'
Personality:
Despite his large frame and horn-appendages, Renaru is often the last one to incite violence or use it as a voice of reason. Though that doesn’t mean he doesn’t see violence as a voice of justice, as he does incite violence to those that show ill harm to generally anyone. He isn’t one to turn down a task when asked and often does chores for others out of simple kindness. He is often the person people rely on.
The Demon half blood spends a lot of his time thinking, judging, and assessing information. Renaru is always conscious of many things because of it, and has a great memory as a result of looking back on details. He’s always aware of staying on time, following rules, staying focused, and being aware of other’s feelings.
Renaru likes to make sure dealings are fair and spends a lot of his time making sure everything works out for everyone. He is often the negotiator of many discussions, and makes sure everyone is given a good light. Assuming they have one.
Assertive but warm, the wastelander is straightforward but means nothing but good will. He has a certain charisma and natural attitude that gives off an acceptance that helps people when they things get tough. He gives off hope to others and stays a reliable and loyal teammate to those he trusts.
The word of someone is more than just a wish or an attempt in Renaru’s eyes. If he says he will do something, or is told they will do something, he expects it to be done unless it's out of their hands. Due to his conscious thinking, he is often thinking about his promises and working towards them and his goals.
History:
Renaru was born as the male twin to his sister counterpart, they both originally began growing up in the city by a single father who was a beast-man. Renaru spent his earliest days watching tv and superheroes. Often playing as a hero with his sister in their house before having to go to sleep.
The older Renaru and his sister got though, the more difficult it was to keep them a secret. As they looked more demon than their parents originally had though, the whole point of them staying with their father began to dwindle. By the age of 6, Renaru and his sister moved with their mother to the demon wastelands. Which wasn’t necessarily the best place for them to be but the only place they could be allowed. Since fear of them being hunted back in the city had been growing.
The Demon-Beast boy had a hard time making friends at first due to his human-likeness personality. He didn’t find it fun to kill or beat up things, to cause havoc and mischief to people. Making him often alone and in his thoughts, he’d mentally mature because of it and often spent his time helping others instead.
Helping the local elder demons eventually got him a reputation and one even offered to teach him how to fight. Of course, Renaru had been jumped by a group of kids trying to mess with his sister prior. So the elder knew of his troubles and Renaru accepted the offer.
Now, he’s been spending his days working on himself and his village. Though he wonders if theres something greater out there for him. Something greater worth protecting. He hopes to one day find it.

The Demon Badlands.
The bright yellow sun sat on the horizon while the sky was a tinted orange scarlet as a black moving figure made its way across the desert, details not within reach to be seen.
“They’re back, they’re back!” The sound of a little girl cheering came from atop a mountain cliff, one of the many that called The Demon Lands home. Her features were of violet and crimson accent and her back held wings that would carry the girl like she had weighed nothing onto the adjacent Demon’s shoulders. Like a much larger fairy.
“Do you see them, Remy? They’re back!”
“I know.” The tall mars-colored man laid his eyes upon the horizon, watching as the black figures made their way across his line of sight before looking down at the desert that laid in between them. It had been getting late, later than Renaru thought it had been. With the girl on his shoulder and a skinny log on his back that carried buckets of water, he’d turn around from the horizon before heading back to his village. Hoping they weren’t the target of the hunter’s evening venture.
“Do you think Elias is okay?” The girl would ask as she flew above and in front of the walking protector being used as a choreman.
“I-...I don’t know.” He couldn’t help but get a saddened look on his face. His nephew and others had been causing disturbance out of the village, causing Demon Hunters to target the badlands. As a result, the village chief and his authoritative council took them out to be dealt with. Though they had arrived back quite soon, he wasn’t ever expecting to see his nephew again but perhaps he would.
“Renaru...Is something wrong?” His Niece would ask, her flight bringing her closer to the face of the tall man before returning to the backward pace.
“No, Elisa. I am just thinking…”
The Village.
Due to the plain desert like wasteland, it was clear to see the group had arrived at their village long before he and the girl made it there. By the time they had arrived, a massive mob had been made in the middle of the territory by a great bonfire. Many demon villagers whispered and snickered as they watched the group of tribe heads rally the few Demons that had been known to cause trouble out of the village. One of them being Elias.
Though before that had to be dealt with, Renaru couldn’t bare having Elisa see her brother’s final moments so he’d quickly drop her off at her mother’s place before heading back out and returning the needed buckets of water. He’d hear a sudden shock in the crowd, giving him a shriek of anxiety before running through and breaking his way into the front row. Revealing inbetween demon’s shoulders and heads to be the sight of Elias sitting on the floor right outside of the fire.
“This has never needed to be done in the village, what makes this different?” Renaru couldn’t help but ask.
“Threats lurk upon the territory in which this is usually held so it shall be done here and done no different!”
A fist curled up into Renaru’s right fist. Though he knew if he did anything it would be against everything he had stood for, justice had to be served. Renaru knew what his nephew had done but he was only a kid, grouped into a group of Demons that had taken him down with them.
“Elias is only a child! You think he caused any real harm compared to what these mongrels have done? He is hardly able to manipulate ki!”
“SILENCE! We know Elias is your nephew, Renaru. These are all children of someone who knows there's more than meets the eye. But Actions speak louder than words, my boy, and your nephew has committed actions no less than the others.” The Tribe elder spoke. There was nothing left to be said. Renaru’s shoulders would lower before his eyes would meet with his nephew’s one last time. After a moment, he’d turn around and almost begin to leave the crowd.
Renaru didn’t know how he’d break the news to Elisa, IF he had to be the one. Though knowing his sister, it would most likely be the case. He didn’t even know if he, himself, understood why it had to be done. The thoughts of having to break the news just made it even harder to not keep trying. He couldn’t stand the thought of his niece not being able to see her brother ever again.
Turning back once more, Renaru was ignoring the odds.
“You’re killing a child because you’re scared of the Demon Hunters.”
“SILENCE, Renaru! Your reputation hasn’t been built just to be squash-” It had seemed that Renaru’s last line had spiked an interest for the group of Demon Villagers.
“S-Shush! All of you!” The Demon Tribe head would try to say over the growing bickering crowd.
“We’re killing them to protect you all!"
“You’re killing them to protect yourselves!” Renaru would say before the crowd eventually began moving in and the tribe leaders began being pushed back.
The Demon-Beast had seemingly saved his nephew from execution but at what cost? The village seemed to have gone into a more demonic and chaotic state. The side of the demon that Renaru often tried his best to avoid completely.
