As Achido listened to his friends speak of the Tuffles and Saiyans, the excitement for training quickly began to fade because he was now more curious than anything. There was a lot to take in and it was terrifying to believe there was some kind of war from it all. "Wait, a war?! Where, when, and why? This is a little crazy to me. Everyone I have met has been really nice for the most part, even Nase. I may just be a bit confused." He stated, while switching his attention to Cayle as he spoke.
Achido smiled and returned the nod to the Saiyan. "Besides my Parents, you three are the ones I truly care about. Even though you all are stronger than me, I can do my best to change that. Each of you have already taught me something. Ty has really opened my eyes to the world, but she has also taught me how to let loose and be myself. Konja has brought out my strength in ways I never thought I could. And Cayle, you have inspired me to continue training. Not only for myself, but for everyone around me." He replied, realizing that he had gone on too long about the whole thing, only to turn and rub the back of his head nervously with a grin forming.
Just a few moments later Cayle seemed different but only for a bit, as if something was bothering him deeply. Achi looked at him worried for a second, before taking a good look at the picture that Cayle was showing to the group. Achido began to tilt his head slightly, looking up at Cayle, then back down to the picture, and smiled lightly. "Is it me, or does this person look like an evil version of Cayle?" He asked, before returning to his normal posture with each hand on his hips in a deep thought for the time being.
After the group finished examining the picture Cayle showed them, Achi looked back to Konja and Tiger Lily before speaking. "Either of you know anything about this Doctor?" Achi asked before putting his attention back on Cayle. "Why is this doctor so dangerous? Give us the rundown on what you know." Achido was now curious of this being and what they were capable of. He may not have been very strong but the human was always happy to hear tales of others who were.

“Eh? The tango is a dance performed by two people.” Tiger Lily answered Konja briefly then averted her gaze towards Cayle who took a drawing from Nalta. “Woah! You’re quite the artist Nalta!”
Achido made a comment that Dr. Aspic looked like Cayle, well apart from being off planet, they did not look different from humans so it was going to be difficult to tell them apart aside from their smell. Konja explained that since there were so many bunkers on earth, remnants of Tuffle experimentation, there was a possibility that this strange doctor was among them.
“Another war?!” The teenage redhead started to panic but the earth had been at peace after King Piccolo’s reign who was still being held back by the Pig Demon Duchies and the Northerland Kingdoms. “There are so many threats we are faced with, like pirates, poachers, and evil namekians. Not to mention that odd temple that popped up from one of King Piccolo’s minions that trapped Achido. We are going to need a lot more than just a few saiyan refugees.”
It was a lot more than they could handle, just with numbers alone, and then she figured they needed to get more help from other people.
“I think we should ask our friends to help and get them to all train with us.”

