As Baccer was walking through the hallways of the temple, everything seemed quiet at first, almost too quiet in fact. He was expecting a bit more action from this place if he had to be honest. However, as he was about to turn around and leave, the aforementioned light sucked him in. He saw a creature like himself, witnessed their struggles and grudge. He saw the person they most despised. It... was him. Well, him from his red ribbon days. More purplish, but still almost identical, that was the interview in which he deserted the army. However, that wasn't correct. He was the only Bio-Android at the time. So how could he... As Baccer was pondering these questions, he was spat out into the battlefield, across from his counterpart. They locked eyes and Baccer realized this was the person whose memories he'd seen. The person who hated him more than anything else. The Bugman knew that the red bio-android would most likely not be negotiable, and none of them knew of dimensional shenanigans yet. So Baccer decided that getting into a guard stance was the best choice. Even in the off chance that the creature proved friendly, he could never be too careful. And if what he was facing was indeed another bio-android, he would be in major trouble. He'd heard stories about the unrivaled might of his predecessor, cell. Even if there had been anything to say, what would be said? Anger, especially the sort of primal, repressed and childish anger of someone like Baccer #9001-R, was not something which could just be ignored. The red carapaced bio-android had suffered many indignities, and been taught much, only to have none of the things that they had been told they could do be revealed. Had this event not lead him here, Number Nine Thousand and One R might have chosen to attempt to put the fear of the gods into the people of Earth and gain strength to conquer and build an army to conquer vast swaths of the planet with. As Baccer felt the waves of his counterpart's power-up, he grunted and tried to get a read on it. They seemed to be about equal in strength, though powering up made the other android get the slight edge. He realised this battle would be mostly decided in the moment to moment combat. But he couldn't do much about that now. He began powering up himself, still locking eyes with his counterpart, who now seemed to seethe with rage. Their clashing powers started to make the room shake, though it seemed to hold fast. Baccer didn't know if the creature in front of him had exactly the same abilities, so he still had to be rather cautious. He fell back into a relaxed, yet ready stance. Versatility and adaptability seemed like good counters to his double's single-minded rage. However he first had to make sure that he could endure the barrage of attacks that he would undoubtedly bring With a deep breath, the blue android opened his eyes, steeling his resolve and bracing for combat. Faciing yourself was an essential part of growth after all, and he sure as hell wouldn't back down from an opportunity such as this. Not that he could, now that he thought about it... Single-minded was probably an over simplification. Number Nine Thousand and One was one of a family of at least Nine Thousand and One other models of 'Project Baccer' who had been failed by their advanced model v2 prototype. He was not mad for himself, or anything so childish as that – his rage was for himself and his entire family. For all the people who looked just like him who were ashamed to be what they were because of V2's failure for them. Yes, this duplicate had a different face, a beak rather than a face, than V2. Yes, he had slightly devolved features, but it was not as if things such as the morph technique did not exist. Number Nine Thousand and One assumed that it was a disguise, and if it wasn't? Well kids didn't feel bad about beating up pinatas of things they were mad at, did they? Number 9001 charged forward at the prime universe's Baccer, reading his claws and pushing ki out to make his wings propel him forward in a rapid, dragon like dash. Baccer's eyes widened as he saw the speed at which the red android charged him. It was... well, it was quite similar to his. He got taken off guard at the first hit, grunting from the pain as he positioned his arm to block the second one. However the smirk on his lips was erased as he realised that the arm with which he blocked was trembling in pain. This person... was exactly like him. He could even use his unique sound technique, meaning that defense became way less viable. However he made sure to avoid his double's claws, knowing they could leave deep gashes if left unchecked. As the bugman finished his initial assault, Baccer took this opportunity to push him off of him, dashing forward with a ki-empowered barage of his own. Fangs bared, hoping to leave more of a dent than the considerable one his opponent left in him. Having seen the duplicate android's memories, he understood why they were fighting. It was a justified, yet primal desire for fulfillment. In a weird way, their goals were diametrically opposed. Baccer denied his destiny and wanted to pursue individuality, while 9001 got denied his own destiny, wanting to take revenge from the person that caused all this to happen. Number Nine Thousand and One R was not some simple retrograde model. He had been trained to make the most of strategy and action. In fact his particular designation, R, was because he was from the leader class of the Baccer units which had been built in preparation for their folding into the Red Ribbon Army as an additional unit. R could see the selfishness, the worries about Baccer's own want, even the idea that he seemed to have that there were no other Baccers