With every punch, Zam wanted to hammer the point home. Not a kid, not a pipsqueak, not any other sort of tiny thing. She was a big girl! Big and strong! “Majin means strong!” ...No, it didn’t. “And that means I’m stronger than you!” ...Nnnot really, no. But her conviction would not be swayed. One day adults would recognize her real power... And then she would get praise and headpats!
A violent counter-attack shattered the dream. The little Majin was too distracted to even try dodging. So the glowing fists sunk deep, finding a critical spot in that malleable body. She coughed a spray of purple blood. It felt like time stopped briefly, as her mind tried to catch up. Wh-what just... happened...? She was sent tumbling backwards until she crashed into a pile of rocks. For few eerily silent seconds, there were no signs of life. She wasn’t even breathing.
However, soon the badly beaten heap twitched. The Majin flopped over and painstakingly pushed herself back up, arms trembling with every motion. More purple trickled from her lips. Her head was spinning. She had never gotten hurt this badly. It was... new. Definitely new. She didn’t like it. Not one bit. Steam whistled, venting her frustration to the world. Suddenly the trickling just stopped. She focused her crimson glare on the opponent and voiced an ominous question.
“Hey... Wanna see something COOL?”
Well, the furious creature wasn’t going to take no for an answer. She raised her palm towards the sky, fingers splayed. A massive surge of ki crawled up her arm. It gathered into a tiny, glowing orb, barely any bigger than a marble. With a pulse of power it grew to the size of a baseball. She gritted her teeth, pouring even more energy into it. Another pulse made it tremble as it swelled to the size of a volleyball.
Zam drew her hand back and took aim. “Go...” Her whole arm seemed to bend from the force of the throw. It was like a shot from a cannon, the impact alone carrying heavy power. “...BOOM!” Right on command, regardless of whether the initial hit landed or not, the orb burst. The glittering energy went wild. A bright flash filled the area, soon followed by a violent shockwave. But would it be enough against the determined warrior?

Both of Ahri's fists sunk into the gummy creature's stomach, sending the little girl tumbling away from her, crashing into a pile of rocks. Ahri panted, readying herself for when the majin picked herself up. However, the child lay there, lifeless. Had that been it? She looked down, now noticing a bit of purple coloured liquid on her small black sports bra. "Get up. I know you can continue."
She didn't actually have a clue. But she refused to believe that after all of this, the majin was down for the count. Eventually, the majin shakingly got up, as steam whistled once again. The majin raised her arm towards the sky, and in her palm, a very tiny orb of glowing pink energy was visible. As it steadily grew larger, Ahri prepared herself for any sort of attack. The girl threw the energy sphere with full force, towards the tall woman. Ahri jumped to the side as quickly as possible, as the orb hit the dirt beside her, causing yet another large explosion to occur. Ahri was knocked back by the sheer force of the explosion, and even worse, she was seeing stars again! Ahri fell over backwards, severely weakened. Her body was covered in bruises and cuts, and she possessed almost no ki. Both Ahri and Majin Zam had both been winded and injured badly. This fight would've provided a great tournament match. However, this was no tournament. This was a real fight. One that the taller, toned woman did not plan on losing. She was about to put all her ki into this attack. It's risky.... But if I fail to act now, will I last?
"Let's go..... Majin......"
Aura bursting, she poured almost all of her ki into her hands. This was going to finish the fight. If it didn't, then it was over. It would be all over, with no chance of redemption. She rushed forward, delivering a heavy, ki charged punch to the girl's gut. She used the other fist to carve another dent in the majin's face, regardless of whether the first attack hit or miss.

Despite all the strength and fervor Zam put behind her final burst, it ultimately wasn’t enough. She missed her throw by a narrow margin. The ensuing explosion couldn’t pick up the slack. Seeing the muscular meanie still standing irked her even further. Her cheeks puffed and a frustrated wheeze ruffled her hair. Hmph! She would just make another one and...
Too late.
The rapid rush was much too fast for the heavily injured Majin to dodge. She got caught by the first fist. It bashed the wind out of her with one final squeak. “Eep...” Her jaw dropped. Vision wavered. Body trembled. She was sent flying, tumbling and finally skidding against the rough ground. Avoiding the second strike by pure accident wasn’t much of a consolation prize anymore. This was the difference between a trained warrior and a playful child.
Bruised, scraped and beaten, Zam feebly tried to pick herself back up one more time. Her head barely rose from the ground. “Hnnngh...” Unfortunately it was useless... With her regeneration utterly exhausted, she could no longer ignore her injuries. The blazing aura sputtered and faded away. Her eyes turned into little black swirls as she flopped over. The world went dark.
Lights out...
Goodnight.

