“I was promised a show! C-C’mon, I have to go home early today, remember? I’ve got a load of tests this evening…” ”Don’t you bark at me. We’re early, rem'mber? Not ev'ryone’s lives r'volve 'round your sch'dule, kid.” “Wouldn’t be surprised if plenty of things revolved around you, Waka…” ”When’d you grow up to be such a brat? Is that hosp'tal full of punks? Seriously… you’re s'pposed to be cute and frail, right?” “The only bad influence I know is an oversized fox!” ”T-Tch…”
It was perhaps a slightly surreal sight – a 7’ foot beastman being bullied by a girl who probably didn’t even measure up to half her height; and especially not while sitting in a wheelchair. But, this was about business as usual for Waka and her charge from the Abbatantuono family. Flawless white hair, pale skin like ceramic, and a white dress that looked somewhere between a doll’s outfit and a hospital gown… Adelaide ought to be a pitiful sight. Being cooped up in her bed all day hadn’t made her miserable or insecure, though – it’d just made her more fiery.
Though the central business district – or, in West City’s case, districts – were concrete and steel as far as the eye could see; out in the suburban outskirts of the city there were plenty of pockets of greenery like the one the pair were currently waiting at. This was a particularly expansive park, centred around a man-made lake. Almost no one came here anymore, as it was originally intended for a development project that totally fell through, and it was hardly near enough to any suburban hubs to be practical… but, that suited Waka quite well. Not quite as nice as her cabin for meditation, but just fine for giving Adelaide something to do with her weekends.
But, in this case, as the sun just began to dip from the peak of its course, Waka had bigger plans. Though it seemed like that cashed up waitress was plenty busy with family business and more, and frankly she didn’t want to go calling that punk out of the blue; she did owe someone a spar – and, in spite of some nerves, she’d gone through with it. N-Now, it wasn’t like she was a wuss or anxious or whatever, b-but she just wasn’t so good with new faces. And, well… everyone got a bit nervous afterwards, right? Hopefully he’d made sense of the address…
”I can’t ev'n complain too much. You did your ex'rcises with ease this time around, kitten. You’re gonna make me look bad in fr'nt this guy if you keep it up.” huffed Waka, albeit clearly just faking her irritation – she was enjoying the back-and-forth, as usual. ”He seemed like a good kid, so I’m sure he won’t stand up a pretty lady like me. Harr harr.”
“What do you mean, ‘seemed’? D-Do you even know him? I don’t want you to go inviting strangers around to show off… or, do you just want to play hero for me, huh? Geez, you’re pathetic.” bit back the girl – but, only to realise she’d overstepped her bounds as Waka flashed her fangs in return. “R-Right, sorry, sorry, Waka. But… no, I’m just teasing. I trust you. Besides! I want to see a fight, and not on TV. It’s not like any of my nurses could promise that, so it’s all on you.”
“So, do you want to lay a bet? That’s what my grandpa always says when we play board games.” ”What, I’m putt'ng on a show for you and I’m s'pposed to put a price on my head, too? What a spoiled brat.” “You have to say that stupid line you always say about your super form, okay? Ufufu… if you do that, I’ll tell my grandpa you were sooo amazing today~” ”E-Errk… y-yeah, w-well, I’ll think about it…!”

West City, the large area bordering both the lawlessness of the settlements to the west, and the faction-based powers of the Demon-controlled east. For a place like this, it's surprising how many people visit and live in this area despite this, but it seems that people do not worry about these issues when they have important facilities like Capsule Corp. around, making it too valuable to destroy. Or they everyone here was all stupid, no one could tell. One of these supposed idiots was Nase, who had just returned to the City via his motorbike and left it in one of the bicycle stands in front of a shop. Were you supposed to put it there if it was a motorbike instead of a normal one? He didn't know and at this point, it was too late to ask. Walking down the path he entered on, he went around the city with his hands in his pockets as if he were looking for something. Actually, it was someone. Specifically, someone he had planned to meet from a long time ago and someone that would be impossible to miss in a crowd. Thinking to himself, Nase remembered the first time that he met the fox beastwoman and though it had been a while, he was wondering what he was in for once they met. He'd been fighting a lot recently, and Nase had felt himself becoming a huge amount stronger than he was before, but even then, would strength alone be enough to stop his opponent's most dangerous move: flustering him. He guessed he would just have to wait and find out when they met. Consequently, while Nase was walking almost aimlessly and thinking about this, he walked past a park and heard a familiar-sounding voice coming from it. Turning around, he heard the voice again as if they were talking to someone inside. With a quick jump over the fence, he began walking inwards as he saw the beastwoman that stood a full foot taller than him come into view. He also noticed that there was a pale girl next to her sitting in a wheelchair, who had seemingly finished teasing her. "...That's you, isn't it? Hey, it's been a while. It seems I arrived a bit late, huh? Who's this?"As he said the last part, he raised his hand up towards the unknown Adelaide that was just heckling Waka out of earshot. Standing straight up afterwards, Nase removed his hands from his pockets and looked up to Waka again with a knowing smirk. "So, we're still up for our spar, yeah? Here does look fine as long as we don't cause enough damage to be noticed, heh."Nase didn't really notice it at the moment, but he felt much more relaxed around Waka than when they were in Daruma Tea those days ago. Maybe it was his travel making him more mature? Or maybe it was because she hadn't said anything 'bullying' yet. Time would have to tell with that one. Regardless, as they all stood in the abandoned park, Nase slowly removed his jacket to protect it from battle damage and placed it on the ground gingerly. "Also, don't worry. I still remember our rules against things like stabbing each other, so we should be alright."

