Waka… was not good at small talk. She tried – she really did, but… she could not break the ice for the life of her. Maybe it was her sheltered upbringing, maybe it was the life of a hermit; maybe she was just klutz. But… right now, she was pretty sure she’d die if she didn’t speak up. Grenn had brought a lot to the table, and she didn’t have a damn clue of how to react to it. It’d been an hour since their… 'misadventure', with Waka driving silently the whole distance in the meantime – she genuinely needed that much time to come up with a reaction to what her unlikely partner had to say. She didn’t really want to encourage his murderous rampage, but she didn’t want to encourage him to be clingy either… ugh. But she couldn’t just say nothing! So, as they finally came to a stop at a meagre roadhouse amidst the snow, Waka tried to finally speak up. The blizzard had calmed down, too, so he’d at least be able to hear her now. ”Uh… so, we’re here…” began the girl, painfully awkward, as she parked the truck – not her finest job, but she got the feeling the owners of this place didn’t see more than one car a day anyway. Clearing her throat with a cough, she finally glanced at Grenn; her usual bored expression not doing her attempt to be kind any favours. ”Ah… you’ve – you’ve got quite the story, huh?” she said weakly, trying her utmost to be polite – another field she wasn’t even remotely skilled in – ”So… look. I’ll give it t' you straight: I don’t like killing much, but… the job’s done now. No point pan'cking 'bout it now. So… you just take it easy. I dunno how I feel about driving around a… well, some kinda vamp're or whatever, but you don’t seem too bad so far.”Heaving a little sigh of relief, she swung open the cab door and awkwardly shuffled out – thankfully a truck of all things was sort of convenient with her size, so it wasn’t too much of a hassle. It was getting late in the evening now. She’d guess it was 8 or 9 at night. The snow was dark, and there was hardly a moon to speak of… oh well. A roadhouse dinner, a refuel, and then back on the road with another coffee – nothing too new to her. Hopefully Grenn didn’t mind the trip. Otherwise, he could walk home! W-Well, maybe she shouldn’t say that… she didn’t really want to find out how feisty the Saiyan was. Maybe she could beat him, but it wouldn’t do her any favours. Glancing at the Saiyan, another idea came to her mind… well, he did say he owed her one, right? It’d lift the weight off his back, and… she wanted a tiny bit of payback for all the trouble, too. ”Hey, puppy. You wanna do me a favour, right?” barked the lady, giving him a little wave as she put on her proper Winter coat from the back of the truck’s cab; ”It’s dinner time, and I’m starved. You shout me dinner, and I’ll handle the fuel and what'ver else. We can chat a bit, too. Otherwise, well, I guess I’d have to chew on you, huh?” It probably wouldn’t take more than a glance at Waka to know that it was a dangerous offer, but she never claimed to be a saint in the first place. Unhooking the bowser pump, she quietly set about getting the truck refuelled… ah, she’d have to pawn it off later too, huh? Shame. Man, it really had been a mess… she had to wonder what anyone would think if they found their leftovers. The snow would no doubt swallow up most of it until Summer, but… tch. Hopefully she wouldn’t have a bounty on her head anytime soon.

Grenn nodded as he kept just listening in to then and got off as she did aswell not wnting to say somethng bad, and just sighed as he casually and occasionally Glanced at her. As He was called again he would have nodded "oh uhm sure no problem....i doubt you could chew me but well i am a bit hungry too i guess" He'd CHuckle and sigh nodding thinking on what she could have liked to eat starting to walk off soon after to go and get himself and her something decent to eat after all he did promise her he d be paying for the food didnt he? as he kept walking he looked back "ill be back soon as soon as i get Dinner for both" he d sigh and walk inside the Roadhouse, Gladly there were no Big Lines and well, Grenn Being used to eat not really normally would start to go ahead and look through the Varioud things, ordering various types of Roasted Stakes and Some Bowls of Soba aswell as a few sweets and Coffe , a Meal where he d spend about 80 Zenis on, oh well, after all It was indeed a Roadhouse and He wasnt as used to saving am i right?
as Grenn awaited he d sigh thinking back on what happened feeling very thankful towards Wakana for not just dumping him there...surehe could fly but well...it wasnt the best to Travel alone in a Blizzard....
after a few Minutes 2 Big Meals for both would be ready as he Payed up and assked to wait a second so he could warn her, basically just walking out for a second Yelling "Dinners here!! Come on before it gets Cold!!" Grenn simply smiled and waited by the door a little bit happy he could do something to repay her tho very small...