"I see! So that is what tango means!" Konja struck her palm with the bottom of her fist. Now it all made sense. A dance for two, and hence needing at least two. Nobody actually danced in those films she saw. But that element of being for two now fit perfectly with all the figurative ways it was used. So that was a tango... "Maybe we should try it out sometime," she playfully nudged Achi with her elbow. On the matter of befriending Tuffles, perhaps Konja was being too harsh. Given her personal experiences, though, and lack of actual friendships with Tuffles before the war, those experiences were coloured with complete antipathy from their end. It was no surprise that she thought of matters in such black and white ways, with a simple mind and seven years of experience to back it up. It had never occurred to her that maybe, out of the many millions of Tuffles out there, not all of them were cruel soldiers or sadistic surgeons with a taste for cutting open raw Saiyan flesh for their twisted scientific pleasures. Maybe, some of those stories were of true friendships, rather than deception. There were many doctors whose scalpels had had their way with Konja. Most didn't even bother to give her their names. Possibly because she always made herself such a nuisance at every opportunity. Six full blown riots, and over a dozen guards injured by her own hand, with maybe a few dead. Looking back, that wasn't bad for someone who was restrained by a ki suppression collar. But Cayle took Nalta's picture of a seemingly mundane if somewhat crazed scientist and gave him a name: Dr. Aspic. "So Aspic-03..." she muttered to herself, "Was named after him. He must be very important then." She never really knew what was done at that facility. She spent her waking captivity somewhere else, before they put her on ice and shipped her off to Aspic-03. They spent some time wandering there as they tried to escape. There were more than just storage pods. There were labs too. Then it stood to reason that it wasn't just some disposal facility as Weetsop had claimed. Not surprising, that the enemy would continue to lie to get into her head. Well, it was true that she would be kept in stasis. But a facility with such extensive laboratories was surely not just a disposal place. Even in the end, Weetsop had gotten under her skin. Their two earthborne friends panicked at the mention of war. Achido asked for specifics. And while Cayle no doubt could give the finer details, she would start with a simple one from memory. "It was an ancient war, from hundreds of years ago. On our common homeworld, Planet Plant." Never mind the oral traditions stating that Saiyans were merely immigrants to Plant from Sadala. That would overcomplicate the story. "We Saiyans with our might, against the Tuffles and their science. I never really knew what it was about. For me, it was simply an opportunity to prove my Clan's honour to the others, so that we could stand out as renowned warriors. I was captured after a year of fighting, and I don't really know how it ended... if it ever did."Surely a war couldn't last for hundreds of years. There would not be enough Tuffles to replace all the losses they were inflicting! Even Weetsop conceded that they would lose. That they were dedicated to merely surviving. If hiding under the earth was their idea of surviving, it was a very poor one. Konja would rather die in battle than be forced to eke out such a dreary existence. What else could be said, though, on the subject? Beware Dr. Aspic, and train up in preparation for the battles to come. Especially with Cayle's newly minted fighting style. Achido was right in that way. To fight for the ones you cared for. Yes, there was more to battle than honour... and under these circumstances, the former was a safer bet. Konja stared closely at Nalta's veritable work of art. Especially after Achido said he looked like an evil version of Cayle. The eyes were different, but you couldn't say for sure, given how well he was drawn. She could deny that, but now se wasn't sure. This simple farm girl wasn't very good at differentiating faces. He might have looked older, so... "If that is the impression it gives, then we should definitely be careful. Cayle's intelligence is his greatest weapon. What more this Tuffle with a... sort of... resemblance?" It wasn't even a joke. While she could not say there was a 100% correspondence, big brains was something they both had in common, even moreso the Doctor's Tuffle nature. "All I know is that he is important enough to have at least three bunker complexes named after him." That surely must have made him someone of importance and authority within the TSE. A senior scientist, perhaps? If Cayle saw him as the greatest Tuffle threat they could encounter, it must have been more than that. Maybe he was even the top scientist in the TSE... "So he must have overseen many experiments..."[870/5223] Cayle Pota Ty Achido