As Nase cruised by like the breeze, Waka would at least try and give him a wave – it really wasn’t necessary, though. While her height wasn’t always convenient for all kinds of reasons, it was truly impossible to miss her. Of course, the girl herself would look as blank as ever, but a keen eye would notice her vulpine tail begin to wag behind her, albeit sluggishly thanks to its size. ”See, he’s a gentlem'n. This is puppy, or Nase, if you’re feeling gen'rous.” explained the fox to her company, before he got too close. ”You gotta play nice now; be a good girl. For once, huh?”
Thankfully for her, Adelaide was at least that generous. Once the boy had greeted them, she too would give a little wave – and promptly show that her generosity could only be stretched to five or so seconds. “How do you do? I don’t believe we’ve had the pleasure. I am Adelaide Abbatantuono… it’s a pleasure to meet you.” Full of grace and gentle kindness, the little girl shone with a smile like the sun – until the eclipse. “I know you two are excited, but please go easy on my pet. She’s a rare pedigree.”
”Hard pass on that 'ngle, kitten.” stated Waka promptly, barely giving a reaction this time, before totally dismissing the girl’s introduction and focussing on Nase herself – ”Yo. You’re not late, I just keep mys'lf busy. And, looks like you’ve been busy, too. You’re look'ng a lot more confident, puppy. Hm, look'ng like that, I was a little worried you were going to ask to chick'n out… you know you’re up against a scary punk like me, right? You can be a little anxious; I won’t make fun of you for it… much~”
Well, someone was clearly having a good time already. ”The brat here just want'd to be along for the show, and her grandpa pays me big money to put up with her, so just cons'der this a pay-per-view. The same rules apply to her; it’d be pref'rred if you don’t stab her either. In spite of how she’s act'ng right now, she’s usu'lly a good kid. Well, by my stand'rds, 'nyway.” grumbled the fox, shooting a glare at Adelaide, who unsurprisingly was busy giggling at Waka’s showy demeanour so far.
While Nase warmed up, Waka would prepare herself too – albeit considerably less elegantly. It seemed she and Adelaide had a picnic planned at one point, judging by the hamper that was with them, but the truth was promptly revealed – it was really just the remains of Waka’s lunch, courtesy of her ridiculous appetite. Jerky, brisket sandwiches, and chicken wraps did not stand a chance before her… though, she wouldn’t miss a crumb, either. An elegant glutton… or, maybe just a very efficient glutton. It seemed to be par for the course, though, as Adelaide didn’t raise an eyebrow; busy appraising Nase instead.
With that, though, it seemed like the scene was set. Mimicking her opponent, Waka would squeeze out of her sweater; leaving just her white button-up shirt underneath. Somehow… it might have been a more dangerous look than her sweater; it was a wonder the buttons had survived so long. ”Alright. Now, I’m tough as nails, so you can play a bit rough with me. But, if you get worn out first, don’t be afraid to tap out before you pass out – endur'nce is what I’m all about. Just think of me as a real good punch'ng bag.” boasted the fox, albeit with her usual self-derisive edge to her words; ”But, I’m not gonna play too nice either. With a full stomach and a viewer, I gotta d'fend my ego. So, let’s see how much you’ve grown up, pup-“
“You should place a bet. A match just for ‘training’ is too boring.” ”Again with this? You’ve had your fun, pipe down already.” Glancing at the two combatants, Adelaide paused in thought… before a troublesome smile coloured her face. “I’m thinking, the loser has to make dinner for the winner. You’re a good cook, aren’t you, Waka? It’ll be your chance to show your housewife skills.” ”Mm… it’s true, I like – hey, I’m going to win, so cut that out. But, I’ll agree to it. I wanna see puppy go pale when he realises how much he has to cook for me.”
Rubbing her hands together with newly sparked motivation, Waka’s blank expression became a little more of a smirk; her fangs poking around her lips – ”I’m not gonna let you back out now, puppy. Let’s see how rough you can be.”

Seeing the emotionless fox woman wave to him, Nase remembered how her face rarely emoted and instead waited to hear her instead to gauge her emotion, though he did notice a soft wagging behind the tall. Noticing the extreme politeness coming from this Adelaide, Nase had to fight the urge to bow in response. That is, until he heard the 'pet' joke coming from the same girl. Chuckling a little bit from this, Nase responded to Waka's acknowledgement. "Busy? Yeah, I've gone back to travelling again and you wouldn't believe how much food-related issues happened at once in one spot. It was a whole mess..."Standing there with his arms akimbo, Nase was feeling a small amount of pride within himself during the conversation. I mean, he didn't even flinch when he was called puppy. Visibly, he didn't flinch visibly. Ok, he may have reacted almost immediately to the name, but he didn't blush hard like last time! That should count for something. To take his mind off of it, he began to lightly hop in place, feigning warming up instead of blushing. "N-nah, I've been waiting for this battle for a while now, so I'm not going to run away that easily. And besides, you aren't really keeping up the 'scary thug' theme when you're taking care of a child right now."Hah! He could fire back too when he wanted. At any rate, it turned out that the elegant patient was here to watch the fight, and as Waka kept talking, he noticed her beaming behind the beastwoman almost out of her eyesight. "Ah, don't worry about it. I'm not one for hostages either. She seems nice, so far that is."Then Nase saw Waka pick up the picnic basket that was to the side and was shocked by what came right afterwards. So many different types of meats and other foods appeared just to disappear again soon after as Waka ate the whole thing without mercy. Watching... not in horror, but in pure awe, Nase stood there as she finished her meal and looked towards him. He then watched as she went down to her undershirt as well and... he stayed there awhile. Just, standing there. Coming back to reality, he heard her talking about how strong she was defence-wise, and Nase readied himself by going into a battle position. She also warned him that if he is going unconscious, he should tell her as she mainly deals with stamina, especially since she just ate. "Alright, let's go then."Before they could start, however, they were interrupted by Adelaide speaking up and saying that they should up the stakes. At first, it was dismissed by Nase's opponent, but then they mentioned a certain bet that seemed to pique the fox woman's interest. Cooking dinner for the other, a bet that Waka was enjoying a bit too much. Well, Nase was able to cook, so the bet was possible, but... While calling him 'Puppy' another time, Nase saw her usual bored face transform into a determined look, one that meant she was extremely serious about this. Uh oh."How rough I can be..? Alright. We'll see how this goes!"He thought that if she's going to get this serious, then so should he, right? Right! Lowering into a crouched position, Nase entered a long-stanced pose based off of a Tai Chi position and lowered a hand and summoned energy towards it. For some reason, he didn't think to hide his robotic enhancements this time around, but as his energy rose a ball of ki formed above it, causing the hatch in his hand to open up as well. --Class Trait! Dynamic Entry!!-- Within one swift motion, Nase stood up again and launched the ki blast Waka's direction and kept his eyes focused on it as it came towards Waka, the green energy whistling through the air as it went. "Take this!"8tEUovFg1d100 +30 to hit As the blast continued forward, Nase lowered his arm slightly and a small flash came off of the ki blasts before it hit her. As the flash came off of his blast, Nase's dragon tattoo also began to glow at the section near to his neck. Suddenly, as if it were expecting a block, the ki blast dipped towards Waka's stomach area and exploded right in front of her, not hitting her, but creating a burst of light and a puff of smoke. --General Trait! Warning Shot!!-- 1d12 +3 to lower defense "Let's do this!"

