Tiger Lily was out early in the morning digging out carrots with detectable ki signatures. While she dug them out and placed them inside a weaved basket, she reflected on a particular Pilaf Cartoon episode, where a rabbit beast man named Toninjinka turned Monkey Boy's friends into carrots before being punched to the moon. Cayle had mentioned that the cartoons could very well be about the saiyan named Kakarot based on the capsule corp comics he had been reading. There was a picture book she purchased at the gift shop of Hotel Z when she was participating in the ice sculpture event that was about the rabbit that lived in the moon. Between musing all these stories together she wondered if the moon had been turning the carrot farmers into carrots not dynocapsules. Ty did drop out of becoming an engineer like her idol Pilaf, in order to train in martial arts, and she knew it was physically impossible to trap a person inside these capsules without suffocating as the science would be unable to support that theory. Apart from being paid well for the job, there were several legal forms involved, and a vague explanation about the phenomenon. However, her theory about the moon was quite the stretch as well. A bell went off around the afternoon indicating that it was lunch time, meals were being provided by the theme park to the workers finding the carrots, and with a basket in hand she surrendered it to the Pilaf Corp personnel. All the picked carrots were taken to an underground facility, which no one was allowed to enter, and so she diverted her ocean teal eyes to the picnic table area with food on every table. Ty chose a seemingly empty table, as the other workers congregated to fill the other tables, and she was left to sit at a deli and fruit table instead of the rotisserie chicken or BBQ tables. The workers worked together to sit at the best tables which forced her to choose this table in particular. As she settled in she looked up and watched Orizuru sit across from her. With a gasp she raised her hand to point at his face, just inches away from bopping him on his sharp angular nose, and smiled. “It's you, whatever floats your boat, and to think you have been hiding in Pilaf Land this entire time. You never told me your name! So what is it?...You do remember mine, right?” Ty smiled, she was genuinely elated to see him despite the trouble they caused for each other, and she lowered her hand on the lap of her denim overalls. Her orange hair was tied in teal ribbons and around her neck was a light teal scarf that matched her glittering ocean eyes. [467] [467/2,000] @orizuru Cayle Pota

What a stupid way to spend the morning.
Orizuru slouched at the picnic table, chin cupped in his hands where he'd propped his elbows onto the table. A look of utter boredom was on his face. He boasted a love for fighting few others could match, but was it worth all of this?
He'd only agreed to do this stupid job so he could be close to her.
Carrot Top. It was the affectionate nickname he'd given her, and due to his penchant for punching first and forgetting to ask questions altogether, Ori had never gotten the girl's name before park security busted up their little brawl. Since their fight, thoughts of her had lodged themselves into his brain with little success of removing them.
Her form had been sloppy, and her technique passable. Yet she'd matched him blow for blow, and their strength was nearly rivaled. It bothered him on a level he wasn't willing to admit. What was it about this girl that made her so formidable?
He rolled his eyes when she flopped down at his table, finally recognizing him though he'd observed her from afar all day and scarcely did a lick of work himself.
"It's Orizuru."
No snarky remarks or unwarranted sarcasm. The soul sucking nature of this work had drained even his obstinate nature for the time being. He groaned and stretched his upper body out along the table, frowning at her.
"This is so boring! Can't we just leave and fight already? Sheesh... I do have a life, you know."

“Orizuru.” Ty repeated, “That’s a strong name.”
Ty helped herself to some grapes, as she reflected on everything he had said, and she was quite guilty for starting fights with people she just met. However, she had been encouraged by her friends to keep up the fight in order to protect the people she cared about the most. With a bright smile she tilted her head and then nodded in disagreement.
“I plan to finish my whole shift, I have to work for a living, if I desire an independent lifestyle. So, I cannot leave until then. Would you like to exchange contact information so we can train together at another time?”
The teenage girl reached inside her pocket and pulled out her capsule Corp c-phone. The wallpaper of her digital screen was a slideshow of the pictures she took which made her smile wider until she pulled up her address book and initiated a short-wavelength UHF radio wave to send her information to his c-phone device if he carried one at all.
“In order to cut down expenses in Pilaf Land, my friends, and I built a treehouse near the shore on a tree with a tremendous spiritual energy. From what I can tell, the more time you spend with someone, the easier it is to detect their ki signature around the world...and I am sure it’s the same with the tree so I can text you the gps coordinates so you can see it yourself.”

