in history involving Tuffles as much as Namekians or Saiyans, it was a racial term that had little substance in identifying a race that looked no different from earthlings.
“I apologize, I was thinking about something else, and I meant Truffles as in the most expensive mushroom in the world. Apart from Oolong City, the western lands are mostly farmlands and small villages ruled by the Pig Demon Duchies, before Piccolo Daimao ravaged the territories, the villages were warring states, that were united by Oolong and Yajirobe four hundred years ago.” Clove deadpanned on the question of Tuffles, “I have not seen the entirety of the world but I have met a trio of fighters with fruit names that looked very much human. However, after fighting a team of them, I noticed their intelligence level is superior, especially when they were fighting collectively. I encountered more of their kind in an underground bunker on an island near the south pole, their weapons could pierce through my demon form, and before I could even go near their base they all teleported en mass using mysterious technology and their ki signature rendered untraceable. The base exploded of any evidence of their whereabouts, I have a strange feeling they purposely erase any trace of what they are, and elude everyone for a reason after centuries--I want to say over a millenia but I have no evidence. After encountering so many, I feel they were about twenty steps ahead of me from finding out, I imagine it is to protect their technology.”
When Bass asked about Will O' Wisp then proceeded to describe him a magical fairy cat with glitter, Clove burst out laughing, she respected the tuxedo pattern feline for his reputation, after teaming up with him and losing to Tuffles, followed by sparring him in Satan City, he was anything but a Turtle School Master. “Well, he admitted he had been in a coma over a decade, and started to realize that he forgot his master training with Turtle School. I gave up the desire to enter the World Martial Arts Tournament, after losing the underground fighting ring with Will as my team mate, against Team Citrus who have bounties on their heads by the world government.”
Clove sighed, it seemed no matter how strong she had become after all this time, there were still some things that were out of her control and rather than face her problems head on she would rather return home to protect what is really important apart from her own personal pride: family. The salaryman suggested using the experience of a loss as fuel, instead she allowed it to cast a shade on her martial arts abilities, being outnumbered only proved that you are as strong as your allies; she would never blame Will for their uncoordinated teamwork their opposition was practically choreographed and it showed.
“I do not doubt my own abilities but being outnumbered has made me feel vulnerable.” The tea princess admitted as she took a seat inside Bass’ office, she recognized familiar figurines of the people she had met on a shelf, except for the one of Bryce, an Android who owned a farm in the Western Lands who she never met, but her younger sister had.
When Bass began to describe Momentum Financial, it seemed that they used lucrative schemes to gain profits from their clients, it was strange that the Namekian was being so honest about it, and perhaps at one point he was responsible for those scams to elevate the company until he changed his point of view. Clients were no different from assets, the world view needed to change, despite the Pig Demon Duchies having the worst crime rates comparative to the Southern Demon lands when Bass described her homeland territory as having ‘alternative motivations’. Clove shrugged, it would be difficult to erase the daimao, samurai, and yakuzsa culture of the western lands let alone get rid of the red light district during a cold war. Even her younger sister Juniper felt that there was a perfect balance between good and evil within the walls of Zen Estate and outside of it; which meant her sister harbored criminals to balance out justice under her own roof like two sides of a coin.
“Piccolo Daimao is still someone everyone should fear in this false sense of peace of having a coffee in the afternoon,” Clove said with a serious face, “The Pig Demon Duchies have been sending military units to support Capsule Corp and Red Ribbon, to remove the namekian horde’s fortress stronghold on the territory bordering Western Lands and Central Lands for half a millennia. We cannot go near Piccolo Daimao until we remove his army’s control of the mainland first. It’s not a matter of power, it is a matter of tactic, my brother-in-law Koma of The White Cat Clan guardians of Korin’s Holy Tower, Daimao of the Dandelion Clan, is taking every necessary step to destroy that fortress as we speak, by securing a vantage point from the Northern Lands.”