As Nase did his best to bluff through Waka’s teasing, the fox herself just nodded along – alas, the only reaction for his attempt to fire back was a raised eyebrow from her, but it was still better than nothing. Especially given her usual demeanour. ”Food relat'd issues, huh? Jabs aside, I don’t meet too many of them, hon'stly. Must’ve been miser'ble. Mm… see, I assured you he was a good kid. Kinda chipp'r for my tastes, but he’s not bad.” mused the lady, glancing at Adelaide – the smaller girl was still smiling away, though, clearly far too entertained by the theatrics to cut in. After all, she didn’t need to cut in when Waka was so capable of humiliating herself on her own terms. But, she didn’t have much more to say before sparks began to fly – particular as Nase didn’t object to the petty gamble. She would, however, look impressed by his posture. ”Hm, that’s Tàijí quán, right? This should be quite a match. Can your soft form face my Bājí, boy? There’s a say'ng about my art, you know. ‘I do not know what it’s like to hit a man twice’…” growled Waka, finding newfound excitement in the matchup – she didn’t meet many fighters with styles, much less a similar one. As he took his stance, she would follow with a deep breath; meditating as she braced herself, preparing to take her own stance – but, she was far too late. Though it was a whiffed shot, Waka was totally unprepared for it; losing her stance as she moved to defend instead – and, even that proved unwise, as Nase tricked her with its next move. Unfortunately, though, it proved to be a bit of a dud; at least against a punk like the fox. Rubbing her eyes with her forearm, she was soon herself again in spite of the show… albeit looking a little less smug and a bit more annoyed instead. ”Tch… how rude. And – you’re an android, huh? Or, is that anoth'r trick? Hm…” rumbled the lady, before regaining her calm and finally finding her stance – not a combat one, at least at a glance, but instead a yoga-esque saddle stance. ”Fine by me, either way. Robots… still have their own flavour, you know…”Breathing deeply, she slowly manifested her pink ki, as the Majin energy glowed in the air around her; sparking and biting. She closed her fists, forged her power, and tensed – then, she simply released, letting her stance relax and flow. Using her power explosively like Saiyan would be so unwieldly… rather than letting it burn like a fire, she drew it close and let it run like water. She pulled the ki inwards… and let herself relax into its embrace, shaping it to her form. Her emotions threatened to peak, frothing and snarling, but she restrained them – she was getting better at this, little by little. She closed her eyes, and just let it trickle down her spine. And so, before Nase’s eyes, the fox grew… gradually, but undoubtedly. From seven feet, to over fourteen feet; and then a foot more – her size was ridiculous. Yet, her aura bore no threat, as she calmed her energy… it crackled, writhed, and tore at her veins – but she restrained it. J-Just a bit more. But, as she finally opened her eyes, her ki howled, and tore through her serenity – stumbling briefly, Waka felt her control slip from her fingers for just a moment; and Nase might be able to feel her ki peak for a moment before settling at last. D-Dammit… she pushed herself too far. She’d just have to live with it… Exhaling, she continued to bind her ki, letting what she did have a handle on slither around her, before pulling it all together and focussing herself fully – only then could she release it, and take control of her new form. ”Alright… sorry, about the wait…” rumbled Waka, flexing her hands out, before leaning down over her knees – ”Fufu… it’s not a bad look, right? There’s a million folks out there who use this technique like me; who growl like me, don’t give a care like me, maybe dress like me; walk, talk, and gawk like me – and they just might be better than me, but – they ain’t quite me.”Boasting with such pride, Waka just wallowed in the attention for a while; enjoying the view. Even Adelaide gave a little clap, though it was hard to tell if she was being sarcastic again. At the very least, Waka was too lost in her ego to care. ”See, I even started wearing tights for this stuff. My wint'rwear and skirt’s part of my im'ge, so I had to impr'vise a bit.” mused the fox, waving idly at her garments; ”Mm, but… didn’t you say, ‘big is good’, b'fore? How’s this, huh, puppy? You like big girls?”Alas, while Waka said it so smugly, Adelaide just burst out laughing at the show – “Wow, wow! You really said it! You really are desperate, Waka.””Hush! That’s enough out of you. Now… first, I’ll crush this ant, then I’ll deal with you, kitten.”Waka’s shadow fell over Nase, as the gluttonous fox gave into her desires just a little – that stoic face looked a lot more devious right about now… but, well, at least he wouldn’t have to worry about missing anymore! Shifting his footing in his stance, Nase waited for a moment as Waka sized up his battle pose and smiled as she recognized it. Stretching his legs lightly, Nase answered as she began to applaud her own. "Yeah, it is actually. I mostly use it for relaxing and not fighting, but hey, whatever works."Nase took note of Waka's fighting style as well and felt a mixture of dread... and excitement. Due to their differing fighting styles, both of them would be complete opposites in their techniques, meaning that either he was about to be turned into a fine paste, or this fight was about to become really interesting. As Waka continued to hype herself up, Nase retorted swiftly before returning to form. "You've never hit someone twice? Let's see if you get to me once, then."