Cayle had not actually told Tiger Lily that he was going to do this job at Pilaf Land. He could have sat in the backroom of one of the Taco King locations that he had already opened and used that as a make-shift office to sit while she worked, but something about the advertisement she had saw and the description she had gave him of the work had made him interested in it. He wasn't at all suspicious that it was a trap to capture ki sensitives, but at the same time he was not at all without suspicion when it came to the Pilaf Corporation.
Sensing spiritual energy and keeping your own suppressed while picking up these supposed Pilaf Corporation equivalent of 'dyno-capsules' would be quite a challenge, and it would let him polish his skills both as a fighter and as an infiltrator, both of which were things he needed to master if he wanted to truly be able to free his people whom were still captives and being experimented on by the Tuffle Science Executive. So after Tiger Lily had left their hotel suite excitedly to go do her day's work, he got up and prepared. First showering, then digging through his dresser drawers for the bottle of 'Aunt Flora's Saiyan Hair Dye - Dark Blue', and then following the instructions to apply the temporary hair dye. After he was done, he dressed himself in a red flannel jacket, extremely dark blue denim jeans, white t-shirt, and steel toe reinforced work boots, and checked his hair in the mirror. Perfect, no one would expect it was him, especially with the matching fake mustache and the blue facial pencil marks he had painstakingly drawn on his face while the dye set, to give himself proper 'Earthling Stubble'.
He then went to work, first doing the carrot picking up as the others had, before wandering into the facilities they had been carting carrots in when the delicious catering was brought out and people began to rush to set it up. Cayle followed it, and stealthed his way throughout the area, keeping his spiritual energy suppressed and not making a noise as he spied on what they were doing and used a snatched key card to get access to places.
What he found was interesting to say the least, but made him wonder what really was going on here. Before time ran out though, he rushed through the corridors and back to the fields, disappearing out of the sight of a camera and then using a water hose and his spiritual energy combined to wash the dye out of his hair and the marker off his face. He reversed the jacket to it's solid black side, and then pushed his hair up into spikes. When he reappeared for the cameras, he grinned and walked over to one of the tables which was crowded, the barbecue table, and with a leap and a push of spiritual energy swooped past it and took two of the huge platters of barbecue with him. They weren't going to bogart such sweet, sweet, delicious, barbecue brisket and sides. He even flared his power level up to let them know exactly what would happen if they tried to fight him over it, before landing beside Tiger Lily and Orizuru. He placed the platters in front of them and without so much as a greeting, he planted a kiss on Tiger Lily's temple before tilting his head towards Orizuru.
“I don't believe you do, man. No way someone that carries himself like you do does. You remind me of this gym rat I know called Kite. I'm Cayle Pota, by the way – and there's something spooky in this rabbit patch.” Without even giving his full and proper name, he stopped talking to let the two of them continue and to began to tuck into some of the brisket, potato salad, cole slaw, corn on the cob, baked beans, corn bread, and green bean casserole which he had brought – after plating it at least.

His C-Phone buzzed in his pocket—it had received her signal transmission.
Her naivety astonished him. Why would she give him their personal location? He could strike without warning at any moment, and turn the place to cinders if he so wished.
Or so he let himself believe.
It was the first time anyone had willingly shared a desire to see him more than once. Once was often enough to last some people the entirety of their lives. After all, who wanted to contend with a social outcast like him? He felt he should thank her.
"Whatever." He scoffed and slipped his phone back into his pocket. "I don't care about your dumb treehouse. I just wanna fight."
Another boy appeared soon enough. He planted a possessive kiss on Carrot Top, one Ori found wasn't befitting of her stature. He grimaced at Cayle Pota's words, his brow knitted together in contemplation.
"How would you know what sort of life I lead?"
Cayle wasn't wrong. But Ori wouldn't give him the satisfaction of being right. He seemed full of himself enough already.
"You remind me of someone too—every meathead in every tournament I've fought in." Ori sighed and floated up off the bench. He hovered a moment in the air above them. "Whatever. Later, losers. I'm not hungry anyway. Let me know when you're ready to fight, Carrot Top."
With that he flew away, heading back toward the carrot fields. He'd show them. He could do a normal job, too, and do it even better.

Ty did not get Orizuru’s contact information but she did get his name this time around even after she asked him for it multiple times before and issued him a nickname of ‘boat’. Cayle’s arrival was a surprise, she had been doing odd jobs while he worked at his more serious food chain company doing clerical work and meeting investors, and he brought over food that she thought she would never get to taste since the other workers were strategically trying to block her from it.
“Good afternoon. I am surprised to see you here…” She was wondering why she could not detect him this entire time but then it would not be a surprise otherwise, “I did not know you like surprising people. Hmm. Kite? Oh, I haven’t seen him since the Hercule Martial arts promotion.”
She turned her attention back to Orizuru who must have felt ignored as he said his parting words to work on the field again. As far she could tell, everyone was on edge about something, being inexperienced with such feelings only confused her, and she shrugged as she helped herself to a proper meal before returning to the carrot hunting.