Cayle was patient with Achido's questions – he had yet to explain the fullness of he and the other former experimented Saiyans' situation and history to the Earthling, and there would be no reason to get mad about the carpet bombing of questions. Instead, the icy blue eyed Saiyan simply kept his calm and looked at his friend until Achido's string of questions were done and the others had been able to pipe in too.
“Simply put, the war we are talking about is a very cold one – you could call it half-frozen even. It began centuries ago back on Planet Plant – Also called Planet Vegeta – our home planet – , and that's when it first came into contact with me, Konja, and the other Pickles. Most of us were taken during the opening salvos of a long war that went on with the Tuffles and the Saiyans, and they experimented on us, put us into cryostasis, did a long of things. As to why, Achido? Because even before Planet Vegeta, Saiyans had another home planet – Sadala. We were forced to flee it and settle upon Planet Vegeta, where we got along with the Tuffles but were forced to live in the lands they found unsuitable for their own settlements; and to struggle to get by. As time went on, populations swelled and their technological edges did as well – and they suddenly wanted more of the land they had given to the Saiyans, where as the various Saiyan tribes wanted more living space – themselves. War broke out and the Tuffle government's elites, the Tuffle Science Executive, organized a shadow war machine and began abducting Saiyans – mostly those by themselves, or children, or elderly, or homemakers – and began to use them as guinea pigs to help give the Tuffles any and every benefit they could have in the war. Based on what I've heard from non-Pickle Saiyans, the Tuffles eventually lost thanks to the twin moons both going full moon at the same time – and Vegeta the Conqueror leading the associated Saiyan forces against the Tuffles. The Tuffles didn't die though, simply fleeing Planet Plant and setting up colonies elsewhere, and continuing this long war.”
He stopped talking after that, having basically dropped a chapter of a text book on Tiger Lily and Achido, before tensing slightly. “They're still after those of us who have escaped, technically – and part of why he looks like me – not sure. But Doctor Aspic is the capital E executive within the Tuffle Science Executive, those who lead the ISLET forces. He's a mad scientist proficient in multiple fields; and he's immensely willful, and malicious. Dr. Aspic is the Tuffle who specifically forced me through multiple tests – and why I can read their language, he wanted to see how 'high' he could push a Saiyan's intelligence simply by training; I think.”[/color] The fact that the majority of Cayle's intelligence was in-built and not trained, was something that Cayle didn't bother to say; it was largely obvious to most he was sure.

After Tiger Lily explained the meaning of the reference, Konja seemed rather excited to try it out with Achi, which caused the teen to grin like a horned up boy. "I know the perfect spot to practice, Konja!" He replied after feeling the playful nudge from the saiyan woman. He couldn’t help but to laugh lightly for a moment. Everything was fine until the stories of this Dr. Aspic came up, which caused chills to come across Achi’s arms.
When Cayle explained everything to them, the teenager looked stunned, surprised, and scared. This was not normal to him and it seemed as if the situation was at a whole new level, causing Achi to turn a bit pale in the face. "T-this is not good, though. I need to get stronger, like right now. Ty is right, we should train and I don’t care how intense it is, I need to at least catch up somehow!" He was not panicking and unsure what to do, or if he was capable of doing anything to help at all.
The teenager took a few steps back from the group and began to think to himself. Fear had ultimately taken over Achi and he was trying to figure out a way to get stronger, but his mind was blank because of the emotions overflowing him at the moment. He looked over his shoulder with concern of not only his own life, but his friends as well. "What else can we do? We cannot stand around here doing nothing.." He almost sounded defeated and his confidence was now at an all time low.

To her surprise it seemed Achido knew how to dance after all, she was a bit envious since she was not as coordinated despite learning martial arts from the best, listening to the sound of music to gauge your steps required accuracy especially on the rhythm.
The conversation took a dark turn in a historic planetary war that took place farther than the reaches of their solar system, a cold sweat formed on her temple as she reflected for a while. Both Konja and Cayle had endured so much, unable to fight back after being held captive, and even her father Koba along with his twin Cha Cha was among them as innocent children enduring the same brutal trials. All the saiyans who suffered under the tuffles were stripped of their humanity, leaving them with only their name and heritage, it was difficult for Tiger Lily to fathom as she was spared of the torture, and as an extra precaution her tail was removed at birth so that she appeared human.
The mention of Vegeta reminded her of the Kakarot movies she recently watched, wondering if there was any truth in the script writing, and before she could bring it up it seemed the next best step was to train and gather reinforcements. Deep down preparing for something unknown was terrifying, the shadow anomaly had shown them different realities, when she was faced with an alternate version of herself who would never smile again, and that was unacceptable.
In order to protect the happiness of her friends and family she had to overcome her fears.
“We’re gonna learn how to dance!” Tiger Lily finally added, “It’s fine that we all know how to fight independently but if we learn to sync up, we can protect and rely on each other, and discover each other's strengths and weaknesses to form the best team!”