... Nase stood his ground as he waited to see what happened to his 'punching bag', which as he saw wasn't much. Even from the distance, he saw that while it did shock her for a bit, it didn't do much after that. Crap, he thought he'd at least get something out of the surprise attack. Looking at her now, for a moment Nase worried about accidentally going too far in the fight and thought about restricting his strength. "(But... It should be fine, right? She said that she wasn't going to hold back...)"But while he was thinking about that, he noticed that she was fine, and instead, she was focusing more on the bionic parts that were visible all over. "Ah, yeah. I've been a... cyborg for a while now, but I'm still mostly humanoid. Wait, flavour?"Was she referring to ki like he (unfortunately) did, or... something else? No, he was just thinking weird. It's not like she'd eat people, right? Of course not. That wasn't important right now, however, as Nase saw Waka's body slowly began to glow bright pink as her ki manifested around her. As the energy around her became sharp and fast, he attempted to match this with his own. He focused his energy within himself until a green flame formed around him and as his power rose, he noticed that Waka's aura slowed, but didn't lessen at all. Well, if they were going to put on a show, he wasn't going to get upstaged! While Waka was seemingly becoming calmer as time progressed, Nase instead was acting more fierce as he lifted his leg up and slammed it back, causing a loud shockwave to come off of him. As his power kept rising, Nase began to feel real cocky about his strength... until he saw the figure ahead of him begin to grow. And boy, did she. She kept going until more than double her height, and even then she hadn't stopped. As he watched her looming over him, Nase was amazed at how calm the energy surrounding Waka was while she was this massive. Until it wasn't. For a split moment, it seemed that Waka lost control, because the full brunt of her energy was released for a moment, showing Nase a ki signature that was a good amount larger than his. "W-woah..."The cyborg, much to Waka's enjoyment, was awe-struck with her giant form, even more so now that she showed off the fact that she could move around like that too. As she showed off her new clothing, she brought up when he was first being teased and even through his dark skin, it was obvious he was blushing. Now, he could put 'being teased in front of an actual child,' on his list of achievements. "I... Ye... ah-"Turning from the confident fighter into a stuttering mess, it took him a while before he could regain his composure while Waka took the time to silence the laughing Adelaide behind her. Looking up again, Nase noticed the sly fox began to look at him with a entirely new face, one that made him stutter even more, actually. Eventually steeling himself, he leaned forward and raised his hands up. "Gah... take this!"Rushing forward with his aura bursting around him, Nase brought back his fist and launched it forward, aiming for her stomach for two important reasons: 1. Even when she went gigantic, Nase still didn't want to hurt her too badly (a feeling he would soon learn was unrequired), and 2. her legs were really all he could reach other than there. Taking a single step back, Nase jumped to about chest level before swinging again with his left hand open. Aiming for her shoulder, Nase boosted back to the ground. "Huh, I thought you said you didn't like magic?"

Post by Wakana Waka on Sept 9, 2020 16:39:41 GMT -8
While Nase’s display as he too prepared himself was impressive, it was still what Waka was used to – such violent power was scary the first few times, but it was something you could learn to anticipate. That green hue, though, was rather unique… hm, mint-flavoured, perhaps? Well, she’d just have to find out in due time. But while the fox was nonplussed, Adelaide had eyes the size of saucers as she watched the two square off… she’d seen Waka get fired up before, sure, but the fox was all about meditation and calming her ki – Nase’s display was far more entertaining. In fact, she’d just about placed her own bet already… Though, it wasn’t like Waka couldn’t show off either – Adelaide might be a bit tired of the fox’s showboating over her size, but Nase was an even better audience than the little girl had ever been. ”Mm, Saiy'ns and Dem'ns have their giant stuff too, but they don’t look as good as this, right? I don’t mind if you enjoy the view for a bit, you know…” she continued to gloat, revelling in the boy’s awe and bashfulness; ”…but, if I get hungry in the meantime, I won’t forg've you, either. I’ve got plenty of room in this form… harr harr.”She couldn’t keep up her bluffing any longer, though, as Nase zoomed in – suffice to say, there was no way he could miss Waka now; let alone miss her stomach. Unfortunately, his restraint really was unnecessary… his blow stung, certainly, but it didn’t shift the fox back a single step. She was just too heavy to dent. Or, maybe too soft? Something in between. She didn’t have time to defend herself, though, as he went in for a second strike which was far more successful; knocking her shoulder back from the impact and earning him a quick glare from the girl as he returned to the ground. ”That wasn’t bad, puppy. You’ve got some muscles. Or, met'l? What'ver.” rumbled the girl, before learning down and giving a slight pout – ”And, it’s not magic. It’s totally just a techn'que. Here, I’ve got more…” Focussing her pink ki again, Waka let it linger this time rather than pulling it in and under control. Unlike Nase’s flickering ki that sparked like fire or lightning, Waka’s Majin ki was slow and syrupy… as he’d soon learn, as it enveloped him. It wasn’t painful, but it clogged up and smothered his own ki… if he didn’t manage to blow it away now, it’d make him waste far more energy to get anything done. Unfortunately, Waka