Something was calling to him. It was in the Western Lands. Was it money? Was it adventure? Well, ok, those two things were probably part of the reason why he was heading there; he needed money. That wasn't to say that Fenrir was broke. He had actually gained quite a large sum of money from that Ice Sculpture event; he and that adorable young lady - Wuubi was her name? - managed to sculpt an intimidating yet beautiful ice sculpture of his mother, the great White Wolf of the White Desert, or at least that was the name that the locals used to call the area a long time ago. He had no idea if they still did, or if any of the people still lived there. It had been so long since he went home.
But, not to digress, he had some money. He had a good chunk of change. But, he wanted a bigger chunk of change. If he wanted to build a decent home for himself, a place where he could bring pleasurable company, and maybe have some friends over - maybe that Wuubi girl or that muscle bound red head he met at the hot springs or maybe that grey skinned demoness with the horns that changed her appearance - he needed more money.
He was told that in the Western Lands there was a place, a city where he could gamble and grow his riches. It was a city of sin; some did call it Sin City when he asked them about it, and the name alone sounded intriguing. Other names included Oolong City, and also the Realm of the Duchies or some other nonsense that he didn't really pay much attention to. Sin City was the name he preferred. That was what made him want to go there.
Gambling, women, men, a red light district, more women, more men, and more gambling. Well there was more to the city, he assumed than gambling and booty calls, but the blue haired man would keep his list of desires short and simple until he arrived.
He didn't have a mode of transport. He had the money to buy a cheap jalopy of a car but he didn't feel like showing up to the city of Sin in a car that was on its last legs. So, instead of wasting his money on a hunk of rusted parts, he decided to try something out. He allowed his body to defy the bounds of gravity and he lifted into the air and took off at full speed toward the Western Lands.
Flying was not his favorite mode of transportation; he had to admit. It was not the cold air against his exposed skin that bothered him, the cold never bothered him. It wasn't the height at which he flew, he flew at a good height above the ground and flew at a rather fast pace. He did want to get there in relatively quick time, after all. It was the fact that it made him miss all the scenery. All he saw, far below him, were flashes of green, brown, blue, green again, etc as he flew over plains, grassy areas, forested areas, lakes, rivers, streams, mountainous regions, and various other biomes.
The wind whipped his hair and his heart was beating quickly. He would arrive in Oolong relatively quickly at this pace; where to go first?