Grenn’s casual answer was met with a tiny scoff from Waka; albeit much more to herself than him – oh, if only he knew. She’d eat anything… whether it liked it or not. Unfortunately, that left her thinking about food while she was getting the truck refuelled, which was never a good avenue of thought for her. Her stomach was soon growling, and her mood was quickly going downhill… bah, what a miserable night! Stuck playing truckie for only a hope of being paid, with some mess of a guy. Whatever… at least she’d get a meal out of it now. Roadhouses were nice places, too, so she reckoned it’d be worth the trouble.
After refuelling, she’d saunter her way to the roadhouse itself to pay; pointedly ignoring her eager partner’s call – though, his childlike behaviour was kinda cute. Though she had to duck under the doorframe a little, she didn’t get too many odd looks. The cost of the fuel, though… ugh. Now, that was why this wasn’t on a main road… but, you gotta do what you gotta do. And with that sorted… she had the main event! Finally taking Grenn’s lead, she’d settle down at a table with a considerable thud; her bored expression finally changing just a little bit as she daintily sniffed and examined their dinner…
”Hm… not bad, not bad. But, cowboy – aren’t you gett'ng something for yourself?”
With a tiny glimmer of a smirk, Waka dug in while she let her teasing comment sink in – gotta take the initiative, after all. Despite her size and greedy demeanour, though, the fox was rather neat as she starting eating. That said… compared to most people, her version of ‘neat’ still meant bigger bites than most people could fit in their mouth, much less actually chew. The roasted steaks were promptly smothered in barbeque sauce and vanished in just three or four bites, while the soup bowls were drained in one go rather than any kind of dignified pace. It shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone given her figure, but… well, it was still an impressive sight.
The sweets were given far more courtesy, on the other hand – though the little bowl of ice cream was tiny compared to the number of plates and bowls that had been cleaned, Waka treated it like royalty. She carefully mulled over the first spoonful, clearly deep in thought. Gently, she’d swallow, and then finally… ”…it’s good!” proclaimed the girl, eyes sparkling with just a hint of excitement amidst her usual dour expression – ”It’s not just regular supermarket stuff… this is the upmarket ice cream. It’s not straight from the freezer, too; it’s been given just enough time to soften. The mix of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry scoops rather than actual Neapolitan is a good touch, and the proportions of the sprinkles are just right…”
However – the ice cream would not be shown any mercy after that sudden review.
There wasn’t any time for a moment of silence for the dessert, unfortunately; as Waka was clearly feeling far more talkative after the meal. The wonders a full stomach could do for someone’s mood… well, a mostly full stomach, anyway. Thankfully, she’d at least left Grenn’s coffee behind. Not that she hadn’t been tempted, but… ”So, cowboy. Those punks from earlier – do they hunt you or somethin'? I don’t wanna bump into 'em on the way home, that’s all I’m saying.” she remarked, sitting up properly with her tiny coffee mug in hand; towering over Grenn and the table; ”The main road isn’t far from here – it’ll be a shorter run if we take that. I get the feeling it’d be bad news to come back the way we came, anyway.”
Pausing, the heavy fox would sip her coffee gently, before speaking up again. ”By the way… I think it’s unfair for you to have told me so much earlier while I’ve had my mouth shut, so I’ll intr'duce myself a bit better. Wakana Waka… I came from the North'rn Lands down here just a few years ago. It’s a long story, but… well…” began the girl, before pausing, and glancing away… she wasn’t good at this stuff. And, she didn’t really want to talk about her past much. It was a boring story, anyway. ”Hrm, well. I didn’t get along very well with 'nyone up there, so I ended up down here instead. What’s something interesting I can tell you… uh, I’m no vampire, but I’m kinda part Majin, if that means anything to you.”