wasn’t about to just show off and relish the boy’s reaction this time – instead, she’d return his blows. Though she lacked his skill or ki-charged force, the rising palm strike that she opened with was backed up with fourteen feet of power behind it… not to mention a number of pounds that was best left to the imagination. This range was where her Bājí excelled, though, as the blow was sent with sudden force in spite of the close quarters and height disparity; aiming for Nase’s chin with no hint of mercy – however, thanks to her size and poor technique, the boy would probably find plenty of time to dodge despite the brief tell. He’d want to make the most of it, too, as Waka’s palm ended with a deep thunder of detonating ki; a small Mabakusenko exploding at the move’s impact. A second blow soon followed – a knee strike, which traditionally would be used to hit the thigh… but, well, with Waka’s current size, it’d probably swing for Nase’s chest. Again, the short range didn’t hinder its power at all thanks to the style behind it, but her size made it easier to see coming once in motion and gave Nase room to react. However, once again, it struck like a thunderclap rather than just a hit; with an explosion of ki making up for its speed. It was clear she was just a rookie in her martial art, if even that… but, maybe she could get away with it, if she really was as sturdy as she boasted. Though he felt too embarrassed to say it, Nase agreed that Waka looked good as she continued to boast about her appearance, but it sure made it difficult to want to hit her. Then again, she wasn't as worried as he was about this, and besides, he wasn't going to need to worry about that anyway. As Nase felt his strikes land, he looked up at Waka to see that she didn't look the worse for wear. In fact, she looked like she hadn't even gotten hurt by the first hit at all! Even so, Waka still praised his effort, though he could barely tell if it was genuine or not. He did see that he had a fan in Adelaide however, as she looked completely invested in his side of the battle. Hey, having fans doesn't feel so bad after all... As Nase turned back to the giantess, she made sure to explain that she wasn't using magic at all and to prove it, she'd use it again. Watching her conjure up a new attack probably wasn't the best idea ever, but to be fair, he never expected it to be anything like this. "What are you doi-"Suddenly, her thick energy came off of her suddenly and went over him, capturing him whole. Immediately freaking out, Nase immediately began forcing energy out of his feet and spinning around in a shock. "(Wh-what is this?)"As her ki surrounded him, he began floating in the air as he swung around, causing more distress, until he managed to channel his energy once again. Small bursts of energy came out of his palms and Nase began to spin quickly, speeding up until the molasses-like energy blew off of him. Terminating this spin after he regained control, he realized that he was facing the wrong way a bit too late. Turning around swiftly, Nase didn't realize he was being swung at until it was right ahead of him. "Eh?"Suddenly aware of the large fist coming towards his person, Nase formed an X with his arms to block the attack, but wasn't ready for the second part. As the attack connected right in front of his face, a heavy burst of pink launched him backwards and knocked his arms away from his face. "Woah!"Recoiling from this, Nase readied himself to retaliate, but Waka wasn't done yet. Not expecting a rushing knee crash the fighter was forced to block again, this time with even worse results. "GAH!!!"Now flying backwards through the air from the second pulse, Nase went limp for a moment before flipping backwards and landing on his feet and skidding backwards a small bit. For the two girls focusing on him now, it was obvious from his aura weakening that he was very unprepared for that attack. Raising his pained arms back, however, he still looked determined to fight back. At least he blocked! "Jeez, you weren't kidding. But now, I've got to try hard too, right?"Flexing his muscles hard, Nase's energy relit over him until it caused his hair to start flowing upwards, obviously not to the level of those glowing Saiyans or anything though. "Ahhh, let's see if I've gotten good enough to control this now."Doing his normal tell of twisting his arm all the way behind him, Nase launched himself at extreme speeds towards Wakana to the point that he was just flying to get to eye-level to his opponent. Now right in her face, Nase retightened his fist, forcing the middle knuckle forward as a method of adding a slight bit of extra damage. Now ready to fire, Nase just had time for a few seconds of dialogue before he reached impact. "Sorry about this."With a smirk, the glowing Nase swung his fist after the space just above Waka's chest, swinging now with a lot less power being restained now. Pushing himself off by his hand, and hopefully pushing her back as well, Nase landed on the ground and in a crouched position, pointed both palms at her and let the hatches in them open up quickly. Aiming up as to not risk hurting the audience, Nase allowed ki to well up into his hand, causing a light to shine on his tattoos again brighter than before. "Let's try this: Neutron Star!"One second after this, a bright flash was released from him as ki shot out at Waka from his right hand, streaking through the air to hit her dead on. While his ki was normally a bright green, this attack turned partially red as it fired. Though normally he wouldn't use an ability like this until much later, but if he was going to be able to win this fight, he'd have to think of something to do to try and beat her. He just hoped that he wouldn't have to resort to too many cheap tricks to win.

