His room was adequate; then again, he wouldn't call it adequate. The light blue haired wolf would call it extraordinary. His room was actually larger than he had originally imagined. During the tour, on his first day after arriving at the large estate, Juni showed him around what would be his room; he saw that he had a small kitchen. Not the largest kitchen, but it was, for him, more than adequate, especially since he would have access to the main kitchen of the estate. Then he was shown that not only was there a kitchen but there was a store room beyond the kitchen behind a nice curtain. The store room was filled with a large selection of dry goods, which allowed him, when he went grocery shopping, to save money on those goods when he purchased foods to stock his small kitchen up. Aside from the store room, there was a bedroom as well as a bathroom with a nice tub. He quite liked his room; he liked it a lot. But, it made sense; at least to him it did. After all, before now, he had not had his own permanent room. He had not ever been given a place for his own; at least, not in a very long time.
After he got settled in his room, after he had been given a tour of the estate, Fenrir did not take long before he ended up in the training room. It was an impressive place; every piece of equipment that one could need was there. But the one that caught the man's attention was a wooden training dummy; he knew the name of the training dummy to be a Mu ren zhuang, usually used when training wing chun and various other martial arts styles. It stood out due to it being rather anachronistic compared to the more modern and new training equipment which dotted the room.
Walking up to the training dummy, he discarded his leather jacket; the heavy leather jacket with the fluffy lining around the collar dropped to the ground with a soft thud before he removed the red vest that he wore under it as well. Since it was the training room, he did not need to don the slippers he had been wearing to walk around the estate and avoid getting any dirt onto the tatami mats. He removed those as well. He walked up to the wooden training dummy, topless, rubbing his shoulders and popping his neck as he took his position and then began to work, striking the various wooden arms of the dummy with quick well coordinated strikes of the palm, the back of the hand, the flat side of the hand, and even the forearm, as the dummy - being built in segments - would spin, and he would duck and weave in order to avoid being struck by the wooden dummy's arms.
He was focused, his eyes narrowed, and every movement caused his visible musculature to flex or tighten as he worked on his katas, each strike and move was coordinated and done with a purpose, not wasting any energy on any thrown jab.
Nearly an hour went by and he was still going on strong, his upper body now coated in a fine sheen of what appeared to be the beginning of a good sweat as he continued to work on the dummy.

It's been awhile since the feline last fought. Her previous spar, with Luther, ended rather quickly, even though she had fun.. lot's of fun. Jade was sitting on the ground at this time of day, sipping some tea, which was freshly made by one of the servants in the house, and also some rice cakes. She sipped the last drop of tea, and indicated to the servant that she was finished. Once she did this, she decided to step outside of the house, instead of going to Juniper's room, and as for Fenrir.. she hasn't really gotten to know the guy as yet. She stood on the wooden bridge, taking in the fresh air that seeped through her nostrils. It was a great day. In terms of the atmosphere, but she was still.. bored. She wanted to train, but training by yourself is extremely boring. Well.. boring for her, at least. It's not that she doesn't train by herself, but when she does, she finds it boring.. really boring. She couldn't just roam around the area until the day blew off, so there was probably one option left.. train by herself.. in the trading room. As she turned, in order to head towards the training room, she could feel this ki signature, which was familiar, really familiar. But.. it wasn't Juniper. It was Fenrir. Jade went in front of the glass window to check out exactly what was going on, and what she saw.. made her smile. It was Fenrir, training by himself Hmm, I didn't know that Fenrir liked to train.
His red leather jacket was on the ground and that best that he was also there. He was actually throwing some strikes at the wooden dummy in the room, and by the looks of it, he was doing pretty good. It was probably time she approached him. She slid the glass door open, and said "Hey Fenrir, I didn't know that you liked to train. Well, I do too, but I'm not much of the punchy type. Instead, I throw ki blasts. You can continue though, but I think I'll just stick around."Saying this, she entered the room, and removed her sweater that she was wearing, revealing her black tank top with some shorts. She removed the sneakers and laid them outside in order to not get any dirt all over the place. She was bored anyways, so.. why not watch? WC: 404 | 404

