Zukkah continued to stare up at the stars, while laying across the hammock. This was the first time in many years since the saiyan was able to relax and enjoy his time away from his family. With his past unknown to Clove and Zukkah unaware of who she was, it wouldn't be long before the saiyan would say something that may or may not ring a bell to the demon woman. But as of now, he would listen to what she had to say and grin. "A leader? This is not the first time I was told that very same thing...Maybe it is my destiny to go to Little Vegeta and do as I am told." He announced to the woman, giving her an idea of what his goal was.
With Clove explaining that Champagne was best for the occasion because she was entering the Woman's World Martial Arts tournament tomorrow, Zukkah looked over toward her red eyes and grinned. "A tournament for women? Where is this located?" He asked, as he began to wonder exactly where this would take place just in case he would want to go. When she mentioned he was a good kisser, he looked back to the stars and smiled. "Hopefully you enjoyed it as much as I did." He added, with a light blush rushing over his face.
As Clove handed over a small box and explained exactly what it was to Zukkah, he leaned up and grabbed the box from her hand. "Damn, are you sure? This could come in handy in the future." He put the box away inside the chest piece of his armor and looked up to the woman with his one eye and smiled. "Thank you, Clove. So, tell me what you have in mind for the future? For yourself, I mean." He added. There was much for Zukkah to learn in his future and Clove seemed to be someone to help set him on a decent path, so he couldn't wait to see what was in store for his own future.

Clove handed over the capsule case, taking the bottle of champagne, and propped her elbow up on the hammock with her knuckles holding up her head at her temple. The demoness drank the bubbling liquid the moment he brought up Little Vegeta, a place in Oolong City she was quite familiar with, her crimson eyes widened for a moment, taking longer to drink down quite a bit of it until she stopped to breathe. The past would always be there, from the beginning they both agreed to enjoy the present, and there was no harm in discussing the future.
“Destiny, indeed.” Clove finally added, “The tournament takes place in West City, it is sponsored by Capsule Corp. The same company that developed those Dynocapsules.”
The flames from the firepit illuminated Zukkah’s face long enough to see him blushing, as bold as he had been, she figured they were both out of their element in each other’s company which made her smile briefly until he asked her what her goals in life were.
“I am traveling right now, I plan to see the world, taste all kinds of cuisine, and open up Tea shops in honor of my clan. Apart from that, my destiny is already sealed, unfortunately. If we’re going to be asking each other personal questions, then it is only right that we take turns, right? So tell me, is the wound over your other eye so severe that you must cover about half your face like that? Is it still healing?”

With the sounds of the ocean waves crashing against the shore of the island Zukkah and Clove were currently on, the saiyan could say that he was actually enjoying himself. It was much better than sitting in a cell, and staring at a wall every single day. With Clove at his side, it seemed that he would regain his confidence and become the saiyan he deserved to be. "Capsule Corporation, huh? Seems like their technology is superior to most of what I have seen." He replied, while staring down at the firepit in deep thought.
Zukkah couldn't guarantee that he would make a great leader, but he could promise that he would do his best. A slight smile began to appear upon his face, while listening to Clove speak of her future plans. As she finished up, Clove asked Zukk a few questions of her own. The saiyan looked to her with his eye and grinned. He has yet to share this information to anyone who had not witnessed the situation. "This is just a small wound I gained while protecting my old clan from a group of felines. They were smarter than most of my kind, so it was obvious that they got what they wanted each time they would appear." He said to the woman, while slowly removing the patch covering his eye.
The wound was almost fully healed, but Zukkah didn't want to risk infection, so he kept the laceration clean and covered with the patch until he felt it was fully healed. "Lucky for me, I was able to escape with just this wound. It could have been a lot worse." He added, before standing from the hammock completely and stretching out. "After this tournament, where will m'lady be heading next?" He turned to face the woman, staring deep into her red irises.