Waka’s initial retribution was a bit stilted – her attempt to mire Nase with her Majin ki was a complete failure thanks to the android’s quick reactions, and her initial palm strike was a total glancing blow. While his attempt at defence didn’t help against the ki blast that came with it, he recovered remarkably well and came out none the worse for wear. But, she needn’t start to worry about being taunted by Adelaide for a defeat just yet: her knee struck true, and the blast sent the boy flying. The fox didn’t bother charging in for more punishment, instead taking the moment to regain her stance and composure… and be a bit smug again. ”Not quite on the level of Li Shuwen, but not bad, huh? Your style might have more flow, but Bājí is made to hurt people; it’s not just an art. I ain’t gonn' get on TV for it, but I won’t show up the newsp'per, either.” bluffed the girl, as Nase regained his vigour – but she didn’t get any more time to gloat, as a blow to her sternum didn’t keep her in the mood to chat. It was a good hit, too, forcing Waka to shift her back leg to stay steady and breaking her stance. Narrowing her eyes, the fox looked merely annoyed as she prepared to punish the boy again, but he was already gone – She knew something was coming, and prepared herself in the brief time she had – but when she saw those tattoos light up, she couldn’t predict precisely what was heading her way. She expected a wide blast, but was met with a flash and a thin beam instead; though the impact was more like a cannonball! Lost in a blast of green light, the shot met its mark right in Waka’s neck, leaving the fox reeling… and not just due to the damage. In fact, the damage wasn’t immense, but the effects… the girl was left looking like a deer in the headlights for just a moment after the smoke cleared; a rather ridiculous sight given her usual demeanour. Of course, Adelaide greeted the flashy attack with a cheer – Waka had never shown off anything that compared to that! ”Y-You – what was that, punk?!” snapped the girl, seeming genuinely furious for just a second before regaining her stubborn composure – whatever he’d just thrown at her, it’d gone straight through her ki. It hadn’t hurt too much, but it definitely hurt; while her giant form ought to cushion such blows. Seriously… if he kept that up, then all her size would do is make her a bigger target! In her brief rage, her ki fluctuated again, and her Majin power grew unsteady; forcing Waka to pause and pull it back under her reins again. D-Dammit, she still couldn’t quite hold onto it… she’d have to notch down her power to keep it under wraps. Shaking her head and resigning herself to such trouble, she instead just tried to regain her focus; taking a deep breath and steadying her stance. ”Hon'stly… how rude. Aiming for a lady’s chest…” she grumbled, pouting ever so slightly, before opening her palms and changing her stance to a lunging form. Pink ki flickered around her hands as she moved, twinkling like glitter rather than sparking like fire or crackling like electricity… but, by now, Nase ought to know that such a strange form didn’t make Waka’s ki any less dangerous. Well, aside from how her power level just plummeted, b-but… With her energy back under control, though, Waka was feeling anything but merciful – time to follow through on her threats. ”You wanna show off, huh? You can be flashy, but let me show you someth'ng truly scary…!” With a stomping stride that seemed to barely leave the ground, the fox closed the distance with the iconic Bājí approach; rotating her hips and whipping around an arm in an attempt to grapple the comparatively tiny android – she hardly needed a bear hug or a tackle at this size! Pink ki now sparked from her hands, eager to curl around her target and squeeze out any energy it could. However, even with so much preparation, the fox was still a 14-foot target… Nase could slip out of her way yet. "Your technique... how good are you at manipulating ki?"Taking a few quick steps forward, Nase continued rushing her as his opponent stood still speaking to him haughtily. The strike proceeding this though did knocker her off balance, though, and his fast landing was apparently necessary, seeing as he just avoided being meted out some revenge from the giant swinging above him. Taking this time to charge his attack, Nase quickly let out his attack and realized a bit late that his hand was aimed at her neck. Ow. As it hit her, Nase noticed the usual stunning affect affected her, but luckily, none of the piercing that it normally did. It did leave a funny face on his opponent, though, and apparently Adelaide thought so as well. Waka, on the other hand, did not find it as humorous. There was a point for a moment where Waka seemed very peeved about it too before she recomposed herself. During this, her energy seemed to flare up for a second before she seemed to draw it back in. Was she having problems controlling it? He remembered that Waka didn't like talking about her past, so he knew that she wouldn't give him a straight answer, but he guessed that he would just find out if it ever became that important. "H-hey! I didn't mean to aim there like that!"Nase broke form for a second before seeing that Waka took advantage of this drop of his guard. With a sparkle of pink, the giant figure swung with both arms after him in a wide arc, but luckily, it seems she swung before she reached him because though he leaned all the way backwards, her arms still would have come short. Rolling away, Nase put his hands up again to get ready as he noticed the energy around Waka had finished sparking and went back to its normal slow-moving state. Nase noticed that the energy seemed slightly weaker than last time. "(Did I do that? Maybe the attack is stronger than I thought.)"Looking up at Wakana, Nase readied his fist again and lowered his stance. "I know that you were just trying to use a special move on me, but I can't wait for you to try again, unfortunately."Rushing in to capitalize on the miss, Nase jumped up at his opponent, swinging at her as he landed, aiming for her legs in the process. Before she could do anything after this, however, Nase's ki aura flared and he appeared behind Waka as quickly as possible without flying. Raising one of his legs up and moving his arms up and out of the way, Nase prepared to strike. "Hyah!"And with that, he quickly shot out a violent front kick and positioned it so it would land right on the square of her back. This one had a lot more power put in it and he really hoped that this one hit.