His movements, his stance, and his strikes were precise and effortless. He did not waste any energy on any unnecessary flourish, pomp, or circumstance. He did not try to make his moves look pretty; rather, he attempted to get out as many strikes as possible, as fast as possible, while, dodging, ducking, and weaving out of the spinning training dummy's reach to avoid getting clocked in the head with one of its several wooden arms.
Something else that the tall muscled man appeared to be was focused. His eyes were narrowed, locked onto the wooden training dummy in front of him. He was so focused on his task, so used to the silence of the empty training room around him, that it took him a second to realize that Jade had even arrived at the training room. He didn't even notice her energy signature as she stood outside and watched him, getting a good view of the topless man as he went through rigorous training, yet did so with a certain fluidity and grace of a dancer. It was a mixture of palm strikes, using the forearm as a weapon and as a shield, and also dropping in several strikes from the knees and kicks, all in rapid fluid succession; managing to get dozens of strikes in on the dummy in less than fifteen seconds.
When he did finally notice her, he stopped; his final strike left him with his forearm pressed to one of the wooden arms of the dummy.
"Hm?" He peered over at the feline, noting her shorts and tank top and he canted his head, a small sly smile crossing his features, though it was not a flirtatious one but one that exuded mischievousness more than flirtatiousness. "It is a good way to clear the mind as well as train the body. I've been in far more battles and wars than I'd like to have been, I picked things up along the way." He pulled away from the wooden dummy and popped his joints, his neck, his knuckles and put his hands on his hips. "Ki blasts? Oh, I'm not very good at those. I would not mind learning a few tricks with those, though I wouldn't know who to ask for any form of training. Unless, you're willing and able; I would not mind showing you a few of the styles I have learned over the years," the wolf offered.

By the looks of it, he was good.. really good. Jade has never actually tried that before. It looked fun.. kinda.. well, it looked amusing. It must have been really easy for Fenrir, because he was punching, dodging and weaving through the whole thing, with ease. Well, that's what Jade thought. He acknowledged her presence and a slight smile came upon his face. Hearing that he has been in many fights and battles peaked the interest of the feline girl. She smiled at her new friend saying "That's great! I've never actually been in any 'huge' or 'serious' battle like you, I'm just like fighting. It's pretty fun, for me at least. I just have it as a way of expressing myself." Once he approached her, her tail twirled around in anticipation. Apparently, he wasn't good at throwing ki blasts.. well.. it was all about the aim really. She was pretty good at aiming, and she realized this after a few weeks of acknowledging that she was a ki user. She just decided that this was the way to go, and she maximised her potential with this. But, she knew that there would be a day where she would throw punches at someone. So, once Fenrir stated that he was wondering if she would like to help him out, and offered to help her out, she smiled saying "Sure! That's what friends are for. I would love to help you out with that, and I'll accept your offer. We could help each other, and teach each other what we know, because we are friends, right?"She looked at the dummy, in which Fenrir was training with, and went towards it saying "Hm, this looks pretty complex. Let's begin our training then, shall we? You could show me how to use this thing."WC: 302 | 706

"Battles aren't as fun as people seem to think; at least, the people who haven't been in battles seem to think they're fun. And maybe there are some that have been in battles who enjoyed themselves." He tapped his chin, as if he were thinking over his words, "Well, I will admit, that a good fight can be quite fun. A good spar can be quite exhilarating. A good tournament. But, when the battle is life or death, then it's not quite as fun. I guess, unless of course, you are into risking your life for the momentary thrill of cheating death. Then I guess it could be." He grinned again, "Hm, I've been in a few. Some of them were entertaining. Some were not. Hm, I'm rambling. I rarely ramble. I guess it's because people rarely ever speak to me about battles or training. They usually want to discuss other things." He did not go into detail, his eyes wandered off to the side then he appeared to remember where he was and he peered over at the young woman once again. When she asked about the training dummy, he turned his eyes to look at it. "This is an old piece of training equipment. You can tell this thing has seen some use." He motioned to it, "This is a Mu ren zhuang, though it's also sometimes called the muk yan jong, and is most commonly known as the wing chun training dummy. It's used in a number of different martial art styles, a few of which I have heard of, some I have working knowledge of. Some I practice frequently, it's very relaxing." The tall light blue haired man walked up to the wooden training dummy and gave it a pat, "You can tell it's old and it's seen so much use. Its three arms are somewhat worn, you can tell here, there, and there; and the leg appears to have also gone through quite a beating; but it's still standing, swinging, and it's got excellent spring to it; this makes it a living dummy, at least that is the technical term. It means that the user, me or you, feels the dummy react to every strike; you see, the dummy represents the opponent. As you can see, the dummy has three arms and one leg," he instructed, pointing to each of the wooden arms, then down to its lone wooden leg, "which represents an opponent's body in various positions as well as the lines of force the body can give out. Because of its springiness, it emulates the natural reaction of the opponent's body to being struck but also helps train your body in the way of absorbing energy or force from being struck in turn. It's also quite good at training the forearms and shins, which works for me as I also practice various other martial arts that use those parts of the body as essentially armor from enemy blows." The tall man walked around the dummy as he spoke to Jade, telling her just a few key notes on the subject, "Using it is quite simple; I'll show you and you can copy my movements." He nodded and stood in front of the dummy as he got into stance. Then he moved, as he did so slowly so she could see his moves, "Like this," his hands swept through the air, using both the palms, the flat side of his hand, and his forearms to strike and deflect the wooden arms, one then another then the third arm, then up again then rounding down and up, as he moved with slow effortless motions so she could see everything. Then he added a knee up to the dummy's leg and then pulled away and spun and gave it a swift but albeit very controlled kick, "Like that. I can also teach you other moves, but I figure for a start this would do quite nicely. So, go ahead, do what I did, take your time." The feline girl listened attentively, as Fenrir mentioned fights as not being fun, even though actually, some fights are pretty enjoyable. Once he explained about the basics about the dummy and how to use it, she paid keen attention. His arms moved freely, without an actual struggle, while he struck the dummy, spin it, and weaved away from the hands of the lifeless dummby. Once he went through everything slowly, he told her to give it a try.
"I guess I could try.. "
She went in front of the dummy, and assumed a.. fighting stance? Once she landed, her first strike with her elbow, and slapped away one of the arms, it went spinning, and it slapped her in the arm.
"Ouch! Maybe this isn't for today. But uhh.. I assure you that throwing ki blasts is easier."
Then a really great idea came to mind. One that could solve everything.
"Hey Fen, can I call you Fen? If you really want to show me this stuff, you could fight me. A small spar? Just to show eachother what each of us can do. It's been a long time since I've sparred with anyone. I think you'd be doing me a favour if you accept."
She walked over to other section of the room, and her jade green eyes were affixed at Fenrir. Her jade green aura flared up around her, dancing violently as it did so. It was just for a short period. Even though the energy was still left lingering around her body.
"Shall we?"
She didn't know exactly how strong he was, well.. after sending his ki for a little, she realized that he was slightly stronger than her, but.. it shouldn't be a problem, right? And even if she sees that Fenrir is getting hurt, she would've powered down.. basically what happened between her and Luther.

