Appearance:
(Left: Normal Gris, Right: Possessed Gris)
Griselda Meyer wears what she can get her hands on but typically likes really cutesy dresses. She has several school uniforms, summer dresses, and suspender dresses all for this purpose in mind. She's a rather small girl, most of her dresses fit her small frame and height of 4'4" with extra small. She weighs little more than 100 with the sword in tow. Silvery hair cut in a bob and pinned with a variety of hairpins. Depends on the season and occasion. Light green eyes are usually settled rather innocently on an adolescent face.
Special attention is called to the demon sword Usumidori. A katana in form, the scabbard of Usumidori is a sleek black-coated wood with rings of metal holding some loose leathers. These rings are evenly separate, except in the center of the scabbard where gold engravings of the blade's name are written. The blade itself is a dark steel, forged with a thin cutting edge and coincidentally has the same golden engravings on its side. One might mistake it for a ceremonial sword, but it nevertheless was made for battle.
When Usumidori takes control over its host wielder a few changes appear on the individual. Eyes dilate at the start before a bright glowing red takes over the pupil area. Any aura the host wielder possessed before is coated in a dark flame. A deep black-purple fire that whips sporadically with that demonic power laced within. The sword itself, if appropriately powered up, can give that same flame off as its own aura while drawn.

History:
Griselda
Griselda. Born the youngest of several from the Meyers as one of the wealthier and well off human families within the Southern Demon Kingdoms. Like most, the child had been raised to accept their overlords from the nethers and embrace a family tradition. The meters were well known enough for helping out the demons in exchange for land and prosperity through their retooling of other basic companies technology in order to better suit the monstrous demons using them. Pilaf's domain would take a special interest in this. The child was still expected to carry out not only this, but martial duties. Training becoming harsh and rudimentary. She picked up swordsmanship by eight.
She herself was never good at the art. Scolded now by her father who at this point had demon blood running through him. Yeah, the Meyer family had a lot of demon influence and wedding amongst them over the years. Griselda herself though was only an eighth demon. And that part of her never particularly shined though during anything. Her tutorship over most basic education proved she had a good head on her shoulders, but nothing more. That was, until the day came.
Usumidori. The demons had long since reclaimed their old kin from the clutches of the other natives on this earth. Keeping him safe for the time he might find one of them a worthy vessel. He was held but in a secluded cave, known by few. His deep guttural calls and growls resonate from the blade, scaring off most. But... not a certain girl. Compelled to skip out on her sword training for the day, Gris decided to hide deep into nearby mountains. Finding the blade in its scabbard leaned up against the dank cave walls. The demon had sensed something different about this little one. Innocent, yet tainted. But even he did not know. She seemed highly compatible as a vessel, and enticed the girl to just hold the sword. It was enough to link and possess her for the first time.
To say she was scared was an understatement, but the complaisant girl had no control over herself at the time. It mattered little then. Instead, a void surrounding her senses as she saw only a small porthole view of what her body was now doing. Through her eyes, now controlled by the demon sword as she held it out. He had certain other sword friends he'd want to destroy. Kill. Burn away. And she could feel all that. But in a weird twist of things, she felt fine that this anger wasn't directed at her. Towards her own actions. The two would find some mutual feeling and soon the girl would recollect her own body.
"How strange that you can bring back your consciousness after I take control. I knew something was off about you, girl. Now quick, we must find the others. Your parents would not like seeing their new master just yet. We are weak in this state."
Griselda, mostly compelled to help him, was also a bit frightened by what he could do. Obeying was the one thing she was good at, and so she'd abandon her home with a pack behind her and a sword to her side. The duo finding themselves crossing over the demon lands and into other grounds. Was this a quest for revenge? Recollection? Griselda knew not what the sword wanted, just that he wanted it.
RP Sample:
"Ehhh.... Can't really say I know of a 'Masamune' or nothin'. All of our swords are documented and created here, kid. We know where they go."