“Capsule Corp is a hundred years ahead of its time with their superior technology, it would be tough for anyone to come close to keeping up to the forerunners of excellent tech, otherwise there is never a dull moment in buying the latest product.” Clove smiled which faded shortly after the conversation became a little serious, she listened to Zukkah explain how he lost his eye a price he paid to a feline claw to protect his clan, which was a strong indication he grew up in a remote village of saiyans far from the protection of the inner cities of every territory. The patch over his eye was removed, the scar looked minor over his closed eyelid, but his eye was gone, and by that point it was clear that he was not going to wear it anymore.
“The wound healed seamlessly, just a thin scar is left.” She simply stated before drinking more champagne directly from the bottle. “Are you going to join me for a drink?”
The tea princess offered her bottle as he stood up from the hammock to stretch keeping his dark eye locked into hers. A smile formed on her face, “After the tournament, the cruise liner will be heading to the southern islands, I am personally going to buy an island and set up a drink stand for iced tea and smoothies from the local produce.”
After a beat, she enjoyed the sea breeze followed by the heat of the roaring fire, it was comforting to spend the evening with someone instead of being alone. In the end, she would be traveling alone, and she was used to it as long as she occupied her time.
“Well, I hope you get to see my match tomorrow night, either in person or via broadcast. I am confident that I will perform well as a martial artist that specializes in swordsmanship.”

As the Tea Princess explained to him on how nobody could even come close to the technology that Capsule Corporation produced, Zukkah gave a slight nod to agree with the words she had said. There was no doubt in his mind that she was correct. The young saiyan may have grown up on a small island to the south of their current location, but he did most of the trading and made many trips to the mainland for materials or food. Giving up on his family and friends was not easy, but he had to detach himself from the ways of their race.
After he managed to reveal the thinly sliced scar to Clove and inform her of how it happened, she replied with how nice it had healed up over the few weeks of having it. "Thank you, I have yet to look at it since the day it happened, so keeping it clean was not easy." He replied to her words, while flipping the patch back down over the scar.
Once Zukk saw the woman drink straight from the bottle he began to grin. She was the ideal woman and that made the saiyan think of how he could make the Tea Princess his. He simply shook off the thought when he seen Clove offer the bottle to him. Zukkah happily took a small step forward and grabbed it from her hands. "Ah, yes. Thank you, m’lady." He bowed his head slightly, before placing the bottle to his lips and chugging the cold liquid.
As he continued to drink from the bottle, the Tea Princess spoke of how she would purchase a small island, and set up a stand to sell iced tea and smoothies made from the local produce. It definitely sounded delicious to the saiyan, causing him to pull the bottle from his lips and hand it back to the woman. "Your own island, huh? That would be a lot of fun. You get to start fresh and live off the land. Sounds like a dream to me." He said to the woman.
Zukkah didn’t know much about these world martial arts tournaments, but it sounded like a lot of fun, so he gave her a nod once more. "If I can get to see you fight, I will be the first one there and cheer you on the whole time!" He said with a bit of excitement coming from the tone of his voice. As a saiyan, Zukkah loved fighting, even if it meant that he would have to just stand by and watch.

Clove nodded in assurance on the condition of his scar, "It is a reminder that you're a survivor. I hope you beat the crap out of whoever did that to you."
The idea that she could get proper feedback from an islander intrigued her, "So tell me, what is your favorite fruit? I understand that mangoes, pineapples, bananas and coconuts are common island fruit. I usually do quite a bit of research before opening a new shop."
"Well, you're in luck, I do have a ticket." Clove pulled out an envelope from her ample bosom, it seemed she could store quite few things in there without having pockets or a purse, "Here you go, I believe there is two tickets inside, so maybe you can bring along a date, although she might feel a bit jealous if you cheer for me the whole time, so plan ahead wisely."
The tea princess stretched out on a hammock she was laying on, feeling quite comfortable with the atmosphere, and the night kept getting darker that west city looked like a blur as a light fog rolled in across the sea.
"It is tomorrow night at 7pm. I would be delighted to see you again, Zukkah-san."

The Tea Princess was quick to reassure that the saiyan warrior was indeed a survivor from the attacks he had lived to tell about. He may have been through a lot as a younger man, but he felt that it was time to take a step out of his comfort zone, which is why he left his clan behind to live a life he wanted. "Revenge is no longer an option at this point, that would only mean I would have to return to my Clan’s territory." He replied to her words, while snagging the bottle from Clove’s grip.
Zukkah took another long sip from the bottle, as Clove mentioned she has two tickets for him to see her fight. When she pulled them from her bosom’s, the saiyan almost spit his drink out, but managed to swallow the liquid and hand the bottle over, while taking the envelope from the Tea Princess. "A date? I thought that was what this was." He said in a slick tone of voice, while placing the tickets in the pocket of his pants.
As Clove stretched out in the hammock and told Zukkah what time the tournament started, he grinned wide at the words, before slowly taking a seat on the hammock. "I’m not going anywhere like this." He admitted, before laying back on the hammock with Clove next to him. "You should probably get some sleep, you have a big tournament to win." He added, as he threw his arms behind his head and stared up at the night sky.