Grenn just shrugged and let her eat normally just taking one plate of the spaghetti he tool leaving her pretty much the rest just listening to her, as he hear her say that Grenn would just shake his head "oh well no worries...i just thought i owed you an explenation to why i screwed everything up....you dont really need to say anything if you do not wish to...after all its your choice" Grenn smiled a little being much warmer and calm then before as he listened to her and heard she was part majin "Wow part majin? thats cool, never met a majin or well...someone who's part that, its cool...im just a plain saiyan, not much to myself i guess...." he looked to the side and out the window "....aside being a monster that is...."He'd hesitate a bit before eating again and just sighed going back to eating and looked at her "you know the meal might have been 80 Zeni but i dont feel like i ve helped enough...if there is anything else i can do for you do tell me ok?" he slightly sour look he had while he was looking outside went back to a normal calm look, Grenn semmed pretty glad to have her company, tho...he seemed like he was hiding something, as if the car was not really a necessity for him, after all Grenn was able to teleport and She did see that, not to mention the absurd strength shows earlier compared to most.
Grenn started humming a bit of a rock songas he listened to the radio in the background "So...next place to go Wakana?" he asked hoping she d have kind of an idea on where to go to since he was not familiar with the roads

With her meal decimated, Waka seemed a lot more relaxed – if it weren’t for the coffee in her hands, she might even be accused of looking drowsy. She’d listen quietly as Grenn explained himself, but didn’t seem particularly moved. Not that she ever looked particularly moved… unless it involved ice cream, it seemed. ”Yeah… not like, from my par'nts, though. The Majin stuff… hrm, well, it’s nothing special. I don’t really get it either. But, I wouldn’t be th's big without it, that’s for sure.” rumbled the girl, glancing down at herself. Something of a difficult effort, given how obstructive her chest was; but the sentiment was there, at least. ”Right. ‘Just’ a vampire Saiyan. I’m sure they’ll write books for you – unless you write 'em yourself.” She was pretty sure she’d read a novella like that lately, actually.
”Don’t give me that ‘monster’ stuff, either. I eat people, and I’m not c'lled a monster yet. You’re no doubt in the clear.” lectured the girl, oddly perturbed by the thought. Admittedly, she had been called a monster before, but she kinda got over it in a hurry. Her opinion was the one that mattered – no one else’s. And, well, unsurprisingly, she hadn’t actually eaten anyone… it was just a distinct possibility. ”Don’t beat yourself up over nothin'. You can’t convince anyone 'nless you can convince yourself, y’know?”
Thankfully, her talk on matters of morality ended there. She really wasn’t any good at it, so she was just as eager to change the subject. ”So long as I get paid – and fed – I don’t really care what happens. I’m a grown-up, I can take care of myself. If you want to do more for me, then buy me a drink when we get back to the city. Someth'ng good, too. Double Barr'l Pale Ale, or whatever.” Shrugging, Waka gently sipped on her warming coffee… as if the rest of that meal hadn’t been warming enough. ”Now that we’ve refuelled, we can head south back to the city. I’m assum'ng you’d rather that than going back to Tarara Pass. I sure don’t have any luggage to go back for.”
Rolling her shoulders, Waka finished her coffee and placed the mug down; seeming finally satisfied… her stomach even gave a slight rumble in agreement. ”I’ll see if I can get the truck 'nd any of the stuff pawned off near there… I know some troubles'me types who could find a use for it. I’d rather not be driving it around, but if you wanna take the risk you’re welcome to.” continued the girl, raising an eyebrow ever-so-slightly; ”Hopefully it’s worth something, but I doubt it’ll be much. If it’s a total loss, though, I’ll just make you owe me dinner for the rest of the month rather than the rest of the night.”