It was… a comical whiff. Waka had been so sure of herself, but totally failed to land the move she’d been talking up so much. For a moment, the fox’s stoic demeanour once again faltered as she clearly realised she was way out of range far too late; left to paw at the air while her target just watched. Thankfully, he was too on-guard to immediately exploit her complete miss, but… s-she’d just have to hope he was polite enough not to mock her for it too. And, indeed, he was polite enough to move on quickly – she’d just scoff at his comment. ”Hrm, I’ll have pl'nty of time yet – you haven’t even –!“ she began to boast, but promptly regretted it as Nase tried to knock out one of her legs; before slipped around her and smashing the arch of her back. Both were solid hits, and she certainly felt her back coil a little as Nase showed off his strength… but, as easy as it was to hit the giantess, it was just as hard to hurt her. Steadying her stance with her fists by her sides, the fox just stood tall and took the blows, barely shifting… though, her opponent would be able to tell her ki was in action – she wasn’t just that sturdy, she was using her power to cheat. ”So, this is the pow'r you were hid'ng last time… it’s impr'ssive. But, you still can’t scratch me with anyth'ng but your laser. Guess I’d bett'r end this for you instead…”However, that might not give him much solace as the lady turned around on him; her thick tail flicking by him as she whirled with surprising dexterity for her size. Her arm were once more sparking with ki, and her hand came for him; no doubt to drink deep of his ki – for real, this time! M-Maybe. Hopefully. Eyes narrowed, she seemed much more fierce with her mouth shut than when she was showboating… though at least this approach wouldn’t leave Nase’s cheeks burning. …well, probably not, anyway. Realizing her attack had failed, Waka attempted to save face by trying to talk big again, but unfortunately for her, Nase didn't end up giving her enough time to as he already was mid-attack. Getting two good hits against Waka, Nase stopped for a bit too long as he noticed that Waka seemed to resist the damage after a while. Confused, he focused more intently and saw she was slowly glowing in the places he hit. She was... regenerating? That means he hadn't done nearly as much damage as he thought he had! "(Has she even really felt any of those hits?)"As he asked himself this, she answered him as if she could hear him. Maybe this was another ability, or just a trick done by her? Hah, this was confusing. Either way, Nase now had realized that his Neutron Star was the only thing that could actually hurt her so far, and knew that he would have to abuse this knowledge if he was going to last much longer. At least she moved slow enough for him to recover after his atta- "Huh?"Within one movement, Waka's giant form turned around and was over him before Nase was ready. Crap, that was fast! Could she always do this?! Thinking he would he have to worry about the tail that came dangerously close to him, it seemed to be a fake-out as the crackling energy of Waka's technique went over him before he could fight it. Feeling the sparking energy go over him again, this time, Nase found out what 'something truly scary' felt like. Other than the strange feeling and searing pain mixing together, a green glow began to appear over Nase against his will. It was his energy being pulled out from him and Nase didn't even feel the ability to suppress it anymore, which was extremely shocking for the android who was used to only having a ki signature during intense strain. Suddenly, the green ki surrounding Nase came off of him as he fell back onto the ground, still in pain. The stolen ki then coalesced into Waka's had and transformed into a lime-coloured sweet almost instantly. As Nase looked up with awe, he watched as the candy continued to sparkle in her hands and as what used to be his energy turned into an extremely sweet and malty flavour that wasn't too close to his regular demeanour, it did reflect something else about him. Not waiting to see if she immediately ate it or not, he rolled away and made sure that was on his feet in case she went for another attack, but strangely none came. Trying to force out of his power, it took him a couple of seconds before his ki returned to normal, but he still felt a slight weakness to him. Just some technique? Her powers were borderline impossible! Letting his absorption devices open up and a slow draining effect came out from the ground, allowing his energy to reform. Realizing that he had to make some moves or he wouldn't even have a chance to fight her. "Gah... What on earth..."Nase, fighting to match his original strength, boosted into the sky with so much energy that even his eyes began to glow a bright green. When his tattoo would light up, it would usually just be the part that wrapped around his wrist that glowed as the energy inside his hand merged together, but when Nase removed his flexed arms from his sides and pointed his palms at Waka once again, all but the head of the dragon tattooed all along his arm was glowing now. "You're going to have to explain that after this."Waiting no more than a second, Nase had charged enough energy to do this attack. Making sure that only Waka was hit and not anyone behind her, Nase's eyes zipped around different spots on Waka that he could aim for and readied himself to fire, doing a very iconic pose with his hands. Smirking, he let his attack rip with enough force to launch him back. "Heh, DOUBLE SHOOTING STARS"The coming explosion of light escaping from his arms wasn't the normal straight laser that Nase shot from his fingers last time, but this time there were to large expanses of beams that curved and arced around before flying towards Waka's general direction. The lasers sped up more and more until they all were only inches away from her face, arms and torso. If she thought that the original 'Star' had hurt before, this would be devastating. That is... if it hits, that is.

Nase certainly didn’t have any fun in Waka’s grasp – maybe it was a sense of petty revenge, maybe it was sheer greed, maybe she wanted to show off, or maybe she truly wanted a taste of him that much – but regardless, she was even more rough than usual. Not that the android would know any better right now! Tossed aside like a toy after being drained, Waka’s attention was immediately on her prize… a swirled sapodilla sticky bun, drizzled in rich maple syrup, and sat upon a short mint chocolate brownie that displayed its stripe of green flavour so proudly. An outrageously decadent snack… but, with just one gulp, it vanished. ”…it’s good!” announced the huge girl, in spite of the ongoing battle – no, she had much higher priorities than that on her mind. ”The sugary dough, the malt and cinnamon filling, and the cream and butter topping – the bun is sensational. It all comes together around the sapodilla flavour, turning what should be a savoury or even salty bun into a crown jewel of sweets! It’s wondrous! The mint of the brownie brings a refreshing spice to it all in turn, giving it a satisfying aftertaste and a range of flavour and texture; while the rich chocolate rounds out the other tastes and offers just the right amount of roughage to turn it into a fully-fledged dessert. It’s a treat for a king… no, that mint bite; it’s a treat for a mischievous prince…”Alas, Waka was too lost in her review to really take stock her situation – she had no regrets, though she would have liked to finish her next line. Turning to her foe, Waka’s eyes narrowed, albeit once again with a lot more danger to them… that hungry gaze was more threatening than anything she could do with that thuggish demeanour she often wore. ”I think… I shall have sec-!