He had rarely ever attempted to instruct someone, so he was not entirely sure that he was doing it correctly; showing her a few simple katas and then allowing her to copy his movements. He moved slowly, allowed her eyes to take it all in. If she had any questions, she could ask; but he was more a shower than an explainer. Explaining something and showing something were two different beasts and Fenrir felt that it was best to see an act than to try and explain it in abstract or technical jargon. When she stepped up to the wooden dummy, he noted everything; first, her stance. He took mental notes on it. She had taken on a fighting stance. The stance itself was actually quite close, though it wasn't perfect. He nodded a bit as he noted her body's positioning, her feet, her hips, and her shoulders the most. When she struck the dummy and that particular partition spun, she was struck in the arm and he took a half step forward; his usual flirtatious smile not present, his eyes filled with something that one could only describe as mild concern, "Is your arm alright?" He peered over at it, "As I said, the dummy is good for training the body; in my case, it helped train me to absorb energy from impact, as well as pain from impact." He slapped his forearm a bit, "Muay Thai is similar, you train the forearms and the shins as body armor from enemy attacks. Don't worry if you don't get it the first try. You can try again later." When the young woman questioned whether she could call him by a nickname - Fen, short for Fenrir - the man grinned, "Usually, the only people who call me by a shortened name... But, I don't mind. If it's more comfortable for you, you can call me Fen." Then she suggested a spar, a simple friendly bout between the two of them, so he could show her a few things. Well, there were many things he could show her - not that way - in terms of fighting styles, techniques, hand to hand combat, and defensive maneuvers. Plus, he did want to learn about these Ki blasts that she had mentioned; she did say they were easier to perform than hand to hand fighting, though that could be due to inexperience on her part, the wolf theorized. "I don't mind," he nodded, rubbing his chin, thinking, "I'll show you a few things, and you show me about those Ki blasts. That sounds like a nice exchange." Looking around, he moved the wooden training dummy off to the side. It didn't weigh a lot, at least to him, and he placed it closer to one of the walls before he returned to where the young cat girl was standing. They had enough room around them to spar, and he was sure that the entire gym was built with barriers to keep it from being blasted apart; at least he assumed with there being people that could throw energy attacks around like confetti. "I hadn't sparred in a while, so I'm a little rusty." He said somewhat apologetically as his energies began to materialize around him, licking up along his well muscled upper body, resembling flames that did not burn. Yet, the flames did not give off heat. In fact, the air around him felt as if it had dropped several degrees in temperature as he grinned, eagerly. He allowed his energies to surge, his power rising slightly higher than it was before, "So, do you wish to throw the first attack, or should I? Usually its ladies first," The tall man questioned. At least he actually realized that she was in a bit of pain, and he asked the feline girl if she was ok. "I think so."Hearing that it's supposed to hit her, and help with her endurance and toughness, she replied with an 'Oh'. He confirmed that she was allowed to call him Fen. Once Fenrir agreed to spar with Jade, the feline girl smiled and said. "Great. Now, we get to exchange our knowledge about martial artist. Even though.. there was this one guy that I fought once. He said that throwing ki blasts isn't actually martial arts. What do you think? I rather not to give away his name like that, but I just personally like the ranged way of attacking."
After Jade was through with raising her ki, Fenrir proceeded to do the same. He admitted that he hasn't sparred in a while now, and that he might be a little rusty. Jade hasn't sparred in a while either, so.. win-win? She entered a defensive stance, waiting for Fen to attack, but for some reason.. he decided to let her go first. No problem. "Uhh.. ok. I guess I could go first. But before I do so, I'm gonna just tell you that this will be weird. This is something I developed on my own."
She stood there, and suddenly, she pointed her tail upwards, and a burning ball of jade green energy emerged from it. She then aimed it at Fenrir, and immediately fired it at him. This was followed by another ball of ki, which was fired exactly after the first. She remembered the first time she used this attack against an opponent. It was against Luther, and for some reason, he didn't stand so well against them. As for Fen, she is not exactly sure if he could take them. "Try to dodge these."WC: 310 | 1327 {JADE'S BATTLE TRACKER} SUMMARY