Grenn as he was listening to her would smile up and chuckle a little "well heh guess i drink them instead dont i?" Grenn would chuckle a little more and nod at her "i most likely will stick with ya...i have to find my place again but doing it in company will be better then being costantly alone i suppose....plus i get to pay ya back i assume" he d crack his neck and got up soon after she was finished eating and drinking "well then...city it is, ill show ya something when we ll have a bit of time by the way....i know a little things that makes travelling much easier..." He d wait for her and slowly walk outside as he sighed really just hoping the trip wouldnt take long, as he got out he literally just teleported right next to the truck waiting for her calmly and stretching.
as he saw her get out he d smile and sighed "by the way.....this is probably the best Travelling i ve done in general....most likely because i have such good company" He d chukle and smile normally hoping she d appriciate the small compliment as he waited for her to come to the truck

The thought of Grenn continuing to haunt her made Waka frown inwardly – well, he seemed genuine enough, but… was associating with murderous Saiyan really good for her image? Oh well. If he wanted to pay her back, then she wasn’t going to complain. ”Right. I’m not exactly used to a hang'r-on, so just be nice and do some of the driving and we’ll get on fine. It’s a l'ng trip, but the tr'ffic will be nearly non-exist'nt, and I’ve done this kind of work before. Just with slightly more guar'nteed pay… and better radio.” Music in the early hours… well, at least the indie station should have someone fun hosting. Newbies and wannabes always brought something new to the table, even if it was usually incomprehensible. ”And if your 'little things' are anything to do with stims or hiring a driver, don’t both'r. I’ve been through the former enough, and the latter’s not cost-effective right now. I’m not that lazy, 'nyway…”
Alas, Grenn’s little blink of a teleport was lost on Waka, who was preoccupied with buying snacks for the ride home as he zipped away. She wasn’t going to miss the chance – roadhouse jerky was worth its weight in gold, and she considered it good manners. She didn’t care much for how other people saw her, but… leaving a good impression on a good cook had done her a lot of favours in the past. And, besides; you couldn’t be a glutton without having an appreciation for your food! Of course, it was a lot easier to be in such good spirits after a free meal, but that… was neither here nor there.
Sauntering out with her prizes in hand, Waka didn’t waste any time before hauling herself back into the driver’s seat – she fumbled while starting the truck a little, though, as Grenn’s remarks distracted her a bit. She really wasn’t sure of how to take his comment… it was a compliment, sure, but she didn’t exactly consider her conduct particularly nice… ah, well, maybe he meant… ”Um. Thanks, I guess. I 'spose as a Saiyan this is kind of a win for you, huh?” Not the most graceful reply. ”I’m not so into getting shot, but a free dinn'r is nice. Weather’s nice now, too.”
H-He wasn’t hitting on her, was he? No way, right? G-Geez…
Clearing her throat and her mind with a cough, Waka tried to focus on the journey ahead. ”Well, if I’m driving, I guess you can play with the radio, 'nless you have any other exciting stories. I’ve got nothin'… I doubt I could even answer any questions you have about me, but I c'n try. I’m… not much of a speak'r, I guess…” Once again, the fox was overshadowed by her awkwardness – she was used to silent drives, not such excitable company. She didn’t especially mind it, but she didn’t really know how to deal with it, either. ”It’ll be a dec'nt ride, so settle in. If you think you can go for my neck while I’m busy, though, I’ll teach you some new things about my appetite…”

"h-huh? a win for me?" Grenn didnt really understead what she meant and just decided to listed to the rest of the wrds she said instead of asking anything ,not really knowing how she was feeling at the moment,Grenn just felt nice about being able to repay her for not abandoning him and not having eaten him yet "hmm....dont think i have any real story...i could tell you the experiment but...its not....good uh...conversation....yyeaaah ill just turn on the radio, rock music?" Grenn would ask her taste in music before anything since he didnt wanna select something that would upset her get her focus off of travelling tho hearing her next words grenn would just blink and look at her "i believe i've made clear i was not going to....beside i dont kill things to get their blood...." he d sigh and just look around smiling a little after "remind me i owe you dinner once we get to the city and i think i should be set repaying you....unless you ll want more in which scase ill stick around" grenn seemed pretty sincere and innocent about his wording, after allhe didnt really know what hitting on someone was like ,let alone be trying
after a little of silence Grenn would speak up again trying to make things easier for both "anyways.....if you just want to say anything even a comment i wont be hurt....just speak your mind i suppose..." Grenn sighed once more and kept looking at the slow around the place Grenn seemed kind of happy to do the travelling with her, the way she could clearly notice was him being calm, much calmer then before, aswell as just him humming a few rock song he remembered.