The finishing blow had been made. It was over, and the bigger female would walk away as the victor. Ahri's punch sunk into the majin's belly, as her mouth slacked open, releasing yet another squeak. Ahri's second punch completely missed the pink demon as if it had purposely avoided the child. Ahri nearly fell over with the amount of sheer force she put into the second fist. Catching herself, arms waving crazily, she turned to face the little girl, who had tumbled down the road they stood on, readying herself for any sudden attack. To Ahri's amazement, the majin did not get back up. She could barely even move. Nothing but her head was in motion as she tried to get back up. Her body movements screamed desperation as she tried to get back into the fight. Ahri continued to look on in shock. She couldn't believe that this was the end. Surely the majin was just toying with her? Right....? Almost all of the incredible power the child had shown earlier was gone. It faded away. It vanished. Ahri, crouching, panting and heaving, with both hands placed delicately on her knees, continued to look at the majin in utter astonishment and disbelief. The battle was truly over...... "I've won..."A feeble laugh escaped from her lips as Ahri kneeled on the hard, rough surface. She couldn't believe she had actually won. This whole battle, the majin had been in possession of more power than her. But I am better. I am disciplined. I am nothing like that child. Child....For the second time that day, the thought forced itself to the forefront of Ahri's mind. Had she truly almost been beaten by a child? She felt as if she was going to faint. She was exhausted. Almost completely rid of any strength she had at the beginning of the day. Stupid, stupid, stupid! Dammit....She felt a large amount of disappointment presenting itself in her head. If a demon could do this.... let alone a child.... does that mean she couldn't hold a candle to older demons? She quickly shook the thought out of her head and rebuked herself for even thinking it. No! Such thoughts were poison! I am powerful! I will show everyone!Picking herself up, she walked over to her backpack, which had been tossed aside at the beginning of the fight. She put it on while walking towards the unconscious majin. She suddenly felt a pang of pity for the child. Was this really what she trained for? Granted, now that she thought about it, the child had a lot of firepower stored inside her little body. Ahri felt tempted to bring the child to a health center in the city she was travelling towards. However, she worried about the trouble the child might cause, not to mention the questioning glances she'd receive from the usual people roaming around the city, going about their day. Instead, she opted to go towards the city, after taking the majin to the side of the road, laying her in a random patch on grass in order to make her more comfortable. At the city, she bought a packet of candy, the very same thing the majin had wanted before. She returned to the road were the majin lay, placing the packet beside the girl along with a note. After that was finished, she left and returned to the city. The writing on the note, written with a pen in large block letters, said the following, Be good. -From, Muscle Miss.

Lost in a dreamless sleep, the little Majin didn’t stir for a long time. She only laid lifelessly. By the time her consciousness finally came sneaking back, the opponent was long gone. Her eyes weakly blinked open. What... what happened? Her wordless mumble brought back a torrent of memories. Her lip trembled. Glimmering tears welled in her eyes. And she wailed. Loudly, endlessly and bitterly. Her body may have healed enough to get her back up again, but the mental wounds ran far too deep to just vanish. Losing was the worst.
After a good while of crying, Zam’s nose twitched. It was especially sensitive to sweet things. And something familiar tickled her curiosity. She glanced around, until she found a small packet. Turning it in her hands, she gave it a tentative sniff. Could it be...? When torn open, the bag released its delicious scent. It was! Without wasting a second, she started happily munching the candy. For a brief moment, she almost forgot about the bitter taste of defeat. ...Almost. Once the candy was gone, however, it came back creeping. She took the note and squinted at the large letters. Hmmm... Oh. Yup yup, that’s right. She couldn’t read. Buuut she knew a place where someone could. Clutching the paper against her chest, she meekly limped away... To the place she called home.
Back at the demon settlements, the upset child went around poking several demons before finally finding one who could read the note. Or one who wasn’t afraid to read it at least... The words were enough to cause another angry tantrum. When asked about this mysterious ‘Muscle Miss’, Zam told them the whole tale about a super tall and ultra buff demon woman. It was all totally true, she insisted. And her numerous, nasty injuries backed up the story. The older and wiser demons were quick to put the two and two together. Yes, there was only one kind of hulking creature with enough raw power to beat down a Majin. From that day on, a new cautionary rumor started spreading among the demons... It told of a fearsome female oni...