“ she began – but, well, while she was in Giant Form, Nase needn’t worry about missing. Met with a plethora of green fireworks as soon as she regained her focus, her taunt was aptly cut off by the onslaught; and even her giant size vanished behind the web of beams. “S-So cool! Wow! C’mon, Waka, how come you don’t have lasers?! They’d look great in pink!” cheered Adelaide, while her supposed friend grunted in pain – the fox was left reeling on all fours after the siege. Her Giant Form was still working, but clearly Nase’s attacks were cutting straight through her defences. Its chances of dealing singed wounds were thankfully stopped by her ki reinforcement, but that was little solace – her padded armour, her sheer endurance, and her added size weren’t doing a thing to help her here. No, in fact, right now, she was just making herself a big target… But – there wasn’t much she could do about it! She’d just have to go on the offensive and hope for the best instead. Her treat ought to have boosted her morale, but that battering made it sink immediately afterwards. If Nase had any doubts that Waka had felt any hits so far, he could be sure she felt that one! Even her snacking and Majin regeneration would have trouble making up for it… it might turn into a test of endurance. And one Waka might not have an advantage in, as Nase was far more deft than she was. For now, though, Waka was lost in frustration; her meditation slipping away. As if on its own accord, her ki drooled from her grip and tried to swallow up Nase again; as if just as greedy as Waka was – and if that wasn’t enough, that explosive martial art was coming for his neck again too. Now, it was far less cautious and precise. Instead of lashing out with powerful strikes, she was simply letting loose with her full size behind her attacks. First with a low (for her current size, anyway!) shoulder rush, and then a familiar elbow drop; albeit with her ridiculous weight behind it this time. However, now that she’d lost her cool, her tells were even more obvious… her size was really coming to bite her in this fight, in spite of all her pride. It seems that Nase had interrupted Waka's food review with his super attacks, but it was far too late for him to hold it back until she had finished talking. The streaks of light that left his hands easily met their marks against Waka, piercing into her aura which could be seen from her flinching face as she tried to resist the damage. Though Nase paused as his barrage of laser struck her in the body and arms, Adelaide cheered him on once again for his flashy attack against the giantess. Jeez, she really made it obvious that she was on his side with all of the praise she gave him. Looking at the now floored foxwoman ahead of him, he noticed that his attack, though strong had left her with still enough energy to maintain her giant form. That, or he wasn't affecting it at all. Waka still seemed to be struggling due to the damage dealt though, which caused Nase to have to remind himself that it was okay to hit her because it was just a spar. Dang feelings getting in the way! "Sorry about the cutoff, I didn't realize you still were enjoying the snack... whatever that was."Seeing as Waka was still getting up, Nase saw that he was running out of time to rest as his fighting style was very momentum-based and he shouldn't be wasting time like this. Getting into position to run at her again, Nase noticed that Waka's energy had gotten more... erratic. The titan's face somewhat gave this away along with her stance, meaning that she was soon to try something on him if he wasn't careful. And careful he wasn't. Closing the distance between him and her again, the dark Tuffle dove forward into a handstand that he used to spring up and over Waka's Giant Form and if it weren't for his enhanced strength, he wouldn't have made it at all. Now in an aerial position behind her, Nase thought this would be the perfect space for a deceptive sneak attack, but per usual with strong opponents, he didn't fully realize what he was getting into. It became suddenly apparent to Nase that while he was doing his exciting acrobat trick, his opponent's ki had latched to his body and began to slow him down. Feeling a familiar, yet worrying feeling, Nase realized that this energy must have been what that strange technique she had attempted to use on him was. Now realizing he was soon to be swung at, Nase made his move, despite the strangling energy around him seemingly trying to snuff out his energy like before with the candy. Rapid firing weak ki blasts at Waka's body, Nase only had a couple of seconds before Waka's shadow loomed over him and her arm went for his neck. Leaning back to the point that he had to roll backwards, Nase avoided this attack barely and looked up to see another soon incoming. Immediately dashing back again, he found himself right next to the young kid as the eruptive crash Waka had let loose was barely avoided by him. Giving a quick thumbs-up to Adelaide, Nase boosted in the air towards Waka again, hoping he could get some hits in before she tried something like that again. But the viscous energy that was holding him back was sure to cause some problems there.

Post by Wakana Waka on Sept 18, 2020 23:33:19 GMT -8
Nase’s apology didn’t seem to help cool Waka’s temper very much – but what did was ending up toppling face-first into the ground thanks to her wild attacks. With no target to pivot her energy from, it was just about inevitable that the giantess would fall; with an impressive but not dreadful thud. And, for both better and worse, her ki cooled as she resigned herself to the embarrassment, just lying on the ground as Nase darted around her with such ease. The peppering of ki blasts barely scratched her, but it was hard to scoff at when she couldn’t return the favour! Still, at least this attack wasn’t piercing straight through her ki reinforcement… which meant in the meantime, Waka’s Majin powers could recoup her true endurance. Especially after that delightful snack… Hauling herself back up to her full height, Waka regained her usual gruff composure. ”You’ve knocked me about a fair bit. That ki blast you’re cheating with… it’s a real pain. But, you’ve got a long, long way to go. I’m not even aching yet…” rumbled the girl – and, to her credit, she wasn’t bluffing. So long as she had time to recuperate between such barrages, she’d be able to hang in there; and her ki reinforcement could afford her that sort of time until Nase blew through the rest of it. She could see her pink ki sparkling around him, too… he’d either have to hold back, or go all in. And, could he afford either…? Calming herself once more, Waka dragged her ki back in, and moulded it to her will again. A deep breath, a steady stance; but she stretched her arms like she was grappling with such force… before truly finding that serenity she’d had before. And with it, she drained her ki just a little, to buffer her Majin regeneration – that way she wouldn’t have to gamble on another snack. ”You’re quick, puppy. But… you don’t have many options, do you? You should learn some more techn’ques, or r’fine what you have…” mused the fox, blissfully unaware that Nase did still have more tricks up his sleeve – whereas Waka hadn’t many moves left herself! ”Until then, though – I’ll show you as much of my Bājí as you want.”And, she was upon him once more – more disciplined this time, but her size and taunting belied her moves as usual. For all its menace, her Giant Form was something of a liability against someone as dextrous as Nase. At her size, even the iconic stomping movements of Bājíquan were dangerous; particularly as the one that closed their distance came with pulse of igniting ki that threw turf and soil up. Her second move was less subtle, but at least she was wise enough to start aiming low now; following with a surprisingly low kick with her other foot that similarly shattered the ground with its subsequent ki blast. She certainly seemed to have regained her focus, but… she hadn’t put any more preparation into catching Nase, so she might as well be chasing a rabbit.