as he looked through the window he sighed again looking at the sky "you know i like snow but im happy its clearing up"

Waka nodded lazily along with Grenn – ”Yeah, well, sci'nce would be lost on me. But don’t you Saiy'ns get 'nto all kinds of trouble?” mused the girl, gradually shifting the truck’s gears up and getting them moving as she chatted; ”Radio’s fine, too. Any bands you like, cowboy? Figured you’d be more country than rock, hm? Well, it’s close enough.” Giving a tiny smirk to herself, she just focused on the road… and began to idly gnaw on one of the strips of jerky already. Bit strong, but good to chew on with a long journey ahead. Damn, she should’ve gotten a drink, though…
Still, a second free dinner would surely balance out all this fuss. She could go to Majin Moos… or, maybe one of those seafood places? Hrm, or maybe just one of those pancake places… a-ah, well, that was a bit selfish for her. But… having her head on the line ought to be worth something, right? Intentional or not. But, for better or worse, Grenn spoke up again before she got too lost in her imagination. ”Speak my mind, huh? Um. I just don’t know what to think of you, cowboy. I don’t know Saiy'ns very well, but meetin' a vampire one from a lab or somethin' – that’s pretty, uh. Novel. So to speak. New to me.” rambled the girl awkwardly, trying to capture her feelings; ”Not that I c'n talk. I’m no one-in-a-million, but… not so many Beastmen my height. Couple of Majin, though…”
Heaving a sigh as the music played, Waka wracked her brain for something more… friendly, to talk about – seeing as Grenn didn’t seem to be passing out or anything. ”I grew up in the snow, so I like it well enough. I’ve seen photos of the des'rt, y’know; far to the South. Wonder what it’s like. The beaches, too… you ev'r been out there, cowboy?” Raising an eyebrow, she glanced at her company. Well, she could definitely have worse passengers. She didn’t like talking too much, but she felt like she was carrying the conversation right now… maybe it said something about how comfortable she was, or maybe how awkward she was.
”Well. If you’ve got no stories, then give me some advice. You Saiy'n are hotshots, right? I don’t like fighting so much, but I’ll list'n.” She was pandering, even she had to admit, but it was better than sitting in silence while she was trying to keep herself awake and focussed. ”I don’t follow any school of martial arts or 'ny of that garbage, so don’t try and preach any of that stuff to me. But, never know what you might learn from a str'nger, right?”
Blinking for a moment, Waka promptly realised her mistake – ”Oh, um. Hrm. My advice… I’m not much good at fightin'. I just kinda… be big and tough. I use some Majin abilities to mess people up, too; but I can’t exactly teach you anything about that. Probably for the best.” rumbled the lady, tilting her head in thought; ”I guess, if it counts… even as a thug, there’s no point pickin' trouble for your ego’s sake. Being cool feels good, sure; but it’s not worth losin' your head over.”

Grenn nodded listening normally and looked at her "well yeah actually....i visited the southern isles about 2 weeks ago.....was looking for my place as i said already but uuh....no luck...heh..." he d chuckle a little and keep on looking around "Partecipated a tournament too...was winning but i had fun and it didnt seem right since the guy i faced actually knew martial arts so heh...i forfeited" grenn just scratched his cheek a little as he kept thinking "the beaches i saw were very nice tho heh....wasnt my favorite of places but...i really liked the visit anyways.." as he kept thinking he d just sigh and listen in
as he heard she said to give tips grenn just blinked a little and thought to himself a little before speaking up again "aaaah i really wish i could help with that but uuuh.....i wasnt trained by anyone nor i know any real tips....i just learned you usually duck towards the hit the opponent throws if its a high and dodge or block the rest....thats pretty muc hall i know about fighting....im not sure why im well....strong" hed look at her hoping this wouldnt upset or end the conversation since well he didnt know how to really do any proper fighting at all...it just...came natural...