Gris was having a rough time looking around for these swords Usumidori kept mentioning. Here she was in a popular smith shop for bladed weaponry just at the edges of the southern lands. Usumidori had not told her anything specific about this sword in particular but had said it was still somewhere in these lands. His connection was never perfect with his siblings, but he was sure of that at least. The smaller girl sighed as the older man explained himself to her.
"Oh...? Are you suuuuure? Okay, sir, I was just looking for it is all. I needed it real bad."
This would cause the man to lean on the counter and perk a brow at her. Lifting his head to glance around and see she was alone. No parents, guardians, or siblings. Nothing. It was a bit unsettling and caused him to question the girl this time. It threw her off.
"Say, Griselda was it? You didn't happen to come on in with anyone else did ya? Got parents or anything I can talk to?"
The girl took a step back and almost whimpered. Shaking her head before the sword had to butt in. The sword gave Griselda no warning before taking over, making the girl draw him from the side and point it rather threateningly at the man with its tip already poking at his neck. While speaking through Griselda, it is not his normal guttural drawl. Rather, Griselda's own voice is turned cold. Inflections and accent changed subtly to more suit the demon sword's own attitude.
"Listen here, mortal, you tire my patience with your rambling nonsense about markets and stock of your own swords. I require answers, and I want them now. You will tell me and my vessel here where Masamune is."
A few others in the shop almost yelp at the sudden transformation, but seeing as it wasn't a straight kill and more a threat they'd just hold with bated breath. The guy himself whimpered and was sweating with a sword to her throat, careful not to move and stoke the agitated flames of the demon even more. Was smart enough not to lose his head for this.
"Whoa whoa, okay okay. I'm tellin' ya, we don't have records on that blade-"
With a very precise movement, the demon blade crossed and swiped at the man's neck, nicking it slightly. Enough to break the skin and cause a little bleeding. The man yelled and stumbled back and grabbed his neck, but it was nothing more than a razor-precise scrape. Some of the other people around them looked shocked, one woman passing out after a gasp as she was working on something in the back. This answer, very clearly, did not please Usumidori.
"Do not lie to me, I can feel your heartbeat from here! What do you gain from hiding it?"
The smith recollected himself and stood back up straight, just shaking his head. Arms up as a further sign of submission to the possessed girl.
"Alright, alright! Look, I wasn't lying that it wasn't in our records! Just trust me when I say we don't have it on log! I just knew a guy!"
The answer intrigued him a little more. The sword eventually lowered itself down more passively, stepping forward to keep the pressure on him without the threat. As much pressure as a little girl could put up with. being a good bit shorter just made it look funny from an observer's perspective.
"Go on then."
"It was a guy. He... he wanted a steel blade fit for rigorous fights. But he seemed a little off, ya know. Acted strange. Knowledgeable about smithing without seeming to be a smith themselves. And they already had another blade."
A modicum of restraint was rewarded. Usumidori glowered at the guy and sheathed himself finally. Maintaining a soul-burning focus on him while the blade stared up at him.
"And you didn't get the man's name. Nor the sword. This is just a hunch you have?"
"Look man, he didn't give me anything other than 'One'. I assumed he was some shut-in, and just wanted another blade!"
Usumidori then just... snapped at him and kicked out the man's left leg. Tripping him up and making him fall hard on the side before smirking and stepped closer to the shop's exit. laughing on his way out. He had gotten his answer, and he had thought he'd know what to look for now. His hastiness would cost him maybe a timeframe, but that wasn't here or there. Griselda got herself back into control then, and she flipped out.
"H-hey! You didn't need to threaten them! I was getting there, I-I just-"
The sword, though now not speaking to her through a vessel, does have the ability to resonate his voice from the blade itself. Though the voice might feel like they are in their heads. This was when the demon sounded booming and deep. Grabbing anyone's attention, especially when he's talking to Griselda.
"You are slow and small. You must assert yourself. I have a name in ten seconds. Now, let's be on our way."
