"Anmitsu?" The excited wolf stopped for a moment, carefully considering the idea, "That would be an interesting choice, yes," He nodded to the idea. Seasonal fruit would pair well with the dessert which, if he recalled was made with agar cubes - similar in composition and texture to jello - and fruit and whatever else one wanted to add to it, including scoops of ice cream of their choice. The one time that he had attempted to try the sweet dessert, it had been paired with a homemade pomegranate ice cream which had left him somewhat startled at its depth of flavor.
He peered over at the tea princess, thinking of various fruits that he had eaten during his long life; he had eaten many, including some of the ones that she favored such as cherries, pomegranates, and apricots. "Hm, I've tried quite a few types of fruit in my lifetime. I enjoy pomegranates quite a lot. And as for cherries, I guess it depends on what type of cherry we're discussing. There are different types; for example, Bing Cherries. They are sweet with a touch of acidity which makes them also faintly tart. They're very good for desserts. On the other hand there's Maraschino Cherries. They're best as a garnish; they're made from sour cherries, originally they were preserved in a liqueur made from similar cherries, but now they're made by preserving them in a syrup which makes them almost abundantly sweet, too sweet for desserts unless it's a topping or garnish. I enjoy strawberries and Kiwis. So maybe a nice anmitsu with pomegranates, dragon fruit, and kiwi for color variation and varying levels of sweetness. I was also considering something else; perhaps Castella or a simple individual pudding for each person. That would not be difficult." He considered his options.
"What do you think? A nice fluffy Castella or Pudding?" Though a few thoughts did cross his mind at that moment, "Oh, there's also dango, taiyaki, and dorayaki, or melonpan?"

“I have seen castella cut into dice sized pieces, kind of like a crouton for dessert, that way you can still use it as a topping on the pudding.” Juniper added with a smile, just talking about food for a while had caused her to feel rather famished, and she expressed this by placing her hand over her goldenrod obi belt of her yukata, “The other options would be great for the bakery menu and I would love to try them all, Fenrir-san.”
Cobalt blue eyes looked around more to determine if they had purchased enough to make everything the wolf deity had in mind. “Do you think before we look at the potential bakery locations, we can have lunch, I seem to have developed an appetite simply discussing your dinner plans.”After musing on the idea for a minute she pondered if she should help Fenrir cook lunch, or have the zen tea house prepare it, or even try going to one of Duke Toma’s surf & turf restaurants. “What do you feel like doing after this?”Hachi rested on her shoulder as they both stared up at his rather tall stature, she stood around five feet ten inches, and her wooden okobo sandals allowed her to stand at six feet. With all the shopping done, there was still the matter of leaving the Central Lands, and for Fenrir to carry her to Oolong City. There was quite some distance between their present location and their destination, she calculated that she would need to eat by the time they arrived, and perhaps a restaurant would be more suitable. “Duke Toma has several restaurants in Oolong City, we should visit one of them, and you can try the local cuisine for inspiration.”[290] [2,919]

"Castella would be very useful in the anmitsu. I can also use it as its own separate dish, so that would be the best option. I'll just make large Castella and then slice it into smaller more manageable pieces; maybe, serve some stabilized whipped cream and some fresh seasonal fruit so the guests can garnish their cake however they wish. Hm, creating a menu is rather fun when you have someone to bounce ideas off of. It helps diversify the ideas; keep what works, throw out what doesn't. Plus, not everyone likes the same food, so it helps open up new options. And yes, I think I'll keep those for the bakery menu; people don't always want some fancy dessert. Sometimes they want something simple; a nice something they can have for lunch perhaps." He nodded a bit as he saw that they had purchased just enough ingredients to make the perfect meal for everyone at the Zen Tea House."
He peered over at one final booth, as if he were deciding to get anything from that one, though in the end he didn't grab anything. They had bought plenty as is.
He heard Juni mention that she had gained a bit of an appetite while discussing his dinner plans and he grinned, "well, I'm happy to hear that I inspire hunger in someone." He rubbed his chin, "Oh? Maybe if we're lucky, we'll run into Toma. He seemed interesting the last time that I ran into him..." He turned to face her, "So, since we're done shopping here, let's go ahead and find somewhere to eat and then we'll head back. I can carry you; if you don't mind that is," He walked up to the young woman and held out his arms, "Heh, leap into my arms and we'll get to wherever you want to go eat just that much faster," he shot the Tea Princess a teasing wink.
His arms were outstretched, which would allow the young Tea Princess to step up and into them. That is if she desired to. If she did, she would feel the arms of the wolf wrap around her and then she would be lifted up off the ground as they took off higher into the sky; yet, he did not just carry her in his arms, akin to a princess. Instead he allowed her to sit comfortably on his lap and stomach as he floated through the air, as if he were laying back on a sofa or floating in the pool; his arms crossed behind his back. A real nice comfortable magic carpet ride.

It delighted Juniper to help Fenrir with his inspirations for dinner at Zen Tea House, she was not a cook, but she was a great eater of food. It was precisely why she wanted to work on opening a bakery together, she had enough zeni to do such, and her sister Clove had encouraged the idea of starting a business because it allowed her to be responsible.
After the shopping was finalized, she looked over to the wolf deity as he outstretched his arms for her to leave West City and travel to Oolong City. To anyone, the idea of being held while flying would bring a blush of shyness, but not to Juni she was more focused on the sensation of flying while studying the channels of ki through chakras. As a mystic, she was cool, and collective regardless of the situation. When Fenrir picked her up like a princess in a storybook, she began to peer at his use of ki, once they were up in the air he leaned back causally, and she adjusted herself accordingly to prevent herself from falling off.
“Fascinating, you have to use all your chakras to fly.” Juniper observed, “It is going to take some time training my own ki to be able to fly since I have limited myself to using specific chakras to perform the miracle of healing, the rest of my chakras are weak in comparison. Thank you for transporting me and Hachi back home, Fenrir-san.”
Hachi flailed his tentacles in the air as they sped through the sky, while it hovered freely from the ground, this was the highest the octopus has ever been.
“Ah, yes, I shall text Duke Toma before our arrival, perhaps he can join us for lunch.” Juniper dug inside the pocket of her yukata, and pulled out a flip phone typing the message via text. “Hopefully, he can, I understand he gets rather busy with his village and restaurants.”
Their heading was south west from their present location, her cobalt blue eyes looked at the distance, strands of her hair shifted on her pale skinned cheek, she was like a doll with a calm expression. The wolf deity was fully aware that this was her faux form, her demonic visage was kept suppressed due to her profession as a healer, and she nodded her head as she checked the direction they were flying in.
“At this speed we should arrive in four or five hours. Will that be alright? Perhaps taking a break halfway across?”