"also wanting to be tough isnt a bad thing....as long as you keep your life safe and know you can take the fight its fine.....the best i can say is learning to pick a fight....if you know you can take it you shouldnt have problems, if you know you cant just avoid....tho you most likely already knew this" grenn smiled a little glad that she was starting to bring out things to talk about and just thought 'hmm.....maybe....'
he looked at her and smiled normally as before "so waka....favorite dish?? or well favorite type of cooking in general i suppose....also salty or sweets??" as grenn asked he seemed pretty eager to talk about this, clearly this saiyan loves food even if....he...doesnt really....need it...

Once again, Waka went silent as Grenn explained, and hesitated before coming up with any answer… the Southern Islands, huh? She’d never even considered going there. Hm, beaches… she heard they were a big deal, but she wasn’t sure if she’d handle the heat. And, what would she wear there…? Her sweater seemed inappropriate… ”So you go to tourn'ments and such? I guess that’d be a Saiy'n for you… though, you gave up because they knew marti'l arts? I guess you guys have your weak spots, too.” Her suspicion was just proven by his response to her musings on fighting. ”Definitely a Saiy'n. I hear you guys just live on fight'ng. Well, I’ll play fair – I do have ears hidden under my hair, so I’m a pretty typical Beastm'n, too. And… y’know. The M'jin side’s obvious…”
His response to her own feelings of fighting was rather wasted on her, though – ‘learning to pick a fight’? She didn’t know anything about that; she just fought when she had to. Or when she was hungry… she didn’t have any morals or the like she stuck to. ”All that talk of bec'ming the strongest… it doesn’t mean anything to me. I guess it’s like – some people 'live to work', but I’m more of the 'work to live' type. I liked training back in the day, but… I didn’t really have anything to do back then but train. Y'know what I mean?”
Alas, any focus Waka had on either driving or the conversation vanished as Grenn asked that last question. Closing her eyes gently, the fox thought it through… should she really answer that? Food wasn’t her life or anything, but… she did have a lot of feelings about it. Hm. To rise to the bait? Or to save her dignity…? Well, the answer was easy.
”…favourite food, huh. I see how it is. I guess I des'rve it after dinner. So, fine, I’ll bite.” grumbled Waka, far from ignorant that the last laugh would probably be at her expense – oh well, it’d keep her busy, that was for sure. ”Tough quest'n. I’m only really experi'nced with food from up north, so excuse me if I’m kind of ignor'nt.”
Pausing, Wakana took a moment to put her thoughts in some kind of order. It really was a tough question… ”Okay, I’ll simplify it a bit. Let’s go by meal… so, breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert. I can handle that. Lemme see…
Well, I do have a soft spot for the full breakfast. Bacon and eggs… I don’t actually like eggs as much, but they go together well. Breakfast sandwiches, too, if the chef’s being that caring. Cereal, though, that’s no good – not filling at all. Muffins are kinda too decadent, as well. Pancakes are fantastic, but it has to be maple syrup; pecan or blueberry just doesn’t sit quite right. Oh, sausages too, that’s a nice pick instead of bacon. Waffles… only to finish up. Otherwise, it’s just makes you feel too lethargic. A breakfast is meant to pick you up, y’know?
Lunch… well, setting aside morning and afternoon tea. You know, I actually like some of the Western Lands’ stuff, like bento boxes and tonkatsu. Um, it’s cute, don’t you think? That’s kinda where my outfit came from, too, so I have a soft spot for all that. The flavours are so strong, too. Oh, I love their little crepes, especially. The colours are so appetising. Ramen is excellent, too. So many choices, and the salty flavours are sensational. Fried tofu’s nice too… err, I went off track, didn’t I?
Uh, lunch, for real. I guess I’m a bit trashy, I like Majin Moo’s and other easy stuff like that. I’m a big eater, so it sits well with me. Chicken is great… anything fried, frankly. But, I like a good salad too. Big sandwiches or burgers are really great for that; it’s a good mix. Pizza’s great for that too… plus you get all the best sides that way. Garlic bread’s the bomb, yeah? Of course, you need something sweet to finish up… I like one of those fancy coffees; kinda makes me feel a bit younger. Or, a milkshake. Or, one of those spiders; the sodas with ice cream? Donuts, that’s another good option… or a smoothie, if you wanna be more healthy. I’m not one of those punks who say they just burn it all off – I, uh, don’t think you’d believe me if I said that, anyway… heh.