Clove leaned back in her chair casually, even going as far as sliding another gum drop in her mouth, and shook her head. “I am terrible at corporate names, it should sound organized if anything, that is what we need most in this cold war, a tactician of sorts. Tell me, which clan of Namekian do you hail from, Bass-kun?” [961] [6,819/8,000] Bass Silver Snow

Realizing that Clove merely was talking about Truffle Village, and not about Tuffles, Silver would almost begin to apologize for the girl, before she would hear the tea princess's talk about meeting a group of Tuffles with advanced technology. Learning how they blew up their own base in order to elude the woman and to keep their technology hidden, she would sigh a bit, before crossing her arms in a bit of disappointment. If they were still around, she would probably try to meet up with them so that she could steal their technology, but with them having gotten away she'd have to find them on her own time. "Oh, you meant Truffle Village? My bad. Still though, you said you actually fought a few, and that you witnessed them blow up their own base to avoid capture? That's... well someone with that level of conviction must be really convicted in their goals, I can say that much at least. Let's just hope that these goals aren't sinister, otherwise they may actually be a big danger. Speaking of which..."Turning to Bass, Silver would pull out a piece of paper, namely an a old map depicting a Red Ribbon logo in the place of a atlas and with the signatures of various members of her family. "I actually do happen to be looking for a Phaser Ring, but I do have something that I think could be of value to give to you, alongside the help to change this world. It's a map from my mother, passed down for the past few generations. I frankly have no interest in what it leads to, but I do believe it does lead to something incredibly valuable..."Sliding the map across the table, Silver would take a casual seat, crossing her legs as she would look at Bass. The Namekian's words about Piccolo Daimao certainly were true, and he was certainly a major threat, both to her own goals of conquest as well as to the world at large. However, something else would come to her mind as Bass would continue on about a planetary security force. If someone were to actually defeat the Northern Demon Kingdom, not just protect from it, Silver would imagine that they would gain a heavy amount of admiration across the world. Admiration... that could be used to advance her own goals, of building a new Red Ribbon Army. If anything convinced the common folk most effectively, Silver thought, it was adoration and admiration for a person or a ideal, and being seen as a savior would give her a lot of sway on the world. It probably wouldn't let her completely conquer the world through voice alone, but at the very least it would help finally awaken the various Red Ribbon remnants and convince them to rejoin into a singular army. She hoped so at the least, cause if even a single thing went wrong... well there was no knowing what would happen, and that was what would scare her the most. "So you wish to finally deal with Piccolo Daimao once and for all? Frankly I would assume you'd be more worried about the Southern Demon Kingdoms due to how close they are to the South Lands, but your absolutely right in thinking that he's the bigger threat. There are other threats besides that though, from those Tuffles that Clove had met, to wild gangs and Arcosian cults. I even consider Little Vegeta to be a threat, with how it only takes one uniting force to turn them from a mere mafia to a ticking time bomb for Oolong City."
"Now, I meant to keep this hidden, but since your supporting them Clove I feel like I no longer really need to. I am a soldier working for the Red Ribbon Army... or at least a small remnant of them. A long time ago the whole army split off following a big tragedy, and some went to join Capsule Corp as mercenaries. The remnant I came from however chose not to, but that does not mean we would oppose them. Personally the idea of taking down the Northern Demon Kingdom should work out well, but to do so you'll need plenty more than just that. You need not just a tactical advantage, but a technological one as well. Capsule Corp I can say already provides somewhat of a small advantage to that, but you'll need more than just a slight advantage, you need a definitive one."Letting out a heavy grin, Silver would look down to her medal for a brief moment, before turning back to Bass. "My suggestion? Well for the name I am inclined to not be a decider for it, considering I would be a bit biased when it would come to naming this group. However, as a first action once things go down... my suggestion would be to search around the world. Possibly find more of those weird Tuffles and secure their tech and trust before they blow it up. Search through old Red Ribbon bunkers, to pull out some of their old Battle Jackets to modernize into proper weaponry. Developing a army of android soldiers would probably be going too far, but having a few as commanders would help make for a advantage too."
"If you can do all of that, I think we should have sufficient odds for not just stopping Piccolo Daimao, but perhaps outright killing him once and for all. And in a situation like that... I'm all in. What say you though?"

Look towards Clove after everyone had finished speaking, he freely answered the question with surprising carelessness in his voice.
"I came from King Piccolo, so I suppose that'd make me part of the Demon Clan or something."
With that out of the way, he'd return his attention to just generally the both of them. Then he snapped his fingers. "Right, the ring. From the sounds of it you're interested in joining up, so I'll do this out of good faith. Mind you, I'm getting something in return..." He mentioned while looking towards the map as his other hand pulled out a drawer and plucked out a phaser ring.
Tossing it over, he returned towards his desk.
"Eh, I'll check it out during my next break."
Taking a seat and readjusting himself, the Namekian shifted his position to be partly sideways, lifting up a knee to rest an elbow on as he thought of the intricacies of his response- he largely had it figured out since the ideas had been shared.
"Personally? I find myself to be more about the actualization of self over all other avenues. Sure you can devise a strategy- that's great if you can. Sure, you can prepare and build up an army of robots or recruits, that's also nice. Though what I find the most effective and what I'll by and large stick to is the pursuit of personal strength. Of course, those who join me will be able to freely partake in such endeavours to push themselves to previously thought impossible lengths, but by no means have too."
He paused, before elaborating.
"I'm not denying the idea, no. I'm just saying that I won't be sticking my fingers in that pie. If you join up and take the initiative to do something that by and large isn't a detriment by any definition of the word to proper living folk and martial artists, I don't have a problem with that. I just believe at the end of the day you can only rely on your own two fists to solve your problems. At least problems of the physical kind.
I'm regularly going around the world anyways, so if there are any Tuffles causing problems I'll try and get their stuff, shouldn't be that big of a deal."
Bass folded his arms in his seat, looking up towards the ceiling.
"Well, I'll think on a name over the coming weeks. Just know if you are interested it's not a loose commitment, we'd be a team... So, I'll let you both take some time to make your decisions, you can send me mail or tell me your answers in person at any time within the reasonable near future.
I believe that's everything."
