Appearance:
Insign is just about always seen in his black bodysuit now, a lean fitting outfit that he wears on the job. He usually wears a modified light weight Flak Jacket on the job as well. The only thing that really makes his outfit stand out are the objects on his wrists, bracer like objects that seam to be the only real style he adds to his work outfit. Standing at 5'8 and weighing about 155 pounds, Insign looks more or less like a normal dude with messy hair, which he usually keeps tied up in a pony tail so it doesn't get in the way of his eyes. His eyes are a bleak grey color, a bit of an oddity.
Personality:
Insign is a quiet, stoic man who doesn't speak much at all unless spoken to. He keeps to himself at first, and speaks in a way that generally conveys a lack of caring. This changes once he gets to know someone, although his tone will usually remain mostly netural.
History:
Evan Setters, was a normal human male that worked a daily job. He was surprisingly average, with a basic background in martial arts but nothing more to his name than a few fights he's done inside events. One day while he was coming home from his job, he was mugged in the back alley of South Capitol, the city where he lived. The interaction ended with him laying in the alleyway, bleeding out from his gut as he slowly faded from consciousness, but he didn't die that day. In a lucky occurrence that was no more than pure whimsy, a scientist happened upon his body. A scientist from the Red Ribbon army, who made a call to save the man's life at the last moment. This was not without it's agenda, however. Upon waking up Evan was offered with 2 choices, be a cripple for the rest of his life because of the way the gun shots had hit him, or join the red ribbon army and be worked on to become one of their bodyguards. In the form of a cyborg using the infinite energy model they have. After a short, and loopy conversation from someone who was barely kept away from death's door, Evan agreed to become their android bodyguard. Most of his Family and friends were under the assumption he had died for nearly 2 months, and most are still under that assumption. As a cyborg, he was given the identification code "Insign" which he was to be called while on the job, and heavy martial training to improve himself from what he was so he could be a respectable guard working for the Red Ribbon army.
RP Sample:
The small burning of the heater inside his little living quarters he had now whisked to life beautifully as it set up, the 5'8 male sitting on the bed on other side of the room as he watched it. Not like he felt it anymore, one of the perks of the surgery that had made him a cyborg. His nerves were slightly damaged, so he can only feel heat if he's on fire funnily enough, or if the source is just that hot. He lit a cigarette and took a slow draft from it as he stared at the fire. There was usually nothing to do in moments like these when he was waiting to see if he had another detail for the day, to guard some other random stranger whose life priority was higher than his own. That was a surprisingly bitter thought that passed through his mind, one that provoked a chuckle from him. Eventually the phone in small corner of the room rang, and he'd get up to go over to it. He picked up the phone, pressing the three buttons for his security code to answer calls at his clearance with one hand as he placed the phone in between his shoulder and hear. "Android Insign, reporting." He spoke gruffly into the phone, his tone lacking any real indication of enthusiasm for his job or otherwise. A brief conversation started with the lady on the phone, and he hung up the phone quickly before gathering his stuff after being informed he had no more work for the day. This meant he had at least a day or so to himself, based on how things normally work around the headquarters. He'd shut the heater off before leaving the room, rolling his shoulders back as he cracked his neck. "Another day done."
He takes a public transport to his apartment in South city, before walking up to his door and promptly entering it. He set his stuff down and walked to kitchen, which he basically never used these days since the surgery. A slow, quiet exhale escapes his lips as he cleans up any mess that might of been lingering for one reason or another, before walking to his window. He stared out to the small section of the city that was visible from his window, lighting another cigarette to draft as he opened up the window. He leaned forward and put his elbows on the windowsill, his head leaning out of the window as he looked down to the city. "A good puff of earthen spirit to end the day, he guesses. He finishes his cigarette, putting it out with his bare fingers as he checks his phone for any missed calls. None. He places the phone in his pocket after making sure he'd get notifications if work gave a late notice call or something for last minute work. Closing the windows and turning off the lights, he exits his apartment, going to pass the day in some way.