Dinner, though… that’s the important part. Meat’s vital, of course. Prime rib, scotch fillet, porterhouse; it’s all good. Salisbury steak has a bit more kick but it’s not as good as the real stuff. I hear people in the Southern Lands are keen on stews and chowder, but I don’t care for it. Actually, on that note – seafood’s amazing. I’ve only had a bit, yet I’m hooked. Fish and chips… it’s a meal for a king. Lobster, crab, clam, calamari, prawns; I’m jealous of people who got to grow up on that stuff. Maybe that’s a better reason to go the Southern Islands…
And dessert! I know it’s bland, but ice cream’s my first choice. Lots of flavours and colours, and you can combine it with so much. You ever had dessert shooters? That’s a real fancy one. Sundaes in general are just so luxurious. I could have them every day, every meal. Shaved ice is up there, too. Sweets have got to be cold… cakes are great, of course; but it’s hard to pin down a certain kind. Same with pies, but they’re not quite as high on my list. Then there’s brownies, tiramisu, cookies, and pudding; for when you want to have dessert as a meal rather than a treat. But most of all…
…so long as someone cared about it, it’ll usually be good.” finished the fox, with a slightly more serious tone than her usual lethargic one. ”Boring, I know, but it’s true.” She’d pause, before piping up again, with less energy – ”Of course, the best food is ki. But, that’s a Majin thing, so don’t think about 't too hard, cowboy.”
Finally satisfied with her explanation, Waka gave a little sigh, focussing on the road again. Not that they’d likely see any traffic here, but… she wasn’t going to be lazy. Not a good excuse for dying, that. ”Okay, you’ve done your part. You c'n snooze if you want. I’ll take care of things.” she rumbled, slowly glancing at Grenn; ”Thanks for the talk. Kept me busy until the coffee kicked in. But, consider this your warning if you wanna treat me to dinner – I won’t have any mercy…”

Grenn basically kept on listening "well...i ve never really been one for being the strongest, i dont even care too much about morals in a fight....i mean i stole a few techniques too...i just mean that tou should always know when to run away or to fight a fight...no puns intended.." as he sighed once more which could be clearly distinguished as a normal one He'd speak up again"you know...i honestly believe you look pretty good....as in hairs, clothes, ears everything, i believe the fact you being a majin isnt that bad either"
Grenn kept on listening aswell throughout the whole food part saying talking back at a few things simply appriciating bacon, ice-creams and all the possible desserts before adding "My favorite dish so far has to be SeaFruits Udon, hands down my favorite dish...i really like main courses heh.....also to be fair i drink blood, im not so sure i can say anything about the whole eating ki" He'd then try to chuckle it up to try and brighten the situation for her a little trying to make her feel less awkward about that. as she started speaking about the dinner and said that warning he d look at her and laugh a little cracking his head laying his head on the seat "heh....i promised you i'd make up , dont matter what you take....i should have enough zeni for a dinner anyways...." before starting to sleep he d sigh and just talk a little "...i know its a but out of the blue but....its a bit weird......almost feels like someone's wanting all this to just happen....and before you tell me anythin bout me being religious trust me....i am really the furthest thing...."
"hmmm....anyways you re right, better rest to not have a stroke when i see the bill on the dinner.....either way ill get you the dinner, least i can do for putting your head on the line am i right??" He'd laugh a little closing his eyes feeling calm....as he slowly slipped into being semi-asleep its been a while since he actually took some time to properly rest...well as much as uum...resting your head on a seat can be counted as proper rest...not to mention the other time he was awoken by some weird Talking Boar....i guess it really helped him falling asleep Tho grenn would not fall fully asleep yet and kept on listening to the radio while poking his own arm lightly with his finger following the rithm
for the rest of the Trip just rested his head and basically kept on sometimes throwing in a few questions of routin like 'how much till town' or 'we gonna do any other stops?' the usual. before they finally arrived back to the city [479] [2008]
