Actually going through the finish line this time instead of almost crashing was a great change of pace, but Nase's celebration was cut off by everyone except for the dark-haired girl staring at him intently, two of which he could swear were trying to glean some sort of estimate for his ki from it. Realizing he had become the center of attention because of this, he instantly suppressed again to zero (possibly adding more confusion) and lowered his head due to reservedness. He wasn't sure how much power he had inadvertently released, but he took solace in the fact that it couldn't have been higher than 600. Wait, no actually. 600's a lot!
Mentally beating himself up, Nase hoped they wouldn't mention it much.
"Uh... yeah. Sorry about that. Guess I got too carried away while driving, huh? At least the hovercycle works right."
"This is... WONDERFUL! We had planned on making powerful and fast vehicles, but we never planned for ki-based powers adding to it."
Shocked, not only by the man's volume (as that had become normal to him now), but also because he was talking about ki so easily. He hadn't met anyone who just talks about power that calmly except for that tea shop owner he met before, and Clove's power level was terrifying. If this man was anything similar, Nase would begin freaking out. What on earth could this mad scientist be hiding?
"You... you know about ki control?"
"Of course I do! Though I may not be able to do so myself, I have met those with experience using ki myself. I assume all of you know how to use ki as well as this gentleman?"
Nase looked away again as it was brought up, soon looking back, however, as the scientist addressed him.
"Well, since you already displayed your ability to produce a strong aura and you are using a manipulable motorcycle like your own, would you be willing to attempt using your ability again to try and boost yourself?"
That... sure was an idea, alright. It sounded like it could work, but he had never tried anything like that before, worse off with a hover vehicle. Then again, it did sound interesting to try. Maybe Engin was rubbing off on him, but could be worth the risk...
"You guys alright with me doing that? That does sound kind of a lot like cheating in a race."
Quick to pipe up, Dr. Engin patted (read: slapped) Nase on the back making him flinch hard.
"Bah! It's all in the name of scientist, so it should be alright."
"Eh... fine."
Leaning into his floating vehicle again, the male Tuffle revved his bike again before preparing himself for the final lap.
"Welp, let's go then!"
Channelling his energy again, Nase prepared an aura around himself and gripped hard against the handlebars. 100... 200... He kept going until his visible power level reached 700 kili, though it might be difficult to get that exact since both of the secret agents here had forgone optical scanners and Nase's cyborg nature already made finding his true power output difficult in itself. Energy gauges aside, Nase readied himself to go and waited until Dr Engin called it.
"Now is the final lap everyone, get ready in 3, 2, 1... GO!"

Boosting ahead, Nase's aura surrounded him as it flowed like fire, allowing him to move faster and faster than normal. Dashing through the curves and bends of the track, Nase was having fun going this fast again, but he still was having some issues with controlling it. The downside to using spiritual energy to enhance your speed and efficiency (other than the obvious running out) is the fact that if something is already capable of moving extremely fast... and then you double that, it can become hard to control. Especially when you are expected to control it sideways.
"Woahhhhh!"
Spinning out in the last part of the race, Nase ended the race in a green tornado of power, ending it with his power dissipating around him as he slowly came to a stop. Though that might have given others time to pass him, Nase still felt proud of his attempt at the race. Letting himself lean and slow down as he skid (can you call it skidding if you're a foot of the ground?) and put a foot down as he got off.
"Phew."
Taking a quick step forward out of the way, Nase dragged the bike out of the way of the track, letting anyone behind him pass and turning to Engin as he did so. Putting an arm behind his back he raised the other into a quick thumbs up, one that the mad doctor returned two-fold and spoke with his megaphone-esque voice again, congratulating Nase on his experiment and readying to congratulate the winner.
"That testing was incredible! You truly do have the makings of a scientist in you, though you haven't introduced yourself as such."
"Me? I'm a martial artist from the North. I don't think you could call anything I do really scientific."
"Ah, but the drive to test things and understand things that you all have shown still provides the same drive of a true master of science!"
Dramatically speaking and posing as if for a camera, Engin waited a moment before calming down and speaking relatively quieter.
"Well, it seems your race has started to reach it's ending now, so let us at until all have reached the end."