The light blue haired wolf canted his head, listening to what she said. Apparently she had faced off against someone whom had made note that using ki blasts didn't constitute martial arts. And after a moment's deliberation, he nodded somewhat as he was, in fact, inclined to agree, "Well, really, martial arts is the use of the body or a weapon, not energy attacks. I was never trained in the use of energy attacks as part of martial arts training. Which is why I don't really know how to fire them. I guess it depends on who you're fighting and what they feel about the subject. Personally, I do not view the use of energy attacks as martial arts. But I guess that's just my opinion. You can view them as a facet of martial arts while others do not." When the woman got into a stance, he moved into stance as well. However, his was a bit different than hers. His was set up in a way that would allow him to defend while also attack at the same time. He watched as she charged up her energies and then that strange attack which appeared to just materialize at the tip of her tail, "Well that's different." Then she threw it at him. Then she threw a second. The first one he blocked, he instinctively threw his arm up to use his forearm as protective armor as he threw his body towards her, ducking down somewhat with incredible speed. The attack hit him, it hit hard. He felt the burn, the pain, and he grit his teeth as he groaned in pain. But that didn't stop him. He cut the distance between them as the second brightly glowing attack went sailing past, having missed him entirely, and went at the woman with a series of potent strikes, the first being a potent upward punch to the stomach. This was to double the woman over. The second was a flat palm strike to the chest with a good deal of force behind it in order to then force the woman to be forced backwards as he followed after her should she be struck. If she was struck, by both of those, he would follow it up with a powerful attack - he would clap both of his hands on either side of her head, hitting her temples to discombobulate, followed by a straight punch to the woman's cheek. It was a rapid fire series of attacks all aimed at disorienting her and throwing her off balance. WC: 425 CWC: 2,680 BATTLE INFO - Fenrir DEFENSE PHASE.

Well, those two burning balls of ki sure did meat it's target, with both of them scorching his arm. Jade really wondered why this happened. She remembered her very first spar, with Zaru getting his arms burnt. But.. those were regular ki blasts, she didn't exactly develop this tail involved technique at that time. Hr ended up guarding the attack, which was good, but Jade heard the groan that he let out once the blasts actually struck his arm. He dodged the other, and he went straight at the feline. Her eyes widened as she witnessed his speed. He came at her pretty fast, and threw some punches in which she managed to weave through and dodge. One was aimed at her stomach, to the chest and to the head, but she still managed to pull it off. The training session has been going on pretty well so far, and Jade was already having fun. She took one step back, and dashed backwards, charging up a green ki blast at the tip of her tail once again, firing it at Fen. She stopped and charged another ki blast, and fired it at her opponent. He looks tough.WC: 197 | 1524 {JADE'S BATTLE TRACKER} SUMMARY

They were fast, faster than he was. They managed to dodge every single one of the strikes that he threw as if it were nothing. He was left more than just a little shocked. His eyes shot wide as each one of his strikes managed to miss their target entirely. The cat girl managed to duck and weave and then she unleashed another one of those glowing fiery attacks at him. The first one that had hit him had caused him quite a burn, his arm was in severe pain and it still was burning. He was attempting to chew his way through the pain but he did not need that again. The attack hit nothing but air as he appeared to just vanish and then reappear several yards away, gripping his highly burned arm, "I think I've had enough for today. I don't need intend to be rotisserie..." He turned and began to walk out of the training room, grabbing his jacket on the way out, holding his arm.