out there – and it made him angry. Was this what V2 had thought on his disastrous day being interviewed, when he attacked the news casters and the crew, slaying them all while millions on live television watched? R's rage continued to seethe from him, red hot like fire which had more color in it than his own carapace. As the prime universe counterpart of himself struck him, Nine Thousand and One R dodged out of the way of the first strike only to be hammered by the second. So they were built similarly, that was fine. Now that the first round of fisticuffs was over, baccer had a brief moment to examine his opponent. He was slightly shorter than himself, with a glowing red exoskeleton in contrast to his blue one. His face was also different, with more humanoid features and lips in place of his beak. Despite that they seemed to be on a similar power level, and their caabilities were almost identical. But that didn't mean he wasn't in trouble. His opponent was dominating the momentum of this might from the very beginning, putting him in a very disadvantageous position. However Baccer didn't have the option to back down now, so all he could do was try and outmanuever his opponent into submission Thus, when he noticed that his opponent's claws were in contact course with him, he focused his movement and flickered out of the strike's path, only hit by the shockwave it left behind, and thus avoiding a gashing wound. However as he thought he was in the clear, another strike, even stronger, caught him in the side. He grunted and jumped back, before dashing ahead again and delivering a counterattack WC: 189 Total WC: 896

There was nothing to the future except what happened right now. There was nothing fueling what happened right now except the past. Whatever Baccer from the prime universe might think, Baccer number nine thousand and one R was firm in that belief and firm in the belief that they were not special innately, but they deserved the same chance as anyone else. His hatred for V2 and the administration that had sold them out after the failure of V2, not even allowing them go on an official manhunt for that villain – it was all rooted in the fact that they had never been given the equal chance of other Earthlings. While Baccer had managed to catch a break, and put a decent dent into his opponent with that last barrage, this seemed to only make his shadow angrier. As the red android dashed at him once more, he could feel even greater force between his strikes. Would... would baccer fall here?. His opponent was just putting too much pressure on, he was too fast... no, that wasn't true ,now was it?. Baccer could have approached the battle with the same mindset from the beginning. But he fount himself in the defensive again and again. Baccer was hesitating. Was it because of that exchange of memories before they were transported here?. this was also a battle of ideologies, and his was definitely the weakest. Baccer fought only for himself, his own freedom. Meanwhile 9001 was fueled by the richeouss anger of his entire species being denied their purpose. Was Baccer... pitying him?. He believed 9001 was right in his anger, and that caused him to falter and fall... however this was no way of living one's life. 9001 was a victim of circuimstance, he was what Baccer could have become. but where Baccer decided to grab his destiny, 9001 blamed the world. The red android had every chance to do what he did, roam the world and show humanity what he was realy made of. In a way, he was a slave to his programming, like Baccer once was. And with that, Baccer's goal changed: he would teach 9001 the value of selfishness. As the blue android's eyes flared to life, he crossed his arms and firmly blocked the shoulder block, grunting as the force behind it was enough to rattle his bones. However there was no time to lose, with a fluid motion he redirected the following Jab, though it still scratched his arm. At the end of 9001's attack, Baccer stood. By no means unharmed, but in large unmoved by these two tremendous attacks. For revenge and to prove that they were stronger than the 'later model' which had been chosen to represent them as if it was superior, more perfect, just because it was newer. He had been given a choice to rebel and have freedom. To speak for himself. The others were all many in a large product line. An image flashed from its mind to Baccer's, mocking and perhaps imagined, perhaps a memory from long days sitting on shelves of mega stores – an image of a pair of children fighting over a stretchy arm toy. it seemed his red counterpart had no intention of ending it's assault anytime soon. It just kept bashing and bashing away at him. This fight had seen him in the back foot since the beginning. However he wasn't out yet. There may be no chance of victory in this bout, but his opponent was too focused on purely attacking to consider attacks of a more... mental nature. And Baccer had one more trick up his sleeve, one that 9001 had witnessed only part of. His sound technique. With a mighty roar he began flapping his wings rapidly, creating a sound too high-pitched to be heard. No, this kind of sound could be felt. It could lock up a person's entire body, causing them intense headaches and pressure on their limbs. As baccer concentrated on that particular technique he took a deep breath and released a powerful sound wave, hoping it'd stun his double for long enough that he'd be able to bolt out of there. And with that, he dashed, leaving only his sonic boom as he tried to make a run for it. He couldn't see an exit, but he'd make one if need be. He was still powerful enough to break through stone... he hoped. But nothing ventured, nothing gained.
